Hyoza had been camped out atop Mount Paozu for several days, training and allowing his body to recuperate after his grueling battles with Ghirash's pirates, and then the Cyborgs. He still shuddered involuntarily when he thought back to the cabin - the idea that any species would inflict such horrors on their own kind was fundamentally disturbing to the Arcosian. It was worse than murder - it was a perversion of one's very existence - and to Hyoza, that was an abomination. But he tried his best to keep such thoughts out of his mind, and instead focused on training, and trying to come up with a better name for his favorite technique.
He had once again reverted to his first form, to keep his power under control. He had seen Arcosians who tried to carry on with their day-to-day in the more powerful forms. It was too easy to let slip, to make a mistake - biting through forks, shattering bottles by mistake - it was all stuff young Arcosians learned to avoid by limiting their strength - placing themselves in weaker and more restrictive forms until they could interact with their environment effectively. Then there was the fact that being in the most powerful form was often unnecessary, or even disadvantageous. It was often better to hide your true power, to reveal only when needed, like a secret weapon. And for all these reasons - Hyoza chose to remain in his weakest form, despite the constant dangers he had faced on this planet.
But for now, he was out of danger - recuperating from his wounds and spending some time honing his skills in the wilderness. The massive mountain was home to a bewildering variety of life forms, but surprisingly few people; which suited him just fine.
He had chosen a small clearing among the trees which carpeted Paozu's Southern slopes for his training, mostly for the massive boulder sat in the middle of the clearing. It had apparently fallen here from higher up on the mountain some decades ago, dislodged from its original position by some great impact. Regardless of its history, Hyoza was interested in it for one reason - target practice.
He'd been working on improving the dubiously-named 'Brave Gatling' technique Ghirash's pirates had taught him. Hearing them say it aloud had reminded him how ridiculous the name sounded, and his recent use of the technique had helped him realize a number of flaws in its function. So there he was - working on modifying the technique, and trying to come up with a better name. The rock had dozens of smooth craters upon its surface - burned in by repeated blasts from the technique, as Hyoza experimented with new ways of channeling and releasing the energy. So far though, he had come up with nothing. It was depressing that such an innately-powerful race as the Arcosians were so unimaginative. Most of the famous Arcosians had just used the traditional 'Death' attacks - Death Beam, Death Ball, Death Wave, Death Ray - they were all based upon similar techniques, and easy to learn on Arcose.
Of course, Hyoza had neglected to develop those techniques in his youth, and had nowhere to learn them after he left. So, he was left trying to feel his way through the finer arts of ki manipulation - a highly theoretical subject that was usually left with martial arts masters - the kind of people who trained all day and spent all night 'meditating'. Not something Hyoza had ever had the time for, but now he wished he'd thought a little more about it. For his entire life so far, he had been entirely dependent on others to teach him new techniques, and as a result there he was, fumbling his way through the process without a clue what he was doing. And his efforts so far had done nothing but produce a Brave Gatling blast that was orange instead of red, which wasn't really all that important to Hyoza.
He focused his energy once more, a crimson aura blazing to life around him as he felt the rest of the world become somehow distant and still. When all he could hear was the sound of his heartbeat, and all he could feel was the flow of his energies, he began the technique once more. He raised his hands, palms facing down, fingers and thumbs outstretched towards the boulder. He shifted his stance slightly, focusing on directing the flow of his power down his arms and into his fingertips. Slowly, he felt it build - the warmth gradually draining from his body and condensing into spheres of intense heat, each suspended like a water drop on one of his digits. And there he waited, allowing the power to build further and further, until finally the energy grew too much to contain, and he released them with a cry of pain. Suddenly, all the sights, sounds and sensations of the outside world came flooding back in, and he watched with growing disappointment as another series of red beams lanced out of his fingertips, and bored fresh craters into the boulder.
This was going to take a long time.

Alex had begun climbing the mountain a few hours ago but was already nearing the summit. He had climbed this mountain many times before even though he hated it. The freezing cold, the difficult terrain, slipping on ice because you couldn't see beneath the snow. Alex hated all of it, but it was good for one thing training. The dense, frozen rocks made great punching bags. There was a curtain spot he liked to train at, it had a big heavy bolder right in the middle of an clearing it was perfect.
However this time was different. As he neared his usual training area he heard a noise like the one his finger beam made, except more rapid like more then one was being fired off. He got closer to the clearing and hid behind one of the rocks near it. he peeked around the corner to see what was making the noise. 'An Arcosian.' Alex thought to himself. He had seen a few before but never really knew any. He had to approach with cation he didn't want a fight might cause an avalanche. Alex quickly came out from behind the rock "oh, I didn't know anyone else was up here." Alex said to the Arcosian, hoping not to provoke him.

Hyoza turned on his heel to face the new arrival - a young human male, fairly slim with yellowish hair. He was dressed all in black, and all in all, looked very dramatic. Hyoza had sensed him coming for a while, but hadn't expected him to stop by. Still, he didn't seem particularly powerful, and his introduction certainly did not seem to be very aggressive, so he decided to respond in kind.
"I was wondering how long it would take you to get here. I guess you can't fly?" Perhaps not the most friendly greeting, in hindsight. He stepped away from the boulder and towards the newcomer, looking him over. He really did look quite dramatic, tattered black clothes rustling in the breeze as they did. Hyoza was still not entirely familiar with human features, but he had an unusual look to his face, uncharacteristically miserable for somebody as young as he appeared; and worn, as though beaten by long exposure to the elements.
Still, Hyoza could not deny he was thankful for a little conversation, even if it was with one of these monkey-descended Earthlings. When he had been a pirate, he had grown accustomed to being part of a crew - jostling for food in the mess, drinking the latest plundered grog in the cargo hold, and fighting back-to-back on raids. His time on Earth so far had been fairly lonely, save a few brief encounters, many of which had eventually boiled down to fighting.
"So, what brings you here? I'm trying to work out the kinks in a new technique right now, as you may have heard," with that, he folded his arms across his chest and tilted his head to one side, awaiting a response. He couldn't deny, he was curious about this wanderer. Why would this human come here? And why the hell did he look so damned dreary?

(Actually, going to join you guys here.)
The day before
Almost half way to the Southern Capitol, something snapped in his head. It was a bit of cold reality to him. He was a criminal right now... While, yes, he tried to kill off demons, he was still responsible of the situation at hand. He was responsible for those deaths. He was responsible for the destruction and desecration of those ancient grounds. It was like he was toddler, playing with what he thought was a toy, but was actually a gun that got fired off and shot his father in the leg. He had to hunt the demons and kill them off himself. He had to first train himself. Having learned to control the Oozaru form, he had to now train himself as much as possible. His clan would have to forgive him for losing the feathers and head band... He'd have to find the necklace eventually on his own accord. If anything, someone probably found it among the rubble and pawned it off somewhere.
Over the ocean, he soared. He flew low, the moisture feeling nice on his face. However, his face was stern, looking forward to find a place to train in peace, before he went to hunt. One thing he had to learn to do, he remembered his sibling Waputhi using, was to sense out the soul of prey. It was allowed them to track animals and beasts very easily, so the village was prosperous and healthy. He found himself going over mountains as well, this land seeming to be extremely desolate as a single day went by. The canyons were indeed desolate, which caused disheartening in Pieter.
"No, this won't do at all... Have to find a good place. Has to have life..."
Midnight
Pieter flew over the mountains, weary as it were, even further Northeast. He went over plains, filled with grass and many a species. It was a good place, but not ideal for keeping secret. These lands contained highways from small settlements to a city far away. The metropolis was enormous, dwarfing him even from the many miles away. He could see the many lights glistening from the glassy city. It was a very pretty looking place at night, and could be a place for the hunter to visit. However, Pieter sped away, heading to very distant mountains South East of him. They seemed be bustling with life, with a forest near the base of the mountain. The city was not the best place to be at, provided his current circumstances.
"Have to make sure I have a place of sanctuary. The mountains and forest will provide food, water, and such a place for me to rest. The city should be good to gather information, if I can figure a way without revealing my identity," he uttered to himself, blinking as he did. His eyes were watering, due to the hunter not having sleep and being exposed to the sheer wind for so long. It was getting to the point where the wind felt like blades sinking in! He held his arms up, keeping an open gap in between to see while covering his face. He eventually reached the forest, flying just above the canopy. He eventually came to the base of the mountain, coming to a slow halt. He descended and made himself a small cave at the base with a few ki blasts. Once the smoke cleared, Pieter made his way inside this makeshift cave, checking around the inside to make sure it wasn't unstable by tapping his knuckles on the walls and ceiling. No vibrations or any sort of movement came to his ear, giving the hunter ease of mind. He went around, collecting branches for a fire and brought them inside. He used his ki to make a fire inside, then curled up next to it and slept.
Several hours later
The hunter awoke to the sound of many trees crashing down like thunder! He scrambled to his feet and rushed outside, to see what the ruckus was about. The animals were running about, fleeing the scene. The rested hunter rose up into the sky, looking around to find the source. It seemed nothing was there, though. Pieter scratched his head, wondering where exactly the noise came from. He then figured that it must have been something above, so he peered above. Nothing though! The veil of the clouds prevented any sort of site above him. Whatever it was, the fact he could hear it, and the animals were fleeing from it meant something big was up there and it was strong!
"Maybe this should be my warm up," Pieter muttered. He shot up above and pierced the pillow sky. Within a few seconds, he was above, looking at the top of the mountains. It seemed that, right above Pieter, a battle was about to happen... Or so Pieter figured at first. A young man and a white lizard, much like Shivera, were talking it up. He decided now was not the time to reveal himself, so the hunter quickly darted down to the clouds below, to mask his body. The hunter couldn't afford to jump into any situation without knowing what he was around; not with his criminality!
... Wait. He was kidding, right? First off, the hunter was on a damn mountain, miles and miles away from the city! The hunter could track and follow this... What did Shivera call themselves? Acrosians? Pieter took in a deep breath, holding for five seconds, then releasing. He floated upwards, lightly tapping on the ground the two people stood upon. He made no other sound, except for a quiet, "Hello."

Alex saw the alien looking at his cloak. "It's quite dramatic isn't it? Gives a feeling of awe." Alex got on one leg and spun around making the cloak spin.
"I'm here to train but not on anything specific just train. As for your technique, I heard it from down the mountain sounded a little like..." As he trailed off he pointed his finger at the boulder in the clearing and shoot a finger beam at it. Not being any where as strong as this new person, the beam just bounces off and randomly hit the snow. As the beam bounced off he noticed the small creators in the boulder. Alex eyes went wide "Did you do that?" he asked in amazement. how powerful is this... guy? he thought to him self.

Moments Before Pieter's Arrival
The human boy's eyes were wide with shock, a fact which gave Hyoza some small sense of satisfaction, the human was no threat. If he had been, he would not have seemed so stunned by the damage the Arcosian's 'practice' had inflicted upon the boulder. Satisfied that he was in no immediate danger, Hyoza decided to entertain the earthling's curiosity - he could not deny, he had grown somewhat lonely these past weeks.
"Don't feel too bad, I charged those blasts. I'm trying to work out this new technique, as I said." He smiled, flicking his tail in amusement. He didn't think the boy was masking a more powerful aura, based on his reaction to Hyoza's handiwork. But he still didn't really know what it was the human wanted. And he knew, regardless of how much he wanted to talk to somebody, that he would be wasting time if the human was just looking for some company. Hyoza had sensed several enormous energy signatures, and if he was going to be stuck on this planet, he would need to prepare himself for encounters with them. That meant training, and figuring out a way to increase the power of his blasted technique. With this in mind, he posed another question to the human.
"Now I hope I don't seem too rude, but what do you want? I'm a little busy here, so unless you want to train, I suggest you find somewhere else to -"
"Hello."
Though the voice was quiet, it was close, and suddenly Hyoza became acutely aware of an aura very close to his own power. He turned to face the newcomer, forgetting the boy for a moment. Now this might be a problem. Before them stood a Saiyan man - for his furred tail flicking behind him made it clear he was such - though he looked like no other Saiyan Hyoza had ever seen. He was dressed in primitive garb - furs and other animal hides - and what could be seen of his skin was bronzed and weather-beaten from long and constant exposure to the elements. His face was tattooed, and his features were unlike those of most Saiyans, being more stern and gaunt than was common among the generally angular and wide-faced species. His build was clearly that of a warrior, and his power could not be denied - indeed, Hyoza suspected he was one of those same powerful warriors he had sensed earlier.
It was time to be diplomatic.
"Hello, my Saiyan friend! It seems I've become very popular all of a sudden. Perhaps we should introduce ourselves? I am Hyoza, and you are?"

The young man hadn't noticed him yet, it seemed. However, the Acrosian was attentive, turning to Pieter and being quick with the pleasantries. He introduced himself as Hyoza. He, himself was strongly built, as much as Pieter. He seemed readily able to be getting into a fight, in case if something happened. It seemed that the hunter had interrupted his training, to which Pieter stated, in a much more open tone, "You may call me Wolfbane. So you were training up here?"
It was most likely yes, but he'd rather hear it from the horse's tongue. The impact show could've been from the human, but the Acrosian was more likely the culprit here. The hunter had no mind for training, but the amount of damage he caused to the environment told him Hyoza was exerting too much force. Pieter asked him, "The amount of power, it seems you are exerting, is so much that even civilians in the city would hear it and think a bomb had gone off. You should control the amount of energy you put in."
Pieter wasn't in any real mood to fight. He had just done a major battle, after all. The Acrosian, as well as this other person, looked weathered and seasoned in combat. The young man, though, had a brooding appearance. If anything, the man was just someone who had been travelling and trying to escape from something.

"I didn't think it was THAT loud." Alex said, putting in his 2 cents. He looked at the saiyan man, just by looking at him he knew that he was also much more powerful then himself. Alex sighed. "And as for your previous question, yes I was going to train but met that guy," Alex pointed to Hyoza "and started talking. I still want to train, preferably without getting killed. Soooo, could you two train me? Alex asked. He knew both were extremely powerful and if he asked to sparr he would probably die. "I mean if one of or both of you declines I understand, you just met me." Alex said this still hoping at least one would say yes.

"Well apologies if the noise disturbed you, but I am trying to make my technique more powerful. Which means I have to put a lot of power into it," Hyoza responded in a very matter-of-fact tone. This Saiyan had surely not come just to complain about loud noises. He looked at the human boy, sizing him up. He really was much weaker than the other two, and seemed far less experienced. If they were to train together, Hyoza would get rather less benefit out of it than he would. Still, these two certainly looked a pair of oddballs here on Earth, rather like him. It could not hurt to make some allies.
"As for training, I am happy to participate. It's pretty much all I was doing anyway. We're all strangers, but we don't have to remain so. What do you say, Wolfbane? A little friendly sparring, share some experience and techniques. It would benefit us all." He finished with a smile, arms spread apart, palms facing outwards, in a diplomatic gesture. If he could persuade the Saiyan to join them, there'd be a considerably greater benefit to this whole deal. If not, he could always train the boy up as an apprentice.
Of course, the human would be almost certain to agree, but the Saiyan seemed to have something else on his mind. Perhaps, if Hyoza could learn what it was, he could find a way to provide some assistance to this Saiyan, who was powerful enough to be a very worthy ally. Sensing somebody's ki was not as precise as a Scouter, but if Hyoza had to make an assessment, he might even go so far as to say the Saiyan actually exceeded his own power in his first form, at least by a little. Of course, without the full moon, the Saiyan could not exceed that power. Hyoza drew a sense of security from knowing he had several transformations to give him the advantage...
In fact...
"I have a suggestion, in fact. A good way for the three of us to train together," He smiled, in what he hoped looked a friendly manner.
"I'll transform, to make myself more powerful. Then you two can work together, sparring against me. What do you say?"

"I only mention it for fear of the animals and forest below. Should these mountains be eliminated, they'd lose a source of water flowing to them to sustain them. In addition, I would prefer people to veer from this area as much as possible," Pieter explained. He had his own personal reason for that. The two of them seemed intent on training themselves. It was something that excited him a bit, even in his mood!
He told the two warriors, knowingly contradicting his statement "Actually, I do need to track better. I can track an animals physical prints, but there was a technique my brother achieved where he could feel out the soul of a animal that didn't hide itself. For reasons of my own, I will train with you two, to understand he felt out them out."
Pieter paused for a moment, to listen to what Hyoza had to say. Pieter then responded, "I'm still very weary from my travels, so how about I give you both ideas as you two spar while I figure out how to sense each of you out?"
The hunter planned to meditate after giving some points to the two of them.

A small smile rested on the boy's face as he walked through the forest, glad he had finally started moving away from his Saiyan heritage. Of course the big oafs would come after for what he had done, but they had a fat chance of tracking him with his communicator crushed and his space pod still in its capsule. The day was indeed looking up... or at least he had thought so.
Nearing a clearing, Yuken suddenly lost his footing when several powerful blasts collided with the ground the resulting explosions echoing throughout the mountain. Falling on his backside, the boy waited as this went on for several minutes and then abruptly stopped. Curiosity peaking the half-breed made his way over to the clearing quickly kept his back to the closest tree, peaking around the plant when indistinct chatter reached his ears.
The boy got a good look at the people in the clearing and almost immediately ducked behind the tree again when he saw the bulky one's tail.
'After me already? But why?!' Yuken thought, panicking as he felt out their powers and peaked around the trunk again. 'And it looks like they didn't just send another Saiyan. A human... and an Arcosian? Didn't expect them to go so far as hiring one of them... but it doesn't matter what race they are. The big guy and the Arcosian are at least twice as strong as me. The human doesn't seem to be much to look at, but he could be hiding his power... I better get out of here!'
About to leave, the boy suddenly stopped mid-step when he realized they would probably see him leave by flight and there was no way he could outrun them, not with their combined power and superior numbers. Besides, how many other groups were on the mountain already?
'No.' The boy thought with a sense of finality, tightening his fist. 'This ends now! I'm not going to run away from them, or be scared of them anymore! I'm going to send them a message! That they can't control me anymore!'
Checking one last time to make sure the trio hadn't seen him, Yuken slowly pulled back his right arm and his face was soon bathed in a dark blue light as he charged a sphere of the same color and hoping that the small group would not discover him before the attack was ready.

Alex opened his mouth to say something when he saw a blue light from the corner of his eye. He flared his cloak up over himself and pointed at the light. From his finger came a small pure black beam. He had learned if you didn't know what something was: attack it. The attack was very weak and would most likely be dodged.

Swearing under his breath, Yuken jumped above the forest canopy and avoided the black beam. Startling his would be captures the boy decided to make use of the attack he had been charging and aimed it at the feet of the Arcosian, yelling " Blue Star Blast!" Before firing off the attack and quickly spinning around and flying low as he headed for another group of trees. Flying with all his might, the demi-Saiyan merely hoped the attack had thrown up enough dust to cover his escape.

Hyoza saw the blast-wave hurtling towards him - blue energy so bright it was almost blinding to look at. However, this unknown attacker's power was considerably lower than his own, and the attack was no real threat to him. He took flight, launching himself into the air and after the mysterious assailant, as the wave slammed into the ground below him with explosive force. The Arcosian pirate could see the enemy - he had managed to travel a fair distance thanks to his distraction, but not far enough for Hyoza to miss the furry tail sprouting from his back. Another damned Saiyan. The filthy monkeys were everywhere these days.
His mind was full of questions, why was this man attacking them? Who was he? Why would he risk engaging three people whose combined power so vastly outweighed his own? But these questions would have to wait - Hyoza was in no position to interrogate the fleeing assailant now. First, he would need to catch him.
With his much higher power, Hyoza suspected he would catch up to the monkey before long, but he was unwilling to leave it to chance - he hurled a flurry of weak ki blasts after their unknown attacker, hoping that one would either hit him and knock him to the ground, or that he would be slowed down trying to dodge them. They weren't by any means life-threatening, but the concussive force if they managed to hit would certainly knock him around a bit. Having released his barrage, he sped up again, trying desperately to close the gap between himself and his foe.

(Quick note guys. Power level is, at this given point, at 17,312 with the weights on, and 23,083 with them off! That is all!)
The hunter heard a noise coming from a nearby tree rustling. However, he assumed it was just a animal, proceeding to ask "Would this be fine with the two of you? Once I get an idea on how to do it, I'll join you in real training."
Pieter moved back several feet, then sat down with his legs crossed. He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath, before having to open his eyes to see the two preoccupied with the tree. It seemed there was actually someone there! The hunter remained in place, to observe the events before him. A white-haired saiyan in blue clothes had made his way up here and started to attack the Acrosian. Perhaps it was a dispute with Hyoza?
"Hyoza, is that an acquaintance of yours? He doesn't take very kindly to ya," Pieter asked. It seemed the Acrosian didn't take very kindly to the white haired saiyan too. Even the human had initiated attack on the saiyan. What was the story with this person?
The hunter decided he'd go back to his meditative state, so that he could remember what his brother told him. He closed his eyes and put his hands on his knees, as he let out a long, deep voiced, "Yooon."
Pieter wasn't going to partake in this situation unless it was becoming dire. He knew not what the situation was here. For all he could know, the person was just mistaking them for someone else and was letting his impulses taking him.
