Atop a large mountain, Hitake sat meditating. This mountain being the largest, over looked several other large mountains scattered around with wide valleys and lakes to finish off the land scape. It was uninhabited, and it was a perfect spot for Hitake to train. He had somehow managed to stumble across this little gem while on earlier travels. He was hours from any cities and would likely not be disturbed here by any normal humans. Hopefully by anyone for that matter. His goal here was to get stronger. After his recent confrontation with some kind of assassin which he barely managed to beat, he felt he had to push himself. He could not risk another close call, not this early in his "vacation".
Time would fly by as Hitake meditated. His mind clear of all thoughts, his sense of place and time no longer. The only thing present or even important was the search for his inner power. He would wish to connect and be able to draw it fourth from his body giving him a boost unlike any other. The search was long and for a personal like him, almost impossible in his state. That did not stop him from trying to force his way through the impurities of his self and of his Ki. Three hours would pass with no luck. Hitake came out of his state with a slightly pissed off expression. At least he was able to keep himself in a meditative state for a period of time now. That was something...
"Tch... No closer to my goal, why do I even bother..." Hitake lightly sighed. He was angry, but he was stubborn and that would not deter him from trying again later.
Moving to the edge of the mountain, Hitake, would look around and take in his surroundings. So far nothing had caught his eye. He was watching for any signs of assassins coming for him. He was able to hide his power level but these enemies of his were smarter and had other ways of tracking him, much like he could someone else. Even if he had went through measures to hide his tracks he was still on edge. After reassuring himself that he was not being watched, he decided it was time for a bit of intense all out training. This place would look like a war zone when he was done with it. The first thing he did was eye out a large mountain at a distance.
He would raise his power level high in one large burst then raise a hand with a exaggerated "HA! firing a projectile of energy at the mountain which exploded on impact taking a small chunk out of its side. Again he repeated the process, then again. He continued to fire projectiles while picking up the pace until he was firing one after the other in rapid succession. Each one would slam into the mountain side causing chucks to break off and fall, eventually causing a small land slide. He did not stop until the mountain would have a new name, swiss cheese. It felt good to let loose and have a bit of fun. Hitake had already forgotten about his failed attempt at finding enlightenment.
"Ahhh yeah! This is better than any vacation. If only I had a real body bag, I mean sparing partner to train with" Hitake smirked
Settling his power level, Hitake jumped from the top of the mountain and flew down until he landed by one of the mountain chunks he had created. He would focus his Ki and power up, each second went by, the ground shook, and small bits of earth and dust would rise. At his heightened point, he would release a super charged punch to shatter the rock into thousands of tiny pieces. He quickly rushed to the next and with all his might he would toss it high into the air. Raising his right hand he focused until he released his distortion wave, opening and closing his hand, launching a blast that shot through the earth and shattered it into large pieces. Hitake would fly up and began to strike the pieces as if they were enemies. A punch to one and a kick to another. This repeated until every piece that was created was now dust.
Hitake would then fly out toward the battered mountain and begin to assault it with a flurry of punches and kicks. Each one full strength. Each time he struck the solid surface he risked breaking a hand or foot. He was tough though, he would push through the pain. This made his strikes more powerful without hesitation as he would become used to the pain, and eventually build up a thick layer of skin to protect against some of it. This continued until skin cracked up and began to leak out blood that mingled with dirt. He finally lowered his power level for a moment then took a look around at his handy work. It left him with a grin on his face. One mountain down, several more to go. His training was far from over. He had plenty of light left and plenty of energy.
