Arias slowly walked around, listening to the leaves rustling in the trees and feeling a weird calm about her from the quietness of nature. Rustling leaves sounded over her head as she walked, until she smacked right into an Arcosian and stumbled back, dazed from the sudden impact.

Along the isolated forest trail, the Arcosian walked around, allowing himself to walk in the open for once. Despite this, he still kept his tattered cloak wrapped around him. It didn't conceal him all the way, with it being completely ripped at his knees. He didn't care, though. It was good enough for him.
The alien was more concerned with what was on his mind. He had no home. He was a gypsy, a wanderer. The Saiyans had annihilated everything he had. Just recently, while he'd been wandering and hiding on the planet he was trapped on, he returned to the homestead where Hakuri had trained him--and where the Saiyan Cabba killed him. It made him think about his past, not just with Hakuri, but the past year when he met Taiga and fought alongside his army against the Saiyan invasion. Taiga had been defeated and Polar was ordered to retreat, much to his chagrin. Then he faced off against the Saiyans again on Earth, but that time indirectly. It was there he first saw the power of the Super Saiyan and witnessed the army of the Saiyans fall apart as the commander declared his defection. Just after the battle, he had a fateful encounter with the commander, but the commander didn't kill him. And even after all the suffering the Saiyans had caused him, Polar could not bring himself to hate the Saiyans. Even when he had a Saiyan at his mercy at the battle on Earth, he let him go. Why?
Before he had met Taiga, or even Hakuri for that matter, Polar had always considered himself a hateful being. But something changed him. His father, Lord Chilleon, taught him strength and brutality. Hakuri gave the hot-headed warrior a cool head and patience. When he trained under Taiga, Polar learned to let go of his anger for the Saiyans as a race. Prejudice, he realized, was impractical. Not all Saiyans were evil. The events on Earth proved that to him.
It eased his mind, but it also took away the fire in his heart that made him a warrior. What was his purpose in life now? Simply to wander. He was trapped on this Earth and the Arcosians were gone. He had lost touch with the events of the galaxy and went into hiding, like a coward. A coward. The very thought disgusted him.
With everything taken from him, with no purpose in his existent, the Arcosian simply did not care anymore. He'd gone to the very lowest depths and indignities just to survive. Why continue hiding? What was the gain?
Polar would momentarily regret this decision as a young woman bumped into him. Had his senses been so dulled that he wouldn't notice this woman coming? He looked up. The woman, judging by her armor, was clearly a Saiyan. Naturally, he was guarded.
"A Saiyan?" Polar observed as he looked down on the slightly shorter woman, "What are you doing out here?"

Arias stepped back, her tail fur fluffing up around her waist. She was obviously much weaker than Polar, and she looked like she was pretty fast due to the strength of her leg muscles. Arias remained extremely nervous, slowly backing up from Polar, stepping back slowly as not to aggravate him. She was trying to not anger him, but she still had some bloody stains on her hands from murdering an entire race recently.

Polar raised his brow as the woman backed away, seeming more scared than he could ever be. He lowered his guard and crossed his arms.
"Can you talk?" asked Polar, not really conscious of whether or not that could be considered offensive.

Arias stood there, anaylzing whether it was best to talk to the Arcosian or if she should just fight or run. Fighting was far out of the question, Polar was much stronger than her. She slowly regained her calm and stood straight, facing the Arcosian and looking up slightly. Her hazel eyes were expressionless and blank. "I can talk, there sometimes is no law saying that I must. The name is Arias. What is yours?"

Rolling his eyes at the woman's riddle-speak, the Arcosian responded with a polar bluntness.
"Polar."
He looked her over. Indeed she was a Saiyan. If her magenta carapace didn't prove it to him, her tail, which lightly hovered behind her, did.
He had to wonder for a moment if this woman was part of the invasion force misplaced after the chaotic turnout of their attack. He wouldn't imagine the androids nor the humans would be too fond of the Saiyans, which would explain why she was so far out here.
"I ask again," he continued with a sternness in his voice, "What is a Saiyan doing this far out here?"

Arias growled in response to the sternness of his voice, getting slightly aggressive. "I lost everyone I cared about, and fled here to get away from the carnage of my homeworld." She said, a frigid tone lacing her voice. She did not want to speak of this, nor did she want to talk to the Arcosian. Her tail twitched in an angry, erratic fashion, the fur on it getting rustled by his behavior.

Polar's eyes widened at this, but he quickly closed his eyes to regain himself. It was a sob story he was all too familiar with. It was almost a twisted irony, as if some sick weaver of worlds found amusement in this.
"Haven't we all?" Polar noted coldly, almost sardonically. He opened his eyes to get a look at the girl, not changing his stern look. It was almost as if it was fixated on his face permanently--imprinted.

"My parents were killed by your race." Arias added frigidly. "But if you prove you will not kill me as well, I will not judge you." Her tail curled around her waist. Her eyes slitted and her lip curled showing her sharper than average canines. It was clear she was a heavy meat-eater, and had pretty much no use for her flatter teeth, her molars. The sayian girl flared her nostrils, her right eye twitching plainly.

Polar couldn't help but sigh with annoyance. "If I was out for blood, we wouldn't be talking."
The hooded lizard began to walk past Arias, mindlessly saying, "Run along, little monkey."
The expletive wasn't necessarily meant to offend Arias. It was merely something that had come to become part of his vocabulary, synonymous with Saiyan.

Arias growled. Feeling completely insulted by the comment of monkey, she almost flung herself at him, wanting badly to rip out his throat and splatter his organs all over the grassy forest. "Don't call me a monkey!" She roared, her voice booming in the silence as stormed off into the woods. Her eyes blazed and her teeth were gritted with anger.

Polar turned his head, hearing the woman and surprised at how easy it was to get rid of her. She was most definitely fiesty, but it didn't seem like she was interested in confrontation. He watched her turn tail and run off into the woods. For a moment, he considered letting her go, but then he considered certain possibilities.
As far as he'd known the Saiyan invasion had been stopped, but that didn't mean the Saiyans would give up. They were notoriously prideful. What if this was a scout? It was worth looking into. Taking out his kelly-green scouter, the Arcosian scanned the area and quickly got a fix on her location and her PL. It was around three thousand. She was just a peon!
Polar quickly blasted into the air to intercept her and in a mere ten seconds, he stood levitating in her path.
Polar resumed frigidly, "I have a few questions."

Arias growled angrily, her eyes lighting ablaze. She pushed right past him, continuing to walk, her aggression was beginning to rise. "Leave me be, Arcosian." She spat. Her tail twitching in a rather irked fashion, her blazing hazel eyes showing no intimidation, or at least she was trying not to show it. Arias' eyes narrowed, her eyes diluting to hazel orbs with black slits in the middle, which were her pupils.

Polar felt his own patience wearing thin. He grimaced as he levitated there, watching the girl continue on. Raising a finger he blasted a Death Beam toward a nearby tree. Not enough to cause her harm, but enough to cause a small explosion, which would catch her attention.

Arias got startled by the death beam, a brief chill running down her spine before it was replaced with anger. Arias snarled angrily, Polar was making her aggression rise with every move he made. She turned to face him, her ki exploding into a bright aura that swirled like an untamed bonfire. Her eyes remained ablaze, with the pride of a Sayiajin. "Speak what you want so I can be on my way."
