Pin sat in the Captain’s chair of the Pixie Blue as Earth finally drew close. He switched to manual controls and paused briefly just outside the planet’s atmosphere. He was sure that by now Earth had some idea that he’d arrived. He credited the fact that the Pixie didn’t have any outward signs of being affiliated with the Solay Saiyan Empire for why he hadn’t been attacked yet. His hesitation ended as he remembered Cipher’s meeting with Habana. Saiyans were welcome to come to Earth, as long as they don’t start trouble. Pin hoped that open invitation applied to Saiyan-shaped Androids. He also hoped that what he was about to do wasn’t construed as “starting trouble”. He hit the accelerator and entered Earth’s atmosphere. As he entered the atmosphere, he ran an environmental scan for a suitable area for him to land the Pixie. He wanted somewhere with a lot of open space, far from any major urban centers. Pin found himself surprised as the scanners picked up on a zone that was surprisingly similar to the wastelands on Vegeta, but a bit less harsh. How appropriate. Pin set a course for landing in the Spinach Wastes. The Pixie touched down with relative ease in an open field of the Spinach Wastes. As he powered down the main engines, Pin worked on linking his internal scouter with the Pixie’s communications systems. It didn’t take long before Pin managed to turn his scouter into a long-range broadcaster, hijacking radio and television transmissions in a pretty broad radius. “ People of Earth. My name is Pin. The universe is a dangerous place. As a result, I am issuing an open call to any warriors, hunters, and soldiers that may be looking for...exciting employment opportunities. Your first test is to find me. Good luck.” Pin ended his transmission, but not before broadcasting an additional series of sounds and tones. This ‘white noise’ was actually an encoded image of the spot where he’d landed, along with his coordinates. It wouldn’t take much technical expertise to decode the image, but Pin hoped that this extra step would weed out the lazy and the thoughtless. Neither of those traits would do. ___________________________________________________ Thread PL 47,852 Heavy Weights ON Weighter PL 11,963 jinzon Shivere Kay-El

The world felt too large, sometimes. Now, for example, as Kay stared out at the sky through the open window, marveling at just how small she was in the grand scheme of things. The girl wondered where Pin was, wondering if she'd ever find him. At this rate, it didn't seem likely. No matter where she turned or how many people she asked, no one seemed to have even heard of him. To this day she still felt the dejected sting every time someone looked at her rough drawing, heard the name, and sadly said 'no.' No, they didn't know Pin. No, they had no idea where to start looking. Yes, they hoped she found him some day.
Her new teacher, Mimikku, whom Kay would meet in a few days for their first session had the most inspiring words. She'd told the story of how she found and re-connected with her long lost daughter, and she told Kay to never stop looking because finding that lost family might be one of the most rewarding things she'd ever do in her life.
Nana had the radio in the background and Hannibelle’s newest single blasted to life. “Ooooh turn it up!” Kay squealed with delight and Nana complied, turning the dial on the old device, the best they could afford. Just as they got to the chorus it just stopped abruptly and Kay frowned.
And then words started falling from the speaker and it was all she could do to remember how to breathe.
‘People of Earth,’ it started, and Kay groaned inwardly, accompanying it with an eyeroll. The last thing she needed was some weird, outside force trying to invade Earth while she had the bad luck to be there. ‘My name is Pin.’
My name is Pin. My...name is Pin, my name...is Pin, my name is…Pin]. The words reverberated in her skull on repeat like some strange infestation or parasite. “Pin,” she breathed more than spoke, marveling at the possibilities. After all, how many people could be named Pin? It had to be fate, she decided, and from the look Nana gave her, the Saiyan understood, too.
The rest of the message played on, too short and succinct for Kay’s liking. She wanted to hear more of his voice, savor the sound, memorize it if she could. A series of loud beeps and then it ended. “We have to find him!”
“We will, Birdie, I’ll be right back. I have an idea about those sounds.” And with that, Nana left the room, leaving Kay to stew in her own excitement.
Maybe she’d surprise him, go over, apply for whatever job and impress him - maybe even get to know him a little and decide how to tell him. She’d show up and they’d get along and everything would be perfect . Nothing could ruin this day for her, nothing. Delusions of grandeur filled her head, excitement filling like a balloon finally full to bursting with air. She felt like she could do anything, be anything, even go anywhere she wanted now.
Pin is on Earth, she thought and suddenly wondered if he’d heard about her somehow. Was he here to find her? Was this a way to reach out to the sister he never met? Did he know about her before? Would he recognize her or would she have to tell him? No, she’d probably have to tell him… Softly, Kay-El hummed as she sped through her chores, tidying the little apartment they could barely afford while they stayed on Earth. When Nana finally came back out a full twenty minutes later she held up a piece of paper and Kay almost dropped the little wooden figurine a kind lady once carved of her, for her, without her knowing and made a gift of it to her before they parted.
“I think it’s coordinates…” Nana said with a slight frown tugging her her thin lips downward. They two listened again since another radio show repeated it and Kay recorded it this time, playing the series of beeps back at them until they were sick in the face from hearing them so much.
Nana pored over a map while Kay took to the internet. “No, that doesn’t make sense,” Nana mumbled, crossing something else off from the list on her previously blank page.
“What if it’s...sort of like coordinates,” Kay said. “Maybe it’s a picture!” She liked drawing and painting and all that stuff, maybe Pin liked creating images, too. As an android, perhaps this was his way of doing so.
Nana looked over at her a blinked a few, long times before she said, “You just might be right. I never thought about it like that.” Another few minutes later and they had their location. The two shared a look and took to the air, leaving through the open window. The apartment was in an attic atop a nice house, rented to them for cheap so the owner could bring in a little extra cash for some rarely utilized space so they didn’t worry about break ins or anything like that. In a good part of town, they’d been lucky for such a find. They paid a little rent, chipped in around the house, and had a place to call ‘temporary home’ as a result.
Another look passed between them, a conspiratorial grin, and the two took off toward the Spinach Wastes.

Thread PL - 6850
The Arcosian had only been on this planet a short while, but he certainly found it to be one of the strangest locales he had ever visited. Despite humans being the primary species inhabiting the planet, he spotted some of the variety of other beings - it seemed as though the Earth were a kind of interplanetary hub that anyone and everyone visited at least once. Shivere had never expected to end up here, without an army of conquering Arcosians anyways. But it was bound to happen. Aliens seemed drawn to the little blue marble as inexorably as moths to a burning candle... Generally with the same outcome. The green-crystal Arcosian floated around in his standard, suppressed form. Left to his own devices, Shivere quickly became bored. How long would he have to wait before he would receive a personal transmission from Yardrat? He shook his head, focusing all of his thought and emotion into a single orb of energy within his own mind. He simply needed to trust in his fellows, and take their orders whenever they came. ...exciting employment opportunities.Shivere's head whipped south. Off in the distance somewhere, the Arcosian could only barely hear the transmission. He tensed, focusing his energy into his senses. He felt as if he had a thousand years to burn away, and he needed something to take the edge off - preferably violence of some sort. It seemed a good enough proposition. The first test was to find him? That seemed simple enough. The only issue he faced was his pod - when it had malfunctioned the visual circuitry had burnt out, making it impossible for him to create an image from the broadcast. Luckily, the memory core for the pod was still functional, meaning that he could take the original recording and convert it into a kind of binary code - which he would then translate back into an alpha-numeric system that would disclose the original location of the broadcast. The battery in the ship sputtered low as it printed out the information he needed, then died. It looked like he was stuck here until he purchased a new ship. Well, he thought to himself, I do suppose that I have something to do in the meantime... (Sorry if the post is short, needed to post before transferring computers back)

Samba had once more hit up the very same fast food restaurant from last time. And this time, the workers were keen on not asking him where he got the money from or if he could even pay the amount he ate without stopping. If only they knew that the money he had on him was 'found' after he stole a bandit's lair in the mountains. He would feel bad that he was using the money of stolen people but he couldn't do anything about that since he didn't even knew to whom it belonged to, let alone if the person was still alive at that point.
So finders keepers, at least, the money was put to good use, filling the Zoan's black hole of a stomach.
"Ah, I'm satisfied." The male muted his satisfied burp with a closed fist and motioned a free waiter over to pay his check. "You're ready to pay... sir?" It was the same kid from before, and while his tone was still full of judgement, at least, it was hidden (poorly) by a polite expression on his face. "Indeed, I am," Samba said slowly before taking out the necessary money. "Here, keep the change, consider it your tip." Wasn't he thoughtful and considerate, unlike a stuck-up teen that he knew of.
He left the building and the astonished worker behind and came out with a full stomach and a good mood. Even his tail was wagging to show to the world that he was happy. "My compliments to the chef, those were some damn nice burgers." Samba's speech was slightly disjointed since he was picking at his teeth with a claw.
He stopped picking at his teeth when a strange voice sounded from all around, seemingly coming from every device that could broadcast something. He turned around and heard the message left by an unknown being, and he couldn't help but raise a brow in curiosity. Whomever this Pin character certainly knew how to get someone's attention, and judging by the message it seemed like he was searching for employees to work for him.
What a strange way to announce such a thing, though, but he shrugged it off without a second thought, he'd probably find weirder characters in his travels to become strong. But first, he needed to find where the signal had come from and find this Pin character before he could do anything else.
His curiosity wouldn't let him push it away until it was filled. Sometimes it was more of a curse than a blessing.
But how to even trace the damn signal? He wasn't a tech savvy person, hell he barely knew his way around one of those Computers and another tech-heavy thingamajig. Finding this person without the help of a poindexter would be almost impossible.
"Tsk. Who the hell was this person? Figuring out the code on the white noise that they left is almost a chore, I should feel insulted." An arrogant voice said and Samba's head almost got a whiplash as he turned wildly to the owner of that voice. Soon enough he found what he was looking form and quickly loomed over the teenage boy.
The teen merely responded by putting his glasses back on his nose since they were sliding off of it. "Yes? Can I help you? Can't you see I'm busy?" The teen pointed at the laptop he carried with him, where Samba could see what seemed to be a complex matrix of numbers and a tab that showed the map of the world. He quickly focused back on the boy since trying to make sense of that thing was just giving him a headache. "You, can you tell me the locations of that transmission?"
"Oh, I certainly can." The teen grinned and pushed his glasses firmly back on his nose once again and remained silent as he worked on his computer again, obviously ignoring Samba.
Samba felt like he was being mocked, he didn't like that feeling one bit. "Could you tell me where it is?" He tried again, hopefully with better results.
"Oh, I certainly could." The teen's grin widened as he continued to ignore the Wolf Zoanthrope.
Motherfucker was enjoying this, Samba had to quickly reign in his temper before he blew his top and did something rash like perhaps strike the teen across the face. "May you tell me the location of that transmission?"
"Now was that so hard?" Samba's eye twitched dangerously, and judging by the suddenly nervous teen the rage that he felt dancing behind his eyes wasn't missed by the human. "U-um, okay let me type the results in quick." Samba crossed his arms over his chest and impatiently waited for the teen to get it over with.
"There, it's in the Spinach Wastes, but why would you even—" There was a great draft of air being displaced and once the human looked up he found no trace of Samba anywhere. "Tsk, rude. He didn't even said thanks. The nerve of some people."
Samba quickly flew to the Spinach Wastes, it would take him about five to perhaps ten minutes if he flew without any interruptions on the way.

Thread PL- 27,341 ( weights active. not sure how to alter accordingly )
He had just finished healing a day or so ago. The sudden match he had with the saiyan youth had been interesting indeed. But now he was up for more. Time for the training was over, and it was time to get back into action. He couldn't let himself stay weak for long. And that was the right way to say it. He was weak, and that little match proved he had a lot more to go before he became worthy in his own eyes. A trip into town had given him some time to eat and explore, and picked up a new scouter. His old one no longer usable. And it was a good thing too, since on his way back, he picked up the transmission from someone that apparently just landed. The message of course was this....' “People of Earth. My name is Pin. The universe is a dangerous place. As a result, I am issuing an open call to any warriors, hunters, and soldiers that may be looking for...exciting employment opportunities. Your first test is to find me. Good luck.” ' and was followed by white noise.
Although he had to think that over. White noise after a message? On purpose? It was calculated and the noise itself had a purpose to it. It wasn't random at all. He stopped mid flight, and cycled through the settings on the new scouter. Soon enough the white noise was filtered and information was extracted. A location in the form of a picture and coordinates. He couldn't get the picture of course, but the numbers for the location were another thing. Pin huh? Well this did sound interesting and he needed the distraction. Anything to help him further his fighting skills....and to gain money. He turned until he was in the right direction and then took off. Going full speed since he had much ground to...fly over.
After some time, and the annoyance of watching the distance count down on his scouter, he arrived in the spinach wastes. Same general area of earth, of where he had his would be camp for a while but far enough away to make this either worth his time, or not. Slowing down he came in with some caution, wanting to see who else showed up, or what was waiting for those that did. After all, the invitation could be a trap to attack or enslave would be fighters and others. One never knew and he'd be damned if he walked into a trap so easily. Another precaution he took was to suppress his ki so that it would be much harder to detect him if anyone used the ability to sense ki.

Pin sat in the Captain's chair of the Pixie, fingers steepled in front of his face. He watched as the onboard sensors tracked his surroundings at a distance, watching as the energy signatures of basic wildlife went about their daily business. He wondered if he should try to get some gravity training in while he waited for someone - anyone, really - to arrive. He ultimately decided against it, wanting to make the best first impression possible. He always came out of that gravity chamber looking a little ragged. Then he noticed a couple of interesting things on his scanner panel. First, there was a fairly large energy signature heading into the wasteland area. Wonderful. He'd had company soon, for better or for worse. He was simultaneously impressed and disappointed by the audacity of whomever it was that approached so openly. The second thing he noticed took a bit longer for him to figure out. It was a smaller energy signature, and he nearly mistook it for a particularly strong bear or something. But then he noticed how it moved. It had been moving fairly quickly at first, but then slowed to a cautious speed. He'd seen wildlife act this way before, but typically something above average like this would be an alpha of some kind and just walk around like it owned the place. Pin smiled. He would have two guests soon. He stood from his chair as his long-range scanners indicated that there were some incoming objects of interest. They could be people or missiles, his scanners couldn't tell. Those scanners needed to be upgraded... Pin approached the back of the ship, where the boarding ramp was currently shut tight. He stood in front of it and began to cycle through the visible spectra of light on his helmet. He would wait until his guests arrived before coming out. He did so love to make a dramatic entrance. ________________ Kay-El

Flying at those speeds, asking if they were there yet wasn’t an option, but Kay wanted to super bad. Mostly, she just wanted to go and get there and see her brother. Did his pitch sound interesting? Yes. But that desire fell secondary to the more pressing and immediate one to see if he’d accept her. Having dreamt of this moment for almost a whole year, she couldn’t quite wrap her mind around it actually happening. What if it was a different Pin? What if he hated her? Dreams becoming reality often had downsides, or so she’d learned. Nothing in life ever came free and the things most worth having often had to be fought for. As they got closer, Nana put out an arm and nodded toward a figure, also in the air, and Kay recognized him as Samba the Wolf Zoan she’d met at the lake. That had been one crazy day with the weird, angry Saiyan woman and the demon coming out of nowhere! Alright, not out of nowhere, he’d come out of the lake like some freaky monster straight out of a children’s story. And Core...attacking the demon for getting blood in their lake, contaminating it, messing with it. Thinking about Core, she realized she’d get to relive whatever happened here today with Pin. Whether it went swimmingly or completely upside down, he’d hear her out and either cheer with her or help comfort her. They’d get hot chocolate and go on another adventure if she needed distracting. But that wouldn’t be for a little while, she just needed to see how today went and go from there. One thing at a time, and she promised herself she wouldn’t rush this. Nervous, her? Naw...surely not. A little further out she spotted a ship, blue and white and round like a coin. Heading down, she landed lightly on the grass, bare toes meeting Earth’s uncut blades. Shivere

Shivere blasted through the air at the maximum speed that his suppressed form would allow, and had been for nearly half an hour at this point. His ki pushed the blasting air away from his body so that it ripped and vibrated deafeningly. He had taken a map from a lowly human monkey, presumably a farmer, along the way. He inspected it now, occasionally looking forward to compare his current location with the paper in his hands.
The Spinach Wastes... The young Arcosian didn't know what 'spinach' was, but he really didn't care. Now that he was aware of his location, all he needed to do was turn one-half degree North and follow that line of movement for roughly fifteen miles. Quick and simple. It took him barely any time before he spotted a ship off in the distance, and as he came closer he realized that he was not the only one whose curiosity had brought them to this place. Shivere slowed down as he came within half a mile. About three hundred feet in the air he would be visible to anyone who looked directly at him, but he wanted to remain just far away enough to make sure he wasn't falling into a trap.
He waited for a few minutes, but it felt like such an eternity that he gave up and blasted his way down toward the ship. After a few seconds he stood on the ground, arms crossed, staring at what appeared to be the entrance of the ship. He currently had no interest in those already here; every single bit of focus was concentrated onto the ship itself.

Samba tilted his head slightly when he felt many Ki signatures approaching in his direction, or more like heading in the same direction as his. He recognized the form of Kay-El and waved a greeting in her direction though the old woman floating beside her threw him for a loop.
"Fancy meeting you here, Kay-El and... a person I don't know of. Sorry." Samba blinked at the woman, unsure of what to really make of her since she was so old, but ultimately he realized that it didn't matter if she was centuries old, since she could see that she was strong enough to have a relatively high essence of Ki inside her.
He silently landed on the floor close to Kay-El and walked toward them, throwing a nod at his acquaintance and another at the woman he didn't know the name of. "Hey there, the name's Samba. I know Kay-El from some days ago." He carefully did not mention the circumstances of said meeting less he probably worried the woman too much. Though the wound that Arias inflicted healed up nicely, he still wore bandages around it to stop any sort of infection to get through.
He felt another Ki signature approaching fast and turned his head slightly to see what seemed to be an Arcosian landing not to far from their location though it seemed that he did not care about them and just focused his attention on the ship instead. "... A friend of Core, perhaps?" Samba drawled at Kay-El while nodding at the Arcosian before them.
There was also another Ki signature not too far away, but since it was so relatively low he dismissed it as something of no importance, perhaps it was just someone training or a powerful animal roaming around. "I wonder who is the person who owns this ship. It looks strange... yet cool I guess." Even as he thought so Samba did not lower his guard at all, just in case it was a trap set for them to fall into.

Sake watched the ship patiently. Watched as others came as well, drawn in by the same message it seems. He could pick out the Arcosian. Same mindset as him it seems in how he approached. Cautious until he simply became interested in the ship. Then the other two, an elderly woman and much younger girl. And then there was the... earthling. A wolf zoanthrope. Interesting collection indeed. He doubted many noticed him, or if they did notice, then they didn't think him a threat. Finally though he simply took in a deep breath and slowly moved forward and down at an angle. Guess he should join the rest of them...more or less in case their host comes out to greet them. But there was always the chance others would join as well.
He touched down after a few minuets, kept his power low and kept his mouth shut. Stepping forward in an arching path to make sure he was able to see the ship, and the others there. With distance between them, he could respond to any threat that was revealed. Always be ready for a fight, to defend or if need be, retreat. There was no shame in retreating if you knew there wasn't a chance to fight. He wasn't afraid of multiple opponents. He'd faced that before and loved the challenge. But in an unknown situation like this, better safe than sorry. Until he could form a plan of attack or get some information on the opponents.

Pin watched as his scouter picked up several more power signatures, each of them coming to a halt nearby the Pixie. He took a moment to allow them to settle, and to see if any further auras would be approaching. When he was satisfied that this was going to be the general turnout of the afternoon, he nodded to himself and approached the exit ramp.
The Pixie Blue's loading hatch opened with a hiss, and a ramp slowly lowered to the ground. Once it came to a stop, Pin walked off the ship at a casual pace. His tail was wrapped around his waist in the fashion of the Saiyan elite, and his arms were clasped behind his back. The sunlight reflected off his glossy white and purple armor and helmet. A breeze sent his cape - currently colored a deep, regal purple - billowing behind him. His pistol was holstered at his side.
He took in his visitors one at a time. There was a young Saiyan male, he'd been amongst those who approached carefully. He was impressed that a Saiyan of his calibur had developed such a sense of caution. He was used to impulsiveness and bluster.
Pin was surprised to see that an Arcosian had shown up. The Arcosians were still reeling from the decimation of their homeworld by Pin's understanding. He hoped that the strained tensions between Arcose and the SSE wouldn't cause this meeting to turn sour. Even so, Pin was confident that he could put the Arcosian down if it came to it - he just hoped it would not.
The wolf Zoanthrope threw Pin for a loop briefly. He'd forgotten that Earth was home to more than just the humans, and while he was used to such odd alien species such as Brassica's Simians, the wolf Zoan cut an imposing figure nonetheless. He was glad that a native had shown up, but hoped that this native hadn't shown up to try and get Pin to leave.
And then there was the girl and the old woman. Those two were an interesting pair, but the little girl stole the show. With strange blue hair and a tail that resembled a Saiyans but was colored in that same blue, she looked almost like a cartoon character. Despite her looks, however, Pin was shocked to see that she commanded the greatest power of all the warriors that had gathered here. Whoever she was, she had his curiosity.
"That was quick," Pin said to them, the Pixie's ramp closing behind him, "I'm impressed. Thank you all for coming. I assume you're interested in my job offer."

Kay's eyes sparkled with joy at seeing Samba again and as he greeted her, she ran over and gave the wolf a hug. Quick, brief and warm, she pulled away quickly and said, "Samba, this is Ban, my Nanny." She'd learned recently that 'Nana' wasn't her name and been shocked, but that was a tale for another time. When the wolf nodded toward Shivere, Kay just shrugged. "He's interesting," she said, her tone neutral. There were many things she wanted to say about the Arcosian like 'haughty' or 'mean' or 'stuck up' to name a few, but knowing how sensitive the Arcosian's hearing was, she took the wiser action of keeping her silence.
As Shivere ignored her, so she ignored him and when Samba asked that last question she said, "Oh, the ship it's -" but as interrupted as a Saiyan male entered the area. Again, Kay shut her lips, not wanting to say too much in front of strangers. Samba wasn't a stranger, but the other two were. No, better safe than sorry all things considered.
And then there was no more time for idle chit-chat as the door opened and Kay tensed, eyes wide and staring as if drinking every sight in like she wanted to memorize it and never let it go. Considering that was precisely what she was doing, it was no small wonder. The first thing she was was his shoes as they walked him down the ramp and then dark pants, tail and light armor. The purple cape billowed behind him and she wondered if he’d planned that. No, probably not, but it still held a certain amount of flair and style she credited to him deserved or not. A small smile tugged the corners up her lips upward as the helmet came into sight and she realized it, at least, matched her drawing. Not a very good drawing, mind you, but it matched.
When would the right time be? She thought about saying it now and then thought better of it. She still didn’t know enough about him, nor he about her, and then he asked a question and she found herself nodding. He was impressed! She had impressed Pin. So, yes, of course she’d come for the job, what other reason could there be? All in all, the day counted as a success in her book. Not matter how things unfolded from there, at least she’d laid eyes on her brother.
Nana had taken a step back from the group showing her support but clear line that she was there for Kay, nothing else.

The very first thing that Shivere noticed about Pin was his humanoid form, though something seemed... Off about the man. The green-domed Arcosian couldn't quite put his finger on it, but this man seemed to be in a state of both life and unlife simultaneously. He shook his head, forcing all thought from his mind. Shivere was here for the potential of excitement and prosperity for himself, and when he returned to Yardrat he was sure to be hailed a victor whose power could only continue to grow. He chuckled inside at the thought of blasting his way through the ranks of this little organization, to stand at the top with the power to use those below him for his own benefit.
He didn't mind the idea of mercenary work, but even though he didn't mind fighting against those of his own species, it would require either a good reason or hefty profit. What he did mind was potentially working alongside humans and saiyans as equals. It made him want to gag, but he held it back. The position this man Pin offered had better be worthwhile in that case. As for the politics of the SSE vs AE, Shivere had been born and raised on Yardrat, and even though he was aware of the destruction of Arcose, he felt no real emotional connection with the planet or the empire as a whole. He hadn't even bothered to research such things he had heard of like the "Tree of Might". It didn't effect him directly.
Shivere crossed his arms and cracked his neck to one side. He hadn't bothered to look away from the ship, and any curiosity toward those who had also showed up was stifled by his desire to find out exactly why Pin had come to this planet to offer random fighters a job. The arcosian assumed himself to be the most powerful of those who had appeared, mostly due to his inability to sense power levels, and he felt deep within that if he decided he wanted to join this organization, he would not be denied.

Samba blinked as Kay ran over to him, and he couldn't help but arch a brow in curiosity at such a strange gesture to greet someone, a playful smirk crossed his face as he was about to tease her a little, like she had missed his furry butt that much from the time they met each other back at the lake, but her next actions made him freeze in shock.
When Kay had dived for that strong, and not to mention very warm hug it sparked something deep withing Samba. Something that he had missed for a long while, back in his childhood, he'd always hug his Father and Mother first thing in the morning before getting ready to train. And that was oh so long ago, he had honestly missed what a hug felt like, and so he wasn't ready at all for the myriad of emotions that that awoke within him.
"K-Kay-El..." Samba whispered his arms were raised because of his early surprise when Kay hugged his middle, and they shook with the need to lower them and hug the child back with everything he had. He had missed this feeling for so long and have it taken away so quickly almost made him whimper like a lost pup instead of the adult Wolf Zoan that he was.
When the hug broke apart and the introductions were made from Kay's side he quickly schooled his features and nodded in greeting at the old woman now know as Ban. "It's nice to meet you, Miss." He turned toward Kay-El when she was about to mention whom the ship belonged to, but once the Saiyan showed up (seriously where were all of these Saiyans coming from?!), and possibly because the Arcosian was also nearby, she trailed off and instead looked at the ship.
He turned at the sound of the ship opening up and out walking another being, one that looked to also be a Saiyan judging by the tail he had wrapped around his waist. The Saiyan certainly seemed to have a trait for the fanfare, and if this was another situation Samba might have snorted in amusement. Instead he used his Ki Sense, trying to get a reading of this Saiyan and almost blanched when he didn't felt anything at all, making him realize that this was not a Saiyan as he first was lead to believe, but rather something Robotic, an Android to be more precise based on what he remembered from that day in Satan City.
"Yeah, about that. Point of order." Samba's deep bass voice echoed as he raised a paw like he was in a classroom and trying to get the teacher's attention. "What exactly is it that you do and will have us do? Call me paranoid but I want to know what I'm getting myself into before agreeing to anything." The Wolf Zoanthrope crossed his arms over his chest and rose a brow at the Android, patiently waiting for a response.

He watched the others. Listened and searched. He was glad for his early mastery of ki suppression and sensing. Waiting paid off as he soon learned the names of three of the people here. The old woman was a caretaker called Ban, her charge was Kay-El. The wolf zoan was called Samba. He sensed strength in them but wasn't sure how strong they would be. The arcosian was still unknown to him but he knew the arrogance of that race would be a problem eventually. All of them had that attitude of being vastly superior to everyone including their own. His own people were arrogant, but for good reason. They were the best race of warriors out there. Tilting his head lightly he watched the way Kay-el and Samba interacted, and Ban as well. Ban was their for her charge and that was it. Her body motions made that clear to him. Kay-El and Samba knew each other from some past encounter.
Then the ship opened. Or more to the point, a hatchway opened, with a ramp. He arched an eyebrow at what he saw. His impression dropped seeing the rather....flamboyant entrance of this person. It was apparent this was the one that sent the message. But something instantly made him feel uncertain. The outfit was ridiculous but not to be concerned about. It was the void that he felt. There was no ki, no life force. And there was the tail, a saiyan tail. That is what had him on edge, though he wasn't sure why. As long as there was a challenge and money he didn't care about what you were or who. As it spoke, his thoughts were confirmed as this being the person being the one that sent the signal and made the offer. This was an interesting collection of people so far though. The wolf spoke then, addressing his concerns. A good question to ask but one that would have been explained soon enough. So he waited, watched and listened.
