Riku's attack shot down towards Gnash almost faster than a bullet. The crimson red ki sphere was coming in for a hot landing until four ki spheres spiraled towards it, weakening the attack greatly. The saiyan's attention was diverted towards Kaito, the culprit of the four spheres. A large smoke cloud formed from the impact of the ki, but as expected, Riku's blast persevered even though it was weaker and slower. The small ki blast zoomed towards the Namekian, who extended his arms towards the blast, his nails piercing through the sphere. Gnash began to dig his nails deeper into the blast, then began to part his arms. As his arms grew further apart, the sphere began split into two parts. The Namekian flung both arms away, sending the split ki sphere towards either side of the ship, where they quickly dissipated.
Riku's eyebrow arched, impressed at their resourcefulness. The saiyan glanced between the two. He could tell from their body movement that they had been running empty. Kaito breathed heavily and Gnash was sweating intensely as he fell to his knees, clearly getting exhausted. "They've been doing exceptionally well since the start of the spar. They barely know each other, and yet they have each other's backs and perform uncanny combo attacks this well... You two are really something, eh? Maybe it's time to finish this spar..." The saiyan engulfed himself in blood red aura and shot forward towards his opponents, the ki blasts shot by Kaito simply bouncing off the saiyan's aura. He was standing at both of their sides within seconds, his movement almost impossible to follow. He faced the opposite way from them and placed his hands on their shoulders.
"Well done, you two. I think this spar is pretty much finished. You've proven to be great warriors, and very resourceful. Gnash...Kaito... You make a good team, I'll give ya that. But you're both nerds compared to the Saiyan Of Darkness. Haha, jokes."

Kaito's attack had lessened the attack's lethality, as it rampaged towards Gnash. The latter put his palms one behind the other to form a blade-like formation. This way he'd split the sphere in two, slamming them onto the two opposite walls of the ship. As this happened, Kaito had gathered his remaining power and shot a barrage of Ki blasts towards Riku, who now sported a blood red aura around him. He shot towards the human and Namekian at unfathomable speed, while throwing Katio's Ki spheres away with his aura. Was this the end? Kaito had no longer the power to even lift one finger, let alone come up with a reliable counter on whatever Riku's attack was. Kaito's body started to lose altitude gradually, and so was the human's will. He had put up a great battle in his own standarts, but he wasn't able to defeat the Saiyan, even if he was handicapped.
By the time Riku appeared in front of the duo, Kaito had already landed on the chamber's white tiled floor. He looked at Gnash who had taken a considerable damage, and was still standing proudly against the Saiyan. He was a fine warrior too, who would climb up pretty quickly in terms of strength. To Kaito's surprise, Riku didn't mean any ill intention nearing them. He made up his mind to end the spar session by placing his palms on the duo shoulders. He spoke few words which Kaito was happy hearing. He was finally acknowledged by a Saiyan, and the most important of all, by a warrior way stronger than him. He also stated that him and Gnash made a great team, and joked a little in the end. Kaito raised his arm and put it on Riku's shoulder. Up until now, Riku was the strongest opponent Kaito had ever fought, and the human was pushed to his furthest limits. Breathing heavily from the fatigue, Kaito could barely but definitely speak.
"I'm honoured to hear those words from you, Riku-san. It is really an accoplishment to get praised by the Saiyan of Darkness. I enjoyed the brief battle with you and hope we will be able to fight again, hopefully as acquaintance"
Kaito felt his sweat dropping off from all over his body, his heart beating very fast and he felt like his veins would burst out rfrom his body at any moment. The human impulsively dropped himself to the ground, while catching deep breaths. He could only feel new power surging in his body.

Gnash turned his head up, eyelids retracting back into their sockets as he witnessed Riku engulf himself in a blood-red cloak of energy, effortlessly dismissing Kaito’s energy blast volley. With inscrutable speed, he disappeared into thin air. Within half a second, the Saiyan of Darkness appeared right beside both Gnash and Kaito, the palms of his hands resting against their heaving shoulders. He had just shown off the incredible amount of power he possessed, even weighted down. The Namek had half a mind to think that should he have removed his weights, he’d at least have been able to put up some sort of match against Riku, but alas. The weighted training was required.
The Namek pressed his palms against the white tiled floor, using the last bit of strength that he was able to recuperate while resting to raise himself into a standing position. He was still sucking in oxygen like a dog scarfs down food. These damned weights had really wore him out. No matter how hard he tried preserving during the battle, utilizing minimal energy attacks and even allowing Kaito to take the reigns in several locations, he was still drained in the end. They worked wonders for him, really. The supplier was correct when he said that using these would greatly assist him in training.
The Saiyan praised both Kaito and Gnash for their efforts in the spar, stating to them that they were very exceptional warriors, and how ingenious the two of them had been over the course of their battle. He went on to commend them on their excellent tag-team skills, saying that they made a great team. When Gnash actually put a thought to it, they did perform incredibly well together. They were able to play off of each other's attacks, assist each other when they were in trouble. Though Gnash received the back up more so than his human partner. The two of them combined still didn’t match up to a weighted Riku, but they managed to corner the Warrior of Death several times.
Gnash’s mind was brought forth to another thought; The energy ball in which Riku used to attack Gnash with. He named the attack, and it was extremely powerful. He called it something like.. The Bomb Of Hell. It was impressive, to say the least. From the rumors he’d heard back on Earth and from what he’s seen in tournaments on Z-TV, most well-known warriors had their own ‘signature move’. It was usually just some sort of ki-based technique that they had named, calling out the name upon usage. He wasn’t naive enough to think that creating his own technique would automatically square him up with the big dogs of the fighting universe, but it would definitely set him on the right path. He wanted something similar to what Riku had used. He already possessed an energy-wave attack which he had dubbed the ‘Apex Rifle’. It was a decent attack, sure. But he didn’t use it all that often. It barely worked against some of the weaker humans on Earth.
He needed a new change, a new technique. He turned to Riku, eyes narrowed in determination. “Riku-san.. Can you teach me how to use that Blood Bomb of yours? Or what was it called.. Hell Bomb? Butt-bomb? Booty-bomb?”

Riku removed his palms from the duo's shoulders, right when Kaito decided to put his on Riku's. The saiyan gave Kaito a warm smile before nodding at his remark of how being recognized by the saiyan was an honor. Riku turned his attention towards his Namekian friend, who began to speak of learning his ki technique. The saiyan made a blank face when the Namekian fumbled over the name of the technique, mistaking it for something named after a person's rear. The saiyan dragged his hand down his face and rolled his eyes. He nodded and jumped back a few steps.
"Alright, this technique is a serious one, so I'm gonna have to get rough on you. Of course, Kaito, if you want, you can attempt to learn this as well. Now, first, Gnash, I bring my arms above my head.."
The saiyan lifted his arms above his head in a circle form and began to charge red ki. As the ki grew his hands parted further and further, until they were about the same distance apart if there were a basketball between them. Riku floated into the sky and arched his back as he threw both arms down, flinging the red ball of ki to the ship's floor. As the attack zoomed towards the ground, it spiraled, the ki rapidly flowing through it. On impact the ki sphere dispersed, the energy becoming air. "Now, if that is the technique you wanted to learn, that was how I did it. And it's called Bomb of Hell, not butt bomb, the hell is that."

Riku gave a distinct and warm smile at Kaito, who by now had rested enough to have some of his stamina back. The human gazed at the Saiyan. He reminisced their moments back in Earth, they were stangers back then. It was funny because it hadn't been even a day since they met, but Kaito felt like he knew Riku for a long time. During this trip, they had gotten to know each other better too, though in unorthodox ways, by exchanging fists. The blondie now knew what Riku was capable of. He was too strong for both him and Gnash, even if he had worn weights. However you didn't always need to win. Sometimes learning new things is way more important than winning. Kaito felt lucky enough to have met this guy.
After few moments of silence, Gnash broke the ice. He talked about how he wanted to learn that technique Riku used earlier. "Come to think of it, that technique..." Kaito thought while scratching his forehead. That was truly a magnificent and scary technique, and so was its name. Gnash was failing horribly at remembering its name, but Kaito believed that Gnash was purposely doing this to lighten up the atmosphere. Riku asked Kaito whether he wanted this technique too. After giving it some thought, Kaito let some words out.
"I appreciate your suggestion, but I don't think I have the power to handle such technique... yet. However I will do my best to copy what you do. This way I'd gain experience for other techniques of this nature."
As he said so, Kaito took few steps back to make enough space for Riku to perform that technique once again. After the Saiyan in black successfully repeated the process and showing Kaito and Gnash how it was done, it was their turn to try it out. Kaito started out by raising his muscular arms above his head in a circling fashion. Adding up Ki in his body, and specifically in his arms, the human manifested enough Ki in between his arms to push them further apart. Kaito floated in the sky and shortly afterwards, a red basketball sized Ki sphere rested in between Kaito's arms, above his head. When he felt comfortable, Kaito shot the sphere right down at the ship's floor. Although a much weaker looking version of what Riku did, Kaito understood the gist of it. The Ki sphere exploded in process and it scattered with the air, before Kaito landed back on the floor to join Riku and Gnash again.
"How was it, guys? Did I look cool enough?" Kaito showed his shining teeth while smiling confidently.

Gnash stood straight, squaring his shoulders in Riku’s direction. He narrowed his yellow hues to the Saiyan’s dark figure. Riku had informed him that this was a serious technique, and that he needed to straighten himself out before learning it. Gnash wasn’t sure that he’d use Riku’s technique exactly, but something similar to it was his goal. The Apex Rifle had run its course, and maybe some other time in the distant future, he’d use it again. But the opportunity to learn a new skill from a much stronger individual could not be passed up. Especially if that new skill were to be even stronger than anything he currently possessed.
His eyes intentively followed Riku’s every move, watching small, translucent circles of energy appear around the palms of his hands. The outer ring of these circles had been outlined in a sizzling red border, indicating that he was charging the technique. After a few seconds more of gathering the energy necessary, his arms began to stretch further and further apart from one another. They spread out about the same length one would have to guess a basketball would fit into. Between the palms of his hands was a large ball of red energy with small torrents of black ki lashing out here and there. The Warrior of death floated up into the air, raising his arms high above his head. Before the tip of his spiky hair could poke at the top of the spaceship, he thrust his arms downwards, dismissing the energy sphere from his grasp.
The crimson energy ball spiralled towards the ground with the speed of a rocket ship, leaving several trails of a blood-red energy in its wake. Almost as soon as the bomb hit the ground, the energy dispersed into thin air, leaving no explosion and no damage to the ship behind. It was an extremely impressive technique, to say the least. A sphere of energy that you can launch towards an opponent. Much more handy than a beam, in Gnash’s opinion. Especially if he could perfect it to use one-hundred percent of his full power. That’d make it an extremely deadly maneuver.
The Saiyan of Darkness lowered himself back to the spaceship floor, words now prompting both Kaito and Gnash to try it out first. He also explained how it wasn’t called ‘The Butt-bomb’, he named it the ‘Bomb of Hell’. Befitting of his many monikers and his hellish-appearance, Gnash could understand where the naming of the technique originated from. He decided it best to allow Kaito to try it out himself, first. Before giving Riku’s actions a try, he commented on how he didn’t believe he owned enough power himself to be able to learn the technique in its entirety. Gnash thought differently, and even decided to speak up about it.
“If you train hard enough, you’ll be able to learn it. Just think, getting these maneuvers down in your mind now will help you learn it in the future, when you feel you’ve acquired enough. At the very least, you’ll be prepared.. And being prepared is never something to completely gloss over. You’re going to grow fast, Kaito-san. If you keep training at the rate you are now, you might even surpass us one day.” While directing his encouraging words towards Kaito, he held his hand out to gesture towards both himself and Riku. He thought Kaito was an exceptional warrior, one worthy of praise. He worked hard for the immense amount of power that he had already accumulated, and that didn’t fail him here today.
“I suppose it is my turn… Here we go.” Gnash spread his legs apart, keeping his feet at shoulder-length apart. He raised his arms, but instead of putting them above his head, he placed them in front of his chest. He noticed the same two positions in which Riku and Kaito used. They both only required one thing; That your palms be close together. It didn’t matter if your hands were above your head, or in front of your chest, or even behind your back. As long as you could concentrate the energy required between your palms, you would be able to perform this technique. The only problem was gathering the energy and shaping it.
He let a calm stream of air dance along his lips, the universal exercise for calming one's mind and releasing pent up anxiety. He was nervous that he’d fail at this, though failure wasn’t always a bad thing to come by. It let you know your limits and what you needed to achieve in order to work past them. He closed his eyes, his mind wandering towards the many points throughout his body where one could utilize and exude ki. One by one, from the feet up, he began closing those gateways. In his feet, in his legs, in his torso, until he reached his arms.
Small sparks of lavender colored electricity sounded off between his palms. The veins that coursed through the backs of his hands and wrists soon sprouted from their reclusive caverns, popping out against his green and pink-patterned skin. “Gngh.. You can do it Gnash. Focus on pushing your energy into your hands. Guide it towards your hands, and mold it into a sphere. Regulate your power, and control your body.” He mentally psyched himself up, moving his hands closer together. The purple electricity soon started to spiral inward towards the center of his palms, the collective energy forming a tiny, ping-pong sized sphere. “You’re doing it.. You’re doing it, now focus on increasing the amount of energy output.”
A deep growl started to form within Gnash’s chest as the energy started to vibrate his body. He couldn’t keep from at least grunting. The ping-pong sized energy ball started to grow larger and larger by the seconds as more and more purple sparks supplied it with power. Sooner rather than later, the sphere swelled up to the size of a basket-ball. Gnash’s fingers clamped down upon the ball of energy, hands jostling around as he struggled to contain the technique. He opened his eyes and immediately thrusted both of his arms in a forward motion, palms facing outwards. The purple ball of energy was blasted forth from his grasp, spiraling through the air towards the control panels. Within seconds of hitting the back of one of the chairs, it disappeared.
Gnash stood before the two, slightly panting at having expended most of his focus and spirit on developing this new technique. His lips were graced with a thin smile, hands dropping down to his sides. He looked to both Kaito and Riku, mouth gaping open to ask: “So… What do I name it?”

Riku silently awaited the two warriors to attempt the technique. However, Kaito responded with a rather upsetting set of words, saying he did not believe in his own capabilities, and saying that this technique was somewhat beyond himself. The saiyan only stared at the human, believing that this doubt was what held the human back from exerting his true power. Gnash took the words right from the saiyan's mouth, throwing some encouraging words to Kaito, telling him that if he truly tried he would be able to do it, and that Gnash believed this to be so. The saiyan in black nodded, impressed by the small pep talk given by his Namekian friend. As Kaito lifted himself into the air, Riku jumped back a few feet, watching the human replicate the process he had just demonstrated.
Riku watched closely, seeing Kaito perform the process rather well, yet having a small bit of trouble pushing out the energy. It took the human a bit longer, and the blast came out weaker, but Kaito managed to pull of the technique, like Gnash had said. Riku smiled lightly at Kaito, patting him on the back when the human landed back on the floor of the ship. They both turned towards Gnash, who acknowledged it was now his turn. The Namekian spread his legs in a wide stance, placing his hands in front of his chest. This was different from what Kaito and Riku had done, but the technique would work either way. The important part was keeping your palms close and forming your ki into a sphere shape. Riku watched closely as the Namekian began to allow his energy to flow through him, ultimately being released in his palms. As Gnash charged his ki, his palms began to part, and a ki sphere began to form. Soon, after a bit of struggle, the sphere grew to what would be considered basketball size. From here, Gnash outstretched his hands, his palms facing outward, sending the ki ball flying towards the control panels, where it dissipated.
The saiyan's eyes arched, impressed at the display of ki control Gnash had. This Namekian was truly special, and was a remarkable learner. Soon, Gnash would be able to perform techniques even stronger than Riku's Bomb of Hell. Riku put his hand to his chin when Gnash asked what to call the blast. The saiyan contemplated for a while. "Lavender Grenade...That sounds good, doesn't it, Gnash? You can throw it and it will blow up on impact, and it's a lavender color."

Gnash stepped in and started to encourage Kaito about trying the technique. The Namekian managed to say some really decent words which lifted the human's spirits, and Riku's look towards him implied that he concured with Gnash. They were right, if you continue to run away and not face off your problems, then no one will take you seriously and you won't be able to get strong. Thus, the human, encouraged by his two friends, was able to perform the technique rather nicely, however lacking in power and consequently the sphere came off as a weaker version of what Riku did. But of course, this wasn't a waste. He actually managed to perform a bigger sphere compared to his Flying Masses, for the first time ever. Kaito landed back and smiled lightly at Riku, who was patting him in his back.
"Thanks, guys. I actually think I've gotten more confident on maintaining medium sized or even bigger spheres in my hands. I pretty much think this attribute will greatly contribute on an improved version of my technique."
Now it was Gnash's turn. The Namekian calmed his mind, body and soul before spread his feet apart, firmly planting them on the chamber's white tiled floor. Namekian put his arms in front of his chest, which was a surprising aspect. He was trying to do something other than what Riku and Kaito did, and this grasped the human's interest even more. Believing in Gnash's skills, Kaito closely followed Gnash's movements. Soon after that, a purple like energy was being created in between Gnash's palms. This made Kaito realize that where you place your arms wasn't the key to the technique. All you needed was some space between your palms, and kneading as much Ki as possible, to shape a solid, and powerful sphere. By now, Gnash had floated in the air, while sporting a basketball sized purple sphere, with dark tones of eletricity lashing around it. Although he looked like he was struggling, he was doing amazingly fine to keep that gathered energy up. Gnash was slowly rising above, until he reached a specific point and stopped. The Namekian thrusted his arms forward in order to shoot the sphere, the latter traveling in fast speeds down below, but when it looked like it was finally going to hit the floor and explode, it didn't, it simply dispersed along with the air. Impressed by Gnash's performance, Kaito started to clap his hands whilst the Namekian was descending down. This guy was truly a talent and had a lot of skills, he may soon be the strongest one out of the trio.
Gnash landed and while panting, asked for the name of the technique. His words were barely audible due to him catching his breath though. Riku suggested Lavender Grenade, because it was of purple nature and of course it explodes. The human liked Riku's idea, however Kaito said that it would be better if the name involded the word buster in it, cause it looked like it was going to bust up the whole spaeceship. But it was all up to the Namekian. After all, he was the one who performed that.

As the Namekian straightened himself out, the sweat that had accumulated after exerting all of his energy into creating the new technique, his elongated ears listened in closely for both of his friends input for the technique’s name. The first one to throw a suggestion out there had been the Warrior of Death, the Saiyan of Darkness, Riku. He blurted out ‘Lavender Grenade’ with an enthusiastic tone. It was very clear that Riku himself thought that was a clever name choice, as he went on to explain why he chose it. It was a shade of lavender, and Gnash could launch the sphere towards his opponent and have it explode upon impact. It was a solid naming scheme, but not exactly what Gnash was looking for. To him, it just sounded a bit too.. Generic.
He then turned his head towards the human Kaito, who had practiced a move of his own. He said that it should, at the very least, contain the word ‘Buster’. That rang more of a bell within the Namek’s head. Not only did he believe ‘Buster’ to be a cool word, but it was less generic than Grenade, and at the same time all too plain. It was a perfect blend. Though, ‘Buster’ by itself wouldn’t cut it. He needed something else. Something to possibly throw in front of it. He let his eyes arch over in their sockets, bringing his fist to his chin as he pondered for a moment or two. There was a specific word he’d heard his old master use for one of his attacks.. It had something to do with an old folklore. Some old God or Titan, something of that sort.
“My old master.. He had an attack that used some old God or Titan’s name.. I can’t remember what it was, though. I know for a fact that it started with an ‘H’.. Hades.. Helios.. No. Neither of those. It was something like Hypnos.. No. Not Hypnos. Definitely not Hypnos. Hy-.. Hype.. Hyperion? Hyperion! It was Hyperion Beam! That’s it. That’s what I’m using.” He turned his head to Kaito, eyes narrowed in on the human’s. He reached forward to pat him on his left shoulder, letting a smile take his lips over as a silent thanks to him for helping come up with the technique name. He then turned back to Riku, instead offering a sympathetic nudge. “Sorry Riku-san, but I have to go with… Hyperion Buster!”
