Fate looked down at the picture of the man he was looking for again. The wanted poster only showed the mans face, but that alone allowed Fate to determine who he was. His human brother Apol. The reward was for 1,000,000 Zeni, Fate didn't care about the reward. He wasn't gonna collect it, he just wanted to finish off Apol.
Fate and Apol had been separated for years. Ever since their parents split up. Zeus took custody over Apol, and Cele, took custody of Fate. The two weren't really close anyway. Aplo was more like their father, he wanted a normal life. He studied a lot to become successful in the future, Fate however would slack off and train instead. Apol valued order, disciple, and knowledge above all else. Fate valued freedom, power, and combat. The two couldn't be more different. What Apol lacked in physical strength he made up for in knowledge. He was a natural born genius. He loved to build things, especially robots. It could be a Cyborg, Android, or Robot he didn't care. He would be fascinated with it. He would stay in his room studying such things for weeks, if not months. Their father encouraged Apol's behavior, scolding Fate for not being more like him. Cele, on the other hand would scold Apol for not being like Fate. She would encourage Fate, but looked down on Apol. Apol got their father's love, while Fate got their mother's.
But they did interact a lot before their family split. Apol would often build a robot or machine and test is on Fate. Fate didn't really care due to a deal the two made. As long as Apol could test his machines and experiments on Fate, Fate could use the training room Apol built for Fate and their mother. However after their parents split up and each took a child they began to distance themselves from one another. Apol become more and more like Zeus. Fate became more and more like Cele. Until they outright stopped communicating. Apol actually began to resent Fate and Cele a bit. Then after finding out that Fate had killed their father he outright hated him. He began a quest of vengeance, trying to kill Fate to right the wrong sort of. Fate felt that Apol had conspired with Zeus, while Apol felt Fate had always wanted to kill their father. The two clashed quite a bit during the eight year gap between their parents death and now. Apol would use his technological genius, while Fate would use his superior physical and mental strength. Technology versus Saiyan might.
Fate won a lot of their clashes due to his superior tactics and strategy. Apol would have to constantly upgrade his robots A.I. in order to match his brothers rather unpredictable fighting pattern. He eventually began to develop the ultimate tech based warriors.....Androids. Yet he only managed to make ten of them before his factory, lab, and company (A face he used to gain money.) were all destroyed by Fate. It would turn out that his androids weren't even complete when Fate began his assault. After that encounter Fate left Apol in a near-death condition. Apol having no other chance (He could have just trained since he was a half-Saiyan as well, but he, being like their father, refused to do so.) converted himself into an Android.
Now he does nothing but cause ruckus everywhere trying to draw out Fate. In which he would get the crud beaten out of, and would go to what was left of his lab to further enhance himself. Heroes would rise and try to defeat the madman only to be killed of heavily injured due to their attempt to keep Apol alive. Which would lead them to hold back, not like they stood a chance to begin with. Now he was causing yet another ruckus in the North Capitol to draw Fate out once more. This time for the final battle.
"Finally, you've arrived.....brother." Apol said.
"I'm getting tired of you Apol, this time I'll make sure you stay down." Fate said as he got into a fighting stance.
The two charged at each other, Apol throwing a punch at Fate's face. The punch was intercepted and Fate countered with a punch to Apol's gut, knocking him back a few feet. The him proceeded to knee Apol in the the face, spin around him and blasted him in the back thus sending him flying into a building.
"No! I should be stronger than you now!"
"Strength means nothing, if your opponent can move faster than you can process."
"Why you!" Apol yelled as he charged at Fate once more. He threw a punch at Fate who simply sidestepped to the right, pulled out his sword, and 'disarmed' Apol. Said android yelled in pain as his right arm was severed, that scream only last a few seconds before Fate decapitated him. His body dropped like a rock, his head following suit.
"I don't play around with those weaker than me, and I show no mercy to those who attempt to kill me."
As Fate turned around he heard his brothers voice call out.
"N-n-no, how are you so strong. How could you beat me so easily." The dismembered head said.
"Do you really think I've neglected my training? I've grown a lot stronger since our last match Apol. Besides unlike the other so called 'heroes' you've fought, I have no reason to hold back. I fight until my opponent either surrenders or dies."
"Y-y-y-you, I'll find a way to kill you one day." Apol said as Fate put his foot above Apol's head.
"I don't think so." Fate said simply as he crushed Apol's head and vaporized his body.
Fate had the same emotionless look as killed his brother. Years of solitude after watching your mother die, and then killing your father will do that to a person. Fate was no exception. It was one of his weaknesses. No care for the loss of life. A weakness that could be exploited by those who know what they're doing.
{Yes, I know it was a short fight . I really wanted to get Fate and Apol's history out of the way, and make a little training session. So I combined them into one thread.}
