”Is it done? Like… repaired completely? I don’t have time to fuck around this time!”
”Yes, M’am. They didn’t suspect anything while we were repairing the navigation failure. Currently, it’s graveyard with the least workers.”
Hiding in plain site, Zerori had used her Memory Materialization to change her attire to the saiyan armor she’d kept for safe keeping. She didn’t really expect to use it here but… perhaps her luck was just coming full circle. From the safety of her scouter, cleverly modified by her magic to appear like a helmet over her head to be unrecognizable, she was coordinating the release of her ship so she could get the fuck off this planet and back on course. With that last transmission, she was free to move toward the ship now.
As she made her way across the port towards ‘The Descent’, she noticed with a nervous swallow that some of her crew were speaking with a couple of enforcers and Articho… wasn’t there anymore. His power signature was just gone and she’d locked it in to be sure of his location. Scanning the area, Zerori searched for his specific power level – to no avail. I don’t want to leave him, but… fuck! He knew the risks! I’ll find him after I’ve left and reassessed my options! Hurrying her pace toward the ship, she walked up the ramp and inside before any of the enforcers knew what was going on.
As she passed by a crew member that glared in her general direction, she would make a gesture towards the door that led into the halls before continuing forward.
The fish-faced officer gave her a strange expression before he tentatively followed her.
Once out of sight of any saiyans whom were working to stop her, Zerori waved a hand over the circuit on her left arm. As the helmet faded away in a mess of data, she let out a gasp of relief – effectively freaking out the zoonamite before mussing up her hair, “God, that was stifling! If I didn’t shelve the ‘Red Doll’, I would have used the helmet instead of this! Can’t-fucking-breathe and shit…” She turned to the zoonamite as it gaped, uncertain of what it just witnessed.
“C-Captain Zerori?”
“Yes, c’mon. We got shit to do. Any saiyans on board?”
“U-UH, yeah a couple. They’re not very s-strong, though.”
“Good. I’m going to need them,” She turned around to go back down the hall towards the lift. Pressing the scouter with one hand, she called for the officer on bridge, “Seal the doors and start a course towards that strange occurrence. Use any unnatural biological matter in the nearest sector and set a course.”
”C-Captain. You’re on board safely?”
“Ugh, Kringe! Now!”
“Right away,” As much as he annoyed her, she was glad that he’d apparently taken the bean she offered him when they’d landed on Vegeta. Apparently, he didn’t like the idea of dying in Saiyan-controlled space.
Now… about those saiyans…
