"So, this is where you spent all day the other day." said the large Simian female as she looked upon the vessel hidden within the Temple. Brassica rubbed the back of her head and gave a nervous chuckle. "Yeah... don't know if it will fly, but for now that's not why I've got it." said the Saiyan before she led her adoptive sister into the massive ship, a large circle of metal descending on invisible air that served as a means of entering and exiting the ship for those that could not fly, such as Jul'ica. "This place is massive!" cooed the Simian warrioress as they walked down the corridors and hallways of the vessel.
"Not all of its working yet, the engines not quite up to snuff... but, in time I should be able to get it fully operational." she said to her sister before they arrived at a central chamber wherein stood a massive sphere encircled by several metal bands. "This is what I wanted to show you... it's an artificial gravity field generator." said Brassica before going on to explain. "Basically it makes whoevers inside feel much heavier." Jul'ica rubbed a hand on the cold metal. "So by training in something heavy, you get faster and stronger. This is why you've been out collecting parts and scraps from those invaders ships eh?" she asked, the Saiyan Goddess nodding.
"That's right. Want to give it a shot?" she asked, a mischievous smirk spreading across both their faces. With a firm nod they both entered the chamber, the door sealing behind them. "Right, going to get it up to speed with what the device registers as being ten times gravity..." said Brassica, the bands around the sphere beginning to hum and speed up as they activated. Jul'ica grunted as she braced herself against the increased gravity. "I trained all day in this the other day... this is the gravity of my birth home." explained Brassica before feeling a tail tapping her shoulder. She blinked at Jul'ica's progress, already looking at home in this increased gravity.
"Let's go higher then sister." was the Simian's response to the Saiyan, who smirked and nodded as she adjusted the device. The bands around the sphere began to spin around it much more swiftly, increasing their pace and speed, the gravity inside the sphere increasing as the speed did. "This is times twenty gravity." said Brassica, rolling her shoulders as the gravity stabilised at twenty times increased gravity. There was a faint bit of rattling, but it soon faded away as the rings kept themselves stable at the speeds they were spinning. "Doing alright there?" asked the Saiyan of her adopted sister as she felt the air weighing down far more heavily against her.
"Oh I'm doing just fine." came the smirking tone of Jul'ica, causing Brassica to raise an eyebrow as she looked towards her adopted sister, frowning before growling at the Simian female. "You... You knew... You've already..." she began to accuse, Jul'ica's smirk and chuckling confirming her theory. "Yeah well, it's a little hard to hide this from me. I did help you make this place. Especially when you turned on this ship, it shook the temple a little. So when I came down to investigate, I saw you in action the other day... sooo..." she admitted. "So when I left, you stepped in... how far did you go?" she asked her sibling.
"I pushed it up to that fifth marking there." said the Simian, pointing at a sigil on the Gravity Chamber control console. Brassica blinked at the admittance before shaking her head and chuckling. "Of course you did... well, let's get this underway then eh?" she asked before beginning to slowly run around the sphere's interior. Jul'ica snirked before following along with her, easily keeping pace and even at times mockingly going ahead of her several times as if to spur her on harder. "You are such a bitch." growled the Saiyan Goddess, the Simian only chuckling as she ran on ahead of her sister, forcing Brassica to try and run faster in an attempt to catch up to her.
The Saiyan Goddess' breath came to her in short bursts of air as she ran, finding herself slowly adapting to the gravity around her, her speed steadily increasing... along with her exhaustion in trying to keep up with the Simian. Jul'ica smirked before starting to swing her tail towards Brassica, who leaned her body backwards in an attempt to dodge the furry appendage that was aiming for her head. The tail missed her by a hair, and Brassica fell onto her back before she then rolled to the side as her guard tried to slam a foot right into the spot where she had been but moments ago. "You... are... such a... bitch!" growled the Saiyan towards her Simian sister, the latter only chuckling in response before she threw several punches towards her Goddess.
Brassica put herself into a cross-guard form, the punches landing against her arms with excessive force and power and after the first three landed, she decided to duck low, using her ability to fly to her advantage. Her legs wouldn't have been fast enough for what she desired, so instead she swooped low to deliver a punch inside of Jul'ica's guard. The Simian grunted as the blow connected, but then smirked as she brought her hands together into a single fist which she then brought down on Brassica's back, forcing the wind out of her and to the ground. "Too slow sister mine." purred Jul'ica before she squeaked in surprise as Brassica's tail wrapped around her leg and pulled her to the ground, the Saiyan quickly leaping up onto her chest and pinning her arms down.
"Too slow sister mine." Brassica repeated, her chest heaving from the strain on her body trying to keep the much larger female down on the floor. Both of them stared at one another for a few seconds before bursting into fits of laughter, the Saiyan rolling off of the Simian, the both of them laying side by side inside the gravity chamber. Brassica listened to the faint humming of the engines rumbling that powered this chamber and more besides before looking to her adopted sister. "Why?" she asked, Jul'ica chuckling at the question. "Cus I don't want to fall behind... you're in here, in case something comes that you can't handle... what sort of bodyguard, or sister, would I be if I couldn't even help you a little?" asked the larger Simian, the answer causing Brassica to look up at the ceiling in thought.
"Jul... when that day comes, I want to fight it by myself... it'll be bloody, it'll be horrifying... and if something went wrong... I need to know that you could get everyone out safely whilst I dealt with it." confided the Goddess in her sister, the Simian looking at Brassica for a time before sighing and nodding. "Sure thing Brass... sure thing." she said before looking around the chamber. "So... this place is your back up huh? In case things got too rough, bring them all in here?" asked the Simian warrior, the Saiyan nodding in reply. "That's right. Only as a last resort mind you... I don't know how tough the ships armour is, and the engine still needs working on to get this ship to its full power... but for now, it can power this gravity chamber, and maybe... maybe fly if I pushed it hard enough." she said with a frown, not quite willing to contemplate such a possibility for the future.
The thought that they may have to actually evacuate this world and run to somewhere else... it stuck in her craw a bit. Her pride as a Saiyan, as a warrior, as a Goddess forbade her from considering running away from anything less than a natural disaster such as an eruption or an earthquake. To run from a mortal threat... it didn't feel right whatsoever. Not to mention the sheer upheaval it could cause by trying to transplant the Simians from here to another world... where would they even go to if it came to it? Not Vegeta, they would think her offering the Simians to the SSE as potential slaves... Earth she wasn't sure would accept another species into its fold, especially not one that would be classed as so primitive in comparison. Namek would've been a good choice, if it was still around. Definitely nowhere in Arcosian space that was for certain.
She sighed before finding her chest getting smacked by Jul'ica's tail. "Alright, that's enough inner thinking and rest. Time to get back to training." said the Simian, offering Brassica a hand up. The Saiyan Goddess smirked before accepting the help to her feet. "Yeah. Lets get to it." she said, before taking a swing at Jul'ica's chest with her fist, the Simian responding in kind with a kick towards Brassica's guts. It was going to be a long day of training.
