Thread PL: 165,230. Heavy weights on. Weighted PL: 41,307. ( Ichiba) Raisu stood among a cropping of boulders, ki raging inside him. Here he was again, trying to destroy some rocks for the sake of getting stronger. Why was it always rocks with him? It wasn’t as if they made for particularly compelling targets. They were just so abundant, it was hard not to use them for such purposes. And for what is worth, they made good shows of what kind of power he was actually exerting. Not many people could completely shatter a rock. Well, plenty could, but certainly not the majority of earth’s population. Raisu had to figure that if you could divide the world up into percentages, he would come around the top ten or so percent of people organized by physical strength. Come to think of it, so would most people he knew these days. But that was enough of that. Raisu still had to further refine this technique he’d been working on: his Concussive Fist. Hard to believe he’d come up with this when he was fighting a demon. Raisu at least had the time to really deconstruct the technique now. It was fairly basic, really. Raisu gathered ki into his fist and used it to punch instead of shoot, if he was breaking it down into the simplest terms he could. But the way he’d done it before was just so inefficient. He could do better than what he’d come up with before. It was just a matter of taking this technique and really making it work. And so Raisu began to let the ki flow into his fist. In a moment, it was humming with the power of ki, ready to be let loose. Raisu stood there for a moment, focusing. It seemed alright so far. Nothing wrong with how the energy was holding, and it seemed to be in a better spot than it was before. Now just to see how it might perform. In a burst of speed, Raisu rounded on his feet and swung the ki charge fist into one of the boulders nearby. Time seemed to stop as the ki infused fist glided through the air and eventually smashed into the boulder. Raisu could feel the transferal of force and ki, the power leaving his body to work its destructive effects on the chunk of rock. And it did. The rock crumbled beneath his blow and chunks shot outward as the force of the ki caused it to rupture all over itself. It crumbled to heap at his feet and Raisu nodded his approval. Yes, he was quite happy with the refinement of this technique. But he wasn’t done yet. He had to prove he could do it consistently. And so the ki entered and hummed in his fist as he quickly changed targets, smashing another nearby boulder. And then he did the same again and again, each ki-enhanced blow coming with rapid succession. Boulder after boulder collapsed beneath his attacks, and there was no stopping Raisu now. He was on a roll, testing out his newly minted attack. Finally, most of the boulders were rubble, save for one. Raisu stopped his rampage and wiped the sweat from his brow. Now that felt good, he thought. A workout always did. And while his Concussive Fist was not perfected yet, it was certainly in a better spot than it was when he started. For now, Raisu mounted the remaining boulder and laid back against it. The air around him felt good, and the stone beneath him was nice and cool. Perhaps he would sit here and watch the clouds take their shape and roll by until he fell asleep. Yes, that sounded nice. Of course, that was assuming no one came across him. He had certainly been putting out a lot of ki. And probably a lot of noise as well. “Oh well…” Raisu whispered to himself. He would welcome the distraction. Flying high above the clouds never gets better especially when you are on a mission! Ichiba was soaring through the air on the hunt for his father; 'the mountains' he thought 'were a great place for a training vacation....a traincation!' Ichiba's black hood was waving about as the air was hitting his hair directly, the sun beaming down onto his bare neck. It was truly a nice day and finally Ichi had a lead! Several loud rumbles echoed throughout the land....it sounded like explosions? A jolt of thought erupted through Ichi's mind 'IS THAT.....DAD!!!!!!!!!!' Ichiba's black aura ignited even more as he picked up pace in the air, it truly was an amazing break.
The rumbling explosions continued as Ichiba attempted to locate the source of said noise. He flew through the air even faster than before, his white hair shining in the sunlight as his red eyes twinkled with anxiety and excitement. However, when he was finally getting close the rumbling had stopped; oh no he had lost his chance, but maybe....."DAAAD!!!!!!!!! COME OUT COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE!!!" Ichiba's black aura ignited even more in the sky light. He flew over a clearing in the rocky area were several boulders lay, in a panic he continued yelling out as he stopped above the clearing,"DAD....COME OUT!" Ichi began to get slightly frustrated, agitated he had to do something to make himself noticeable and he only knew one thing that would do. His black aura parted as his hand moved upwards, a small ball of ki gathered in his hand morphing into a black red hue, pulsating slightly. This was his only chance he would find his dad.

Raisu's eyes closed for a moment and his forehead crinkled. What was that he had felt? Ki energy? A small signature, compared to some he'd met before, but certainly much larger than the average human's. Interesting, he thought. Now to wonder if they had been attracted by his Raisu's own show of power, or if they were just passing by. Either way, Raisu did not recognize the signature, even if it was similar in size to those he'd met before.
With a sigh, Raisu pulled himself up from where he had been laying. He'd best go check it out. It was odd. The ki pattern was consistent with someone who was charging up. Yes, it would be best if he got to the bottom of this. Raisu stretch, cracking his joints and shoulders. And he was just about to fall asleep, too. Maybe after he figured this out he could find some place to nap.
Raisu took to the air, the wind tossing his red hair about. Flying was always fun, and this time was no different. At least he wasn't being attacked. Yet. It gave him the chance to admire the wasteland beneath him. It seemed to stretch for miles and miles. It was lovely. The last time he was here, he'd walked across it. Now, he could admire it in full.
Raisu came closer to the ki source, close enough to see it now. Was that a child? Charging a ki attack?
"What in the Hell..." Raisu whispered to himself.
Raisu drew ever closer, close enough to shout across the way. Time to see what this kid was up to. It was like he was sending off some kind of signal, inviting people in. Kids, he thought, were getting weirder everyday. This was, what, that third or fourth child he had met like this in a short while? The world has gone mad, he thought. Why wasn't this kid in school? Or playing? Or doing anything besides radiating ki in the sky?
"Hey, kid!" Shouted Raisu. "What are you doing?"

Someone was here and Ichi knew it, wether it would be his father or someone else he would have to find out. He continued charging the ball of ki in his hand as it began to pulsate a red hue. This someone to Ichiba's disappointment wasn't his father, but instead a man confronting him. In reply to the man's inquiry Ichiba spoke in a slightly agitated tone,"SIR, Are you the one who was causing that rumbling!" Ichi needed an answer and just waiting for it made him more and more anxious and agitated. Moreover negative thoughts floated through his head 'You already know what happened to your father don't ya' 'Just give up kid and go back home to your mommy'. Thinking hurt, his head hurt, he couldn't stand the thought of his father leaving him. His agitation now became more visible as he began to groan slightly in anger and his voice became more harsh, "I don't care anymore!!! Your a waste of my time" Ichiba would then begin to point his hand holding the ball of ki at the infuriating man. The ball of ki in his hand slowly pulsating even further, the beats picking up rapidly.

Oh, it was an angry child. Raisu sighed. Just what he needed. Well, there goes that nap he was hoping to get in. Maybe if he ended the situation quickly, he could... No, best if he just let the kid work it out. That was the best way to do this. Always worked when Raisu was young, even if only temporarily.
"Yeah, I was causing the rumbling."
Raisu flew even closer to the boy, despite the ball of ki that was threatening him. If this was the extent of his power, Raisu had nothing to fear from it. It was just a tantrum. Maybe he could find out why the boy was upset once he calmed down, help him out a bit. Raisu couldn't let an angry kid fly around with ki abound. It was downright irresponsible.
"So, are you gonna attack me or not? Because if you are, I'd like if you'd just get it over with. Then maybe we can talk this out."

As the man in front of him admitting to be the one causing the ruckus Ichi's blood began to boil, he was so close so close only to have this guy kill all the hope he had. So close just to have this complete stranger prove him wrong. SO CLOSE just to have his entire dream, his yearning brutally murdered. Ichiba couldn't take it, he hated it. 'Why must the world be so cruel' The ball of ki in his hand slowly began to dissipate as his hand clenched into a fist. A feeling of helplessness washed over Ichiba as he looked at the man straight in his eyes, Ichiba's crimson eyes becoming slightly muddied as he is on the verge of crying. He slowly began descending towards the ground below, tears welling up in his eyes. His father was gone and he could do nothing about it.

There we go, thought Raisu. Now it was working itself out. Raisu could not help but feel sympathetic for the child. Raisu had had his fair share of rages when he was young. It was hard to be like that. Raisu floated down beside him and joined him in his descent. Was the kid crying? Poor guy, thought Raisu, to be young and have powers like this. If Raisu had been as strong as he was when he was a child, he’d have caused a lot more destruction than he had.
"So, kid, you wanna tell me what's wrong? Sometimes it's easier to tell a stranger."
Was that weird? Maybe, but he was trying to help the kid.

The whole situation was odd Ichiba had never really been so indecisive, but after the lose of his father he just broke. He had to tell it to someone to get it off his chest....no his heart. It ached, yearned for repair so Ichi began wiping his tears and clearing his throat as he spoke, "I'm sorry its....its...just that I can't find my father....he....he....he left I think" The word 'left' began to vibrate through Ichi's head bouncing back and forth through his subconscious, 'Dad.....left.....left me? He went............where.......?' His throat yet again began to close slightly as tears welled up in his eyes streaming down his check. It hurt to talk it hurt to think, the pain, the stress it all hurt. He was so helpless powerless even if he wanted to HE COULD DO NOTHING! The tears fell even faster down his cheek he couldn't bare it any longer he had to let out something a plea for help, " I think....I think......something happened to him" It was odd saying those words lifted a weight of his shoulders however they brought on a weight twenty times heavier. He needed something to calm himself down...to remember his father.
Ichiba reached into and the end of his black jacket lifting it up slightly as the white tail wrapped inside came undone, it immediately fell towards the back of him drooping low towards the ground. This tail was similar to his father's he would always stare at it with awe when he and his father used to train. But his was different his was imperfect, not only did it not work, but it also was a strangely a whitish hue unlike his father's brown tail. A smile appeared on his face as he stared down at his tail, however tears continued to stream down his cheeks and they didn't look like they would stop anytime soon. Ichi spoke softly "Mister,...how do you get over loss?" As he stared down at his tail he realized his tail brought another curse with it.
It was the same color as his mother's hair, the same color of the hair he saw that night. His mind completely shut down for a moment as he attempted to block out his thoughts, to shut off his mind completely. He instead decided to focus on something else to help forget about the bad memory, the nightmare. He stared down on the ground as his tears wet the soil, each little drop forming it's own patch of saturated dirt.
Quickly just wanted to mention just for the fluidity the "..." are meant to be sniffles x.x

So his dad was missing. A shame. Missing dads sucked, Raisu understood that much. Though in Raisu’s case, maybe it was for the best. Damn, he thought. To be young and have to go through that. At least Raisu didn't have to go through the separation phase with his.
What surprised Raisu even more was the tail: a tail like his, but white. A Saiyan tail. The kid was a Saiyan, or at least a half blood. That would explain the temper. Which would make him even more like Raisu. Now Raisu had found himself in a potential minefield. He didn't know anything about this kid. Raisu didn't know the kid's life or anything. He had to be careful how he spoke to him. How to deal with loss?
"Uh," began Raisu. This was hard. "I try and dedicate myself to something. Like, something to keep me busy."

"Dedicate myself, to what? What do you do Mister?" Ichiba had calmed down slightly from before and his voice reflected that. He realized something about this man, he seemed to be all on his own in this wasteland Ichi began to ponder what the man was doing here or even who he was 'I wonder maybe......he is all alone too.......or maybe he is just training, that would explain the rumbling, however training was always better with someone else' Ichiba didn't know what to thing about the man in front of him that had somehow quelled his rage, but it can't hurt to ask. "By the way mister what would your name be, and what caused all that rumbling awhile ago...what were you doing?" Somehow the man had become Ichiba's man focus he had become the center of his attention. He lifted his head towards the man very frantically as he realized that he forgot to tell the man his name"Oh uh...I'm sorry for asking so much of you when you don't even know my name, I'm Ichiba, but you can call me Ichi." Ichi was not used to meeting new people as he only knew the people he had meet in his small town. However it was nice to get to know new people and it seemed that he was taking interest in the man that stood before him.

A lot of words and so quickly. The boy had a lot to say. Ichiba, he corrected himself, had a lot to say. Raisu put it down to a child's natural curiosity. Now to answer all his questions.
"I'm Raisu. It is very nice to meet you Ichi," Raisu said softly, using a voice reserved for children and animals. Best to talk in measured tones, Raisu figured. He didn’t want to risk upsetting the boy again.
"And yes, I was training. I thought it was a nice day for it"
Raisu grinned. It had been, indeed. Hopefully he could still get that nap in.
"And, uh, you could dedicate yourself to whatever makes you happy."

"Raisu huh....sounds like a super duper cool guy" He chuckled slightly at his own cleverness, every now and then you needed a little laugh and right now was a perfect time. "Training....I used to do that a lot, but I stopped when.....when...." Ichiba frowned slightly as he was reminded by his father however he decided that now wasn't the time!
"I COULD DEDICATE MYSELF TO NAPPING" Ichi yelled out he seemed more chipper with each passing word from....Raisu "Or maybe we can do some training; that would be awesome I hope your really really strong!" Training always made Ichi happier it allowed him to clear all his thoughts and only focus on one thing, FIGHTING.

Training? So the kid was clearly in touch with his Saiyan blood. Raisu wasn't sure whether to smile or frown at his enthusiasm, though. Training lead, usually, to fighting. And Ichiba was just a kid. Yes, a kid with an impressively high ki signature, but still a kid. Did he really understand what he was doing? It was hard to say. It had been a long time since Raisu had seen things through the eyes of a child. But Hell, if it made the kid happy...
"Sure, we can train together. Maybe you can show me a thing or two, sport."
Raisu laughed. Man, he thought, kids today are crazy.

It had been a long time since Ichi trained, however it always made him happy. And today was the perfect day for some hard core fun! Ichi began to ponder actually how strong...the man......Raisu was well A. he could fly and B. he caused those loud explosions earlier. Ichi cupped his hand as he moved it towards his chin. "Mr.Rai, can you show me some of your power, I don't wanna train with someone weaker than me" he chuckled slightly as he moved his other hand slightly behind him, his index finger extended, "I wanna see you blow up that rock over there!" Well, it wasn't really a rock more a boulder however either way Ichi would be able to test Raisu's strength.

A rock? A pretty simple task for someone like Raisu. Raisu had been breaking rocks for as long as he could remember. They made for great target practice, as he'd established earlier today. Something like this would be a simple task, especially for what Raisu was about to do.
"Sure, kid, a rock is no sweat."
Raisu through up his arm and braced it at the elbow with the other. A mass of white energy was already forming in the palm of his hand, crackling with lightning-like power and raging like a forest fire. It was the strongest form of his Starlight Beam, the centerpiece of his arsenal. He would not just blow it up; He would completely annihilate. The beam was raging in his palm, begging to be let loose. It was like a hunting dog that had caught the scent of prey, but had not yet been loosed by its master.
Finally, Raisu let the beam strike. It flew towards the boulder like a flash, the wide berth of the beam engulfing the boulder as a stream of white energy consumed it. The beam raged for a short few moments, but finally cleared. When the beam stopped, nothing remained of the boulder.
"How's that, Ichi? Strong enough for you?"
