Raisu shot the beastboy a thumb's up. Good, thought Raisu. He had some talent. It was refreshing to see enthusiasm these days. It was nice to help teach people. Maybe he could make something of it...
"That's excellent, kid! I'd say you're on the fast track with it."
Raisu grew the size of the orb in his own hand and tossed it away where it exploded in the ground nearby. It was a small one, but dust still flew around the impact zone.
"Keep focusing! Make it bigger, put more of yourself into it!"

Chili grinned up at Raisu as he was praised, his energy orb fluctuating in his hand as he lost focus for a moment. His mind snapping back to it before he lost it completely. This was a little strenuous though and had the pup's muscles feeling pretty tense.
He observed as the energy grew in his instructors hand and then was tossed like a grenade only to erupt into the earth itself. Chili opened his mouth in surprise at the actual site of one of those ki moves going off in person. Turning his attention back to Raisu as he gave more instructions.
"More of myself? Like... more of my energy? I dunno If I've ever done that but I'll sure give it a shot." Attempting to find more energy within him then what was just circulating, it was not usual for the canine to have to find more. But he dug deep trying to find it further and further through his channels. But it wasn't too easy. His eyebrows furrowed as he ground his teeth. "This is a little harder then I thought!" he grunted.

Raisu grinned at the boy. He was glad to see that the boy was putting some real effort in. Effort would take him far some day, so long as he kept up with it. Raisu took a knee and put himself on eye level with the boy.
"I think you're doing great. Just keep practicing every day and you'll get it in no time, I promise."
Raisu pulled himself back up and dusted the dirt from his knee. The boy likely had interesting things in store for him. Hopefully nothing dangerous, but if it did come to that, Raisu had the odd feeling that he would be fine.
"Just remember, keep practicing. Practice makes perfect, after all. Well," he said, taking a small pause between words, "I guess it's more like 'practice makes improvement'. If that makes sense."

Chili kept his eye on the ball or energy in his palm and then released it, letting it disperse as he looks up at the pink jacketed man. He nodded his head in agreement "That's what my Master told me too, that's how it always is." Looking back at his paw "I didn't get good at transformation without a lot of practice too."
"I'll keep it up though!" he jumps back to his feet and looks Raisu in the eye. "I'll keep practicing so next time you see me I can show you." His tail was wagging wildly, he did want to prove to his new friend that he could definitely master these Ki abilities.
He bows before him "But I thank you for that tip. I'm glad I've come across you Raisu."

Raisu returned the bow. So respectful, he thought. Maybe the kids of today weren't so bad after all. Or maybe they were, and Raisu had just found one of the good ones. He smirked. Damn, he thought, it was like he was an old man. Raisu was only nineteen. Twenty in a few months. He shouldn't be thinking about stuff from this perspective. But maybe his training had made him old beyond his years. It certainly did not make him wise beyond them.
"It was good to meet you, too. And good! Next time we meet, I wanna see how you've progressed. I think you'll have made a world of progress..."
Raisu stepped back and grinned at the boy once again. Raisu was all smiles today. A rarity. A shame that some things would kill his smile, but that's just how the world turned. And the worlds beyond this one, too. Raisu's grin became almost forlorn. He'd wanted to visit other planets, but Earth kept him busy. Maybe someday...
No, for now he shook his head. No need to kill his mood like this.
"Well, Chili, I'll let you get back to what you were doing. Take it easy! And if you're ever down in the islands, feel free to stop by and say 'hi'!"
(You wanna call that a thread? After your own exit, or further posts, of course.)

Chili nods his head and throws out one of his stubby arms to pop up a thumb from his furry paw. "You got it Ki Master. I'll definitely come visit. Hopefully when I get that flying thing down." Chili looked over the man again, he couldn't be certain how strong his pink jacketed teacher was but he could only hope to match that one day.
Adjusting his cap once again so the wind wouldn't carry it off he turned back towards the road he had been following down the mountain. "Be careful with your hike as well. Farewell for now!" he stuck a boot outwards and began the long march into his journey once more.
(Yeah seems like an appropriate place to stop. Make your exit and I'll add it to t2g?)

"See you later!" Raisu said happily as he stepped around the boy and continued on the way. So many interesting folks these days. There was never really a shortage of people about him these days. It seemed he couldn't go two feet without bumping into someone new, or some face he'd met before. Not that he mined. It was always interesting to meet new people. Yes, people like Chili. Though he doubted it, perhaps he would meet something even more interesting on his hike. But what is more interesting than a beastman who could turn into an axe? Raisu would be hardpressed to find something like that. But he had his entire hike to think about it.
(Thread exit. Good thread, Chili! I'll be taking Zeni for this one!)

Chili -- 12,738 + 3416 = 16,154 PL
Raisu -- 31,039 + 2646 = 33,685 Z
