(Thread PL: 84,540. Heavy weights on. Weighted PL: 21,135) ( Helici) Raisu had returned to the Bamboo Forest for another walk. It was a lovely place, so peaceful. He whistled alongside the birds as he walked, though his tune was not as melodic of the birdsong. A shame, really, because the tunes of the birds were quite nice. If only he could match them, he’d be significantly happier. But for now, he would content himself by walking through the forest and enjoying the song for what it was. He’d always had such interesting encounters within this forest, some more violent than others. Such as his encounter with the hybrid Articho, the one trying so hard to achieve the legendary state of Super Saiyan. When they had met, the two had engaged in a brief conversation, but it had been enlightening. It had been a pleasure to speak with another hybrid, if only for a moment. It was comforting knowing he wasn’t the only one alone in such struggles. He’d never met one before he had met Articho, and fullbloods just didn’t understand how it felt. Of course, the hybrid had spoken as to what strength is and what to do with it. Perhaps their brief encounter had influenced Raisu more than he cared to admit. Had Articho ever attained Super Saiyan? Raisu hoped so. And then there was his encounter with the Arcosian, Polar. Now that had been more chaotic. The Arcosian had crash landed on Earth after the Saiyan’s had invaded the Arcosian Empire. Raisu had just been walking through the forest when Polar’s ki signature had burst in the air above him. Raisu had watched as his pod crashed into the forest and ran after him, intending to help. It hadn’t been the most cordial of initial meetings. The Arcosian had been understandably upset and confrontational. Though, they parted ways on good terms after the two had thought a small squad of Blue Banner Army soldiers. And they’d even recently met again, but that was for another time. But it left Raisu wondering who he might encounter in the Bamboo Forest today. Hopefully it would be incredibly interesting, if he met anyone at all.

It had taken quite some time, but after what seemed like months of crossing oceans, stopping to sleep on small islands dotting them, Letu Cornelia Eran Revele had arrived in the Eastern Lands. And, almost right away, she felt yet another strong Saiyan presence. Jeez. Three for three so far. It was interesting to her to find as many Saiyans as she had already. Yeah, she had learned a lot from Tomoroko, and had been interested by the second person she met, but this was much more interesting. This was a middle ground between Tomo's relatively high power level and the other mans extremely high power level. So, cutting her way through Bamboo, she felt the weight of Saiyan Ki become lighter, and the distinct sense eventually became a slight weight atop the typical pressure she felt when she sensed Ki. After a while of cutting through thick groves of Bamboo, Letu began to wonder why she kept chasing after notably high power levels. So far, it had ended decent for her, true. She hadn't had to fight someone she was completely powerless against, true. But..at the same time, she had some close calls on occasion.
She just felt very lucky. It was so easy to find herself overwhelmed by things. She didn't know how long that would last, but she did know that eventually she was going to need a teacher. Not for the use of Ki..yet. But, in the art of channeling it into her weapon. That was a task for another day though. Today, she was on the hunt for whatever that power level was. As she stopped in a clearing, the young Saiyan-Demon panted softly as she wiped away some of her sweat with the long black sleeve of her turtleneck. She was beginning to question her choice in attire, to be honest. Regardless, she needed a break. So, with an audible "snick, shhhhhck, click" she sheathed Jigoku-Ko, slowly sitting down on the ground, unzipping her bag and pulling out a small set of capsules. She picked out two of the five, clicking the tops of each. In one hand, there was now a water bottle. In the other, she had a regular turkey Sandwich. She hadn't eaten for the day yet, so this would have to do.

( Letu So sorry this is so late. I was dealing with some personal issues that kind of took control of my life.) Raisu could feel the ki signature working its way through the forest, slowly but surely. It was not one he'd ever felt before, though he'd felt many people within its range before. It was interesting how many powerful beings there were out there. It was like everywhere he turned these days, there was somebody strong out there. Of course, this ki signature was much weaker than his own, even with his weights. Hopefully whoever it was did not want trouble. He'd had enough of that lately. Saiyans saw to that. But perhaps he should seek them out. Those with high ki levels usually made for decent conversation, or at the very least, interesting encounters. So he changed his course, stepping off the path and into the bamboo. It reminded him of the time that he'd met Polar. He'd abandoned the path then, and he was doing it again. It wasn't hard to fight his way through the bamboo, just annoying. He moved carefully, trying not to snap the reeds as he moved. Bamboo might grow quickly, but it was still inconsiderate of him to just to march on through. He had a respect for nature. It provided for him and everyone else. In his mind, they had a duty to respect it. And besides. He felt he owed something to the forest. His last encounter here hadn't ended well. Raisu finally reached a clearing, and in the center he saw the source of the ki signature he had felt: a girl, sitting in the middle of the clearing, eating. Raisu stared for a moment. there was something odd about her, something he couldn't quite place his finger on. But it was rude to stare. "Hello," he said, "I hope I'm not bothering you." The redhaired halfling waited for whatever response came his way.

She had sensed the massive Ki Signature approaching of course. But, if her time in South Capitol had taught her anything, it was that there was something..more about Ki that she didn't know about, that made her easier to track, but some people harder to. She was too hungry to just get up and run away. She didn't really care at this point. Yeah, things had been crazy when she left, and hadn't really taken a break yet. But, still. She was still a mortal being, and needed to eat. As the signature got a good ten feet away, she finished her food, wiping her mouth with a napkin as she noticed something interesting. Yet another hybrid. It was starting to get a bit eerie how many Saiyan hybrids she had been encountering since she left home. What was that, three of the five people she had met now? It was..interesting to say the least. As the source of the signature entered her clearing, the young hybrid looked up at him, and the feature of hers that was off became apparent. She had black horns growing from her head, and from their location, it seemed they were growing out of her forehead. He mentioned his hope that he wasn't bothering her, to which she simply shrugged as she rose to her feet, wobbling a little bit due to her awkward position to begin with.
It is not really a problem. Though, I will admit. It is getting very strange to come across so many hybrids. She said simply, trying to discern what made his hybridization so much more different than hers. She couldn't see any differences between him and her mother, aside from his hair and eye color being lighter, like hers was. Still..it was interesting. She spoke very little normally, but his other half of his hybridization was not obvious..it interested her. So, in her focusing on figuring this mystery out, she ended up forgetting to say anything past what she had only just said.

Raisu looked the girl over once more. Did she have horns growing out of her head? It certainly seemed so. Raisu would be lying to himself if he claimed it did not make him do a double take. But he shook the surprise from his mind. He'd met stranger folks these days, such as the little green monster from the spaceport.
The girl shrugged and rose. Raisu continued to look at her. Interesting, he though. Her hair was an interesting color, not unlike his own. And she claimed to be a hybrid. Interesting. How many had Raisu met now? Counting her, he thought, that made about three. The ever powerful Jarvis, the would be Super Saiyan Articho, and now her. But at least she wasn't hostile. And she seemed normal enough. Raisu was just glad he wasn't bothering her.
"You meet a lot of hybrids? Can't say I do."
Raisu laughed. It was kind of sad he didn't. If anyone knew how he felt, it was other hybrids.
"I'm Raisu, by the way. Nice to meet you."

Despite not being a very malicious person, or a very mean one, Letu couldn't help but chuckle as she listened to Raisu introduce himself. It was entertaining to her, considering that she was not unused to people doing a double take from her horns. Still, she had to admit, he had adjusted rather well. As he introduced himself as Raisu, Letu took his extended hand, shaking it rather firmly. Hello Raisu, my name is Letu. It's nice to meet you as well. And yes, I do indeed meet a lot of Hybrids..counting you, there is only one person I've met who was not a hybrid. She admitted as she let go of his hand, picking up her trash and placing them into an empty capsule before shrinking it down to a portable size.
She had to admit, it was interesting just how varied of people she was meeting. Jarvis, with his laid back demeanor, Tomoroko, always on edge, Articho..was Articho. There was no real way to describe him. It was very much a fun time meeting new people..making friends. Something she had no real experience with until lately. It was a great time, despite the danger she had put herself in on occasion. She was hoping that this meeting wouldn't end in anything too violent, as she still remembered how Tomoroko punched someone in the face, knocking them out in one go. It was terrifying how powerful people could be sometimes. Still, she was glad that, more often than not, she was not on the receiving end of that power.

(Sorry, RL problems.)
"Well, nice to meet you, Letu!"
Raisu shot her a grin as he pumped her hand up and down and quickly released it. Her handshake was firm, as befitted her strength. Hybrids were strong folks by nature it seemed. Or at least the ones he had met seemed to indicate that. Jarvis, Articho... Crazy how strong those people could get. Raisu himself was getting stronger all the time, but he couldn't compare with some people.
"Say, what brings you out here anyway? Not to pry, but usually the folks I meet out here bring trouble with them."
He, of course, meant the Arcosian. But that had passed. Whatever the horned hybrid's intentions were, he was glad she'd not greeted him with an attack. He wasn't particularly fond of meeting people by fighting. Of course, he liked both: fighting and meeting new people, but the two didn't mix particularly well. I wonder why, thought Raisu, his own sarcasm resounding in his mind.
