The general mood had improved and Tomoroko was also laughing. As harsh as his demand for a sparring session was, it was necessary and he only had good intentions with it. When he threw the punch, she easily dodged it by flying upwards and, immediately after that she landed on top of his arm, making him arch his left brow as he saw her running on top of it. As she ran, her hair returned to her original color and her power level dropped quite a lot and he could easily sense it; she reverted to her base state and that puzzled him quite a lot and was evident on his face. ”What?” he couldn’t help but ask himself.
Tomoroko reached his face and threw a punch on it, that didn’t even hurt. Shortly after that she soothed the spot, making him chuckle, as he enjoyed her caress. She called him dummy, and he answered in a tone that was lower than normal, but still pretty deep. – GOOD TO SEE YOU LIKE THIS. WE HAVE TO! AND WITH YOU… I KNOW I CAN. – he said in a gentle tone that didn’t fit his appearance now. Natto sit on the frozen plains with Tomoroko on his shoulder and approached his huge index finger, caressing the top of her head quite gently. With his other hand, he pressed a thing on his battle underwear – a safe blutz bane solution – that would get into his blood and slowly block the waves from reaching his tail as long as he didn’t stare back at the moon.
After a few seconds, he began shrinking back into his former self, until he was completely normal in appearance. He wasn’t badly injured, just a little blast on his right eye that could be easily healed as soon as they got back to the ship. Word Count: 309

"I know we had too it's just... I needed time to get my thoughts together." She admitted to him as she passed her hand through the brown fur that coated his neck. She almost felt entranced by it... now that her body was coming down from the high of becoming a super saiyan and from feeling all that rage, she felt like she could just curl up against his wonderfully comfortable fur and sleep. Almost... the pain in her arm was sharp, and preventing her from doing so.
As Natto sat back down on the snow and caressed her head, she continued to laugh softly at how silly it would look for anyone looking in. Especially on this alien planet, she bet it wasn't exactly something that they saw every day. When his body began to shrink however, she lifted her body into the air, descending as he began to transform back into his natural state. She would lower herself as he got smaller, eventually kneeling in the snow next and resting her head against his chest. She was glad that their fighting was over, and yet glad he had pushed her into doing it... to some degree... he had still been quite the ass hole to get her to actually follow him back down to Earth... somewhere she really didn't want to be in the first place.
"I'm sorry for the way I've been acting. I didn't tell you but... on our way to Earth I got a glympse or Astaria... or.... cc83113... and I got a few more memories back... I can remember my old team and how close I was to them when they died and... and when he... I just got scared I guess... I won't let it hold me back... not anymore. I made you a promise." She said softly as she brought her left arm up to her lips, using her teeth to pull up her purple arm cover so that it covered her left hand. She then brought it up to Natto's face, carefully wiping away at the blood that covered his eyes. She looked at him with a worried expression, wondering just how it was that she had actually managed to inflict any actual damage on him. She felt exceedingly guilty about it too... she'd just lost a dear friend, she didn't need to be the cause of her mate suffering.

Maybe she was right. Maybe she just needed a little time to get her thoughts together. Maybe he had been a little overly harsh, but they were still at a hostile planet, and they needed to get their shit together if they wanted to ensure that they would survive. And in order to do so, they also needed to get stronger. Much stronger than they were now. Truth be told, on a single combat Natto could probably take any fighter on Earth or even in the whole universe, but that’s not how things work in real life! At war people will gang up upon their enemies! There’s no real honor or pride. There’s just survival. And he knew that pretty well by now, and that was the reason he pushed her so far.
Back at his regular self, he laid on the snow, feeling the nice cold on his back, while Tomo slowly rested her head on his chest. As soon as she did that, he reached for her head with his hand and started caressing it gently. The young girl started speaking softly, apologizing for the way she had been acting, and he shook his head, like he was saying that she didn’t need to apologize. – I was sort of a dick the way I pushed you… But I’m not doing so well myself, so I couldn’t think of any other way to help you… To help us… - he admitted, sighing a bit. Then she said that on their way to Earth she had recovered some new memories of the planet she came from when they met. That made Natto widen his one good eye. – Really?! – he exclaimed, quite surprised with her statement.
She said she remembered about her old team and how close she was with them, and Natto felt a sting of sadness in his heart. It made a hell lot of sense now the way she had been acting; it was much deeper than just Aspa’s death, and that was already bad enough. – I’m sorry… I didn’t know… You should’ve told me, Tomo… - he said, raising his head a little bit in order to be able to look at her. Following that, she said that she wasn’t going to hold back anymore, she made a promise, and that made him smile a little bit. Tomoroko made some bandage with her armband on his right eye and when she finished it, he chuckled. – You are getting really strong! I’m proud of you. – he said, holding her hands with his own and then leaning towards her, to passionately kiss her on the lips. His hands would then reach her body, and bring her close to her in a tight hug. Word Count: 459

She was careful not to lie on her broken arm as she followed him to a flat position, she had to shift around to make sure she wasn't lying on it, even though the cold snow and ice helped numb the pain that continued to pulse through it. She closed her eyes for a moment as she rested her head against his chest, listening to his heart pound away in his chest.
"You were actually a huge jerk... but I can't pretend you're not hurt by what happened too. I'm glad that you got me out here though... I mean, I think I would of been moping around for a bit longer still." She said gently, opening her eyes only once he exclaimed his surprise when she admitted to remembering a little bit more of her past. She had flashes of what happened on Astaria, she could remember her teams faces and the pain she had felt with their loss... if she could have been stronger back then... maybe she would have been strong enough now to really turn the tides of the war above South city.
"I know I should have told you but there really wasn't any time to. I needed to heal up right after training and by that time we were already on Earth. It's not like the Earthlings even gave us much of a chance to talk to one another either." She tilted her head so that she could look up at him now, wincing as she accidentally leaned on her broken arm but immediately getting off of it, pushing herself onto a little more as she had to sit up. When his hand found her however, she stopped midway from her sitting up position as he pressed his lips against hers, his arm snaking around her to hold her closely. She smiled as she placed her left hand on his chest, stabilizing herself until he let her speak again.
"I was being selfish... I'm sorry I wasn't there for you more. I hope you can forgive me." She said gently, although judging by the kiss and the fact he was no longer being extremely harsh with her... she could only assume he would.

He blushed a little bit when she said that he was a big jerk, getting really embarrassed. ”She didn’t need to be so vocal about it!” he muttered to himself inside his mind, but then she said she was glad that he managed to bring her out of the ship, and that gave him some relieve. Following that, she explained why she didn’t tell him about her sudden recovery of memory; they were indeed heading towards war and any distraction could be proven fatal. Not that the war as a success of any sort, its results were catastrophic, but that would mess with Natto’s mind for sure, as it was messing now, and, somehow, he was glad that she only told him about it now.
– Yeah, they didn’t… - he said in a distracted tone, as his mind drifted for a moment to the memories of the battle. The Blue Banner Army was far from the stereotyped heroic folks, they were an army and as such they were willing to dirt their hands with the blood of their enemies. Natto respected that, since he was a soldier of a ruthless Empire for his whole life and there was plenty of blood on his hand, and a great deal of it was from innocents’ blood.
When she apologized for being selfish he shook his head, caressing her face with the back of his fingers. – You don’t need to apologize… I was just lost… I didn’t know what to do to make you feel better… I wasn’t sure how to get better myself… But… Somehow I had an idea that I may turn it into a goal and I want your thoughts on that. – he paused for a brief moment. – I’m thinking about searching for saiyans who are living on Earth. I want to understand more of our race… We have to be more than those mindless bloodthirsty fools who were willing to throw away their lives in a meaningless battle… I mean! I was never like that ever since I was born… You aren’t like that nor Riku, and Aspa managed to overcome that side of him… I have to believe that there’s more to us saiyans! And maybe the answer will be found in the saiyans who chose to live here! – he said. There was a fire of hope inside his eyes, a new goal to keep pushing him forward. Word Count: 404

" I don't know about that Natto... I mean... the blue haired jerk lives on Earth doesn't he? and he's at least half saiyan. He seemed pretty stereotypical to me. The only other Eathling saiyan I've seen is Etoru... and I mean he's just a kid so I can't really base my judgment on him." She began, thinking about what it was Natto wanted to do with some heavy doubt. What if they were recognized as saiyan's of the Empire? At least... formerly of the Empire... she didn't doubt that they would be recognized as part of the invasion and that led her to believe that any saiyans here on Earth would treat them with hostility instead of friendship.
"I just don't want to put us in a situation where we have to fight them, you know? What if they recognize us? What if they've got some sort of device that broadcast the invasion to the other Earthlings, and then even the Earthlings would recognize us. I don't think they will greet curiosity with open arms..." She continued but then paused as she saw a light shinning in his eyes. One she hadn't seen since he had planned to create their squad and bring his friends together as a family. She finally sighed as she leaned forward to gently place her lips on his again.
"I guess we can try finding a couple of saiyans here on Earth... but the first sign of trouble and we leave. I don't want to get caught up on this planet if it proves to be too dangerous... and you'll need to teach me how to sense energy and how to lower my own power level... I imagine having me walking around at full strength would draw a lot of attention."

The first thing Tomoroko said to Natto’s idea was mentioning Jarvis. He immediately grimaced as the blue-haired hybrid’s name come up, but he quickly sighed and decided to ignore all his hatred against him and focus on the main topic of the conversation. She then mentioned Etoru but said that since he was a kid, she couldn’t pass a good judgment yet, to which Natto shook his head, disagreeing with her. – I’m sorry to disagree Tomo, but as a kid you can already see a lot of someone’s nature. And I’m certain that Etoru will grow to be a fine saiyan! – he said, cutting a little bit of her speech. After that, she mentioned her concern about putting them in a dire vulnerable situation, since the earthlings would most likely be antagonizing them due to the fact that they were pure-blooded saiyans, dressed like saiyans and were affiliated with the Saiyan Solar Empire until about a couple days ago. Still, Natto believed that their attitude would make a difference.
”The strongest warrior of the earthling side, Virtual Poi, saw through it and offered us a way out. That means that we can expect other earthlings to give us a chance to show our true colors. That’s all I’m expecting.” he comforted himself with those thoughts as Tomoroko finished speaking. Before he answered, though, she sighed and leaned her lips against his, and he responded to it with the very same gesture, kissing her softly. Then she agreed on trying to find saiyans on Earth, as long as they were careful and left if there was any sign of trouble, to which he nodded. Then she said that she also wanted him to teach her how to sense other’s energy and how to lower her own power level, making him smile a little bit.
– I promise I will be careful, but until you learn those skills, I will be going by myself, okay? I don’t want to put you into danger, and I can handle myself unless I get teamed-up against. But I don’t see that happening. The only ones who can stand a chance against me are Virtual Poi and that beast that hurt you. – he said in a light but confident tone. Word Count: 377

"I'm not doubting that he'll turn out to be anything less. He is my brother after-all. I'm just worried is all." She stated to his comment about Etoru. She by no means meant that comment to put her brother down... she knew he was going to grow up to be exceptionally strong. It was scary how much strength that boy could throw around. She let a sigh escape her lips, comforting her own thoughts just by being next to Natto. As battered as they both were currently, she knew what he was capable of and really didn't have to worry about him at all... but like he said, if he was ever teamed up on... his own strength wouldn't be enough. She had to learn those skills for herself so that she could travel with him, so that he didn't have to worry about getting ganged up on.
"I guess... I mean... maybe you should take mom with you? Her power levels low enough that no one would really bat an eye... oh and maybe I can fashion some sort of communicator for us that works like the scouters but on a different frequency... maybe, I'm not sure if the ship has the parts I would need for that though... Maybe mom could do that too..." She began to ramble, pondering about everything that she should actually be doing now instead of moping around her room. While her sadness over Aspa's death and the memories of her past team were still fresh in her mind... she knew now that she had to keep pushing forward, she really had to thank Natto for snapping her out of it for now, and the best way to do that would be to keep striving forward.
"Right. Well, maybe we should get back and fix your eye and my arm... I don't want it to scar because we've waited too long." She stated as she carefully pushed herself back up to her feet and offering her hand to Natto to help him up onto his.

Natto’s expression became quite thoughtful when she suggest him to take Kyuri along, and them rambled about changing the frequency of their scouter, which was an amazing idea, and that made Natto smile widely; he admired not only her guts and kindness, but also her wits. Most of the time she exceeded him on that department and that’s why he liked to discuss his ideas with both her and Aspa, but unfortunately the second was no longer among them. – While her power level may be low, it is still above this planet’s standards, and she also can’t hide her power level, which would make her a target… And a really bad target, since she has no chance of defending herself and if, somehow, an enemy managed to get us by surprise, he or she could use her as a hostage… I think Kyuri can help us more with her excellent support by the spaceship… And if she manages to guarantee we have a safe frequency on our scouters and if she can make brand new scouters too, that would be amazing! I believe I can scavenger plenty of materials around this place… - he said, touching his chin with both index and thumb fingers. – I believe I saw earthlings with a slightly different model of scouter with some sort of brand onto them. – he mentioned, unknowingly referring to the Capsule Corp. model.
Then, Tomoroko suggested that they should head back to the ship, to which he nodded in agreement. Natto took her hand and, with her help, he got up and immediately after that he started flying straight towards the Star Javelin, which was hovering far above them, on the limits of the atmosphere. That rang a bell on his mind, and he stared back at Tomoroko as they flew. – It reminds me… Now that you are a super saiyan too… I need to teach you how to survive in space for a while! – he said, with a quite excited look on his face.
