South Capitol had definitely seen better days. The large city had been successfully defended against the Saiyan invaders thanks to all of the powerful warriors that had come to stand against them, but there was still plenty of collateral damage to be had. It was pretty much a given when you have that many several-story high ape creatures rampaging through it. A building or two toppling over was considered getting off easy when it was equally possible that the entire city could have been reduced to little more than a pile of rubble.
The piles of debris sat undisturbed for the moment. The fighters had already cleared out, yet it was far too soon to start cleaning up after the attack. Each pile was still... except for one. A lone, tiny body sat beneath one of the once mighty towers. It was a body constructed of metal; one with just enough power left to finally regain consciousness now that everything had gone quiet. ”ErrOR... mALFUnctIoniNG... SysTEm ScAN IN progress...” came Tania’s static filled voice as she shakily pushed a large mess of concrete and rebar off of her mutilated frame.
It was a wonder how the tiny synthetic child was still functioning at all with the heavy damage she had sustained. Her torso was bent at a slightly odd angle to the left, one of her legs had crumpled up like tinfoil at the knee, and both of her normally detachable arms had been crunched into place. The skin on the left side of her face was all ripped up, revealing part of her metal skull and some severed wiring underneath. Her jaw was limply hanging open upon broken hinges that were unable to close.
Tania certainly couldn’t go on for long in her current state. Her internal battery was among her severely damaged parts. While trying to perform a scan on herself to figure out what was still working, her system had already shut down several superfluous functions in order to conserve what was left of rapidly draining power reserves. All of the subtle things that made her appear more human than machine were done away with. There was to be no blinking, chest movements to mimic breathing, or non-essential desires that were programmed into her personality like playtime or sweets. No, the desire that her system left in-tact was self-preservation. She was more like a shambling husk than the hyperactive little girl that enjoyed scrambling through the halls of Site A like a giggling lunatic.
”sYsteM SCan coMpLETEd... maJOr REpaIrs ReQuirED...” Tania’s static-filled voice crackled, her jaw still permanently open. The only reason she could still actually speak was because her internal speaker made it so she didn’t actually need to move her lips to make the sounds they were normally required for. She slowly drug herself away from the heap of debris, her crushed right leg giving her quite the limp. Every time she moved, dust puffed out of the cracks in her frame.
The ruined girl’s vision kept cutting between what she was seeing in front of her, and a memory playback of what happened just before she lost consciousness. Tania remembered firing off one of her fists at the giant ape creature attacking Big Blu alongside the blue guy she had just met. However, her aim had been off and her attack had soared right past its intended target. She had to go chasing after it as it wasn’t going to come back on its own. The faulty projectiles never did. Just as Tania had caught up to it and was snapping it back into its proper socket, a large shadow stretched over her small form. The android looked up just in time to see a large building crash on top of her, knocked over by one of the raging beasts. After that, the footage cut out. Presumably, the shock had been too much for her system to endure, which caused her to shut down temporarily.
Tania continued to shamble down the street in search of either someone she knew, or someone that might have been capable of fixing her up. ”MajOR rEpAirS reqUIrED... MA-MA-MA... paIRs... ReQUI-QUI-QUI-QUIred...”

[Thread PL: 17,695]
The sounds of distant sirens and crumbling buildings wafted through the air as the aged doctor strolled down the ruined city streets. Though not all of the city was in shambles, a large enough majority was. However, Breech wasn't here for some relief effort, or to asses damage for some simple clean-up crew. No, Breech was here to collect something. A piece of the fabled Resillium Core lay hidden beneath the rubble of one of these buildings. It just so happened that one of Breeches old colleagues lived in the area, and he was one of few who held the pieces to the scattered core.
The mechanized doctor continued his walk, his sky-blue eyes occasionally flashing crimson red as he scanned destroyed building after destroyed building. He huffed unceremoniously as yet another scan turned up nothing. No life, no core, nothing at all. It seemed to be an entirely fruitless search, save for a lone power level that was emanating from nearby.
Breech stared curiously at the reading his internal scouter had received. It fluctuated wildly like something on its last legs of life, yet the reading came with no life signature. The Doctor surmised the reading was coming from a heavily damaged android or service drone, as not many things can output energy without life. "Perhaps if I'm lucky, this droid has some connection to Professor Sulf... One can only dream of such a coincidence, but if the connection were there, perhaps this droid knows where the piece of the Resillium Core might be." A rare smile crept onto the doctors face. His speed swapped from a simple walk to a full-on sprint. He had to make sure this droid was active before it was too late!
It took only a few moments for Breech to arrive on the scene. Following the only power signature for miles in all directions was a simple task, after all. What he saw however, was quite sickening. It was an android in the shape of a little girl, completely mutilated, but still moving. While Breech was devoid of most emotion, the sight still got a reaction out of him. He let out a disgusted scoff as he walked towards the mess. "What a terribly condition you are in..."
He knelt down near the barely functioning droid as it shambled, deciding to test his luck with a simple vocal command. "B.A.D Unit! Give me a status report." Of course, there was no way Breech could know if Tania was from B.A.D industries or not. He would just have to hope the command meant something to the little girl. If it didn't, he'd most likely have to take her back to the lab and pick her brain a bit.

Tania continued her wobbly limp away from the fallen building that had taken her out of the battle. Her crumpled leg threatened to give way even with as little weight as she was putting on it. Even if it had decided to stop functioning entirely and become little more than dead weight attached to her mechanical equivalent of hips, the girl simply would have continued on dragging herself by her hands. Her pain receptors had been overloaded and shut down when she had first been crushed, so it was only a matter of her body functioning just enough to get her from Point A to wherever it was Point B happened to be.
Suddenly, Tania’s auditory sensors picked up on footsteps quickly approaching her location, as well as a voice that was directed at her. She slowly turned on her ‘good’ leg in order to face him. She stared lifelessly at the figure of the old man that had been addressing her, somewhat confused as to why her scanners weren’t picking up on any energy coming from him. Her initial scan of her systems had revealed that it was one of the few functions of hers that had been left completely in-tact. It also hadn’t been one of the ones that had been shut down in order to conserve power since she was actively looking for people. The answer to the equation that had presented itself was eluding her, but she needed to focus on her current priority. Survival.
”MoDEL tyPe not REcognIzeD... nO reCORd exiSTs In DA-DA-DATAbasE...” Tania responded to the given command. The exposed, severed wires in her face emitted a few sparks as she spoke. ”maJoR REPairs ReQuiReD...” It may have seemed like she at least recognized the second part of the elderly man’s command. However, it would quickly become apparent that the phrase was simply stuck in a loop. If Tania wasn’t trying to process a specific, simple command that she recognized or wasn’t actively trying to communicate herself, that’s what would be coming out of her broken mouth. ”MAjoR repAIrS rEquIRED...”

The Doctor cursed under his breath at Tania's response. It was unlikely that she would be related to the company in any way, but it was worth a shot to ask. With that lead becoming a bust, Breech had half a mind to leave the droid for dead. It wasn't like he needed her... Right? She'd just waste his time, get in the way of progress! Something inside forced him to stay, however. It was a powerful feeling, tugging at the power core that replaced his heart. He felt, for the first time in a very long time... Sadness. He quickly banished the feeling from his mind, but decided to fix the girl up anyways.
He looked the girl over, quickly surmising that the repairs needed were only feasibly doable back at the lab. A trip like that, however, would take a massive amount of time, meaning Tania would more-than-likely shut down along the way.
Breech moved closer to the child, raising his hand slightly as he approached. "Repairs are what you need, hmm? I can help you, but we'll have to make it back to my laboratory in the north. In the meantime, I'll make sure your systems will be stable enough for the trip..." As he finished speaking, his left hand began moving in weird ways. The skin peeled back, revealing the inner metallic skeleton of his frame. That too moved aside, as a small wheel of tools jutted out of his wrist. The wheel spun on its own, eventually stopping on a welding torch. Breech moved the thing closer to Tania, and attempted some on-the-fly repairs.
With his advanced robotic knowledge, Breech would be able to easily patch the girl up. She'd be able to function in an extremely low power state, but at least she wouldn't be in a critical condition. Should Tania allow it, Breech would also fix up her leg and most of her torso, giving her a little more power output, but still nowhere near maximum capacity.
An oddly happy smile grew on the doctors face as he stood up. He clapped his hands together a few times, dusting them off as he spoke. "There we go, you should be able to access your flight capabilities, assuming you have any installed. If not, I can carry you on my back through the tundra. Regardless of which mode of transportation you choose, we need to get moving soon."

Tania didn’t react as the old man came closer. She didn’t really know what to make of him just yet other than it was someone that she hadn’t met before. Her sensors still weren’t able to get a read on his energy signature. Had the diagnostic she ran been incorrect?
”AffIRmAtiVe... daMAGe SUstaineD excEEdS SelF-REPaiR caPaBiLITiES...” Tania responded, unable to detect that what the man asked may have very well been a rhetorical question. He expressed that she would need to be transported elsewhere in order to receive the repairs that she needed. ”enERgY ReserVeS AT crItiCaLlY lOw LeVeLS... eSTimAtED TiME uNTil-” the damaged girl began to speak, but her speaker was silenced when the skin peeled away from his left hand, revealing a metal frame and a plethora of tools. The conundrum had been solved. Tania wasn’t getting an energy reading from the man because, like her, he wasn’t an organic being. There was no need for a second diagnostic to be run on her scanners after all.
”Energy reserves at sufficient levels for transportation,” the android stated once the initial repairs had been completed. Her frame looked no better, but her voice didn’t sound nearly as glitch or filled with static anymore. Her battery had gotten a quick recharge as well, though the component was still broken and the new energy was draining far quicker that it should have been. It would still be enough to carry her to the man’s laboratory since so many of her other functions had been shut down.
The jets built into the bottoms of Tania’s feet crackled to life and propelled her off the ground. Surprisingly, her right leg was still hanging in there. The small girl hovered at eye-level with the man, awaiting the next command he was to issue. ”Ready to relocate. Begin moving to target location or input coordinates for unassisted travel,” Tania spoke up, prepared to follow whatever order she was given.

It seemed the repairs had done their expected duty. Tania, while still nowhere near full-capacity, was at least somewhat functional now. Breech smiled behind his bushy mustache, turning to the horizon as he plotted a course for the Laboratory in the Gizard Wasteland. His eyes briefly flashed crimson a few times as streams of data clouded his vision internally. Eventually, Breech turned back to Tania, who had begun flight. The doctor nodded, floating into the air himself and beckoning the girl to follow. "I'll attempt to keep at a slow pace so you can keep up. ETA will be around 1 hour."Breech continued to ascend, stopping above the highest destroyed building. Once Tania was ready to move, Breech would begin flying towards the laboratory. The flight would be entirely silent unless Tania asked a question. Breech wasn't exactly sure how much power would be needed for Tania to access her vocal systems, so he'd refrain from idle chatter as much as possible. Frozen North - Gizard WastelandsBreeches eyes flashed crimson once more as they flew across the rocky landscape, indicating that he was close to home base. He smirked, slowly descending as he flew. While most people would only see a simple mountain, Breech saw his home. Hidden on one of the cliffs of the mountain was a very large, yet surprisingly hard to spot metallic door. The mechanized doctor touched down near the door, walking over to the keypad that resided near the entrance to the lab.
He input an incredibly long sequence of numbers, until finally a green light turned on above the door. Slowly, the metallic door slid open, leading to a very dark and ominous laboratory. Breech was the first to step inside, beckoning the robotic girl to follow suit. Should she enter, she'd find that the inside of the lab had a much cozier feel to it than one would expect.
The main room of the lab was lit somewhat dimly, though it was still easy to see all of the things inside. On one end of the metal-lined room there was a small wooden work-desk sitting next to a rather large, but entirely empty test tube. On the other end of the room was what seemed to be a super-computer. It slowly chugged away at whatever task Breech had assigned to it. Occasionally, a small beep or boop would come from the large machine, but otherwise it was mostly silent. The aged doctor slowly walked towards a doorway on the right, beckoning Tania to follow. "The repairs chamber is in this room. Would you mind if I installed a few upgrades along with your repairs?"

The trip up North didn’t last too terribly long. With the quick patch-up job that had been performed on her by the man she followed through the air, it didn’t provide too much of a strain on her. Tania sure would be in for a surprise when she ‘woke up’. Perhaps it was a good thing that her personality was inactive during the trip. Otherwise she might have been distracted by how all of the mountains in the distance looked like they were covered in whipped cream.
Eventually, the other android descended down into the mountain range, Tania wordlessly following close behind him. There was nothing in the direction that they were headed that indicated anything other than more of the rocky, somewhat desolate landscape that they had been flying over. However, the small girl could find no reason to speak up. They were still moving. Sure enough, there was a well-hidden metal door in the side of one of the mountains that the man immediately went to work in opening. It was yet another thing that Tania would have been absolutely fascinated by if her personality had been active. Secret mountain doors sounded like part of some kind of epic adventure.
The door opened to reveal what must have been the man’s laboratory. It didn’t look quite as sterile as where Tania had been produced, but it would have been impossible for the girl to mistake it for anything else with the complex machinery it held within its walls. She followed man inside as her free will had been disabled and she had yet to be commanded to do anything else. Before the man began with the repairs, he asked a question that the barely functioning girl hadn’t quite expected. Did she mind if he installed some upgrades? Specifically, it was the part about whether or not she minded that was giving her difficulty. It indicated that she might have had a personal preference. Tania found herself unable to compute that part in her current state. The exposed wires in her face sparked as system searched for an answer.
Upgrades...? Normally the synthetic child would have been skeptical. Tania didn’t really like to have her hardware or internal systems messed with. That part of her was unable to be registered for the moment though. The android girl could only work with the most basic of logic at this point due to her continuously draining power supply and damaged systems. Upgrades generally meant improvement. Improvement generally meant more survivability. Surviving was her only objective for the moment. With that, the obvious conclusion had been reached.
”Permission granted for upgrade installation. Ready to receive repairs,” the speaker behind Tania’s hanging jaw replied. The girl would obediently obey all of the man’s gien commands until she was fixed up enough for her personality to be rebooted. Hopefully when Tania was finally restored to her normal self, she wouldn’t come to regret whatever ‘upgrades’ the man had in mind.

Breech nodded towards the android girl, glad that she was so compliant. "Excellent. Let's get to work then, shall we?" The doctor walked through the doorway and the lights flickered to life on their own. The circular room wasn't the largest, but there were quite a few things to view here. Large capsule-like doors lined the walls entirely, going from numbers 1 to 20. It seemed they were used for storage of non-organic things, such as androids or cyborgs. Breech moved towards the seemingly empty middle of the room, where an operating table rose from the floor. The slick metal sheet clicked into place, awaiting its tiny robotic patient. The mechanized doctor motioned for the girl to lay on the table so he could get to work. Should she lay herself on it, Breeches eyes would flash crimson, indicating he was using internal controls to activate something in the lab. "Please activate your standby mode. This operation will go smoother if your internal systems aren't running."A small metallic tray arose from the ground near the operating table. On it were a multitude of tools, all of which would be used to repair the young girl-droid. Should Tania have already activated her standby mode, then the doctor would get to work quickly. With his expert knowledge on robotics, a fix should be more than simple. He began by removing her unnecessary synth-flesh entirely with a Artifical-Ki saw. With how badly damaged it was she'd need a whole new set if she ever wanted to look similar to how she originally did. With the flesh and clothing removed, it would be much easier to repair the broken machinery. Breech placed the Ki saw back on the tray, and moved to Tania's disjointed leg. He popped the leg out of its socket, inspecting it closely to see if it'd be worth his time to try to simply repair it. "Hmm... It seems workable, let's see what we can do."After a few moments of re-arranging misplaced joints, the leg looked good as new -save for the fact that it was missing skin entirely. He popped the leg back in and returned to working on the main body... It had been around an hour since the operation had begun, and Tania's internal systems had been fully repaired. It seemed, however, that there was one last problem to be solved. While Tania wasn't a high-powered Android, she was equipped with rocket-propelled arms -one of which was missing, but had been replaced by the Good Doctor. The targeting system for these rocket arms seemed to be extremely poorly programmed however, meaning there was an almost guaranteed chance they'd miss. Breech decided to fix the errors in the programming, increasing her accuracy by at least 70%! Along with this, he added an optional homing feature to the arms the girl was equipped with. Should she ever wish to use the function, she'd find the enemy would be hard-pressed to avoid the attack. With his repairs complete, it was time to re-apply the synth-flesh. While his repairs were being made, he had set a new set of artificial skin to be produced by his worker drones. He activated a few commands in his internal computer, and the drones delivered the synth-flesh to the operating room; along with a fresh set of nearly identical clothing... It took a little while, but after some expert application, Breech gave Tania a fresh set of synthetic skin. She looked like brand-new, and she had that fresh car smell! "Repairs complete; you may awaken from your standby function."

Tania followed the man into the laboratory, wordlessly lying on the metal table as she was instructed. With this, she wouldn’t have to worry about falling to the ground as a heap of scrap metal. These repairs were sure to keep her going. Well, at least until the next time a building fell on top of her. She could worry about how to avoid that scenario later though. ”Initiating standby mode,” Tania spoke flatly. Her vision went black as her systems went into hibernation. It was time to rest...
Standby mode didn’t feel nearly as cozy as Tania’s sleep mode, even if the only difference happened to be the visualization of a large monitor telling her that it was nap time. There was something incredibly comforting to the small girl about the dull, green glow of the text on the screen and the sleepy little emoticons that emphasized the simple message. There was something oddly warm about it. There was no such warmth to standby mode. It was designed to conserve power in times of need by using the absolute bare minimum amount of energy to prevent Tania from shutting down completely. Therefore, there was nothing to be visualized except for an all-encasing darkness. Cold... Solitary... Endless... The only saving grace about standby mode was that if Tania ever needed to enter it in the first place, chances were that she didn’t have the energy for her personality to be active and experience it.
It was difficult to gauge exactly how long Tania spent in standby mode. It could have been anywhere from hours to minutes, as her internal clock wasn’t a necessary function that needed to stay on during the process. However much time had gone by, the silence was eventually shattered by the same voice that had commanded her into that state. One by one, her functions began to switch on as her system performed another diagnostic. Everything seemed completely functional. It was as if new life had been breathed into her frame.
The synthetic child’s eyes slid open and she sat straight up, carefully patting herself over to check on how the external repairs had gone. Her limbs felt good as new, her jaw could shut again, and her skin lacked any rips. Yay! Looks like she was all good as new! ”Thanks a bunch Mr... Um...” Tania chirped, but paused when she realized that she didn’t even know the name of the man in front of her. Her memory was kind of fuzzy from when she crawled out from under that fallen building up until she had gone into standby mode. Bits and pieces hadn’t recorded properly with all of the problems she had been having. Had they already introduced themselves? If they had, oh well. A second introduction never hurt anyone.
Tania enthusiastically hopped off of the metal table and gave the elderly gentleman a cheerful wave. ”My name’s Tania! What’s yours?” she asked with a big grin on her face. Man, this was great! She felt like a brand new Tania! While smiling up at the man, the girl finally noticed her surroundings. They were surrounded by a continuous, circular wall that was lined with doors with numbers on them. She didn’t remember quite how she got there. The most she could bring up was a few still images off the two of them flying over the mountains. ”Cool place you got here, Mister! Are you a Blue Banner Army scientist?” she asked curiously, letting her eyes wander from door to door. He didn’t really wear anything to signify that he was part of the BBA, but really the only scientists that Tania had had conscious contact with were the ones that worked at the BBA’s Site A.

It wasn't long before the miniature android was back into active mode. She sat up on the table, seemingly inspecting her external components' improved efficiency. He wasn't sure if the girl had a personality matrix installed, but he was certain he'd soon find out. The doctor let out a soft chuckle as the girl spoke. He himself didn't realize it until just now either, but neither of them had introduced themselves. He supposed there wasn't much time for it, seeing as the girl was about to fall into bits at any moment when they were in the city. Breech gave a slow bow to the girl, introducing himself politely. "The name is Doctor Breech Aris. It's a pleasure to meet you, Tania."
There seemed, however, to be a bit of a mis-conception. Tania assumed that Breech was from the 'Blue Banner Army', a name he'd heard mentioned a few times in his recent travels. He shook his head, causing his mustache to sway to and fro. "I am not affiliated with this 'Blue Banner Army' you speak of. I am a former Capsule Corp scientist, currently working to bettering the world through robotic enhancement." Though he didn't mind revealing his true, slightly more corrupted intentions, bettering the world was a good way to sugar-coat it.
Breech turned away from the operating table, walking towards the main room of the laboratory. "You don't have to stick around if you don't wish to, by the way. I've got matters to attend to and if you'd rather not tag along I would understand completely."
(Can't think of anything else, sorry for short post)

"Nice to meet’cha Dr. Breech Aris!" Tania replied, still grinning from ear to ear. The man definitely had a sciencey-sounding name to him. She guessed it wasn’t all that big of a surprise though. After all, he had a laboratory and knew his way around robotics, as well a being an android like she was. It was neat how many of those she seemed to be running into after joining the BBA. It was nice to see so many others out there that were like her.
It turned out that the doctor wasn’t part of the Blue Banner Army after all. Instead, he used to work for Capsule Corp. Tania didn’t have much experience in dealing with their products, but she had seen their logo all over the place. Oh well. That just meant that he wasn’t her friend by default by being on the same team as her. Instead, he was a friend in the making! Those were just as fun! "Really? I guess that explains why I didn’t already know who you were. You see, I’m in the BBA myself," the child commented, pointing her thumb proudly at her chest. "Robotic enhancement sounds neat. You really can’t go wrong there." There were androids out there like Mr. Cipher 24, Administrator Azure(now that he wasn’t a bad guy anymore), and now this nice man that had went and fixed her up. They definitely enhanced things! Of course, she was completely oblivious as to what he actually meant by that.
Tania watched curiously as Dr. Breech turned away and began walking back towards the front room. He was saying that he had things to do and that she didn’t have to stay, but at the same time he wasn’t specifically telling her to go away or anything. The small girl decided to skip after him. "Is there anything I can help with? I didn’t really have much else planned since I don’t think they’re cleaning up South Capitol just yet," Tania explained as she bounced along right behind him. "Besides, you were nice enough to fix me up. I wanna do something nice in return."

The girls peppy attitude was surprisingly endearing to Breech. Normally he'd wish to end the life of someone so jovial, but something about this girl was special. He couldn't understand why, but he almost felt like she knew her from an age long-since past. Whatever the reason was, he was certain he'd figure it out eventually; for now though it seemed she was going to be sticking around for a bit, rather than run off to her army or whatever it was. "You're a member of the Blue Banner? Interesting... What is it you do, exactly? I assume that your small stature and lifeless nature allows you to go on reconnaissance, though you could perhaps instead be used for other missions."
The doctor raised a brow as they walked, responding to her with a somewhat confused tone. "...Yes, 'neat'..."
He entered the adjacent room, moving towards a large machine with many buttons and switches. His hands moved quickly as he tapped and flipped things, turning on certain functions, while deactivating others. "I appreciate your kindness, Tania. If you'd like to help, start flipping those switches over there to the 'on' position, if you could." His wrinkled hand pointed towards a set of switches near Tania's height. Should she flip them all properly, the machine would whir to life as a screen near the front of it turned on.
The doctor quickly moved over to the screen, flipping another switch that released a keyboard just below it. His aged fingers would move at incredible speeds, checking on the progress of programs he'd set to run automatically whilst also inputting new data to be studied at a later date. Without turning, he pointed to a desk in the corner. "Tania, could you hand me that Drone on the table there?"

”Mostly I just look for anything that might be magic. The BBA really likes that kind of stuff,” Tania chirped as she continued to bounce after the doctor. Now that she thought about it, why exactly did they want magic anyway? Was their leader secretly a witch? Or maybe a fairy? Both of those options sounded like they would be awesome! Maybe she would ask Administrator Azure about it if she ever got to meet him in person. ”Let’s see... Oh! I also give suggestions for what to serve in the mess hall. And I draw pretty pictures to hang up on the walls! And I make sure to beat up any bad guys I find!”
The pair of androids moved into the next room while Tania was trying to think about if she had any other duties in the BBA. After all, her position was super important. If Dr. Breech wanted to know about it, she wanted to be as thorough as she could. However, before anything else could come to mind, she was given instructions on how she could be of assistance. ”Got it! Tania of the Blue Banner Army is on the job!” the child announced before scampering over to the switches the man had pointed out. She flipped them on and watched in fascination as the large machine he was standing in front of powered on.
The doctor wasted no time in doing... whatever it is that he was doing with the machine. What exactly was she helping him with anyway? Tania hadn’t actually asked him that yet. The girl scooped the drone off of the table, hugging it close to her chest so she would be sure not to drop it. It was probably important so she had to be careful. ”What’cha doin’? Is this part of ‘bettering the world’?” she asked curiously as she moved closer to him, holding up the drone so he could grab it. Tania always liked to help people. Helping people help other people was just that much better. ”Do you think that when you’re all done bettering the world through robotics, you could think about bettering the world through cupcakes? Those always make people happy... Hey! Maybe I can work on that while you work on the first one!”

The doctor glanced sideways at Tania as he flipped the many switches that needed flipping. He was surprised that her job seemed so important. Magical artifacts were no joke, and if his brief run-in with Sithis' creation were proof of anything, it's that magic was in some form quite real. "I see... Magical Artifacts must be hard to come by, have you found any during your time with this Army?" The doctor couldn't help but let out a chuckle as the girl continued to speak, detailing her other, less dangerous duties. "Would you be so kind as to draw me a picture? I would enjoy having one."
With Tania's help, the computer whirred to life. Breech smiled at the little girl-droid, giving her a pat on the head for her job well done. He moved over to the computer scree, tapping away at the keyboard as Tania watched with interest. She asked a question with her adorable little voice, prompting Breech to turn his attention to her for a brief moment.
"I suppose so. Currently, I'm cross-referencing old data with recently acquired information in hopes of learning the location of an old friend. He and I have some... Unfinished business."
He grabbed the drone from Tania, popping open the spherical machine and grabbing a data-disk from inside it. He handed the two halves back to Tania, inserting the data-disk into his computer soon after. "Bettering the world through cupcakes? I can't say I've tried that... Maybe we'll give it a shot someday." The Disk loaded up quickly, loading in a set of blueprints that looked like they were for a building of some kind. Breech began typing faster than before, indicating he was most likely close to a break-through.
A nefarious chuckle escaped the doctor as he moved away from the computer. Some type of data began to transmit to Breeches internal drives, some of it being transmitted to Tania as well. It seemed to be coordinates, but for what it was unclear. The doctor began heading for the door, beckoning the young droid to follow along. "Come along, Tania; we've got some business to attend to!"

”Not yet, unless you count Senzu bean plants,” Tania replied. Hopefelly Benjamin was doing okay. She made sure to water him before she went to the toy store so he should have been fine in that regard, but he always got cranky whenever the girl left him alone for too long. ”And you got it! One masterpiece drawn by Tania, coming up! Well, as soon as I can find some paper and crayons.” Wow! This was the first time someone had actually requested one of her pictures! Could art have been her true calling? Well, it was a nice thought, but she was still an adventurer at heart. It didn’t matter how famous she might have been since she was already getting requests. She had important work to do!
After giving her a quick pat on the head, Dr. Breech focused his attention on the recently powered on computer and went to work on whatever important science stuff Tania had just helped him with. ”Looking for a friend? As long as I’m not helping you cheat at hide and seek, I’ll help however I can!” That would explain why the laboratory didn’t appear to have anyone but the two of them in there. Maybe when he found this friend of his, he could be there too and help keep him company! If that didn’t work, Tania might have at least been able to introduce him to some of the soldiers in the BBA so that they could be his friends too.
While he only appeared to give her cupcakes idea a passing thought, that was still enough to get Tania excited about it. Think of the possibilities with science thrown into the mix! One day you could be able to grow cupcake trees! Or maybe you could make the ultimate cupcake that could fit into every food group! Or maybe you could make cupcakes that walked, talked, and gave you big hugs! Erm... maybe that one would be a little weird since you’d still want to eat them. Oh well...
Tania was quickly jarred away from her fantasies when she received coordinates from the big computer. Oh! Was that where his friend was? ”Cooooooooomiiiiing~” the synthetic child answered in a sing-song voice as she skipped after the other android. Assuming Dr. Breech would lead her out the door and high above the mountains, Tania would squeal at the sight of the snow covered peaks in this distance as they would begin to fly to their destination. ”Ooh! The mountains look like they’re covered in whipped cream! Or frosting! Don’t’cha think they would look super yummy if they had giant cherries sitting on top of them?” Tania giggled, flying after the doctor. ”It sounds like you haven’t seen your friend in a while? Do you think we should pick up some ice cream or cupcakes on the way there? Catching up with someone is always better when you’re munching on something tasty!”
