The afternoon sun bore down upon the crisp, briny waters of the Southern Islands. Seagulls screeched overhead, soaring high above the roaring waves. It was quite the beautiful day. Despite all of the action going on in the major capitals, things were nice down here. Back in their home region, Chaz and Ibby were delighted to have found out that many new restaurants had been opened up. All of them bringing new and improved types of dishes. When they heard about all of the new types of foods that had been developed, specifically for them, they raced back down here in a heartbeat. Literally. It only took them about a day and a half to make their way back. They tried their best to avoid the city, seeing as things were still being mulled over. He didn’t want to see his hometown in ruins again, as it would only serve to hinder his mentality. It was brutal, seeing all of his buddies and the people he saw as family brutalized by mere monkeys. Now wasn’t the time to get mopey, though. Ibby and Chaz were down there for a reason; Get some new food! And boy, were they ready to taste something new. Southern food, home food, was always the best!
Only one problem; Their favorite shop still needed one ingredient. An ingredient they had to go out and fetch themselves. The material supposedly belonged to some type of giant underwater sea creature that could only be found in certain parts of the Southern waters. This creature was extremely rare, and only one in a million people had ever been able to lay their hands on it, let alone see it. They were noted to be extremely vicious. That being the fact as to why no one has been able to get ahold of one. It usually stayed below the surface of the water, using their powerful fins in order to drag boats along and smash them into whatever solid object was in sight. No one ever lived to tell the tail. That was, until Chaz and Ibby came along.
That brings us to where the Delicious Duo is currently. In a small, wooden, musty rowboat. They were out in the middle of the ocean searching for this monstrosity. Unfortunately, they had been looking for nearly six hours without any luck.
“Chaz-kun, I really don’t think it’s here. We need to head back inland. We’ve been at this since the crack of dawn!”
“Never! We came down here, we came out here into the middle of the ocean, all for some food! I love food! I wanna try this new meal they got brewin’ in there! I’m not gonna let it slip out of my hands because some STUPID fish wants to play hard to get! I’ll get it, just you watch. You hear me? Huh?! You stupid ass fi-”
The fishing pole docked near the front of their miniscule rowboat tugged lightly. The line began running deeper and deeper into the water. Chaz and Ibby quickly grabbed hold of the pole, yanking it upwards. Whatever the hell this thing was, it was strong. Strong enough to keep Chaz and Ibby at bay. They pulled and yanked, trying their best to get this thing up to the surface. “What did I tell you?! I told you we would find it! C’moooon baby!” The two mustered up all the strength they could, finally pulling the behemoth to the surface. When the creature that had ahold of their hook emerged… it was nothing more than a small sea bass. “Damnit!”
“Ya see, Chaz-kun? I told you. Nothing is here, we’re not gonna find it. It’s just a legend. Let’s head back home.” Chaz’s head hung low, obviously saddened by the fact that they couldn’t find the mythical beast. Even more so, he wasn’t going to be able to taste the new dish! “Alright… I guess we should head back now-...” Right as the blond human finished his sentence, something BIG snatched the small bass off the surface, dragging it down into the depths. The line began reeling, faster and faster each second. Chaz grabbed ahold of the rod once more, yanking it back. When he did, he was pulled forward with a much stronger force. “So you wanna play this game, huh?!” Chaz yanked the pole back. The creature jerked harder. Before long, Chaz was having a damn tug-o-war with the thing. “Chaz-kun! Let go or you’re gonna get pulled in with it…!” “Never!”
That was the bad thing about Chaz. He had a spirit that would never give up, especially when it came to food. No one came between him and some new meal, not even Ibby. Before Chaz could give it one more yank, the boat had started moving forward at a rapid pace. Soon enough, the bow was slicing through waves like a hot knife through butter, and Chaz was holding on for dear life. It was like sitting in a turbo car, going max speed. His eyelids were pulled back, lips flapping like a damn horse. Ibby clutched onto the side of the boat, his tail flapping in the wind. “HOLD ON!” Despite the salty water stinging against his eyeballs, Chaz was able to make out some type of solid structure protruding from the water a good distance away. With the way they were being pulled, it was as if this monster was leading them straight to it. “Chaz-kun!! We have to get off, now! We’re gonna crash!!!” As they got closer and closer, the duo was able to make out a small island with a house on it.
Suddenly, the creature made a b-line to the right, violently jerking the pole from Chaz’s hands and sending the boat flying into the air. Much like a rocket, they propelled through the air, the bow of the boat aiming right down at the house on the island. “OH MY KAMI!!!!!!” They were coming in fast, nothing in the world would be able to stop them. They were about to ruin someones house, and there was no way they would be able to stop it.

Toma had been just gotten done with his training session for the day. Nothing major, but it had been a decent workout and enough to keep in him shape. Which was more than he could say for his wife, Ninjin. The former Super Saiyaness had dropped in power considerably since she had bore Toma’s children. Her belly had swelled, and soon enough out popped twin bundles of joy that Toma loved very dearly. He couldn’t get upset at Ninjin for getting out of shape, though. It’s not like he didn’t find her attractive, she was still stronger than Toma had been when he arrived on Earth! It’s just he hadn’t expected such a massive drop after her pregnancy.
He was sitting outside his home, holding his daughter in his lap, watching her nap, while his son was on the ground, tugging on and playing with Toma’s tail. He couldn’t help but smile as he relaxed with his family. It was such a good feeling. Toma had everything he could ever want. A loving, sexy wife, and two beautiful children. Yeup. Life was good.
But that was when the strong Ki nearby crossed his mind. His senses snapped back to reality as he realized, the energy was getting closer! Picking up his kids and setting them inside in their playpen, he walked back out his front door, and looked out at the sea. He loved the smell of the salt in the air. It was certainly nicer than Fukurou Forest, where he had lived previously. Scanning the waters for the energy, he saw a boat speeding along the water before getting flipped up into the air. It was heading straight for his house!
Toma quickly raised a hand above his head, a thin yellow Ki disc forming, its razor sharp edges making a “bzzzzt” sound as it spun around above his open palm. “Kienzan!” Toma shouted as he threw the disc forward, the disc spinning as it flew towards the boat. It was aimed in such a way that it would cut between Chaz and his friend, splitting the boat in half! Followed by that were two small Ki blasts, that vaporized the boat, leaving only Chaz and Iddy in the air.
But not only that. The large sea monster that Chaz had been hunting had jumped up out of the water in order to attempt to eat the two! Unfortunatly, it had jumped up in front of Toma’s Kienzan. With a loud crash, the now headless beast landed on the shores of the island, dead and it’s wound seared from the Ki’s heat.
Toma would then use his Zanzoken, appearing before Chaz and Iddy and catching them in the air. He wanted to yell and scream at them, but he wasn’t going to, not quite yet. He wanted to make sure these two weren’t harmed first.
After all, it wouldn’t be a fair fight if they were hurt.

(Thread PL: 54,515. Heavy Weights on. Weighted PL: 13,628.)
The sun was hanging high in the sky, reflecting off the ocean. A lovely day for a swim. A lovelier day for flying. That is what Raisu found himself doing, flying flow to the water, the force of his flight sending waves either which way. Cool ocean spray splashed into his face and hair as he flew. He loved the southern oceans. It had always been a treat in his childhood to go down to the beach with his mother and play among the sand and waves. He’d been such a sheltered and misbehaved child. Such treats had been a rarity for him, at least in his younger years. Raisu had calmed as he grew older, but as his temperament changed, so did his interests. Days that could be spent at the beach, he’d have rather spent learning to manipulate ki or practice martial arts, or even content himself with simple weight lifting.
But now he could see the value in such trips. The sea was beautiful. He found himself wishing he’d spent more time playing among the surf in his youth. The simple pleasures were what was best in life. But that ship had sailed. Luckily, he was an adult now and could spend as much time admiring the sea as he wanted. Or as little for that matter. The mountains were only a short fly away. As were the deserts and the forests. Hell, even space wasn’t outside the realm of possibility these days. The world was his to explore, one day at a time. There was so much to see and do, he might spend the rest of his days exploring and not see it all. But somehow he was okay with that. The idea that mysteries remained in the world was an oddly comfortable one. He’d never get bored.
And on top of that, there were so many folks to meet. Some weird, like the alien Green. Some villainous and treacherous, like the Doctor Breech and the blue android BREU. Some heroic like the fellow half-breed Articho. And some down right silly, like Chaz and his catfolk friend, Ibby. There were souls innumerable in this world, and he wanted to meet as many as he could. Variety was the spice of life.
Raisu had come a long way since he was a kid. He could barely even recognize himself some days. And the days he felt more in tune with the Raisu of yore were the bad ones. The days full of violent impulse and the desire to fight until he dropped. But hey, what could he do about that? It was in his blood. But that was a lame excuse, and he knew it. To let something like that define him and excuse him was ridiculous. He’d been raised an Earthling. It was how he thought and acted. He just needed to exercise a little self-control. Nothing he couldn’t handle, if he put his mind to it.
Such heavy thoughts for such a nice day. He chased his demons from his mind and shut the door behind them. No more for today, he told himself. Today was about enjoying the sunlight and that breeze that tasted of ocean salt. Today was about living for himself. Self-reflection and pity could wait until tomorrow. Negatives thoughts made for negative being. Positivity bred happiness. Or at least that was the doctrine Tsu Kini had given him. He’d lived by it for years now. Just keep smiling, Raisu. That is what she told him on his bad days. The days where he could have thrown a small car through a wall in rage. The days where he might have busted a hole in the sidewalk. On the days he might have, Kami forbid, really hurt someone. He’d hurt someone else before. Raisu hadn’t known his strength. Or he did, but it got away from him. The kid had been fine, just a broken arm. But the shame his mother had looked at him with… He shuddered to remember,
But that was the past. He was different now, kinder. Much kinder. And gentler as well. Some might say too gentle. After all, he’d shown the android BRUE mercy when he deserved none. Raisu could be stupid sometimes.
Somewhere in the distance, two ki signatures brushed against his mind. Familiar ones. Now where had he felt these before? First in the South Capitol and then the Eastern lands… The now familiar auras of none other than Chaz and Ibby, blond boy and catfolk as he’d come to know them. What were they doing out here? Probably eating or looking for more trouble. Perhaps he’d swing by and see what they were up too. What in the world were they up to, though? They were speeding along now, if Raisu had the ‘image’ in his mind right. What in the world, he thought. Well, he’d at least fly by and say “hi”.
And so he did, speeding along the ocean surface. And slowly it all came into view, unfolding before him like a finely crafted painting. A boat speeding at an island house, Chaz and Ibby guiding it like a rocket. A man firing ki at them. A damn sea monster rising from the ocean. Said sea monster getting decapitated by one Hell of an attack.
What in the Hell was he seeing? Was he hallucinating? Raisu had stopped by a seashore bar the night before but… No, this had to be real. Whatever the Hell was happening, he’d figure it out. “Chaz! Ibby!” He shouted. Hopefully they were okay. As much trouble as they had gotten him in, he had a certain liking for the odd duo. They were funny, in their own way. And he could appreciate humor. It was in rare supply these days. His tail twitched as closed the distance. Things were about to get interesting. Whoever this beach bum throwing ki was, he meant business. And why wouldn’t he? Chaz and Ibby had just launched a damn boat at his house.
Raisu just wanted to see this resolved. And perhaps get a look at that sea monster. Might be good eating.

Chaz and Ibby both clutched tightly onto the side of the boat. Chaz was extremely scared of heights, so being launched into the air like they were was a gigantic no-no. It was like that time where Ibby tried to teach Chaz how to fly. He became so scared that he nearly pissed himself! To most people, a gigantic spider terrified them. For Chaz? It was being anywhere from 20-50 feet in the air. Just something about not being able to plant his feet firmly on the ground and have control over his own body scared the crap out of him. To put it into layman's terms, Chaz would rather be facing a giant spider right now.
Before their boat crashed down upon the island house, it was suddenly sliced in half. Some type of yellow disc cut straight through the wooden dingy, spinning around so as to avoid Chaz and Ibby themselves. Chaz swore he felt some of his arm hair shave off through his sleeves, but he wasn’t entirely sure. Now, they were just in the air, no boat or anything. When Chaz laid his eyes upon the beach, there was noone there. Right on queue, a man appeared in front of them, grabbing ahold of Chaz and Ibby. He landed back on the beach, turning towards the ocean. Apparently, the gigantic beast that the delicious duo was chasing only moments before was dead. The disc-technique had decapitated it, allowing it’s massive body to fall back into the ocean, while it’s idle head landed upon the beach.
Chaz was absolutely amazed. What the hell kind of technique was that?! See? Everyone had a special move but him! And this one was absolutely nuts! With his eyeballs turning into yellow sparkles, Chaz thrashed around, happy as all get out. “No way, no way, no way, no way, no way!!! That was soooo coooool! Oh my kami! How did you do that?! Can I do that?! WOOOOWWW!” Ibby, on the other hand, was completely motionless and silent. Despite having his life literally flash before his eyes in that one moment, he was happy to have been saved. He wasn’t really the rowdy one of the two. He just let his little feline head rest, before thanking the man who had saved them. “Arigato..”
Chaz stopped thrashing around for just a moment. Someone had called their names. A familiar voice, that was. Chaz looked up in the air to see his buddy Raisu, the red-headed hybrid. They seemed to run into each other almost every where they went! It was cool, though. Chaz had come to trust and like Raisu. One of the only people left on Planet Earth that Chaz could actually trust. He had saved their life not only once, but twice. Once in South City during the Saiyan attack, and then back during their little escapade of impersonating Rockstars. Everything went haywire then, and they ended up battling against two ugly-demon hit men. Chaz hadn’t seen Raisu since, but he was glad that his red-headed friend was able to get away. Chaz and Ibby took the blow for the cops. Luckily, they were able to play it off as if him and Ibby were undercover agents with a secret government, investigating some type of drug-trafficking that they thought was going on during the concert.
“Hi Raisu!” “Raisu, hey!”
Then another thing flashed across his mind; He still had to get the meat from that beast! He pointed towards the decapitated head of the beast rolling around the beach, talking directly to the man who was holding him. “Yo, are you gonna use that? We kinda need it!”

Toma looked down at the two people who he was carrying. One was quiet and polite, the other rowdy and obnoxious. Toma let out a sigh. Fucking kids. He dreaded the day his own children reached that stage, but he’d deal with it when the time came. The blonde haired kid was freaking out about Toma’s Kienzan. There was a bit of pride Toma took in that, but not enough to save him from Toma’s wrath. Dropping both of the people he’d rescued onto the ground, he turned to Chaz.
He’d let Chaz stand up, then he’d throw a solid punch, enough to send Chaz reeling back at least. “What the hell were you thinking?!” Toma shouted back at them in an angry tone. “You could have crashed into my house! My wife and children are in there, you know that?!” He shouted, staring Chaz down. “What if I hadn’t been here!? What if my kids had gotten hurt, huh?!” He continued to go off, scowling, his tail getting a bit frazzeld.
“What could possess you to go chasing a beast that big without the proper equipment?!” He yelled again, a glimps of his fullest power leaking through despite his heavy weights and his Ki suppression. He placed a hand on his forehead. He couldn’t understand the thought process of these two idiots. He was just glad that both he and his wife were more than strong enough to vaporise any threats that came near their home. Any earth threats, anwyays.

What in the Hell were Chaz and Ibby doing here? He’d last seen them in the East, at that ‘concert’. Which had actually been a trap, or at least Raisu understood it this way, set by two demonic hitmen. But they’d taken care of that with very little trouble. The hitmen had been strong, Raisu supposed, but it was really Raisu’s own handicap that had kept them competitive for longer than a few minutes: his power limiting weights. He went just about everywhere with them. He was actually wearing them now.
It was one of the few consistencies in his life, at the moment. Aside from Chaz and Ibby, apparently. These guys were everywhere it seemed. And everywhere they went, trouble followed. For a brief, insane moment, Raius’s mind was floored by the fact that perhaps they’d come across another hitman. It would be their luck. Escaping an assassination attempt and the Earthling police, only to wander into the clutches of another.
But he quickly chased that possibility from his mind. The man wasn’t tearing into them like mad, like a dog to a food bowl. Either this was one courteous assassin, or there was something else going on here. The man did seem angry, though. From the closing distance, Raisu could see that the man was yelling at them. Quite viciously, in fact. Now, Raisu could not say he was well versed in the world and conduct of professional killers, but somehow he doubted they were all so angry and shout-y, if that was a word. He closed the distance even more, and it was then that he felt the full brunt of the man’s ki signature. Strong. Very strong. A fair bit stronger than Raisu, in fact. Worlds apart from Chaz and Ibby. This might get interesting, thought Raisu. Very interesting, indeed. Chaz and Ibby had a way of picking the strong ones to piss off. In fact, the man even sent a solid punch flying into Chaz's face. Well, that has to hurt, thought Raisu.
Raisu had finally closed the distance in full, and landed on the beach. He looked between the three others on the beach, and then at the sea monster. A damn sea monster. Really? Were they all okay with the fact that a decapitated monster was sitting on the beach? And now they were fighting, maybe? Raisu had seen some odd sights in his day, but what had just unfolded in front of him took the cake, and the table too. He took a moment to gather his thoughts, so his statements would not come out as a garbled mess of words, consisting of ‘Chaz’, ‘Boat’ and ‘damn sea monster’. With a sigh, he finally spoke:
“Chaz,” he said, directing his speech to the blond man, “What in the Hell is happening?”
And then he turned his head towards the man who’d thrown the attack.
“Sorry ‘bout this. They kind of cause trouble wherever they go.”

The man dropped both Ibby and Chaz to the sandy ground below. They raised themselves, brushing off any specks that peppered their outfits. “Hey, thanks Mr.! If you hadn’t caught us when you did, we could have crash- DOOOUUFHHH!” As Chaz was beginning to look up towards the man who saved them, his fist was being pressed flush against the blonde human’s jaw. The sheer force behind his punch caused Chaz’s eyeballs and tongue to bulge from their orifices. Saliva cascaded from between his lips. It was one hell of a freaking punch! Chaz was sent flying high through the air. When he finally was able to land, it was on his head. With the position he fell in, he went into the sand, head-first. From the tip of his cranium, to the tip of his shoulders, Chaz was buried in sand. His feet began to kick around helplessly, and he tried using his hands for leverage, pushing and pushing against the sand in order to get himself out. Play this during the second paragraph Ibby quickly threw himself in front of Toma, holding his arms out. “Sir, please! Wait! We are extremely sorry for this. I am almost one-hundred percent positive if Chaz knew you had kids and a wife in that house, he wouldn’t have done this! But.. I did say almost.. You never really know with him.. That’s besides the point! Sir, please do not hit Chaz anymore! If there is someone you have to hit, you will hit me! It’s my fault. I could have convinced him to turn the boat around and go back to the mainland, but I was just as hungry as he was. So.. if there is anyone you need to be hitting sir, it’s me!” As timid as Ibby always was, this time was different. When it came to Chaz being in trouble, he was willing to lay his life down on the line to protect him. Chaz may not have been blood, but he was very damn close to it. Plus, Ibby owed Chaz a hell of a lot. The blond human had been there on numerous occasions, and not once had Ibby been able to repay the debt. Right now was his time, so he was going to protect his brother, and take his beating like a man. Raisu landed right beside them. Although Ibby paid no attention to him, and Chaz couldn’t respond due to him being two feet underground, it gave the little red feline some comfort in knowing he had someone else there that he could trust. Raisu was definitely someone Ibby would call friend. Raisu, much like Chaz, had saved Ibby’s life on more than one occasion. He was kind of like their savior, if you thought about it. Raisu was always there whenever the Delicious Duo faced someone they knew were much stronger than them. Plus, they both had red hair! Ibby stood tall, with his arms open wide. Even though his face held a strong urge of confidence, his legs trembled. He could feel just how powerful this guy was. He was one of the strongest people Ibby had ever seen in his entire life, and that is no exaggeration. He wanted to move so badly. He didn’t want to take any punches at all, because he knew they would hurt like hell, and probably even permanently damage him. But this was for his brother, and if it meant saving him, there was nothing Ibby would not endure.

Toma stared down at the feline man that had stood between himself and Chaz. The dust around them had begun to stir up some due to Toma’s energy. If Ibby were to continue looking at Toma, he might see a vision of a large ape behind Toma, simply due to the angry feeling of Toma’s energy. But then, Toma let out a sigh, his Ki falling back to usual levels. “Fine.” He spoke, turning, before walking down the beach towards the sand. “If he has someone that’s willing to die for him, he can’t be all bad…” Toma spoke out. “And I’m not a murderer. What you two did was beyond stupid. That’s true. But I’m not going to kill or maim you over it.” He continued. “I guess my anger got the better of me there. Sorry about that. When it comes to my family, I can get touchy.” He said, before turning to Ibby, and the now presumably-upright Chaz, and taking on a fighting stance.
“We both know that if I were to fight any of you one-on-one, it wouldn’t be fair. So come at me, both of you! Your friend up there may even join in if he wishes.” Toma spoke, smirking some, his Saiyan tail unravelling from his waist. “You must learn the error of your ways somehow, but I am a fair man. Plus, I need a good warm up. So come at me!”

Raisu sighed. Man, these two really were trouble. Ibby had put himself between Chaz and the man. Raisu cringed as he was expecting Ibby to be eviscerated where he stood, but it never came. Instead, the man spoke, apparently impressesed that chaz had someone willing to die for him. Raisu nodded. It was particularly impressive. Could Raisu say the same? Likely not, aside from his mother. His was the path of a vagabond. Raisu had those he was willing to die for, but nobody he had the same kind of relationship with that Chaz and Ibby did. Such a bond was impressive in its own way. It had to be, if it was going to stop Chaz from being ground to a fine, messy pulp.
And then the man offered to fight. Hell, he even brought Raisu into it. For him, it might be a warm up. And much the same for Raisu, but perhaps a bit more strenous. But for Chaz and Ibby, this kind of fight was outside what they were used to. Sure, Chaz and Ibby had held their own admirably against Saiyans and demons. But Raisu had felt the extent of this man's true power. At least it wasn't deadly.
"Sure," shouted Raisu, "I'll join in. I love a good fight. Chaz, Ibby, why don't you take first swing? After all, this is your mess."

Chaz pressed the palms of his hands against the moist sand. After struggling for quite some time, the young human was able to remove himself from his early grave. When he did rise, he couldn’t see a thing. A very thick layer of wet sand covered his face. It was terrible. The sand was everywhere! In his ears, nose, mouth, hair. Chaz shook himself around like a dog trying to dry itself off. Sand flew everywhere, looking as if a mini tornado had swept through and carried it all off. He tilted his head to the side, slamming the open palm of his hand against his ear. Much like a river, the sand gushed from his ear. He did the same to his other ear, yielding the same result. He finally turned his attention back to the trio ahead. Ibby was standing in front of Chaz, blocking him from the man with the epic disc attack. He was facing away from them, talking about how Chaz himself couldn’t be a bad guy if he had someone willing to sacrifice themselves for him. Was that was Ibby was doing? With his head buried underneath all of that sand, Chaz didn’t hear a thing of what was going on. Sure, he heard muffled voices, but he couldn’t make out what they were saying. Was Ibby.. trying to shield Chaz from this guy? Ibby on the other hand, let out a sigh of relief when the disc-man turned his back, saying that he wouldn’t murder or maim them. He stood upright, adjusting his vest. Of course, what they had did was very stupid. If they had injured one of this guy’s kids, or even his wife, they’d probably be dead right now. There would have been no ifs, ands, or buts. The guy woulda’ killed the two on the spot. How did Ibby know that? This guy was freakin’ tough. Before he turned around, Ibby could swear that for a split second, he saw the appearance of a giant ape behind him. He kind of brushed it off, thinking that when someone is almost facing certain death, it was ok to hallucinate. As Ibby was lost in thought, Chaz placed his hand upon his brother’s shoulder. He stood, a pearly white, envious grin spread across his lips. This guy wanted to fight Chaz, Ibby, and even Raisu! Chaz slightly pushed his brother back. Ibby was a little taken back by this, but something in Chaz’s eyes told him that everything was ok. “Thank you, Ibby. Raisu and I can take it from here!” A small shockwave spread outwards from Chaz’s feet. The shock wave itself toppled the sand, giving it a rippling effect. White aura surged around the blond human’s body, flowing up into the air, giving his ki the appearance of white flames. While his power was nothing compared to this guy and Raisu’s, it was evident that he had gotten stronger. And there was no doubt that he would continue improving his strength. (WARNING: GIF INSIDE)Gif inside! Raisu gave Chaz his que. He was to attack first. This was it. While this hadn’t been a serious battle, probably not even one to the death, Chaz was gonna treat it like it was. Ibby was willing to take a horrific beating and give up his life for Chaz. Whether or not he lost this fight, he was gonna make damn sure he put up a good one. Without a second glance, Chaz launched himself forward, his white aura trailing behind him in the air. He swung out his right leg, aiming to slam his heel across the man’s face. A very basic maneuver, but it was Chaz’s prefered way! Right out of the gate! "Do your best, Chaz-kun!"

Toma was quite suprised that Chaz had decided to come at him on his own. The poor boy. If only he knew. While Chaz thought he was moving quite fast, Toma saw it in slow motion due to the vast difference in their power. He brought his leg up, attempting to land a kick on Toma’s face.
Simply to prove a point, Toma decided not to move. The kick connected, and on Chaz’s end it would feel like he just slammed his leg into a wall of Kachin. Toma wasn’t even phased. His head didn’t move a single inch, despite the loud impact sound Chaz’s kick had made. Toma brought his arm up, grabbing onto Chaz’s leg, looking the boy directly in the eye.
“You’ll have to do better than that, boy.” Toma spoke, before moving his arm, and Chaz, behind him, throwing him clear out over the ocean. He’d turn back, looking up at Raisu, bringing his hands up to his chest and cracking his knuckles. “I said I wanted a warm up, not a nap.” Toma would say, glaring at Raisu. “I can sense that you’re stronger than your friend here. Well then? Come on!”

Chaz decided to open with a kick. He moved quickly, striking at the Saiyan’s face with his blow. Raisu smirked as he watched it unfold. He found it interesting that the Saiyan did not even care to move away from Chaz’s kick. He let the blond boy strike him in the face. Interestingly enough, he didn’t seem to be in any pain. He just took the blow like it was nothing.
The two looked at each for a moment, as if frozen in time. Raisu had to admit, it got his blood going. He wanted to dive on in, but he let this unfold in front of him. This man obviously was out of Chaz’s league. But was he within Raisu’s? Raisu liked to think that he was. And if he wasn’t? All the better. Raisu liked a challenge. He couldn’t help it. It was in his blood, it was part of him.
And even better, the man implored Raisu to attack him. He wanted a warm up? Raisu would give him one. Raisu would give him a work out and then some. There’d be no holding back from Raisu.
“You want a work out, huh? Well, I’m going to give you one and give you Hell, too!”
Raisu dashed at the man, floating through the air at great speeds. In a flash, he brought his fist up, intending to smash into Toma’s stomach. If it hit, hopefully the man would feel it.

As Chaz dashed through the air, something felt off to him. This guy wasn’t moving. He just stood there, ready to take on Chaz’s attack. Was he stupid? If he was, Chaz was surely going to show him the error of his ways.
Chaz’s kick connected, landing flush on the man’s jaw. “Booyah! Got ‘em!” Chaz soon realized that nothing happened. This guy didn’t budge. He didn’t even blink. Chaz’s body froze in the air. It was as if time all together stopped around them. It was only this guy and Chaz. His aura flared up, acting as a sort of rocket to propel him further into the man, trying to inflict a tiny amount of damage. Still, nothing. This guy was like a fucking Kachin wall. Chaz had never experienced anything like this in his life. A guy he could not hurt. A person he had absolutely no physical effect on. It was truly scary.
In nearly the blink of an eye, the man grabbed Chaz’s leg. All of the blond’s aura dissipated in an instant. His pupils shrunk down, indicating his level of fear. The man stated that Chaz had to do better than that. Before he could even react, the man leisurely tossed Chaz into the air, sending him flying over the ocean.
Chaz crashed into the salt sea water. His body sunk all the way down to the sandy sea floor, resting completely. Ibby rushed to the shore, placing the ends of his paws against his mouth. There was a deep look of concern in his eyes for Chaz’s safety. Since he could not sense ki, he didn’t know if his brother was alright or not. “Chaz-kun! Chaz-kun!!”
Chaz stared upwards, past the surface of the water. He was looking at the sun. The sun was boaring down on him like an avalanche. The saltiness of the water stung his eyes like a million little bees, but he wasn’t focused on that. What he was focused on was the fact that he was so weak. He was utterly weak compared to these guys. He was just some fly on the wall, and this little confrontation proved it. He wasn’t really hurt at all. Not physically, anyways. Why was he so weak? Why couldn’t he make a difference?
“Everytime.. Everytime I try something in life.. Anything..! Why do I always fail..? I end up making a fool of myself every single time.. What the hell am I doing with my life..? Why am I chasing after such hopeless dreams..?”
*Flashback.*
“Oi, oi! i can get up there, too!” young Chaz pointed up at a large tree branch suspended high in the air. Several other kids surrounded the tree. All of them were taking turns climbing the tree and touching the tree branch. It wasn’t that impressive of a feat, but for 6 year old kids, it definitely made you cool. That’s what the young Chaz wanted. He just wanted to fit in. The only way to accomplish this right now would be to climb this tree and touch the branch.
The kids let Chaz pass through their inner circle. He licked his lips, readying up for the big climb. If he could do this, he’d finally be recognized by all of these kids. Within seconds, Chaz dashed off, climbing the tree like a squirrel. For the first time in his life, he felt like he was doing something right. He was gonna climb this tree, touch the branch, and be the coolest kid around. He’d be a man amongst boys! And for a while there, everyone thought he would achieve this goal as well. That was, until Chaz’s head slammed against the tree branch itself. Seeing stars, the young human fell straight back to the ground. The impact from hitting the branch left a gigantic red welt on the top of his head, nestled in between all of his blond hair.
“Ouch!”
Chaz’s failure elicited a roar of laugher from the crowd of kids. They clutched their little stomachs, bending over cackling. The supposed ‘leader’ of the little group walked forward, kicking Chaz in the head. He was laughing too, pointing his index finger down upon Chaz. “Gyaaahahagya! Really? You’re pathetic! You can’t even climb a tree without screwing up, Chaz! How do you expect to find “Ruby’s Salvation” like this?! Gyaaahhahaha!” The boy took on a mocking tone when he mentioned the Mythical Dish, as if he didn’t believe in it at all. “It’s fake, you loser!”
As the boy trot off with his little cliche of friends, so did the group, leaving a young Chaz to sob on the ground. Alone.
*Hours later*
“Gghghhh… Gwaaaahhh!” Chaz dug his bloody fingers into the bark of the tree, pulling himself upwards. His clothes were tattered. His skin was littered with scratches and bruises. His fingers were torn to shreds, most of his fingernails bent back. The palms of his hands and ends of his fingers were punctured with hundreds of tiny splinters, looking very much like that of a porcupine. Tears gushed from his determined eyes, rolling down his face and mixing with the blood that was smeared across his cheeks and neck. He jabbed his fingers into the bark, pulling himself up, inch by inch.
His fingers and arms gave away on him, forcing him to fall back down to the ground below. His body hit hard, as it had many times before. He brought his blood soaked hands to his eyes, trying to hold back the tears. Young Chaz was in a lot of pain. Not only physically, but emotionally. He didn't want to quit, there was almost no way he could keep going. He kicked his feet out, slamming the heels of his shoes against the ground. "Why!!!!"
Chaz wanted to call it a day. He wanted to throw in the towel. But he knew if he did, he would be proving those kids right. Those kids didn't deserve to be right in this instance. Slamming his fists against the bloody grass, young Chaz lifted himself up, and pierced the bark with his gory fingers, ready to climb once again.
Rivers of blood spiralled down his black and blue arms, dripping to the red-stained grass below. “It is real! It IS real! I know it’s real…. Ruby’s Salvation is real!!!! …. I will find it..!”

Toma couldn’t help but grin when Raisu stated that he was going to give Toma hell. “Bold words!” Toma shouted back as the man charged at him. He felt that this one was far stronger than his blonde friend. “But can you back it up?!” Toma challenged him, as he got closer. But Toma didn’t move. He didn’t try to block or defend, instead he let Raisu get close. At the last moment, Toma’s Ki flared up to it’s fullest, his blue Ki aura surrounding him. Raisu’s punch would find itself lodged in Toma’s stomach, and Toma grunted as he was pushed back a few inches. But he grabbed onto Raisu’s hand with all his strength with his left arm. “Good!” Toma spoke, looking Raisu in the eye. His tail would unravel, shooting out and wrapping around Raisu’s upper right thigh if Raisu didn’t break away, and he’d lift Raisu into the air, away from the ground. “But can you withstand this?!” Toma shouted, as he brought his free right hand up to Raisu’s chest. A golden Ki orb was already formed in his hand. “FINAL FLASH!” Toma shouted, the large Ki orb lossing the power stored within it, in a brilliant golden flash intended to send Raisu flying. [KP: ⅓ Remaining. Final Flash used on Raisu, if Toma successfully picks him up.

Hell yeah, thought Raisu, of course they were bold words. And he was pretty damn sure he could back them up. There was a big difference between the two of them in terms of ki, but Raisu was fairly certain be could hold his own. Of course, he'd say that about a lot of things. But he was pretty sure about this. It might be Saiyan arrogance speaking or it might be Earthling pride, but Raisu was confident.
He was even more confident when his fist collided with the man's stomach, causing him to slide back just a few inches. Good. Raisu hoped it hurt. But something odd happened: the Saiyan's blue aura flared and Raisu's fist was stuck in the Saiyan's stomach. What the Hell, he thought. Quickly, he tried to pull bacl, but the Saiyan's hand wrapped around Raisu's own. And what's more, the Saiyan's tail wrapped around Raisu's leg.
"What the Hell...?" Raisu repeated, aloud this time. But his answer was quickly answered: the Saiyan brought his hand up to Raisu, a golden orb of energy floating in his hand. And then he screamed the name of his attack: Final Flash.
In a flash, Raisu's muscles tightened, preparing to burst away. It would be rough though, given the Saiyan's grip on him. It would be down to the millisecond if Raisu was going to avoid this. Raisu flailed, trying to break free of the Saiyan's grip. And so he did, leaving a poor, fuzzy image of himself behind. But he was not quite quick enough. The ki blast burned just barely at his chest.
He appeared behind the other Saiyan, backstepping quickly.
"Not bad, guy. But I'm not gonna lie down and take it that easily." KP: 2/3
[SU1] Afterimage used! Has a defense of 13,628 vs the Final Flashes 13,860! That's 232 PL of bleed through damage.
