The android had expected Raisu to go for a Ki blast, or perhaps a charging attack, but not this. He found himself swooped off his feet and fell onto his behind in the dirt. The machine leaned up and glared at Raisu, attempting to launch his fist at the boy in front of him.
"Hold still, you slippery monkey!"
Polar, in the meantime, had managed to survive the android's brutal attack, which left a crater in the ground and even lit some trees aflame, but found himself greatly injured even further agitated by his not-quite-healed Kanassa wounds. He managed to pull himself up, but found himself coughing. Smoke had consumed the area around him. A wildfire was spreading, and spreading quickly.

Though his attack had landed and the android had fallen like the tree moments before, but it was not long before their foe was back into it. The android rose to a knee and stared daggers at Raisu. Had he hit a nerve? There was no way he did any real damage. No, he likely did just enough to really get his foe going now. The android captain lunged at him, fist rocketing towards Raisu's stomach. The captain was just as fast as before. The distance was closed so quickly, the android was practically a blur as his fist flew at Raisu. The hard fist of the robotic captain slammed into his stomach, the wind from his lungs rushing from them in a great hurry.
Raisu flew back, the force of the punch propelling him. He slammed into the ground, scattering grass and dirt as he continued to slide back. Breathe, he thought. Slowly, Raisu forced himself to breathe, gasping to replace the air that had been forcibly exiled from his lungs. This guy was strong. Really strong. Raisu forced himself to his feet, smoke now wafting around the clearing, obscuring his vision and burning his nose. A fire? How had this started? Riaus swallowed. Who knew how long it would burn? The smoke was thick and black, and it tasted like death. But as least it meant the wood that had caught flame was wet.
Off to his side, he heard coughing. The alien. That's right, he was still injured. Raisu turned his head to him, and shouted out.
"You know you can run away, right? Get away from here. I'll figure something out!"

Polar panted, and fell onto one knee, with both hands held onto the ground to keep him from falling over completely. Blinking, he found darkness ready to consume him. He had to stay conscious. He had to. The android turned away from Raisu for a moment to see Polar, who she had been staring at. Both him and the stubborn Arcosian seemed to ignore her pleas. The latter glared up at the android, seemingly enraged. He suddenly blasted into the air toward the captain, who barely dodged it.
Well...almost.
The android chuckled, before he heard electric crackles, followed his sizzling. Looking down, he found that his left arm had been torn clean off. And it was that that seemed to finally make the android snap. His face engulfed in complete rage, he slowly turned his heard to face the creature that had his arm impaled through his mighty horns.
Polar seemed to have summoned some strength, at least enough to keep him conscious. He looked over to Raisu sternly raised a brow at her question. It was almost patronizingly insulting to him that she would suggest he retreat. But he wouldn't hold it against her. He didn't have the mental capacity for it.
The android angrily stared down the Arcosian and faltered, before extending his hand--his unscathed hand--toward the Arcosian, who turned a little too late to face the android.
"GENOCIDE BREAKER!"
It happened so fast, the attack. It seemed to be the mightiest that the captain had in his arsenal; it blew down all the trees in it's path and left a half-mile trail of dirt and ash. The Arcosian was nowhere to be seen.
There was no mistake. He had been utterly vaporized.

Why didn't the Arcosian listen? He was in no state to fight this foe. Not that Raisu was, but at least he wasn't on the brink of death. But no, the alien was just too defiant. In fact, he even charged the android captain, hurtling through the air at him. What was he going to do? Tackle him?
And then it happened. Crackling filled the air, alongside the sound of snapping flames and tree limbs. The arcosian had severed the android's arm, and the limb fell away. The android's face turned to a mask of rage as he looked at the Arcosian. A feeling of dread came over Raisu, as surely something was about to go poorly. And so it did.
The android screamed an attack, extending his still intact hand towards the Arcosian. Bright light filled the area, and there was a flash. No, thought Raisu. He extended his own hand, but he was too late, too slow. The arcosian was gone. As if destroyed utterly. No, that couldn't be. Why? Why did he have to kill him?
A fire filled Raisu's veins, and he could feel a burning anger spread in his chest. Why did people have to be so freaking terrible to one another? They could have talked this out, but no. It was too late for that. Raisu screamed, as if challenging the android with unintelligable noise. He burst at the captain, fist extended, a swift uppercut aimed for the jaw. He didn't care if it connected or not. He just wanted blood. Or oil, in this case.

The captain grinned in satisfaction at his apparent, so much that he didn't even remember Raisu was still here. The Saiyan took that advantage (though he didn't seem to care either way) and attacked, smacking the unsuspecting android in the jaw. There was an audible crack as the captain flew into the air, which indicated that Raisu might have broken something.
As he stood back up, there was an opportunity to see how much damage the android had really sustained. Not only was his arm reduced to a sizzling stump and his armoring and false skin burnt to reveal his less-human innards, but he also spoke in untranslatable electric hisses and mechanical screeching.
"You...I....kill...." he choked out in a corrupt, modulated version of his original voice.
Still, even with the injuries sustained by the android, combined with Raisu's rage-boosted power, the latter possessed only a fraction of the captain's total power. And it seemed he finally had a clear shot at the Saiyan.
Then there was a blur and just as the android lengthened his arm to attack, a familiar black horn pierced through his belly. The Arcosian had survived, but how he did was anyone's guess.
There was a moment of pause as the situation came to be fully comprehensive. Polar then slung the captain from his horns, who landed onto the ground and rolled to Raisu's feet, alive but barely functioning.
"He's all yours," Polar uttered, unfussy.
Turning away, the Arcosian didn't even give Raisu a chance to speak. He seemed to have had enough of dealing with this, and it was easy to see why. First time on Earth and he was nearly murdered. And he doubted that this scenery--as he looked around at all the havoc reaked--would reflect well on him if more arrived. It was best to leave the situation before it progressed, he thought.
Perhaps Earth was not the best choice after all.

The blow connected, a satisfying feeling that made Raisu's heart leap as the android flew away from him. There was a loud crack as he flew, like metal breaking apart. Perhaps he'd hit the android too hard. Not that he cared in the moment. Raisu was a little too enraged for that. The android stood again, and it became obvious just how damaged, and inhuman, he was. He was a mass and mess of burnt "skin", wires, and metal. On instinct, Raisu reached out with his mind, to see how far along the man was, but there was nothing. Oh, he thought, that's right.
The captain tried to speak, but no words came at first. Only electric hissing and crackling. But Raisu figured that whatever he was trying to say could not be pleasant. And then the words came. Raisu had called it. They certainly were not pleasant. Kill him? Raisu would like to see him try. Little did he know just how outmatched they were.
The android went to attack, and Raisu began to brace himself on reflex. He was ready for an attack that never came. Raisu looked at the scene, trying to piece things together. Somewhere along the way, the alien, Polar, has survived. His horn had pierced the stomach of the android, and more crackling filled the air to accomodate the flames. And then, the alien slung the captain as Raisu's feet, leaving him to Raisu.
The young hybrid could only look at the arcosian in surprise. Quickly, he bent down to the android and looked at him. Out cold, it seemed. At least Raisu thought so. The perfect time for Raisu to split. He shot to his feet, and watched the Arcosian go. And then, he sprinted after him.
"Hey, wait!"
He came up behind him, and grapped the alien's massive shoulder. Raisu was panting now, the battle sense leaving his body. But he only had one thing to say to the arcosian.
"Hey, thanks for your help back there."
Ironic, really. Here he was, thanking the alien when he'd set out to help him.

By now, the alien had reverted back to his suppressed form. He looked to see who was grasping his shoulder. Of course, it was the young man, Raisu. He thanked Polar for his help, which the Arcosian replied with a nod. He was a man of few words, it seemed.
Looking up to the sky, he sighted copters and gunships beginning to swarm the area, some of them bearing the blue and white colors that the captain wore. If they were here because of the disaster, it was likely they weren't aware of Raisu and Polar's presences.
Returning his gaze to the Earthling, he spoke grimly, "This is where we part ways."

As the helicopters buzzed above them and the fire raged around them, Raisu grinned. Sure, Polar was a little on the violent side. Some might even call him cold. But the two of them had just been through a tense moment together. And, without him, who knew what would have happened to Raisu. At least the two of them had survived. Even if it had meant making a little bit of a mess. He patted Polar on the back one last time before stepping away from him.
"Right. See you around. And stay safe."
Raisu turned on his heels and ran off into the forest, stepping over fallen limbs and burning vegetation as he went. He'd be fine. After all, he'd just survived an encounter with a robotic captain. He was on top of the world, nothing could hurt him now. Well, his body hurt. It ached all over from the android captain's assault. But he was tougher for it.
As he ran, Raisu thought of Polar. What a strange encounter. He wished him well. The alien would need it, being stranded on Earth. Hopefully he'd do alright for himself. Times were tough out there. It was hard to hold on to oneself, keep sight of the bigger picture. It was easy to go down the wrong path and end up on the wrong side of things. It was common to be hurt, and difficult not to hurt others. But Raisu was confident he'd be okay. Polar seemd to be a tough cookie, and hopefully one who had a good head on his shoulders. The world could use people like that.

Polar watched Raisu fly out of sight, before returning his gaze down at the android. He briefly mused finishing off the piece of scrap, but decided against it. Even if it the beating didn't totally demolish it's inner-workings, it was likely too greatly injured to broadcast what it saw. Besides, he thought. An explosion would likely signal his presence.
And as fast as he arrived here, Polar was gone in a flash, flying into the air, south of the site. The pilots didn't seem to notice him, as they did not pursue. If they did, they simply dismissed it as a bird.
One thing Polar forgot however, was his pod, which lie among the wreckage as evidence of his crimes. Even though it couldn't be directly connected to Polar, it did tell the Earth one thing: an alien invasion had begun.
