[PL 158,747 / Full moon out] The rubble and decayed city still lay in destruction in the majority of the city. Scorched earth and destroyed buildings slowly falling apart. The sound of creaking metal and the stink of ash often filling the air. With all the danger cleaning was going slow as with the android threat still at large repair was still dangerous to begin. These wounds would likely not be mended or begin healing till after Vi returned to his normal state and even then... It was likely some pains would never truly fade. For many this would always be a place many fell victim and some would remember their death. The night sky above holding only stars and a full moon that gleamed down brightly illuminating the night. For some this would always be a place of confusion as well. To Jarvis it was like this. Curious why he stuck his neck out for this planet and even more so why he felt inclined to accept the new challenges he brought onto himself. He was actually planning to fight in this Blue Banner and use them for his gain as well as aid against the supposed 'big threats' to earth. There was worse jobs of course and earth was a little better then most Arcosian space planets. But still something about everything of late only reminded him how broken it all was. Even know it felt like when the time came to face red he may find himself back in hell. The idea of it worse then death itself. Jarvis for the time had been adorned in sleeveless saiyan body suit. Military pants worn over the body suit and sturdy military boots covering his feet. The cold air didn't bother him in such light clothing though. Growing on in the chilled Arcose environment made it a little easier to take the elements of most planets once you knew the sting of Arcosian winds. Jarvis once again trying to forget about those days and just for tonight forget about Red and the danger to come. His face lightly cut at the lip and his left eye blackened. Bruises also covered his upper body and torso under his body suit hidden to the naked eye. He'd been running himself ragged with training and his body was on the bring of exhaustion. Still not sure himself if it was all to beat vi or avoid hell even more so. Both were good goals though... All he had to do was live and he could be on easy street if he played these new connections right. But his mind was far from plotting at the moment. Only a feint light was seen from the windows of one of the burned out buildings. A light flickering in the black of night the roof held together of this old tavern so at least no moon to accidentally peek at. Jarvis was sitting on the floor at the back of the destroyed tavern. Back on the wall with several bottles emptied rolling around at his feet. His saiyan tail freely moving about at his side rather lazy in motion as his blue hair was a little unkempt as well. The bottle in his hand would likely give quick conclusion he had drank all these strewn about empty bottles himself. This was just his way though you see. When things got to bad an his mind became plagued with the things that had been done to him or he had to do since he became a boy on the run in Arcosian space... He chose to drown out the memories. Eyes drifting along the room and the light coming from a few lanterns he'd lit in the place. Perhaps he had chosen the ruins since he still felt in his mind like those guards were watching him. The ogres in hell had power and they knew when to use it too. They watched when danger loomed and the rip that freed him was made. Some part of him always kept that feeling even now like he was being watched or like he never truly escaped. He often wondered if it would ever go away this feeling as if his soul was not complete or like this was just continuation of his punishment. Rolling his eyes at the though as he'd throw back another strong few gulps placing the bottle to his lips. He'd hum lightly and seem to be whistling some sort of tune. The blue haired saiyan drowned as he was in his liquor still thought of home... Wondering if in fact with wyntre dead had his clan fallen too. Not that they'd likely even still remember him. With his senses numbed by all the alcohol as well he'd neglect to suppress his power. Nor was he feeling out for energies around him... If anyone wanted to come for him so be it. He was in one of those moods after all. Just whistling away thinking of the frozen tundras called home. Mimikku

The ruins that had brought her to her knees and that had broken her. For some reason she had returned to them after emerging from within them a few nights earlier. She was clad within a set of clothing not unlike what she had been wearing on that fateful day with some alterations. Slowly each of her steps drew her from the least extent of the damage created by Vi-Poi and the heroes who had tried to fight him. Despite the damage she had heard that the total deaths around the area had been very low. Which she had to guess was because of the scant few moments that she and others had given the others by their selfless actions of sacrifice. Yet now she looked nothing like the woman who had been magicified upon this battlefield.
Looking up at the full moon she felt a pang of nostalgia course through her body as she remembered watching the full moon on her own many a night as Ruto slept inside the inner most room of his chamber. She had known why and was happy he would do that but wished that he could of joined her. The one time that he did he had a specific device upon his head and it was upon the desert world of Appadora. That was a night she fondly remembered.
Yet her mind slowly snapped back as she felt a power from close by. It was familiar to her and yet foreign in the same light. Walking along in herspecially designed saiyan armor she approached the building. She was not hiding her ki at all as she walked up slowly as if driven by curiosity more than anything else. Her mind was running at a mile a minute pace as she made it to the entrance of the tavern. As she reached the entrance she felt a familiar tug at the back of her mind. :: Mimi be careful we just got back and I would prefer us to not get sent back to heaven so fast after getting back home… Not that there is a home for us to return to now anyways. Alright Lilith you have a deal. Plus this person seems stronger than I could even hope to be with your blessing coursing through my veins. So I will be keeping this peaceful. ::
Placing a hand onto the outer door she pushed it open and stepped in pulling it tightly shut behind her before opening up the next door just in case that this was a saiyan who was relaxing within this busted up tavern. Spying a man sitting there with his stark blue hair and demeanor it hit her where she had sensed this power before. This was the first casualty of the battle. The first who had stood up against the tyranny that Vi-Poi would bring to the world if his goal had gone on unopposed. Coughing lightly she raised her voice. “Care for some company from someone else who should not be here as well?”
Moving quietly after she spoke she moved to find an undamaged bottle of higher end scotch that was buried underneath a fallen shelf. Dusting it off she lifted up the bottle as she came and sat beside Jarvis. Bringing her hand up to the cap she popped the seal and opened the bottle as she grabbed a glass for herself. Pouring into the glass she turned to look at him. “Seems these ruins have something of a draw to them do they not? Especially for those of us who were sent to the Afterlife during the fight. “
Raising her glass up to Jarvis she gave him a toast before drinking the alcohol in a single gulp before letting out a light cough at the strength of the proof of the scotch she just drank. “Good stuff… Anyways I am Mimikku. A pleasure to meet someone I shared the battlefield with.” As she toasted him she allowed her eyes to linger and look him over. Making note of her beaten and bruised state she would have to assume either he fought Vi-pois personal guard or fell down a couple hundred steps a few dozen times or so. Both seemed like losing proposals to her.

Jarvis had perhaps felt the power approaching like a sixth sense now. But merely let the sensation that edged in at the nape of his neck be ignored. As if it was just in his mind or some passing chilled breeze of the night. Choking down heavy drinks and gulps occasionally. The modest lantern light that flickered now and again showing his face in full light for only small moments and his battered and bruised look of the moment. His body had been shoved through as many gravity sessions and against training droid and training droid since he got that key card to Big blu. But it never seemed enough and given all else that was happening was why he secluded himself.
He'd let himself get dulled a little to much as he'd cough taking in a gulp having to clear his throat from a light choking episode when he heard the voice. Someone was there and nearby and he'd let them slip close with ease. But given his present spirits he didn't care much really. Whatever was to happen was to happen but if they wanted troubled they'd have had to make the first move as he wasn't gonna go moving to attack anybody this night unless they really got him in a mood. He merely watched her at first not speaking as aqua eyes watched her carefully as she moved about searching for something it seemed. Before long finding one of the good bottles of the better brand stuff. Popping the cork but having enough refinement to go for a glass then take it from the bottle. Someone who enjoyed the drink and not just drowning in it. The idea of it made him grin a bit but the smile would fade as quick as it came.
"Heh...Lass, Tell you the truth I still wonder if this place isn't just hell trying to trick me...." Giving a little grin at her odd little toast. But it was a night of less worries and more so of trying to forget so he'd accept as his bottle clacked lightly against the glass and he seemed to drink down the old bottle a bit more. The label torn off but the warped glass color and dust upon the base of the bottle made it appear rather old. Something you had to know to look for really.
"Jarvis...." Answering her introduction with a light one of his own. Straitening his back against the wall letting out a light groan of pain as he did so quickly straitening himself and withholding any other sounds when the twists ached his body. "Soon it'll be time to fight him again... Hard to say how bad the next one will end... And they may draw us back but I don't think we're exactly of the same kind lass... I didn't see your soul wondering where I was sent. I had to... free myself from that prison." He'd say painting on that snake like grin. Drawing in a heavy breathe before giving off a slow exhaled sigh. His blue saiyan tail seemed to flicker about lightly in the dark. The girl was close enough that she'd if not had noticed it prior would likely now as close she was it would occasionally brush against her side lightly as it moved relaxed in motions not as focused given his current tipsy state. When they weren't speaking as well he seemed to keep staring at the door and the windows. When he got like this... He still thought they were out there. Watching him and waiting to capture him and drag him back. Like they tried to before he made it out of that rip.

“I doubt that hell would trick me as well as I know full well where I am. Sadly enough we are within the Northern Ruins as most are calling this place now. I doubt it will ever get rebuilt as how I hear many people talking.” Speaking softly as she held the glass at her lips she looked forward as she saw the halfway busted former backing of the bar. Watching as he emptied his bottle she glanced around finding a rather dusty glass in front of her which she reached for and wiped the dust off as she lifted the bottle and glass offering a glass to Jarvis.
Her trained gaze watched as he moved against the wall, and winced ever so slightly. As well as he seems to be in general discomfort while leaning against it. She looked at him with a bit of concern in her eyes as she refilled her own drink cup. This time however she sipped it slowly as she listened to him speak about how the fight would be starting back up soon. She nodded as she spoke back up her blood red eyes looking at him. “It is a shame that one who claimed to be working for the betterment of the planet could turn into such a monster with such ease. As for how bad it will end… Well worst case scenario is he destroys the planet because of people not doing as he requested. Best Case is someone defeats him and restores his mind to him. As for drawing us back I doubt it. We… where outclassed by him with ease. I wish I could stand before Vi-Poi and fight him but I cannot. I do not know many who could stand before him and fight.”
Noticing his state she let out a light sigh as she glanced around the bar. Taking note of a couple of booths that seemed to be heavily dust covered yet still usable for makeshift beds. Standing she walked over to them and after searching for a few moments pulled out a rag and began to clean them off with a rather practiced and ease her years of cultured living had ingrained into her. “I do not think you will be going far from here tonight Mr. Jarvis. So at least this will be good for you to sleep on. Have you done a search for anything that we could possibly make up to eat within here? I only ask since that food will help that hangover of yours you are most certainly about to get and maintain most of tomorrow if you do not eat something.”
Her tone was caring and calm. So unlike what he would of heard if he had heard her speaking on the battlefield. It seemed the Kagami had the ability to turn on and turn off her battle instincts much easier than most who wore the saiyan armor that she did. Yet as she spoek about the food she smiled at him and made a gesture toward the booth. It was away from the windows and door by a good margin so she was happily certain it would match his delusional mind into it being a suitable place to relax.

A heavy sigh broke from his lips as he let the bottle roll away. The clinging of glass barely a whisper as it made a light ringing like sound from echoing glass as it rolled across the floor like a few bottles prior. "I suppose yea... I know we are not there. But its hard to forget..." Saying quickly and simply enough. He was too tipsy and of lack luster spirits at the moment to try anything. Or risk getting aggravated by the thoughts in his head. Simply a stoic calm washed over him of the moment that had him centered in his own darkness. Possibly a good thing given several factors about himself.
He'd take the glass and drink it quickly over half straight quickly to his lips and yet seemed not bothered a bit as the strong drink poured down his throat. Drinking it quick so it burned the stomach and not the throat. He'd listen to her words his eyes occasionally glancing over and looking over her from top to bottom for a moment or two. Her armor sooner or later looking familiar saiyan like in style but a custom job. Of course he armor wasn't the only thing his eyes lingered on occasionally. "Gotta die sometime... I guess in my case this will make the second time.. Heh yours too. Cipher and I will be there. I guess we'll just have to wait and see but it might be safer to flee the planet ahead of time. Maybe if I had half a brain I'd have already done that...." Jarvis reached into his pocket the movement causing him to give out another groan before he pulled out a cigar. His sore ribs aching now and again. the cigar quickly taken to his lips as he'd spew out a small line of fire igniting one end then flipping it around and placing the dry end to his lips. The fire ki making a decent lighter for the time. The crimson smoke of the hellish tobacco slowly gathered around but didn't seem thick like normal smoke. An gave off cold chilling sensations when breathed in. He'd offer her one to be polite. Not something he did often but he appreciated at least this time some pleasant company. It wasn't often he was in the presence of beautiful women who were actually mannered like this one. "I see your armor. You must have connections off world I take it... Why stick around? You could get outta here just be gone before the sun rises if you wanted I bet lassy. Or does something keep you tethered to this old little blue planet?" He'd ask curiously either at this point lighting her smoke or putting it away if she refused.
He'd make his way to the makeshift coat holding his ribs only giving a twitch of the eye shortly after his eyes watching her movements as well. To be sure she wasn't up to something. Hiding his pain before plopping down sitting on the bet tilting his head to the side looking up at her carefully for a moment. "I imagine if the cellar still holds intact there are supplies... But why you wish to be kind to me seems a little strange. I don't exactly carry a good reputation! Or are you not scared at all of the big bad blue saiyan?" Truth be told food would be nice and this bed was softer on his rump then that hard floor. Jarvis finished his drink quickly and set the glass down nearby and his cigar in a nearby ashtray. Thankfully the old tavern had a few strewn about. His tail seemed to wrap around her leg at the knee though. As if to say he wanted to know why she was being kind before he'd let her go off to find something to cook. Her manners as well and her way of moving. He could see a servants attitude or perhaps noble behavior. People had tells about their past in their movements if you knew where to look. An he'd been around the block a time or two. His grip would be soft but firm and also a showing his tail was not weak like others of his kind. "You know.... I think if there was no after life. Death wouldn't have been so bad... Hell was a surprise. Never actually though anything happened after the big show ended." Ever watchful for reactions. His black eye lightly in view now but that scoundrels curved grin still present on his face. Even in the worst of times he had that way of looking like he had all the answers. A gamblers grin that always hid what he was really thinking. He may have been a little more distrusting but women had a way of getting him to do what they wanted much more easily.

“I can imagine it is hard to forget. I know my time in the afterlife is going to be hard to forget as well. Even though it sounds like my experience was a lot more pleasant than yours.” She had a suspicion that what she said was true as she had overheard ogre’s talking about how hell while having a few pleasant parts where the ogre’s frequented was not a place to stick around inside of. The rolling glass and resulting clink grabbed her attention but when she realized it was just that Jarvis had rolled a bottle into a smaller pile of them she relaxed. As she would tell him if asked that you could not be too careful even though they where alive. His attempt at a joke made her chuckle as well. It was a light hearted joke in a rather dark place. It was so true that everyones gotta die sometime but in their case it would be the second time they would of died. Though this time Mimikku was planning on making it til the two century mark before looking at the Reaper once more. Listening to him speak about that he planned to go there with someone named Cipher gave a slight pause. Knowing she was not the greatest of fighters as she could easily sense the other man’s strength, but compared to what she had felt coming from Vi-Poi even he was insignificant to the androids strength. This boggled her mind that he would willingly go back into the maw of hell once more to exact some revenge against him. “Well I am not one to make light of situations like this. Just let me tell you that wanting to be there to confront the android once more… I would be nothing more than an impediment to those fighting him for real. Something he could use against them. So I am not going to go there but know that you will have my support from elsewhere.” As he lit his cigar she watched but did not show any outward signs of concern to what he was doing. She would trust him to not set himself nor this place on fire with the cigar he held in his mouth. The smell of the cigar triggered a memory for her of Ruto when he would almost chomp down one of them after a long day of planning and fighting. As the offer was extended she waved her hand. “I can barely tolerate alcohol. Tobacco has never agreed with me so thank you but no thanks.”
Pulling back the hand that she had used to wave at him with she listened to his questions which where based off her armor it seemed. A slight twinge of pride came over her as he recognized her as being from off world. When he spoke about something keeping her tethered to the planet she turned with a rather sad looking smile on her face. “Well I have a daughter who is roaming this planet as we speak. Where she is and what she is doing I do not know. As she was given away at birth to be adopted as I was in no shape to raise her back then. Now that I have returned to the land of the living I am going to try and find her and make up for lost time. Otherwise I have something of a step daughter who I am keeping an eye on or I want to at least. Make sure her family gets off to the right start which it seems to…”
Speaking of the cellar possibly holding supplies Mimikku slapped her forehead. She had overlooked the single most easiest to find location for supplies within most homes. Shaking her head she would listen to him talk about how he was the big bad blue saiyan and it made her chuckle. “It is because I have been around you big bad saiyans since the day I was born. Born into service to the House of Ruto I served from the day I was born til the day he granted me my freedom. Then I became more than just a servant to the master. He and I conceived the afformentioned daughter a few months before his death at the hands of his now deceased brother. To be honest I do miss the simple life that I had back then. It would have been a calming life so much different then the one I have here and now.”
Shrugging her shoulders as she turned to walk to a door that was half off the hinges. Tugging on it she managed to get it to move to see a set of stairs leading down into a basement. Moving down the steps she had to avoid a pair of steps that where weak to the foot step and after passing them she pressed a hand onto them and they broke. Moving farther down she stopped on the cement floor and peered around the darkened room. Taking a few moments before she lifted her hand and burst some ki to illuminate the area. Holding steady she used her own glowing ki to see. With that she found a collection of canned foods. Nothing too extravagant was found but she could see that the cans where preprocessed pastas which thankfully did not seem any worse for wear. As she moved back upstairs she floated up using ki and avoided the steps as she made it back to the first floor. Walking back out toward Jarvis with the pair of cans in hand she spoke up. “Seems that there was not much left down inside of the basement. Could only find these two cans of pasta… Or I hope is at least pasta and not some cat or dog food in a can.”

He'd feel the soreness sitting on that make shift bed. His body felt like each little crack in his ribs and scratch was itchy and hot. The alcohol helped dull the pain but cracked ribs had a way of reminding you they were there. He almost had to chuckle that he'd got himself drunk here and would likely be resting yet again in a place as dingy as this. HE finally had access to barracks or that lookout for a fine rest and he still got to drunk to wobble home. But screw it he wasn't exactly in his best spirits anyway. chuckling a bit that the girl didn't plan to join the fight to come. "Aye I may die for my foolishness again! I guess its just wait and see now isn't it... But at least I have a pretty little lass to keep me company for a bit till then. I imagine the fun will be kicking up soon. The android should make the call any day now... But he'll get his... Mark me words lass he'll get his." As if assuring her Vi-poi would fall. With a conviction in his voice that had the sound of murder in it. Eyes that for just a moment were cold as ice. The cool aqua could look through your soul in feeling as he stared her down. That little slithering grin ever present on his lips. Looking like the charming scoundrel even if the black eye was still present.
However when he though about poking for a kiss encase he may die. Knowing allot of these sweet types ate up that hero play stuff. But just when he felt a bit cheeky his eyes shot a bit wide. Surprised and... unsure how to take what she said. Daughter... one lost and a step daughter of some kind. So she was protecting them... The idea of it gave him a bit of a twist in his stomach unsure rather to feel anger given he had never known any kind of love as a child beyond the kinda you ahd to pay for or people forced upon you. But he'd ask no pity for his past. He chose to run and it was on his head. No one elses he'd long since settled his spirit on those days. Still it got to him a bit. "I guess you have your reasons then to stay back... Earth is better then most planets... But its still hard out there to be a child and alone. Even if she lives a good life sometimes we get caught up wondering about the what might have beens. Toxic thinkin but its what comes to mind." He'd say softly going a bit quite. The 'feelings' had a way of ashing his spirit a bit. He didn't want to feel emotional he wanted to be drunk and let some of the damn sadness drown in a puddle of alcohol.
She was gone rather quickly and after some trouble with the cellar returned with canned food. Ha and worried if it wasn't exactly human food. He imagined through given she was servant at one time around saiyans she'd probably had worse the dog food. I mean some of those types did eat what they killed... even when it was another warrior. He still wondered if they ate other saiyans that were defeated too... Nasty thought. There were reasons why he never went to vegeta after all. He'd look at the cans and smirk a bit reaching out to softly grab her wrist gently enough to not cause alarm trying to get her to sit with him as he would tug lightly suggestively. Enough she could refuse but strong enough as if to ask without asking. "I don't much care for saiyans truth be told... I'm only half of one but I prefer to think of meself as more Brenchian then Saiyan. So lass you plan to swoop off and hopefully find your daughters then be safe and possibly that may include getting away from this planet if we fall. Of course at least I got some nice conversation if I did again. But I imagine a scoundrel is forever a scoundrel but It'd be nice if next time I can get to heaven for at least a half hour before the ogres know I'm dead." He'd say joking now and teasing of death. Giving her more of a soft look but the curved grin ever present. "You know... Back on me planet we have a little tradition when it comes to war." Telling a half truth. The tradition was from a smuggling den but he knew if he said it like this it'd come off more how he liked. "They say when a soldiers goes off before he leaves. He'd try and get a sweet kiss from one of the damsels within the villages or upon ones ship before battle. Sort of like good luck. Do you believe in little traditions and luck... Spirits and tings?" Holding the can in his palm at his side but sitting and looking at her with that cheeky smile. Trying to get her to either kiss him or open up for a kiss. Nothing more then that really just trying to play the joker. If she refused or just laughed at least he'd have some so so decent food in a can to settle his rejected spirit.

“Well I am honored to be keeping you company. Especially if there is the chance that you are about to head off to fight that Vi-Poi once more. I can easily sense that you are stronger than I and Lilith are. I can feel through your voice that you are certain he is going to fall. That is good enough for me. I hope it will be good enough for those lost here in the city though. To know the monster that caused all of the pain is lieing on the ground twitching and struggling to breath as you or someone else walk over and stomp on his head. Should you manage to do this grab some of the cpieces that made him and bring some to me. I would like to exact some revenge upon him…” Looking at him as she watched his eyes narrow and become cold. Her own mimicked the look without trying as she spoke sour and wanting her revenge on Vi-Poi. Clenching her fist as she thought about others that she might have a chance to be close to like friends. Yet Lilith would poke her to make certain that she stayed focused on the situation at hand. Nodding to him as he spoke about her having a good reason to stay back. It was true that she did and yet at times she wished she did not have the responsibility. Turning to look at Jarvis she slowly drew her eyes over his form taking in the saiyan that she could easily see in him. Yet she knew full well that he could not be a full blooded saiyan cause of his hair coloration. Yet she would speak toward him once more as she leaned lightly against the wall next to where he was sitting down. “Yea but my daughter and step daughter are no young children. Both are inside of their mid twenties in age already. My step daughter is married and expecting her first child right now. Where she is on the planet I actually do not know as she has managed to suppress her Golden Ki to a point where I doubt many could find her. As for my daughter I do not know where she is as I said earlier. Sadly I gave her up when she was but a newborn infant. Yet I feel that she is still alive out there.”
After she returned from her basement excursion she felt the hand lightly touch and grasp her wrist. Turning her ruby colored eyes toward him she looked at him directly into his eyes. As he spoke about being a half breed she smiled at him softly as she knew the pain. She had seen so many people to be hurt just because of that simple fact until they either proved themselves or fell aside. So many had fallen aside it was good to see him standing up for himself. Plus him being a half Brenchian she knew that that could not be easy on him as Brenchians are members of the Arcosian Empire’s control. “I fear that if you fail against him that their might not be a planet to return to. I know my one daughter has an escape route with her husband as they both have space pods and coordinates to a planet that her father found that was uninhabited several weeks worth of a trip away from here. As for my flesh and blood daughter I do not know anything about her at all. If I had to guess I would hope that she had some manner of travel off the planet. It would be my only thought for her until I find her and talk with her.”
As she spoke she smiled at Jarvis though she did not pull her arm at all away from him. As he talked about heaven she smiled at him. Knowing just what it took to get there was good living and good intentions. She cleared her throat to try and speak but stopped when he started back up with the tale of receiving kisses from beautiful women before heading off into battle. She smiled at this cause of the first compliment and secondly as she had also heard of this custom on Earth. It was something to encourage the men to return home in one piece to find the one they had shared said kiss with. As she spoke though a slightly more sultry tone would escape her lips and the vocal tone would change. “Well I have heard of the stories as such as the people of Earth have such a custom as well. It was a way of showing that they wished to stay home but needed to go and it showed support for those that stayed behind that they were hoping for their safe return. Would you like for little ol me to give you this ol ritual?”
Smiling as Lilith smiled and set the can of pasta on a nearby table that had not been destroyed by the falling rubble. She leaned in toward Jarvis with a smirk on her face. “Just be careful you do not bite off more than you could chew. As you are drunk Jarvis. One kiss and that is all you get for good luck.”

Jarvis shrugged his shoulders at this mention of family although he did wish the poor girl the best with it. Silently in some fashion wishing her the best on the road to finding them. It was a sobering thought that was lightly painful but relaxing as well to hear. A mother searching and thinking of her young ones. Thats what mothers were supposed to do was it not? Care for their children? Raise them or do whats best for them? She didn't appear the kind to throw a young boy out into the frosted cold of the Glacier belts at least. But he didn't wish to think of that. That was a place that brought him to the drink on these nights when nothing else could stop the darkness that crept into his mind like spiders itching at ones imagination and dreams. "If you find them... I hope they are in good spirits. May they live for a mother that truly cares? Heh! My mother was kinda a bitch ya know... I grew up on Arcose where as you can imagine a tail didn't catch me to many friends!" Implying given the Arcosian tension for as long as most could remember with the Saiyan empire. Jarvis was a bastard and given his blood lines it was likely that neither his saiyan blood nor his brechian shared love for him. "Family is only what you make of it! I've lived this long on my own... I may have joined some of the groups on this planet. But never forget its only yourself that pulls you out of the problems of life and hell. I have heard... in the whispers of hell and from a little majin as well Arcose burns.... And if Arcose burns so does my clan.... Chances are if any of them still lived they are dead now and I am truly alone. Chances are though deals I made will not stop my fighting with Red... But I will have to battle the Saiyans to one day to settle some debts with a friend. I guess that makes sense I've always been the smuggler at times pirate at another.... You think theres ever a actual happy ending for people like me? Or will anyone actually miss me when I fall again...."
His eyes seemed to go cold and he smiled as well but a more dark grin. Not as painted on as his snack charms. But serious as if he was imagining his death to come. Jarvis felt a sorrow within him. An worry about this working with people and becoming close with them. His instincts told him to run and flee this planet but he couldn't do that again. Just run away... He made a deal with zex an Cipher... Had to settle up with Vi-poi. This was how he lived always moving forward with the wind at his back. He'd sank low in his days before but he would always be free and living for the next day that may never come. He was young but the way he carried himself an that little glint in his eye that was seen past the bravado and charm showed a man long since worn down by life. A boy who had known the brutality of the empire as a boy in training to be a officer to a people that hated him. When he broke on his own he was used abused and the lowest of all the outfits he tagged along and joined with. He'd killed his first man when he was in first year alone at thirteen and had been 'taken' of his innocence by a female pirate captain as well in those days. Jarvis had for his whole life known what it was like for people to push you back and try and remind him he was a mix blood of races hated by the galaxy. A man with no home and no family. But the more they pushed the more he pushed back. Its why he always smiled, Drank and made merry so often, Took random lovers to his bed when the time called. No matter would happen this pirate at heart would always 'live' until his last breath. "If only I wasn't so light in the head... I could tell you some stories dove..." He knew not of all her past except she was a servant and what all else she had told him. Some of him did wonder if a servant of saiyans possibly could see the wear on him. The down trodden were Jarvis's only comfort in life. As a boy the whores of one of a little planet a old crew use to frequent use to treat him well. The beggars and thieves as well teaching him early on that the lowest on the totem poll of most people were the ones you could trust. The ones who had nothing often were the ones that offered the most.
He heard her sultry voice and ton and sound change a good deal. Her tone changing as she seemed to know his story and gave a bit more of a interesting answer then he'd expect. Leaning close as his cheeks lit up lightly. The pink tint stuck out well on his pale cheeks and accented with his blue hair. His tail fluttering behind him for a moment even if the rest of him tried to hold a serious expression and pose. "Just one kiss huh... Very well then. I'll take that.... Perhaps I can consider it the goal of if I live I can chase after another one." His eyes looking towards her lips leaning in after she did and just ever so carefully pulling the cigar from his lips and sticking it to the nearest table twisting it on the wood putting it out. Just as his lips touched hers. Closing his eyes as for a simple few seconds he'd kiss her softly. Not lustfully or madly as he was about to rush but sensually and sweetly. Before their lips would finally break and hover a few inches away and he'd let out a soft breath. Opening his eyes again to look into hers as he'd lean back.
"I'm also no fool dove... That change in your voice. Are you holding out a story for me.... A caring mother is truly a rarity and you have secrets about you. Would you tell this ol boy a story of them... If you do... I'll tell you where to find me... If you need aid in the future. Or just some company?" Jarvis sultry as he was could be sweet but his heart was twisted in a way that didn't allow him to know love. Or at least what love really was. There was sex and emotion as well as several other stages of admiration and caring he could feel for people. But he would never hold just one person. All he had before ended up dead or worse. He would only know there were those he wished to live... To see again. He'd try to lean back an lay flat on the bed next to the woman he'd hope would sit at his side for a time. He bit his lip though in the movement. One of his ribs worse then the other. He'd not stopped using that grav chamber often of late to gain power when he could. He felt weak and smaller then'd he'd ever been. He used to be able to stand tall among the pirates of arcose and now after getting involved with bigger affairs was forced to realize just how small he was. Perhaps actually kind words an this woman were just what he needed to calm. He'd settle after some adjustment laying flat for just a moment. Considering eating but for now wanting more conversation.

Hearing him talk about that he hoped that they would be fine brought a smile onto her face once more. Yet hearing about his own mother soured the smile as she listened to him speak of his early life. The overflowing tone of anguish and hatred for what happened in his early years filled her ears. It pained both her and Lilith to hear this. As Lilith knew what a mother should do thanks to all her time with her own celestial mother and Mimikku though never raised by her own mother knew just how demanding a saiyan mother could be as she was raised a lot like Ruto and his own family until she was turned over to be trained as a servant for her eventual master. “What your mother did is not what I mother is to do to a child… They are to nuture and help guide you away from danger not throw you to the wolves as it where. Yet here you are stronger for it.”
The words came from her mouth but Lilith was nodding in agreement within her head. As she then listened to him speak about his home burning to the ground. It brought a pain to her heart to hear this. As someone who had sacrificed themselves to fight against evil in the galaxy to have evil perpetrated in his home of all places. It pained her and made her feel ill to even think about. “There will be people that will miss you. Whether you believe it or not is up to your actions with them Jarvis. Do you go them and act like a friend and help them along. Help people and atone for the past and you never know Jarvis you would wind up in heaven. There you could easily make more friends. But then again I am not one to talk. Living in solitude for two decades to avoid capture and death makes things hard to judge others. As for fighting the saiyans you are not the only one with beef iwith them. I have beef as I was born a slave within their territorial space. My people are under their thumb to be disposed of without second thought. So there are allies for you should you bide your time and look for those suffering beneath the saiyans grasp.”
Speaking softly there was obvious anger in Mimikku’s voice for the first time the entire evening. It seemed that the topic of her peoples imprisonment was something of a touchy subject with her. Within her mind she knew that she had a lot she wanted to settle and she could only imagine Jarvis did as well. Which would be why she left the heavens and why Jarvis had escaped the bowels of hell. “Whenever you feel up to it I will listen to your stories if you listen to mine. Sound like a deal.”
When he finally moved in and placed a kiss upon her lips she smiled and returned the kiss. Though it did not last all that long she smiled at him as he pulled back from her. She was thankful that he removed the cigar and kept it off to the side. Listening to him speak she smiled widely at him. A light shrug on her shoulders as she took a seat in a chair next to him. “Well this is a long and convoluted story. The easiest way I can say it is this. Within my mind I have another woman living within me. For my people we willingly allow a goddess within us to whom we draw power and advice from. She and I are one being our lifeforces are intertwined. So when I died she followed me and stayed with me. My appearance is a combination of how I died while using her strength. Her name is Lilith and well enjoys the more sensual of acts then I do.”
Noticing the wince coming from him and his biting of his lip she smiled at him. Bringing a hand over she placed it lightly against his body. Moving the hand lightly across his chest she spoke back up. “Right now you would not be all that good in a fight. I am feeling your chest and you got several broken ribs. I would say to go to a rejuvenation tank for an evening and you would be right as rain if you know someone with one.”
Lightly smiling at Jarvis she was showing just the demeanor that came naturally to her. Which was to nuture and try to help others. Be it through combat or being a medical aid to those that did fight.

He'd sneer a bit at being sounded stronger for the treatment but chuckling as well when he did looking as if he took it as humorous. The idea there was some good in it... Perhaps. He knew what she meant but he couldn't help but let it twist in his mind. "Oh girly... It wasn't just me clan. The capital of Arcosian Empire had everyone who saw me think of me as such. Treat me like a second class minor even though I had connections to a point. Oddly enough I find myself still worried about them to a point given the war. Crazy isn't it? No matter how awful the past is we still remember home. Not sure how I feel really about it all... I guess I'll know only when the planet falls or I manage to hear if it thrived..." Trying to shake the thought quickly. The idea of home was confusing and toyed with his emotions. Feeling for what relatives may still live but knowing there likely wasn't a soul that would ever welcome him back. He ran away as a child from his duties and did things that were nonredeemable as far as the law went. A criminal in some areas of space there.
He'd raise a brow though looking at her a little more warmly a smile at his lips but only a small grin. A slave she was it seemed. A rough life among the saiyans seemed to be common if you weren't one of them. Anything that wasn't among their race had to either have allot of power to be one equal footing or be knocked to the lowest of the low in their damned caste system. He'd never seen the planet himself but heard plenty of tales and Saiyan mercs often loved to talk of home. but personal experience he had none sadly. "That's the difference between me and them dove. I know how to treat my women..." He'd with a chuckle as the idea of the bad treatment of her. "I've killed my share of slavers. Although Vegeta itself I've never set foot on. That place is a planet I've often seen as better to avoid. So far there hasn't been a job worth the coin to actually set foot there. But if there are more like you there it can't be all bad... If I ended up having to battle there I may have to keep my eyes peeled." He wasn't a fan of slavery. Jarvis kept to himself and understood business but slavers were usually not only bad business but trading people over goods never sat well with him. Perhaps that's why they were one of the few breeds of people he didn't show mercy.
The kiss that followed would leave him with a more warmed feeling as he reclined there after back onto the bed. It was a nice feeling albeit a little more innocent then what he was used too. He'd already simply nodded to her idea of him sharing stories as well in a trade of sorts. He didn't have a grand deal of them that were the ind people wanted to hear but fair trade was fair trade. He found her story interesting but blushed a bit when she placed hands to his chest. Delicate though and careful as they seemed to help her assess his injuries. Jarvis merely rolled his eyes. "I've had worse... Red isn't gonna wait for me to heal so I can't slow down expecting him too... An a goddess inside you? I haven't heard that one before heh... But I find it hard to doubt anything these days. Been allot of crazy things happening. Really widens the mind as to whats all possible and not. I'm afraid though I haven't got any sparkly spirit to give me advice though dove. You see when I was a boy if you want a story... I grew up harshly in the academy of arcosian military youths. The planet not the race... Those arcosians are to stuck up to learn along side us 'lesser' breeds. I didn't have any actual kind words and advice until I met some of the whores of the outer planets! Ex slaves some still slaves.... The first pirates I linked up back in the day. Say what you want about the working girls in the darkest depths of Arcosian space but they have a way of treating you like a person.... I probably wouldn't have lived that first year when I was a lad on me own without a kind hand or two from a few of the ladies. Most of em are gone now though.... People don't live long if you aren't in the empires favor while living in their space...." Sad thought... He remembered a few people so low in life that were probably some of the few he'd remember as kind to him when was was but just a wee blue boy. Not in a dirty way mind you but a motherly way when he was first getting connections an people willing to take a unskilled boy into their crews for added help "When I was thirteen nearing the end of my first year alone just getting a start as a pirate! That was when I got my first good advice! Advice that taught me you only got yourself to take care of yourself. M'captain at one point said you'll learn the strong survive and the weak get used. Gotta learn to take care of yourself. This followed you see by her 'using' me then throwing me off her ship on a planet I had no idea of.... That happens to allow of the younger generation in the smuggling world and among pirates. Some of the more experienced see it as free labor with benefits then you get thrown aside and your pay sorta extra coin in their pockets. IF you live of course." AS dark as it sounded he was oddly enough laughing. A smile on his face that looked sincere. Jarvis had been jaded by the world since he was still in his young minded youth. The boy he was meant to be and the man he was meant to grow into was long since dead and gone. He was as the world molded him but he survived and grew rather then being beaten. He couldn't help but wonder if as a slave. If she could relate to the idea of being 'used'. After all this was possibly if he was a smarter men he'd have realized possibly why he views relations and love as he presently does.
An in that he became the cocky smug scoundrel he was today. Ofcourse he only told her hte light version he had a whole plethora of stories if he wanted to make her cry her stomach churn or get a giggle here and there. "It took me... like eight days to find a settlement on that planet. HA! Never did find that bitch again... That seems to be a pattern with me life. People either vanish or die before I ever get to meet them again or get my revenge. Guess I'm just bad luck! But anyway! Thats my little story... But back to the more interesting bits so I gotta kiss to return to now. But if I do live do I get anything else too?" He'd say following with a chuckle giving her a cheeky grin. He was purely jesting but that was how he played things. Always in a form of a joking playful fool and seizing opportunities when he saw them. But a groan would break his chuckle when one of her hand seem to glide over the most sensitive rib. One of them that had a crack along it that felt like a dagger stirring within him when touched. He'd try to shake off the feeling with another little giggle but a light sweat built on his brow clear that it was a pained feeling.

At the mention of how to treat his women she smiled at him and chuckled lightly. For her there was an exception to the saiyan brutality that she grew accustomed to seeing every night. To her the tender touch and caring heart and mind of Ruto was how she hoped that someday that the saiyans as a race would head toward. Yet she felt in the depths of her stomach that there was little chance of that happening in her or her great grandchildrens lives for that manner. Unless there was a singular figure that could stand upon the shoulders and change all of the Saiyans in a way that kept their past alive and yet progressed them in a different manner. “Vegeta is not that bad of a place to live… But then again I was lucky and the family I was with was very kind and Ruto was a gentle giant of a saiyan when we were alone. He treated me with respect and care and yet when angered he was one of the most fearsome presences I ever saw fight. As for if there are more like me… Well there are a lot of Kagami on Vegeta. There are even more of us on our homeworld. The SSE conquered the planet without any resistence back in the time of my grandparents some three centuries ago. We welcomed them as allies and left in shackles. But we have adapted as much as we could. Someday I want to find a way to allow us to have a peaceful planet to live on and to recollect our knowledge of our people instead of losing it slowly to that of the saiyan.”
“All you saiyans always have had worse. But with you I know you have had worse Jarvis. I saw what happened to you by Vi-Poi. I saw what he did to you just before he finished me off. So the fact your able to feel your chest at all is a good thing. And yea not many of us explore the galaxy at large. I know for a fact there is a maximum of maybe a hundred of us wandering the galaxy as us gaining our freedom from our masters is usually extremely hard. I.. gained mine because Ruto approached me with a different manner of contract for my services. In the form of the ring on my hand.” Smiling as she lifted her hand up showing off the tightly woven golden banded ring with a set of gems upon it. Bringing her hand back down to her side she smiled as Jarvis would finally see the hilt of her blade sticking just at the small of her back carefully hidden away underneath the armor.
“Also I am not just some sparkly spirit ya dunderhead. At one time I lived a normal life as you and Mimikku do right now. Then I was selected to enter into this covenant until someone called upon me for my strength. And so here I am helping out Mimikku and those she wants me to help. Like you.” The voice of Lilith would come from Mimikku was Mimi continued to do small things and not even seem bothered by the goddesses words til the words slipped away. Shaking her head from side to side Jarvis would hear her speak up. “Next time give me some form of warning Lilith. Damn you are still so good at that. Slipping in and taking over control without even a second though is a little scary for my tastes.”
Despite this momentary grumble it seemed that all of her attention switched back to Jarvis as he began to talk about his own past. Listening to his words she would remain quiet as he spoke about all of it. Nodding toward him as he spoke about how it seemed the most downtrodden of people where the best to align yourself with. She had found that as well as during her time without a dime to her name she found that those of the least fortunate on Earth would band together and create a place where all were taken care of. “I.. can sympathize with most of what you went through. As us Kagami do not look as I do. Most of us have stark white hair and blood red eyes. Which makes it very hard for us to escape from custody or from the worst of the abuses. I know of several who did try to escape from being controlled by our neighbors who where exceptionally cruel. Lets just say the woman who tried to escape wished she was dead by the time they finished with her. We had to tend to her and nurse the woman back to health but she was never the same. Though karma has a way of biting those who perpetrate evil like that. My master wound up with the two that had put her in that state a few months later and they did not return from the mission they were on. Ruto said they died heroically and worthy of a saiyan but later on he told me that he had jumped them and killed them for the brutality they showed their servant.”
As her fingers gently moved over the worst rib she sighed as she watched him grin and bear the pain. Knowing how stubborn most men where and especially saiyan men she would not pursue the line of questioning about it in any manner. Pulling her hand away she smiled at him. “Sadly no. I despite wanting to enjoy myself in such a way I do not anymore. Being nearly fifty means you kind of lose that drive. As for your ribs I felt them over. I say a few hours in a tank you would be set. Like two to three hours at most. So that is what I would suggest after you get over your hangover.” Smiling at him as she moved to sit back from him.

Vegeta a nice place to live? He could hardly consider that to be true. Maybe if you knew your way around it or were a accepted race. Or of course had enough power to make the warriors respect you. But all in all he felt it was always special cases for it to ever be a nice place to live. Either for how she found love or how others found power. But Jarvis was a half breed and not only that half blood to a race that was the most loyal to the saiyans most hated enemies. But he could at least smile at the idea at least some had found it not all bad. She was in some ways must have been one of the more fortunate ones. her people enslaved prior to trusting the saiyans... only more reason to be ready to likely be at battle with them then risk trusting them. It only lightly spurred him to consider Zex's offers more closely. "Well shackles never suited me. As I said anytime I ever had a pair on I usually killed who put em there shortly after. I know not all are strong but I always thought I'd rather die trying to escape or kill those above me then actually stay in chains. Also given all the planets I hear both empires clear out on the regular its likely there are plenty of planets out there long forgotten able to hold life just long since abandoned after war. Maybe you'll find a place like that... Never know about tomorrow after all. We are clear symbols of that. Given we ain't exactly kickin in the after life no more." He'd speak quickly that cheerful tone present in his voice once more.
He'd pause for a moment staring at her at the hearing of once again that strange voice... so it wasn't just her 'sultry' voice. There was something truly unique going on here... Or she was just really stuck to the idea of selling her story. But truth be told he saw no value in lying to him at the moment. So he didn't much think she'd be telling false stories. Calming lady like her had the right proper air about her that just kinda won him over. But he always had a problem of trusting women to easily. Well as long as they were sweet. Kind words and a whisper to the ear usually was all it took to get him eating out of someones palm. Flattery... truly the downfall of many warriors. "Quite... So that voice from earlier... You really do have a little spirit in you? Heh!~ I suppose you'll have to forgive me if I was a little... hesitant in my beliefs at first. Don't think I'd much like that... I wouldn't like some spirit worming around in me head or my body. Do you... Do you like feel it? Or how does that work." A little curious leaning up and reaching out touching her arm lightly. Almost curious if she felt any sensation when a spirit did things inside her... The idea was lightly spooky in its own way. Ghost... freaky things. He'd be more hesitant to believe in spirits and the like if he hadn't already seen the after life with his own eyes.
"AH! Sounds like this Ruto would have been a man fun to drink with! Ahaha! Sadly the woman I spoke I never saw again... She is probably still out there doing lord knows what. Tough son of a bitch she was. But grudges only poison ya if ya hold em to long. Maybe what she did really something that toughened me up! HA! Guess we'll never know. That's life as they say." He'd say but had little harshness in his voice when speaking of her even with what he said was done to him. his smile not twitching or fading as if he was talking about what he had for dinner or about some book he'd read. Casually and with little problem in his speech. His jaded mind long since settled these things as just the way of the world.
He'd also laugh at her comments of age. Chuckling out a bit stretching and wriggling from his ribs. "I'm sure you don't give yourself enough credit... But I can take a hint. Well usually... But it is a shame.... An I hate those damn tanks. I was used to long before not having them at my disposal so even with them there now I'd rather heal the old fashion way. Besides the time I'd be in them would be less time to train and become more powerful! Or have a nice little drink! After all I could very well be dead soon! All I have time for now is a little enjoyment of several kinds and training. Maybe I'll get lucky and you an that spirit will see the fight somehow. Maybe she can add a bit of magic to that kiss trick of ours. Give me some luck so I don't and up just another blood puddle again right? Right." Reaching out for a moment even pained as it was too and gripping at one of the few bottles nearby that still had a bit of alcohol in at taking a small swig to wet the throat. Yawning feeling like passing out perhaps soon. He had been exhausted himself of late. The fact he'd been... turned down would also mean sometime before the fight and now he'd likely be making a move on some other young lass who perhaps heard of the heroes of north city. He was not going to risk death again before settling all his needs. This Mimikku though... He could be happy with her as a friend... assuming she'd see him as a friend as well. Something about a woman like her who'd been through so much. She was the only kind of person that could understand a person like him. Those who lived happier lives never could.

“Shackles suit no one very well Jarvis. Shackles are just means to hold one down so that they do not have to worry about someone rising up against them. It is what a lot of people will do to others. I mean shackle a saiyan and then you will have but a pointed stick that will resent you and will do nothing but resist you. So honestly your mentality does fit your duplicitous heritage.” Mimikku spoke with a rather manner of fact tone to her voice. It was as if she did not care what people thought. It might of stung at Jarvis but for her it just happened to be one of the side effects of the new melding with Lilith was that she was much more blunt toward people.
“You know that finding an empty planet capable of sustaining life that was long forgotten and making a home there for myself and for any other Kagami that have earned their freedom sounds like a great idea. The issue with it would be what will happen when the Super Saiyans, Super Androids or some dictator from any of a million of planets appear to fight and conquer us. As a planet of Kagami we would be all of just wanting peace and to be diplomatic with people but sadly that does not seem to work anymore…” Speaking softly as the prospect of possibly finding a new planet for the Kagami sounded much better then trying to liberate their homeworld. As with the news of Super Saiyans appearing meant to her that the Saiyan Empire will soon become a rather large menace across the universe. That menace will eventually come to try and obliterate Earth as it seemed that this planet had a habit of creating strong competitors who would stand out against them. Cause she knew that despite the insanity within the android that had killed her that he would stand in front of the saiyans and slaughter all of them wholesale.
As Jarvis poked her on the arm the fact that Lilith was partially in control of her body she let out a yelp in her own voice. Turning her head a slightly playful quirk in her eyes as she smirked at him. “Yes I do feel that. In fact I feel every sensation that Mimikku does unless she blocks me using her mind or I block her senses. When… we died we both felt the death course through us and extinguish our life. Shocked me something fierce if you must know. It was so much worse than anything my sister and mother had told me it felt like.” Smirking Lilith enjoyed the company of the half breed as he was another lost soul as it where. One that could use a home someday just like she would.
Without much effort Mimikku would slip back in control as he complimented Ruto. Waving her hand she let out a loud chuckle as she knew that his words where true. Ruto had been a great companion to drink with as despite how much he would drink he never allowed himself to get drunk. “Well maybe you will draw her attention to come to Earth. I mean look at what we accomplished with only a single battle. Though we did not win we both have a greater appreciation for life and all that entails. Be it the taste of alcohol, a good meal, or even the simplest most base things we feel. So maybe you will someday see her again. As for enjoying a drink with Ruto. I have a feeling he would of enjoyed having a drink with you. As his brigade was one of the few that had a lot of half breeds within it. He recognized how important they where to Vegeta’s future and how their differences would only make the saiyans stronger in the long run. So I think he is here in spirit and enjoying a drink with the both of us right now.”
Smiling as she lifted her glass and took another drink from it finishing off her second glass. As he spoke about Mimikku not giving herself enough credit she shrugged to him. IT was true that she did not give herself any sort of credit no matter what was going on. For her it was always what could she do to assist others. She smiled softly at him as he asked if there was anything that she could do to give him some luck before the battle. The smile turned ever so slightly as she brought the bottle around once more filling her glass. This time however she placed her finger within it. Closing her eyes she brought her hand down and began to slowly trace a circle around his heart while speaking in a language that he would not be able to decipher. The tone was that of a perfect mixture of hers and Lilith’s voices as she did this for about thirsty seconds. “Well I know it is sadly nothing tangible but consider that a blessing from the goddess. A type of protection upon yourself. Also I noticed that yawn. I can tell you are getting tired. As am I. So how about we enjoy these wonderful cans of pasta then call it an evening?”
Smiling at him as she made her blade visible for the very first time and brought it down with a obviously master stroke to the top of the metal can taking the top of it off in a clean stroke. “Want me to open yours as well?” She smiled at him as she held the small wakizashi styled blade in her left hand.

He'd clear his throat a bit at first. Staying on his back for a few more moments drawing in deep breaths letting a little humph to her words. Maybe he was like his people and the brenchians in another. He still didn't wish to be seen directly as a saiyan. The only really god send use his blue hair and fur color was that it made it clear he was in fact not a pure blood at least. Shrugging his shoulders a bit though. His body was too relaxed and resistant at the moment to getting to worked up towards anger at least. The Alcohol relaxed him and the pain encouraged him to keep from moving too rapidly. "Well that was kinda the point. As I said any slaver that had me as a 'slave' met sad ends shortly after. You can't keep a fighter down for long. Set a few free to each of those times too what few times it happened. That's a story for another time though... Picked up some interesting tricks one of those times as well when I left a ship of slaves stranded in deep space." He imagined any of those that survived were likely still carrying some resentment for him for that little endeavor. But for the most time he seemed to shrug off any insult for that as well. Still grinning as sneakily as ever.
He'd sigh and seem to shrug again at the idea of the dangers of finding a new planet for her people. It was true Saiyans might just conquer her again and her people. Or more crazy android and if the whispers of Arcose were true that army would need more planets again soon too if it was going as bad as he heard given the rumors of the empress. Pompous lizards... He felt perhaps some form of understanding but still it was a typical situation no one was safe from. "Well dove m'thinks that there will always be some big bad thread looming in the galaxy somewhere or another. Trust me I worked the dark corners of the empire long enough to tell you there's no such thing as a safe place in the galaxy without some form of danger looming. All you can do is try for what you want bite down and fight to keep it. Your people 'if' they get some new planet out there could always teach em to fight and just make the saiyans understand with their own damn language. Sure is it brutish? Yea. But it works. No one is gonna give ya any breaks out there. But plenty of races still live happily here and there. There will always be risks but without taking them how can you gain anything?" He'd speak somber in tone and expression looking up to the ceiling for a moment his eyes looking over the dull and lightly musty wood work of the ceiling above. Jarvis had lived like that anyway going from one opportunity to another ever since he;d finally got a handle on how to handle life on the wrong side of empire law. Ya had to risk the bad to get any of the good in life. Otherwise you would just be left with allot of what ifs and hardly any rewards for the pains along the way. An he was a man who truly enjoyed his rewards he found himself most deserving of.
He laughed out a bit sitting up a bit more after he heard the spirit speak again. She had a tone he rather liked and confirmed his questions and speculation. It must have been strange two entities in one body but still he had to respect anyone spirit or the like that was upfront with you. Honestly and right out dealing was something you didn't find often in universe among the strange and the unknown anymore. "Roight... I still don't think I'd like to have a spirit 'inside' me. But you two seem to he havin off quite well. Shame about the death thing doves. Its all a little hazy for me the droid kinda vaporized me I think. Just allot of bright light then black... Then that damn line. I'll never get used to the idea of being a goddamn puffball though I can tell ya that. Back to that though... I can imagine it has its quirks. Heh... I've been in some LOCKED up places before. The company I believe is likely a blessing at many times for you both? Even if the whole... blocking each other likely sounds rather annoying." That being the biggest problem he heard. He didn't like being restricted by outside forces and laws let alone if he had to imagine having someone looking out for him inside... forcing his hand to stop many times over. Sure he'd likely live a safer life if that were the case but it wouldn't feel... free to him. But he'd not bring that up. Didn't desire to push his thoughts on her too far.
So this mate of hers from the past was a good drinker and didn't have that arse view of half breeds it seemed. He did hate the strange hatred many of his race's blood on that half seemed to despise it. He could at this point count the insults and how unoriginal most of them were after the countless areas of space and planets he'd been to in his ventures. It was rare when he found those folks who actually were fine companions to spend the day with and share a drink and merry making. "Even if she did I doubt I'd seek any revenge... that was a long time ago. As they say some dogs are best left sleeping. To be left to lay and nothing but trouble comes from kicking a sleeping dog. I can get behind a good drinking mate that knows how to show respect. You don't find people who can look you in the eye anymore and share a moment like that in this galaxy." The idea of good meals drink and other good things Jarvis already knew full well of. The idea to enjoy what ya had when ya had it. He laughed earnestly at that. "Now that is something you don't have to tell me! I have tasted alcohol from dozens of various planets and food of the rarest like. Lovers of many races and all the little things as well along the way! Bahahaha! Trust me I know how to ensure I enjoy each day given its easy to see how easy life can end in some life styles like that." He'd say with cheer in his voice. Even before his death he always enjoyed these things often and whenever he could. Trying not to think too far ahead besides minor planning. It was best to just continue forward on his own will and power. If he was gonna die one day he was gonna die. That was just a fact given all died in the end. So he'd just fight and enjoy it all until that day came... again. He'd fought of death once so who knew maybe he'd do it again one day.
He froze up a bit though when she moved her hand as she begin to trace a circle around his heart. He seemed to clam up silent for a moment looking off to the side a little crimson on his cheek as he listened to her words. He didn't recognize it... He'd heard a few languages in his days but this one escaped him. It didn't match up in dialogue either with anything he'd heard thinking it must have been her own races or something special to them at least. Prayer perhaps he'd guess before her explanation. Prayers while he was in some ways joyful of this for the caring moment Jarvis was... in terms of actually kindness like this unsure how to take it. He was used to always the idea when people did something for you they often wanted something in return. Actually caring emotions and such kindness at times set him lightly uneasy. He was so used to expecting the rough reactions it was the kind people that could wound him the deepest. Sometimes it was a caring touch or the sweetest words that made one realize how deep old scars went. "Ahem.. That is... I... Er... Thanks. I appreciate that. Yea..." Talking like some lost for words pup now. Grumbling a bit under his breath as if embarrassed. She was motherly an caring individual he could start to see that. Good to the world and people even with what she'd been through. It was more then a little unsettling given Jarvis could quickly see after assessment she didn't have nearly as much scorn for the world as he did... Even with all she'd been through as well. Though he would never admit it since he had pride of his own. He was jealous in some form wishing he could keep a genuine cheer and kindness like that. But his spirit had long since been too scorned and scarred for the likes of that. It made him... desire even more so to defeat this red. Ensure people like this were safe for that much longer.
"Yes... The night and aches will take me soon. A nice little meal will end this just nicely I think. If you would be so kind as well?" Accepting her offer and a little impressed at the way she handled a blade... Heh so she wasn't just a pretty face and a delicate dove after all. Of course not that he thought she couldn't handle herself. He was calmed now and could feel the weight on his eye lids and his body from resting and being calmed with story and conversation. It was nice to for the firs time in a long time actually have been able to let it drift away for a time. relax long enough to actually slip into such a state. It was very nice the stoic calm that came from it. He likely knew after they would enjoy this and she sliced the can of his as well. He'd be slipping out of his waking state shortly after. Even if it was more in a sweet way in some way in his mind and spirit. He rather enjoyed the idea of sleeping with such a caring motherly type nearby. Maybe that was what it was like to actually have someone who cared about? But who was he to actually know anything about that.
