PL for me. x50 gravity!
– Yes!... Yes!... I already said yes, dammit! I have the Zeni, I have a place to install it, and I’m the commander!!! Why you people have so much trouble believing that?! What?! Because I look like a buffon speaking?! How dare you speak to me like that! I’m your customer, you asshole! No! Don’t hang up! Dammit! Yes! I want to buy the damn chamber! No… Not 50G… I said it loud and clear twelve times already! I want a damn 150G gravity chamber, to be installed inside my royal spaceship, the Star Javelin, located at the imperial palace hangar! – Natto was walking from one side to the other, feeling really annoyed. His hand was touching the button on his scouter, as he used the shop channel to try and finish his purchase. – Yes, I know the price! And yes, I want it to be installed today! What?! That’s absurd! You are charging me one thousand zenis to install it?! That’s robbery! What?! Did you just call me a broke jerk?! No way a broke crap can be the commander? Well, fuck you! I don’t need your help! Good luck to me then?! Screw you! I will install the damn thing on my own, just deliver it already! – and snorting, Natto turn off the shop channel, with a vein popping on his left temple, as he got really pissed off with the guy on the other side of the channel. Luckily, they were the only ones selling gravity chambers at the moment, and Natto had no other option than to deal with them, but, damn! He was pissed.
The young saiyan commander walked quickly across the streets of Vegeta, leaving cracks on the ground as he strongly stepped on it, feeling too pissed about the call. ”Why don’t we have a customer’s support service on this damn planet?! Damn saiyans and their attitude!” he couldn’t help but to complain about his fellow kinsman, since they could be real pricks sometimes. ”And damn… I do hope they have an instruction manual, otherwise I’m pretty much screwed…” he sighed and, after walking a little more he suddenly stopped, with a puzzled expression. ”Why the heck am I walking?! The palace is really far away! Damn… I’m spending too much time with people who can’t fly! Who would’ve thought we still had those here? Go figure…” he shrugged, flaring his ghostly-white ki aura around his body, and launching himself into the skies of Vegeta, leaving the trail of white energy behind him.
In no time Natto arrived at the palace. He flew straight to the hangar area and got inside of it through one of its windows, heading straight towards the marvelous Star Javelin, the huge white-colored Royal Spaceship he bought for his own personal use, and for the members of his newly formed squad. With the new acquisition, they could really improve at a much faster pace. ”I’m so excited! It has been almost two months since the last time I had the opportunity to use one! Ever since the Imperator left the planet!” his excitement took the place of his previous anger as he landed right in front of the ship. He didn’t wait! Natto rushed towards the ship, quickly opening the door and, as he stepped into the training hub, where he indicated that they should leave the thing, he felt a huge pressure that made him stumble, and almost fall to the ground. – WOW! – he startled.
That feeling was familiar, but rather odd. He felt his body much heavier than before, almost like he was onto some sort of higher gravity or so. Natto looked around the area. ”It doesn’t make any sense…” he thought, as he didn’t see the gravity chamber installed, but only plenty of metal boxes all over the place. They had delivered it, indeed, but they didn’t install it. So why did he feel the gravity pressure. And it was higher than the last time he used it. Well… At least, since his power level had skyrocketed ever since, he didn’t feel overwhelmed, but it still had caught him off guard. ”Well… I have to find out what’s going on, and those boxes will definitely hold the answer!” he nodded to himself, approaching them.
As he started opening the boxes, he saw plenty of equipment, and a particular one, a large square box with something like a red circle inside of it, spinning like crazy and emitting some sort of energy was on, making him chuckle. – What a bunch of bastards! They somehow left the gravity on, and I have no means to turn it off until I can install the whole thing! And they didn’t leave a manual! – their strategy was made clear: they wanted the seemingly weak buyer of the chamber to get overwhelmed and frustrated due to the gravity and lack of manual, and surrender to their abusive demand of one thousand zenis, in order for having them install it on the ship. But Natto wasn’t going to surrender.
– Unfortunetely for you, assholes, I have some skill with mechanic! I was the Mechanic-in-Chief of the saiyans on both Felucia and Argavat! As well as the only saiyan there… But that’s above the point! – he laughed with his own words, as he was now in a rather good mood with the challenge. – I will not be defeated by a machine! I will install it myself! And you can go fuck yourselves with your money! – he said, before proceeding to open and unpackaged all the boxes out there. Natto was really organized, as he put all the pieces on the floor, dividing them into categories determined by size and shape, so that he could have a nice and large view of them all. After he did that, he took a few back steps and touched his chin, thinking things through. ”Okay Natto… Remember how the gravity chamber on the Imperator looked like… Well… It was a pretty much round central hub, with a control panel, a screen, and it had a larger base fixed to the floor, and this tube going all the way to the top, that I can only think it’s to determine the radius of gravity with precision… Well… I can see most of the pieces I can remember and all… So, let’s get to work!” the young saiyan commander and now mechanic cracked his fists and neck, and walked towards the objects. The installment would begin!
First of all he needed to put the large tube like structure at the ceiling of the ship. Natto caught the tools: a hammer, screws, screwdriver, nails, and the round black circle pieces that composed the main structure of it. ”Okay… This seems to be the basic structure… And that gravity square will be inside of it, at the base of the whole gravity machine. Hahaha! That’s fun!” he thought, as he started hammering and screwing pieces together, remembering about the times he had to repair his spaceship while he was on Argavat. Piece by piece he assembled it together, until he managed to build the whole black structure. He was careful enough to put the wires through it, so that it could be connected to the control panel on the main area.
It was a tough job, and Natto had never dealt with something so complex and hard, so the whole thing took him way more than an hour, almost two, truth be told, in between disassembling and reassembling things until they felt right and looked like the tube on Zucceta’s royal spaceship. The gravity was making things harder due to the time Natto was exposed and, even though he was much more powerful than he was when he conquered the gravity 40 times enhanced, it had been a while, and this one was even higher than that.
As he landed again, he wiped the sweat of his forehead with the back of his white gloves, staring back at the rest of the materials. There was plenty of pieces on the roof, around the hub, almost on the ceiling, that were responsible for the holograms and the hard light, and luckily this gravity chamber also came with them. Somehow they seemed to be connected to the main machine by wireless connection, what was quite handy, making him smile from corner to corner, since he would only have to install it on the higher areas.
The first one was rather tricky to get it right, since it had many small pieces and chips that were responsible for the wireless connection, but after the first one was all set and done, the rest were piece of cake. When he finished, he was quite proud of himself, and he laughed a bit, feeling like a top tier mechanic. - See?! Who needed those assholes to install it?! I’m doing great! But I can’t help but to wonder if they did activate the gravity control on purpose… Well! At least they are helping me train while I do this job! It’s a win win! Hahaha! – his mood was quite great now, as he was having a lot of fun. – Now I have to put the pieces on what’s going to be the main control panel… And then I’ll put the steel pieces to cover it, and set up the panel itself. – he checked the to-do list with himself, before starting over the installing.
This was the trickiest part. First of all he had to take the square thing that was generating the gravity without much control, and put it inside of the thing, connecting it to wires and installing a few chips on it, to make it connect and interact with the rest of the structures. There was also a something similar to a very sophisticated hard-drive that had to be connected pretty close to the gravity generator, as Natto was mentally calling the thing now, and it was very difficult to understand how it would be attached to it, and he had to think things through for quite a while. Now, even with the air conditioner of the spaceship, he was sweating a lot and starting to feel a little tired due to the long hours that passed. ”Maybe I should’ve asked for help… But for a thousand zeni?! No way! Maybe Aspa could’ve helped, or Tomo’s mother! She is pretty good with this sort of things anyway… But… Well… Too late to ask for it now.” he shrugged, as he tried to keep up his motivation.
”Either way, I have to finish this thing today… Tomoroko won’t be able to get near the ship like this. And I dunno how much pressure Aspa’s new leg can take before breaking… I’m not even going to speak about Habana! I don’t think she can handle much gravity…” and, with that in mind, he got back to the pieces. It was about time to install a large oval area, that was responsible for generating the energy necessary to keep things working correctly, and it had tons of wires inside of it, and had to be carefully installed.
– Would it kill them to put different wires in colors?! I have to be reaaaal careful not to mess things up! – he complained, as he took extra care with the connection of the wires. There were tons of them and he was starting to think that repairing his attack ball as a walk in the park. If there wasn’t an enhanced gravity, things would be much easier, and he couldn’t be happy for the training now, as he was getting really stressed with this part of the building of his gravity chamber. ”Damn things! Why the fuck won’t they connect!!!” he almost punched the damn thing, but that would be absurdly foolish, as it would only make him waste tons of money and lose the gravity chamber he had just acquired.
After HOURS crashing his hard against the floor in order to be able to install the oval upper part of the gravity machine, that was white in color, contrasting with the black tube thing. – Finally! Damn thing! Now… I think I only have to assemble the control panel area, since it’s all connected… And, when I install the screen, I’ll be able to see what level of gravity is this! – he grimaced for a while, before smiling again, as he was feeling rather excited to finish the job.
The final part was the easiest, since everything was already connected and done. Just a few more plugs, a few more hammerings and a few more screwings and it was done! The gravity machine had been installed. As soon as he got back up, he stared at the screen indicating the gravity, and there was the indication of 50G. ”Well… That makes sense… That’s why I was feeling that this gravity was way over the one I was used to, but not so overwhelming…” he thought to himself, feeling rather proud of him. The gravity wasn’t affecting nearly as much as it did when he conquered the other gravity levels, and that was a direct result of his growth.
Looking around at the area, he saw a few other pieces that could be assembled, and that made him arch one of his eyebrows. – And what about those? – he wondered, as he approached it. They looked like small machines that weren’t directly connected to the main gravity machine. The funny thing is that they had some sort of a really small piece, that looked like a gravity control of its own. ”What are these little guys? I’ve got to find out!” he chuckled quite excited. The young saiyan started building the little things and soon they started taking form of little sphere machines. When Natto finished building them, he had at his feet about ten sphere-like machines, and they started flashing with a red light, that resonated with the central panel. ”Maybe that’s how we start it…” he thought, as he approached the controls.
By pressing a button, the spheres started floating, and the screen on the panel announced that the “Attack Spheres were ready”, and asked him to choose how they would function. He had a couple options: firing lasers, or deflecting ki blasts by spinning, and that was pretty interesting. He pressed the button, choosing the attack mode and, immediately, the spheres started floating on the air, due to their own gravity control core and quickly surrounded Natto. The young saiyan assumed his battle stance, with his left foot to the front, knees slightly bent, his left hand slightly opened, in front of his face, and his right arm by the side of his body, elbow bent and fist clenched. After a little while, one of the spheres fired a red laser, that was so quick, that he almost couldn’t dodge it due to the surprise. – WOW! That’s fast! – he exclaimed. But, to his surprise, before the laser hit the ground, another sphere headed swiftly towads its direction and reflected it back towards Natto, hitting him straight on his back. – ARGH!!! – it didn’t hurt all that much, but it stung like hell, and he was caught completely off-guard, since he believed that his dodge was final.
The spheres started firing again, but he was too tired to train for now, due to his intense exposure to gravity for the last seven hours, while building the gravity chamber inside his spaceship. He was done for today, and had to rest, but first he needed to avoid this volley of shots. Natto turned his body to the side, dodging the first two lasers, and, as he now knew about the reflexive ability of the spheres, he quickly somersaulted towards the control panel, hitting the button to turn them off. The spheres slowly hovered back to the ground as they turned off, but the reflected lasers were still coming his way. He couldn’t dodge now, since it would make them hit the control panel. ”I have to block!” and with a quick movement, he crossed his arms in front of his body, receiving the two lasers, that scorched a little bit of his arms, making him grimace with the damage he suffered. It wasn’t serious, but no one likes to get hurt for free.
Natto sighed and then turned around, back to the control panel and, with another click he turned off the artificial gravity, feeling the pressure going away, which made him take a deep breath, relieved. He was beat, and the only thing he wanted to do now was to rest for a long time. ”It was tough, but really fun… And now I don’t have to depend on the queen… Now I can train with gravity whenever I want, and the other saiyans will be able to make use of it too… I will just have to think about some rules about using it, and supervise their trainings, in order to assure that they don’t over train and injure themselves seriously, and that they don’t break the chamber… But I can think about such details tomorrow! Yeah… Tomorrow is good enough.” he decided, nodding to himself, as he walked towards the bathroom. He was stinking to the point of it bothering him.
One thing was certain, he definitely wanted Tomoroko to experience the Gravity Chamber. Well… She was still using the heavy weights, and that could make it rather tough on her, but she could probably deal with the lower gravity levels. ”If I’m not mistaken, I faced a gravity thirty times greater with the weights… Or was it forty times? Well… Doesn’t matter! I’ll make sure she starts with the gravity of ten times the regular mark.” he thought as he approached the shower, taking of his battle suit, gloves, boots and jumpsuit, unwrapping his tail in the process. ”I should also invite that guy Riku… Maybe even Habana… Yeah… We can definitely use stronger warriors, and this is the perfect tool!” he nodded to himself, before getting inside the shower. Natto would shower, eat and sleep. He was done for the day.
Another step was taken towards reaching the ability to withstand the maximum artificial gravity possible: the 150G! And he was determined to conquer that soon.
