So as all of you are aware, we have leader positions such as Ruler of Vegeta, Guru, Ruler of Arcose, and other things. Although certain leaders are rather inactive, and these leader positions actually inspire RP, so I propose a 3 week rule. If a leader can't make a simple training post or a post in a thread once every 3 weeks, he or she should lose his leader position. Opinions?

If people don't feel that other rulers are doing well enough, they're more then able to challenge for the throne or whatever; if it makes sense.

I'm not against this in principle, but I'm confused about who you mean in practice; all those examples are very active. What are you aiming for here, Komoto?

Well really our only inactive leader is Scargot, but I didn't wanna say just him and sound like a butthole.

I believe that Scargot has legitimate reasons as to why he is inactive but I could be wrong.

He does have a legitimate reason. He apologizes profusely when he's online, sadly. The guy feels bad, and understand if we'd replace him.
I think he's liked enough that no one really wants to replace him. The good thing, though, is he already made the dragon balls ICly. So we don't *need* a guardian for them.

Hello guys and gals,
If someone else wishes to take the role of a less active leader they certainly can elect to do so, after all the roles are meant to provide RP opportunities for others, so liked or not if you're not around to do this then it's fair enough to be replaced by someone who is*. (justifying it IC however you want I guess)
For example, if someone wanted to officially take Bao's president role they could, I believe Vi didn't do so simply because he doesn't feel the need to own the title and is happy to play it as Bao being a kind of puppet figure to keep the populous more compliant (thinking they have a democracy when really it's been robbed from them).
* Although by the same token support characters are a little different to other characters, when you're playing a support character you are basically an NPC - when people come to you you RP with them, but otherwise it's fine for you to sit idle inbetween, your goal isn't to gain pl like the 'heroes/villians' but rather to support others and create a more vibrant 'world' for people to explore and interact with.
Leaders have the potential to be played as either option (growing strong and driving plot themselves, or playing support to others who drive plot), though the saiyan and arcosian thrones are better suited to saga characters IMO.
It could be useful to perhaps have a note next to inactive leaders/masters indicating 'technically still this person but the position is open should someone else want to take it').

I think that putting inactive positions up for replacement is justified, and I like Bao's suggestion about writing indications next to each role w/ a more inactive player.
