[Thread PL: 2,010] Cabitz walked through the desert slowly. He had never been so bored before. Nothing big had ever happened since he arrived on Earth and he hadn't had a good fight in quite a while. He didn't even feel like he was growing stronger but instead...weaker. Perhaps it was because he hadn't trained enough but honestly, punching the air isn't as much of an exercise as you'd think. No, no, that was quite boring too. He needed to punch some face! And a good reason for doing so would probably make the Situation better. Yes he could see it now. Battling evil Saiyans, thwarting the plans of an Arcosian, crossing paths with a Robot. Maybe even fight some ultra powerful magic creature. But there was no way he could do that on his own. He probably needed a team. A team of strong Good Guys. Yeah that would be AWESOME. But where could he find a team like that? Well hopefully it would appear soon. The Saiyan's Patience was wearing thin.Toma

[Thread PL: 30,702. Heavy Weights on. PL suppressed to 1000.]
A whole day. A whole day, the young Saiyan had been here, in Diablo Desert. He had been out here training. Training for what, you might ask? Why training his tail, of course! He had heard from a few other Saiyan Warriors he’d met, who hadn’t wanted to fight him, that he needed to train the weakness out of his tail. They had shown him how to do it, too. They were a bit friendlier than most saiyans, mostly because he was stronger than they were, and they respected his drive to be the best. So they had decided to help him become a “true Saiyan” by giving him the advice he needed.
And so there Toma was. Hanging upside down from one of the large pillars of rocks that had fored in the Diablo Desert. He had come out here hoping nobody would decide to interupt his training session when he was at his weakness. It had always been a problem of his, this pesky tail. Whenever somebody had grabbed it, he always found that it had made him immensly weaker. So weak, in fact, that he could hardly stand, let alone fight!
But how was he hanging upside down? Well, the plan was simple. Hang upside down with a rope tied to his tail until the pain went away. After that, all he needed to do was excersize his tail. Do “tail-ups” if you will, by pulling his whole body up with his tail. It was impossible to describe in mere words the pain Toma had felt when he first let himself into the hanging position with the rope. He had used his powers of flight to turn upside down and descend, but once his tail had been tugged tight, he had been unable to correct himself! He had screamed in pain for what seemed like an eternity, but now the pain had faded. That was twelve hours ago.
So now, Toma hung upside down. But now, he was hanging almost as if he were sitting in a chair. His legs were crossed, his arms were crossed, and his eyes were shut. He looked nearly to be in a trance like state. Though, he was moving up and down slightly, his tail tugging him towards the edge of the rock, moving the rest of his body.
He had done it. His tail weakness, it had been removed. No longer would grabbing his tail make him weak! No longer would he fall to pieces when someone thought they were being smart by exploiting his supposed weakness. No, now he had the advantage when someone were to try to grab his tail.
Though, meanwhile, another person was in the desert. A boy, from the looks of it, wandering the super heated area. Why he was here, nobody could guess. But Toma didn’t care. He simply kept pulling himself up with his tail to strengthen it even further, keeping his eyes closed, and his breathing as steady as he could. He was sweating, a sign that he had been at this for quite a while.

Cabitz looked at the other Warrior strangely and then looked back at his own tail. What was he doing with his tail? Never before had he seen something like that. Honestly it didn't make much sense to him. But then it clicked. He must have been working to get rid of the one and only TRUE weakness of a Saiyan: Their tail. It must be through training that now whoever grabs this warrior's tail will be in for a big surprise because he won't be affected. This also meant something else: He was most likely a fighter. And a fighter means...action!! Yes!! He found it! Something exciting! However he wasn't going to randomly attack him. Of course he would ask first. "Hello Sir! Would you like to fight me!? I'd really appreciate it!" He then waited for the older male's answer.

Toma let out a sigh while he hung from his tail. There really wasn’t much else to do. He was about ready to stop, when he heard a voice. A young man had challenged the Saiyan to a fight. Toma opened his eyes and looked at the male. A young man, who couldn’t have been any older than fifteen at the most had been standing on the desert stands, waiting for a fight. Toma smirked a bit, chuckling when he saw the boys tail. “Sure, why not? I’ve been needing to test out my tail anyways.” Toma spoke, as he leaned up, ripping the rope off his tail, freeing it as he fell to the gound now.
Flipping swiftly over himself, Toma landed on the ground expertly on both feet. He then turned to look back at the young man who had presented himself before him. The man wanted a fight, did he? Well he was a Saiyan by the looks of it, so that was only natural. Though he didn’t really seem to be all that much of a threat. The young boy was strong for human standards, but he had a long way to go if he really wanted to challenge Toma. Though, Toma knew what that was like. Compared to many of the stronger people he’d met, Toma was still nothing. Even he had people he wanted to catch up to. So, perhaps, he could help this boy reach his goal of becoming stronger.
Toma thought back, to when he was this boys age. He had to admit, the boy was stronger than Toma was when Toma was fifteen. Toma had only had a power level of about fifteen hundred when he was fifteen. He found it funny, really. That he was so much further ahead of the boy but at the same time, the boy was progressing better than Toma was. If this pattern kept up, there really was no way to tell how strong the boy, or Toma, could become.
It was at this point, that Toma had decided to get into his fighting stance. He bent his knees, bringing his arms out in front of him in a semi-defensive, flawless form. He was ready for anything this boy could throw at him, but he wanted to see just how strong this boy was. So, perhaps, he wouldn’t remove his weights. He didn’t really need to remove them for anything, truth be told. The strength he gained from putting his body through the stress of these weights was fantastic, though Toma could feel that it was getting a tad easier to use them. Soon enough, they’d be useless, but Toma still had a gravity chamber he could use to help with that issue.
“Come on, then!” Toma shouted as he waited for Cabitz’s first move. He decided that since Cabitz was the challenger, it was only right if he got the first move. “The first move is yours, young Saiyan! Come now, show me how strong you are!” Toma demanded, as he braced himself for Cabitz’s attack.

Cabitz smiled widely. "Sweet! Alright here I come!" Hopping into Fighting Position, Cabitz' body seemingly flickered as he rushed at his newly found opponent. This was a chance to try out his new move he had developed during a previous incident with an Arcosian. So, right off the bat, both his hands flashed and then ignited with Lightning making a booming sound in the meantime. "Alright, here comes Thunder Destroyer!!" If he moved fast enough he would probably be able to touch Toma in which he would then exchange 33% of his PL for Volts. Volts that would shock Toma. But in Cabitz there was a little doubt but hey you never know until you try!

Toma narrowed his eyes as the young Saiyan charged towards him. There really wasn’t much to the Saiyan, in terms of speed. But he could sense something. The man was using an energy attack of some sort? It didn’t matter. In a swift motion, Toma bent his legs, before his right leg pushed off the ground, sending him flying to the left in a swift motion in order to put distance between himself and Cabitz.
The Saiyan was using a basic tactic of charge and prey. That was a good strategy for some moves, but Toma liked to take a more tactical approach to things. He decided that it’d be best to test something. Something that would be very necessary if he were to try train this boy in the future, assuming this boy was as good as his Ki lead Toma to believe. “Too slow!” Toma shouted, before a blue Ki orb appeared in Toma’s hand. He then fired the Ki orb downwards some, kicking up a huge cloud of sand and dust that would blanket the battlefield that the two Saiyans were in.
“What now, boy? Can you find me in here?” Toma shouted, smirking to himself some. He wanted to make sure that this Saiyan could hold his own in a fight. If he couldn’t overcome a simple smokescreen, then there was less hope for the boy than Toma would have hoped. “Don’t let your guard down! Stay alert!” Toma would shout, before firing another Ki blast into the smokescreen. While he couldn’t see Cabitz, he had a very good idea as to where Cabitz was due to the ability to sense Ki that he had.
Of course, the Ki orb itself was a bit of a pulled punch. Toma hadn’t decided to unleash his full power, he didn’t want to kill the boy, so he held his punches back. Of course the blast would still hurt a lot if it connected, but it wouldn’t kill or cripple the boy. There was no point in trying to kill him.
