Name: Cale
Alias: N/A
Species: Hybrid (saiyan and human)
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Appearance: Standing at five feet and seven inches tall, Cale is above average in height for a boy his age. Despite this, he has a very toned figure and a muscular body. True to his blood, however, Cale is most often seen with a smile on his face when fighting against a powerful opponent. One trait that he inherited from the human side of his family is his short, black hair that has been slicked back. There are several small strands of his hair that remain without being slicked, which make them stick down slightly at his forehead. His favored accessory is a long, red headband that he dons before a major fight. Like many of his alien relatives, Cale has dark eyes and a brown monkey tail. This tail is usually wrapped around his waist, making it appear to be a strange, fur belt, showing his pride for his saiyan blood. What he wears as clothing varies widely, but he is most often seen in his black, school uniform.
History: Being a half-saiyan on Earth, it was only natural that Cale got some pretty strange looks growing up. He was raised solely by his human mother on Earth, a former martial artist that had taken some time off from her career to enjoy several vices. The identity of Cale's father has been unknown for the entirety of his life. The only thing he knows about the man is pure conjecture, which is that he must have been a powerful foe to make his mother even take a glance at him.
As a child just starting his formal education, there was always a sense of isolation from the other human children. Not only because of his odd tail, but he was generally easily angered and eager to pick fights with his peers even as a young boy. Meanwhile, his mother tried to discipline him to overcome the natural instincts that came with his saiyan heritage, but to no avail. At some point, she simply stopped trying and couldn't be bothered to even scold him anymore.
As he grew older, his violent nature grew more noticeable. During middle-school, he was already a well-known delinquent and feared by the majority of the other students. His reputation only grew further as he faced off against several other students that dared challenge him. All of his opponents were easily taken care of. Soon, rumors started floating about as a result of this. With each retelling of his story, vast exaggerations were incorporated. Not only did this make him even more isolated than before, but this assured him of the fact that he wouldn't be able to make a friend in his life.
Cale, constantly being talked about by others, eventually caught the attention of gangs from other schools. As a result, he constantly participated in street-fights and was noted to have a natural talent for beating people up. All of them were weaklings, making it more than easy to take care of them all. He maintained a strong winning-streak until one group managed to exploit a fatal weakness: his tail.
The day it happened seemed ordinary like every other. When a small gang of pseudo "Yakuza" ambushed him, he was unsurprised because of how often it happened. Their leader was a tall and burly senior-student, who figured out his weakness by pure luck. Cale was easily able to take out the vast majority of his crew, knocking them out with no effort needed. However, when he tried to move onto the horrified leader, one of the fallen gang members grabbed his tail, draining him of all power. Seizing the chance, the leader savored the opportunity to beat him up. By the end of it, Cale's face was bruised beyond belief. However, it was nothing compared to how hurt his pride was by the encounter.
From that day on, news of his first defeat spread like wildfire. No longer did he have the fear of his fellow classmates, instead, they had taken to joking about him. During this time, he had even been given "Dung-brain" as a nickname. It was almost impossible to control his anger, especially since he was unable to settle things with the yakuza that had shamed him as they both attended different schools.
One day, Cale decided to cut school (as he often had the tendency to do) and hang out by burger- joint to relax. Coincidentally, the Yakuza leader and crew from before had also decided to do the same. Unable to hold himself back, Cale immediately challenged him to a rematch. His challenge was accepted, for the leader was very confident that it would be another easy win. When they made it to a fairly isolated area of the town, Cale wholeheartedly allowed the entire crew to fight against him. However, he wasted no time and refused to allow the same cheap trick from before. He knocked all of them out with immense speed, making sure that all of them were really down for the count. Then, he went to take his revenge upon the leader of the group, who had an insanely horrified expression on his face. When he was going to start the beatdown, Cale chose not to go through with it, finding mercy when seeing how pitiful the older teen's face looked. Unfortunately, this meant that he would be unable to get his old reputation at school back, which he had to cope with for the rest of the year.
Cale soon moved onto high-school, moving on by just barely passing all his classes. His experience there started off similarly to how it was before, several street fight challenges and many unrelenting fighters that refused to back down. Again, he gained a reputation for being a fearsome street fighter. Oddly enough, however, he was able to befriend one of the more persistent challengers, Akira. The other freshman would always challenge Cale by himself, despite having a gang of his own, which Cale thought was very laudable. Eventually, he joined Akira's group and made it legendary around town. Despite this, the other members of the gang who personally got to know Cale were surprised to see that he wasn't the monster the school described him to be. They were surprised to learn that he was even somewhat interested in joining the school's drama club.
Eventually, this infamy would give them the attention of another combatant by the name of Rain. The rumors and gossip about Cale and his gang were often a hot topic, making it inevitable for even a visiting stranger to hear about them. Soon, Rain grew curious about them and chose to pay them a visit. One day, when Cale and Akira were walking home on the first week of March, Rain requested a fight against them. After getting over the initial shock of meeting another person with saiyan blood, Cale demanded that he and Rain fight each other one on one as he was the reason their gang was so infamous in the first place.
Cale was unsure of what to expect, but still thought that he'd come out of the fight victorious. He thought this until being brutally brought back down to reality. Rain was able to take care of him with no effort. No matter how much he tried, Cale couldn't get a single scratch on him. With a knee to the gut, Cale was on the floor. Rain, visibly disappointed by the poor fight, attempted to walk away. Cale immediately grabbed onto his leg, determined to not lose the match.
Rain couldn't help but take pity on him and made him an offer: he would train Cale as long as he proved to be more of a challenge next time they fought. Cale agreed, but couldn't help but feel an odd excitement over finding someone that was much stronger than he himself. Rain set a time for where they would meet on the next day, which Cale heavily anticipated from that day on. Akira tried to convince Cale to decline, but had no success.
For the next four weeks, Cale made enormous progress. He not only grew tremendously stronger, but also learned about Ki and its applications. Rain had also given him training on ladies, which he often tried to pay no mind. Rain soon left Cale after teaching him everything he knew, but was still certain that Cale would be unable to prove much of a threat.
Cale decided to go on an adventure of his own for awhile, school wasn't much of a priority for him anyway. His mother, however, was actually very worried when he announced this to her, much contrary to the reaction he had expected for her to have. Even still, Cale took off either way, eager to grow more powerful and defeat the very person that had trained him for the entire month.
