Appearance: 6'3" and with darkly tanned skin, Benetto is in relatively good shape due to his self-training. A wild mane of tangled pink locks (naturally brown) runs down to his shoulders, with two pink cat ears poking from the jungle of hair at the top of his head (His grandfather, the one who started the restaurant, was a zoanthrope. The ears are actually naturally pink.) Normally sporting a black t-shirt, cargo shorts, and a slightly glazed over expression on his face, this normal appearance is drastically changed when he dons the costume as Accelerando. Sporting a bright green vest with a cyan undershirt and purple pants, the costume is certainly...striking to say the least. A pair of thick black sunglasses completes the outfit. It wouldn't be too hard to tell his secret identity if the personality difference wasn't so striking!
History: Born in Satan City, his family was known for their local restaurant. Wanting to veer away from the family business, he moved to South Capitol to strike out on his own. Once there, he wound up becoming a DJ for a local nightclub known as The Night Neverending. One night, after returning from his job, he noticed a local kid running into a back alley he knew to stay away from. He tried advising the kid away from the area, but the child was scared off by Benetto's gruff personality. Wanting to help the area more, he slowly came to the decision to help out by patrolling the local area as a vigilante, with a far more goofy attitude to try and inspire the children. He took a read of "Groundbreaking Science", but found it rather hard to digest. He trained, and gained some mild manner of the conceptualization of ki, yet he has a hard time releasing it in a tangible form. At the moment, he does not have the abilty to fire ki blasts. While he does enjoy the role of a hero, he is very glad that nobody normally sees him underneath the costume. However, he may like the goofy hero persona more than he's willing to let on...
