So, everyone! With the saga happening, at the moment, I want to do a reminder with everyone, as I'm feeling the drama seethe from it. So, I want to make some things clear about it.
1) Techniques: When you're using techniques, you're using quite a bit of energy to do so! Normally, if you were to use a Basic Ki attack, you're effectively causing your attacks to be sent out in a range set up, but it's effectively the same level of strength you would have in a punch or kick! So, when you are firing these things, you're trying to batter your opponent up before you really use your very exhausting technique! That, though, is something elsewhere. Here's some food for thought, with a answer for your question: What's this technique going to use, when I attack? I will tell you this: There's a reason for why the mechanics explain each level attack as using a certain level of power...! That's a thing that I call the tiredness meter, which I will go over in the next section!
2) Tiredness Meter! Tiredness comes from using an attack that puts a lot of effort into an attack! So, how do we calculate this? Divide your technique's power, regardless of the number of turns charging, by 3. 33% PL attacks will drop your power level by 11%! 66%? Drop by 22%! 100%? 33% drop in fighting power!
Here's a guide for you to follow:
N1/V2- 33%=11% pl drop, 66%=22% pl drop, and 100%=33% PL drop!
UP2/UV3- 66%=22%, 132%=44% drop!, 200%= 66% drop PL drop!
MP3- 100%=33% drop, 200%=66% drop, 300%=100%!
Unique Techniques from schools and Demon Techniques of the offensive/Defensive category will follow the same guidelines as MP3.
Now, mind you, this will end up being your CURRENT Power level, so that means you're not out of the battle yet! However, you still need to keep in mind you're tiring yourself out! You have to strategize your attacks! Perhaps trick an opponent into hitting another or maybe even themselves! Using your techniques over and over again will yield weaker levels of power behind them.
Say that I'm using a character with 10,000,000 Power level and use a N1 ability. I will be using 3,300,000 power Level in that attack and my power level will drop to 8,900,000 Power Level. If I use a UP2 or UV3, which uses 66% of my Current PL, this ability fires at 5,874,000. The power level you have then goes down to 6,942,000. This means they are at about 69% of their fighting power.
I could go through all the combinations, but that'd take me longer than my lifetime x1000 to show all the different numbers.
But, there's another matter to be discussed that needs covering: Levels of Exhaustion.
3) Levels of Exhaustion: This is a matter every fighter comes across. There has not been 1 instance in the DB universe where characters haven't been exhausted or were tiring from a fight. That villain, who seems to be having the upper hand on our hero(s), actually tires as well (even the dreaded Majin Buu and God of Destruction Beerus have shown or admitted to getting tired), which is why you see the heroes putting all they had into that one last punch! The following chart will be using the system of, if at 50% or if at 100% power level
Exhaustion Level 1: Whether you've charged up to 100% or you've remained at a natural 50% of your strength (this is a thing to note of, by the way. If you don't specify what power level you're at, you're assumed to be at 50% and NOT 100%), you've been using some of your strength and have been breathing a bit heavy. If you're at 100%, this is noted once you've dropped to 80% of your maximum PL. If you're starting at 50%, this is more forgiving, showing signs at 40%. However, you've got plenty of Kick in ya! However, that ferocious aura you had is showing small signs of waning.
Exhaustion Level 2: You've started becoming sluggish, and your breathing is quite noticeable. However, you've got lots of energy still left in ya! This is between the range of 30%-40% and 60%-80%. You want to have a strategy in mind to take down your opponent! That aura of yours is also showing clear signs of tiredness! A dangerous sign for your opponent to strike! You still maintain your transformation in this state, but your aura is no longer there, if it was there to begin with.
Exhaustion Level 3: Keeping composure is no longer a thing to do. It's clear you're tired. Your sweat beads all over you, your eyes are getting heavy. The attacks from the opponent have gotten heavy and difficult to shrug off. This is between 20%-30% and 40%-60%. Creating a distraction, to retreat and/or recover would be advised! Maintaining your transformation is difficult (if it's not permanent), if not draining in its own right. That distraction is needed! Create one or hope one is made for you!
Exhaustion Level 4: You find it difficult to stand now. The air feels like daggers going into your lungs, but you gasp for it to keep alive. You find standing to be tiring, and your arms feel as though they're being pulled down by heavy chains. This state is between 10%-20% and 20%-40%. Maintaining transformations is no longer possible (unless your form is a permanent one).
Exhaustion Level 5: You can't stand on your feet. Daggers must clearly be stabbing you, as even the softest breath you take hurts so much. You can't keep your eyes open. This state comes between 0-10% and 0-20%. Being at 100% at the beginning will not matter in this case. You're blowing out your pipes. It's quite possible for you to get one last swing in and succeed, but you'd get pretty dang lucky if you did! You will immediately blackout after this.
4) Senzu Beans: Probably thought I wouldn't get to this? Wrong! I have information for your eye to read about it!
Senzu beans are ruled to be a once a thread deal! So, why am I mentioning this here, if it's already figured out? Well, here's the thing: Senzu Beans being used in Sagas are ALSO LIMITED TO ONE, TOO! Sagas have, so far, had a habit of continuing onwards after your individual battles, in which case, you're lacking information here!
Quick note: Saiyans, Hybrid Saiyans, and Bio Androids! Yes, you battle hungry warriors! I'm looking at you, as I too am one and can pluck you out from a crowd 10 miles away! You do not receive your Zenkai bonus until the end of the thread! The reason why is because you should be done with your battle in the first place, and not be traced and chased by your opponents.
5) Recovery: It's about time this was put to paper, as has been for... Half a year since the patch was supposed to happen... My god...
So, you're gonna want answers to this. Thankfully, I got something for you! Each turn you take, you'll be recovering a small amount of PL. This amount shall be varying, based upon the activity your character is doing per turn.
Standing around... Flying: Why you'd be floating around, out in the open or not, is a very, VERY BAD idea! However, you DO get to recover a bit of your energy... A whopping 1%. Seriously, why are you still flying there? Dive for cover!
Standing around: You're using some energy to recover yourself from your battle... A tad odd you're doing this instead of sitting or lying down in a bush, but I digress. This will be yielding 5% power level for doing this. Seriously, though, you really should still sit down and recover. It's better for you!
Sitting: There you go! Getting some good ol' energy back! However, you do realize sitting like that's gonna cause your leg muscles to hurt later if you cross your legs, right, right? Well... Anyway. You're gonna recover 7.5% here. (You're not gonna have leg issues. It's just me making some fun as I write these things up).
Lying Down: Getting really comfortable now, eh? You'll be putting yourself at risk by doing that, but I like your style! You're going to recover 10% of your maximum power level per turn. Still possible to dodge, but that's gonna be difficult if someone shooting a big blast at you...!
Sleeping: Wait... Wait, wait, wait! Are you actually sleeping?! That's just... What?! The balls you have..! Gain 15% per turn, but be warned: You'll be open to attacks! Even the sleeping Goku got hit by Krillin!
