Name: Dopod (from Psuedopod, in the theming of Cell.)
Alias: Trial/Attempt 23 (before showing promise as a working model)
Species: Bio-Android
Gender: Masculine voice and pronouns, though technically has no "true" gender.
Age: Under 10 minutes (completed.)/Roughly 80 years (counting incubation.)
Appearance:
Their creator having literally taken a page from Dr. Gero's road to bio-android creation, Dopod looks rather similar to Cell in some ways. In his current form, the structure on top ofhead looks quite similar to Imperfect Cell's, including the "helmet" formation and strange mouth. His actual head shape however, is much more reminiscent of a human's and is rather light in color. His eyes, however have a less intense expression, larger and less vertical pupils, and his expression looks somewhat less intense in general. The armor-like structure Imperfect Cell seems to have on his shoulders and upper chest, extend all the way down to Dopod's waist and cover the entirety of his arms. He has human-like hands, complete with five fingers, though he has strange dark brown curved claw-like nails rather than human-esque ones. His lower body is more similar to Imperfect cell's, with the darker armor-like coloration cutting off at the same place. He lacks the structures Imperfet cell had on his abdomen (due to the armor-esque pattern continuing over that.) and crotch. (just more of the same armor-like structure in it's place.) His feet have a more boot-like structure to them, and the instep and heel areas having the black (or in this case, dark brown.) structure seen on his head and chest. Around his joints and other areas there are gaps that look rather similar to muscle, a lot more explicitly so than with Imperfect Cell. He also has the wings which are barely functional, only allowing him to hover off the ground slightly, which is redundant since he, like most characters, can fly. The black sections seen on Imperfect Cell are present in the same places, but are also seen on his forearms, a large section of his shins, and shoulders. He also has a tail similar to, you guessed it, Imperfect Cell with which to absorb people.
As far as coloration goes, he is mostly a dark beige or frappucino color, darker or lighter in certain sections of his body. The muscle-like gaps in his exoskeleton are a gray off-purple color. The black structures, instead of being black like Imperfect Cell are a darker brown, and the coloration of the structure on the back of his head and mouth are similar to the coloration of the majority of his body, but lean far more towards a distilled brown-orange color than beige. His face and hands have the lightest color on his body, being a standard, light beige color.
History:
A man interested in the colorful history of his planet, by the name of Dr. Thomas Albert stumbled upon the history of a group in the past who built artificial humans, and at one point, made a form of Bio-android. Dr. Albert was never the most grounded person, always trying things despite any danger or ethical issues behind it. He was as intelligent as he was careless. Seeing this ultimate creation of another doctor as a challenge, he began working on his own version of the legendary Bio-Android. He figured his had a leg-up on the original, having an easier way to gain data from a multitude of planets, and the varied powerful and unique warriors on his own planet. He sent multiple drones to other planets and his own, collecting data for his Magnum Opus. Soon, he felt he had collected enough DNA and data to begin work on the Bio-android. The doctor first attempted using minimal resources to make sure he could make a stable product, and most ended in unrecognizable piles of sludge.
Dr. Albert got closer and closer to an actual stable creation, and almost believed he had reached it, when the creature took a larval or fetus-like state, only to turn to a mess of goop and small structures. The next trial was much more successful, as it formed a similar shape, and was able to maintain it. After weeks of watching, the creature stayed in that state, and might've even grew slightly. He input the rest of the genetic information, and the data recieved from the original bio-android's creator's notes into the Bio-Android and gave it an actual name rather than "23rd Trial" or "Attempt 23". Dopod.
The incubation process took much longer than expected, and Dr. Thomas Albert was long dead by the time Dopod had reached a form able to sustain itself outside of a controlled enviroment. Emerging from stasis with only the quest for "Perfection", innate fighting ability, a slew of abilities from various races, and a whole lot of confusion. Standing in the lab, looking out at the world around him, he can only wonder what the world has in store.
Starting Planet: Earth.
Genetic Traits:
Namekian Regeneration - After one or more posts of concentrating their energies, a namekian can regenerate their bodies to restore themselves to health, limbs bursting forward from an amputated stub or injuries closing up and filling in.
Zenkai - On taking serious, life-threatening damage in battle those with saiyan blood can gain a zenkai upon recovering from these injuries, which can cause rapid increases in power.
Namekian Elasticity - Limbs can stretch far beyond the limits of most creatures, allowing for further reach in melee combat and the ability to reach things one ordinarily wouldn't be able to.
Techniques:
Offensive:
[N1] Genetic Might - A Series of ki-infused punches, kicks, swipes, chops, and other physical blows that can be comboed in a variety of ways with one another. In a tailed form, Dopod can even use his tail to slash at, stab, or even just whack the opponent in the middle of the combo. The technique is a single one derived from various forms of physical martial arts, either recorded in history or still used by modern warriors and passed down into Dopod.
