Earth. A planet much different from Nor, which was mostly dark red and purple. Here, above was blue, and below was green, or brown. Buildings were differently shaped, people looked, talked, and dressed oddly. Luckily, Tenshi was able to adapt quickly to the odd dress style. She was still working non her speech.
Opposite from her days as a carnie, today the winged woman wore clothing, as opposed to covering herself with her own outer shell. It was definitely different, her soft, fleshy pink skin brushing against the cotton fibers of the purple tee she was wearing. Her blue jeans fell to her bare feet, her toes carressing the dirt and greenery on the forest floor. She gazed up at the sky, letting her blond waves sway in the slight breeze.
Tenshi loved the forest. Nor didn't have any, leastways not any like this. Reaching out her hands, she let the bark of two trees scrape against her palms. The smells wafted into her nose with each deep breath she took. She'd been told the word for it was "earthy," and she said it out loud, to feel how the sound felt rolling off her tongue. Odd at first, but she was getting better at it.
She pulled her hands away from the tree, looking around for a clearing. Once spotted, she took a few steps back, before running towards it. Her limbs moved gracefully, each leg pumping with timed precision. Three feet from the center of the clearing, she brought her out foot in, bent both knees and pushed hard from the ground. White-feathered extensions of her back pushed up, then brought themselves down, rushing her into the sky.
There was nothing quite like the feeling of the wind up here, the turquoise reflection of oceans far below. Her wings spread out, gliding. White marshmallow clouds above, green Earth below. This truly was peace. Another great flap sent her even higher, sun beating on her clothed back. Pushing her weight, Tenshi spun to the left, then back to the right. She even tried a couple of flips. The air pushed through her feathers, whipping her hair, tearing at her clothing. There was nothing more fun.
When finally she had tired of her play, the Valkyrie landed once more. Feet touhcing lightly against the ground, wings still spread out. She had landed in front of a great pool of water, clear and undisturbd. She looked at her own reflection. Wings drawn back close to her body, she tiptoed to the edge of the pool, kneeling down. A few feathers had fallen in, causing small ripples, floating.
Tenshi had seen many different races during her work for the carnival. Some she'd seen here on Earth. But, during her twenty-seven years of memory, she'd never seen anyone quite like her. Yes, there'd been winged people before, it wasn't too terribly uncommon, but no one quite like herself.
Lost in her thoughts, Tenshi stared blankly at the pool.

Toma hadn't done much, recently. He'd fought a woman in south City, who appeared to be Saiyan, but she seemed to slip away from him. And he'd had a good spar with the Namekian known as Ukare as well, and he'd even trained Scargot a little. But he hadn't seen Ukare for a while. He let out a sigh as he flew over the skies of the planet Earth. It was a pleasant place, and over the few months he'd been here, Toma had learned to call this planet his home. He even knew that Scargot had created the Dragon Balls, but they'd been scattered across the globe. He needed to go and gather them, to wish his home world back. But he had no way of finding them... and he was tired. He needed a break. His stomach growled as he happened upon a clearing with a large pond inside of it, and he grinned. He'd just found his dinner.
He landed shortly after spotting the pool, and he stripped down into his boxers, and set his clothes aside on a rock. After that, he jumped into the pool, laughing as he did. For a while, he just relaxed in the water, until eventually, his stomach called to him once more. After that, he dove under the water, and an absolutely massive fish passed by him! Toma had never seen a fish that large! It might actually satiate his apptitie!
With a swift punch, the fish flew out of the water, long dead before it hit the shoreline. But, unbeknownst to Leon, another being had landed at the pool of water. A winged woman, that Toma didn't spot until he came up from the water again, gasping for air as he watched his fish fly. He looked over to the woman, with a confused expression on his face, before letting out a laugh and rubbing the back of his head. “Sorry about that!” Toma called. “I didn't scare you, did I?”

Tenshi's thoughts were interrupted as a large splash sent ripples through her reflection. Before she had any time to react, a fish flew out of the water, followed closely by a man erupting upwards. Any intimidation was lost as he took a large gulp of air, before spotting Tenshi. The Valkyrie had been startled though, and hopped back a few feet. She clutched her arm in embarassment as the man spoke To her.
"Sorry about that!" He rubbed the back of his head, shaking water from his dripping black hair. "I didnt scare you, did I?"
"N-no," Tenshi replied. It was only half a lie. He hadn't scared her, per-se, so much as just startled her. Letting go of her arm, she walked over to the fish that had so brusquely been thrown out of its home. It was clearly dead, must have been before it touched the ground. She pointed to it. "Is this yours?" Inside her head she chided herself. It was a dumb question. Of course it was his, after all it was only she and he in the clearing. Then again, she had thought just moments before she was alone...
"Is there anybody else in there?" She asked, somewhat awkwardly. She really hadnt expected to have any sort of interactions with another person on her outing. Least of all from someone who made such a splash of an entrance.

Toma smiled and laughed a bit as the winged woman answered his question. He was glad, that he hadn't scared her. He wasn't the kind of person to take joy from that kind of thing. It wasn't his style. He was gentle, almost unbelievably so for a Saiyan, and he prefered to spend his days training and sparring, and occasionally relaxing like today. With his mop-top dripping from the water, he began to wade out over towards the fish he'd just killed. A perfect meal for the Saiyan. One might consider that amount of food for one man to be insane, but for Toma, it was the average meal. After all, he did burn a lot of calories. She asked him if the fish was his. "Yup! Big guy, isn't he? I can't wait to get him home and start cooking!" Toma replied, letting out a laugh again as his tail swayed in the cool air, shaking off what little water remained trapped in it's fur. He looked back over to the winged woman once more, smiling. "Say, you're not from around here, are you?" He spoke, before walking over to a nearby tree. He raised his fist, then sent a lightning fast punch at the base of the trunk, knocking the tree clear from it's base and causing it to fall.
"I'm not from around here either, so I can get how you feel. I've never seen a person with wings like that before, though." He commented again, before looking back at the lake at her last question. "Nope, nobody else here but you and me."

Hair dripping, the nearly naked man began making his way towards the shore. He claimed the fish as his, proclaiming it as large. Tenshi nodded in agreement. It was a rather large fish, considering the size of the pool of water it had come from. Tenshi turned her attention towrads the man, also taking note of his boxers. She was relatively glad that he wasn't naked, having left his remaining clothes on the rocks by the shore. As awkward of an interaction as this might turn out, that definitely would have been worse. He shook the water from his hair, which now splayed out, and would likely stay until it had dried. This made Tenshi feel more at ease; he was less intimidating.
"Say, you're not from around here, are you?" He walked to a nearby tree, raised his fist. Unsure, Tenshi tensed up, and jumped slightly when he slammed it into the tree, knocking it clear over.
"S-sorry, you startled me..." Tenshi apologized, feet lighting against the ground. "And yeah, I'm not from around here...not sure where I'm from actually." She wasn't sure why she was opening up to this stranger, but didn't intend to give him more information than necessary, considering the winged woman didn't know the man's intents. Without looking at Tenshi, though, he replied.
"I'm not from around here either, so I can get how you feel. I've never seen a person with wings like that before though." Tenshi nodded, still wondering whether there was someone in the lake. Luckily, her earlier question was also answered. "Nope, nobody else here but you and me." This lightened Tenshi's mood. Since she'd come to be alone, the more people here the worse. But, she didn't mind spending a little time with this man. The winged woman crossed her wings behind her back, choosing to sit while she waited for Toma. He had mentioned that he intended to cook the fish, but she didn't want to get in his way.
"So, what brings you out this far?" She asked, attempting to be casual. "I actually enjoy flying around and looking at various environments. Lakes can be quite pretty as well." She gestured at the water, beginning to calm down from the exit of Toma. Remembering something he'd said, Tenshi continued, not really sure what else to do. "I haven't seen any other aliens with wings...my knowledge of humans dictates that they don't grow them. They're rather useful, really." She finished, a little awkwardly. She hadn't been able to interact with many people, and so was relatively socially awkward.

“I don't live too far off, and I'm new to this planet. I wanted to take a look around and I got hungry as I was flying, so I decided to go catch a fish.” Toma spoke, replying to the woman's question about what had brought him out here. That was the truth. This woman seemed nice enough, if a bit shy, and he didn't sense that much power coming from her. She wouldn't be a threat if she tried to attack him, not that he'd want to get into a fight today anyways. He didn't feel the need to fight constantly like most Saiyans. His tail unwrapped from his waist and shook a little bit, shaking off the water that coated it's fur. He then raised his hand above the tree he'd just knocked down, and he brought his hand down on top of it, cutting it right down the middle. He was planning on making this tree into firewood. He did always prefer authentic wood fires to oven heated foods anyways. They tasted better, in his opinion.
After that, she spoke about how she didn't know where she was from. Toma knew that feeling. He had always felt out of place on Sylor before he had known what a Saiyan was. Of course, that didn't stop the people there from caring for him and raising him anyways, and all in all, he felt like he'd had a good life so far. He smiled at her after dragging the tree over near the shoreline and he sat down on one of the halfs he'd made. “Really? I know that feeling. Not knowing where you're from, I mean. Believe it or not, I wasn't raised around my species either. So I can kinda relate.” He said, smiling. He wasn't sure of her backstory and he didn't care to know unless she spoke of it first, but making a new friend was always a good oportunity.
“And yeah, I don't think Humans grow wings either, but that hasn't stopped them from learning how to fly. And yes, I agree, this planet is quite beautiful. I've never seen such rich environments before, even on my home world.” He spoke, as he floated in the air a little bit to demonstrate his point about humans flying, even though he wasn't human. Still though, it was the same concept. “So now it's your turn. What brings you to Earth? Did you get lost or somethin'?” Toma asked curiously, tilting his head a little bit in curiosity.

Toma told Tenshi of how he didn't live far off, had gotten hungry, came here to fish. Tenshi thought of him as human, until he unwrapped his tail from about his waist. For a brief second, the valkyrie's body flashed with fear, for an unknown reason. She pushed it to the back of her brain, assuming she'd just been startled. She knew what beings with monkey tails were, and had no reason to fear them, as far as she knew. Toma shook the water out of his fur, and chopped his downed tree in twain.
Toma sat on one half of the tree, across from Tenshi. He then explained how he'd been raised away from his own species, like Tenshi. She listened, taking it all in. It was always nice to meet someone new, particularly one who understood from experience what its like to not have been raised by their own people.
"And yeah, I don't think humans grow wings either, but that doesn't stop them from flying." He floated from his trunk briefly to demostrate, causing Tenshi to laugh. "So now it's your turn. What brings you to Earth? Did you get lost or somethin'?"
"That doesn't count...you're not human. You're a Saiyan," Tenshi said in response to his floating. "As for why I'm here...I guess or something. I was raised by a carnival, a bunch of strange people. It wasn' always easy, and it wasn't always lawful. But I digress. We got into some heat, and had to move to Earth, where we hadn't been heard of; yet. I detached myself, something I still regret. They were my family, and Ì simply wanted to experience life on my own." Tenshi sighed, before remembering she was talking to a complete stranger. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to let all that out." Standing up, she stretched her wings out, shaking out a few loose feathers. Unsure of what else to say, she asked Toma "Do you need any help with cooking the fish?"

Toma laughed a bit when Tenshi spoke about how he “didn’t count” because he was a Saiyan instead of a human. Honestly, he didn’t even consider himself to be a Saiyan. Although, he was a Saiyan, and there was no denying that fact. He had accepted that part of himself, dark as it may be, and had moved on. Or so he liked to think, at least. He smiled at her. “Alright, fair enough. Still, though, my point remains the same.”
But then he listened to her tales of how she had arrived on the planet. She was part of an intergalactic circus? That certainly wasn’t something that Toma had heard about, but it wasn’t so odd, now that he’d thought about it for a few seconds. Interplanetary communications and broadcasts were so often nowadays, so why wouldn’t this work? Toma chuckled at the thought. It certainly seemed like a fun idea, if nothing else.
But then she spoke about how she had detached herself from her coworkers and how she regretted it. That rung some deep emotional bells for Toma, thinking back to his family. He closed his eyes and let out a sigh through his nose as he looked over at her, letting out another smile. “I understand what it’s like to lose your family. You feel lost, alone, right? I felt that way once too. But then I landed here, and got my second chance… At first I was passing through, but now I think I might want to stay on Earth. It’s a wonderful world, really.” Toma said, as he looked over to the fish. “As for the fish, sure. I’d love some help.” He said, as he stood up, grabbing the tail fin of the fish and dragging it over to the spot between where the two beings had been setting.
“We’re gonna need some rocks for a fire pit. Mind helping me find some?”

"Sure."
Tenshi got up, stretching out her six limbs, arms up, wings out, legs down. Looking around, she saw many differet stones that would work for a fire pit. The closer to the water, the smoother they got, and Tenshi liked the aesthetics of them. Also, they would work fine for practicality. She set to work, picking up stones, moving them closer to Toma, and arranging them in a circle, touching.
Tenshi then began to gather smaller bits of wood, better for getting the fire lit, allowing the larger logs more time to heat up, and remain heated. She looked up at Toma, doing his portion of the work. She wanted to talk, but wasn't really sure where to begin a new conversation. Turning away, she allowed herself a few more moments to think.
"Whereabouts Earth do you live, uh..." It was then that the Valkyrie realised that, all this time, they'd never introduced themselves. She laughed, turning to Toma, giving him a large smile. "You know, we've been conversing this whole time, and we never introduced ourselves. My name is Tenshi." If Toma extended his hand in introduction, Tenshi would take it, before proceding to the water's edge. Extending her stance, she closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, exhaling through the nose. Tenshi focused her ki, materialising her lance. It resembled more of a spear, just a shaft with a point. This one was thinner than normal, to help with her next task. Focusing, eyes tracking, she thrust the spear in a diagonal, pulling it out, tipped with another fish.
"I actually live in the city. Its...less familiar, than nature, to me? Not really sure why...but I kind of feel like I belong. A singular entity, lost in a mass of matter, able to hide, among others, odd like myself, in different ways." She flipped the fish off her lance, it landing next to the other one, letting the weapon dissipate. "I guess...it reminds me of the Carnival?"

Generally I don't split adds like this cause it can add (pun intended ) confusion, but we've had a few instances of dropped w/out word threads this week so I'm making an exception. Just pointin' out its an exception, should anyone demand this of me in the future! Tenshi, I got your WC at 1825 and your gains at 1369 Zeni! Toma , I got your WC at 1340, lemme know what you would like please? Adding for Tenshi.
