As Seth ran, he could hear the ensuing explosions behind him. Never had he run this fast to escape something trying to harm him, but he wasn't thinking about this now. Now was the time to run, not to think.
The rain beat down on him with great intensity, causing him to be ever so slightly slowed due to gash in his leg that poured blood onto the ground. Somehow, he had escaped the situation he was just in, only receiving the cut that slowed him in the middle of the torrential downpour of energy balls and rain. Luckily, though, all he needed was to escape his father's anger, but even that wasn't certain to him.
The day had started like any other in the forest. He would first get up early, then train, then eat, rinse and repeat until the day was done. But today was different. Today, like every Thursday, the eat part was taken out. It was his father's philosophy that training on an empty stomach was the absolute best way to train, but Seth knew from experience that that simply was not true. It left the mind to wander and only think about food, as was natural for him.
Whilst they were training, Seth's mind began to wander like it did during every Thursday practice. He would begin to think of the food he could be eating, and how he could be relaxing in his cozy little cave. But, like always, a stern slap was to be delivered to the back of his head. This time, though, Seth caught it before it landed. One fight and a nasty cut later, Seth was now running from his father whom was shooting wildly through the forest.
As the shots began to die down, Seth finally fell to the ground to rest. He knew his father was most likely searching through the forest for him to deliver his punishment fully, but Seth couldn't risk it. For all he knew, his father would kill him without a second thought. Then it finally came to him.
As Seth fumbled through his pockets, he finally found the capsule that contained the ship. Not too long ago, a strange individual gave him the capsule, saying to use it when times were rough. He didn't care what it was, he had to use it now.
The broken ship burst out of the capsule. There was no time to think, now was the time for action.
Seth slowly crept into the ship, hitting the first button within his reach. At this point, he didn't care where it took him, he just needed to leave immediately. He watched the ship begin to rise before his finally gave out due to the blood loss from the wound on his hip.
