It was another ordinary day on Planet Earth. Things were quite peaceful lately and Athren actually didn't mind it even though he did crave some fighting but that would have to wait until there was some kind of trouble. At this point in time he was in the apartment with nobody but his dog Sprocket. It was kind of strange, he hadn't seen Kaiyo or Anzu for a handful of days. He hoped they were doing alright and assumed they were but I guess his training schedule had interfered with their interactions.
Currently, Sprocket had been locked up in his cage for making a mess on the floor. Athren wasn't one for cleaning but he did promise Anzu that he would take care of his puppy."Alright Sprocket. We're going out but you better be good. If you aren't you'll wind up right back in there, Got it?!" With a very demanding tone Athren told his puppy how it was going to be. Sprocket didn't understand a word but he still couldn't resist standing and wagging his tail a mile a minute. He knew what out meant and usually that meant he could run freely and do whatever he wanted. Letting out a light bark, he rushed his owner to free him.
Athren then walked over to the black cage that Sprocket had been locked in. Taking a knee Athren unlatched the lock on the front. Swinging the door open now, Sprocket leap out and attempted to pounce his owner. Of course it would have been obvious but the puppy couldn't knock Athren over. Instead he just gave him kisses. Athren let out a light laugh as he petted his dog with both hands. "Sucking up to me now, huh? You just dont want to get into trouble again. Anyhow, Time to go." With that, Athren scooped his tiny dog up in a cradle carry. It was now time to head to a training location. His pick this time was different than most of his previous ones. This time he was heading to the mountains. He had flown over them before and there was a gully in between that was more than flat enough for training. Though this area wasn't big it would have to do.
With his puppy the young saiyan warrior walked over to the already opened window and climbed out. Before he fell too far he used his ki to blast him and his furry little companion in the direction of the mountains he had saw previously. If he guessed right it wouldn't even take him ten minutes to get there. As he flew Sprocket stayed quiet. His dog didn't like the whole flying thing and it made sense as to why. Regardless, like Athren's hair Sprocket's fur blew gently in the wind.
Exiting the city and flying over plains and emptiness, Athren and his pup eventually ended up at the mountains. He didn't know what they were named but they were too far from the Desert that he had landed in when he first arrived to this planet. He then landed on the grassy chunk of flat, solid ground and set his puppy down. There were tree's and rough terrain around but ideal for puppy play. Sprocket then ran towards the tree's. He was a very curious dog and loved to explore. "Now that you're gone.. Guess I'll try and get this technique down." He mumbled to himself quietly.
With that, Athren closed his eyes and focused. He didn't know how to wrap this technique around his head but he thought of it being similar to the Ki sense Technique that he had learned prior. What he was going to do was feel his Ki inside of his body and see where he had stood in his energy. Once he tapped into that feeling he was going to attempt to confine and hide it. This wasn't going to be easy, that was for sure.

Emer sat there for a little bit within the desert, the heat wave that had come that day was awe inspiring. It felt as if he was sitting within the sun itself. If he had to guess, it was around nearly a hundred and thirty degree's Fahrenheit here in the sands. "Jesus... This heat is sometimes a bit unbearable. How can Nai enjoy this place so much? I think if I had to live out here for the rest of my life. I would probably die from dehydration than anything." Alith and Irith began to laugh within his head as he spoke. It seemed that they also agreed that the heat was a bit uncomfortable. The sand under his skin, felt as if it had been lit on fire. It was so hot, that even his skin felt like it was cold against it. Altih began to poke at Emer's head as he laid there in the sunlight. 'Well, why do you lay here in the sand? If it's so hot go ahead an head back into your house. There's more to do there than out here.'
Suddenly a power flared up towards the west, in the middle of Alith trying to talk to him. Emer's senses kicking in as he sat up quickly. The power was foreign to him, he had never sensed someone this high besides for Nai. Even Pieter didn't let off this much power when he had meet the male. At the time, he had respected the power that Saiyan had held, but he had long since then surpassed it. A small smile came across his face as he finally spoke back to Alith. 'Cause, if I was going to sit in the house all day, I probably would be too busy in that damn chamber. If that was the case, I wouldn't be able to sense this interesting power level.' The girl remained quiet as if she was just in disbelief. 'You know, for a Male that has been through a lot of fighting, and has the scars to show it. You enjoy it a bit too much, one may think that you are indeed a Masochist in some way's Emer.' The male stayed quiet for a moment as he stood up popping his neck.
A small smile seemed to cross his face as he nodded. 'I may as well be it seems. A good fight is always welcomed by me... I mean it's been a while since I've had one... I think the last good fight I had was against Ninjin. She was able to push me to my max. No one has done that for me in a long time. So I might just enjoy running into this man, if he could do the same thing that the girl could do.' Without saying much more, the tall male rose into the air slowly, before firing off like a rocket. Heading towards the source of power he had felt just a minute ago. It hadn't been for long, but it was enough for him to track it. A small trail was left behind as it flew through the air. Due to his advanced sense, he could somewhat track someones signature as it left a small trail similar to their signature. Made it so much easier to find the path someone took.
After flying Emer came to a sudden halt in mid air, as he looked around the area he had just arrived at. It seemed that the trail had ended in the middle of no where. Looking down at where it took a sudden drop, he could see nothing but tree's in the distances, and a small opening a bit towards the north. Flying down to the ground, Emer's feet softly landed as he lost track of the power. It seemed the person was trying to hide his presence. 'Man why is it everyone has to make things so complicated... It was so much easier to find the acrosian... I mean he was in a cold place, sure it got warmer just like my leg is.... Wait, my leg is warm?' Looking down he saw a small animal hiking it's leg and releasing it's bodily fluids onto Emer. A small growl escaped the man as he reached down grabbing the thing by it's back fur. "Why you li-" Before he could finish his sentence the thing latched onto his arm.
A loud roar came from Emer as he crashed through the tree's knocking them down into the opening as the dog held onto his arm drawing as much blood as it could. In the opening he spotted a man standing in the middle of it. The enraged Emer shouted towards him. "Is this damn mongrel your pet? If so it's seriously annoying the hell out of me!" Should Athren turn, he would see the dog latched onto Emer's arm growling and wiggling it's entire body. Trying to inflict as much damage as the small puppy could. Emer could easily removed the thing by breaking it's teeth by raising his power slightly, but for him hurting a small pup would just be cruel. "WELL?!?!?!" He asked his voice raising in anger. If it went on much longer, to hell with it being a puppy.

In a state of complete serenity Athren had his eyes closed and was focusing deep on getting this whole Ki suppression thing down. It wasn't going to be quite as easy as he had hoped but the only way he was going to get it done was by taking his time and putting effort into it. Then when he believed he got it down he'd have no choice but to ask somebody to sense his power. If they sensed it clearly he would have failed. It hadn't been too long since Athren had arrived at this location. Currently he was trying to get the feel of his ki and sense it like he had done for sensing ki. If he could feel it he would have more control over it. Once he did that his next step was try to hide it. How was he going to do that..? He didn't know.
Of course things wouldn't have sailed smoothly. A loud crash had gotten his attention. Both of his eyes opened quickly as he didn't know what to expect. His first thought was Sprocket had made the noise but it was much too loud to be caused by him. There was no chance that a puppy of his calibre would be able to pull that off. His second though..? Was somebody was coming to fight him. That made sense as he didn't think he'd bump into somebody out in this part of the world. Regardless, he was about to have a situation on his hands and he'd have to deal with it.. Finally, Athren turned towards the cause of the noise. He wasn't impressed with what he had laid his eyes on.
~ You've got to be kidding me Sprocket, Why!?~ Athren's ocean blue eyes laid upon Emer and Sprocket. Sprocket had apparently gone all vicious and tried to rip his damn arm off. It didn't make sense as to why but Athren would need to make a quick solution first. He then rushed over to the pissed off, White haired male. He didn't want Sprocket chewing on his arm any longer than he had to. "YEAH! He's mine! Sorry about this!" Reaching the two, Athren extend his hands and gripped Sprocket lightly. "BAD DOG. LET HIM GO SPROCKET, NOW!!!" He yelled out scolding his small little dog.
Luckily Sprocket had listed to his master. Upon being gripped by Athren Sprocket released Emer's arm and went into a hold by Athren. Athren held Sprocket in his right arm and close to his chest. Now that the solution had been made Athren could focus on why the hell this white haired man was here. Though, Something about him looked familiar though he couldn't pick it out. Did he meet this guy before..? No.. Or did he know of his race? Athren couldn't quite put his finger on it. Though that wasn't the main concern. "I'm sorry about this. Really, I am." Athren said with a faint smile, did he really have to apologize so much? Sure. Overdoing it wouldn't hurt in this situation but... it did make him sound quite.. Pathetic.. "I've never seen him do something like that before. It's strange, but again. My apologies." After the repetitive apologies Athren glanced down to Sprocket. His teeth were still bared and he was growling in a very low, yet quiet tone. It didn't make sense. This guy appeared to be normal and everything. Was Sprocket sensing something underneath this man's exterior?? A Dark inside? Who knew?! ~ What the hell has gotten into you Sprocket? I've never seen you like this.. Wonder what it is about this guy that he doesn't like?! Doesn't add up..~ That had been running through Athren's head.
Anyhow, The young saiyan warrior lifted his chin back up to place his eyes on the newcomer. He didn't have anything else to add to what he had already said. He got the apology out and that was all he could do, at least.. that was until this man spoke up. He'd have to wait and see how he reacted. Hopefully it wouldn't go too far... If he had, Athren would need to find a way to take off his heavy weights, get Sprocket to safety and then fight him, but again... Hopefully it wouldn't have to go that far..

Emer stood there for a little bit looking over Athren. As the man came over talking to the dog, calling it sprocket as he was trying to pry it from his arm. There was no blood coming from him, but the irritation the dog had been causing was getting a bit out of hand. Finally, the male in front of him shouted at the dog, causing it to release Emer's arm as he stood there. A small smile appeared on the Kagami's face. For some reason he was pleased to have the thing removed from his arm. Shaking his head slightly, he wondered what the hell had gotten into him? Why was he happy that no harm came to the small animal as he was removed from his arm? Emer stood there for a moment as the man began to apologize towards him. A small shake of his head as he looked at him. "You can't apologize for something that wasn't in your control. I believe I startled the dog, as he was pissing down my leg."
Suddenly Emer caught sight of a tail. His gaze narrowed down at the filthy thing on the man. The aura around Emer could be sensed as it shifted from his calm demeanor to solid blood lust. His appearance also seemed to shift from a calm being to one that was starring at a prey, or something that he was going to kill. "I see... No wonder you possessed such a high power... You're a saiyan after all." The mans red eyes shifted up towards Athren's own. Emer's eyes seemed to fade with any emotion besides that of rage and anger. But something was strange with the Kagami as he clenched and unclenched his fist. Alith and Irith where talking to him within his head. 'Hey hey, Emer hold on now, you do know that this is the perfect opportunity for you to control your anger right? I mean, he may be one of the saiyans, but you did state that you needed one to be able to control your own rage.' Alith was providing a sound argument for him, but it was hard to control his emotions at this point. Especially when he hadn't expected to run into one so soon.
'Alith is right Emer, if you ever wish to control this rage that you feel, than you need to tone it down slightly use this saiyan right now to control your anger. For all you know, he could be a friend of Nai's and she would be seriously upset with you if you hurt hurt him.' Emer stood there for a moment, that last statement could be true after all, Nai already did possess a friend that was half saiyan, what would stop her from having a friend that was full blooded? A small sigh seemed to escape the tall Kagami as he put his arm behind his head, using his hand to rub his neck as he looked back at the man. "At any....rate." His words being choose carefully as he looked at the man. "I do believe... that you're not from around here... Especially bringing a dog like that into the mountains... There's things here they'll kill him if you don't watch closely... Like over there..." Emer's finger lifted to point at what seemed to be a bob cat eying the puppy within Athren's arms.
"Everything in this mountain... Could kill that pup without a sound and you wouldn't be able to sense it when it happens. Unless... You can follow a persons trail like I can... If I recognize your Ki signature, you leave behind a small trail in which I can follow..." He said stating how his senses had been a bit more advanced than that of others. It had taken him a while to gain control over that. Clearing his throat a bit, Emer walked back towards a tree and stood beside it, the further away he was from the guy the better. As he wasn't sure how long it would be, that he could control his anger towards the mans race. "If...I'm a little strange... Be warned... I hunt things of your species saiyan..." He said reminding himself that he normally hunted and killed the saiyans, for what they had done to him. His appearance could definetly gave off the fact he had been in plenty of battles in his time. And the fact that he was standing here in front of another saiyan, just went to show that they had populated more than one planet now... So many of them had been on earth it seemed.
Cracking his neck for a moment he starred at the saiyan in front of him, wondering what it was he was going to do. He had never been this close in proximity of one, besides for Ninjin and he had been ordered not to attack her. "Though... Today's my day off." He said making ity sound like it was his job. But he figured that he'd get that out there, before the man began taking evasive manuevers to get out of there. Though Emer's Power level right now, being suppressed by his weights, and his on ki suppression would seem to be no higher than a low class saiyan right now. With it sitting neatly at only a small seven thousand power level. A nice number he figured, as the seven thousand often lead people to misjudge his own strength.

Athren had arched a brow curiously as he heard the words of the man. The words he had spoke were right. There was nothing Athren could do about it because it wasn't in his control but Sprocket was his responsibility. Since his puppy had did something stupid he had to take blame for his pet, Right? Smiling lightly, Athren lightened up a little bit. This guy seemed alright, he hadn't been freaking out over the incident that had just occurred so maybe he had been light hearted too. Whatever the case though, Athren would find some way to deal with it. "You may be right there but he is my dog, so that does make him my responsibility and therefore. I believe I owed you that apology. Did I not?" Nobody could deny the fact that the saiyan did have a valid point here.
Now was time for Athren to listen, though the man's next words were kind of discomforting. Maybe it was the way he had said it. Athren didn't know but it just didn't seem right. Paying closer attention Athren could see the fires of rage and anger burning it the mans eyes. It was somewhat of a guess, but Athren assumed he had past encounters with saiyans that ended in suffering in pain. Athren had noticed a twitch in the mans body that had ended up having his fist clench and unclench. Hm. This could end up being quite troublesome.
Hearing the mans sigh he didn't know what his next words would be. He expected something that wouldn't be simple words of kindness but something along the lines of a threat. Luckily that hadn't been the case... yet. Though Athren expected something to come of that saiyan comment. Athren wouldn't bring it up, he wanted to avoid a hostile situation at all cost. Especially with little Sprocket in his arm. Athren then saw the mans arm move, he then saw a pointed finger.. Naturally Athren's line of sight had followed the direction which the man had been pointing. It was then that he had seen the bob cat that had been eyeing up Sprocket. On the bright side Athren had learned something new, he had never thought of this before but the world that he was currently living in was in fact a dangerous place. Maybe not for him but for small creatures like Sprocket. Maybe this encounter wasn't so bad after all. Now he'd know to keep a better eye on his pet. "I guess you're right. I'll keep that in mind. Maybe the beach and open fields are best for him."
The next set of words then kicked in. WAIT!? WHAT DID HE SAY?! Athren's eyes couldn't help but go wide at the mere shock of the said statement. This guy didn't just admit to be the saiyan hunter that Athren had gone out to look for just weeks before this? Did he!? At this point, Athren's free fist clenched tightly and his body tensed up. In all honesty, If it wasn't for Sprocket being here he'd be launching himself forward and tossing out a devastating combination of attacks. It would be an all or nothing type deal. Either kill or be killed type thing UNLESS he could manage to talk this hunter out of it though he couldn't see that happening. Athren couldn't help but ask himself ~ Why here!? Why now!? Why with Sprocket in my arms! DAMN IT.~ Little did Athren know, that having Sprocket here would most likely be the very reason he'd get to see Kaiyo again or anything for that matter for if he had rushed in like he wanted too, he would most likely end up with a case of death.
Athren then responded with a loud tone of annoyance. It would have been spread all over his face that he wasn't impressed with the man. "First of all. Why? What has caused you to hunt members of my race? Sure, I get that a majority of saiyan's are completely disrespectful bastards that wouldn't hesitate to kill even the smallest creatures but they do deserve to live just as much as the rest of us. So tell me, Why?!" With that Athren went quiet. The way he had now stood would have shown that he was ready for the worst if it had come too it. With his blood pumping, he couldn't wait to hear the mans words.

(Just for me to remember Athren:45,865 pl at start of the thread. Emer: 73,580 since I haven't been graded since the topic with Nai and Ninjin.)
Emer stood there for a moment, listening to the man speak about the dog in his arms. It seemed to be starring at Emer, growling slightly towards the Kagami. A soft sharp smile appeared on his face when the things attention shifted in the direction that Athren had pointed. It seemed the dog wanted to go play with the cat like creature. "You may be it's owner... But the fact to apologize so much... Shows the lack of discipline you have for the thing." His voice was cold as he looked the saiyan over. It seemed that this male would put up a good fight should he wish to challenge him. Hid body and soul ached to go after him, the only thing keeping him back right now was his mind, and the help of the two goddesses holding Emer there. Though he said it was his day off, he had made that up slightly, as he wished to see the mans reaction. The clenching and unclench of his fist gave him a clue. A creepy smile appeared on Emer's face as he looked up at him with a small crazed look in his face. His finger raising from underneath the cloak to point at Athren's hand. "Good... Seems you do wish to fight..."
Though Emer wasn't going to waste this chance here... He had the perfect opportunity to take this man out... But the puppy deserved nothing... "This is so stupid... I'm hesitating cause you're holding that damn... adorable... no that... cute... fuck just the mutt in your arms is innocent..." Making a small tsk sound Emer's arm went back under the cloak, as he starred out at the saiyan. It seemed the man didn't intend to just rush him out right, but the next thing he mentioned made a small smile appear on the Kagami's face as he instantly moved right in front of the saiyan, he was a good twenty feet away before as he had walked back towards the trees , and Now he was in the mans face, or nearly as he stood about two feet away. "You wanna know why I hunt them? You want to know the reason I kill your kind? Maybe I could enlighten you with my memories, though that wouldn't do you any good. How about I show you the body they created? The thing that stands in front of you? The way they treat every one of my race?" He said as he reached up with his arm and removed his weighted clothing. Suddenly the Kagami's power level shot up to about fifty thousand, which was barely higher than Athrens currently.
Once the cloaked reached the ground, it shook the ground cracking it underneath Athren at this range could now see the full height of the Kagami. He stood out seven feet, the tallest out of his race. If Athren hadn't remembered just yet what was familiar with him. The bright white hair would give away the Kagami's traits. As it glowed in a rainbow of colors as the light bounced off of it. Each shift in the hair, caused different colors. The wind blowing also made them change colors. But with the now topless Emer, the man could see him as he was. On his right side, was just a stub of an arm, that no longer existed. His body looked like a map of scars, there wasn't a place on him that a scar didn't exist. You'd have to take like a pen to even touch a spot without touching a scar. The bright pinkish skin, was prevalent towards his nearly pale like skin. His body was somewhat disfigured to, as it looked like it had been punctured or beaten into submission at some parts. The Kagami's deep red eyes starred down at him. His body would be disgusting to most, and even make them uneasy with the scars. But Emer was sure Athren wouldn't be.
Well, he couldn't say that for certain, the man could possibly be disturbed by the fact of so many wounds, even on his face seemed to be prevalent. On his chest where his heart was suppose to be, there where scars there. But on his right side of his chest was a clear circle, the only part you could touch without scars, was where his heart had been. Emer was born with it on the wrong side of his body. "This... This is why I hunt and kill you. This is why I will continue my path of destruction. Till none of you live anymore. So the countless of Kagami that have been raped like me, used as a toy, disfigured, burned, stabbed for pleasure. To make us tighter for when they had their fun with us. The cuts upon our body in places that you can't show without being indecent. Well what does that matter to me anymore... My body was shaped as a toy for them." His voice seemed to trail off as he looked down at the saiyan. His fist clenching slightly as he looked almost dead in the face as it showed no feeling. Which generally sent ice down people as it showed no anger, sadness, nothing just prime killing instinct.
"I'm the lucky one, I've survived everything they've done to me. I should of been dead a long time ago. When they where through with me, they tossed me outside into the cold without my clothes, without my items. I was to start from the bottom again. I'd have to buy another outfit, I'd have to start from nothing again. Collecting all my food once more, I'd have to buy another tent for myself. Or sleep under the night stars like I normally do. Now tell me again that your species is innocent. I'd love for you to say that to my face again. If you do, then I'll have no choice but to act as what I believe would be innocent, as it'd be the progress of karma. As I'd be defending myself from a long time old race. I wouldn't be able to control my emotions, I may kill you. But I won't be held guilty for it. As you'd be trying to reenact the times of when I was in the army. General Oniusk would pay a nice price for my head again. And you'd be listed as one of his hunters." The name Oniusk was held highly in the saiyan army. As he was currently the strongest saiyan on Vegeta, and had a near perfect mission completion. He only failed one mission, and that was when he was ordered to eradicate Emer.
The Kagami's hand stretched out and the finger stopped right in front of Athren's head. As he looked the man over. "And to me, you're nothing but another monkey. One in which I need to kill to bring my races freedom back. I need to do this so that they're free once more. And yet you stand here saying that they're innocent. None of them are, each family owns a kagami for a slave. Each of you do, I bet even you remembered seeing a maid or butler within your house. One in which served you every morning, with the exact same hair as myself. My Name is Emer, and I'm a Kagami... The race enslaved by you saiyans." The voice had changed from being cold. To being that of anger and blood lust. The mans emotions where unstable right now. Even with Irith and Alith trying to control him. They noticed the most they could do was stop him from attacking right on the spot. "Yet... You hold a dog that is more innocent than you could ever be. It holds a new life, one in which you are raising... And how are you going to raise that ones life? Like our own?"

Athren had held Sprocket in his arms tightly yet not enough to cause any discomfort to his small, furry little companion. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt the little guy. That just wouldn't be right. Athren listened carefully to the man. Being sure to catch his tone in every word to try and determine his emotions. Though, he didn't have to try hard as the words being said were easy to read and quite bland. Athren replied to the first words with something quite basic. "Lack of discipline?" Athren arched a brow as his right fist clenched tighter. "He's just an innocent little dog, He doesn't deserve to be abused or yelled at over a mistake that he made. You're the first he's ever bitten, That I've seen anyway. So I'm not going to punish him for a mistake!" With that being said, Athren's tone was somewhat hostile. He didn't appreciate being told how to handle his puppy, though the man DID have a valid point. Regardless, that wasn't important right now.
Athren now watched the man show off some of his scars as he explained the reasons why. SURE. It was more than enough to cause a hate for saiyan's but Athren didn't understand why he needed to punish all of them. Some saiyan's weren't involved in that. Sure, Athren didn't abuse any of Emer's race but he didn't exactly do anything to stop it either. It was just the life he was born into. It wasn't Athren's fault for what happened.
Athren clenched his teeth slightly. Grinding them back and fourth. This situation made him uncomfortable, not because of the threat but simply because of the damage that could be done to Sprocket if something had gone wrong. He couldn't let that happen. He wouldn't. Sprocket was too innocent to be hurt or killed. "You know something? You've got a reason to hate saiyan's and it's a damn good one, but I'd love to tell you that some of us weren't involved in what had happened to your race. I never ONCE abused one of your race and I didn't even have a personal servant." Athren paused for a moment. Taking a second to catch his train of thought. " You know, I might not have been innocent but I've changed a lot since I've landed here and I ensure you that I wish no harm on any creature. Including yours.. but If the time comes I won't hesitate to stop you from harming others."
Athren then picked himself off the ground a few inches with his Ki. He believed it was time to leave before things got too hot. There was a time and place for this and it definitely wasn't now, not here and not with Sprocket. "I think it's time for me to go, but.. I promise you Kagami. When we meet on one of your days you're out looking to spill saiyan blood. I'll meet you head to head. This 'Monkey' will end your saiyan slaughter. I PROMISE you that."
With that being said Athren began to fly higher into the sky. "I'll see you around, Kagami." With that, Athren's orange aura surrounded him as he blasted off into the sky.
THREAD CLOSED.

Alright, finally getting to this! I thoroughly enjoyed this! It was quick, simple, and it's letting two set up the future battle between Emer and Athren. Good usage of backstory to settle in the environment in. Athren, you gain 3944 here. Your body had become more used to the weights, so the gains from the Heavy weights had gone down at this point. Emer, you gain 6194 here. From here on, your Heavy weights'll be only giving half the reward it gave in the past.
