The murky red liquid that populated Hell's quite bluntly named attraction, the Blood Pond, periodically undulated as faint ripples echoed across its surface. The rhythmic lines would spread out in a light wave, the body's "Blood" stirring for a few moments before settling down back to relative stillness... only to repeat the process again but a few moments later. The origin of this repeated interference in the otherwise still surfaced pond? None other than Tomoyo. " ..." His mouth hung agape, wordlessly, as the melancholic child rhythmically ran his wispy white tail back and forth in the "waters" of the pond. Tomo had been going on with this action for a while now: back and forth, back and forth, all with no real meaning or reason to it. Situated at the edge of the pond with only his Spirit form's tail waving in it, the child let out a soft sigh while watching with a bored expression as his ghostly appendage wriggled in a manner that disturbed the otherwise quiet liquids. Balancing his chin on his hand, his arm up on his lap, the hybrid child wistfully stared into his own reflection... quite literally a pale reflection of himself. Staying in Hell all this time and the afterlife as a whole, Tomo had come to quite the realization after many hours of wading and thinking: " I miss legs." His powder pale lips uttered, his breathe briefly stirring the blood as he peered into his own mirrored image. A tail for a bottom half was a pretty weird thing to have; and while Tomoyo did enjoy the ability to float above the ground at first, the novelty of the situation wore thin very quickly. Though the realization did little to quell his rising irritation. Tomoyo missed the feeling of the ground underneath his feet, missed having feet in general! ...but instead he was left with a tail instead of legs. " A stupid, dumb, ugly tail..." With each syllable, his tail swished along the bloody pond's surface, causing more violent waves to ripple out with a matching intensity. " ...being dead sucks." Tulip Waterfield

Beads of sweat dripped onto the earth, as the woman stood silently. All of her focus was ten feet in front of her, where a single, small sword sat. It sparked occasionally, silver lightning running down the edge of the blade. The woman smirked, thrusting one hand forward and grabbing the sword. Testing the balance, the young hybrid spun through an intricate sword dance, ending with the blade’s tip hovering just over the earth. Taking a deep breath, the woman shouted. “Piercing Silver, Activate!” The blade suddenly exploded downwards, more than quintupling in length and width as it tore through the earth at her feet. The woman released her grip on the blade, turning away as the energy began coming undone without her focus. Crossing her arms to muse as she walked away, the woman ignored the explosion that sent dust and wind upwards and outwards that rippled her hair and clothes. I’ve figured out a way to pierce barriers; there’s the flick and now this sword. The question is what to do with people who go too fast for my initial throws and slashes to hit; a phantom sword, possibly? Wait...what is that? Her emerald gaze widened, as she glanced into the horizon and the distance. Somewhere, she’d just felt a power much stronger than it had been in the past. Not as strong as her current self, but much stronger than it’d been before. A soft smile crossed her face, as the woman whispered. “Tomoyo...you sly boy. I bet you found your body before me and got a head-start. Let’s go check on him!” Leaping off the ground, the woman exploded forward, shooting across Hell’s barren landscape without a care.
Hovering in the air above the huge pond, the woman stared at the tiny spirit sitting next to the red body of...blood? HIs expression was as blank and void of hope as when they’d parted ways. She had left him in an attempt to pursue a body, turning to the darker path while he maintained his stance that there was an honest way to obtain a body. Apparently, that path had ended up being even rougher than hers. Well...I already gave the bauble to Emily, and she’s still with Blade. I’m not going to be able to grab that for kiddo. Wonder how his emotional state is. Let’s just descend slowly so as to not scare him. The hybrid released her ki, falling through the air like a rock without wings. Forty feet from where the hybrid child sat next to the Bloody Pond, an explosion rocked the earth. Dirt and wind billowed outwards from the point of impact, dust obscuring the partial crater caused by the impact. Tulip slowly walked out of the cloud, dusting her jacket off. She looked at Tomoyo, in time to catch his last comment.
“Being dead has its perks, though. Fought a demon last week and got hit so hard I puked my entrails out through my mouth. On Earth, that would’ve been round, match, and game. Here, I forced them back in with one hand and kept fighting. Trust me, it hurt like a bitch. But I kept going, which is why I’m the winner and the demon lost. How’s your search for a body going?” Smooth, Tulip. Ask him something he can’t answer without breaking down and you can clearly see the answer to. Well...let’s just see how this works out.

So encapsulated in his own grief and depression, Tomoyo had not even taken notice of the incredibly high power leveled Tulip as she landed next to him, body and all. Shifting his very little weight just a bit in a wind up, the child prepared to strike at the "waters" especially hard this next time, enraged by his reflection. Letting loose his tail to whip at the scarlet liquid that populated the pond, the frustrated half human could only yelp as his concentration was interrupted when an unexpected voice suddenly spoke out from behind him.
Being dead has its perks, though.
"AAAH!" Yelling in fright upon hearing her soft voice suddenly perk up behind his ear, Tomoyo jumped in surprise... or well, he would have had his tail not still been sent foreward to angrily swipe against the bloody pond. The result, completely caught in the previous momentum without any support as his hands left the base of the pond's outer rim, the unfortunate spirit had no say in the matter as his own feeble body weight yanked his form from the pond's edge before sending Tomo spiraling into the liquid. Unable to do anything but scream, Tomo helplessly ripped into the viscious liquid as the burning water stained his white spirit body, despite being cool to the touch mere moments before. "TU-AGHAH~" choking on the blood, the ever present fluid rushed into the fearful child's mouth, filling his body until it felt like it would burst.
"N-No... Help..." Tomoyo feebly cried out in his mind, unable to speak as the blood began seemingly absorbing his spirit into the pond. He couldn't see, he couldn't hear, he could only feel the burning cold of the ambiguous blood as it consumed his entire being. The desolate child sobbed, feeling his body pumped and burned and violated by the liquid until it felt like his pulsating, scarlet stained form would explode...
...and then it did.

Her eyes widened in shock as the boy screamed in shock after hearing her voice. The boy started falling backwards into the pond, which made the woman panick.
That ghost told me there’s an entire world locked away inside that red pool, which no ordinary soul should dare tread in. Fuck, if he falls into that, there’s no guarantee he’ll come back in one piece…or ever again.
Digging her feet into the earth, the woman exploded forward with all the strength she could muster. Her body flew forward, clothes rippling from the force of wind over the fabric. He was falling too fast, the distance too far to make it in a simple sprint. Focusing her ki, she launched herself into the air with more speed. The goal: pass over the boy and grab his flailing arms. Her arms shot forward as she tried to grab the young boy’s grasping hands...but missed by only a few millimeters. She flew past him overhead, watching in shock as the water splashed up around his tiny figure, enveloping him. She came to a halt in the air, staring down at the red lake in shock and fear.
“...kiddo...what…?” Her hand that had missed his trembled slightly, as she tried to process what had just occurred. Her gaze narrowed in rage, as she thrust one arm to the side. Her ki began slowly increasing, as energy in the form of silver lighting began running down her arm. She let out a slow breath, trying to sense the boy in the embrace of the bloody pond...but the murky liquid prevented her mind from reaching within.
“....I lost you a second time. Don’t worry. I’ll make it so another kid doesn’t get extinguished by the same mistake, Tomoyo.” Drawing her arms in front of her chest, energy began building around the woman as she drew her middle finger back as if to flick. Energy began building even greater around Tulip, as the woman began charging her strongest technique, modified to focus all of her energy into one point.

The liquid had settled finally and was completely still as Tulip, despite her best efforts, failed to save the boy from his untimely demise. As the powerful attack charged within her fingertips, primed to strike out against the liquid, there was nothing but complete and total silence for the longest of times.

~Until~

A large spike in energy began forming in the blood pond, the unearthly energy combined within the pool that had already claimed the souls of many before it began swirling, combining within the center as some entity served as a focal point to draw them all in together. One thousand, five thousand, eight thousand; at an alarming pace the energy began climbing higher than the majority of souls doomed to wander the damned levels of H.F.I.L. At the center of the whirlpool that had formed in the blood depths was a ball of blue light, pulsating like a human heart as the blood drawn into it began flowing around the ball. The blood began solidifying into a human shape...
...that of a child.
As the depths steadily calmed, the newly formed and embodied Tomoyo began to gently rise before being deposited safely onto the ground next to the pond; the surging flood of blood draining from around his small form, clothed in a simple green and kaki garb like he had worn in life, before gradually settling back into its proper place. His eyes wide in surprise and confusion, Tomoyo looked down at himself, blinking some of the liquid that still covered his oculars away. "...wha-" the hybrid child croaked, realizing that his voice wasn't simply coming from a murky cloud-body... but a real one.
"I-I'm... Alive?" Tomoyo turned over his hands, admiring the bodily form he had missed for months on end. It had been so long since he could feel the wind on his flesh, the ground underneath his fee- Tomoyo froze... his face contorting into a look of pure joy that prompted the ecstatic child to leap high into the air, almost four times as high as he could have alive. Blasting off from the ground at an alarming pace, the boy let off a guttural screaming cheer of glee, for the first time in months wearing a sincere smile as he screamed for all of Hell to hear.
"I'VE GOT LEGS!!!"

Tulip was preparing to strike the blood, when a sudden, almost unperceivable presence touched on the edge of her conscience. Her gaze shot to the center of the lake, where something was happening. A small presence was rapidly growing in strength, as all of the bloody liquid began spiraling into a blue orb that hovered slightly above the center of the swirling crimson liquid. The woman watched in shock, as the orb broke away and began forming into a humanoid shape. She shifted her target to this new monstrosity, wondering if this was a new creature that had woken from Tomoyo’s death. Until the humanoid took on a shape she recognized. It floated to the side of the pond, depositing itself onto the soil there. The blood coating the figure split away, revealing a gi uniform the woman recognized. As the figure sat up and wiped away the blood, the woman floated down and landed across from the figure. Flicking her arm to the side, she dispersed the ki charging in her arm. “I’m alive?” The kiddo’s voice was rough, but clearly his own. The woman walked over to the kiddo. He began hopping around giddily, leaping dozens of meters into the air. “I’ve got legs!” She noticed his clothes with slight irritation; she’d not been so lucky when she got her body. Something to do with the spirits in the pond? The woman didn’t know, but didn’t let that fact bother her. When Tomoyo prepared to leap again, the woman swept his feet out from under him. Stepping forward to look down on the kiddo, the young woman knelt next to the kid and flicked him gently on the forehead. “Good to see you back and in one piece, kiddo. Next time avoid nearly killing yourself when an old friend greets you.”

He was so happy he could sing! Finally, after all those months of arduous torture: Stumbling about on a wispy tail, weighing less than a feather, feeling like moving on literal ice just trying to go anywhere! ...all of it was finally over! "Legs! Legs! Legs!" With each word, Tomoyo stretched out his arms in a whole-hearted "huragh" as he slowly sank down to the ground. "Legs! Le-OOF-" However, the half human's cheers were quite suddenly interrupted as his newly acquired legs were swept out from underneath his joyous form.
"Legs!" Nevertheless he let out one last and triumphant shout. Falling unceremoniously onto his back, his appendages splayed out, Tomo's round eyes widened in surprise landing on the physical form of his long unseen friend. "T-Tulip!" His squeaky voice echoed, still a bit hoarse from all the shouting and newly formed lungs; but the sound emanating from the child was obviously one of clear happiness. She just looked like when she was alive too! "You... You're normal!"
Good to see you back and in one piece, kiddo. Next time avoid nearly killing yourself when an old friend greets you.
Tomo grinned sheepishly, even a bit embarrassed at the situation he had been merely a few moments ago. Blowing out a tongue at the fellow Saiyan hybrid, the revitalized kid rolled onto his hands and knees before steadily pushing himself back onto his two feet. Grunting a bit, noticing a weird weight around his torso, Tomoyo briefly pulled out his shirt, noticing a strange weighted fabric underneath his pants and gi-top. "Huh..." He muttered. Was he even wearing his weights when he died? "...oh well." Shrugging his shoulders, the newly embodied spirit turned on his shoes' heels to face the woman with a bounce in his step. "Isn't this great, Tuli?!"
The fact that he had a body now was so spectacular. He felt stronger, he felt faster; golly, he even felt like a dreary weight that had worn his heart and will down for months on end was finally lightening! "D-Does... Does this mean I can go home now?" Tomoyo asked, his eyes wide with hope as he bent his neck back to look up at Tulip while he spoke.

Tulip watched as the child righted himself and stuck his tongue out at her. She resisted the urge to bop him over the head in response, while the kid rose to his feet. He began feeling himself over, a puzzled look crossing his face. The woman didn’t push for details, waiting simply for the kid to turn back towards her. He finally did, grinning at Tulip happily. “Isn’t this great, Tuli? D-does...Does this mean I can go home now?” The boy’s hopeful tone made the woman’s gaze fall. She’d been inquiring with denizens of Hell on the fastest way to escape this prison, but it appeared iffy at best. Most ghosts simply used the waxing and waning of celestial events to cross the barrier between realities at its weakest, but that was beyond the young hybrid’s feeble understanding. The woman took a deep breath and thrust one hand out, flicking the kid gently on the forehead.
“Let’s not worry about such small matters, especially not after our first chance to get some training in. You’ve grown far stronger than our last encounter, simply by being existing in Hell. Here’s to seeing if we can improve that by actually sparring.”
Turning away, she immediately dropped her ki to slightly under the kiddo’s current max. It was a bit cheap, shifting the subject like that; but the woman really wanted to see if he’d learned anything since they parted ways. Clenching her hands into trembling fists, the woman turned back towards the kiddo and thrust both of her hands out in front of her in an open guard.

The newly embodied hybrid's hands came up fast to cover his forehead, wincing a bit as Tulip's finger tips sharply rapped against his skin. "Ouchie!" Tomo yelped, staring up at Tulip with a hurt expression. The last thing the kid wanted to start feeling again, after finally regaining the ability to feel, was pain; but then again considering all that Tomoyo had been through, could you blame him?
Let’s not worry about such small matters, especially not after our first chance to get some training in.
His sobering emotes soon brightened back up to a grin when Tulip mentioned training with him. "Training?! I'd love to!" He exclaimed, hopping up and down to emphasize his excitement. Tomo was just as eager to test out this, to him, immense new power, possibly even more than the elder hybrid. For as long as Tomoyo could remember, he had been stuck at a wall in terms of strength; unable to get any stronger to both his anguish... and his mother's annoyance. "..." Shaking his head to get rid of that thought, Tomo tried his best to focus on the matter at hand. There was no point in opening up old wounds like that, right?
Here’s to seeing if we can improve that by actually sparring.
At this, Tomo nodded in agreement to Tulip's statement; not even catching how she had entirely changed the conversation topic from his initial inquiry in his eagerness to train with her. Spreading his legs in a shaky stance he had originally stolen adopted from an old friend named Levlidian, Tomo grinned up at the girl. He knew just how to start off this training session... by showing how he had learned from the last! Hopping into the air, Tomoyo stuck his hand out as a scarlet ki enveloped the appendage; the combined and thin energy spiking out in a single point almost like a frozen flame, using Tomoyo's own "Overdrive Fist" Attack as its basis. Thrusting his arm out into Tulip's guard, the hybrid child announced the name of the attack proudly:

Tulip’s gaze widened in appreciation as the young boy took up an all-too familiar stance, bringing one hand down near his hips and thrusting the other hand forward in a claw. A stance he’d doubtless borrowed from the fiery warrior of the tundra, the man she looked forward to seeing one day. The boy dug his toes into the earth...before launching himself upward in a slow arc. Bringing his forward arm outward and lifting it upwards, a scarlet glow erupted around his forearm and hand. The scarlet glow angled outwards into a blade, as the boy finished his spin with his arm angled downwards. Bringing it downwards towards the woman, the boy shouted in a loud, proud voice. “Bamboo Slicing Strike!” There was an explosion of dust outwards, followed by a cascade of sparks. Tulip’s split-second decision to not use a barrier but attack in response would save her a minor injury. Only admiration glinted in the woman’s eyes as she held the small boy aloft, a silver blade clasped in her grasp to mirror the boy’s red-imbued arm. Swinging her blade in a wide arc to send the boy backwards and away, the woman let the sword disperse into silver ki. “You’ve improved so much! I’m proud, Tomoyo. Hopefully you don’t mind if I let my control slip a little, right?” The woman shot forward, sending a fist into the boy’s guard. Her intent was to put him on the defensive; a few jabs wouldn’t injure the boy, but would make him weary. Forcing him to raise his guard before her next technique would be for the best, all things considered. Letting one hand drop to her side, the woman continued throwing jabs with her other hand, ensuring to maintain constant contact. As her final jab landed, the woman would step forward, bumping into the young boy. Clenching her hand into a fist, silver energy would begin crackling around her hand. Thrusting it past the boy’s guard and against his chest, the woman would make the same pose she had earlier, with one finger drawn back to flick. She would smirk softly and whisper. “Better block this one, kiddo, or it might sting.”

You’ve improved so much! I’m proud, Tomoyo.
Tomoyo grinned proudly when his energy blade struck against something, happy beyond belief at her words. "She's proud of me!" The child gleefully cheered in his head, so caught up in the praise that he failed to notice until then the similar bladed ki weapon in Tulip's grasp, blazing a silvery hue. "...oh." Was all he could utter before being sent sprawling backwards into the air, his arm locked in the girl's sword guard and disabling his ability to react until it was too late.
Managing to flip over backwards as his body neared the ground, Tomoyo was able to right his body onto the ground once more before turning back to his training partner a bit peeved. Tomo eyed the silver blade in Tulip's grasp curiously, watching in interest as it faded back into nothingness after expending it's usefulness. "Huh... I forgot you could do that." He muttered, still a bit flustered... but the deflected half human wouldn't have much longer to contemplate this event before he was once more under the line of fire, now via a close quarters barrage from Tulip's own fists. "H-Hey! I wasn't ready!" frantically throwing up his own guard a little late, Tomo was only barely able to deflect the first few blows from his more tender bits, the harsh jabs still knocking against the sides of his face and one against his shoulder. Grimacing, yet urged on by the pain, the dark skinned hybrid flared his aura around him, his movements just barely able to keep up with Tulip's with some effort.
Watching one of Tulip's hands drop to her side made Tomoyo even more worried, his alert doubling while dodging the somehow still prevalent blows. Growing weary of this, the child threw his leg up in a flash of green fabric, the appendage aiming to at least knock her arm out of the way. Whether or not he succeeded, Tomo would once more get knocked backwards; this time though it was due to Tulip's quite larger body weight impacting his own. Landing on his feet a little wobbly, he spread his arms to his side, waving them a bit wildly trying to steady himself. "Wooaaah~!" His yells reverberated around the silent hell, quickly being cut off short as Tulip's ki charged finger's jammed against his chest between his defenses... this was going to hurt wasn't it?
...but as he waited for the the strike that should have been near instantaneous to land, Tomoyo was surprised to see that it wasn't being fired immediately... though it was still gaining some intimidating amounts of power with the amount of energy Tomo could sense Tulip flooding into the appendage. "T-This is my chance!" Ducking under her arm to drop completely lateral onto the ground, the hybrid Saiyan pressed his hands onto the hard ground to flip his body over entirely in a back flip, aiming to kick both of his legs simultaneously into Tulip's gut to somehow wind her. This had to work... it just had to! If not Tomoyo was in for a great deal of pain. His mind raced while the mili-seconds went by, regret setting in as he just wished he could be anywhere but his current position.
Unbeknownst to the panicking soul, a fluctuation in his ki began responding to his wish; the energy within his newly created body seemingly collecting at the center of his body... before slowly commencing to pull apart.

As Tulip focused on charging the energy in her palm, the boy she was focusing on striking suddenly shifted his body. He stepped back, before shifting his weight forward and falling onto his back. Her eyes widened in appreciation, as the boy braced himself with both of his palms and kicked off the ground, launching himself into a back-flip. If that wasn’t enough, he thrust both of his feet into a kick aimed towards her stomach. Releasing the focusing ki in her palm out of respect, the woman crossed her arms to block the attack, easily taking the strike without flinching. As he landed on his feet and shot forward, the woman narrowed her eyes and began counting mentally in her head. One...two...four….eight...sixteen...thirty-two...sixty-four? Nah, thirty-two is perfect. She thrust both of her hands down and out, as silver ki began crackling outwards. Tiny knives flickered into existence, held aloft merely by the woman’s will. Her gaze fell back on the boy, in time to sense his ki starting to...split? She’d seen this once before, when sparring with Levlidian all those moons ago. A savage grin crossed her visage, as the woman cast aside the knives idea. “Never stop growing, Tomoyo! You’ll be a tasty morsel yet!” Her words carried through the air, as the woman slammed both of her fists together in front of her chest. Slowly bringing them apart, a staff of silver energy coalesced into existence in front of her chest. Spinning it around her body and through the air above her head, the woman spun it to the side and caught it under one arm, holding the tip towards the boy. Slowly licking her lips, the woman whispered under her breath. “Come on, kiddo; we’re just getting started.”

Never stop growing, Tomoyo! You’ll be a tasty morsel yet!
..........what? "T-Tasty... morsel?" Tomo repeated in his mind, unsure whether he should be feeling proud by this statement... or scared. He had no idea what in the world a "morsel" was... but Tulip just called him tasty; As in FOOD YOU EAT kind of tasty. "I-Is she gonna eat me!?" Was that even possible!? Does getting stronger mean that he becomes tastier, thus Tulip's training him to be better food!! It all made sense! (Not really, but he's not exactly in the most rational or stable mindset at the moment.) Well... if Tulip was planning on eating him like some kind of turkey dinner, then he wasn't going to just sit back and let her no matter what kind of power gap there was between them.
Even though Tulip was able to block Tomoyo's quickly thought up retaliation kick, it was still a small victory with her dropping the threatening attack. Kicking off of her arms, the successful hybrid flipped over in the air before landing safely on his feet, albeit a bit shaken up. "...phew..." Tomo sighed, at least glad he had avoided that tight situation. Still, as he recovered, preparing for another go at the elder hybrid, he had a chance to calm down. Maybe he was being paranoid; Tulip was his friend, she wouldn't eat him.... though Noxa was too... and she... "No... No she's not like that." He slapped his cheeks, trying to erase the thought from his mind before turning his attention back to the fight at hand.
A fight now populated with several glowing knives around Tulip.... "Calm down! She's not gonna eat you... t-those are just fighting knives!" The panicking hybrid screamed in his head, trying to calm the rapid acceleration of his beating heart. Though the knives did not stick around, his paranoia setting in did not vanish that easily. Taking rapid, shallow breathes, the worried half human switched his balance from heel to toe, getting ready to launch himself at the girl as she drew another weapon... this one a staff? "I-I guess I can fight like that now...." Tomo breathed nervously, reaching for his back pocket assuredly before throwing his hand foreward with a loud shout. "Magic stick extend!"
...
...
...Only for nothing to be in his hand or pocket after further inspection. "....oh." Was all the child could utter, a bit embarrassed but more so disappointed that his favorite(and only) magic weapon had not returned with his body and clothes. Pouting a bit, the child looked up at Tulip to gauge her reaction to his big flop... only for his eyes to grow wide with panic once more. All he could see from this distance was the older woman was muttering something while staring directly at the small child.... licking her lips.
"AAAAAAH!" Screaming, Tomoyo charged right at the woman, his ki aura flaring around his body in an effort to knock her down. "NO WAY!" his throat quivered in panicked action, the young hybrid soaring through the air in an attempt to throw a punch right at Tulip's face. Simultaneously in the back of his head, Tomo's mind was practically screeching at him to run away, not TOWARDS HER! He needed to get as far away from the cannibal woman as possible... it needed to move back, move away. His ki practically split in half, pounding against the hybrid's back with the split in decision.
Until it actually did split.
Clattering on the ground in a flash of light, another Tomoyo rolled over in surprise a few feet back, wondering how he had gotten on the ground. Rolling his head to look at Tulip, he was surprised to see not only the frightening older hybrid... but himself still in the act of punching her?! "W-....What???" the half human lying on the ground uttered, sitting up in shock while staring at the scene unfolding in front of him. Meanwhile, the still combating Tomoyo was feeling severely weakened, perplexed as for how his energy had suddenly halved. "W-...What???"
Confusion was surely in store.

The young woman’s eyes widened in shock as the kid started screaming and sprinted at her. He suddenly dashed off the ground, throwing a punch towards the woman’s face. She let her ki flare up to its strongest, easily stepping to the side and under the punch. She saw the second boy, seated on the earth looking up in confusion. With a sideways flick, she bashed the clone into the earth across from her. Slowly walking forward, Tulip knelt in front of the boy and held out the silver staff. “Here, kiddo. I’ll let you use this. As for me.” She paused, rising to her feet. Bringing her hand back, a silver blade materialized into existence. Grabbing it and spinning it around twice, the woman smirked and glanced towards the kid. “I’ll be using this sword. So...get up. I won’t let the fight end with you running away in fear.” She would turn away and begin walking back to where she’d begun. A second staff would slam into the earth near the clone, crackling with energy. Turning to face the two Tomoyo’s, the woman would shut her eyes and feel out their auras. Picturing her own burning strength repressed, she ensured she was on the same level as the two. Reopening her eyes, the woman would split the sword into two, grasping one in each hand. A small smile would cross her face, as she spoke again. “Don’t worry; I won’t bite too hard, kiddo.”

"....What?" Both Tomoyos uttered in near unison, taking turns glancing from each other to Tulip in confusion. Why was there another him? Where was Tulip getting all these weapons from? But maybe the most important one, WHY WASN'T SHE DISTURBED BY THIS DEVELOPMENT IN THE SLIGHTEST?! ".....w-wait.... so are you... me?" Tomoyo A stood up, still rubbing his face a little from where Tulip's staff had implanted itself after his punch. He staggered towards the clone, the identical child shakily standing up before pointing at him as well. "....this is weird..." They both uttered in near unison once more.
Here, kiddo. I’ll let you use this. As for me.
Turning his head to look at the older hybrid approaching, Tomoyo initially stepped back in fear and hesitation.... but... there was something about the warmth in Tulip's words, her gaze that assured him just a bit. Cautiously reaching out to take the glowing staff of energy, Tomo's eyes widened with a gleam, scrolling over the weaponized ki. "Woah." Was all he could utter in response, finally lifting his gaze back up to direct his attention at Tulip.
Meanwhile, while the exchange was going on, Tomoyo B was getting a little jealous in a confusing fashion of sorts. Why was she only talking to that him? "I'm me too!" Stamping his foot in frustration, Tomo was about to speak up about it when a similarly built staff cracked the ground next to him. "AH!" Yelping in shock, Tomoyo B jumped back a whole meter.... before letting out a nervous chuckle. "Thanks.. heh..." Wrapping his small palms around the staff's length, the hybrid child emitted a small grunt, pulling up with medial effort before the weapon came loose. Now both of them similarly armed, the two Tomoyos almost naturally began to gravitate next to each other... although this was still confusing, it was almost like they could subconsciously sense that the other meant no immediate harm; well, for now at least.
Nodding at each other with a faint smile, the two Tomos looked back over to Tulip, the woman now wearing an unnerving smile... and her next words only served to break both of the children into a cold sweat.
Don’t worry; I won’t bite too hard, kiddo.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!" The twin hybrids simultaneously shared a mental scream, their previous suspicions not being helped in the slightest by Tulip's extremely poor word choice. Both charging at Tulip wildly, spurred on by their urge to not be consumed, their staffs both swung foreward in an attempt to strike at Tulip accross both her sides. Charging in waves, Tomoyo A and B alternated in their ferocious onslaught. As A bent low to swing his staff at Tulip's legs, B hopped into the air, bringing down his energy weapon onto Tulip's head. Complementing each other's openings, the half Saiyan duo was proving to be quite formidable partners. Then again... who would have guessed that a great perfect fighting partner for Tomoyo would be Tomoyo!?
