The flight to Kami's Lookout was a very quiet one. Any attempted conversation with Chai would just be met with a grunt from the goat. The light was fading with the setting of the sun, but there was no mistaking where the group of fighters were. Through light of the sunset came the rhythmic pounding of the whipping wind- a sound Chai was familiar with. always the salty air was always whipping over his skin, flicking the tiniest grains of dust from the ground below into his semi-closed eyes. Tension quivered in the air as the goat remained silent through the entire trip, eyes closed gently as he reflected on all the events that just happened. Did he make the right choices? Probably not. But it was okay to make mistakes. He made a lot of mistakes, some he had yet to fix. But he was good at fixing things. Glancing to the ground, Chai watched as the trees of the forest below flew by at incredible speeds, their leaves billowing and fleeing the scene when the group passed. Keeping a close eye on Greeve was Guardia, while Chai was having his edgelord emo fit over the past.
As soon as he caught eye of the Kami's Lookout, Chai would jet forwards ahead of the group, being the first to land on the sacred building... It didn't seem that Maeve was here yet. Was she out and about? Chai bit his lip, figuring this wouldn't be something the Kami would be happy to come back to. Guardia wearily glanced up at the still uneasy and agitated Chai, whom sighed and leaned against a wall as the others approached. Chai let out a slow controlled breath and attempted to loosen his body movements. He gave his shoulders a wiggle and lolled his head in a circle, let his stance slacken to a more casual position. It was a decent effort, enough to fool the casual observer, but for the onlooker with a keen eye he was a walking advert for tension. The otherworldly goat's eyes moved with the alertness that comes from heavy stress and his hands remained clenched by subconscious demand. The trees on the sacred lookout quivered every now and then in the breeze as the goat leaned against a pillar of the building, closing his eyes and folding his arms. Teeth were grit before closed lips and his fists were still clenched tight.
Guardia let out a sigh only audible to himself. He had never seen Chai this agitated and on edge in a long time. It was more than likely that the feeling of useless weakness was creeping up on him again. The goat was irritable, much like he was now, when he first took up the position of the leader of the Crimson Strikers- a hefty job and weight on his shoulders. He just wished he could do something to help-- but both warriors were still weaklings in the grand scheme of things, whether they liked it or not. Closing his eyes as the others hopefully arrived on the Lookout, Chai just hoped he'd be left alone after this long, stressful day.

Pieter only trailed behind them, his eyes unmoving from the ghost. He wasn't too sure who this guy was, but a spirit that apparated and was able to maintain part of its cloudy form spelt bad news for Pieter. The fact EGG and Chai encountered them first and had been with them now hadn't been the main issue; those two were simply there and had Pieter nearly snap, had it not been for the hunter thinking about what happened since reviving. They wanted to give this guy mercy, but they had to find out why he was able to appear here from the Kami and how to take care of them. They all flew up high into the clouds, landing on the massive platform. Pieter hadn't left his super saiyan state since being at Satan City! Chai rushed ahead of them, showing that he didn't want to be here. Pieter didn't care if he did or didn't. EGG and Chai were acting foolish about Pieter showing up there to assist them, even though they had it covered. There'd been times where they had it before and no one really should've died, but Pieter witnessed someone dying! It wouldn't happen this time... Maeve's power would be felt drifting into existence as she 'blinked' behind them shortly after they landed on the lookout. She appeared with a smile but as she parted her lips and spoke something was OFF. "Oh Piiieeettteeeerrrr~" She simply said in a sing song tone that seemed to have a dangerous edge to it. She clenched her fist, her power spiking suddenly as she reared one of her arms back. "YOU FORGET THAT THERE IS A BABY HERE!"
She roared as she swung her fist down at full force attempting to punch the back of the larger saiyan's head to floor him with one mighty strike. Regardless of whether or not her hit landed the demoness would blow the steam off her knuckles as she shifted to her usual kind and gentle expression. She nodded her head once before clapping her hands together. "NOW! Thankfully Ember was already awake. If she isn't next time and you decide to come here and start yelling I'll punt you off the lookout and force you to climb back up. Do I make myself clear?" She threatened with that sweet little smile before cutting her gaze back to Chai. "I apologize, but a baby with Ember's power is hard enough to get to sleep when she's calm, when she's fussy it's near impossible." She explained, scratching the back of her neck sheepishly.
"I try to be accommodating, I really do. The baby comes first though." She cleared her throat, righting her stance before she looked over to the goat zoan and his demonic blade. "So, to what do I owe the pleasure of seeing one of my promising students. I realize you may be eager to continue your training, however I am not prepared at this time to ready your trials." She paused however, her glowing etes blinking a few times as she studied Chai's expression. "...I feel though, that this visit holds more importance than the desire to train." She looked between Pieter and Chai as her six arms folded together.
"...What's going on?"

Greeve remained silent as he followed his 'guards' to the lookout. He hadn't expected to be taken to a place like this, the highest point in the entire planet. He took the time to observe his surroundings, as well as read the moods of his guards. The saiyan hadn't dropped his transformation at all since he had been picked up, and was the one taking this the most seriously. The other two, the alien and the goat, seemed less interested in being here, and were more forced to be here by the saiyan. Such as life Greeve figured. The strongest dominated over the weaker. That's why Greeve thought death was the answer. In the Afterlife, those who deserved punishment got it, no matter how strong they were. Though he couldn't help but feel some animosity towards the saiyan. He had been dead in the past, and had chosen to defy the natural order of things and return here, as well as treat death like it was some sort of horror. How blasphemous!
As they arrived at the lookout, Peiter called out to someone, and a strange dragon looking woman came out to scold him. Greeve recognized the power coming off of him. A demon? Strange how they would bring him to one of his own kind. Well, former kind, and even then there were multiple types of demons. After the little comedy show of 'Maeve' punishing Peiter for his intrusion, she asked what the situation was, getting the feeling there was some importance. It was at that point the Greeve spoke up, shrugging.
"Not really that important at all really," he said in an almost bored tone, "Our golden haired friend here decided to drag us all up here to bother you for a trifling little matter that he could have easily handled himself. That's all." He wasn't that far from the truth. After all, why bother bringing in someone to 'send him back to the afterlife' when they could easily just destroy him. This was all just pointless.

[Thread PL: 72,061]
After the events of dealing with the villain back in Satan City, EGG was the first to blast off into the sky in order to reach the look out. Though being the first, the pink and blue alien had to take a detour as he needed to land somewhere as an intense pain rolled throughout his body. Looking down to his separated mid-section, he noticed his torso and bottom section were starting to reattach to themselves, his bio armor shrinking back to normal. His hands back to normal, legs back to normal, body back to normal... The hair that had even sprouted from the crack of his head shrinking down in size, going back into the pink skin from which they sprouted from.
After a minute of having to deal with this huge strain of pain, reverting back to a normal form, he took off to the skies, now being behind even Chai and Pieter as they flew to the lookout once more. Though, it seemed that EGG might have taken a little longer than he had originally thought, as it seemed that everyone except himself was on the lookout. Even the mohawked Kami herself was already there, making her presence known by smashing her fist against Pieter's head, which caused the tennenman to have a bit of a giggle fest watching the saiyan get punished for being loud.
Landing on the tiled flooring of the lookout, EGG overheard the ghost speaking with Kami, speaking about the occasion for which all of them were here for. The villain himself spoke with Kami, saying at how they were all dragged here by Pieter, which was completely true, with heavy points being left out. His clawed feet making obvious clink noises whenever it clicked against the tile, as the pink and blue hero made his way towards Maeve and company.
Keeping his voice to room level, EGG made sure to inform at least briefly, "New guy here make big trouble in Satan City. Sadly, some dead. Mourn for loss.... Me and Chai handle things when Pieter arrived and shouted at us, over and over. We peacefully stop new guy, and was going to turn into BBA. Piet told us bring guy here some reason, even force Chai come with for reason? Don't know. By way, nice see you again Maeve."
Bowing to show manners, just like he had seen in the TV shows that were pretty much etched into his memory, Maeve would be able to see a huge chunk of EGG's cape missing, and how his left arm and his mid-torso was covered in some white substance. Though, she may recognize it, but in a different color, as it was the color of EGG's dried blood.

Pieter saw Maeve come out pretty quickly, a smile on her face as she sung out Pieter's name. The hunter was surprised she was so chipper at the moment, considering the thing they brought was a soul that needed to be returned. As a fist formed in her hand, her tone quickly changed threateningly, Pieter only coming to realize why: He forgot the baby. One moment, Pieter was on his feet, watching Maeve approach him, but the next involved him staring at the blue sky, blood gushing out his nose as his head became pained all over, very briefly! However, he didn't yelp, or shriek. All he could do was struggle to speak up, arm raised with an index finger pointed up barely, "I... deserved that... Understood ma'am."The hunter didn't care about EGG laughing away at Pieter's punishment, before getting to Maeve's question about what was going on. Pieter pointed at Greeve, bluntly explaining, "Escaped soul from Afterlife, yes... How do we take care of it humanely?"( Chai)

Chai let out a huff as the ki signatures of the others that accompanied him approached. The goat's fur spike dup for a moment, only to be quelled when Guardia placed his crossguard on the goat's shoulder as a comforting hand. This would be quick, they would be home soon. Hopefully. Sliding down the wall of the Lookout's central building into a sitting position, Chai would bring his knees closer to his chest, then fold his arms and mount them atop his knees, along with his elongated muzzle. It was awful cold this high up... Chai could see each breath puffing out of his nostrils. Thankfully his thick fur coat kept him warm at altitudes like this. Closing his eyes as the others approached, the goat found his tired eyes closing as he began to drift off into sleep, only to be brought back to reality when Guardia resounded with his telepathy. 'Ohhhhh nooooo....'
The blade echoed with foreboding apprehension. Opening his eyes, Chai would find his pupils shrinking when he caught eye of Maeve, who spoke to Pieter with an eerie, singsong whistle. Raising his head up with fear ridden across his face, Chai would open his mouth to say something, only to let out a quick yelp of surprise when Maeve went to smack upside the head! Chai covered his mouth, closing his eyes with a grimace while Guardia's eye widened while he leaned forward. EGG let out a bawl of laughter, accompanied by Guardia soon after. 'Hahaha! Encore, encore!' The blade remarked somewhat cruelly, flying away from Chai and over to the Kami. Thankfully, the blade could speak as loudly as he pleased, so long as he wasn't connected telepathically to this mystery baby as well. The goat's expression softened again, although tension and unease was still wrought across his face to the careful observer. Closing his eyes again, the goat would bury his muzzle and face between his raised knees, closing his eyes and remaining silent. He had his regrets, he did some things wrong... But by the stars, was he just... so tired now.
Guardia narrowed his single eye as Greeve spoke. After the specter mentioned that Pieter could have handled this by himself, the sword would remark with a side dish of salt, pointing towards Greeve. 'He's right, you know.' The blade chimed. Although there were some puzzle pieces missing still, EGG was quick to fill in the gaps of their story. 'Yeeeeup, that's the 'jist of it.' The old sword spoke with a roll of his eye. 'If I could get tired, I'd be as drained as my partner, I'm sure of it.' Guardia spoke, wearily glancing over to Chai. '...You okay?' He spoke to Chai alone, cutting his connection from the rest of the group. The tall zoan's curled up position didn't change, but he responded with a blunt 'Yes.' telepathically, which was only audible to Guardia. The sword rolled his eye with a brief grunt of affirmation before reconnecting to the rest of the group.
'My plan was to just turn in this fiend to the Blue Banner Army.' The sword began. 'After all, don't ghosts just keep coming back? It's like in all those movies.' He continued, recollecting his time in Hell. 'Specters in Hell come and go like the wind. One moment they're in the mortal world, then they're back in Hell. Then you just rinse and repeat whenever they die. Right?' Guardia concluded, glancing towards Greeve. What would stop him from coming back and repeating his mistakes if they just brushed him back to the Otherworlds? Chai continued to wearily listen in, his baggy eyes slowly beginning to close. Guardia had a good point.
'Or, you know, we could just let him off with a verbal warning this once. I don't know-- whatever gets me home quicker. Nice to see you again as well!~' The old demon commented, landing on the ground and hopping beside his fellow demon. The sword narrowed an eye at Pieter, briefly examining his injuries from Maeve's attack. Letting out a sigh, the sword would send a glance to EGG and the ghost, then the distanced, hunched Chai. The goat's mind was currently an enigma to the sword, but he still had his doubts on if the goat really was okay, despite his insistence that nothing was wrong. Oh, who was he kidding? Something was most certainly wrong!

"It would have been easier if you all just destroyed his body. If I bring him to King Yemma he's just going to be sent to hell anyway." Maeve bluntly retorted as she turned her gaze to the grumpy looking ghost. The Kami looked to the unsettling looking spirit with a soft frown before she stepped toward him and place a clawed hand upon his shoulder. "I've only read up on your kind. Vengeful echoes of lives once lost. It saddens me that you've decided to come back..." She looked to the wounded Saibaman and the sullen Goat. "...Only to use this borrowed time to harm others." She turned her back to him, instead looking to Chai and Egg. "I'm proud of both of you for standing up to the evil. Even if it meant coming to harm. Although there were some lives lost I can tell you both have tempered your spirits to become champions under Pieter's guidance. I feel that as a reward for your good deeds I shall give you the first batch of the holy water." She moved to pick up the grounded Pieter with one of her many arms before giving him a somewhat apologetic nod. "Pieter, please go fetch the water if you would." She urged her impromptu assistant before turning back to face the specter one final time. The demoness' pupils narrowed to reptilian slits as her fiery gaze looked him straight in the eye. "Specter. This is the only kindness I will offer. Leave this place and my planet or face being struck down and sent to oblivion now. You have used your second chance among the mortal realm poorly thus far but I am offering you mercy in exchange that you banish yourself from my home." Maeve made her final judgement with a chilling tone. "If you refuse or I feel your lingering presence on my world..." Maeve continued, summoning her great cleaver into her hand which promptly began to burn with a crimson flame. "I promise you that I will shatter your soul in a way that will make it impossible for you to return." With that, her aura would explode around her coating her body in a vengeful darkness as she began to draw her energy into what appeared to be a furious inferno in her hands. "Go. Now."

Greeve listened quietly as his three captors spoke about him to the six armed demoness in front of him. He couldn't help but roll his eyes at their words. They wanted to send him back to the afterlife, correct? Just kill him. Easy as that. Hell, the demon even said so! This was all just a waste of time. Then the demoness turned her attention to him, supposedly saddened by his return and his decision to harm others. Greeve just tilted his head, confused. Vengeful echo? Him? On the contrary. He was thankful to those that killed him. It allowed him to understand death more closely, and helped affirm his belief that death was the ultimate release for others. This woman, for all her supposed 'wisdom' didn't understand him at all. Then she turned her attention to the others, praising the goat and the alien for turning into 'champions' under Peiter's guidance. The ghost finally spoke up, scoffing under his breath. "Oh yes, fine champions. That's why the saiyan here swooped in, took the reigns completely out of their hands before dragging us all down here, giving them absolutely no opportunity to prove their worth. Teacher of the year indeed." Let's not lie about the situation. The only 'heroic' thing the scrubs did was the alien taking an attack meant for an idiot with no survival skills. And the effort cost him an arm. Then the demoness turned her attention back to him, giving him a death glare that would have scared anyone else who wasn't convinced they were now eternal, and said the one thing Greeve had not expected. She was letting him go. Greeve was almost stunned by it. No killing him, or some sort of ritual to send him back to the afterlife. He was being allowed to leave, with the condition that he leave Earth. All the effort the others had put in to bring it here, and she had nullified it in an instant. It was...the funniest thing Greeve had ever heard. The ghost couldn't help but burst out laughing. Nevermind the fact that she was threatening to cleave him in half if he didn't leave. The fact she decided to let him go was just too much. As his laughter died down, he turned his gaze to the three who brought him here. "Feel like idiots yet?" If they had just killed him there and then, they could have avoided this. Instead, they had effectively made him untouchable. He turned his gaze back to the demon. "Very well, I'll leave. Can't say I wont stay away for good, but there are worlds that need my attention. So why not push them to the front of the line?" He turned and walked over to the edge of the lookout, looking down at the world below. Quite a view. He wondered how it would look once he had cleansed the life from this world? But he could worry about that later. "Oh, and one last thing," he looked back at the demon, "You're a bit wrong about that whole 'harming others' thing. I'm doing those poor souls more good than you lot ever could."And with that, he jumped off of the lookout. ------- Attempting to leave. PL if successful. EGGPieter WolfbaneChaiMaeve Rakshasa

As EGG stood and listened, the situation started actually sink in for EGG as it seemed everyone but him knew what the villain was. In all honesty, the impressionable plant hero didn't really think much of what he was, but as everyone kept on insinuating that he was an escaped soul, spirits and ghost, the little guy's jaw dropped as he exclaimed, "HE IS GHOST!?" The extreme realization gave him a very painful case of mental whiplash, as there was nothing he could really say about this besides that. He knew that aliens existed, as humans, saiyans, majin and many other kinds of people, but he didn't even realize that things that defied the laws of death!? He was shocked to the point where everything seemed like a blur at this point.
When things started to pick back up, EGG couldn't help but utter out in a mumble, "Was I only one who not know?" Questioning the situation at hand, it seemed that he became aware once again to hear Greeve's cocky farewell, to which the Saibaman's fist curled up into a ball as he just wanted this guy to be quiet for once. It was bearable at first, but god was his condescending attitude rather grating, as it feels like he can do and say whatever he wanted. And although the little heroic alien was very okay with the situation, he was still rather surprised at the large amount of mercy that Maeve was gracing this villain with. Though planetary deportation was a good way to go, EGG couldn't feel somewhat bad that they were letting a villain go and continue doing his actions.
He was pulled away from his mental musings when Maeve piped her voice up, commending Chai and EGG for their efforts while commanding Pieter to grab the water as a reward for the two weaker heroes. Eyes widening, he did remember that Maeve did brought up an offer way back when as to how she was going to give her students a kind of water which would temper the souls within them. EGG completely accepted the challenge, but didn't know when it was going to be given to him, but it apparently was going to be now. Smiling from ear to ear, the little guy couldn't help but show his excitement for what would be a test of purity.
"We take your test now? Like now now, right now? I don't know what to say but thank for honor Miss Maeve"

EGG's response to all the talk caused the hunter to just simply lie there, contemplating his personal life. He came to a thought of, "You know... I should really build myself a house... Maybe even start a school for people aspiring to the same ideals I'm working with! Just so that stuff like this won't happen..."Maeve offered him a hand up off the ground, the hunter waving it off and stating aloud, "I'm kinda needing to lie down here a bit more...""More like I'd rather not get up in general at the moment since you literally decked me in the face when there was an emergency with this guy here..!"Greeve then stated something that only caused the hunter to look at him, still lying on the ground, and only telling him, "Pushed the wrong button there, budd."At this point, Pieter actually stood up, wiping the blood from his face and nose, before walking towards the palace. He looked to Chai, Guardia, and EGG, suggesting to them, "Boys, I would suggest you come with me inside. You don't really want to be swept up on what's about to happen."She didn't really tell Pieter where the water was located. Sure, he'd been in the Lookout a few times before, but the hunter didn't really have a good memory of his visits! Mainly, it was fighting, followed by pain and then blackout... And also that one time they all grouped up to plan for defense against the SSE when Zucceta was Queen! ( Chai, back to you! )

Guardia continued to watch Pieter with a smug eye in amusement. The sword left Mavee's side, instead floating over to the half-asleep Chai, looking right into his weary eyes. Nope, he most certainly was NOT okay. No siree. Guardia justs lid beside his sleepy partner, putting one of his crossguards on the goat's back as a comforting hand. Maeve spoke of it being easier to just kill Greeve, causing Guardia's eye to narrow. 'Excuse me. Chai's many things, but a murderer isn't one of them.' The sword spoke, pausing for a moment. '...He might be too nice and hopeful for his own good, yes. But if... if he didn't spare some, certain people who I once believed to be beyond saving...' The blade trailed off, taking a telepathic breath in. 'We wouldn't be here right now. Someone much more malicious have come in our place.'
Guardia didn't blame Chai for leaving his friends behind. If he didn't, their world's Bing would have gotten hold of the universe hopper. He would have laid this peaceful world and many, many more to waste. Chai spared this world a horrible fate, just like he did to each and every one of his enemies and opponents. 'So value this mercy, esper.' Guardia concluded, directing his attention to Greeve with a hostile, narrowed eye. '...I still think there's some light in your darkened soul. Chai does too. I can feel it.'
'...I'm still looking forward to our rematch, ghost that I still don't know the name of.' Guardia claimed, his eye raging with determination, not a shred of fear in his eye. Maeve turned to the now curled up and asleep Chai and EGG, commending the dynamic duo for their bravery. She'd even give the goat man and plant boy the Holy Water. 'Hey! What about me?!' Guardia snapped, before his eye widened in recognition. '...Oh, right. No mouth.' Guardia realized, his eyelid drooping. Still, EGG was just as grateful as the sword was, it seemed.
'Hey. Hey Chai. Wake up.' Guardia continually pestered his partner, shaking Chai's form a little. Maeve meanwhile threatened Greeve, telling him to get off her Lookout and planet, long story short... The specter erupted in laughter, causing Guardia to quickly try and shush him. 'SSSHHHH! Nobody wakes Chai but me!' The sword rung in a sharp, harsh whisper.
The still grounded Pieter finally stood up, earning a quick chuckle from Guardia. The Super Saiyan suggested to come inside, in order to not be swept up in... something. 'Eh? You ain't my mom. So shut up. I go in if I want, not because you told me to. Pah!' Guardia snapped, narrowing his single eye. But... the sword couldn't help but to feel a sense of dread after Pieter's proclamation. Continuing to try to shake his partner awake, Guardia would wearily glance to Maeve... Just what was she going to do?

As the other's spoke, Maeve remained silent. She kept her gaze locked on the specter as he casually made his exit. She listened to every word he made with a straight face. The promise of his return, the justifcation of his violence, the denial of her student's ability, all of it was enough to fill her with a potent mixture of sadness and rage. As he attempted to leave with his final laugh Maeve would speak. "You misunderstand."
An explosion of inky blackness would rip around her with a thunderous roar that shook the lookout around her. The Vengeful Goddess would hold her blade up, pointing it at the ghost's back before closing the distance between them in a blitz of darkness. In a near instant, she would appear before the ghost, coated in an aura of dark ki. "My mercy is not derived from weakness or a tenderness for all life. It comes from understanding." She calmly spoke despite the violent snarl plastered on her face. She lifted the burning blade above her head and let the fires of her spirit turn black as she let her darkness outweigh her light. "In this world, dark and light exist in an eternal balance. I understand that a darkness such as yours will only keep appearing like a blight." She snapped, her voice becoming more and more furious as she lowered into her stance. "So for the sake of my planet I decided to banish you rather than subject the world to such disease." She said coldly as she took a single step toward the ghost."Yet you don't seem to understand what 'banishment' means. If you come back, I will subject you to a darkness you can't even fathom!" With that, she'd launch into her attack as a 'taste' of this 'darkness.' In an instant, her fiery blade would lash out towards the ghost like a flash of black lightning. Unless she was stopped or countered: the burning blade would arc first to his right arm and upon impact it would feel as if her blade chopped it numerous times in succession. She would follow it up with another lash to his opposite arm with the same results continuing the blinding combination till each and every one of his limbs were struck. It was as if she were trying to hit him with the full brunt of her power without actually killing him sentencing him to a temporary hell of fire and steel. After the conclusion of the attack, Maeve would sheathe her blade and turn away from him, as if she were disgusted by his very presence. "Slither away, before I rescind my kindness and keep you here in a perpetual state of near death."
She merely spoke, her aura fading and her demeanor returning to normal as she rebalanced her ki.

Before Greeve could make his exit, the demonic woman suddenly appeared in front of him, snarling and radiating a darkness standard to his kind. She spoke of 'balance', calling him a blight and that her reason for not killing him came from 'understanding'. Greeve's smirk faded to an annoyed frown. What the hell did this woman, who along with others like her spat in the face of death, know of balance? And then she attacked, striking out with her blade. The fire raged over him, striking all four of his limbs, the power completely obliterating them. When she was finished, all that was left of Greeve was a smoking, limbless husk, the stubs where his arms and legs used to be charred black. But there was something wrong with this sight. There was no cry of pain, no screams of agony, no pleads for mercy. Through the smoke, unearthly white eyes glared at the demon in front of him. "It is you who misunderstands..."The smoke cleared, revealing what remained of Greeve. Yet there was no sign of pain on the demon's face. No fear, not even anger. Merely frustration, and it wasn't because of his missing limbs. "Life is a disease. It brings nothing but pain, misery and sin. It brings illness and misery. It taunts you with the prospect of joy, only to snatch it away. And despite your words, there is no 'balance' to it. The good suffer, the wicked are allowed to walk free, monsters like you are put in power to dominate the weak."His frustrated glare then turned into a smirk, as darkness began to ripple around him. "That is why death is the ultimate reward. In the afterlife, the good are given their deserved reward of paradise. The wicked get their just punishment in hell. Surely you see why its superior to this farce you call life." His eyes narrowed as energy began to crackle around him, "But you, people like you spit in the face of death. Using those abominations called dragon balls to snatch people from their paradise, to bring monsters back to walk free. People like you are an affront to the natural orders of things. Is it because of fear? Terror of what awaits you once your life ends? Or is it because it gives you a false sense of superiority?"The energy picked up in intensity, almost consuming him as his smirk widened. "Know this blasphemous monsters, death gets you all eventually."And with those last words, Greeve erupted. Darkness spilled out in all directions, a soul wrenching sound that sounded like the wail of lost souls filled the air, the force of the blast felt by everyone present. It wasn't enough to harm anyone present, though it might have caused a little damage to the lookout. And as soon as it began, the wave of darkness dissipated, leaving no trace of the ghost. ----- Thread temporarily made DE. used Ghost racial self destruct. Greeve is dead...again. PL please. EGG

Although EGG had heard the words of Pieter warning him to come back into the Lookout, the little creature decided to linger a bit to see what was going to happen, to watch the fruits of Maeve's act of banishment. To be fair, the little guy was a bit worried with the way that the Dragoness had spoken about completely destroying him in a sense if he ever returned. But because the phantom had to open its yapper another time, it had caused Maeve to completely focus in on the ghost, not even acknowledging EGG's grateful message, as something more harsh had encompassed her mind.
And finally she had thoroughly explained herself, talking about a balance of sorts between the good and the bad, the light and the dark. She had shown her utter disdain upon as Greeve pointed out that he would return in the future to wreak his own havoc, which might have caused Maeve to move her punishments against the ghost to a more current date. That date being now, as she unleashed the energy she had been building up, quite literally attacking each of the specter's limbs.
EGG's mouth went agape as he could only watch in horror as such monumental energy was unleashed to attack Greeve, Maeve intentionally making sure to not try and eradicate the spirit entirely. The woman wanted to get her message through to the spectral being, but didn't want to effectively decimate him. And despite all of this, Greeve took the time to continue on his dark spiel, claiming the hypocrisies of this world counteracting what he claimed to be true justice in the Afterlife. Further and further the villainous ghost continued on, droning about his ideals and imposing it on them. And to be fair, EGG can understand it quite a lot, as evil and strong people are around... But it didn't mean that the little guy had agreed.
And just as the specter reached the end of his preachy spiel, EGG felt an odd familiarity between himself and Greeve. Not in personality or thought processes, but in the same way his energy was starting to swell up. Far beyond what he can normally output, and with an unstable feeling. A dire sense of unease started to fill the little hero as he started to try and recognize why that felt familiar. Then it struck him, just seconds before Greeve was about to detonate.
"GET DOWN!"
EGG commanded, unknowing of how much damage was about to be caused, but needed to take action no matter what. Leaping before Maeve, EGG lifted up his arms and created in front of him his very own Diamond Egg Barrier. The golden energy encapsulated around Greeve's body just moments before he completely exploded. Due to the caped Hero's actions, the explosion was completely contained with an almost completely soundproof bubble, as only a very faint sound of the explosion reaching the ears of EGG and Maeve.
And from within, EGG could already sense the presence that was once Greeve had completely vanished. Yet another person who chose death over a second chance, as flashes of Cheese the Saibaman flashed before his eyes, him exploding right in front of another person and the pink hero being there to contain the blast. His heart was wrenched with extreme guilt as he couldn't do anything to prevent any of this, EGG opening his mouth to say something in order to lessen the blow of his choice in suicide, but nothing came out. He had nothing to say, despite him having gone through this a second time.
Second time someone of evil nature becoming unwilling to change their previous ways, both going the route of taking themselves out in a last ditch effort.
Becoming silent, EGG turned around on his heels and started heading towards the building the Saiyaindian tried to direct him towards earlier... but with a much heavier heart this time around.
