So, gonna give... One week for people to vote! Do you want these respective items to stack without diminishing results to pl or do you want them to diminish over time? If you vote for diminishing, when should they show dwindling results? This will be the subject of chatter once this is voted for! ***QUICK NOTE*** If you wish to know where this vote came from, it came from this thread: wodsouls.freeforums.net/thread/1132/attention-community-information

I want people to think very very VERY carefully on this whole notion... discuss and vote with your head to consider what repercussions will follow, do the math yourself (for those who perhaps aren't aware, look at this as a case study if you will wodsouls.freeforums.net/post/4719/thread ... that was only a one and a half page thread.) Once done, we can't simply 'undo' what follows from this change. I speak very seriously when I say everything I know about this game and it's design indicated this is going to cause a major power divide - I cannot see an end case where either of these options goes well for 95% of the players here, especially given the sentiment people have already been raising about power level disparity concerns. The values assigned for these items, for the combat system, for the transformation system and for grading in general were NOT designed to stack... this is a very dangerous thing to tamper with as we are literally touching on the single most core mechanic of this game... (I've logged in specifically tonight to try and get a plea in on this before it continues even further without comment, since I didn't get to properly address it during the preceding thread and seems to be moving quickly. This is a critically serious discussion).

I feel the same and was hoping it would not stack. But if it did I wanted to make sure it gave diminished returns so eventually they wouldn't give you anything once you hit a certain level. This could change the site hard core for a long time.
I wanted to have these not stack, and eventually start to give diminishing returns(weights and gravity chamber boosts going down as you get used to them for a period of time). You'd get a large chunk out of it this way but eventually you'd even out and slow down and would have to go through special means like kami king kai or hyperbolic to get any kind of large boost again allowing others time to catch back up.
I'd love to try and push another vote on these stacking though. I seriously urge people to think about what they are doing here.

I don't like this vote at all. In fact, I think it's sort of a fluke if there's only two choices and that Bao says that the items weren't meant to stack for player gains. I'm glad we're doing a potential vote to diminish the power of weights, but two choices for a vote this important makes me not want to vote for it. There should be a dissenting option for those who want to vote on it one that's worded along the lines of what Bao said or something else. Instead, this feels like one "Yea" option, and an "Abstain" option.
I won't vote on this at all.

Honestly I think that the weights need to dimish over time and it is a little ridiculous that they all stack. I will use my last thread where combined with the home and everything else someone made out with double the power level gain of the next person. I am sorry to say but all weights should lose effective ness at 50k flat rate just done. After that only Gravity should work as a multiplier to pl gains. The houses should only help with recuperation for a person and not give power level gains of any sort. Otherwise everyone is going to buy the largest house with highest grav chamber and never leave them. It will create a cycle of people not exploring the world other than to flex their power at others..

Gonna be honest there should be a no option if people want a reason as to why, go look at what I was able to do in a topic with just the hiusevandvheavy weights the gravity chamber wasn't added in,that still netted me a 26262 gain, which honestly if everyone did so it would break the boards. Now as for my opinion on houses, their boost is fine, but I feel as if it should only apply to rcovery threads as you get a negativ gain with the injuries. And if you're injured you shouldntvwear weights as Nai showed that even without a house we easily broke 15k in one topic.

Personally, I think they should be able to stay to a degree. For example, Emer got a 206% pl boost in his last thread. I think it honestly shouldn't be allowed to go over a 100% PL/Zeni boost despite how many modifiers you have or something. We could work something out between staff since the public doesn't know the grading scale.

ONCE AGAIN! I had a thread up with a poll for YOU guys to go vote that had yes or no and only 12 people voted and they voted yes. I am however up for a full re-vote.
Also honestly I feel weights should lose their boost after a set amount for each type, not a flat amount. That the gravity chamber should as well once a player has reached max and trained under it for a period of time and has become used to it.
If you guys feel the house should not have a pl boost then feel free to most a poll for it once this one is taken care of. However I'd consider what else to give it to justify its cost.
