Death was not all the Saiyajin Warrior of old had figured it would be. No, it was something much, much different than what he expected right before Mayze had pierced his heart with that beam of ki, killing him instantly. Anyone would be particularly shocked over how things went in this other realm. You were judged by an all knowing, all powerful Oni, who would either send you to paradise or into the pits of Hell. From there, your spirit either wandered aimlessly or continued to thrive. Even in the afterlife, LIFE found a way. One could reclaim their body, grow incredibly strong, all while not putting oneself at risk in any way that one would while alive. Death was definitely more of an opportunity to grow, rather than the end.
Kizuki enjoyed death, but it was time to leave. He had things to attend to and promises to keep, mostly to himself. Food to eat.
His battles against his comrades, Xylo and Alaistair, as well as Zerori and Plato had helped shape him into what he was now. His final confrontation against the young Hybrid, Tulip, solidified the notion in Kizuki’s head that it was time to leave. He was fully capable of controlling his Super Saiyajin power. No longer did he need to rely solely on intense rage to trigger the form to come, and in the process it wasn’t an erratic show of violence. He was completely in sync, and he knew that this realm had nothing else to offer him to push him forward. It had been nearly a year, a long one at that. With the possibility of being able to revive, the Super Saiyajin Warrior would do what he could to follow his brethren out. He had sensed Xylo’s and Alaistair’s ki vanish from the close proximity, which could only mean that the duo officially left. Kizuki gave himself some more time to train and ready himself, though. Eventually, he’d come to a familiar place to say goodbye to someone, and hopefully gain some insight in the process.
The Saiyajin had seen better days, looking more like a hobo than anything else. After his fight with Plato, his dogi had all but been destroyed, leaving him in only a pair of grey, baggy training pants and blue boots. His body was filthy, covered in some bruises, scars, and dried blood. All of which would go away in due time. That long, brown tail swayed gently behind him, eventually seeking out who he was looking for, Kyuke the Demon. “Oss’.” (“Yo.”) Kizuki called out, not particularly too loud, offering a one handed salute in the air with his right.
Kizuki would find Kyuke at his post, the little child-like demon who had offered Kizuki that Meditation Training Chamber for use, to which Kizuki destroyed accidentally. Accidents DO happen, after all. When the little demon saw him, he’d let out a screech, gulping in fear as he backed up against the tent, holding his arms out to try to keep Kizuki out. It was quite comical to see. “Oh-Oh no you don’t! Y-You’re not allowed in here! Not after what you did last time, truly NO, YOU ARE NOT!” The little creature would do his best to frown and look mean in spite of the fact Kizuki trumped him in power in almost every single way. The Saiyajin couldn’t help but smirk, showing some sense of playful emotion towards the little Demon. Powerful arms crossed over his bare chest, as he arched a single brow. “I’m not here to use your chambers or any of that. I came because I need some information, and I think you’ll be able to help me.” His smirk faded some, offering a more serious expression and tone. “Also, I… wanted to offer an apology for what happened in there. I’m sure you had some explaining to do to… whoever. I appreciate you not making a huge fuss about it.” Not like the Demon really could, given the gargantuan difference in power. Perhaps he did, and Kizuki simply paid him no mind at the time. That scenario was also completely plausible, given the Saiyajin’s extreme lack of attention to things he didn’t particularly care about.
Kyuke’s beady, little yes would blink a few times before his arms lowered. He’s slowly point to himself. “Ap-Apologize? To me?” Well, this was certainly something he didn’t expect to come from the Saiyajin, if he had ever thought he’d see him again. The day was just full of surprises! Kyuke would offer a small grin, baring fanged teeth before waving his hand at Kizuki, as if there was no problem at all. “Ah, don’t worry about all that, yea? I took care of it. I’m the head honcho in charge of this place, anyway!” An incredibly large lie told by such a diminutive looking being, though Kizuki wouldn’t question it. The Demon scratch the side of his large head, much larger than one would expect for a body that size, before continuing. “So, apology is out of the way, truly, yes it is. What did you wanna’ ask me about , Kizuki-san?” The Saiyajin would nod in response, looking around for something to sit on instead of standing there. Reaching for a wooden bucket, he’d flip it over so the bottom would become a decent seat for him. Lowering himself down, he’d plop onto it, hands on his knees as he let out a deep sigh. It sounded unlike him, filled with stress and even some sort of fatigue, though it was hard to get fatigued in the after life.
“Eh, it’s hard to explain but… I guess I’m looking for a way out of here.” Kizuki wasn’t particularly one that lacked details on things, but he had a hard time asking for help in any fashion. “I know there’s a way to leave the after life and go back to the living world once you’ve gotten your body back. One of my comrades mentioned as much.” He didn’t quite remember, but figured that sort of information could only come from Alaistair. “My comrades, well, they’ve all seemed to have left Hell already, just recently, as a matter of fact. I felt their energies leave, as if they were masking them completely.” Kizuki paused a bit, as if trying to figure it out himself. “I didn’t bother answering them when they contacted me. It’s all a bit fuzzy. I was either still in the Meditation Chamber or had just left. Either way, I wanted to continue training. Now, I think I’m done… and it’s time for me to tie up loose ends back in the living world.” The Saiyajin would look up, as if the mention of the living world meant that it was directly above him.
Kyuke, however, was still head over heels with the idea of Kizuki apologizing to him, so he didn’t bother to answer the Saiyajin right away. “Oi!” The gruff tone of Kizuki’s voice would shake the little Demon from his daydreaming, shaking his head rapidly before blinking and focusing on the Saiyajin once more. “Ah’, sorry about that. Hm. So you wanna’ leave Hell, huh?” The Demon would rub his chin, as if deep in thought. In reality he knew the answer, but would milk this, even lowering his head and closing his eyes to “concentrate.” Kizuki would simply watch Kyuke, blinking a few times himself and tilting his head in confusion. “O-Oi… Did you fall aslee--…” Kyuke’s head would pop up, snapping his fingers with a bright smile on his face. “I GOT IT. TRULY, YES, I DO!” Kizuki’s eyes would go wide, nearly falling off his seat from the surprise proclamation Kyuke made. Straightening himself out, the Saiyajin would glare over at the short Demon, narrowing his eyes. “You little…” he’d grumble, before Kyuke stood up straight, patting himself off as if he just physically uncovered something in the dirt, and rose a tiny finger before beginning his speech. “Ahem! Kizuki-san, I think we will be able to send you directly back to the world of the living simply by using the energy highways your comrades used for their exit!” The Saiyajin would blink, not really understanding. “Energy… highways?”
“Shh, shh.. now let me explain.” The little Demon would continue, Kizuki would prop his elbow on his thigh, chin on his open palm with a disgruntled look on his face. “Don’t push your luck, small fry.” Small beads of sweat would form on Kyuke’s brow, laughing nervously and wiping them down before continuing. “Heheh, right. Anywho, they aren’t REAL highways, per say… but to make an extremely long and complicated story short, when enough energy is used to open up a rift between this world and the living, those… pockets of energy, let’s call them, take a VERY long time to completely break down and seal up. With someone of your power, you’ll be able to open them back up in no time flat! Then you and your buddies will be off, havin’ a good time. Truly yes, you will! …Huh?” Kyuke would now notice that the Saiyajin appeared to be sleeping, snoring silently in the same posture he was in before he started his story. Balling his hands into little fists, he’s voice was explode like a megaphone right at the Saiyajin. “WOULD YOU AT LEAST STAY AWAKE IF YOU’RE GONNA’ ASK ME TO HELP YOU?!” Kizuki’s eyes bolted wide open, sitting up straight and wiping some spit that forming on his chin. “Eh? Oh, uh… right. Energy highways.” He’d smile a little, rubbing the back of his head with a nervous laugh of his own. “Sorry, all that talk was boring me so I fell asleep.” Kyuke would “Hmph” in response, crossing his little arms over his chest. Kizuki would stand, nodding as if he knew what to do. “But, I think I understand. Just… use all of my power to re-open whatever holes they used to get out of here. Shouldn’t be too hard, last time I checked I was stronger than Alaistair and on par with Xylo.”
The Demon’s eyes nearly bulged out of his head. “D-Did you say … Xylo?! XYLO, SON OF TUNER?! THE NAMEKIAN WHO WAS TRAINING UNDER PRINCE BEEZLEBUB?!” Kizuki looked a bit confused and just shrugged. "Yea, I guess he’s all of those things. Don’t forget his stupid head fin and weird antenna things.” Kyuke looked a bit worried, he didn’t realize Kizuki’s circle of friends was so… dangerous! BUT, he was a Saiyajin, after all. It was to be expected. The Saiyajin would let out a yawn, stretching his muscles by extending his arms out so. “Meh. I’ve been feeling so sluggish lately.” Kyuke would peer closely at the Saiyajin, nodding. “It’s because your body is becoming fully alive. Truly, yes it is. Your entire body and soul has had enough time to re-align. Now, you’re feeling things like sleep and hunger, things you totally forgot about for months, most likely!” He looked a bit concerned now, as if he were speaking to a good friend. “Which means you should probably look to leave here sooner than later, Kizuki-san.”
“Ah. Guess you’re right.” At some point, the halo over his head had vanished as well, though Kizuki didn’t even know he had one. He’d begin to turn his back on the Demon. “Anything else you can tell me? Any more advice?” Kyuke would shrug, tapping his chin again for effect. “Hm. Well, if you can concentrate hard enough, you can maybe feel their ki signatures from here? The “holes” they’ve left may still be linked to them, so any sudden bursts of energy might make it easier to find that highway.” Kizuki would nod, offering his final saluting wave. “Yosh’. Thanks for everything, Kyuke. Hopefully, I’ll never see ya’ again.” As weird as it sounded, Kizuki meant no ill will with what he said. If Hell was the only place he would be able to see the little Demon then he would rather never see him again. He was done with his place, done with it forever. Turning his back fully to Kyuke, the little Demon would wave both arms at Kizuki frantically, shouting his goodbyes as the Saiyajin hovered a bit off the air and exploded off in a brilliant burst of blue energy, leaving a blue vapor trail in his wake. “JA NE, KIZUKI-SAN! I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT LIFE! TRULY! YES! I! DOOO!”
After some moments of flying, Kizuki would halt himself mid-air. His energy dispersing around him instantly as he hovered. “I should probably try and feel out these… energy pockets, or whatever he was saying. Might make things easier.” With his eyelids closed, the Saiyajin would be in complete darkness, focusing his mind on only feeling out the trails of a familiar ki signature or two. His brows would twitch some, his consciousness searching in every direction possible until finally he found what he was looking for in the darkness. He could see them, and only them, one faint tear left by what felt like Alaistair, the other by Xylo. His eyes would burst open, able to tail the signatures now with more ease. “There you are, boys. I’ll see you soon.” With a smirk, the Saiyajin’s energy would burst around his form again, rocketing off towards the closest one he could get to.
Though the actual energy couldn’t be physically seen, once Kizuki approached the area with the strongest signature he stopped, finding that spot to be the best in order to try and make his escape. “Well, here goes nothing.” He’d bend his arms at the elbow, tensing his muscles and focusing on his power. Within an instant, a vibrant, golden flame surrounded him from the ground up. His energy exploding from around him, in full display and pushing off any rocks or debris that rested on the ground around him. His hair and eyes would change to that classic golden yellow and emerald green color respectively, fully transformed into his full power state, a Super Saiyajin. His ki would flare out, reacting to the spots where the last rift between realms was open, it felt as if a magnet was pulling on the Super Saiyajin now as he glared at the spot. “Hnnnnnnnnnnn….!!!” Kizuki would begin to call upon all the power he could muster, his aura growing larger and flaring out more violently. The very “tip” of it began to once again get seemingly pulled into a single spot, as if it were feeding on Kizuki’s own energy in order to open up once more. The more energy Kizuki pushed out, the more the rift sucked up. It was becoming strenuous, to the point that Kizuki felt like he was actually LOSING his energy, like it was getting ripped out of him. “D-Damn it… that little jerk… didn’t say it’d… be this… tough!”
Veins would begin to pop up all around his chest, arms, and neck. Even his head bore one, the vessel throbbing as the Super Saiyajin began to work himself into a serious sweat. The worse of it was that the rift didn’t appear to open at all. Relaxing a bit, not pushing any more energy out of him, Kizuki would look up at the top that had the strongest ki signature, shaking his head. “Looks like I’m going to push to my limit, huh? Damn it.” Perhaps this whole thing would’ve been easier if he had Alaistair and Xylo’s energies to help him? His selfishness may be his undoing, however his own pride wouldn’t let him just quit. He was a Super Saiyajin, after all. Capable of anything and everything. Right? “Yosh! Here goes!”
He’d keep his body into a semi-squatted position, clenching his fists, tightening every muscle in his body as he called upon that tremendous ki once more. His voice roared out, echoing within the area as that golden aura once again burst around his form. He had to push more, he needed to go to his absolute limit. His eyes would bolt open, as his scream got louder and that aura doubled in size. His ki began to react with those “energy pockets” left by Xylo and Alaistair, sparking against them like bolts of lightning. Eventually, a visible tear in the realm would begin to make itself known in the air, growing larger and larger by the second. Kizuki would look up as he continued to pour all of his energy out of himself. This was it. It was finally time to get to the land of the living.
The swirling portal above him crackled with a mixture of his energy and the energy left over by whoever had used it previously to escape Hell. Kizuki would hover a bit above the ground before another aura of golden energy surged around him. As he was about to burst off he heard Alaistair’s voice invade his mind again. A flinch followed, as every time the damn Devil did that it somewhat rung his brain. He forgot about this little gift of his and the ability to go across planes the way he did. It seemed Alaistair was going to Konats, Xylo had successfully taken over Namek but things had gone wrong, at least from the perspective of Xylo working under Alaistair. It seemed Mayze had also been slain. Kizuki would look behind him, as if looking for the Saiyajin Warrior. Should he stay and seek him out? He wanted to fight with the warrior again. No, it was time for this warrior to return. He would fight Mayze again, eventually.
Looking back up at the portal that had opened, Kizuki would push himself off, bursting through it. In a violent manner the energy slammed and swirled against the Super Saiyajin. The immense pressure around him made it feel like he was going to suffocate, or get outright crushed under the weight of all the power around him. He closed his eyes, gnashed his teeth together and pushed through, however. He let out a mighty roar, and before long all was black.
One couldn’t be so sure how long Kizuki had been back for, Kizuki wasn’t sure either. When he had come to he was laying in some forested area of Namek, sprawled out on the ground with a ringing headache. Coming to a seated position, the Saiyajin would flinch, grabbing his head with his hands as he could feel his brain wanting to explode from within his skull. “D-Damnit.” A low growl of sorts left his throat, and as he opened his eyes he could see he had made it out. Standing on spaghetti legs, Kizuki would force himself to walk forward, unable to muster up enough energy to even fly. His stomach was doing flips and he felt like he was going to wretch, everything about him felt terrible. “I was better off dead, it seems.” Perhaps this was the byproduct of pushing himself so hard in the afterlife. His physical body was now paying for everything, including that turbulent ride back into the living world.
Eventually, the Saiyajin would see a massive structure in the distance, a castle. He’d grunt, shaking his head some. “I always figured you were a bit over the top, Xylo, but that castle is too much even for you.” Had this great power gone to Xylo’s head? Taking a deep breath, the elder would levitate off the ground and begin his slow aerial trip towards that large structure. Waiting for him there were two Mazoku Namekian guards, and as he landed they would stop Kizuki in his tracks. “Halt, Saiyajin filth! What business have you here? This planet is now under control of Lord Xylo, the SSE—“ Kizuki would pushed past both of them, grunting as he did so. “I’m not with the SSE. I’m Kizuki, a comrade of your Lord.” Both of them looked at each other, a bit shocked. It seemed that they were told about Kizuki and perhaps that he would revive here at some point. “Where is he?” Kizuki would turn to face them now. “Where is your Lord?” The other Namekian spoke up, stuttering a bit. “L-Lord Xylo has left in an effort to expand his Empire. He has gone towards the Raiti-Zacro Asteroid first and then..” Kizuki had no idea where that was, nor did he care. “Fine. I’ll need a ship and new clothes. Have the ship’s coordinates set for Konats. I have unfinished business to attend to there.” He turned to leave, stopping in his tracks. “And something to eat. I’m starving.” Eventually, the Saiyajin would get his wish. Not just food, but he gained some new clothes and a ship as he requested.
The dogi was more inspired by Namekian culture than his own, it seemed. Baggy red training pants was on his lower half, while the top was long, down to about his calves in the back and did not seem to be made to be worn closed. Either that or he was too big to be wearing it. Some leftover SSE gear would complete the outfit, white and black boots and gloves, as well as a blood-red colored body suit to wear under that dogi top. The ensamble came together with a blue obi tied around his waist. He was within the ship, the coordinates set as some form of roasted meat was clasped in his hand, chowing down greedily on it. As the ship blasted off towards Konats, he would throw another bone behind him in the pile that had formed.
He was hungry.
Kizuki has revived, spending 2,500 Shoki to do so with the other 3,011 converted over to PL.
Will be taking PL for this Solo, with AL Bonus if possible since it's a revival thread and x50 Gravity.
Also, using this as a travel thread.
