Satan City. Named supposedly after a famed hero who had saved Earth from disaster in the past. The kind of 'hero' that Greeve hated. After all, if this hero didn't get in the way, the people of this world would be enjoying the fruits of the afterlife, and countless others wouldn't have been to suffer this curse they call life. Granted, it meant he also wouldn't have existed, but that didn't matter. After all, his task would have been fulfilled back then.
In the center of the city, people were stopping and looking at the centerpiece of the city, the golden statue of the famed hero the city was named after. Or more specifically, they were looking at the individual sitting atop the golden statue's head.
"Hey man! Get down from there!"
"Yeah! Show some respect!"
"That's not a bench pal!"
Greeve ignored the people below, focusing on the statue he sat upon. The figure seemed to ooze arrogance and confidence. Greeve just wanted to wipe that arrogent smile off of his rough face. And now, more than ever, he felt like he could do it. He didn't know why, but recently he had been feeling...stronger. Some sort of cosmic energy running through his ghostly form. He couldn't understand it, but if the heavens conspired to make him stronger, so be it.
Slowly, he stood up atop the statue's head, still paying no mind to the people below. Slowly, he brought up a leg, before suddenly stomping down onto the head, forming a dent in the golden metal. At first, that seemed to be all that it did, before a crack began to run down the very center of the statue. The metal memorial groaned and screeched as the statue split in two, the two halves falling and crashing to the ground. A couple of people, who had gotten too close, were crushed by the falling halves.
The people stood there, shocked and stared at the fallen statue, then at the floating figure who was slowly descending to the ground. Touching down, numerous people backed away from him as a small smirk appeared on his face. "So much for the great hero," he said calmly, a dark aura beginning to form around him, "But enough about the dead. Time to tend to the living."

<< Previous ThreadWHERE'S YOUR HERO NOW?
Satan City was a vast, intricate, labyrinth of noisy, streets and alleys. One could hear the incessant honking of the vehicles even before the sun rose. Impatient businessmen who had to get to the office, mothers who had to leave their children at their schools, facing the puzzling challenge of navigating through the crowd of parents and children; even some of the teachers who had stopped at the local bakery to get a bagel or two before their morning classes. After every person had reached their respective destination, the traffic congestions cleared significantly as if humongous snakes had eaten their fills and were retracting back into their dark dens. The heart of the city was marked with a golden statue of some hero, shimmering and sparkling in the light of the morning sun.
Chai was dressed in his usual jet black trenchcoat, coupled with his green baggy pants and brown goggles. The goat flipped through a newspaper, the Satan Star Tribune, while sitting on a bench near the central statue, eyeing several housing ads in the paper. '...Oh! How about that house?' Guardia chimed, sitting next to his partner while leaning over the paper, pointing at a picture of a large mansion. 'It says it has a pool, and a giant garden! It'll be so cool!' Guardia rang, bouncing up and down. Chai sighed, speaking back to his partner. "...We don't have the money for that." The goat spoke, pointing to the price of fifty-thousand Zeni near the house. They only had a tenth of that! 'Aw, phooey. How about this one?' Guardia remarked, now pointing to a picture of a small cottage, somewhat reminiscent of the one that the Crimson Striker base was hidden underneath back in their universe. Chai's brows raised as he spoke, sounding somewhat surprised, but happy nonetheless. "Oh! That one actually looks afforda-"
A rippling CRACK snapped the goat's attention to the scene unfolding in front of him. Eyes widening, Chai would stand up and grab Guardia's hilt, glaring up at the figure atop the breaking statue. "Guardia! Telekineis, now!" Chai commanded as the statue began to falter and fall to the ground in pieces. Guardia flew up into the air, his single eye letting out an eerie multicolored glow. 'On it, boss!'
Some of the falling rubble would halt in the air as a white glow surrounded the individual pieces, stopping the rubble from crashing onto the pedestrians below by just a few inches! A few humans weren't so lucky, although Chai managed to dart forwards and kick a piece of rubble away from a child and his mother, trying to send it flying right back at the strange ghostly culprit! '
'I see you’ve set aside this special time to humiliate yourself in public, fool.' Guardia remarked, setting the rubble aside in a pile before floating back down beside Chai, who stared at his partner with a deadpan expression. "Wow, rude." Guardia responded with a roll of his eyes, doing a quick flip in the air. 'Snark is just one more service I offer, Chai.' The sword spoke, glancing back to Chai before making eye contact with the ghostly entity that had touched down upon the ground. Taking steps to the front of the group of scared earthlings, Chai would grip his sword in both hands, narrowing his eyes at the powerful ghost. "...Look."
The goat spoke, sighing and closing his eyes for a moment. "...We can resolve this peacefully still. So, tell me... Whatever or whoever you are." Chai spoke, gesticulating in confusion when he could only ponder about the ghost's identity and species. The Blue Banner Army's goat warrior from another world narrowed his eyes, speaking in a low hiss as his energy began to flicker and flare.
"What do you want?"

‘Azguard is back,’ the Bio-Android said psychically, addressing no particular soul as it descended from the above. With a bubbly bounce, the mass of azure ooze shifted itself into a sphere, and within that oblique orb was the being itself. Just a couple of feet in length, having shown no signs of growth during its time exploring the globe, Azguard was a strange example of a test tube baby. Admittedly, being surrounded by several cubic feet of cellular sludge made up a great deal of its apparent mass. Nonetheless, it had not landed back in Satan City to reflect upon itself and biological adaptations. It was here for its usual mix of naïve curiosity and satiation of its unusual hunger.
Craaaack! ‘What was that noise?’ Azguard queried, swimming in circles as three beady eyes observed the environment. Somewhere nearby something had been broken – a sound loud enough to make its gelatinous shell quiver echoed dully in its vestigial ears. Shouting and screams filled the air as humans protested against something unknown, further exciting the amorphous aide’s senses. In particular, its sense of purpose was stirred wildly. To it, screams meant pain and injury, and that was what set it off.
Swiftly it shot through the streets of the busy metropolis, quick as an ambulance on an emergency call and driven by the same desire to bring medical treatment to those who were in need of it. Soon it arrived on the scene, practically bouncing off the asphalt to stop itself as it discovered the cause. The malleable medic had arrived in the nick of time, but it seemed there was one – no, two people who were quicker to join the fray. A horned figure dressed dark and another being shrouded in a translucent coat of technicolour had worked in tandem to bring safety to the populace. Pieces of metallic rubble gleamed as foreign power suspended them.
Staring in wonderment for what must have been a few seconds longer than anticipated, Azguard quickly shuddered in anticipation. Without so much as a sound emerging from it, it scanned the vicinity for signs of ail and injury. Nothing presented itself at first. It seemed, against all odds, two persons had saved a dozen lives. People fled the scene in panic, hysteria taking hold. The Bio-Android ignored it, not quite sure of what was happening until a piece of scattered debris smacked into its own curious carapace. The object, rather nasal in shape, bounced harmlessly against the cushion of blue before hitting the earth with a hefty thud.
“What do you want?” A voice bellowed out, somewhat disrupted by the mix of melodies that filled the air. A question had been posed, but to whom? At first the nascent panacea had believed it to be the focus of enquiry, but that notion was soon abandoned as the Core settled its gaze upon another supernatural soul. Spectral in body, eerie in form, was a man a mix of pallid and dark. Ivory façade clashed with ebony attire as a foreboding aura surrounded him. Azguard’s little heart thundered, detecting something vile and unnatural even without the power to read a being’s Ki signature. Was this fear…?
‘Who is Mister…?’ it quizzed telepathically: ‘What is Mister doing…?’ While it sought to sate its curiosity, the medicinal marvel looked about once more. Tentative in its approach, it moved a tad closer – just enough to get a better look at the folk on the scene. The one seemed familiar, as if a brief meeting had occurred, but it had otherwise forgotten. The jagged remains of a mighty statue stood derelict – a legendary landmark gone. Beside its foundations lay massive chunks of rubble, rent apart by incredible force. As astonished as it was to see such things, something else drew its focus.
Azguard saw it.
It saw them. Dark claret stained the conurbation’s myriad paths, as if the great statue itself had bled. But even the childish creation knew well that one could not draw blood from a stone. That was unmistakeable by sight. Springing forward, ignorant of the tension in the air, it descended upon the spattered pool seeping from beneath fallen masonry and metalwork. Blue touched crimson. The recognition was instantaneous.
‘No… No… No…,’ it repeated psychically. Plasm shifted to something more humanoid, yet vague. Arms of azure wedged themselves beneath the fallen boulders and heaved. Barely an inch or two from the ground and Azguard stopped its attempt, letting the fragment rest. Light plumes of dark pink spiralled within its syrupy solution, vanishing as cellular sludge processed that which had been spilt upon peaceful ground. A horrid sensation overwhelmed it, like a heavy weight had been wrapped around its innards and left to plummet into a bottomless void. It was cold, unforgiving, nonsensical, atrocious…
‘Why!?’ it asked…
Azguard gets its first glimpse of sudden death?
Had to use a darker green so it didn’t clash against/vanish into the background!

Thread PL: 26,378 All that would come from Collan was a sigh. He would be sitting on a wooden chair he took from his ship and set on the sidewalk. Usually he'd be a cheerful fellow on days like this, but something was...different. He had been thinking of his goal, the one he had set out for ever since he left his parents. He hadn't really done anything hero worthy, and it was brining him down. In fact so far, Collan had only won a single fight, but that was from pure luck...
He needed someone to talk to...so reaching into his pocket he took out the glove that original belonged to his dear friend. Putting it on, he hoped to hear Rinsuji's voice echo through his head...there was nothing but silence. Perhaps he was resting? Things were only getting worse weren't they? The answer to that a clear yes, as he heard a large cracking noise, he looked over to see someone appearntly terrorizing the place.
At first Collan was terrified when he sensed their energy, but saw that two new people had come in to take care of him. Thankfully one of them he immediately recognized which was Chai, and the other he was sure he knew from somewhere but he wasn't sure...that's when it hit Collan. This was his chance! A villain was right there in front of him, and Collan was going to take him down! The white haired wonder could finally become a hero!
So jumping into the air and floating in place, he shouted right at Greeve. "Hey! How about you learn to not break things that aren't yours!" Aiming a palm to the enemy, he'd keep his right arm steady with his left, trying to get a direct hit. "SINJIN!!" His signature red beam would head straight towards the ghost, hopefully hitting.
Collan is getting pumped, firing his Sinjin as his first attack!

[Thread PL: 72,061]
"No no, need more curve. Visor like thiiiis...... And then I make a line he-OOOOOH NOOOOO!"
EGG was muttering to himself in a park located a couple blocks away, the pink and blue tennenman preoccupied with something at a small picnic table on this stormy evening. It looked like it could rain at any minute now, but the little guy felt safe underneath the little roofing that was built over a set of four tables. And why the little guy was muttering to himself was because he had went to the nearby Pastime Pasture as he had a vision in his mind. Ever since he worked with Captain Nova, the small pink and blue plant alien had decided that he needed a hero suit of his own. He knew he stood out like a sore thumb, but at the same time he also knew that his normal appearance wasn't the most attractive.
He knew he looked like a dangerous alien that looked like it would snatch babies out of cradles in the middle of the night, shown especially on those Saturday Morning Cartoons.
And after getting himself a couple colored pencils, a black marker, and a journal, he started drawing up some ideas of him in costumes. He had already filled out a good six pages with drawings of him in costumes that looked similar to Captain Nova's, but he wanted to be recognized as his own hero persona, as Star Cadet. With many re-designs, he was on his seventh page, in the middle of working a helmet that could split open at the top in order to accommodate for his little head acid shtick. But, while working on the curvature on the line, his hand slipped and pressed too hard on the paper, snapping the pencil in half. Feeling a little defeated, EGG cursed the world for giving him hands that made it such a pain to hold pencils!
Though, as he started to be brought back to reality after snapping all of his drawing utensils, he could feel an ominous presence building in the air. A strong presence, heavy and laden with animosity, seeping from the plaza of the park. EGG being so entranced in his own drawings that he only just now noticed Chai and a couple others in that area, facing against with someone immensely powerful. Having a bad feeling about this, EGG closed the journal and put it in his cape's pocket. Leaving his broken pencils on the table, EGG bolted through the air through a couple blocks, to find the scene unfolding.
Eyes widen with horror as he could feel the diminishing energies of people pinned underneath a statue, EGG quickly watched as Chai asked the being what it wanted. Watching a blob-like entity freak out over... OH Kami above! The little tennenman's heart sank as he saw a large pool of blood expand outward from the broken fragments of the statue. He also sensed the approaching Collan, the little tennenman sensing the young man charging something up, about to attack the culprit above the statue. From gauging the two strengths, EGG knew full well that the attack would do nothing. Closing his eyes, he could feel the life energies of at least two people, clinging on to dear life no less, as they lay underneath one half of the statue...
The other statue's side had no life energies, a large gaggle of mangled bodies pooling another separate pool of blood. EGG was going to be utterly sick.
In his mind, EGG tried to envision of Captain Nova would do. What this situation needed was a true hero, one who would stand up for what was right, and a smart one at that. While figuring out what to do, EGG sprinted over to the piece of statue the blob person was trying to lift, EGG's clawed hands latching onto its underside as he started lifting it up. Though struggling at first, the caped hero was able to lift the destroyed piece of the statue into the air. At this point in time, Collan just launched his attack at the attacker, and within both eyesight and earshot.
"DON'T KNOW NAME OF BLOB!" EGG shouted, prepping up a slew of commands, "BUT BLOB PERSON! COLLAN! GRAB THESE TWO AND TAKE TO SAFETY, MAKE SURE SAFE! THEY NEED HELP, NOW!"
EGG's commanding bravado was easily seen as built up, once they looked at his face, one wrought with anguish and sadness as he looked down on the couple underneath who were holding each other for dear life, with a rather large man, more than likely a biker due to his leather jacket with an emblem emblazoned on it and his gruff and scraggly appearance whose corpse was located right on top of them... It as easy to see that this large biker had just become a hero himself today... A very sad state, as he used his large body to shield the teenage couple, an action which costed him his own life, but in exchange left the couple down below with crushed bones, and a gash on the side of the man's leg... But the two of them were alive.
Closing his eyes, he gave a prayer for this heroic person who gave up his own life to save these two people.
"MOVE THEM, NOOOOW! CIVILIANS, LEAVE RIGHT NOW, GET TO SAFETY!!!" EGG shouted, a very grief stricken rage filling his voice, completely infuriated that such a wonderful life was brought to an end, because of the person on top. As he lamented the loss of this precious life, the civilians that lingered around snapped to reality as they soon started to value their own lives once again, remembering that they could move their own legs as far away as possible. Soon enough, civilians were evacuating the nearby area, leaving only the strong, the weak, the injured, and the deceased to remain at the scene of the crime.
Dropping the fragmented statue piece into a piece of nearby shrubbery, making sure to gently place it down on top of solid grass, EGG turned around with a determination in his eyes, his heart determined to make things right.
"Why!?" He shouted, demanding for an answer, wanting to know for what reason this person did such an atrocious act.

It seemed that Greeve's little display had attracted more attention than he had expected. Then again, people almost seemed to come out of the woodwork whenever something like this happened. Guess when death is involved, people are very sensitive to that sort of thing. Greeve would never understand their sort. But still, it was a rather interesting turnout. A groat looking man and a glowing, multi-coloured figure, a small pink alien creature, and what appeared to be a fetus floating in a goo ball. All four of them not pleased by the falling statue crushing civilians. Hell, Greeve hadn't even intended for the statue to kill people. It had just been a fortunate accident.
As the glowing figure caught the pieces of the statue with what appeared to be telekinesis, the goat man kicked a chunk of rubble at Greeve's direction. Greeve quickly brought up a hand, catching the rubble and letting it drop to the floor. The goat man then said something about ending this peacefully.
And yet he launched a piece of rubble at my head.
Funny how some people said they wanted to end it peacefully when really they didn't. Ah the hypocrisy of life. The little alien and the goo fetus were demanding to know why he did it. So no harm in answering their question. "What I want is simple." the ghost spoke calmly, a small smile on his face, "I just want everyone in this city to die. Nothing more, nothing less. And before you say anything, yes, 'everyone' now includes you four." Greeve's smile turned into a sinister smirk. Despite their heroics, all of them present were much weaker than himself. The strongest one, the glowing figure, only really reached up to just over half of his current power. A refreshing change compared to last time. The ghost took a step towards the goat man in front of him.
"Hey! How about you learn to not break things that aren't yours!"
Greeve paused, his eyes turning skyward towards a young, white haired man floating nearby, his palm stretched out toward him. He could see red energy charging in his hand, before a red beam suddenly shot out towards him. Greeve didn't even seem to move as the beam struck him head on, kicking up dust and rubble in the following explosion. For a moment, all was quiet. Had Collan done it? Had the young hero stopped the rogue ghost?
As the smoke cleared, it would become painfully clear that, no, he had not. Infact, the ghost seemed barely even scuffed by the attack.
"And it seem now somebody's jumped to the front of the line." Greeve smirked as he extended a hand out towards the youth, "Thank you so much for volunteering." Dark energy charged in his palm, before a ball of black energy hot out, aimed right at Collan.

After making his appearance, EGG started to hear the intentions of the enemy that stood before them. The young hero already knew for sure that Collan's attack wouldn't even make a dent, poor guy always sticking his nose when he should be trying to do actual hero things such as saving the people around him. Hopefully Collan would listen to his command of saving the injured, as that was the best he could do. Damage control, while EGG and Chai can handle this monstrosity that stood before them.
Though, it seemed that Greeve had something else on his mind, as he explained a rather dastardly thing that EGG could only describe as pure evil. There was no rhyme or reason, nor ulterior motive behind his words. This thing that stood before him only wished for the deaths of everyone in this city, which included the people who had just arrived. And it seemed Collan's little stunt put him first on the chopping block, the pale being lifting up a simple arm to shoot an orb of black glowing energy, strong enough to completely destroy the white haired warrior.
Biting his lip as he did not have enough time to create a full fledged barrier and Collan being too far away to even consider running over there to create the thing, EGG had to do with a plan B that he knew would end in complete disaster for himself. Slamming his foot on the ground, EGG launched himself in the air towards Collan's position, the pink and blue tennenman curling into a ball as he built up energy around him, a golden aura encompassing the pink and blue caped hero, darting straight in front of Collan, aiming to get slam himself straight into the death orb.
Closing his eyes as he got near, the golden sphere EGG encompassed himself in collided with the dark orb, black and gold lights clashing with one another, fighting for complete dominance. Though, with the short amount of time EGG had to prepare for his 'Save Collan' maneuver, the dark orb completely broke the golden orb, slamming straight into the heroic tennenman. From the impact point, two things split off in different directions. The first object blasted past Collan, bouncing against the ground as the body of EGG slammed straight into a tree, slumping down into a smoldering mess. The owner of the body completely alive, but something was completely off.
What was completely off made itself known, as the second thing that blasted off from the impact point landed smack dab to the right of Collan's feet, causing a pool of white blood to creep out from the wound... It was a left arm... A pink arm, charred from the dark energy which collided with it.
EGG was groaning out loud as he grasped the wound, finding that the good thing about this attack was that it prevented him from bleeding severely as most of the wound was cauterized from the energy attack. Though white blood dribbled down from the hole in his shoulder, EGG's body was moderately damaged from the attack alone. Eyes fluttering open, EGG awoke to find that he had been disarmed in a sense, pain soon rolling over his body in extreme waves, the tennenman shutting his eyes forcefully to build up the will to continue fighting.
His breath becoming ragged, EGG pulled himself to his feet as his will to protect others was not going to fade. Still finding that he has the strength to fight on, the one armed tennenman pulled himself to his feet, body shaking as adrenaline pumped through his veins, doing itself to blind its owner that it lost one of its own precious limbs. Eyes trained on Greeve, the pained EGG shouted at Collan more forcefully than ever, "COLLAN, SWEAR TO... KAMI YOU LEAVE NOW!... I... RRRRRK! BARELY SURVIVE THIS. YOU GET... CIVILIANS OUT NOW!"
Taking up a fighting pose, EGG steeled himself to continue the fight.

Chai grit his teeth as his quick kick of rubble did little damage, as expected. The goat's ears twitched as more powers began to close in. He recognized EGG and Collan right off the bat as fear took hold of his heart. What were they doing here? Playing hero, like Chai was?! No-- this was supposed to be him alone! He should be the only one to risk his life, nobody else should get hurt...! The goat's senses tingled as the many humans scattered, their energies growing more and more distant as time passed. Chai noted a few weak, diminishing presances that remained... Wait a second. 'Oh kais...' Guardia spoke, his voice solemn, while trembling like a leaf. Catching each and every piece of falling rubble proved to be an impossible task for even the mighty Guardia. All the blade could do was watch as a biker threw himself in the way of a falling piece of debris, protecting a young teenage couple.
Chai turned around, his face turning a little blue when he caught sight of the fallen humans. There were only a few, but it made his heart sink to deep depths. Turning around, Chai glanced at the trembling child he had just saved by kicking the rubble at Greeve... "You should go, kid." Chai spoke to the child, his hair casting a shadow over his eyes. The boy hesitantly nodded, standing up and dashing after the rest of the fleeing civilians. Chai sighed, sliding a foot back and raising his partner into a stance as a telepathic voice chimed out, not belonging to either Chai or Guardia.
Azguard entered the scene, wrought with grief over the loss of innocent life. Guardia recognized the little blob as he changed forms, although Chai was confused. Both of the partners were still filled with sorrow and guilt upon seeing the little one's mourning. '...I'm so sorry.' Guardia spoke, glancing to the ground. Dammit- he could have saved them too! If only he had more time-- if only he had more focus! Shameful and guilty, the sword closed his eye tightly before it widened with the approach of EGG, whom was just as affected over the loss of innocents. Maeve was right about EGG's purity, to say the very least.
It seemed this demon wanted nothing more than the death of everyone in this city. 'No reasoning now, I guess.' Chai thought, narrowing his eyes at the ghostly man. Standing strong, Chai would briefly give Guardia's blade a quick flick, causing energy to charge within the sword. Collan landed on the scene as well, and EGG demanded for the white haired boy and the blob to help the fallen humans... So it was EGG and Chai against this fellow now? It was best to let the strong ones do the work while the weaker ones stayed back. One hit from Greeve could easily send Collan or Azguard to Otherworld!
Chai let out a gasp when Collan went to attack Greeve with a yell. All of this was eerily familiar somehow. "NO! DON'T!!" Chai yelled in a desperate, shaking screech to his friend. Collan's attack bounced harmlessly off the ghost's body. Smoke rose, concealing the damage done to the demon ghost... But Chai's senses were strong. The attack was ineffective, as revealed when the fog cleared- zero damage.
And with that, Greeve let out a devilish smile, speaking in an eerily calm tone. "No." Chai whispered while Guardia's pupil shrank. The goat's eyes hazed as his surroundings flickered back to the old Crimson Striker base. In Greeve's place stood President Bing, with a taller Jinkoman EGG and Collan standing in the places of their parallels. "No, no, no!!" Chai spoke, his tone louder. His form froze and refused to obey his commands to move in this hallucination.
"Ugh. I hate cheap imitations." The president spoke in a familiar, cold tone. Raising a single finger, the white haired ruler of his world's Earth shot a beam of ki forwards! "NO!! STOP!!!" Chai yelled, closing his eyes and dashing forwards. When he opened his eyes again, everything was back to normal, save for one change in the timeline.
Chai just barely avoided rushing into the way of the attack himself, stopping inches away from EGG as he was struck by the attack, sent flying back. Staring down, Chai's face would go blue, his form trembling like a leaf when he saw what lay at Collan's feet.
An arm.
A shadow was cast over the goat's eyes as he lowered his head, form trembling. '...Chai?' Guardia questioned, his eye darting from the tennenman, to his missing limb, to his partner himself. Tears began to trickle down the goat's cheeks like a stream, but he remained silent. Baring his teeth, one would be able to make out his canines sharpen, and black lines creep down his cheeks and forehead.
"YOU!"
Chai finally snapped, opening his mouth and whipping around. Droplets still flew from his eyes like a waterfall, but his tone was wrought with anger and sorrow. Guardia's eye widened as rainbow ki flew from the goat's form, and his energy skyrocketed to a much higher level! The sword had seen this once before- Chai experienced a surge of strength when he fought Bing himself in Tourit's tournament. But this? This was different, somehow.
"HOW COULD YOU?!" The goat yelled, lunging forwards with Guardia in hand. With one of his newly sharpened claws bared, the goat would leap forwards at a high speed, swinging his free arm back in an attempt to slash the ghostly demon's face! Afterwards, the goat would lower his head as his horns let off a quick flash of energy. With a mighty, horned headbutt, Chai would attempt to drive his spiked appendages right into Greeve's ghostly stomach!
Hopping back after his barrage, Chai would lower his head. The goat raised an arm, opening his fingers wide as rainbow energy began to gather and flicker like a fire, his expression filled with regret and rage. He was not going to let history repeat itself this time.

“Don’t know name of blob,” shouted a rather coarse and shrill voice – a yell that pierced Plasm with ease to reach underdeveloped ears. Azguard flinched as it heard the cries, crisp enough to snap it from its tormented trance. It was being given orders, by somebody who knew how to take charge, no less! However, it was not a human that was giving out such commands, but something altogether more alien. Small, pink, slightly disproportionate for a sapient species, was the caller. Above sorrow and pain so otherworldly the Bio-Android acted in accord, drawing itself an uneasy circle as it somersaulted within its slime before darting across the area to where still living civilians lay pinned and wounded.
‘Azguard will take humans to safety – Azguard will protect,’ resonated worrisome tones upon psychic aether. All would hear, even if just a little, the trepidation and uncertainty within the being’s telepathic voice. And yet it was acting valiantly despite its insecurities. It could not save the dead, but it could rescue the living, and that was exactly what it was trying to do as it slipped into position. A man in leather had lost his own vitality, but beneath him were survivors of this accident. Gelatinous tendrils heaved the corpse and debris out of the way, Plasm filling the gaps and encompassing damaged flesh.
‘Do not try and move,’ the malleable medic assured its patients. They were in their teens, or so the hormones in their blood suggested, and not quite yet in the prime of their life. Under no circumstances was it going to let them become casualties. A warming, soothing blanket of blue formed around them, restraining them and supporting their injured physiques. Broken bones, mild haemorrhaging and concussion were all made note of as microscopic mixtures got to work in stabilising human needs. Still it would have to cart them off to the hospital’s Accident and Emergency department, but this admittedly gooey alternative was far better than waiting on an ambulance or two.
“What I want is simple,” the phantasm replied: “I just want everyone in this city to die.”
Blurbble… The Core turned to face the ominous one. If facial expressions were even possible, no doubt the small saviour would have presented Greeve with a look of utter horror. Alas, three little eyes staring emptily and a slight paling of grey flesh were about all it could achieve, plus an uneasy bubbling of its blue excretions.
“Thank you so much,” the spectre stated. Attentions split between its patients and the offender, it was all Azguard could do to watch helplessly as a blackened ball as dark as a winter’s night and most likely every bit as cold shot through the air towards a snow-haired stranger. Everything seemed to happen so fast before the amorphous soul’s eyes, and yet it all seemed to take forever to come to an end. Sheathed in gold, the pink and wrinkly person moved to take the hit from the midnight missile, swallowed suddenly by a blackening blast of energy.
‘Azguard is sorry,’ it echoed to its twin patients: ‘Azguard cannot move quickly while holding both humans…’
Thump! Something hit the ground quite suddenly, not too far from the ovular orderly’s current locale as it crawled across the ground with its patients cushioned upon it. Like a hovering hospital gurney it moved at an easy pace, albeit nowhere near as fast as it might have liked. It just could not produce enough Plasm, let alone control such quantities, and still remain stable. Abandoning one was not an option it wanted to take, nor could the nascent panacea afford to linger until further aid came. It was an unusual sight – a spongey azure disk with two people resting upon it slipping smoothly over uneven ground…
Azguard works to get the humans out of here!

As Collan's beam headed for the ghost, Chai had yelled out at the white haired wonder. He had no idea why, I mean he was just attacking the enemy, and smirked as the smoke appeared. Though he knew Greeve was obviously alive, what he wasn't prepared for was an attack from his opponent heading right for Collan.
His eyes filled with shock, he moved his arms in front of him in an attempt to block...an explosion in front of him. He felt nothing...no pain...no physical pain at least. As he moved his arms to see what the attack hit. Egg had taken the blast for Collan, losing a whole arm in the process. "E-Egg!" He stuttered as he said the Tenneman's name.
What Egg said next was simple...get the civilians out of her. Collan could only clench his teeth as the order was given to him. "I...I'll do it, but Egg, I'm not going to leave that easily. I'll get them away, but as soon as I'm done I am going to fight! You can't stop me, and besides, I'm now in your debt...so I reccommend that with your current situation, you get out of here yourself."
Quickly dropping down, he'd shout towards the people on the streets. "Let's move! If you want to see your families again you'll run as fast as possible!" Collan leaped back up into the air, hovering over the citizen's heads in attempts to lead them out of the new battle grounds that were made of the area.
As he did this, he looked back at the battle to see Chai attacking Greeve in a burst of rage. His power...it had risen immensely. "...You're one of the few people I can count on." The hero in training muttered to himself, continuing to move the crowds out of the battle field. He also saw that a blob of sort had came to help, that would at least help this go quicker.
Collan some what follows Eggs advice and leads a crowd of people, hoping to get them out before continuing to fight Greeve!

Greeve should have expected someone to try and protect the hot headed fool. After all, it had happened last time. Though this time, it proved a lot more successful than he had expected. The small pink alien had gone in front of the foolish boy to try and stop the attack, costing the little one his arm in the process. Greeve couldn't help but give a small smirk. Foolish creature. It effectively crippled itself, and for what? To buy the idiotic man a little more time? Greeve would get him eventually, and all the alien had done was handicap itself. These heroic types made no sense sometimes.
Though his actions had achieved an unexpected result. The goat man let out an explosion of rage, his power skyrocketing as it shot up to stronger than even his rainbow glowing companion. His power was now close to two thirds of Greeve's current power. Still not enough, but definitely an improvement. With his sword in hand, the goat man charged towards him, shouting in fury as it brought a hand out to claw at Greeve. The ghost was more than prepared, bringing his hand up to catch the attack. However, he didn't expect what happened next. The goat brought his demonic head down, driving his horns right into Greeve's stomach.
The ghosts eyes widened in surprise as pain shot through his body, the demon letting out a grunt of frustration. A bit of ectoplasm leaked from the wound as a look of annoyance flashed across his face. That damn animal! He tried to hop back to put space between them, but Greeve was going to have none of that, grabbing hold of the arm Chai had tried to attack him with earlier. "Oh no you don't!" he growled, yanking the goat closer to deliver a knee right into his stomach. He was going to make him pay for that. Releasing the arm, he then swung to catch him in an uppercut to knock the goat back.
It was then he noticed something. A sort of energy charging up in the sword he held. Yes, that sword was definitely alive. Two powers working in tandem. Clever. Greeve was not going to allow it. The smirk gone from his face, the ghost held a hand out, a familiar black ball of energy beginning to form. But this one was stronger than before, and growing stronger by the second. He wanted to play at that? Greeve was more than happy to provide.

Another presence of battle attracted Pieter to the iconic Satan City. The last time Pieter had been here, he'd fought against his distant cousins from the SSE about a year and a half ago. The Prince, Luffa, had been beaten aside by Pieter, whilst Articho had went to handle the commanding officer there and the people were suddenly threatened with a blast he couldn't stop! His future fellow classman managed to stop Luffa's attack, nearly burning his own hand off trying to slay Luffa.
Now, he sensed many more presences, 2 of which he recognized as Chai and his sword, and another as the modest saibaman, EGG! EGG's energy had been wavering, forcing Pieter to rush over, his super saiyan form engaged to get there. Chai and his sword seemed to triple their strength in outrage and assaulted the enemy, who now seemed to be gathering their strength! Pieter's immense power, compared to these two, could be felt rapidly approaching the area!
"I permit none of you to fight any further," Pieter shouted, his hawk-like eyes seeing the wounded saibaman and directed his movement to him! The hunter landed next to him, pulling out a senzu bean from his headband and placed it in his still existing hand. He told him, "Eat this and be at the ready to go to the hospital, just in case!"
Pieter looked back up, seeing Chai and his sword getting in direct contact with this... It felt like a demon's energy, but it was lacking. Whatever it was, Pieter didn't bother to waste time. He wasn't going to let this continue any further!
Energy welled within Pieter. He slammed his hands upon his chest, beginning a ritualistic dance as he begun to shout with terrifying energy, in his tribe's tongue, "Doryar! Te fette ne sher taan cor sher ber!" (Translation, don't copy this stuff: Coward! Be ripped by sharp teeth and sharp bone!)
Pieter was intending for the chant to scare the strange enemy to stop its building of an attack and to open an opportunity for Chai to end the fight before it could continue any further! The area they were in was becoming a war zone already.

On shaky legs did EGG stand, his body slowly realizing the fact that it was missing an entire limb. EGG's head becoming quite light, making him feel faint, his vision doubling before him as things started to fade in and out of focus. Trying to move a hand to his face, to slap himself out of this dizziness realized that he couldn't feel his face. Looking to the arm her was trying to slap himself with, he saw the fleshy hole in which his arm and shoulder once lay just a few moments ago. Feeling quite sick to his stomach as he saw the white blood strewn about the hole, wincing more as this realization caused him to feel the waves roll about him more intensely, EGG darted his eyes away, not wanting to look at his own wound. Though, he frowned as he noticed that his cape was missing a huge chunk out of it, with crisped edges burnt black with the ghost's own evil energy. Hearing the words of Collan, but not actually recognizing as EGG still stood in his stupor, the hero just nodded as he was still pulling himself back to action, forcefully shutting his eyes. Opening them to blink quite rapidly as he brought his still remaining hand to his face, slapping himself silly. A simple action waking him up enough to watch the events unfold before him, Chai becoming quite enraged over the scenes taking place in which EGG got severely damaged, tossing his own attack towards Greeve. Straining his eyes to keep focused on the fight, EGG was quite delighted to see at least some damage get inflicted upon the ghostly villain! Though it didn't do much in the grand scheme of things, it lead to a conflict between Chai and Guardia against Greeve, the three of them building their energies to duke it out. Despite being wounded to a severe degree and the growing amounts of pain that shocked his body, EGG couldn't help but smile rather proudly at what he had currently done. Though at a great cost to his own body, EGG was more than glad that he was able to save the life of someone whom he considered a friend. He'd gladly give up his entire body if it meant the ability to save all of his friends from impending doom, the hero to be finally able to get a handle on his body once more, his talons twitching to and fro as he was making sure his body was working as well as it could. Seeing a decent level of success in his attempts to move his talon bits, EGG's eyes steeled onto the conflict before him, the plant alien building energy within his arm in order to assist Chai and Guardia in whatever thing they were about to do next. But then someone appeared, a person with an insanely vast amount of strength approaching. Before EGG could even get the chance to worry as to whether this was a hero or a villain, the answer made itself known as the Saiyaindian landed on the ground before them all, demanding that all the fighting cease immediately. EGG being completely shocked at the strength of this man and his sudden appearance, that he didn't know how to react when the guy gave him a green bean looking thing and said something about going to the hospital. Looking at the bean in the hand, EGG started to feel rather insulted. Especially after looking up to watch the the golden haired warrior start shouting in complete gobbledygook. Standing still, EGG's mind started to wander at an increasing pace... Is... Is he insulting me? Giving me this normal bean, telling me to leave my duty as a hero... Him trying to save the day after I risked my body to save someone? Him trying to usurp control of the fight from Chai? Is Piet trying to outshow everyone else as a hero? His train of thought spiraled deeper as he watched this insanely powerful warrior appear, wondering as to why he didn't come here sooner. Wondering why he acted only now, when such a big thing just occurred to EGG. The tennenman's body started shaking rather violently, as his gaze trained in on the back of Pieter, becoming more and more enraged by this man's appearance. For the longest time, EGG wanted to confirm as to whether or not he had what it took to be a hero, which included overcoming an insurmountable force such as the villain that stood before them today... And Pieter's arrival only told EGG to leave it in the hands of someone stronger, someone who'll trounce this villain like a red clad robot?!
"Leave..." A growled voice escaped EGG's lips, almost like a whisper, as his body moving instinctively. Pieter's interference unleashed a rage that EGG thought was locked off to him. A power locked deep in his subconscious due to his distaste for using a violent kind of energy, EGG's own saiba rage burst forth once more, born from the extreme disrespect Pieter was giving to EGG and Chai. "If want make yourself useful, take Blob and Collan to safety. But not appreciate you being here, insult me after I give so much to save Collan. GIVING ME STUPID BEAN, AND TELL ME TO ABANDON DUTIES AS HERO!?"Raising his voice as rage consumed his mind, EGG threw the bean on the ground and crushed it beneath his foot as he walked past Pieter, not knowing of the true worth of a senzu bean... Nor caring in all honesty, due to his state of mind. The one armed tennenman walked past the Saiyaindian, EGG's strength doubling from what it was just mere moments before. Although said power flickered downward every couple of moments due to his injuries, EGG was raring to continue fighting as he lowered himself into a fighting stance with bent knees and curling his one remaining arm. "I WANT PROVE TO SELF, WORTHY OF BEING HERO TO ALL! YOU NOT STOP THAT! BAD PIETER! IF I FALL, UNABLE TO FIGHT MORE, THEN YOU BE HERO. I BE UNWORTHY OF BEING HERO THEN! IF NOT WANT TAKE COLLAN AND BLOB AWAY, AND DISRESPECT US FURTHER..."EGG paused as he swallowed some of the blood which had been gradually pooling in his mouth, the tennenman having bit the inside of his cheek rather hard upon impacting the tree. Spitting the remaining white blood out of his mouth and onto the ground, he turned his head toward Pieter with the most rage fueled glare he could muster up, the tennenman's soul burning with fury due to Pieter's outright disrespect to EGG's pride as a hero. Steeling his resolve, EGG shouted out at Pieter... "THEN FUCK OFF!" EGG's rage fueled mind reaching to levels never before seen in the usual happy tennenman, this being the first time that the plant-alien had ever cursed. The tennenman who was always very sensitive to curse words and went as far as to instinctively punch people who used nasty words too often, has finally uttered his first obscenity. Not even the EGG in Chai's universe ever cursed before, nor in any other universe EGG has ever existed in. This was the first time that any EGG had said any of the forbidden words, and at such a volume no less.
Pieter's Interference caused EGG's Saiba Rage to resurface after so long, 72,061 PL ===> 144,122 PL

<< Previous ThreadWHERE'S YOUR HERO NOW?
The raging goat man would continue to growl after his headbutt landed firm. When Chai tried to hop back, the goat's furious eyes would reduce to startled slits when Greeve grabbed hold of his arm! Dragged close, Chai would have the wind knocked out of his form when Greeve went to kick his stomach successfully. His inverted eyes darting back up to lock onto his new enemy let go of his arm, Chai would lean back in order to dodge Greeve's uppercut before letting out an animaistic hiss, and jerking his head forwards to flat out chomp down on the ghost's thrown arm with his sharpened canines!
Should the bite attack succeed, Chai would jerk his head back with Greeve in hold, attempting to throw the demon in his maw to the ground with his new strength and unbridled rage! "You.... YOU..." The goat hissed, his chest pulsating up and down with each breath. Standing atop a broken piece of the golden statue with Guardia in hand, the goat would lower his head, baring his sharpened teeth once more. Bite worse than his bark, Chai mentally swore to himself to take this freak demon down- no matter what. After what he did to EGG, after he nearly killed Collan...! Chai was not going to let this demon leave unpunished.
Glancing back as his senses caught a whiff of Collan approaching once more, the goat would whip around and glare at his friend with hostility. "What are you still doing here...?" Chai spoke, his voice low and questioning. Repressing his anger for a moment, the goat would cock his head back with surprise when he sensed a large, familiar power approaching. Pieter? What the devil was he doing here, of all places?
The Super Saiyan touched down while Chai stood strong, his breaths still slow and heavy. His demands to cease fighting would fall on Chai's deaf ears-- he tried to reason. But as the goat learned the hard way, there was no arguing with someone with a mindset like this. Eyes darting back for a moment, Chai would eye the saiyan giving his friend a Senzu Bean... But this just wasn't right.
Chai's already unstable soul began to ripple with pangs of defiance and ire. His surroundings began to flicker once more to the familiar hallucination of the Crimson Striker base on siege. He saw his EGG perish in front of him, he saw Collan fall in one strike-- he saw Hinawa beg and plea for his safety. All of them tried to be heroes. All of them tried to do exactly what Pieter was doing. And they all fell.
While Chai was having his crisis, his form would buckle every now and then with each heavy breath. Guardia, while charging his attack, would flinch as the golden fighter began to yell in some strange language. Distracted as his focus was lost, the sword would mumble telepathically. '...The fuck?' Guardia mused, pondering what the hell the man was saying. Was he crazy? Maybe. In the midst of his confusion, the stunned sword's charge would slowly begin to drop, until it was back to nothing...
This feeling of uselessness was not unfamiliar. Even with this new surge of strength, the goat was a speck compared to B-- Pieter. Was this all he was now? "...No." Chai spoke once more, recalling Pieter's command to stop fighting. Clenching his fists, the goat's shaking soul burst with the urge to fight. This was his chance to prove to himself that no matter how strong a foe was, no matter the odds above him, he could win. But now with this new insignificance when he compared himself to Pieter... Well, EGG worded Chai's own emotions very well.
After EGG's first outburst, silence would pass for a few moments as the one-armed plant boy took a few steps forward, standing near the rubble Chai stood atop. Growling, the goat would slowly turn his head somewhat, just enough so the false pupil in his missing eye made contact with Pieter. "...Do you know what this means to us?" The goat questioned, his voice soft and hoarse at first.
"Do you know what we're tying to prove? I..." The goat snarled while his blade stared on in shock. Never once had he seen Chai with this level of anger and rudeness... 'C-Chai, don't be rude now...!' The sword spoke, although his reversed words fell onto deaf ears. The goat's head turned around completely as his pupils flashed crimson, red streaks rippling down the black markings on his cheeks for a mere moment. "I'm not going to sit aside and be useless anymore! Don't you dare invalidate and patronize me and MY friend!"
Chai's fists clenched as he raised his head, closing his eyes as repressed images and emotions all came flooding back, thanks to his unstable emotions in this new form. "They all died! They all died because they tried to help me and my weak ass!" Chai spoke, growling and throwing an arm towards the stature piece below him, punching it and sending cracks soaring down the gold piece. Falling to his knees, the goat continued. "None of you would last a single second in the world I come from..." Guardia quickly caught onto what Chai was hinting at. 'Chai...!!!' The sword began, but was cut off when the goat raised his head, a sharp kiai flying from his form, sending dust flying back, and making the trees shake in fear. "In my UNIVERSE I tried so hard to save, my pathetic excuse for a home..."
"YOU'RE ALL DEAD!"
Chai yelled, finally giving in as more tears cascaded down his cheeks. Turning his head around as EGG snapped once more, the goat would lower his head and let out another stifled hiccup. "So if you want to undermine us any further..." Chai mused after EGG's rant, curling his head back before throwing it forwards, speaking in unison with the tennenman in his edgelord rage mode. "THEN FUCK OFF!" With that last yell, the goat's breathing would slow, though it would remain heavy with his rage and invalidation. '....Holy fucking shit dude.' The straight man of the group remarked after the outburst between Chai and EGG, a bead of sweat dripping down his stony black hilt. Glancing back to Greeve and his charging attack cautiously, the sword wasn't sure what to make of all this anymore. 'Eheheh.... Good one, Chai.'

Power Level – 36,627
Word Count – 1,004
“I permit none of you to fight any further!” Yet another shout filled the air, commanding and certain in intonation. In its slow and strained effort to carry two patients at once, Azguard looked to the skies, still feeling a strange emptiness welling up inside. There was nothing quite as comparable to what it had witnessed, and the culprit was none other than the dark and ominous silhouette that still loomed above. It was only as a darker skinned human of jet hair and strange dress flew onto the scene, yelling something fierce in an unknown tongue that the hollow sensation seemed to shift a little.
Power surged outwards as inkiness gathered.
Just like when it had met Walker, and just like when it had witnessed more curious exchange within Satan City, this was the kind of radiant aura that made the Bio-Android feel so horribly weak. Ki or otherwise, that kind of energy was above and beyond the need to sense, so potent that it made even the lacking senses of Azguard feel the pressure rise. Black hair turned bright, gold seemingly tinged with green through the Plasm’s translucent hue. A recognisable form, but unusual all the same. What was it that allowed such people to tap into such power – and why would they need it?
“Why stop?” asked a weak voice: “Are… Are you alright…?” The Core shifted.
“Saw you on the news,” said the human male suspended upon the sapphire sheet. His speech was ragged, a little broken as he worked against fractured ribs and torn muscle. He was wearing a brave face, one hand gently wrapped around the fingers of the female that lay beside him. She was breathing shallowly, comfortably, as spongy slime supported her head and lower back. Cuts and grazes on both had been encompassed in blue, microscopic cells working to protect the blood from infection as the sapiens’ own systems worked slowly to repair what they could. The youth spoke again: “You saved a… policeman once… right?”
‘Yes…’ “Captain Nova was there, too,” he coughed a bit, wincing: “I al– ow– always wanted to be a hero. Can’t fight like those guys, though, so I… So I was thinking about going to med school. I can’t do what you do, but I can try. Ambulances will be here shortly, right? Put us down and go help them – they need– uff– they need you more than we do.”
Despite his youth, this human showed something odd. It was devotion to a cause. Azguard pondered for a moment, for it was almost as if the invalid had read its mind. Maybe he had? Or maybe he was just a person of strangely like mind, albeit without the same naïveté that the malleable medic possessed. Nonetheless, words stirred up the empty void within it yet more and more until the puddle-like paramedic was practically bubbling with something even more intense than dark, cold sorrow. The pink one and the white-haired warrior, the goat and his technicolour blade, and now the roaring man of golden locks were all fighting a battle against someone who was actively trying to bring about death and destruction.
“THEN F*€% OFF!” ‘Azguard thanks patients,’ it echoed suddenly to its passengers, slipping away steadily whilst leaving behind just enough of its gelatinous form to cover vital spots that needed treatment. The two teens now lay just out of harm’s way – sheltered beneath the trees a little ways away from where Ki was being tossed around. A hospital would have been better, but the aspiring orderly knew what he was getting himself and his partner into when he had spoken. It hesitated for a moment, forming a sphere of blue as it hovered a bit higher and spoke psychically: ‘Azguard will be back soon – but first…’
Schwlooorp! Across the town it shot at speed; a cigar-shaped blur of blue that had begun to glow with an eerie cyan luminescence. It halted just yards away from Pieter, Egg and company, its triumvirate of beady eyes brimming with strange emotion as it honed in upon the Ghost. All around it, neon blue seemed to shiver and writhe and warp. Each and every participant in this peculiar fight was duly noted as, all across the park area, it resonated with certainty.
‘Azguard is here to help! There will be no wounded, no more death,’ it cried, looking first to EGG and then to Chai and Guardia. Then, its eyes settled upon the coruscating warrior of golden hair: ‘Azguard is sorry, but they cannot listen to Mister’s orders. Azguard is a medic – they heal people who are sick and injured, but they cannot heal the dead. So, Azguard is going to help everybody fight!’
Strengthened in will and glowing even more vividly, the shining slime turned once again back to the morbid monstrosity that was Greeve. All of the people it had worked to heal were grateful for its existence, and it had never felt as useless as when it had seen bodies crushed beneath rubble. It was not fast enough, not strong enough, and certainly not capable enough to lend aid there and then. Guilt – that was what that feeling was. It was time to make up for that.
The glow turned near enough blinding, swallowing Azguard’s vision in radiant aura. Heat poured from its body as thick blue steamy enveloped it – every cell in its body was heating up as raw energy multiplied. Every single bacterium and virus that it had consumed thus far was being converted into something more. The Plasm shifted to its strange humanoid state, but swelled further. Seven feet grew to eight-and-a-half, stubby and truncated legs grew thick as elongated arms of slime turned ‘muscular’, and bits of azure congealed into crystalline hunks across shoulders and back. Gelatinous flesh still seemed to bubble on the inside, wisps of blueish steam filtering out from the sleek skin.
The Core did not change. It just gazed at Greeve, glowing still:
‘Sometimes… PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN THE CURE!’
Azguard’s not standing by to see people die! For the first time, it activates Bio-Metabolise, tripling its Power Level to 109,881 and begins to charge up Budino di Riso!
KP – 3/3
Might need some guidance on anything combat related here, as it’s my first actual KP Battle! Also, for reference, I kind of imagine this state to resemble a mix of Azguard’s typical look, Luffy’s Gear Fourth (One Piece) and the Rock Slimes from Slime Rancher!
Budino di Riso [N1] “Rice Pudding” Channeling its Ki, Azguard reinforces its gelatinous exterior to create an effective skin of luminous energy, defending itself and those behind it from attacks by absorbing up to 33% of its Power Level per turn charged. Should the barrier be broken by an enemy attack, any excess energy that bleeds through is filtered, halving the damage potential of the attack. This technique somewhat hinders Azguard's flexibility while in use, requiring some degree of concentration on the task at hand.
