"Why do people live around here? It is wayyyyy too hot and sandy," Maxxie said aloud as she jogged through the desert. To her right a few miles away she could make out some kind of settlement. There were a few hills of sand around, but nothing was blocking her vision in that direction. Trying to ignore it for now, she continued forward, trying to get in her daily 5 miles of travel. She would usually be doing them in the east, but she had just gotten done doing a favor for a friend in one of the settlements around her current location, so the warrior decided to just do it near there. The sun was beating down on her hard from above in the clear skies, which is why she was wearing a purple tank top with black bike shorts and black sandals.
Just as Maxxie was getting done with her run, she noticed that there were a significant number of hills around her surrounding area that was about half as tall as her. While distracted by them, she bumped into the hill directly in front of her, falling right on top. After standing back up, she took off quite a bit of sand from the hill, revealing a blue round object. Her interest officially piqued, the human put her hands around the object and attempted to pull it out of the hill with all of her strength, ascending to the skies for further help. After a few seconds, she was successful. She now realized that she was holding what appeared to be a blue metallic humanoid, which must have been an android of some sort, by it's head that oddly didn't have a face. Well, it was blue for the most part. Parts of it's limbs weren't coated with the blue armor that was placed over it, revealing it's black core body. Maxxie was just about to put it down when she heard a sound coming from it that sounded like a computer booting up. Suddenly the robot began shaking rather violently, which to Maxxie meant that it probably wanted her to unhand it, and so she did, letting go of his head. The drop to the ground was only a few feet, so it landed perfectly. Maxxie descended to the floor a meter in front of the machine, looking curious. The first thing she noticed was that this bot was as tall as her, so he must have been in a sitting position while buried.
"You are the one that woke me from my slumber? I suppose that I should be saying thank you, so... thank you" a voice came from the speakers located somewhere on the bot, hidden just like it's camera that it is seeing Maxxie through is. A thing that the female noticed is that this robot had letters and numbers painted blue on it's chest; 'XK 1,' it said.
"No problem. Why were you in rest mode under a hill of sand exactly?" Maxxie asked him. "I am Maxxie by the way," she added. She had her hands on her hips and kept the expression of curiosity on her face. This was interesting, as she hadn't interacted with many robots. Every one she had contact with had a different design and different attitude as programmed by their creators. She had heard of sentient machines though, so maybe this was one of them.
[You have free reign of any NPCs. There are robots under all of those hills surrounding Maxxie and XK 1.]

Kallabash was flying around the desert of western islands. Again, he was pretty bored with all the situation, looking around to do anything new. It was been a time since his spar with his new made friends, which made him feel bored after a couple hours. Earth was an amazing place, but even though it was kinda flat in terms of packed action. He wasn't used to finding too much action whenever he flies through the cities, Mostly the earthlings are having a normal life.
Upon flying over the desert he could see some dunes made around the area. They seemed to be unnatural due to the fact it was oddly organized. Kal shook off this thought of his mind when spotting 2 beings in the middle of it. It was pretty odd that there would be someone that far out in the desert, they maybe were in need of assistance.
Kal decides to descend in the air to get closer. Upon touching his boot on the ground, He could see a female and a...robot? it seemed kinda rusty and "sandy". Shaking that pun out of his head, he would raise his hand in a pacific way, waving it. Hey there miss! I am Kal. Do you need help? Kal tried to be as polite as possible to the girl in front of him and the robot, thing...
Short stuff but at the same time great stuff. I am a bad writer I know ;-;

"I... do not remember. My last recorded event in my memory chip took place two weeks ago, but me and my allies were no where near the desert. We were on a mission in the North," the bot replied to Maxxie.
"Ah, so someone must have deleted some of your memory. Well then, maybe it is best to go back to your creator for answers. By the way, my name is Maxxie. Maxxie Everstone. Yours?" the female asked him while smiling, holding out her right hand towards him, going for a hand shake. the machine accepted, using his own right hand and shaking Maxxie's. He didn't have a face, so his state of emotion couldn't be read. Some robots had them, so the woman wondered if he did.
"I am XK 1, as you can see from the letters and numbers on my chest. Also, about our master. He..." XK 1 was about to continue speaking, but suddenly another person landed on the side of him and Maxxie, coming over to them and introducing himself, asking the lady if she needed any help. Before Maxxie could answer however, XK 1 took it upon himself to 'welcome' the man by walking towards him. Once they were two meters apart, XK 1 pointed his right arm at him and red ki could be seen gathering at the tips of his fingers.
"State your business here or I will have to deal with you. Maxxie, shall I dispose of him? If so, then I will need some backup just in case. Force activation: XK 2 and XK 3," XK 1 said, seeming as though he had activated something with that last sentence, and so he did. As soon as the words came out of his mouth, two machines completely identical to him save for the letters and numbers on their chests (XK 2 and XK 3) popped out of two sand dunes near the three, walking to XK 1 until both of them were on a different side of him, only inches apart. They imitated him, pointing their right hands at the stranger and preparing for what was probably a ki blast. Maxxie suspected that either they didn't have to communicate with each other whatsoever and would just know what to do, or they were communicating in silence, using a device inside of them to do so, like texting. Whatever the case, she had to stop this, so she ran to the middle area of the robots and the male, disappearing and reappearing in her destination, or at least that is what it would seem like to a regular human's eye. Anyone with a bigger power level than Maxxie would be able to trace her. She faced the blue XKs.
"Wait a second. No one will dispose anyone. He isn't hostile yet, so just chill out," Maxxie asked of them, looking concerned. They all looked at each other, then looked back at the human and nodded. Once they dropped their arm and stopped charging an attack, Maxxie turned to the stranger and smiled.
"Sorry about that. I am Maxxie Everstone. What brings you to these parts?" she smiled, holding out her right arm for yet another handshake. Hopefully she didn't make a mistake when asking the bots to stand down. What if this man was dangerous? Well, Maxxie was willing to take that risk, as she considered everyone a potential ally until they proved otherwise.

That was new. While he waited for their responses, Kal was impressed in finding a robot and a woman in the middle of the desert. What could they be doing in such a desolated place like that? He was not sure if she was hurt or not, but they seemed like they could need some help. And Kal would try to help in any way he can because he's a...hero? that's what heroes do, right? help people? That's still a new thing for Kal.
Soon enough the Robot walked towards him. Kal was about to move his left hand to greet the robot, but instead, he was greeted with a robot raising his hand and pointing at Kal, forming an orb of Ki energy, ready to shoot at Kal's face. The robot said that Kal should state his business here. Before he could open his mouth, the robot activated something. the following part was simple: 2 androids raise from their sandy graves and walk towards Kal, also pointing their fingers and preparing to shoot a three-way ki blast. It was this moment that Kal knew... He was screwed.
That's what Kal's thought before the woman reaction. She simply moved to get in front of the robots, acting as a meat shield. She talked with then and made to sure to point out that Kal isn't a threat...yet. wait, what?
This seemed to work, they dropped their arms and stood there, looking at both of then. The girl then turned around and smiled, holding her right arm for a handshake. Kal also smiled, also lifting his left arm and handshaking this mysterious person in front of him. She asked about what he was doing here, it was time for Kal to shine.
I am just walking around, trying to be more familiarized with everything here. I also love searching for adventures and thought that the desert could give me some. He finished, looking at her with a serene tone. How about you? What makes a Lady like you walk around in this desert? Kal finished, still to maintain that type of educated being.
And Kal called her a lady. prepared to get hit in the face heh.

"Ah, finding adventure in the desert? Well, there was that time I found a hidden passage around here, but I forgot where, ha. Maybe you can find it soon, or something even better. I didn't think I would find these bots around here after all. I suppose this area really is a gold mine for exploration," Maxxie started rambling, but then blushed and decided to stop, as she felt like she was embarrassing herself. "Anyway, I was here because I had to deliver a package to a town near here, decided to do my daily jog, then found these robots hidden in the sand dunes. I bet some more of them are under the rest," Maxxie added, looking back at XK 1. Once he understood that she was indirectly asking him if he had anymore bots with him, he nodded.
"Affirmative. There are dozens of us here, as my senses have picked up. Our creator is a quite handy engineer that likes building machines, so most of his free time is spent doing so. Seeing as how we are his money makers, it is in his best interest to make us anyway," the droid answered.
"Money makers? What do you guys do for him?" the woman asked, being curious, as she was naturally so.
"Well, our brand line operates as combat mercenaries, traveling the earth looking for work," he replied. Maxxie smiled at that.
"Oh, I sort of do that same thing, except instead of getting paid in cash, I get paid in favors. I use tournaments for cash," Maxxie told him. "Hmmm, what do you do for work, sir? If you don't mind me asking of course. Also, what is your name?" the fighter turned to the stranger, asking him personal questions that she hoped he was comfortable with. Maxxie always was direct, not beating around the bushes unless she had to. Something told her that this man wasn't someone she needed to be weary about however.

Kal just listens close asthe girl rambled about the adventures that can be found in the desert. talked about how she found those robots laying around in some sand dunes and how she also found a hidden passage, but no longer remembered it. She then said why she was in the middle of the desert. It seems odd that someone would be doing jog in the desert, but who was Kal to judge?
The next part,however, seemed quite interesting. Those robots are actually mercenaries, built to search for works. It seemed that there were a bunch of then around here. Kal wasn't afraid, rather perplexed that someone would build so many robots and just let then in the middle of nowhere.
It seems your creator like to let you guys hang on the sand of the desert. Kal said, having a closer look in the models of those things. they seemed quite old, peharps they were buried in the sand for at least 2 to 4 years now.
Kal then took notice of Maxxie, she was also a mercenary, but that works by favors. Well, Kal didn't expected that to be a thing. He then noticed that the girl asked what Kal do to living. and also asking for his name, which is odd considering that he already said it. But it didn't hurt say again.
Well, I work in the farm with my family when I am not flying around. And my name is Kallabash, but you can call me Kal miss. Kal replied, putting his hand behind his neck. And I never would expect you to be a mercenary. What kind of jobs you do? Kal asked, trying to take something from this new experience.

"As I told the girl before you got here, we know nothing of what happened before we got shut off and sent here. She brought me back online. Also, a week before this accident, our master left the planet and journeyed to Namek for some work. I cannot get in contact with him however. As we speak I am attempting to speak to him through our built in communication devices, but he will not answer, so either his equipment got destroyed, or..." XK 1 replied to Kal, stopping after realizing that the one who made him might well be dead.
"Don't think about that option. I am sure he is just fine, and will come back to you all soon," Maxxie reassured XK 1, smiling at him.
"Oooooh, a farm? A few years ago I wanted to work in one, dealing with the animals and making my own food, but I grew out of such a dream when I decided to follow a certain goal," Maxxie replied to Kal, balling up her fists in anger, yet keeping a smile on her face. She didn't want to show her bout of rage to any of the people around her. Not until they decided to help her with her goal at least. "As for my mercenary work, what I do is make allies with people. I offer them my assistance, and in turn I ask that they help me when the time comes. You can fly, so you should at least be more powerful than an average human. What say you join in? Anything that you want help with?" Maxxie asked him. "You all too. You are mercenaries, so I would like to pay for your assistance," she added, looking at the bots now.

Kallabash listened to the robot speaking to him. True, they seemed to really care about their master even with him leaving than in the middle of a desert. This was a notable loyalty coming from heartless and unanimated things. This "master" they were talking about seem that kinda of guy that don't see the sunlight or only see it every 15 days or so. As they kept going, Kall noticed that they didn't have a master anymore. Or that's what they would believe if Maxxie didn't step up and acted like a positive person.
He watched Maxxie as she turned to him and talked about how she would love to be a worker on a farm. but then she showed a face of someone that had a better goal in mind. Kal raised his eyebrow in suspicious about that "goal" she was talking about. She kept going on, talking about her mercenary job of allying with people, how she offered assistance and then she would request later on. it was pretty much a 1:1 exchange.
I am glad that you offered me help, but I don't actually need anything at the moment. Kal continued, folding his arms. I am just a farmer when I need make money, but in overall I am an adventurer. Just searching for adventures. And I don't need "assistance" with that. But again, I thank you for the offer. He answered her, denying her request for assistance. Even though she seemed like a good person, he didn't want to have some kind of debt with this unknown woman.
And I am back from my trip! YAY

Maxxie was a little sad that Kallabash didn't accept her offer, but she understood that there could have been many reasons for this, the first big one being that they didn't know each other all too well. Perhaps they could get to know each other gradually then, she thought, smiling at him.
"Alright, that is fine for now," she told him, turning to the robots to hear their answers.
"We would be glad too. Even though our master is MIA, we still need to do our job in hopes that when we find him we will have the zeni that he needs," MK 1 replied, speaking on behalf of all of his comrades. Maxxie smiled, nodding at his answer.
"Well, my run is over and I have somewhere to be at the moment, so I will just give you all my number. You too Kal, in case you change your mind," the woman said, then saying her phone number out loud for everyone to hear. Once that was over with, she would ascend to the sky and head east.

Exiting. This was just a little intro thread I wanted so we could meet up. Our next thread in the future can involve much more plot. I want zeni with the 10% human bonus for this one.

Kall stayed standing there was the convo happened. He watched Maxxie talk with the robots. They seem glad to help Maxxie with her jobs later on, for now, they needed to get zenis for their master. Well, probably they might get enough zenis, or might just get destroyed by some aggressive animal. we never know.
Kall pondered on how they would find their master, though. Sure, the galaxy is giant, probably infinite. How would they work with that? Kal shook this thought of his mind was Maxxie said she needed to get somewhere else. She shouted his phone number and instantly she ascended in sky and head to what it seems the east direction.
Hmph. This was a weird encounter. Kall said, looking at the robots and nodding his head to then. I am also going. I wish you guys luck in finding your Missing master. Farewell. Kal lifted his hand and swayed, telling the robots that he was leaving. They also swayed their hands, with some sand falling from their bodies.
With that, Kall also ascended to the sky and headed to the west, He wanted to look that way anyway, wondering if he will ever find this woman again.
Thread Exit, I would like some zenis.
