Articho stretched his arms across his chest as he stood at the edge of King Kai’s planet. After six months of training in Heaven, it was time for him to go home. Back to his friends and family and to finally claim the title of Turtle Hermit. He inhaled in a long, deep breath before looking over his shoulder at King Kai’s house and waving. “Thanks for everything, King Kai! I’ll be sure to work on my sense of humor for you!” he shouted before jumping down to Snake Way. He took off down the winding road. A wide smile was on his face as he leapt over each of the turns, blasting back the hands that would reach out for him from the clouds. The young hybrid couldn’t care about that; he was just too excited. His travel time was easily halved and not long after, the entrance to the winding, stone road appeared. Articho’s grin grew wider as he jumped up and propelled himself in flip off of the top of the snake’s head. He saw Styx standing at the entrance and looking up with him with a confused look on her face.
“Later, Styx!” Articho shouted down at her with a wave.
A confused look crossed the ogre’s face, “Later? Where are you going?”
“I’m going home!” he answered, landing back on the ground and continuing his run towards King Yemma’s office. “If you see Aides, punch him in the face for me!” he shouted over his shoulder as Styx shrank into the distance. It didn’t take much longer for Articho to reach the door to the large castle where Yemma judged departed souls. He burst through the door, startling the ogre standing by it, and leapt up onto the top of Yemma’s desk.
“Hey, King Yemma! Long time, no see!” he said excitedly. “I’ve got enough Shoki to revive now! Think you could help me out a bit?” He was being decidedly rude with his behavior and deep down, Articho knew that he was. But he didn’t really care. He was just ready to get home.
