Two blades of silver flew through the air, burying themselves in two fish that had leaped out of the water. The woman’s emerald eyes were shut, but her tiny knives still flew threw the air. Three more fish were impaled, before the woman finally opened her eyes. Her brow was furrowed and the look of concentration filled her eyes, as she made a small motion and sent the fish-laden knives to the shore. The silver blades vanished, dropping the fish onto the shore. Wading out of the deep water, the woman picked up her towel and began drying off her long brown hair. Tossing the damp towel onto the shore, the woman began tying her long hair back. Satisfied, she began putting her clothing back on, starting with her weights. After finishing filleting the fish, the young woman looked at the new clearing she had made. Running into the short, ugly man had been enough to ruin her old place, so the change of scenery and comfort was nice. The hill next to the waterfall had been carved inwards by her blades, in order to make a small place to rest in. The waterfall was nice for training, along with the huge pond it poured into. The water was a great source of food, along with the surrounding bamboo forest. Creating two blades, she collided both together in a shower of sparks, creating enough heat to ignite the tinder for her small fire. Sitting next to it, the woman began arranging the fish on sticks around the fire. A sudden twinge of excitement coursed through the women, before she glanced back towards the thick bamboo forest behind her. A burning aura, something she recognized, was flaring up in the distance, probably the edge of the forest. The woman closed her eyes, letting her power surge up in its own way. He’ll find his way here. If he can’t, he doesn’t need that rematch. A soft smile crossed the woman’s face, as her katana from the last time they’d met materialized, falling against her leg in the same sheath. It was a lighter silver than before, but that was barely detectable. Levlidian

It had been some time since Levlidian had vacated this very area where he'd me the energy he sensed for the first time, things had been very different back then and he'd been a very different man. Parting the thick bamboo he happened across the figure he sought, a single black eye locking onto her and his kimono like gi fluttered awkwardly as he'd step on through. The beast carried the smallest signature he could muster but it burned all the same, each stride of his heavy black boots drew him through the shadows of the foliage finally exposing his milky white ye to the sun. More scars littered him, burns operated about his right arm and his chest whilst his demeanor some how felt, more so solid, confidence radiated off of him as much as a blaze might.
"Tulip, s'been only a little while, but here you are," Levlidian was bandaged about his forearms beneath his fingerless gloves and yet seemed uninjured despite the physical changes. he was thinner, built more so like a speed combatant than a power one; though it was a fools errand to judge him as powerless. On wards he strode drawing beside the fish preparing female and gazing into the waters whilst he'd settle himself down beside her. "How#ve you been?" he inquired without peering to her, being careful only to expose the still living orb unto her. since Tomo's response to it he'd been paranoid to show any one else for fear of a negative reaction. Why? Well, not a soul in this world appreciates judgement.

The woman heard the rustling of leaves, as her eyes stared forlornly into the flames in front of her. She could sense the power he was suppressing, feel the power burning deep within his body. Even if he suppressed it with all of his ability, there would always be that burning passion buried deep within. She didn’t bother glancing back as she heard his solid footsteps. Turning the cooking fish in front of her, the young hybrid listened as the man spoke. “Tulip, s’been only a little while, but here you are!” Finally looking back at the woman, the first thing she noticed was his frame had slimmed down. He was still cut a strong figure, despite the shift from bulky muscles with instant power to a more persistent strength of lean muscle. She could sense the air around the man was different. He held himself in a different way, favoring one foot over the other. His body, despite the smile and confident smile he wore, had a weary edge to it that the woman could sense faintly in the ear. Her emerald eyes widened slightly in shock and realization, before the woman relaxed and smiled sadly. Reaching up with one hand, she wiped the slight moisture from the corners of her eyes and listened as the man spoke again. “How’ve you been? I was on my way from seeing young Tomoyo in the desert. The kids as naive as ever, but I’m happy to see he remains innocent in a way.” Smiling slightly, the young woman leaned back away from the fire, looking up towards the blue sky. Reaching up with one hand, she licked her lips softly, trying to form the thoughts resting on her tongue into words to say. Finally deciding on the way to respond, the young woman slumped to one side, landing on the man’s arm with her head and shoulder. Closing her eyes, the woman muttered. “This is how we parted ways, right? I can sense the tension in your Ki; what else happened after we parted ways, Levlidian?” Her green eyes looked up towards Levlidian’s black gaze, searching for an answer. Reaching one hand forward, she spoke again. “Since we split up last, I learned the trick to flying and picked up a nifty ability. All thanks to that innocent kiddo we call a comrade.” Five small, oriental daggers created themselves in the air, before all flew into the water and reemerged with fish impaled on the blades. All dispersed, dropping the fish onto the shore. The woman pushed away from the huge man slowly, before walking over to secure the fish. She began filleting the fish quickly and efficiently, refusing to turn around until the man answered her heartfelt question.

Levlidian smiled to her show, the blades seemed expertly crafted and well controlled as they were escorted by her ki, turning his head to where she rested the young Saiyan raised his free hand to place it upon her head and gently ruffle her hair. "You're getting good, so you've learnt to fly as well?" the grin turned into a jesters smirk; "So I don't have to remain on the ground in order to fight you now, good, that gets dull after a while trust me," Tulip had already moved away as he applied the hair rustle he probably interfered with the work on the fish a tad but soon he lay upon the grass betraying a grunt with the effort.
"As for your question," he fell silent for a moment, shaping the next string of words deep inside his mind, "I crossed the wrong people, someone I cared for got hurt in the crossfire and I killed them all; their leader finally returned and sought me out. We fought, I won but he stole my eye from me before I could end it," a meek shrug followed and inhaling deeply, the beast focused upon the branches above him. It had always been a beautiful place to visit, these forests, he wa going to miss them when his journey took him to Namek for a while. "You trained with the midget?" he asked, his tone mocking, "Did he put up a good fight or was it passive training to learn how to fly?" ease came about him, the tension lifted and his lean frame softened against the thick grass; far too relaxing around here, he thought. Even in the best of times Lev' rarely relaxed unless he had a good book and four walls, "Though, why blades?"

As his rough fingers ruffled the woman’s brow hair, she smiled softly. Setting the fish onto a rock next to the fire, the woman looked back towards the man. He’d already started laying down as he began speaking. “You’re getting good. So you’ve learned to fly as well?” The smile turned into a smirk as the man finished laying back on the ground. “So I don’t have to remain on the ground in order to fight you now? Good, that gets dull after a while, trust me.” A silence fell across the clearing, as the man seemed to fall into thought. A mixture of emotion crossed the man’s face, before he finally spoke. “As for your question, I crossed the wrong people, someone I cared for got hurt in the crossfire, and I killed them all. Their leader finally returned and sought me out. We fought; I won, but he stole my eye from me before I could end it.” The man shrugged his broad shoulders and stared up at the forest and sky overhead. A look of melancholy filled his gaze, though the woman knew now that only one of his eyes could see the beauty of the world around them. A smile returned to his lips, as he looked towards the woman. “You trained with the midget?” There was a mocking edge to his voice, as the man continued. “Did he put up a good fight or was it passive training to learn how to fly?” Finally relaxing, the man laid back into the grass as the tension in the air was lifted. A strange look filled the man’s face, before he spoke again, breaking the silence. “Though, why blades?” It was Tulip’s turn to almost drop the food in the fire, as her grip on the sticks holding the cooked fish slipped. Her gaze turned worried, before finally relaxing. The woman leaned back, holding three cooked fish out towards Levlidian. Smiling at the huge saiyan, the woman spoke softly. “It wasn’t a choice that was mine to make. It was either me or Tomoyo, and I couldn’t let the boy be possessed by the spirit.” Her voice almost cracked at the end, as the woman smiled halfway. Her normally vibrant grin and glittering emerald gaze was visibly dampened, as the woman waited for the man to take the food. She took a slow breath and continued speaking. “That sword I had when I trained with you all those weeks ago, it was an old relic that had something sealed inside. Something that wasn’t intended to be released for all of eternity, I’m guessing. When I used the blade to stop mine and the kiddo’s descent towards death, the blade snapped and released whatever had been trapped inside. It needed a new vessel, something to feed off of. Before it could go into Tomoyo, I forced it inside of me. It rewrote my ki network, which hilariously enough gave me the ability to grasp flying in only a few moments. It also taught me other techniques, though many I can’t even fathom with my current strength. Unfortunately...I lost some of my other talents from before.” Setting the fish sticks in her opposite hand onto her knee, the young woman thrust her hand out. Silver energy began crackling down her hand, before changing into a sword that the woman caught. With a growl of irritation, the woman threw the blade into the lake, where it exploded in a flash of silver energy. Tears were beginning to fill the woman’s eyes, created through frustration and anger. “I...can’t manifest my ki like I did before. Most of my strongest techniques no longer work, manifesting as powerful blades that I can strike with. I’ve found ways to prevent myself from hurting people in battle, but its not the same. Not anymore.” The sticks Tulip was holding out towards Levlidian trembled slightly, proof of the stress and anger the woman was barely able to suppress.

The young Saiyan rose from his resting place to take the fish but he paused, silence fell on his part as he listened to the explanation and his singular eye widened to the emotion bled from tulip as if she bore an open wound. Truly, she was a good soul at heart, such sadness towards the loss of being able to defeat an enemy without killing; he'd forgotten that not many carried the world as some fighters he knew. reaching just beyond the stick he'd seek place his finger tips about her knuckles in a soothing manner and smile. "Every sword has a blunt edge, Tulip, you can easily turn one into a baton instead of a blade. You could even transfer it into a physical attack just like your punches. It just takes practice," from her hand he took the fish and took a bite.
As he chewed, it dawned on him that he was ravenous but he paused to swallow, then continue; "You can also turn Ki ethereal, reduce the plasma back into a gas and use it to paralyse instead of kill," there it was, his logical and scientific mind reaching from the abyss of his physical fighters coffin. "Just because something has been altered doesn't mean you can't change it back. One day, you'll figure it out but just hang in there,". Another bite came soon after and a slow smile bloomed, it was amusing to think he was giving advice on killing. A Saiyan consoling a Human on their blood lust and changes that didn't meet their liking. "Your power might not be the same but your will remains the same and that is what manipulates your power, not some Ghost,"
Shifting closer, Levlidian paused beside Tulip and arched his head to gaze into her eyes with his own, singular orb of obsidian, "No sense getting upset. have your moment but then bury it. The only way to find something that is truth or lie is to move forward right?" A shrug followed whilst the Saiyan sat back to enjoy his meal. "Too many of us worry so very much about the past that the future sweeps beneath us and steals something valuable, don't get caught out like I did," the last delivery in his sentence came with a bitter after thought. Gazing into the waters below a look of detestment followed for who looked back; he finally reflected how he felt inside, trapped between the good and the bad.

Tulip watched as the man took the fish, finally getting a glimpse of his blind eye. A single scar ran down across his eyelid, clearly too deep to not have damaged the eye. Rocking back to sit next to the man, she began chewing her fish and listening to him talk. He reached one hand out, grabbing her open hand and massaging her knuckles. Startled slightly by the sudden gesture, the woman slightly blushed and let the man continue with the motion. The huge Saiyan finally began speaking.
“Every sword has a blunt edge. Tulip. You can easily turn one into a baton instead of a blade. You could even transfer it into a physical attack, just like your punches. All it takes is practice.”
Lifting the fish to his mouth, he began eating the fish. He chewed the meat slowly before swallowing. Does it taste good? I hope so. The man continued speaking again.
“You can also turn Ki ethereal, reduce the plasma back into a gas and use it to paralyze instead of kill. Just because something has been altered doesn’t mean you can’t change it back. One day, you’ll figure it out...but just hang in there.”
He took another bite and grinned. So, he does like it. It wasn’t too burned, which I can be proud of. Swallowing the food, the Saiyan warrior continued. “Your power might not be the same, but your will remains the same; and that is what manipulates your power, not some ghost.”
The woman continued pondering the magnitude of what the man was saying, slowly eating her fish. The man shifted closer and leaned forward, gaining her attention. She looked up and locked eyes with the man, her emerald gaze mirrored in his single, obsidian eye.
“No sense in getting upset. Have your moment but then bury it. The only way to find if something is a truth or lie is to move forward, right?” The man shrugged and leaned back to finish his fish. “Too many of us worry so much about the past that the future sweeps past us and steals something valuable. Don’t get caught up like I did.” His voice was full of bitter spite, as he looked out towards the pond. His gaze fell, full of distaste at the reflection he saw.
Tulip finished the fish she was eating and set the others next to the man, Arranging the others to dry next to the fire, the woman laid out next to the man, staring up at the sky. His words had a weight to it, something that really rang home with the woman. Thrusting one hand heavenwards, the woman stared up into the blue expanse of the heavens and finally smiled. A single tear rolled down the side of her face, before falling to the earth where it vanished into the soil. Sitting up, the woman wiped her face with her arm. Looking across at the man, the young hybrid frowned and spoke ruly.
“You know, for a guy chowing down on something a maiden so carefully prepared, you certainly are quiet.” She grinned mischievously and sat back, before continuing to speak. “Your words really helped, Levlidian. I was worried how you of all people would respond. During our battles, when our fists would collide, there was a special bond we shared, something no one else could appreciate during that fierce trade of blows. When I gained this new ability, I feared it would completely sever that bond. I figured out the flat edge of the blade trick a few days back, on top of creating this sword.”
A katana materialized, which the woman grabbed. Holding it out towards Levlidian, the woman tilted the blade so he could see that the curved, cutting edge of the sword was actually blunted. A training sword, not intended for killing but only honing one’s arts. The woman let the blade disappear in a flash of silver ki that dispersed into nothing. She stared at the open air, before speaking again.
“I think I’m going to focus on making this my talent, Lev. Everyone I’ve met up till now had a dream, something they were striving to obtain with every fiber of their being. My dream until now has always been something so distant, so hard to grasp that it was almost enough to crush me. It was a petty dream that a young girl dreamt up while pursuing something that had been missing her entire life. But, with this ability, I have something I can be proud of, something I can master and make completely my own.” Tulip’s eyes finally glittered in the dim light of the clearing, as she spoke proudly. She turned towards Levlidian and grinned widely at the huge warrior. “You’re not afraid of blades, right? Otherwise I’ll be really depressed I’ve lost a comrade and sparring partner. Who knows, maybe our battle will trigger my old abilities once more?”

"I'll talk when I'm done eating," came his muffled response with a mouthful of fish, the demeanour of his being had shifted to something more positive, it seemed to shift with Tulip's as if she held an unforeseen sway upon the emotion he derived from the scene. Indeed, a person could alter Levlidian's emotional state quite easily, being an emphatic and a passionate being. The deliverance of her positive manner made him smile, a blooming essence of mischievous warmth. "You are?" he noted the quip of drive in her vocalisation of wanting to focus on blades. "You're a sharp woman, usually my ideas are the ones that set the standard but seemingly you beat me to the punch," he chuckled at his small joke. "Honestly, I'm glad, you've been pushing for so long it's about time I saw a positive road ahead of you. Though-,"
Slowly, the Saiyan placed down the bone ridden stick and fixed a different glare upon his sparring partner, "Why would you assume I thought so little of you? We're all unique, I don't care about your style so long as you can fight. Sure, we shared a bond but it's not as shallow as that, we're friends and we're alike in some ways," Exhaling loudly and patting the abdomen of his located beneath crumpled, dark cloth, "That was good, it's good to see you've not lost your womanly skills in the cooking department," the grin donned again but mocked that of an extended jesters. "I'm kidding, clearly,"
"I'm happy you found your way through a bad situation, in honesty I wasn't worried. I had faith in you even if you did freak out the last time we fought; when you triggered my temper," a foul grimace forged, "I think, something inside me is clawing to find its way out. It'd the only explanation toward these more frequent rage bursts,". How many times was it now? Three, four, it was getting ridiculous just how much power he pumped into himself over the smallest thing. Yet, here and now he refused to endulge any more information on it and stretched his lean form, cracking the joints in turn.
"You always seem to get a little teary as you remember something or realise something positive, why is that Tulip? Has life been so terrible thus far?" another blunt question, one he meant to pose to a number of acquaintances and friends. The recent elaboration of fates ever wreaking fibres had left him so very bitter. The issue was, this bitterness was growing and deep down he could feel that resentment towards the older him, after all lev' was a hypocrite, venting elaborations of moving forward and burning ones past. In truth, his past weighed him down and in time this would manifest as his families greatest curse.

“I’ll talk when I’m done eating.” Came the muffled reply of the huge Saiyan, before he finished swallowing the mouthful of fish. His gaze fell on the woman, as a broad smile blossomed on his face. “You are? You’re a sharp woman; usually my ideas are the ones that set the standards, but seemingly you beat me to the punch.” The man chuckled softly at his clever wordplay, before continuing to speak while staring at the fish-stick in his hand. “Honestly, I’m glad. You’ve been pushing for so long, it’s about time I saw a positive road ahead of you.”
The man set the empty stick and bones down and fixed an icy glare on Tulip. He began sincerely asking the woman if she thought so little of the man that their bond would break with something so simple as a change in weapons? He continued speaking, as the woman blushed in embarrassment. Finally finishing his lecture, the man exhaled and patted his stomach. “That was good; it’s good to see you’ve not lost your womanly skills in the cooking department.” Despite the devilish grin that filled his face, belying his attempt at a joke at Tulip’s expense, the woman grinned happily. You don’t know how many meals I’ve burned to date, Levlidian~! He sighed, still grinning. “I’m just kidding, clearly.” Then a grimace formed on the man’s face, as he began speaking his heart. He’d worried for a moment at her declarations, explaining that there had been a moment she had ‘lost it’ during their last training. What does he mean, I freaked out? I can’t recall that moment to save my life? A sudden twinge of pain made the woman wince as she tried to recall it, then she returned her attention the man. Something about a burning deep within, threatening to claw its way out. The woman listened silently, as he mentioned the frequency of his rage bursts. The look of concern on his face worried the woman, but she forced a smile and reached out to massage his broad leg with a compassionate smile on her face.
Then the Saiyan leaned back and began stretching. His voice broke the silence once more, voice soft but firm in the clear air. “You always seem to get a little teary as you remember something or realise something positive. Why is that, Tulip? Has life been so terrible, thus far?”
Tulip sighed before leaning back as well. Stretching one arm way above her head, the woman looked up into the sky and began speaking. “Terrible? No, if anything, my life has been far too blessed. After meeting so many warriors with such terrible pasts, such hardships, my own problems seem as insignificant as a small scrape. My parents loved me...well, my mother did. She did everything in her power to raise me right, turn me into a wonderful little girl who would make some lucky man the perfect wife. My father was a legendary fighter on my planet, someone my mother loved very much. He willingly left our planet to go with the SSE, to finish out my mother’s contract with their military. What happened to him is a mystery to me, but I still hold a hope deep inside my heart that he’s still alive out there, fighting hard to protect the memories of his family within. I tried to emulate the legends of my father, training myself fiercely as a child in order to chase after his shadow. It was like pursuing a shadow that always got further and further every step I took forward. The world is vast, and the strength of those around me always got stronger and stronger...so much that I felt at times that it was impossible for a person like me to ever become a true warrior. When Saiyans landed on my planet, I fought against one scout, and got beaten so horribly that I almost died. It was then I realized that my planet, my home, was only a crutch holding me back. I told my mother I needed to see the world, see the galaxy, find the strength that existed on other planets. She gave me her blessing, on the condition I wouldn’t die and return someday, stronger than anyone else in order to defend her and the planet we loved from danger, much like the man I call father.” Tulip’s eyes were beginning to tear up, before the woman reached up with one arm and wiped them clear. Then she smiled at the bigger man and muttered in a choked-up tone. “Look at me, already getting emotional just like you said. I guess it’s just a part of me that feels is broken or something, making me overreact at the smallest things. I’m glad I made it to Earth; I feel like it’s the best place for me to master myself and become stronger. If I hadn’t come here, I wouldn’t have met you and my other peers I call comrades and friends.” Sighing, the woman laid back on the dirt and waited for the man’s response to her sudden outburst.

"Hm, it takes all sorts," he laughed and tilted his head back to the grass peering into the blue'ness of the skies, he felt a twinge of guilt as she spoke lovingly of her Father. He'd been a great warrior for the Solar Empire, biting down on his lower lip he'd soon fend it away and turn his head to face her. "You're well on your way, though do you intend to join the Solar Empire as he did?". The question carried a hidden meaning, Levlidian's ultimate goal was tied in with that group. In truth he saw them as nothing but Tyrants, monsters that ruined everything they touched in favour of aggressive expansion and war, as he contemplated this he darted his dark eye free of Tulip. "My Father was part of the Solar Empire, as was my brother," a small grin appeared, "They were both giant assholes, I'm quite happy to find a fighter without a dark backdrop behind them. You're a one in a million Tulip,"
"I began my life by taking one, my Super Saiiyan Mother died giving birth to me. My Father loathed me for it, he hid it behind a will to see me replace my Mother as our families prodigy. After a while, I fought back and freed myself. of course, my brother followed me under orders from Father; here I am, free at last," There was an enormous chunk skipped from the story but it bit at his heart. This wasn't nonsensical pain but a deep set blade that rose into his ventricles, even the Saiyan's dark eye softened and he allowed a broad grin to emerge, "Though that's a depressing story that lead me here, I've met some incredible people and fought some tough spars here; I'm happy my life lead this way,"
In part, this was a lie, if he hadn't rebelled, perhaps if he'd been a good son and excelled as his Father wished he'd never have had to do what he did. With a shake of his mane, Lev' sat up and blinked back, swallowing his emotions and rising. Removing his attire down to his dark shorts worn beneath his Gi, scars were laid bare, dozens including the mark of a traitor drawn into his abdomen, SSE worn in as a bright pink reminder. Striding to the waters edge, he began to step in and investigate the waters edge for more fish. Not a word was shared but really, it was an excuse to step away from that moment, it was an excuse to ignore his shame and focus on something neutral.
"Hm, wonder if I can catch them with my hands," he called to Tulip with a broad smile.

“Hm, it takes all sorts.” The man laughed as he laid back in the grass and gazed upwards. There was a short pause, before the man shifted to face the young woman. “You’re well on your way; though, do you intend to join the Solar Empire as he did?” The look on his face was one of honed interest; something lay in the back of that gaze, a testing, gauging look that held a weight that unnerved the woman. The man spoke finally, a small grin crossing his lips. “My father was a part of the Solar Empire, as was my brother. They were both giant assholes. I’m quite happy to find a fighter without a dark backdrop behind them. You’re a one in a million, Tulip.” A thoughtful look filled the man’s eyes as he continued speaking “I began my life by taking one; my Super Saiyan mother died giving birth to me. My father loathed me for it. He hid it behind a will to see me replace my mother as our family’s prodigy. Of course, my brother followed me under orders from Father; here I am, free at last.” Tulip didn’t mention the huge gap left in the tale; she hadn’t seen Levlidian with another Saiyan male, especially not an older warrior. The woman’s eyes became softer as she realized the unspoken blade behind those words. This man had severed ties with his family, living for himself to escape the pain of the past or live to embrace the hope of the future. She could see the slight pain in his eyes, before the man grinned broadly and his eyes brightened. “Though that’s a depressing story that lead me here, I’ve met some incredible people and fought some tough spars here. I’m happy my life led this way.”
Shaking his head firmly, the man sat up, looking over the pond. The woman didn’t speak, as the man began undressing slowly. She saw the scars lining his body, and her hand subconsciously dropped to the scar marking her stomach. She recalled the pain of the wound and the face of the man she needed to meet again one day. A certain mark stood out, one that didn’t look like an injury from battle. It was a brand, one the woman didn’t recognize. Is that...a memento of the painful past Levlidian spoke of? She was drawn from the distraction as the man waded into the water, looking outwards into the huge pond. Looking back over his shoulder, the man called out with a broad grin. “Hm, wonder if I can catch them with my hands!” “How about I interest you in something a little more exciting than fishing?” The woman finally spoke up, a small smile crossing her face. Running a hand through her brown hair, the young hybrid composed herself and began pulling off her jacket. Leaving her white tanktop on, the woman walked across the clearing to the far side. Taking a deep breath, Tulip spoke. “Seeing as how we just finished supper, how about we get some exercise in to help the food settle?” Thrusting her arm out to the side with her hand open, a katana formed in the air from a flash of silver ki. Grabbing it firmly in her hand, the woman slid her feet apart and lowered her stance. Wrapping her other hand around the sword, she held the blade level with her face with the handle just below her shoulder. A rushing stance, with the ability to shift immediately and counter incoming strikes. The blade was dull, which was obvious even from a distance. A slight smile crossed the woman’s face, as she whispered softly, just loud enough for the Saiyan’s warrior to hear. “And I’m not joining the SSE; Earth and its people are too much fun to just up and leave now. Let’s do this, shall we?”

from where he stood, the young Saiyan hadn't quite noticed Tulip eyeing both his and her scars, before him lay wandering fish in which he had his eye on. Ducking into the cool waters, the beast missed his catch and grunted with irritation. Again he tried, missed again, the calm silence about them disrupted by his cried of attack and the loud splashing of water. There had to be a way he could fine tune this, force it to work, though time after time he missed the strike and began to curse; spraying water with a flailing arm.
"This is infuriating," he snorted, hadn't he seen people do this before back on vegeta, they made it seem so simple and yet here he was, failing. The key was precision, perfect silence and the patience of a saint. All of these factors he severely lacked at this point in time whilst he sought to forget the memories he'd conjured. Tulip seemd to be speaking, to begin with he didn't hear her and tried again snarling with further annoyance at missing yet again. Who knew fishing with your hands was going to be so complicated.
The sudden flare of Ki garnered Levlidian's attention whilst he rounded on his heel, power radiate from Tulip and the beast brought fourth his arrogant grin allowing his energy to coil about him within a moments notice. The inferno parted the waves and carved a dome from the waters even as he strode free of the ripple and onto the land before him, matching her energy almost exactly, Levlidian then up took his fighting stance and shifted his wrist about to motion for her to come at him. "Now you're talking my language, Tulip, though come at me. Lets see you begin this fight for once and sharpen that blade of yours; what use is it if there's no element of danger?"

When the saiyan warrior turned and the hybrid saw his arrogant grin, Tulip’s heart skipped a beat. This was what she had been waiting for. His energy flared up, exceeding hers and climbing even higher. A red hue surrounded him, a roaring inferno that sent water upwards and outwards, splitting the water at his feet. Fish fell to the earth at his feet, floundering in the sudden disappearance of their watery abode. Slowly striding onto land, the water returned to the lake as the man paced forward into open. His clothes were already drying, from the sheer amount of heat and energy generated by his aura. Sliding his feet apart, he thrust one hand forward level with his face while pulling the other close to his hip. Forming a claw with the first and a fist with the second, the man motioned for the woman to make her move. The Iron Monolith Style; the dominating fighting stance that I attempted to steal from this powerful man. Let’s see how strong I’ve become. “Now you’re talking my language, Tulip. Let’s see you begin the fight for once and sharpen that blade of yours; what use is it if there’s no element of danger.” He had a point. Releasing her grip on the katana, the woman let the blade disperse into nothing. Taking a deep breath, the young hybrid reached deep within, reactivating the potential deep within. Her power flared up, matching and slightly surpassing the Saiyan warriors. Thrusting her hands forward, the woman shouted loudly. “This...IS MY STRONGEST!” A flash of silver filled the clearing, before fading into nothing. Silver sparks danced around the woman, as she firmly gripped the huge blade she held in both hands. The blade was as long as the woman was tall, and she visibly struggled to hold the huge weapon aloft. Releasing her taut muscles, the blade slammed into the ground hard enough to kick up a cloud of dust. Slamming her palm into the handle of the huge slab of metal, the woman sent it falling towards the man’s position twenty meters away. Stepping to the side then in front of the falling blade, the young woman caught the handle as the flat of the blade landed on her back. Visibly straining to stand, the woman smirked and whispered. “So...take the first turn? I guess I’ll have to work hard this time.” Stepping firmly into the ground, the earth at her feet shattered as the woman hefted the huge blade free of the ground. The tip still touched the earth slightly, as she held the blade on her back with a single hand. The woman almost vanished as she shot forward, using all of her energy to confuse the man about her approach. The blade’s tip drew a crazed pattern on the earth around the man, as the woman’s furious sprint sent dust and earth upwards from the impact of her feet.
Stopping suddenly beside Levlidian, the woman braced her front foot and kicked backwards with her other leg. Her sword was sent upwards in an arc, as her rear foot slammed into the ground and the woman gripped the sword firmly with both fists. The wind generated backwards from the weight and speed of the blade shook the forest for a hundred meters behind the woman as she brought both of her hands over head and down towards the man. The huge sword was slowed by the fact she was swinging the flat edge of the blade at the man, but even with that the slash was almost instantaneous. Block this, Levlidian, if you can!

It was truly a beautiful show to behold, the flurry of silver dancing about the powerfully stance prepared individual sent a chill dancing down his spine, the smile he boasted bloomed further. Debris swam either side of the female and his own chocolate mane swept back with the fury. So much potential, so much power, Levlidian had remembered just how this felt back in the days he carried a weight similar to hers. The beast steadily dug in his heels whilst the molecules about him reacted to his own kinetic manipulation, red dancing strands of plasma courted the dirt and his brow sank with concentration. That sword was immense, it was shockingly over sized, yet there she was carrying it with a minor betrayal of struggles. Steadily, he increased his own power to match hers; but she vanished.
"Damnit," he cursed and glanced after each shimmer of an on coming hero wielding a hell of a lot of blade for such a small creature; "When did she get so fast? wondered the boy Saiyan only to spy movement in his peripheral. "Crap, the Ki he'd managed to garner coursed through his veins. Whilst he'd been preparing himself, Tulip had fluttered from sight and vanished almost instantaneously, this was true skill and she'd gathered it so quickly, how? from the poise of his stance, lev' turned into her swing and produced- his forearm. A deep set crimson hue filled the very irdges of every muscle built into the slim, honed figure.
A boom filled the air, the winds parted either side of him from the sheer force of her attack and the dirt sanctioned at the foot of his heel shattered, debris and dirt swelled into the careering force. Though, there he stood, glowering a bright red and feeding that one good eye into his opponents green, steel settled upon his overhead limb used to block the attack. from the fleh drew a thin, steady stream of blood as though he was cut but his sunken brow betrayed the level of concentration his sheild had stolen from him. "Ugh," his knees quivered beneath the force and a sneer coloured him a darker shade.
"You've become far too fast," he commented, "-and that power, where the hell did you get that from and in such a short time,". The knuckles of his paw cracked with intensity as the youthful Saiyan sought toss the weapon up and away before producing a step forward in unison. Palm open, fingers furled at the mid center as well as his palm; the beast sought strike the woman hard in the sternum to grant himself a moment to recuperate. Even at his level, had he not used -that- technique, fear gripped him that it would have been a devastating blow. behind him trees and bamboo toppled due to the severity of the flustered winds that escaped either side and the dirt carved a perfect cone, the middle behind him almost undisturbed.
"You're a worthy rival, Tulip," should his attack miss or strike, a serious tone bled from him just as it did the first time she'd unlocked her potential, "I'm not going to bother with the warm up this time. Here I come and I hope you have more tricks up your sleeve-" his ki erupting from the cocoon that was his flesh once more; "-because I want you to beat the Super Saiyan out of me, i finally think you might be able to do it,". Lowering his form, courting it into a ball and leaning to the tips of his toes, Lev' levelled the foliage and rubble behind him to career at Tulip seeking to send a flurry of fists to draw more from his exciting new discoveries.

Tulip watched in shock as a clash of silver lightning and sparks filled the air as Levlidian’s red-imbued fist slammed into her huge sword. His feet broke the surface of the earth from the sheer weight of the woman’s attack and his retaliation. No; he didn’t swing. He just caught my blade against his fist?! Tulip’s eyes widened in shock, her emerald gaze locking in on Levlidian’s single obsidian eye. She could see the level of focus in the crease of his brow and the tension in his gaze. A soft groan slipped through his lips, as his knees shook slightly. A sneer crossed his lips as his face became slightly flushed from exertion. A thin trail of blood ran down his arm, from a split in the skin of his hand that was holding back her huge sword. “You’ve become far too fast...and that power, where the hell did you get that from and in such a short time?” The knuckles of his hand cracked audibly as the man thrust upwards. Tulip’s blade was flung upwards as the man stepped forward, almost stepping into the woman. Releasing her grip on the sword, the woman angled her palm inwards. The huge sword that was sailing upwards vanished in a flash, as the woman brought her other arm downwards. A longsword materialized in front of the woman’s chest, as she gripped the handle firmly with her hand and braced the end of the blade with her other hand. His punch was already passing through the blade of the sword, as the woman cursed internally. It wasn’t formed well enough; this is going to hurt. His fist slammed into her sternum, sending the woman stumbling back across the broken ground choking in agony. The broken sword fell from her grasp, turning to silver ki that dispersed as the man spoke again. “You’re a worthy rival, Tulip. I’m not going to bother with the warm-up this time. Here I come, and I hope you have more tricks up your sleeve.” His aura flared up, red ki crackling into the shape of an inferno around the tall man. “Because I want you to beat the Super Saiyan out of me. I finally think you might be able to do it.” The man lowered his form and rocked his body forward, before launching himself at the woman. Thrusting one hand backwards and the other to the side, Tulip materialized two blades. One was a scimitar, clutched in her back hand, while the other was a small dagger. Both crackled with silver ki, as the woman took a deep breath and exhaled, regaining her composure. Spinning both in her grasp, she launched herself up and backwards into the air. Thrusting one foot downward, the giant sword from before was created just under the ball of her toe. Planting her foot on the end of the handle, the woman crouched and launched herself backwards into the air, throwing both blades into the earth at Levlidian’s feet. Both blades continued crackling, before exploding into blasts of dust and earth that surrounded the man with dirt and dust. Landing on the ground just in front of the cloud of the dust, Tulip slammed her fist into the ground, as the tempest of lightning and silver energy began forming between the woman and the giant blade. The sword began glowing a brighter silver, as Tulip’s fist was encased in a silver gauntlet. Her gaze was in the dust, waiting for Levlidian to emerge.
