Such raw power, fevered anger and unrelenting brutality, Levlidian had gone months without a fight like this. Tomoyo had pushed him, pushed him so far he felt that seal about his inner power cracking yet he just couldn't unleash the fury. Even as his opponent announced her desires he simply watched on not in awe but concentration, the single obsidian eye he possessed darting after each shift in muscular alteration. Lowering himself, extending that paw as though a snarling maw belonging to an Alpha Wolf, his left arm drawn tight like that of its rear legs ready to pounce; what ever was coming he needed to act within a moments notice. There was no energy left however, his expulsion of the powerful shield shortened his ability list greatly though had he not, there would be one arm less to take advantage of.
Seemingly, swords and blades were now he flavour and it became a both advantage and disadvantage to the young Saiyan, she now possessed the reach whilst he the accuracy. Two swords drew closer after being flung, each of his boots darted back clear of the piercing motion only for him to notice they were distractions; a silver light filled his form and with a roar of irritation he'd vanish beneath a plume of dust and debris. Damnit, he could sense a great measure of power developing beyond the mists and with a sneer he'd lower himself onto all fours then enclose his eye in the darkness of their caverns.
It had been a while since he'd used this but here it goes, bursting from within the confines of the plume came her opponent, his energy considerably lower yet the roar was nothing but deafening, drawing his fist back, the other extended flat in front of him as though acting as a catapult; he'd twist the entirety of his bastion back winding up for the strike. Throwing the fist forward, the plume gave way to another shape, a second Levlidian tore from the opposite boasting a sadistic grin of defiance as he'd seek draw in on Tulip seeking to act as a simple distraction thus racing between his other self and her if he could allowing the second Lev' to possibly gain the upper hand and strike her hard across the jaw.

Tulip focused all of her rage and ki into further building the crackling silver energy around her fist. The ground broke further, tearing itself apart from the sheer amount of weight the focused energy was creating and the bolts of dancing energy that shot to either side. Her emerald gaze was narrowing as she growled in pain as the energy threatened to tear itself free of her arm. The rampant Ki wanted to revert into a blade, but the woman refused to release her focus and let the energy run wild. Her emerald gaze finally left the tempest of energy destroying the landscape and gazed towards the distant cloud of dust. A trail of sweat ran down her brow, beading on her chin. Her emerald eyes widened in confusion; it had been too long, Levlidian should be making his move at any moment. A sudden chill ran through the woman and she slid her feet apart. Only a few moments had passed, but for the woman and her rival it had been an eternity. Time seemed to slow down, as the woman watched the man explode from the dust with an extremely low stance. She could sense his ki shifting, preparing a new move. Thrusting her free hand forward, the woman grasped the handle of her sword with her free hand. The huge blade barely shifted as the woman watched Levlidian sprint past her. Her emerald gaze widened in shock as a blur appeared from the side. But this eventuality had gone through her mind; after seeing that man utilize the same technique, the hybrid had devised a technique to counter. Her huge blade vanished in a flash of silver, becoming a silver katana. Unlike the first one, this one had a sharp edge that practically cut the air it rested in. As the nearest Levlidian shot forward to strike, the woman lashed out with the blade, with the intention of cutting him in half. Releasing that blade, it vanished in a flash of silver. Planting her feet, the woman spun, instantly changing her stance. Levlidian had made a simple mistake: splitting his strength between two bodies had slowed the man down just enough for the woman to see his movement fully. Before his power completely returned, the woman stepped forward, as the lightning in her fist began shooting outwards and tearing apart the earth on the left and right. Her intent was to slam this fist into the face of the Levlidian that had sprinted past her, effectively ending the match and winning for the first time since they’d met. That...or the consolation prize! The dirt and debris were forced outwards as the woman stepped into the strike, bringing all of her energy and potential into that one, climactic strike.

Levlidian's form retracted at the realisation that his tactic had been thwarted, falling towards that sharp edge, he had no choice but to retract and his alternate self dispersed in a burst of flame as the blade neared him; however, he was faced with a greater threat. In breaking the technique it had suddenly filled him with the entirety of his power all at once, something that forced him to recoil. "No-," her first sank hard into the Saiyan's visage and his body folded like a rag doll behind a solid boom. a sickening gag filled the air and the young Saiyan slid back several feet due to the severity of the attack falling upon his own forehead and grasping his face in agony.
However, this pain soon evolved into rage, was this it? he could feel it again, the golden warrior sat upon the rim of his minds eye. A Golden aura swelled about him, debris began to rumble as his fingers dug into the flesh of his form, "Gah," she'd hit hard, so this was what it was like to be struck by a technique like his. Dirt began to rise, stone cracked and Levlidian's obsidian orb dispersed into the whites of his eye; but it didn't come. Leveling the floor into a crater, con-caving and carving the scene as he would always with such a burst of power.
However, it stopped short, again, as the rage subsided just as quickly as it had come, the beast rested on all fours gasping for air and staring blankly into the dirt. "Damnit," he whispered, "I'm so close-," jaw drawn taught, cracking as the ivory between each lip. Blood began to trail down his upper lip, a broken nose? further strands leaked from beneath a split lip coupled with his blackening eye. However his brow turned inwards as he delivered a power strike to the dirt and began to roar in frustration; "Damnit! Damnit! Damnit!". These strikes became over head pummels cracking and destroying the foliage creating plumes of dust and debris.
"What else do I have to do!" he cried out and finally fell back on all fours, the golden aura dissipated and his mane derailed from it's erect posture, silence fell besides the steady patter of a crimson iqour all too familiar to him. "I want to be a Super Saiyan," he mumbled as though a child deprived of his rightful turn in a game, "I want to be a god damn Super Saiyan already, why is it so easy for everyone else!" further strikes and the beast sat back onto his knees. The pain returned and the one good eye began to seal from the swelling.
The attack hadn't been enough, his power exceeded hers but still it seemed he'd conceded, staring into the blue sky with a look of defeat; the rage had gone. "What else is there to give?" he muttered again as though talking with someone. The wind drew in and slowly the young Saiyan closed both of his eyes to simply bask in it, a lulling air of peace surrounded him whilst burying the frustration and dented pride into the depths of his void, the void home to the inner blaze he'd used so many times to fight that Saiyan blood of his. "You win," came a positive toned utterance from Levlidian and he regarded Tulip finally, "Atta' girl, knew you had it in you," he chuckled.
Pl maxed to: 137,000 to tank the blow, Levlidian loses regardless.

Tulip felt her strike land firmly, muscles absorbing the recoil from the impact. The young Saiyan warrior slid back from the impact. Her emerald orbs widened in shock, before relaxing as the man crumpled forward onto the ground. She slid her feet back, shifting the rubble and ruin underfoot to plant her stance firmly. She watched the man as he grabbed at his face in pain. The young hybrid couldn’t relax, not while the Saiyan warrior was still conscious. His aura suddenly flared up, shifting color from the burning red to a blazing gold. He growled in agony, doubtless from the pain of her successful strike. Dirt and debris began rising into the air, as the ground caved inwards from the sudden rise of energy. Tulip felt fear for the first time in the battle, as his power began increasing exponentially. Then the power leveled, leaving the huge man on all fours in the ruins of the crater gasping for breath. His breath came in gasps, much to the woman’s weary relief. She finally got a look at his injuries; her punch had blackened his eye, bloodied his nose, and split his lip, Suddenly releasing the hands from his face, the man started punching the earth, sending up explosions of dust and debris in his rage. His voice rose in volume enough the woman could clearly hear his shouts of anger. “Dammit! Dammit! Dammit!” The golden aura dissipated and his hair fell back into its ordinary place. Blood dripped from his injuries onto the ground, as the man sat there in regret. The woman finally lowered her fists, letting her silver aura disperse. He was whispering something to himself. A look of pain filled his single eye, before he sat back on his knees. His face was visibly swelling, as the woman walked to the edge of the crater and looked down on the Saiyan male. He closed his eyes and took a slow breath. The woman held hers, until the man spoke. His tone was light but positive, as his gaze finally fell on the woman. “You win. Atta girl, knew you had it in you.” The man started chuckling, as the woman finally let her body relax. Her entire body ached from the strain of fully expending all of her techniques in rapid succession. The woman began laughing as she fell backwards onto the ground. Dust billowed outwards as the woman continued laughing. She finally stopped, and muttered. “I’m sorry I wasn’t enough, Levlidian. But…damn...it feels good to finally win.” Pushing herself up slowly, the woman walked over to the Saiyan warrior and extended a hand to him. She smiled and waited for him to take his grasp. In her emerald gaze was the promise of future matches and battles to come.

Levlidian betrayed a subtle grin and up took her hand dragging himself to a standing position, each of his limbs betrayed a savage creak upon straightening and the beast exhaled loudly. "Well, it's about time you managed it," he chuckled and tentatively tempted the wounds of his visage with his palm; "Damn, you do pack a punch when you want to," came the disgruntled mutter. Adjusting himself, straightening the length of his long Gi, drawing his paw upwards and clapping Tulip boisterously upon the frame of her shoulder; he granted the woman a stout nod. "Keep progressing, I want to go all out the next time we spar," seeking manoeuvre past the Hybrid he'd begin to court the ridges of the crater he'd created and fend for the dirt above deliberately hiding his disappointment at his failure.
"Soon I'm going to be taking flight to another planet," he commented as Lev' adverted to poise at the tip of the concave of dirt and debris, "If you can't find me, assume I've done just that. Though, when i return we need to have another spar like this-," he paused and jabbed a finger in her direction, "-However, i ain't losing the next time,". The blood forging at the corner of his maw began to congeal, it was progressively irritating the man and he asserted to lick it clean. "What do you plan to do, in any case Tulip. Have you begun to use the aspects of a Gravity Chamber, I can't quite remember?"
"As for not being enough- I wouldn't worry. It seems the transformation carries a price just as high as my first, if not higher. It was a long shot that being simply pushed in combat would be enough. Now, I think I need to be pushed into an impossible situation with no way out to achieve it," his brow sank and each hand occupied his hips whilst relaxing into a less stalwart pose, "Such things are rare as it is- bah, is there any fish left?"

The huge man smiled slightly as he took the hybrid’s proffered hand, using the aid to drag himself onto his feet. His body seemed sore, from the way he winced and exhaled deeply. “Well, it’s about time you managed it.” Levlidian chuckled softly, before testing his injuries with a probing hand. He winced before muttering under his breath. “Damn, you do pack a punch when you want to.” Rising to completely stand, the man readjusted his Gi and then patted Tulip firmly on the shoulder. The Saiyan then nodded once firmly. “Keep progressing; I want to go all out next time we spar.” Stepping past Tulip, the large Saiyan warrior began plodding through the shattered earth and dirt towards the lip of the crater. Pausing at the top of the crater, the man spoke. “Soon, I’m going to be taking flight to another planet. If you can’t find me, assume I’ve done just that. Though, when I return, we need to have another spar like this-” He thrust a thumb out towards the ruined landscape and the results of their spar. His back was to Tulip, as the man continued speaking. “However, I ain’t losing the next time. What do you plan to do, in any case, Tulip? Have you begun to use the aspects of a Gravity Chamber; I can’t quite remember?”
“As for not being enough...I wouldn’t worry. It seems the transformation carries a price just as high as my first, if not higher. It was a long shot that being simply pushed in combat would be enough. Now, I think I need to be pushed into an impossible situation with no way out to achieve it.” Resting his hands on his hip, the man’s body relaxed. Tulip started making her way up towards the man, pausing when he spoke again. “Such things are rare as it is...bah, is there any fish left?” The woman smiled as she walked past the man, flicking her arm outwards. Three blades of silver formed in her fingertips. Chucking them into the lake with precision, there were three splashes followed by fish floating to the surface. Pulling her jacket and tank top off, the young woman motioned towards the abandoned fire that had gone out. “Go ahead and relight it; I’ll go get our fish. One last meal for the road; we can discuss the near future over food. Sound good?” Not waiting for Levlidian’s response, the woman pulled her pants off and her boots, before diving into the lake. Swimming out, she grabbed the fish and blades, before sinking into the water. Staring up into blue water, the woman wondered if she should tell Levlidian about the person she had encountered, and the pact she was planning on signing soon. Closing her eyes, the woman spun around and began swimming towards the shore. Jumping out of the water, the woman grabbed her clothes and began walking towards the fire, praying it was lit by the time she made it.

Levlidian took her gesture as more of a hint as to what he should do even before Tulip spoke, adverting on his heel and striding on for the burnt ashes he'd son find himself at the sight. Back into the dark he wandered seeking replacement munition for the dead flames, it weighed on him this failure, time was running low or so he felt, such progression over the last few months had seen the beast procure a number of new abilities. Though now, it had slowed to a crawl, sneering into the bark of wood he'd acquired and peering past it, when had he taken up the stride again? Stood before the fire pit he'd drop unto his knees and easily extend his hand boasting the level of control he'd acquired by igniting it with a flex of his wrist and a splay of his finger tips.
The orange glow returned as a luscious blaze courted the air venting warmth about his body and the young Saiyan settled back onto his rear. Such purity sat in thse flames, an omnipotence in its executed function. It had only been moments, at least to him but Tulip returned wearing only what was needed to swim after their food, however the one eyed Saiyan barely looked up. When had these actions weighed so heavily, why now? a taught jaw saw him allow his fringe to darken the only eye he now owned to betray such a dark persona. "Y'get the fish?" he asked with a joyous skip to his tone.
Hunger had been quick to settle in, typical Saiyan anatomy to vent such rage and require nourishment not moments later and he folded each hand over one another from the limbs courting his raised knees. "You're getting strong at an incredible rate," betraying his observations lessened the weight and made it easier for the animal to bury his darkness, "Have you ceased training at all since we last met?" In the flames, from beneath his chocolate curtain he could see the way the muscles moved, the adequate amount of strength needed for effortless shifts in weight; one fighter admiring the tool of another.
The blaze ignited further casting a greater shadow over the Saiyan boy, he seemed smaller in the way he sat and cursed internally; this depressing shit needed to end before he was tempted to allow it to devout him. "What sorts of things have you been doing to train?"

Tulip was trying to flick the cold water from her hair when she noticed the fire. Strolling up to it, the woman nodded in response to the man’s joyous question. Setting her clothes in a pile next to her, the woman summoned a blade of silver and began expertly carving the fish apart. She only glanced up when she heard Levlidian speak. “You’re getting stronger at an incredible rate. Have you ceased training at all since we last met?” Pausing as she split the fish open and emptied its innards into the flames, the woman sighed. Thinking back on all of the battles she had been in, the fights she had gone through, the training that had almost killed her. A melancholic light filled the woman’s emerald eyes, as she began scaling the fish. Upon finishing, the woman admired her handiwork before sticking the fish onto a stick and hoisting it over the flames. Finally speaking, the woman muttered. “There hasn’t been a day I haven’t trained. I already told you about my dream. It’s the thing that gives me the strength to live on such a distant planet, far from family and friends. On Woatera, I was the strongest. But, coming to Earth made me realize that I’m so much weaker than I ever dreamt possible. So, every day I struggled to become stronger.” She finished carving the second fish and started on the third, pushing the first closer to the man. She glanced up at him, as he spoke again. “What sort of things have you been doing to train?” “Sparring whenever I could, and image-training coupled with ki and muscle training. It’s stressful, but I continue pushing forward. I’ll soon catch up to you, Levlidian.” With those words said, the woman fell silent, watching the fish cook slowly over the flames. A glance revealed the man was slumped forward, a weary exhaustion in his gaze. Tulip bit her lip, before muttering. “Levlidian...if I was to join a group that was against the SSE...would you fight against me, with the intent to kill me? I know you mentioned your family was from there. And that was where my father went...so one day, I may be forced to go there, to try and find the truth.”

It didn't come as a shock to the larger Saiyan but his single eye returned to the flames as Tulip drew up next to him, again he simply listened to her whilst the sounds of meat separating from meat met his ears. It reminded the beast of battle, an odd notion but even in his minds eye he could see the countless spats he'd found himself in over the months, against Demons, Monsters, Saiyans, human each with aspects of their person that pushed him on in every aspect. Though now, it felt like a never ending grinf, he'd uptaken travel seeking the endless reaches of the impossibly large realms that he resided within. It was expert, the way his opponent prepared that animal, swift and precised and it reminded him of words an Elder Saiyan had partaken to draw upon him in order to course on his development as a child; 'all aspects of life improve one thing or another'.
Admittedly, he had no way of applying the acquired knowledge to Tulip without some back ground which he was less than prepared to share, even with his own blood had he hidden the truth of it all. Since moving in with hinawa his aspirations had moved on, the stars now drew his attention and strength was rapidly losing way to intellect, was this the way it went? A naive clutch at something so selfish then wisdom adverted to alter that? Steady crackling came to pass with silence besides the preparation of fish and it was a little longer before Lev' noticed he'd been proposed with a question.
"No," was the simple answer, however with a sigh he'd realised that the answer would birth more questions; he had to handle this carefully which was never his strong suit. A forefinger and thumb drew in on the bridge of the Saiyan's nose where he would pinch and furrow his brow. "I have no love for those bastards," came the bitter addition, "Once I'm strong enough, I'll be destroying them myself and ending all of this needless 'rinse and repeat' history between the Acorsian's and Saiyan's,". A flicker of hatred came to pass within his obsidian orb that drew into view beneath a slither revealing it. "I'll murder them all for the greater good,"
"The Solar Empire did me wrong, it forced me into positions I didn't like and so I'm going to make them pay for that," he blurted out foreseeing the incoming further questions but dancing about the root. Silence fell again and the fire blossomed on, such a divine smell flurrid to the intake of his nose and Levlidian grinned in part, that fish smelt mighty good. "You know you're hardly wearing anything, right?" Barely noticing his own clothing, the beast shifted to lie upon his elbow and straddle the earth upon his aside whilst one hand propped up his head. relaxing was all he could do but he sure could feel those bruises in this position, pain wracked him and yet Lev' ignored it once again, it's soon subside.
Tulip had always been intuitive and yet here she seemed more interested in food preparation, remembering how they'd met and in the way he reclined suddenly the wounds he'd inflicted came to light. Truly, this Half breed had come far, matching the older Saiyan if not in power but passion, no, she out classed him in that field. For Levlidian the passion had begun to die, swallowed by his sin and devoured by self loathing, perhaps it hadn't been so easy to flourish a beautiful lie from the confines of a darker hole. Sooner or later, he'd had to face these demons just to exceed himself and get stronger, a fact he didn't enjoy the premise for at all. Courage was required from such a task, whilst he held a hard head and heated blood of a Saiyan; that kind of courage was hard to barter for let alone acquire. Well shit when did he get so depressing? Damn Earth and it's semi-objective moral compass that it installed within him.
"So, join this 'group' if it helps you," a sneaking suspicion was deducted that she meant Noxa, true enough he was in search of her to ask after, possibly, the safe group but part of him deterred the beast. Though their goals shared the same end, in a way, he was almost sure his path would lead him astray. Why fight one Tyrant only to serve a Platoon dedicated to another? Honestly, he knew even less about the Arcosian Hierachy than he did the Saiyan's and something told him it wouldn't be much different overall. Lowering his hand from the breadth of his face, he continued; "We'll likely be fighting together if you aim for them, if I was so inclined I'd probably ask more for intention of joining the same group, however, I think my way will be different,"
"It'll be darker." he'd add within the confines of his mind, a deep set of focus courting his brow even as he'd regard Tulip with his eyes breaching the shade his fringe would birth. "Arcorsian's though, why, aren't they the opposition for your Father? Wouldn't you, possibly, find your self facing off against a man you liken as your idol?" intrigued by her elaboration, this was the protagonists merit in asking such a deep set question. Again his intellect blossomed without his notice, the ruin that was hi face seldom hurting any longer; perhaps it was the cold breeze. It entwined with the warmth of the fire confusing his muscular form in part but whipping through the bamboo all the same.

The two sat in silence, watching the fire slowly burn and the fish cook. Tulip glanced over at the man, finally noting his scars. Each one doubtless held a story, ranging from the scars rom battle to the one mark that was clearly placed there intentionally by an outside force. Rather than a mark of a warrior...it was more of a tear in the tapestry of a warrior’s soul. The woman bit her lip, trying to form her question. When the man suddenly spoke, the hybrid almost jumped, broken from her stupor. “No.” Levlidian sighed, gaze drifting from the flames. He brought one hand up, pinching the bridge of his nose between two fingers, as he furrowed his brow. “I have no love for those bastards. Once I’m strong enough, I’ll be destroying them myself and ending all of this needless ‘rinse and repeat’ history between the Acrosian’s and Saiyan’s.” Hatred flashed through his eyes, as he muttered. “I’ll murder them all for the greater good.” Tulip’s gaze narrowed as she heard that phrase, greater good. She continued listening to the Saiyan warriors words, but her thoughts were elsewhere. The young woman’s mind drifted back to the message of that pirate captain she had fought in space all those months ago: ”Greater good is such an evil phrase, ya know! Greater good only benefits the victors or those who sit in power! To anyone weaker or less fortunate, that could mean the eradication of their friends, family, and livelihood! Now, kill me, you fucking bitch. Punch me into a bloody pulp for raping that friend of yours; my death will be for the ‘greater good’, after all!” The woman grimaced, despising herself for recalling that memory and sullying her own evening. Her gaze returned to Levlidian, in time to notice the man’s shift in position and savage grin. “You know you’re hardly wearing anything, right?” Tulip frowned, glancing at her pile of clothing. It was still lying in a sloppy pile next to the woman. She glanced at her bandages, before tugging them looser to let the heat from the fire dry the fabric and skin underneath. She scooted closer to the fire, before looking over at the warrior. “Hope you don’t mind the show, Levlidian.” Turning around, the woman pulled the bandages completely off. The weights covering her back and chest were unveiled, which she left on. They would dry fast enough, due to the light material the weights were built into. Pulling off the small shorts she wore, the woman sat in just the weights and underwear opposite Levlidian. Turning to one side, she leaned on her thigh and rested her head on her knee as she clutched the bandages and shorts in one hand. Looking at the large Saiyan warrior as he shifted positions, the woman just sighed. “So, join this group if it helps you.” Back on the question she’d asked before, Levlidian spoke. Tulip guessed that, if the man had been on Earth as long as he’d claimed when they first met, he had encountered the monstrous beauty known as ‘Noxa’. She would leave that out for as long as possible. The woman hated to admit it, but she still knew a vast gap lay between her strength and the power Levlidian wielded. If presented both her potential and Levlidian’s strength, that powerful woman wouldn’t hesitate to pick the tried-and-stronger Saiyan warrior over the weaker woman. Sighing in defeat, the woman looked at her hands. The clothes were already drying quickly, now that they were off the woman’s small frame. The hybrid sighed again, before clenching the clothing in her fist. “We’ll likely be fighting together if you aim for them, if I was also inclined I’d probably ask more for intention of joining the same group. However, I think my way will be different.” Levlidian’s gaze darkened, before he turned his sight towards Tulip. His brow furrowed before he continued speaking. “Arcrosians, though? Why, aren’t they the opposition for your father? Wouldn’t you possibly find yourself facing off against a man you liken as your idol?” The bandages slipped from her fingertips as her hand went limp. Levlidian had just voiced something that struck the woman deeply. She felt her eyes tearing up, as she turned her gaze away from the man. Of course, she feared she might have to face her father. But, even deep than that, was the fear she wouldn’t make it far enough to see that man. If he was dead, she would live on in his honor. But, until the day I either confirm his death or beat him with these hands...I can never stop moving forward. Never. Even if pain, suffering, and agony should beset my every step, I must never stop my movement forward. The woman reached down with her free hand, securing the clothing that had slipped from her hand. Leaning over the fire, the woman secured two stick complete with fish and thrust them out towards the man. She was still holding her gaze downwards; if Levlidian paid attention, the man would notice the tears that fell into the open flames. “Here, buddy. Eat up; it’s the least I can do after hurting your precious face.” Falling back, the woman began rewrapping the bandage around her chest, trying to gather her thoughts and feelings. She spoke as she finished tying the bandages off in the back, voice soft. “I will face against that man, the idol in my life, one day. If that man passed before me, I’ll pursue his shadow until the day I see his name and passing myself. Even if I need to tear apart an entire Empire to do it, I will find the truth.” Her voice, carrying levels of malice and evil that would startle anyone who had met the girl, reached the man over the crackling fire. She pulled on the rest of her clothing and started eating the last remaining fish, waiting for the huge Saiyan’s response.

Tulip's response sparked a taught jaw to elaborate across the length of the beasts complexion and he closed his eye in contemplation, she was still unmarred by the damage war could wrought; unfortunate. The entirety of the extensive conversation itself had taken a much darker turn that even he had anticipated, from within his maw trailed the tip of his tongue whilst they conversed. "I'm not complaining," came his response to the mockery she proposed to his own, still there lay a measure of the wit proficiently found in most their age. No fear was it, or was the prospect of a human form undaunting to her; truly Tulip was of one focus and one alone and combat would shape her empathy into a sharp blade more so useful, something more like apathy. This unnerved Levlidian.
The tenacious action of drying all the attire before him soon saw her Saiyan comrade avert his eyes respectfully and lie entirely upon his back in order to reflect upon the beauty of the night above. Flashes of the blood red sky he was used to back home saw his own notions of the war he'd seen, how his family, up until himself had survived by serving blindly. Was that any way to truly live, serving under another whos views you shared simply to gain your own goals. No, it was ignorance and blissful starvation of freedom, Levlidian abhorred it and yet not a word was uttered in aggression towards Tulips will to follow that path. His hand drew skywards, an outstretched palm seeking the impossible gems that lay set into the sky above, slowly his hand concluded its extension by folding into a meaty boulder.
Ever out of grasp, how poetic, Lev's lips bloomed into a small smile as he contemplated this elaboration a moment. "Maybe you will fight one another," he mused and lowered his arm in order to rise back into a seated position, though what faced him knocked the arrogance out of him better than any fist. Tulip sat before him, form slowly covering in clothing and he was unable to determine much due to her back at first, being unto him. However, that quiver he couldn't simply ignore; one of sadness despite pushing against a wall. This was what it was to be met with familiarity, that fear he'd swallowed before in his own past and butchered to achieve the freedom enjoyed so readily now.
This was not fair, she was crying, adverting to face him as she shared determined words only drew any aspect of converse further from the young Saiyan and he sat there, gobsmacked. Lev' claimed the fish and muttered upon a delicate tone; "forget my face," he'd pressed too hard. Again, lost in the circumference of his own pity he'd dented another simply to look for answers. Was this the right aspect to follow? Seeking clarification for his own choices in the pain of others? "He'll be proud of you regardless,". The words fed from him almost automatically, a rare moment of nurture came to pass and he settled a hand to the mane of Tulip with a soft smile. Blanketing everything, pushing it deep he began to playfully ruffle her hair before removing said hand.
"Any warrior willing to follow what they believe like you do without expending others, a Father could only be proud of; I would be,". Now, following her proposal, the beast adequately acquired a comfortable position then began to devour the fish. A first bite saw him gain knowledge of the taste, hunger over through the beast and the act was soon over. WHilst chewing on the nourishment he'd ponder more beneath a sweeping breeze. Was his blight honestly such a terror, everything he feared sat in the past and he only had future endeavours to look forward to. This woman, she had the hardest choice ahead of her and this fact alone saw Lev' lower the stick to confide in her.
"I killed my Father, I pretend it was righteous, I pretend it was for the good of myself and others-<" exhaling he'd force a smile, "-in truth it was a selfish act made by a selfish child, I failed myself by letting that pain guide me once. Now I'm forever in its grasp, this is why I must stop that Tyranical society; not to save myself but to stop this happening again," a mere shrug followed, "It sounds arrogant and retarded but this is how I see things. So no, I won't join the Arcorsians; not just yet. How do I know I'll not make things worse with a mind like this?" reaching on wards, he'd kneed his knuckles into the Hybrid as she ate, "Important thing is you stick to your guns and don't wind up as bitter as I am; y'hear? Don't make my mistake Tulip. Live for yourself; the past is a selfish creature,"
Noble words, perhaps but Lev' spoke in hypocrisy, reciting an altered state of converse he'd had with others and he too didn't truly believe in it. In truth, selfishness was needed at times but there were lessons that should never be taught. Souls have a way of corrupting words, shaping them in a mind undefined by loss or wisdom to refine it the way it should be. After all, everyone was different and words themselves were lacking to describe what the Saiyan meant. Still, he laughed; "Wow, way to bring down the tone of today huh?" flaring his single eye unto Tulip and allowing an arrogant grin to propose itself, he continued, "tell me about this group, surely you know what you're getting yourself in to?"
It sounded fishy, pun intended, though the way his rival spoke Lev' wasn't sure if the entire endeavour was even worth her effort, siding with a war enveloped side? The Arcosians had a history from producing tyrants, not only that were they any better than the SSE? really? On a moral scale it was probable they were not but Levlidian's own moral scale had dipped at times thanks to his internal rage. A, Saiyan's, as uncomplicated and ever lastingly complex as any beast; a walking paradox if anyone was absolutely honest with themselves. "A question: How do you feel about the Arcorsians, the Saiyans and how much are you aware of similarities?"

Tulip had zoned out after her confession, staring at the ground. She listened as Levlidian explained his past, and the truth behind his ‘settling of issues’. She didn’t know how to express her own emotions, just listening to the man confide in her the same level of pain the woman had experienced. His was born from a parent expecting far too much, while hers was from trying to to reach a parent long gone. He finished by stating that the the woman should pursue her own dreams, that the past was a selfish thing. “I...won’t.” Her words were sincere, as the woman stared into the flames. She adjusted her jacket on her shoulders and finished the bit of fish left on her stick. Tossing it into the flames, the woman looked up at the Saiyan warrior. He laughed softly, eye meeting Tulip’s across the fire. An arrogant smile crossed his face as he spoke. “Wow, way to bring down the tone of today, huh? Tell me about this group, surely you know what you’re getting yourself into.” The woman thought back on the paper. It had a bunch of things about eternal servitude, no turning back in battle, and never betraying the Arcosian Empire. The woman wondered if she could follow everything that paper stated and not ever regret the choices she made. As the woman smiled softly at Levlidian, a small, black speck drifted through her emerald orbs, as the woman muttered softly. “I’m willing to go to any depths to pursue strength.” “A question: how do you feel about the Arcosians, the Saiyans, and how much are you aware of their similarities?” “One race seeks perfection” The woman spoke firmly, gaze falling on the flames, “and the other seeks strength. Both don’t realize that their deepest desire lie in the same ending. But, they’re too far gone in their own conceit to realize that peace would benefit both races, ending their wars and letting them pursue their innermost dreams with the help of one another.” Her gaze fell further, as the woman rose from her sitting position. Her gaze went to the sky, as she turned away from Levlidian. “It’s been an eventful encounter, Levlidian. Thanks for the sparring session. Hopefully we can meet again before you take to the cosmos.” With that, the woman took the sky, a look of frustration written on her face, leaving the Saiyan warrior behind next to the burning fire. He had given her far too much to think about, on top of forcing the woman to face her own, burning issues. Was her dream...selfish?
