Name: Prion (tl;dr: A prion is an infectious agent composed entirely of protein material.)
Alias: Project 3.17b;CCD-NASH;(defective)
Species: Bio-Android (Namekian + Arcosian + Sayan)
Traits:
Gender: Identifies as Male
Age: ~2 Years
Appearance: Seen from a distance one could easily mistake Prion for a regular human dressed in weird green clothing. Its only from a closer distance that all of his unhuman traits become obvious. His skin is of a grayish-brown color with cut-like parts under which a muscle-like surface can be seen. These slits are most prominent on his shoulders, his chest, his face and his back where a group of 8 slits spread out from the center in a wing-like shape. In addition to that there is green chitin growin on the center of his chest, his lower arms and his face. The chitin in his face creates a semi-open mask with two short horns that grow upward from where his eyebrows would be and closes around his whole head otherwise. In between said horns is a big blue jewel-like orb. More of the carapace like material surrounds his hips and legs, giving the illusion of him wearing pants and boots. Another difference to the regular humanoid body are his hands which feature six fingers each, wich the sixt growing, in equal size, next to the middlefinger aswell as small blueish Orbs in the middle of his palms which he uses to absorb biological material.
History: Prions History stared in a dark and cold underground facility on Planet Kabocha. With hard walls of stone and unwelcoming pieces of metal surrounding him Prion spent most of his first time swimming in darkness. Apart from the occasional scientist coming up to the edge of his invisible prison, talking to people outside of Prions sight, he was mostly left to himself and in deep silence. His only interaction happened in regular albeit widely spaced moments when a weird surge of blue light flooded his body with energy and pain. On these occasions he could see more figures floating all around him, each glowing and sparkling with lightning that jumped over their bodies.
For what felt like an eternity he remained in this natural state of captivity, drifting in and out of consciousness and finding new information in his mind whenever he awoke once again. A while passed and his mind was slowly filling with pieces of knowledge about martial arts, the use of ki aswell as general education. One day then, an event unlike any before happened and broke Prions monotone and repititious life.
On this particular day Prion had just fallen into the usual slumber that always occured before new information seeped into his brain when a sudden stab of pain in his neck forced him into consciousness. This pain however, was different to what he was used to in his past, forcing his body into spasmic twitching. Red lights soon flared up all around him and filled his sight with bloody twilight. His eyes jumping from one point to the next he barely noticed the curious yet dead eyes of his fellow prisoners piercing him through the darkness as a horde of scientists stormed into his proximity. They were shouting at each other, talking about a disconnection from the main systems and defective control implants; loud enough for him to notice but in his utterly confused state he could not understand anything besides the world "failure" being thrown around.
While his mind was still trying to comprehend what was happening and what was being said he noticed one of the Scientists moving closer to his glas prison and opening up a piece of console. While his hands moved fast over the extended keyboard he continued talking to the group at his back. Standing close to Prions Cell allowed the hovering Hybrid to hear his comments more clearly this time.
"What a shame, he looked so promising. Prepare to do a complete check-up on the remaining tubes, we cannot afford to loose any more. Also, reset the current combustion process and add this poor thing here. Theres an inspection coming in withhin the next 72 hours and i dont want anybody to witness any faulty combat drones."
He finished what ever it was he had been typing into the console and turned around to his apparent team.
"You there. Start up a new batch, correct the connection process and reduce the size of the insular cortex by 0.77% If i see any more rejects ill make you responsible for it. Nobody needs a custom army of battle-ready hybrids if they cant or, even worse, wont follow orders!"
Walking away from the incubator he slammed his palm down on a button weirdly seperated from the others and after a moment Prion felt himself loosing control over his body as his thoughts drifted off.
When he awoke again he knew immediately that something was wrong. His body felt cold, weirdly dry and heavy. He tried looking around but moving his head seemed impossible. Moments stretched, seconds became minutes and minutes became hours until he finally managed to lift his eyelids and take a look at his surroundings. First he saw only blotches of color. Brown-gray below him, more gray to the sides with flecks of red in the distance. Finally, more gray above him. As his eyes slowly adjusted to the environment he noticed something else, a distant grinding sound as if some heavy object was moving through rough terrain.
It took him the better part of another hour to raise his body fully and win over the nausea that assaulted him almost immediately. All the while the grinding sound had gotten louder and turned into a wet crushing sound. This time however, Prion could clearly see what was the source of the sound. The gray surrounding him proced to be a multitude of bladed plates that were slowly but surely cutting apart the corpses that were covering the floor. Corpses, as Prion immediately noticed, that looked similar to how his fellow prisoners in the tanks had looked. Corpses like he should be.
As the blades came closer, cutting their way through the flesh, his instinct kicked in. Thoughts raced through his mind and without even thinking to deeply about it he focussed energy in his palm and pointed his hand at the closest wall. Red light was coming from in between its metal teeth, throwing is light threateningly across the back of a body. An orb of teal energy appeared before his outstretched palm and after a moment all the energy was released in a roaring beam of cyan energy that seemed to pierce the wall for a moment before exploding violently. Bodyparts and all kinds of liquids splattered against Prion but as he lowered his arms he saw that his attack had been quite effective. A big hole was gaping in the wall, the metal bent aside and busted like a can. The walls to each side stopped moving as soon as they scratched the fragments giving Prion enough time to sprint through the opening and into the unknown on the other side.
The room he entered now seemed to be the engine moving the plates, with machinery filling most of the area. Moving through the narrow spaces inbetween the mighty machines he quickly reached another wall which he opened just as he had opened the previous one. This time the room was by far bigger than the one he had come from with a ceiling that was so high up that Prion could barely make it out. At the ground he found a small orb like pod and, ignoring the alarm horns, quickly entered it. Looking at the assortment of key pads and levers in all sizes he started to press random buttons and pulling levers that seemed somewhat correct with the result that the lights in the cabin went out, then on again then the lights at the outside turned on. In quick succesion his orb dropped to the ground, a loud voice said something about "Insuficcient rights" and the doors opened and closed immediately after. Just when he felt like he might have to find a different way to escape the orb suddenly shook and took off - to the side. His eyes widened as he saw the rocky wall approaching and with a loud bang the exterior hit stone and started scraping alongside it. As he slowly came closer to the top of the room Prion saw that the hatch that seemed to substitute the ceiling was still closed and with a quick move he shot a group of energy bullets towards it, shattering the viewing glass inside of the escape pod in the process but finally succeeding in blasting open an exit into the hatchway. The orb made it through said opening with just a few scratches and started accelerating straight up into the sky. Emergency plates where closing off Prions view of the stars as he raced towards freedom.
When he awoke from his unconsciousness again he found himself in a scorched environment. His pod rested in the middle of a crater and all around him was a vast vista of nothingness. Not knowing where he was he decided to scout the environment.

Roroku-ju [Six Dragon Gun] [N1]:
By focussing his ki ins his palm Prion creates a small orb of energy in front of it. This orb then further channels his ki into a beam that seems to originate from a point just in front of the ball, while the ball acts like a storage for further energy. o< (flavored Ki Beam)

Species: Bio-Android (Namekian + Arcosian + Sayan)
Traits:
Triple Threat | Bio-androids have various characteristics, either emulated or directly inherited from other races. Some examples might include Namekian regeneration, durability, zenkai, or other beneficial traits. These act as 'hybridized' traits, slightly weaker than a pure species would be, but still very useful. Player picks up to three, cannot include Majin. Namekian: Regeneration - Namekians can regenerate wounds and even lost limbs at the cost of some energy. However, they cannot regenerate brain tissue or from decapitation, and more likely than not a powerful attack will still kill you. After one round of concentrating their energies, a Namekian can regenerate their bodies to restore themselves to health, limbs bursting forward from an amputated stub or gaping wounds suddenly healing. Mechanically operates as a Senzu Bean without the KP renewal. Once per fight. Arcosians: Durability - Arcosians are a hardy species, beyond their natural strength they can also take a hit and survive injuries surprisingly well and can live even in the vacuum of space. When activated while receiving an attack, Durability adds a one-time x1 modifier to your defensive PL. Sayans: Zenkai - On taking serious, life-threatening damage in battle those with saiyan blood can gain a zenkai upon recovering from these injuries, which can cause rapid increases in power. |
Absorption | When absorbing for their two major transformations, they may take 33% of their targets base PL (up to 33,000) and add it to their own. Absorbing a player character prior to the requirements of their two major transformations will fill Bio-Metabolize to x8 immediately! If your absorption would boost your Base Power Level to within range of either of your major transformations you'll instead unlock it! (Absorptions may happen mid-thread) |
Bio-Metabolize | An empowered state which can be enhanced through absorption either of other player characters, or by the much less efficient method of spending a technique point on it the Bio-android metabolizing the excess energies into a wicked aura and intense strength, channeling it alongside their natural proficiency. Each use will digest this excess energy and reduce the multiplier back towards it's minimum by -2x, so Bio-androids must use it tactically to secure key objectives. |
Catalyst or Cocoon | At 120,000 PL the Bio-android faces a challenge. Their evolution reaches a biological ceiling, and they must either absorb an enemy to ascend to great new heights, or form into a cocoon and concentrate their energies to progress. The Catalyst option is stronger and faster, but requires two player absorptions.* The Cocoon option is slower and weaker, but no player absorption is required. Whether or not the Catalyst or Cocoon is chosen has an irreversable effect on the Bio-android's overall PL progression, as shown below. *Absorptions for the Catalyst path do not need to be done while at the required Power Level for the transformations. For instance, if you absorb someone while at 5,000 Power Level and do not absorb again until 120,000, then you can still unlock the Semi-Perfect form. |
