Upon realizing there was little risk of a counterattack, Taro eagerly pressed the attack until suddenly Hinawa just seemed to disappear out of Taro's reach in a flurry of snow. The snow sprayed Taro squarely between the eyes. Taro felt a sinking feeling in her stomach. She couldn't see a thing! Her mind raced faster than the movements of her body, and time seemed to slow. Taro anxiously listened for a directional warning from her scouter--an auditory beep that would give Taro some idea of where her opponent had gone to. No beep came. She'd been outfoxed! Taro realized she had no scouter! She'd lost it in a battle prior. In a moment of panic, Taro blindly launched an energy blast in the direction she thought Hinawa would attack from.
It was the wrong direction.
The kitsune slammed into Taro's backside and tackled her to the ground. The duel impact from the tackle, and then the ground jarred Taro and knocked the wind out of her. The rock cracked like ice beneath her from the impressive impact. Still, even as Taro's face met and left the ground, Taro felt a twinge of fear. Her opponent was way more powerful than she initially thought. Furthermore, now the foe could follow up on Taro's exposed backside, and tail! Her thoughts raced. If Hinwana got hold of her tail, the fight would be over before it began. As Taro bounced off the ground, jabbed her elbow behind her, in a desperate bid to gain some distance from her opponent. This blow wasn't measured or calculated, but instead a wild swing. It was sloppy, but last resorts often were.

Bravery isn't the absence of fear. Bravery is the will to act despite feeling fear.
That thought crossed Hinawa's mind as she saw the response from Taro to her attack - it was clearly a frantic attack, but a smart one - to have an opponent in the back was the worst possible spot for them. She could've possibly dodged the elbow jab, but she conceded the hit to Taro, getting flung backwards as it slammed into her stomach - it had enough force to make her spin backwards for a bit before she caught herself and landed on the ground, slamming one hand onto the ice hidden under the snow to slow down the backwards movement. Her claws left deep scratches in the ice, as the Zoanthrope girl, close to the ground again, looked up - a smirk on her face not unlike the one worn by Levlidian.
Watch me, Lev. This is what we both desire, isn't it? Competition. Having fun while fighting. Her eyes looked for the Saiyan for a moment, as she gave him a quick smile. The dance of violence and skill, that's what we crave. Killing, conquest, revenge, justice - we don't need any of those, do we? Sometimes we might desire them, but deep down... THIS is what we are...
Suddenly standing back up to her full height, Hinawa's Ki flared up bright enough to give even those who couldn't sense it a good idea of where she was from the light alone. Small sparks of red encircled the blue, before being consumed by the calm, yet incredibly controlled and massive aura. Moving her hands together in front of her chest as if in prayer, a small spark of blue energy began to crackle between her hands, held in a small distance from each other.
"Give it your all, Taro. Or you won't have time to regret it!"
Hinawa didn't actually plan on killing her, but the fear of death could really draw out a person's latent strength. She knew that from experience.
We are martial artists. Combat is our form of art, victory our ultimate masterpiece, defeat or reason to become greater than ever before!

Pain is weakness leaving the body.. Though Levlidian, his form calming a Hinawa soared through the air and regained her composure toot sweet, easing the grip he'd sustained on the clothing he bore for her; he sighed and tilted his head. It had been true, he'd been here so long the beast had forgotten what it was to be his species. Hinawa seemed to peer at him and about her lips flourished that damn smirk.
He knew it well enough to know something was about to occur, Taro had done some serious work to push Hinawa as far as she had and it was becoming more apparent that she was no grunt. unbeknownst to the young Saiyan male, he was agreeing with the Fox as her aura bloomed, the fire correlated as she prayed and took up poise to attack. This combat was a glory to behold and deep within his bastion pumped ample desire to intervene and yet, he did not relent to it.
This is what we live for, the thrill, the combat, the threat and the competition; thank you for reminding me, little Fox.
Her attack was going to be a magnificent one, its sheer power caused his eyes to widen in anticipation those of which flared to Taro and he waited, waited to see what the response would be and he readied to intervene should he have to. He wanted to see whether she had the same thoughts, the same feelings towards the life of a Martial Artist or whether this Saiyan was just like every other SSE he'd encountered; swallowed by the sense of conquest and desire to be Lords of someone or another. No better than the Tyrants of old.
"Taro, prove to us you're a real Saiyan and no carbon copy like those who usually wear that uniform," he called with a snide grin appearing. The telltale sign that the real levlidian had made a come back, "You either die here or you fight through. It's your call,"

Taro smirked, relieved that her blow connected. She quickly used the momentum and flipped into a string of backwards hand-springs, opening up a gap. With dexterity, she flipped back to her feet. Upon landing, she slid unsteadily in the snow for a few moments. Her arms flailed comically as she fought to regain her balance. She teetered precariously on her back foot before finally managing to find a solid footing. Taro instinctively raised her guard, expecting Hinawa to already press the attack, but that attack didn't come. From behind her full defensive stance, Taro peered at the Kitsune that was now wreathed in fiery ki. As Hinawa powered up to her full power, Taro's seriousness faded. Taro clasped one behind her head and cracked a broad, almost goofy smile. Even though Hinawa's power was exponentially more than Taro could achieve, Taro didn't show much fear. Perhaps it was naive trust, or lack of experience, but Taro trusted that her opponent wasn't the sort to kill anyone--especially after such a good match. Besides, Taro had seen lots of bloodthirsty warriors, but Hinawa just didn't seem the type. "Oh wow!" Taro managed a lighthearted giggle, "You're really strong! I guess I don't need to hold back at all." "Give it your all, Taro. Or you won't have time to regret it!" Hinawa said. "Alright!" Taro pointed her right pointer finger defiantly at her opponent before sinking into a combat stance. Taro's smile shifted into a confident grin. "I wouldn't give anything less."
Taro started to summon all her ki. The air started to shimmer and waver as she called upon every ounce of her fighting spirit, mind and body. The snow pulsed in ripples away from her as her ki slowly started to manifest. Her expression had lost the smile, and instead she sported a grimace of grim determination. Slowly, a bright, shimmering blue-white aura started to form. It was no more than a thin outline around Taro, and pitifully weak in comparison to Hinawa's beacon of power. "Taro, prove to us you're a real Saiyan and no carbon copy like those who usually wear that uniform," he called with a snide grin appearing. The telltale sign that the real Levlidian had made a come back, "You either die here or you fight through. It's your call," Another voice, that other watchful saiyan's. Lev's voice. Taro only just heard him speak through the humming of her ki and her intense focus. Taro replied through bared teeth, " I don't have to prove anything to you!" With a burst of power, Taro reached her maximum potential. She puffed her chest outwards, breathing deeply and drinking in the power she'd achieved. A small shock-wave fully displaced the snow around her. Taro now stood in a small, circle of icy rock. She looked upwards at the watchful saiyan before addressing him directly, "But if you're as strong as she is, then I can't wait to fight you!" With that, Taro launched herself at Hinawa, aiming to finish the battle before the kitsune could unleash her attack. There were no playful jabs or timid blows. Instead, Only one fist that howled through the cold, ill wind to the tune of Taro's battlecry. Taro intended to end this fight with one solid blow. --------- (No techniques used, it's all fluff.)

Hinawa's smile grew wider when Taro decided to not only power up as far as she could, but also give Levlidian some lip and deny his demands outright. She liked this woman's spirit - she had a lot of it and was absolutely enjoying what they were doing, Hinawa could feel that. It was an exciting ripple going through her body - to find another opponent that she really wanted to fight... She was different from Levlidian's savage nature, yet they both loved to fight just like she did. I don't know if I'm becoming more like a Saiyan by spending so much time with them, or if I've always been like this... But it feels GOOD.
Trying to scare Taro had evidently not worked at all - it probably didn't help that Hinawa held no murderous intent at all within her fire or her Ki. The female Saiyan went for the most reckless option to try to get around Hinawa's attack - to take her down before it was unleashed! Certainly a bold and impressive move, but one that could easily get you killed. Still, the Kitsune decided to humor her opponent - and without unleashing the fire, dissipated the flames between her hands and went into a defensive stance that Levlidian would probably remember, a straight up stance with hands held flat and straight to be able to easily lead an incoming attack to the side, using the momentum of the opponent to keep oneself safe. Against someone who wasn't much taller than her, Hinawa could actually make use of this stance properly!
The fist howled towards her, and Hinawa shifted her stance slightly - a small step to the left, her right hand deflecting it towards the side... and then, it was followed by a punch of her own, using her left fist to try deliver a sudden shot straight to the stomach of her opponent, though there was still at least a small window open for her to dodge. Hinawa didn't want to use her higher strength and speed to their full extent, or she'd end up ending this fight too soon. Once Taro reached the same level as she and Levlidian, an aggressive move like that, once refined, could probably disrupt most charging Ki attacks - it was reckless but effective.
"I'll tell you a little secret. He's even stronger than me - for now, anyway. I plan on changing that soon. But as Martial Artists, we're equals in skill."
With a smirk, Hinawa commented right after her attack on the strength of her Saiyan compatriot. This fight had yet to become a true work of their art - this was still only the buildup to a real, spectacular finale involving all three of them.

Blow after blow was accounted as Taro disregarded his notion of ego, the beasts smile growing ever more but donning a bitter hint in the ridges of it. Taro had spirit, she was similar to most combatants but in this instance, he held all the cards. The weights he wore headed his PL at half the expected poise and with snort; he watched on. The shared moment, Taro delving recklessly into the fray at the chance of being caught in the Ki attack reminded him heavily of his own attempt; yet his carried a primal fury this one seemed to lack. Perhaps he -was- an odd one even amongst Saiyans but that didn't stop his aura blooming, a raging inferno courted the air like a lover and it soon welled with his increasing desire to fight. This was where he'd take a slow, deliberate intake of breath and control swallowed the inferno turning it into a docile feline once again. The hum became a purr and his right boot shifted as if he were to step only for his form to dissipate into the colours of the painted sky above; re-emerging not eight feet from the fray.
The fuelled combat of his inner voices and demons had drawn to a quieter deliverance, each time it had flared, he'd followed as guided during that night and now he felt more so confident in the ability to control himself. promising himself he'd explain all at a later date, the Fox deserved that at least, he decided that waiting just wasn't his forté. Impatience had taken hold, the desire to fight may as well had radiated or bled from his very pours and so a decision was made.
"That's enough waiting," he growled as Hinawa and Taro continued their exchange, the blows reeled through the cold air like thunder strikes and the young man strode to place Hinawa's Kimono carefully upon a dry rock before returning to the center. At this moment, his Ki was suppressed (8,000) and he did so deliberately as he'd extend a palm for the pair as they fought amongst themselves. "Now...," the air about his palm began to sway and dance, blue flames swept through his wrist and wrapped about him like a serpent before forging a ball containing a deep red sphere of crimson ki swelling from the center of his paw. "I'm joining in," he finished and the ball blossomed into a sphere as wide as his hand.
They'd spent hours practising the preparation for this moment, he and Hinawa, hours still after that he'd envisioned her actions and his body mimicked hers from that fight almost perfectly, one arm drawn back and folded ending in a fist, his boots a mere foot apart and his eyes locked onto the women. His aura flared gaining a twinge of blue towards its edges and a set of ears forged above his head made purely of Ki as did a Wolf's coiling tail for but a moment as he cried out; "Fox Fire!" the representatives of the animal within him dissipated instantly and the ball was projected at a high pace for the pair.
It was a weaker version of the assault he'd mastered, travelling at a mediocre third of his power but upon unleashing it he released the flood gates to push his Aura back under control, the full intensity of the restraint caused a creak in his bones but all the while; he wore a proud grin. This fight was going to be his greatest Masterpiece to date and what better way than to open it up but with a nod to the Fox that taught him the very attack he unleashed on them.

Taro smiled. She knew the kitsune wasn't that type. Even so, Taro felt a trickle of regret. Even despite her safety, she was curious to see that sort of power in action, and was determined to stand up to it, eventually.
Somewhere in the back of Taro's mind, Hinawa's words registered, but There was no time for talk or quick remark, only the swift action-and-reaction possible in the rush of a fight. The meeting of mind and body, and their use to the fullest--one of the ways to find one's true self, and find the depths of their potential. Taro simultaneously pulled her fist back from the blocked strike and used it's momentum to whirl forwards inwards, into Hinawa's attack. In a flash of light, Taro's hands and forearms shimmered, then glowed with ki. Two ki-gauntlets surrounded Taro's hand, wrists and forearms. Taro's gauntlet-clad forearm met Hinwana's counter-strike and punched it away with hurricane force.
"You're wide open!" Taro exclaimed as she brought her fist crashing down upon the Kitsune.
Suddenly, At the very last moment, Taro twisted away, cancelling the strike by a slim margin and missing Hinawa by a hair. This twist allowed Taro to bring both gauntlets up in an "X" in front of her just before Lev's foxfire hit. The Ki blast pushed Taro away from Hinwana. Taro held the guard as she did so, until she reversed her palms, grabbed the foxfire blast, and pulled it apart as hard as she could. Taro ripped Lev's ki-ball in half. Free ki scattered across on either side of her. The magical fire instantly melted the snow in two long streaks. The result was a giant "V" burning magically in the snow, with Taro at the center of where the lines met.
Then Taro hit the ground in a three-point landing. Her gauntlets faded. With this new challenger, Taro returned to a defensive stance, waiting for another to make the first move. They now all stood, like three points on a triangle, roughly equal distance from each other. Amidst the frozen peaks of the highlands, the real battle had only just begun.

Incredible. Hinawa's eyes widened a bit - never had someone deflected a strike from her like that, by forming objects out of raw Ki! Quite the skill that Taro had there, and it was certainly effective, to be able to deflect a strike from someone stronger than her. She'd have to figure out how that technique worked, copy it, and make it her own - the same thing she was still trying to do with Levlidian's enhanced martial arts skills that relied on infusing Ki into a limb. She was sure that if she could learn both of these abilities fully, her own combat prowess would skyrocket to even further heights - not to mention her own Ki would grow further by being strained more. The fox-girl smiled, preparing mentally for the counter-strike of the Saiyan she was facing...
But Levlidian was joining in as well now - and with her own technique, to boot. Of course he could use it by now - the fires of the soul that she had taught him, the control necessary was an achievement already. Of course, she expected nothing less from her rival but perfection, so him using it freely right away filled her with joy and pride at having been a good enough teacher. She should really consider teaching people more often, as long as it didn't involve embarrassing herself again. Reacting to the change in the battle, Hinawa ducked down to escape the Ki gauntlet strike, but that proved to not be required - Taro intentionally missed her and actually used them to divert the foxfire completely! Sliding back away from the impact of the fire, she saw how the intense heat generated by Levlidian's fires had burned a wonderful V shape into the snow and ice thanks to the deflection.
Hinawa had never really fought more than one opponent at a time, but she wouldn't pass this chance up. Crouching back down into her animal-like fighting pose, they formed an almost perfect triangle - the overture to a true display of skill from all of them, she was sure of it. The air felt electrified from their Ki auras intermingling and the general amount of excitement from every person in the fight, and Hinawa was drinking in the atmosphere of the competition fully. If there was any way to show to Lev that he could be whoever he wanted to be, blood be damned, then it was like this - through their shared love for Martial Arts.
"Hmph... Alright, Lev. Let's do this!"
With blinding speed, the woman shot forward across the snow - but not right for Levlidian. She knew her rival - he wasn't the type to sit back and pelt a battle from afar. So instead, she was actually rushing right at Taro - but while collecting a minor amount of Ki in one of her hands, which she tossed right where she assumed Levlidian's way would take him to clash with them. It wasn't anything stronger than a punch or kick from her, but it would hopefully serve to distract or unbalance him slightly, as Hinawa went for a low sweep with her legs to knock Taro to the ground once more.

There it was, the resonating love for combat between the three and Levlidian grinned clearly impressed by the use of the combat style Taro favoured; this one was more than a little interesting and this Saiyan basked in it. The consistent inner battle died off, Levlidian unleashed his full potential in the shape of a burning inferno, this is what it was to be alive, he thought, to smear yourself in the blood of combat and divulge your own skills in the fair sport of competition and honour. Face to face with these women of might created the allure of excitement for him, his blood screamed to pulse with adrenaline and as Hinawa burst for Taro; Levlidian spied his means to intercept.
Deep down, his fire burned brighter than before, pride coated the rage and stemmed the lack of control for utter perfection. truly, the beast had grown since they last fought, he had faced dangers and fighters all of their own calibur and won each time. The joy, the absolute joy of being able to enjoy a scrap where the only aspect he stood to lose was an ounce of pride. This was only proving how well he'd picked his Rival, perhaps Taro would amass a similar challenge. from what had been spied, the way this woman fought and how her soul carried such a free spirit within. Levlidian some how wondered if she'd exceed him one day and this only caused the thrill of such a prospect to summon a greater need to grow.
"Yes," he growled in a delayed response, "Let's do this, show me how strong you really are, both of you!"
Leaning into the bend of his knees and springing forth, snow splayed either side of the trajectory he took boasting his speed in the wake of his prepared drive for Hinawa's jaw only to be met with a diverted strike of her own. With a song derived from the echoes of the thunderous strike, the mountain sang and away from the bout Levlidian staggered nursing his jaw. This wasn't what he expected, she'd thought ahead? How exhilarating, Hinawa was -reading- him and after just one fight? The sway of his spined mane obstructed one eye, piercingly cold trails of air caressed the exposed muscles but neither hindered the speed he ploughed on at.
The great Wolf unleashed a battle cry as she manoeuvred after Taro, dropping to sweep at the limbs beneath her, blood be damned indeed, it didn't matter about species or alignment, this was about something far more primal. Delving headlong back into the fray with fist protruding to swipe wide at Hinawa's shoulder and with a flurry of fists designed to push himself between the pair. Fist after fist travelled at heightening layers of speed betraying that this Saiyan was far stronger than what he allowed others to feel beneath the set premise of his weights.
Unfortunately, as he adjusted his frame, skipping back to deliver a snap kick followed by hopping onto the other for a high hooking heel from his other foot, a target was painted for Taro upon his back for the blood pumping in his ears and the reliance on his muscle memory had exposed a chance to truly take the larger Saiyan by surprise.

Taro marveled at the speed and power of both her opponents. She was pushing her very limits and using her most powerful techniques just to keep up. She didn't think there were opponents out there that would be much stronger--well, besides a few of her superiors and the queen herself--but she didn't expect such a fight from these Earthlings.
Taro strained to maintain the gauntlets formed tightly around her forearms. Now that Lev had joined the battle, she'd need to really give it her all! Her heart raced. She was at her limit. The ki within her raged against the narrow walls of each chakra passage. It burned like fire against the limits of each internal gate. Her muscles and body strained to take the massive strain she placed on it. Taro grimaced. It would take some rest to heal this strain off. She didn't have much left. She quickly drove her left fist into the snow to block Hinawa's sweep and quickly raised her right arm to intercept Lev's kick.
Both strikes landed simultaneously with the force of a thunderbolt. Snow, rock, and ice flew upwards from the gigantic impact. For a moment, Taro's guard wavered. Each gauntled started to crack and chip from the twin strikes. Determined, Taro roared as she thrust both arms outwards, trying to push each fighter away. Then, Taro released her white-knuckle grip and dispelled her channeled ki. The fractured gauntlets fizzled into the snowy air. If she kept this up, she wouldn't be in the fight much longer, especially against these two opponents.
"That's--" Taro gasped for breath,"That's, That's--my limit, Lev."
Taro bit her lip, frustrated. Deep down, she knew she was capable of more. All it took was hard work and practice. All she needed was confidence in her abilities and the determination to see it through. Still, there was no hope of beating both the swift, if unorthodox, Hiwana and the powerful Levlidan, especially when this new saiyan was even more powerful than Hinawa.
But it was never about beating them, Taro realized, it was about becoming better myself.
That was the difference--Taro realized. The two before her fought to get lost in the external rush of deadly beauty and serene adrenaline. They fought to experience the intensity and relentless demands of a fight. Taro smiled. Deep down, she knew, given time and patience, she'd surpass both of them. Taro fought not for the thrill or the rush, but to test and break her own limits. Right now, the only way to win was to try. To try and break the limits she found within herself!
With that realization, Taro shifted out of a defensive stance--complete foolishness to any competent fighter that finds themselves surrounded. Unperturbed by her flanks, Taro entered a low stance, with knees bent, elbows inwards near the waist, and arms bent forward. A stance meant to gather ki. Taro took one deep breath, and reached beyond her limits. The ground directly beneath her started to rumbled. Her veins bulged, pain shot through her limbs as Taro demanded more of herself than she was physically capable. With one last effort, Taro bellowed one frantic cry as she desperately stretched her power to the very limits in an attempt to surpass them.

Holy crap. Just WHAT had Lev been eating lately? She had felt his power in his anger earlier, yes - but to experience it straight up... it reminded her of her first attempt at killing Emer, though that had been an even greater difference in power. This feeling of being inferior in power was one she knew all too well, for most of her battles had been fought like this - so she wouldn't be brought down by it alone. She was used to this kind of pressure, in a way. Still, if Hinawa was a fox, lithe and quick, Levlidian was a wolf, strong, fast and powerful on the hunt - and even more dangerous if ever backed into a corner.
The eruption of the three of them colliding at extreme force was enough to blow the snow around them away, even clearing the air a bit from the bit that was starting to freshly fall upon the combatants. Hinawa could feel her leg straining against the energy used to deflect her attack - those energy gauntlets... They were back, and even stronger this time. Hinawa could feel intense pressure on her leg, and had to give in, jumping back from Taro - and thanks to that, narrowly avoided getting savaged into the ground by Levlidian, though his strike against her shoulder definitely hit. The spin to her backwards flight was not exactly planned, and she could feel sharp pain coursing through her body - but that just made her more excited to keep this fight going.
Taro was pushed into a corner, though. Her power couldn't keep up with hers or Levlidian's, but she didn't seem to want to give up - the three of them really were alike in many ways. Hinawa's eyes shone deep red as she grinned, flying through the air upside down - stopping her rotation, she outstretched one arm, her claw-like fingernails screeching over the ice to bring her to a stop again as she jumped back onto solid ground fluidly, though she was making sure not to use her left arm to catch herself with her claws. Of course he got my main hand. Oh well, no use moaning about it...
Taro's Ki suddenly spiked, causing Hinawa to raise an eyebrow. It was still nowhere close to hers or Lev's Ki, but damn... This was an impressive display for someone so obviously inexperienced compared to them. Rotating her hurt shoulder slightly as she stood back up straight, she wondered... Could Lev take her strongest attack? Probably, but she didn't have the Ki reserves to instantly attempt that much focus again right away. So for now, she wouldn't be able to fulfill his demand... But that was fine, she liked keeping him dangling every now and then, after all. So instead, she jumped right towards the male Saiyan - if he had been pushed back or not, it wouldn't matter, as she summoned up multiple small balls of Ki into her hands.
"You want to see my full power, Lev? Earn it!"
And with a laugh, she unleashed a barrage of incredibly tiny balls of blue flame. In the end, each of these flames in the torrent of attacks wasn't any more powerful or numerous as a flurry of punches and kicks - she was simply delivering it at range, with both the safety of distance and the reduced accuracy that entailed. For now she'd keep him on his toes while giving Taro a bit of time to power up, so that she could show the both of them what her full power looked like! Though her left arm being injured did mean that her barrage to keep him busy had an obvious weak point.

It was like a beautiful, harmonious song, the shared experience of the three of them thrown into combat and Levlidian stood at the center of it all, rising from his strike upon Hinawa and glancing about his shoulder for a mere moment to regard the super charging Taro, both of them excited his Saiyan blood for their passion bled into the scene scripting it to be his greatest challenge yet.
Taro spoke and levlidian scoffed; "You're not even close to your limit," he said scornfully, "Don't be a defeatist, give it everything you have," He wanted to it all, everything they had to test his developing abilities when Hinawa's challenge stole the entirety of the attention of the young Saiyan. Slipping a boot back and crossing his arms; the beast was met with her outburst of Ki and the burning flames danced off his limbs scalding the frozen flesh. Gritting against the pain, he soon unleashed a roar of defiance and tore his arms downwards only to delve two fists in succession, one aftyer the other to deflect the last of it and lock hands with Hinawa as she charged.
A vicious eruption of power tore through the scene cracking the stone and ice and Levlidian's eyes fixed upon hers; glowering with excitement. "Earn it?" his brow sank and his smile widened, "You bet I will," each of his forearms strained against hers, the claws she boasted cut into the backs of his hands elaborating blood for all to see and yet he stood firm. With a flex of his thighs, the beast continued; "You know what they say: It's not the size of the dog, in a fight-." his aura began to bleed out around him as he turned his focus inwards, flames licked at the air. "It's the size of the fight, in the dog," and with an almighty roar his power burst forward thus he'd whip their hands aside and begin the exchange.
Fist after fist, knee after knee, they shared in a flurry that both evaded and blocked evenly. Lev' could feel the growing energy of the Saiyan behind him and his blood boiled with the presumption of greatness Taro would bring, it was obvious, Hinawa was buying the younger soul time but her Rival hardly cared as the two of them engaged again with a sudden eruption of further Ki. Alas, her agility over threw the brute strength he boasted and snared him hard in the jaw causing a stagger.
Hinawa had definitely become far better than he remembered, even with the gap between them she pushed all the right nerves and buttons to give as good as she got, pain reeled through the Saiyan as he tested the lips of his jaw, it was partly fractured, he could feel that and the blood betrayed that he'd bitten his cheek on the inside. "That all you got Foxy?" he spat a clump of phlegm and blood to the stone.
A moment to breathe followed, heaving in the air to articulate himself and closing his eyes to accumulate a level of control, he didn't see the knee that stole his breath and the second fist he tore a forearm up intending to block and swing again aiming for her abdomen. of course he'd seen the weakness, he saw how the Fox favoured the arm he'd struck but made no move to take advantage. This wasn't what it was about, he wanted a good brawl not a quick win and still he waited to be taken advantage of by Taro for the beast was deliberately leaving his guard down to see what the small woman could really do.

Like turning slow, heavy, gears to widen some massive internal gate, Taro inched past her previous limits, forcing the many internal passages to allow more Ki to flow freely through. Her body burned in protest, but she knew, soon, that this was only a stepping-stone, only the next step in the never-ending quest to improve oneself. She grimaced, and tried to paradoxically enjoy what the feeling meant, even if she couldn't bring herself to entirely shake off the pain.
Only then did Taro's mind return to the fight. Taro noticed Lev and Hinawa dueling. Her two opponents clashed with such speed and ferocity, Taro could barely keep up even with her eyes. If these two opponents were this strong, Taro couldn't fathom how powerful the very elites of her kind were, like the saiyan Queen, lady death herself, or how powerful the heroes of Earth were, being able to repel a saiyan invasion. Taro was inspired by the thought. If it was possible for them, then with time and practice, it would be possible for her, too!
Moreover, there was something inspiring in Lev and Hinawa's duel. While Lev possessed more raw strength, Hinawa struck with superior accuracy and skill. She watched Hinawa beat Lev back, landing two savage blows. She was glad, and a bit grateful, that her opponents didn't exploit her reckless move, despite her being part of the Empire which had tried to invade their planet. It was a kindness many loyalists on Vegeta wouldn't offer. Finally, Taro saw an opening. She didn't possess the speed to slip in before Lev's guard returned, but she did have one more trick up her sleeve.
With her newfound strength, Taro changed her stance. She extended her right arm down towards the ground. Then clasped her right wrist with her left hand. Taro would show them both an energy attack of her invention. Taro funneled her newfound strength into a quickly growing purple energy sphere that surrounded her right palm, "Here's everything I have, Lev, coming right at you!"
"Breaker!" Taro called the attack, it was tradition, if nothing else. She swiftly brought her right arm behind her in the wind up. She brought right arm up and aimed the shot at Lev. Taro lunged forwards she launched the attack. "Shell!"
zip-fwiiing! The purple sphere of energy zipped over the cold snow in a small arc. The bright light from the projectile temporarily cast the battlefield into a eerie purple glow, and trails of disturbed snow spiraled around the energy-bomb in a dazzling double-helix. Taro smiled. Her reserves of ki had run out, and her aura flickered before fizzing out before the projectile even struck. Though exhausted, she wasn't bothered. She had given this fight everything she had, and that's all she could ever ask of herself.

Her barrage wasn't enough to keep Levlidian pinned down - really, she wasn't surprised. The raw, powerful burst of aura from the Saiyan nearly knocked her out of the air even before their clash began, but the Kitsune gritted her teeth and stood tall against the onslaught. When their bodies clashed together, Hinawa felt as if she was about to break in two right then and there - Lev had gotten so much more powerful! Even back when his power level had been nothing but a drip in the ocean compared to hers, his physical strength had been enough to put her on edge - and now, it made her completely unable to trade punches and kicks equally in strength... So she had to be faster than ever before.
With a loud, animal-like hissing sound, Hinawa flew into a full on fury of an attack, actually managing to score a good hit on Levlidian's jaw. The pale blue aura around her body was quivering, as some specks of red, like a slowly returning true fire, could be seen within it. But at the same time that she landed that hit on his jaw, his final attack of the full barrage hit her square in the face, throwing the fox-girl back down into the snow with a hard crash. Forcing herself back up, Hinawa suddenly saw red in her right eye - and had to close it. A gash was right above it now, bleeding down over her entire face - it burned in the cold air, but not enough to be debilitating. Worse pain was required for that - and using the breathing moment, Hinawa suddenly rushed forward, raising her right knee to slam it right into the Saiyan. It hit - she had the pressure now! Going straight for another punch with her good arm, she overestimated her speed.
With a loud impact, Hinawa was thrown straight backwards, flung through the air like a rag-doll. Every last bit of breath was stolen from her, and she could feel the strength leaving her body faster and faster... More red streaks flared through her aura as she laid in the snow. Taro was attacking Lev again. She had to continue. This fight wasn't over yet. It was far from over! Gritting her teeth, Hinawa slowly forced her body upwards. Sitting up alone caused her muscles to burn - she couldn't breathe properly at all. The punch from Levlidian had been enough to bruise multiple ribs and muscles, and without deep breathing, she wouldn't be able to fight at full capacity anymore... At least not up close.
Throwing herself forward onto her arms and knees, the Kitsune gritted her teeth even harder. The sharp canines in her mouth were clearly visible, as her inner void began to break down and be consumed by the fire within. If this was supposed to be her masterpiece, then she couldn't fall yet! There was no way that she would! Spitting out blood, she began to force herself back onto her feet, the one still good eye focusing onto Levlidian.
"All...? Was about... to ask you the same...!" Her wheezing breath gave away that she could barely stand, but she wouldn't fall back down. Not yet... she still had one last trick up her sleeve... one that Levlidian had not yet seen! But she needed more Ki for it... Way more. With unnatural focus, Hinawa began to summon up her strength...

Hinawa was acting differently and in that moment Levlidian faltered, his heart beat hounded his ears and his Saiyan blood howled like a ravenous wolf to the song of combat resonating in his heart, however, he paused and gazed on as the power began to tear into being around the Fox. However, he had forgotten about the other, an energy signature caused him to pivot swiftly only to be faced with the on coming attack. There was no time, he knew it wouldn't kill him but at such a pace; it was sure going to do some damage to him. Attempting to curve his back, arch his shoulders to dodge he realised he just didn't own the agility and the energy attack struck him hard.
Blood burst upon the ground in thick pearls, a sickening crack filled the air and Levlidian's right arm fell limp at his side causing him to slide backwards from the significantly larger burst of ki that what he'd expected. pain tore through him, agony he'd not felt in so long and two obsidian orbs fix on taro with a reflective look of pride. She'd hit him, she'd hit him hard and now he had lost his arm to a stupid choice in the midst of battle; he'd underestimated both of them.
Taking the shoulder in his other hand, refusing to call out in agony he then yanked the joint back into place. Crimson decorated his hand and ran freely from the lacerations of his limb. "You pack a punch," he snarled and exhaled loudly to the rising numbness in the joint, his aura waned but he offered a mock salute to the exhausted Taro before turning on his heel. "Think you can top that?" asked the Saiyan to the Fox; "Think you can take my other arm?" the goad was misplaced. pain, pride, rage, it all powered through him and flickers of his Brother came to pass.
The fight between he and his family, Lily's grave, the Gang he'd fought, it all boiled within him and with that he shed the weights, the gloves fell, his heavy sash tumbled to open up his Gi to the chilling cold and revealing a horribly scarred physique. Burns, cuts, piercing wounds, he'd suffered them all and with a deep snarl; he unleashed his entirety of power into the frantically lashing Ki about him. Plumes of debris and snow tore around him like a vortex; blood drew into the air joining the hue of similar depiction.
breathing heavily, his focus faded and his Saiyan blood taking the reign, he lowered into the same pose as before, the Gi fluttered open at the chest to reveal the letters 'SSE' stained into him via fire. "bring it on Hinawa," came his cold tone, knuckles cracked as they tightened into meaty boulders, "I can take it,"
