Awakening Emer watched throughout his explanation as the young fox woman seemed to grow redder and redder by the moment. He watched the changes in her simple expression, it went from her being shocked and surprised, to her being completely taken off guard as her eyes seemed to stare wide open at him. She seemed to be taking in everything he said, without even interrupting him. If he had to describe her right now, it would be as if she's a deer caught in the headlights of a car. She even began to step away as if Emer was scarring her slightly.
Though when he heard her start to interrupt, she immediately hushed so that he could continue his own explanation. In fact, if she got any redder, she could be compared to mars or something. She was positively glowing tonight, and her voice was soft and strained. As if she could hardly speak. Her breathing seemed to pick up slightly as he continued to talk. A small shiver seemed to go down the girl, as she crossed her arms in front of her. Emer figured it had to be the weather causing that to happen to her. Though when she spoke about it all being a first, he couldn't help but smile.
"Well, I'm pretty sure they'd of told you the same thing I had, if they knew they could get away with it." He said remembering how she used to be. However, when he looked at her, she seemed to shrink more and more... As if she was growing distant to the man. Hmm, maybe he wasn't choosing the correct words in this situation after all? However what he got from her had been out of his calculations as she turned to him, saying something about how he wasn't going to win.
Answering him about the bar, she continued to say that she was going to get him to be normal. Calling his bluntness his worst trait, he could name several about himself that was back. She even stated about him being a giant and how to some it could be attractive. Even going so far as to call him strong and caring. Well when it came to his race, he would take any punishment for them, and even going so far as to protect what little friends he had. So Emer couldn't really disagree with what she was saying anymore.
That's when she finally cracked, causing a mighty hearty laugh to leave Emer... Wait a minute? Was he actually laughing? How long had it been since he found solace in just talking to someone? Let alone feel a bit of joy. Shaking his head to get those thoughts out, she spoke about taking back what she had said. How no man on earth would get a date anymore, and how he knew everything to say. Then when she spoke about how she didn't believe anything that he had said, causing the Kagami to frown slightly, Emer never spoke false to someone.
Even going so far as to say he didn't play fair? "I think I was as fair as I could get, I spoke exactly what came to my mind when it came to it. I suppose humans call it ad libing? But to be fair, if you don't want to believe me that is your choice. But I don't choose to lie to others." He said with a small nod of his head. Nothing he said had been false, he was even just going with whatever came to his mind at that moment. "However, I do dare say that is probably one of your attractive qualities Hinawa."
He said with a small chuckle. "It's that you always fight something to the end. That's what makes it where I do think I would like you more than just a student or friend. If I was looking for someone like that, I'd put you number one on my list right now." He said with a small laugh. His head turning back towards the sky, as he looked up towards it. His eyes shifting slightly, towards where his planet would be. "But alas... I don't think that's an option for me anymore..."
He seemed to be quiet at this part. "Cause my mission, is going to cost me my life... No matter how hard I train, or how hard I fight, there's still to many saiyans for me to face... Yet, I'll keep trying over and over again. I don't know how long it will take... But one day, I'll free my people, even if I have to suffer more than I have." Turning his attention back to Hinawa, he had a sad smile, but it was also determined, and made even Irith smile at it within his head. As it was pleasantly soft, she had never seen Emer with a smile like that. "And, then I have friends to protect, and to make sure live to see the day... That Kagami are free, so they can help guide them in my place."

She really couldn't win - at least not against Emer. Was she really that... desirable, for someone like him? Really, she had no idea how to take that. To her, Emer had always been a shining example of strength and an intense, almost inhuman and impossible to grasp drive and desire. He was an ideal as well as a person, living power and yet... also her teacher. Her friend. And all that while he had once been her worst nightmare, target of revenge, and a lot of other things she didn't care to remember. Yet now, with his laugh and sad following words, she could begin to grasp at just how hurt, damaged and broken he really was deep down.
"I think I'll believe you."
Saying so with a smile, Hinawa stepped up next to Emer with her light, graceful movements. She wouldn't allow him to die... not like that. She was selfish, after all - she didn't want to lose him, no matter what. Was that friendship, or something more? She couldn't tell, for she had no frame of reference. She never had friends before him and Levlidian - and Aina, now that she thought about it. Those three were the most important people in her life, and also the only ones that ever got close to her... And now, she refused to lose any of them.
"So you think that will be your fate? To die countless deaths, for their freedom... You've got immense courage to be able to say that." speaking softly, Hinawa looked at the starry sky above them. Now, in the middle of the night, the silver and white light from them lit up the beautiful sky, as her eyes returned to their blue shine, reflecting the starlight slightly. She closed her eyes halfway for a moment, her facial expression becoming incredibly calm - she summoned up the void within her, that center of being that allowed her to direct and control her emotions, while not denying them.
"But if you think I'll be satisfied with that... Well, you know me. I always want more and more..."
Raising her right hand towards the stars as if to grasp them, Hinawa called forth small, sparkling blue flames that danced between her fingers, filling the night with their soft, ghostly light. Bathed in it she stood, almost looking divine with its hue combining with the silver of the stars from above, as more and more tiny flames began to dance and sparkle all around her.
"I don't care how many enemies we have to face. How often we will lose, or who will stand in our way to beat us down... If the gods themselves rise against us, I'll strike them down myself. If the devils are summoned by our opponents, I'll drive them back to hell. And I swear, in this light of my own foxfire..."
Raising both hands above before extending them to her sides, spreading her arms wide, the sparkling, beautiful blue flames danced around her to an unheard melody, yet there was the undeniable, powerful determination in her voice that Emer knew.
"I'll do the impossible. Your people will be free... And I'll free you, too. I won't have to guide them, because you'll be there, together with me. When that time comes, I want to see your true, honest smile. Emer, no matter what comes... Our light will burn forever." Spreading through the air like a curtain of blue light, the foxfire dissipated around them, the spectacle ending as fast as it had begun. "The most important lesson that you've ever given me... I'll return it to you now."
With an honest, pure smile, Hinawa looked into Emer's eyes, as she reached out a hand to him. "You're not alone."

Awakening Emer stood there for a moment, as he kept his eyes one Hinawa, the small fox girl seemed to be debating something serious at the moment. However what came from her mouth seemed to be the response Emer was looking for. A small nod of his head showed that he had understood what she was saying. There was a small smile on her face as she walked up towards him. Looking around a bit before she brought about a small light blue light with her. Though when she asked about his fate, talking about how many times he was going to die, and he'd do that for the freedom,
Looking back towards the sky, and not at her he nodded slightly. "I wish there was another way, but to be honest, I'll be lucky to survive each fight. Even then, it'll just be me pushing myself further and further. Unlike these other Kagami, I have a special trait. It's called a greater physical prowess... While others of my race can mimic an attack or something similar. I have developed a line of genes similar to that of a saiyans..." He said a little disgusted at thinking about it. Clenching his fist slightly.
"I've gained something similar to their Zenkai, so every time I'm beaten down, I come back stronger... And I know that'll come in handy for me in the days to come." However she seemed to now be looking towards the skies with him now. Then her voice returned to normal talking about if he thought she'd be satisfied with that. Emer knew that wasn't the case, she was always chasing more, even when it came down to the fact of getting stronger. Or just simply living her life the way she wanted from any given moment. It caused a laugh to escape the Kagami.
A small blue flame seemed to dancing around the two of them, as if it was dancing to some music. She spoke about doing the impossible, stating that no matter how many enemies where ahead, that she would continue to strike them down. A small smile seemed to be across Emer's face as she spoke. His eyes closing softly, he remembered some of those words, he had been told them once before. But it seemed that these ones held some truth in them. Then she spoke about how she would be giving back the lesson he had given her all those years ago.
A small smile upon her face as the spectacle around them ended. Her hand outstretched towards his own. She spoke the simple words, stating that the man wasn't alone. With a nod of his head he reached out taking her hand. A smile on his face. "Well, Hinawa, I believe we're to an agreement then. However, I will say this. I won't allow you to die with me. If I know it's a fight that's going to cause my death, you already know my solution to that." He had done it before to several people. She should at least remember those stories.
Where he would knock his allies out with a quick chop, they wouldn't even see it coming, nor was it ever alerted to them what was going on till they woke up later to find a bloodied Emer. So she knew that one day it might happen to herself. "But otherwise, I accept your offer then." He said grabbing her hand. If she was expecting a soft grip she was mistaken. As suddenly his full force gripped her tiny hand. This was his way of sealing a pact, the same he had done all those years ago. To show he meant the truth. "Well, this ought to be fun."
Taking a moment to think to himself, Emer finally nodded and reached into his pocket producing a small capsule and opening it. All the sudden a large spaceship appeared in front of them. "Well, we're not going to get anywhere standing around here... I have a gravity chamber, we should get started no?"
