It was early in the AM and Athren had found himself on a semi-comfortable couch planted in the living room of Anzu and Kaiyo's apartment. It wasn't exactly what he was used too but it would work as a temporary bed, though he did hope he wouldn't have to live there long. Since he wasn't exactly alone and they could barge in at any time he had been sleeping in his rough looking saiyan armour. It wasn't the best to sleep in but it sure worked.
Unfortunately, Athren wasn't getting much sleep tonight. He continued to have nightmares about his past and about his present. It haunted him how he was too weak to deal with the saiyan's himself and he wasn't impressed how he needed to get the two girls he lived with involved. He expected more from himself, he was a saiyan.
His body covered with sweat he rolled back and fourth constantly as a nightmare played in his head. It was of him getting beat in combat at the ones helping him getting slaughtered. He couldn't do anything but watch helplessly as even in his nightmare he was much too weak. As the dark figure in his nightmare turned to him and fired a large blast of Ki Athren's eyes went wide open as he sat up quickly and slid off the couch.
With a loud thud that echoed through the apartment Athren had hit the floor hard. "Damn it... Stupid nightmares." He mumbled to himself quietly as he looked around the dark living room where he had made home. ~ No point in trying to sleep anymore, That clearly isn't going to happen. I guess I'll go get some air.~ Slowly Athren got to his feet and quietly tip-toed to the door of the apartment, unlocking it he slowly opened it with caution and made his exit before closing the door gently to avoid waking anybody up.
Sooner than later he found himself on the side walk of the lighted city streets, if it wasn't for the street lights it would probably be pitch black, but that was one of the factors of living in the city. Around him there was very little life, that is until he took a right corner and saw a few smokers standing out side of a local bar. The bar was lit up brightly with Neon lights advertising it's name and a large window for guests to look out of. Continuing his path Athren didn't really think anything of the place.. He slowly approached it as he continued his late night walk.

Iggy was having a hard time adjusting to city life.
For one, he had forgotten to bring any extra clothes besides what he wore when he left home, and his gi. He was wearing the gi at present, since his other clothes had begun to smell. Secondly, he didn't have any money. This was a major oversight on his part, since he generally relied on money to acquire food, shelter, and other assorted luxuries. To put it bluntly, he felt like a bloody idiot. Literally bloody, in fact, since he was still healing from his injuries from the tournament, as attested by the sling holding his left arm immobile. And the neck brace. And all the assorted bandages. Honestly, he kind of looked like a mummy. A sad, slightly malnourished mummy.
More pressing than his aching bones, however, was the ravenous hunger. He hadn't eaten properly in days, though at least water was free. Usually. He trudged along the city streets, rubbing his stomach absently as it growled in protest. "I know, alright? I need food. But, you see, I don't have any food. You can see how that would be an issue when it comes to eating, yes?" Iggy's stomach declined to comment. Nevertheless, as fate would have it, Iggy's eye was caught by a bright light in the darkness. Er- well, actually it wasn't really any brighter than the streetlights. But I mean in a metaphorical sense, it was like a light in the darkness. A signal of salvation and the like, you see. Like a lighthouse, except instead of guiding incoming ships to safety, Iggy was fairly certain that this light's purpose was far less altruistic. It read "CAP'N GRAYBEARD'S SEA SHANTY PUB & GRUB" in flickering neon lettering. Some sort of theme restaurant, then. Well, it certainly looked cheap enough. Crossing the street, Iggy pushed open the shabby-looking wooden door and was greeted to the lively sounds of an empty bar. Well, mostly empty. There were a few people sitting at the bar, but at least half of them were either asleep or dead. Iggy preferred to believe that it was the former. Anyways, seating himself at the furthest end of the bar away from the other patrons he glanced up hopefully at the menu tacked up on the wall. Iggy was able to immediately check pretty much everything on the menu off of his list of options, except the onion rings and from what he could tell was some sort of low-quality beer. He opted for the onion rings, obviously.
While he waited, he took a tentative glance around at his surroundings, noting that the only real nautical-themed decoration was a rusty old ship's anchor half-heartedly mounted on a far wall. Not exactly an expert interior decorator, this "Cap'n Graybeard" fellow. Iggy continued to eagerly await his onion rings.

After walking past the place Athren leaded his back against a brick wall of a building a few doors down. He lifted his leg and placed his foot against the wall firmly. He then crossed his arms and looked around. The smokers went back inside and the street was empty again. It wasn't the nicest place to stop but Athren wasn't exactly sure where he was going or what he wanted to do. During this whole time he just kept thinking about how weak he was. He kept playing in his head, over and over..
Finally, Athren noticed he had forgotten his scouter on the living room coffee table. It wasn't a big deal but it may have come in handy. He didn't like going without it as it could possibly give him the edge in combat as it told locations and power levels of opponents. It was a nice tool to have.
As Athren leaned there he continued to think and play out why in his head. He kept asking himself questions. ~ Why the hell am I so weak? So far everybody I've talked to on this Planet could take me down. I'm a saiyan and I work hard for my power.. Yet I can't win a fight?~ Really, He didn't understand it but he could only improve himself and when he did.. he only hoped he could somehow manage to get rid of these nightmares. What would it take..?

Kashu looked at the guy who just came into the bar out of no where. he started to look at him as his face looked like someone he had met. Kashu yelled at the man Hey you there! He walked to the unknown man, and tried to get a closer look at him to just see if he looks alike someone he had met before.

Iggy was startled out of his introspection by the sound of someone calling out. Looking about frantically, he noticed a rather short fellow heading towards him. What was it he had said? Iggy hadn't been paying attention to be honest. Iggy, hoping that the man had been talking to someone else, kept his mouth shut.

Athren kept his head low as a couple of men passed by him to head to the glowing pub just down the street. Once they reached the pub they had entered the bright neon building and probably sat down for some alcoholic beverages. Once again being left alone Athren raised his head up and began to look around the street. Not much had change from a few minutes ago. The streets were boring and quite bear, except of course the exception of the pub with the activity.
Athren leaned there quietly as he debated on what to do next.

Okay, now the strange man had a baseball bat. This prompted Iggy to stand up and start backing slowly towards the door. "H-hey man, woah, calm down!" he stammered, unable to make out the slurred language of the inebriated figure before him. "I just wanted some onion rings!"

~ Well, Time to get a move on. This place really isn't that entertaining right now.~ With that Athren straightened his posture out on the side walk as he stood tall and strong. He looked around one last time to note that nothing had really changed since he last took a good look around. He decided that it was that time to head on down the road and find another place in attempt to entertain himself. He really didn't expect for that to happen either.

((in the interest of keeping this moving, I'm giving Iggy permission to god mod this bit(within reason), so that he can soar majestically out the window like he apparently wants to. Unless Kashu comes back you two can also continue without waiting for him, though leave it open ended enough that he can rejoin if/when he comes back around.
If there are any objections by all means get in contact with me and we can edit or remove any parts which cause issue.))

Iggy had several problems with his current situation. First of all, he was lifted bodily by a drunken stranger. Second, the stranger then proceeded to hurl him out of a bar window. Iggy had little time to contemplate this, however, as he felt the impact of his back on the glass. Of course, then the glass began to crumple under the force of the impact and shatter into countless little shards that cut into Iggy's clothes and raked his flesh, but fortunately he wouldn't be feeling that for several more seconds. As he felt himself begin to tumble downwards, towards the cold street below, he began to wonder why he always seemed to experience this sort of thing in slow motion. It couldn't be his reflexes, as they were as mediocre as they always have been, but nevertheless in situations like this Iggy recently found himself seemingly suspended in time, able to watch as each fraction of a second passed him by, though unable to do anything about it. Either way, it wasn't a very useful skill. If anything, it just gave him time to feel worse about it. And then, impact. Not with the concrete, as he had expected, but with something softer. Probably a person standing in front of the window, Iggy mused, but he couldn't really turn around to check. Interestingly, they didn't seem to move when he hit them, and in fact Iggy bounced off like he had hit the concrete. Then, after many painfully slow seconds, he hit the concrete in earnest, the side of his face ground into the glass that had hit the ground before him as he impacted.
... And then all of a sudden, time began to flow normally. And it hurt.
(TL;DR: Iggy has just been thrown out of a window and bounced off of you)

As Athren had stood outside he didn't expect anything to happen during this night. He was just about to leave until he heard the sound of the glass crashing. Of course he felt it too as the shards bounced off his built body. That wasn't the only thing though a man had collided with him. Of course Athren didn't budge at all but that wasn't the point. He turned and looked down at the weak looking human on the pavement by his feet.
"You drunk or something?" He asked in a slightly annoyed voice as he reached down and grabbed the mans fighting gi. He would then lift the man up until he caught himself on his own feet. From the look of the human he didn't look like much of anything but he did look like he would be trying to be a fighter. Regardless, he just bumped into the wrong saiyan if he decided to get lippy. "Who the hell tossed you through the window? Or did you just trip through it you idiot?" Athren didn't know the full situation, but what he did know was that the man went through the window. Now to know the cause of it all.

(Let's see how I do at a more comedic thread)
After finally getting his new technique down, Yuken had decided it would be a good idea to cool down for a bit and get something cold into his system. Simply finding a place to get a drink, however, was proving to be difficult as only bars and pubs were open at this hour and none of them would even so much as allow the child inside. That was, of course, with the exception of "Cap'N Greybeard's Sea Shanty".
The pub/diner didn't look like something of a high-end sort, but it had passable food and drink and that was good enough. Having just finished up his meal, the boy found he was still thirsty and thus went to a nearby vending machine to get himself a soda to water down the taste of some of the less than savory dishes.
Bending down to pick up his fizzy drink, Yuken heard several shouts and pleas behind him followed by the sound of a window shattering but the warrior paid the sounds no mind, already having had a long enough day as it was and not wanting to get involved in some sort of drunken dispute.
Exiting the restraunt through the front door, the boy took a long sip of his cola before feeling as though he was being watched. Head still tilted backwards and bottle on his lips, Yuken opened his eyes and looked to his right to see a Saiyan warrior of sorts holding a fearful man by the shirt and both parties staring at him. Not knowing what else to do, the boy remained still and stared back, waiting for one of them to make the first move.

Iggy's vision swam as he felt himself being lifted up by the collar, and as it cleared he was presented with the face of a stern-looking fellow peering at him with irritation in his eyes. "You drunk or something?" the rather intimidating individual said, following it by looking over his shoulder and saying "Who the hell tossed you through the window? Or did you just trip through it, you idiot?" Now, Iggy was fully aware that he was rather inept. And he has long since accepted it. Hell, that's the whole reason he left home in the first place, to better himself. But for some reason, this insult cut deep. Maybe it was the sleep deprivation, or the hunger, or the horrible agony, but it really got to him that after all the crap he went through to get here, nothing had really changed. Here he was, being casually chucked through windows and insulted, as if he had never left his hometown. It was all he could do to fight back tears, and he only managed to choke out the words "I just... onion rings..". Then, silence. Horrible, piercing awkward silence that seemed to suddenly engulf the entire city.
*K-chunk*
Heads turned towards the sound that broke the silence, as a lone figure bent to retrieve a soda from the machine. As the figure stood, it took a swig from its drink, a sip that seemed to last centuries, until it finally turned around and noticed all of the eyes on it.
Somewhere, someone coughed. And then the silence continued.
