Leading the way back to her cavernous home, Hinawa floated above the ground slightly. She wasn't in any particular hurry, especially since they were both still exhausted from this spar, so they had plenty of time to chat - and she actually found herself enjoying it, which certainly wasn't normal. The snowy landscape rolled along under them, soft snow and frozen plates of ice covering a lot of the ground, but boulders and sometimes even clearings without ice coming up every now and then. Icy fields like these could still boast an incredible variety, after all. With a short thought, the kitsune made her ears and tail disappear for now - with the exhaustion coupled with the cold wind, she could really do without her sensitive ears being exposed to the cold for now. The human ears she had for the moment would have to suffice.
"That fire was made with a family technique. Its called 'fox fire' - magic used by Zoanthrope Earthlings like me that belong to the kitsune clans. I don't really know if using it is natural for us, or learned... You certainly need teaching to be able to use it, but following the instructions is very natural once you know them." explaining her technique to the Saiyan, she was actually quite pleased to see him that interested in her family traditions. The fox fire was the only one she remembered - not counting the shapeshifting every kitsune could do - so it meant quite a bit to her for it to be acknowledged as something special.
"Learning how to use it by remembering what my mother told me... That's also how I kept my Ki so calm, yet made it act like fire to imitate yours. I believe with a bit more practice, I can probably replicate that more... Anyways, what you have to do is simple. Its best learned through meditation."
As she explained, they were slowly moving back through the caverns under the snowy lands, back to the cave that she had already invited Levlidian into once - arriving at her makeshift home, she picked up a can from a corner and tossed it towards the Saiyan. "Catch." It was just some simple beer she had picked up, but hey, a girl sometimes needed to unwind after training - especially after training with a Saiyan. Reaching for one for herself, she cracked the can open.
"Meditation leads to Ki control, which leads to imitating new styles more fluently. I'm no master at it, but I can show you how to meditate, if you want."

The caverns were a welcome sight as the young Saiyan followed his new sparring partner, true enough, to date she was his greatest challenge and one he'd enjoyed the combat against but the messages she conveyed confused him. Snow crunched beneath every stride and he swept one hand up to dust the snow clear of his shoulders and spine like mane as they descended deeper into the darkness. Upon reaching a familiar set up, she began to talk of Meditation, this is something he'd never conceived as a focus of training; his discipline was hard enough to reign in as it was.
"So your people focus on discipline and calm to fight, yet imitate your opponents to better access your potential? That is a great skill indeed," manoeuvring around the Caverns again, he gazed toward her collections of items and accumulated rations. By god he was hungry, a Saiyan's appetite for food was the one thing that out weighed his desire for battle. still, as she spoke, the young man listened and adverse in time to capture the can. Splitting the cap he'd begin drinking and sizing her up as she spoke.
"Could you teach me your technique?" he asked suddenly as he lowered the can and peered with interest, "Your Fox-Fire as well as meditation then, I do struggle to control my Ki at times and in battle I seldom think more than my muscles do. Most of my choices are reflexes and I'm sure being able to use my sharpened mind more in a fight might further my progress," he stopped and adjusted his jaw, "meditation training, I think I'll take you up on that offer,"
"You see, as a boy I was trained to become a weapon for the Army my Father represented, it wasn't that I disliked war, it IS combat after all but I held in disdain the idea of fighting for just one goal. My Father was one man that believed whole heartily in the Honour of a Warrior but his idea of honour was a twisted thing. Power was the way forward and conquering the universe was the goal but i had no interest in that or what my people wanted. I. just wanted to fight but being here; I find myself seeking...other things as well as combat. Conversation being one of them and it baffles me as to why,"
"What is a Zoanthrope?" he added. A worth while question, he thought, perhaps it was time he benefited from extra information as well as combat experience. If he was to fight here on Earth, an Ally was valuable but so was information. It seemed there were more than mere humans here and from what he'd experienced here; they boasted some considerable power in comparison to most of the average souls here.

Apparently, Earth was doing good things for Levlidian's disposition. Hinawa smirked as she threw some more logs onto her makeshift fireplace and ignited it with a short burst of pale blue flame - doing so was now a flowing, free motion, as opposed to the first time she did this in front of him a while ago. Motioning towards one of the larger rocks next to the fire, she sat down on one of the others.
"Alright, I'll teach you. Get comfortable - You need to be able to relax to do this." explaining a little bit, she finished her own drink, then swiped a back of beef jerky from the ground, nabbed herself a piece, and threw the rest to her rival... And student. This was getting strange AND interesting... His story was one of nothing but combat until he came to Earth. Really, with that perspective, it was no surprise that he was so focused on it when they first met... Yet she found herself admiring the purity of his wish. War was combat, but the other things about war didn't interest him... Once more, she realized that she could no longer share Emer's hatred of these proud warriors.
"Earth is a nice place - it brings out the best in you, it seems. As for Zoanthropes..." Stretching a bit, Hinawa suddenly shrank down - and a gold-brown fox was sitting on the stone she had been on, and it spoke. "We're almost completely identical to humans - so close, in fact, that we're all considered Earthlings and can mix with each other, too. The difference is that we have some things that make us closer to beasts. My true form is my human body with animal characteristics - and a lot of Zoanthropes can shapeshift, like I can. Another Ki technique, really, as this form also hides my Ki."
With a 'poof', she turned back into her human form, showing her ears and tail again, as she crossed her legs while sitting on the stone and smiled. "There are a lot of different 'Zoanthropes'. Some are mixed in appearance, like me. Others are humanoid animals. Then there are those who only transform when fighting. But we're all Earthlings. My clan were called the 'Hyoukai Kitsune' clan... Y'know, until they got eradicated. I'm the last Hyoukai Kitsune, as far as I know. There might be other Kitsune, but every clan has their own way of using Ki, how to control it... So if you really learn my way of meditation and ki usage, you'll be one of two people in the galaxy to use it. And in exchange - you'll have to teach me how to infuse my punches with Ki like you did with that impressive attack."

The woman was quite full of surprises but he was grinning at her all the same, they truly weren't much different with aspects of animals built right into their DNA. Though she had a point, it did seem to draw something out of him and being away from the savagery of Vegeta had seen him deplete in overall aggression. The fact she opened up proved his point that fighting allowed someone a greater feel of a soul than simply talking, though conversation granted intelligient information, something he valued equally as much.
Levlidian was taken back by her request, though he'd sat and listened with interest as she spoke, the thought of having to further reign in his ki to access the abilities in which she spoke concerned him; he'd never had to reel in his power quite as much as depicted but a grin appeared as he lay on the bravado. "It'll be an honour should I manage it, though, the aspect of my ability is still young at this point. I can teach you what I know and help you develop the way I do it. It's relatively simple," Slowly, the young Saiyan drew closer and rested at a squat extended one hand out to show her his palm. From about it drew the tell tale hum of his Ki manipulating the molecules of the air and vibrating them until finally a ball of said energy ignited.
"This is what you usually see, a ball of concentrated power used by accessing the physics of the world through the bodies natural magnetic field," the intelligence bled through here and his lips curled as though enjoying his elaboration; "However, the field itself is internal so is the origin of the power so-," he balled his hand and the Ki fluttered bleeding into his fist and granting it a deep hue of red; "Draw it in and you get access to the same power but lacking the range, I'll show you how,"
"I figured if I could manage the control and abilities you have, it'd give me the missing link I need to harness my close quarter style. Though now I feel as though i am being granted a heritage of another and you have my thanks for the trust; when next we fight, I plan to have furthered my ability more and I'll show you how then as well. Reckon we'll out do most of these Earthlings just by pushing each other every so often and that would be glorious,"
Lowering his hand, expelling the Ki and sighing he'd fall unto his backside and then take a swig of his drink, smacking his lips, furrowing his brow and peering to it; "The heck is this?"

Hinawa listened to his explanation of how exactly his Ki-infused punch worked. His approach to it was very scientific - she assumed quite a few martial artists would take issue with it getting told in such plain terms, but to her, this was a refreshing change of pace. Her own Ki manipulation was already filled with mysticism, so expanding her own horizons seemed interesting... In response, she concentrated some Ki into her hand - a blue, fading light, her usual color. Concentrating, she tried forcing it into her body... but the energy simply sparked out and disappeared. Yeah, that would need more training than just hearing about it and seeing it once or twice, she was sure of that.
"Oh, that? Its called beer." Chugging the rest of her drink and tossing the can into a corner of her cave, she replied to his curious question. "Light alcoholic beverage, nice to relax with. Just not a good idea to drink too much of it... Wait, do you even have alcohol on Vegeta?" Slowly it dawned on Hinawa how little she really knew of the many alien races that made up the intergalactic community, let alone on what they did and didn't have on their own planets.
"Anyway, its good that you want to learn my techniques. Technically I'm supposed to have kids at some point to pass on the Hyoukai arts, but really... try to imagine ME of all people as a mother. I think not." With a laugh and a smirk, the Zoanthrope stretched on her stone with a slight yawn. "Now, since we're probably both a bit exhausted, that's actually the right set of mind and body to study it. Physical exhaustion makes it easier to really embrace it... So, take a deep breath, relax, and tell me when you're ready for the first step. You need to be somewhat calm for it."

With a slight smile he'd scratch the spines of chocolate black whilst Hinawa attempted his technique, he looked almost disappointed but not surprised and turned his attention unto the drink again; "It's oddly relaxing but reminds me of the ales and what not we have on Vegeta. It would knock out an Oozaru if drunk in large amounts," he chuckled and set the drink down before folding his legs and settling unto his rear in preparation for the transition into a student. Flexing his wrists and rotating his neck, the beast settled into a calmer state and locked his eyes onto her. She had his full attention.
The alcohol itself he'd sampled many a time in different quantities with different treatments bestowed upon it, roots, spices, blood, it had all been strong enough to gut any regular creature but he'd established himself as quite the social being simply by indulging in it. Supposedly, in comparison, the Kitsune had lived a rather sheltered social life and for the most part, levlidian envied that. Solace was all he sought these days to fend and fight his way to the top only approaching others for combat advancement and training. Still, here, he didn't exactly hate being in her company.
"After we complete this, I'll show you how to harness your Ki to such a degree that perhaps we'll achieve something greater the more we master it," with a nod he'd expand his back and sigh. It had been quite a while since anyone had taught him anything. Learning on ones own possessed a level of control he preferred. However, if he could use this ability as she does, perhaps, he could combine the two and turn he himself into a raging inferno to attack souls with.
"First we learn the finer points of meditation yes?" a grin appeared, "So Sensai, do go on,"

"Looking forward to it, Lev. Now, let's try to calm down that hothead of yours." With an appreciate nod, Hinawa took a deep breath. She had never really instructed anyone else before... Levlidian wanted to know how to calm his own Ki to mimic other Ki usages and even access inner fire. She had her work cut out for her now! This would be difficult, but also rewarding if she managed to do it.
"Alright, first step. Make sure you're sitting comfortably. Yes, I'm serious. Any discomfort can disrupt your concentration." Hinawa pulled her own legs up onto the stone and crossed them over, but she knew that body posture had little to do with her own type of meditation - that was all just humbug. The really important part was the ability to calm the self. "After that, next is your breathing. Take deep, deliberate breaths. Don't overdo it, but actively control it. Once you have that, close your eyes - technically not a requirement, but it can make it easier for beginners."
With each step that she explained, Hinawa did the actions herself. She could bring herself into a state of meditation within half a second if she needed to use foxfire, but it was a skill that had to be trained for - at first, it would be a slow, difficult process. Darkness surrounded her as she closed her eyes to continue leading Levlidian down this path to a calm mind.
"Listen to the crackling of the fire, focus on your breathing. Make them fill your mind, at first. Then, imagine yourself... surrounded by a void. Nothing else matters right now, only that void. Any thoughts you feel coming up... feed them to the fire, and concentrate on nothingness. Your goal, your sole purpose, is to become one with the void. The fire around you is your Ki - the energy of your self. By being a void, you can shape the flames around you. Your anger, your joy, your happiness, your sadness - all those feelings can become part of your flames, and with that, you can control them. You can feel them, without being controlled by them... Because you control them, and their flames, from within the void that is your self."
As Hinawa explained, she did as she said. Summoning up the void within her head was child's play for her at this point, but she knew that it had not been easy to reach that stage. The void was what allowed her to choose when to give in to emotion... But while fighting Levlidian earlier, even her own void had become distorted, cracked open. It had allowed her to fight with full savagery... But before she could tell Levlidian how to utilize an unstable inner void, he first had to actually reach it. Without the inner void, transforming Ki into fire could easily lead to accidental self-immolation. Around Hinawa, her Ki aura flared up - a calm, pale blue aura, almost ghostly in appearance. Like a candle in the wind, it flickered slightly, but still radiated her own power, as she fed her own insecurities about losing her inner calm earlier to it.

It was fascinating, the offered explanation was met with intrigued ears and the obsidian eyes widened to her words. "It's such a simple concept," he marvelled and peered to his meaty hands. "I had thought it was a lot harder to conceive but I do something similar to prepare for combat; I'll try it!" the bastion himself seemed overly excited to attempt this. As he watched the Kitsune do her demonstration, he was studying her intently and at an uncomfortable distance of closeness to her; he didn't want to miss a thing.
The scene was everything Levlidian had expected, as Hinawa did as she conveyed her ki lost its flare like edge and his brow sank, no it was still there but turned inwardly. Silence had fallen and shrank before only the caress of the wind outside, this didn't seem so hard. Levlidian closed his eyes, murmuring what she had under his breath until he saw the very void he'd used to depict strategies, darkness reigned but his mind soon conjured all manner of animals and scenes all of which he fended against but lost easily. what was it she had said? Envision a fire deep within his center?
About his form, the fires of his power began to burn as he concentrated but as he resurrected that ideal, his brothers sneering complexion obscured his eyes, the ki began to rampage with the panic vented physically and his brow sank into a pained snarl. A fight swept in shortly after, his brother an he as children and Ca'Drual drove Lev' into the dirt. Laughing ensued and his scowl deepened as the Saiyans inferno ever swelled.
"Focus on the crackling," he snarled as veins protruded his flesh, the relaxation had evaporated and he looked physically strained, blood flashed before his eyes, injuries, war and a deeper growl followed feral in likeness. This was becoming too real, too indepth, by god he was wrong. This was intense, forcing himself to relax? How can that be hard at all!
"Into the void," he repeated but alas he could not let go, the pain flourished through him, the feeling of meat and sinew rocketing into his form that saw him react back in the real world. How many times had he done this? "Pull out," he thought but couldn't, locked in the moment of shoving this memory in the blaze he'd created stole all of his bodies attention and the Ki itself burst around him. rage ruled him and slowly the memory became real, at least to him until he finally reliquished and stumbled onto his back. breathing heavily.
"Damnit," he cursed.

Hinawa had not even really registered how close Levlidian had come to her as she was showcasing the way to meditate in the Hyoukai way, and had to really restrain herself to not blush profusely at suddenly getting this close of an examination when she opened her eyes again. Thankfully she still had the void summoned up, so she was capable of controlling her emotions to a higher degree, and forced back the embarrassment into the flames of her Ki to ignore it. She didn't want Lev to get the wrong idea, after all. They were rivals, and she wanted him to become stronger - it was doubtful that he needed help with it, but seeing someone perform the Hyoukai style... was oddly satisfying.
Now it was her turn to closely watch Levlidian, as he began his meditation. Truthfully, the first task for meditation was simply to relax - asking him to instantly let go of everything to be in control of his own mind was harsh, to say the least. But if anyone should be able to do it... It would be someone already well-versed in martial arts. And she now knew from experience that he wasn't lacking in skill, only in patience and self-control. With a critical red eye, Hinawa watched the fluctuations in the Ki of her, for lack of a better word, friend - how it raged up, calmed down slightly, roared even higher as he slowly let go of more and more of himself to reach a state of calm tranquility.
Leaning in closer, Hinawa also closely examined Levlidian's face. The scowl was growing... Yes, she remembered that stage. When trying to let go of something just made it harder to forget, when ignoring something made it worse... That feeling of hopelessness, as memories overwhelmed the mind. When she had first tried to recall her mother's words on meditation, this had happened to her as well - vivid, life-like memories had sprung up, of the day her parents died. Of the pain, the loss, the sadness and anger... It had been such a cascade of emotions that the kitsune had become a broken wreck for half a day after her first attempt to overcome it, sobbing uncontrollably while once again wishing to make the one at fault pay with his life. Not that she could do anything to make him do so - he was already dead, that Saiyan.
Back to the living Saiyan, Levlidian's Ki bubbled over and burst out, making him stumble in mind and fall backwards. She could see the exhaustion clear on his face - exhaustion and frustration. Without a word, she stepped next to the Saiyan, and reached down her right hand to help him up, her facial expression neutral and composed. "What you just saw belongs to you alone. No words are needed."
Wether he accepted her hand to be helped back onto his seat or refused it, Hinawa took a small step back and continued speaking.
"Meditation in this way is difficult to fully master. When we fought, even my own concentration began to break - cracks in my inner void let me be filled with the more primal side of my deeper instincts. If we had fought for longer, I would've lost control entirely. If you want to master it - or even surpass me in it - repeat it. How often, that is up to you. You CAN force it if you try again and again - that's how I did it. At first, your mind becomes more agitated, failure quicker, until even your soul tires out. That's when you'll see progress. Or do it in small steps like a sane person. But however you choose to do it - once you can generate the void, creating Foxfire is easy. Controlling it, is another matter."
Hinawa held out her right hand in demonstration and closed her eyes, doing the steps as slowly as possible.
"With your void, you control your emotions. But to teach you what that means, you first need to achieve it. So for now, try again."

taking her hand in his, Levlidian rose with aid and growled defensively to himself, the failure wounded the pride of the young Saiyan and without further merit to the thought, he sat once again and started over. "I will figure this out," he sneered and fell into the state he attempted once before. Darkness flared around him and drank him in, at the toes of his boots sat a small fire, screams and betrayals of memories began again but he insisted upon them that they intervene no longer in his concentration. The beasts muscles flexed in his physical form as he strained to fend away the rage and divert it deep within himself.
She'd examined him and he felt the need to show he can at least grasp the concept. having his own rival over looking the training of her own technique placed a burden upon levlidian he hadn't felt in a long while. About him sprang the inferno but its aura no longer wavered, it stood straight up. the deep hum surrounded him and pearls of sweat rose about the flesh that coated him and trailed the lines of his thick form. Control was absolute but it was difficult beyond all measure.
Again, lev' was faced with the sound of war all about him, ignoring it he quickly fed the imagery into the blaze igniting it further and his aura remained stable. he was doing it, a smug grin emerged but then he saw another image, his Father, his smaller self, the beatings he took, the savagery of his training and the control began to waver. Lost to the emotions of his temper he let loose an outburst, a roar and rose quickly to lean on the caverns walls. The beasts eyes parted and he found himself panting, muscles strained to reflect a level of pain mostly on an emotional level.
What was this? "Crap," he hissed and struck the wall with his fist, a resounding thump filled the air and Lev' stepped back, "I can do this Hinawa," he barked before she could speak and sat again, determination unwavered he started over, reaching further each time he managed it until hours passed. resting on hsi side, panting, weighed down by the sheer effort he rolled onto his back and began to thump the floor in an aggravated way. Levlidian had been at this for a while, each step he took felt smaller and smaller and now he was exhausted but unrelenting. Sitting up, he looked to Hinawa in the fading light and asked; "What am i doing wrong?" each time he'd tried, lev' forced it, he used brute force to acquire calm and it lasted for longer and longer but drained so very much out of him every time. frustration was apparent and he would hang his head.
"Perhaps I shold take a break and perhaps teach you the basics to my ability," he asked in a defeated tone, very un-Saiyan like.

Levlidian was nothing if not persistent, and the young woman overseeing his training had to admit that she admired that trait. Every single time he failed, he instantly went back to it, constantly trying, constantly failing... For the moment, she simply watched. The pattern was quickly realized... At first, his control was very, very good. It would appear that his surface thoughts and memories were something he could adequately ignore as he created the void. The fire in the cavern slowly burned down, yet she stayed silent and kept watching her rival with her red eyes, examining his Ki and the feeling it gave off.
But apparently, even Lev of all people had a breaking point. Even the proud warrior couldn't help but give up, eventually - defeated by his own mind. Her face was calm, neutral, not showing any emotion as she looked down on him. The light in the cave was fading further, obscuring both of their forms slightly. This was it - she could either help him, and possibly lead to him surpassing her far sooner than she anticipated... Or she could let this first struggle be for nothing, and claim more strength for her own. But with the persistence Levlidian had shown, it wasn't a hard decision to make. Above anything else, Hinawa wanted to see just how high her rival could go. Just where his true limit was.
Still quiet, Hinawa took a step closer to her rival - and laid a firm hand on his shoulder.
"I can see the pattern. I can see what gets in your way. Whenever you see what you see - you can't let go of it... You try to fight it down, and it gets stronger. But letting go is not something easily done..." She wouldn't allow weakness from him, not now. She wouldn't just let him give up and give him the chance to teach her - not before she used this lowest point of his for his own advancement.
"Come on. One final time, together. I can't see within your mind, but I can anchor your emotions." Taking both of his hands if he allowed it, Hinawa would then lay her own forehead against his, as long as he permitted it, before closing her eyes. "Follow my lead, Lev."
Her voice was different now, too - instead of mocking and carefree, as she was when simply being around him, it was soft and caring. She doubted that a proud warrior like him would accept someone like that normally, but right now, that was what she truly felt - and she would use her emotions freely, to guide him to control his own. If he allowed it, then she would be here - as close to him as she could be, while her own calm aura served as a point for him to rely upon and help him. But even if he refused to let her get this close, she would at least still be able to offer her own aura, even if it would be a substantially less helpful gesture if she was further away.

The motion of her hands folding about his as the young Saiyan prepared to start again, his brow sank to the notion and parting his lips to object to any help was soon silenced as her forehead met his. Within such close quarters he could almost feel her calm wash over him, envelope and comforting he'd bites back the need to spit a stubborn retort and stared straight into her closed eyes. This kindness was completely alien to him and though tentative, his fingers closed around her hand. The long, dark mane drawn across his forehead beneath her flesh and the scent wasn't at all terrible.
This was odd, usually he'd have shoved her away and insisted he could do it, a quip would follow, though the notion of aid and her sudden care for his development threw Levlidian. It didn't feel at all unpleasant and he tried her way. Was this what it was like to have a friend? "Alright," he answered quietly. Pride fell before acceptance and he shivered against the touch of another, such a mild aura held such a sway as she suggested? Quizzically he adjusted the bones of his jaw and took in her features at such close quarter before closing his eyes.
The darkness swallowed him and again he was faced with the crimson hue of a biting fire, again he allowed the memories to wash over him and flow into the tinder; exciting it. However, the void owned an odd hue of blue about it, the calm swept around him as the screams began. Monstrous explosions, his Father and brother beating upon him and pushing the little Saiyan to extreme lengths and tapping into that latent potential. It was odd, the rage didn't come, it was still there after all he could feel it and with a much smaller effort than before, he let it go. All that pain, the feeling of defeat, it washed over him but passed just as quickly, why wasn't it bothering him? he had to know how Hinawa managed such an effect on him.
Time and again he was faced with the difficulty of his past choices, the murder he'd committed and it all flowed like a river into the bosom of the fire, about the Saiyan his inferno swept but danced at a steady pace, his power radiated and yet the form it danced about remained collected and tensed only when faced with the deep darkness of his acts. Pearls of sweat began to trail down him chilling the body beneath the cold air of the mountains. This went on for hours until his eyes peeled open to reveal his hue completely at ease. The rage burned but remained chained down, there was no use of force only adequate measures of guidance and he snapped his eyes to meet hers but remained silent. This was an odd feeling, and his lips curled; "I'm not sure how you get used to this," he muttered.
It was true, as he fought he allowed his energies to rage a long with him but it made it difficult to think, to conceive a victory through pre-planning but now, he was at maximum power and thinking perfectly clear as an ocean. The channelling ki was a constant reminder and felt as though it pumped through his veins like a tamed Wolf. A stilled predator allowing his prey close but through want to understand the ideals behind her technique. "If you tell anyone about this I may have to kill you," he added on a hushed tone, "Usually souls I allow this close are those I intend to punch three feet from me soon after," huffing a strand of her hair free of his nose he'd allow the grin to widen still and his ki fluctuated suddenly for but a moment; licking at the ceiling before he claimed control again.

Hinawa lost complete track of time during the process. Levlidian's ki was a flowing, raging river at one point, a calm lake at another... Hinawa kept a clear focus onto her own Ki the entire time, trying to be an example and a beacon of calm, controlled nature against whatever it was that kept her rival chained down in his emotional, unstable state. Hours flew by without either of them saying a word or moving... Really, she had never thought that she'd ever get this close to a Saiyan. Let alone one that was technically her rival. Heck, he wasn't even really her type... If she had not currently been in her meditative trance, then being so close to Lev would've probably messed with her head at least slightly.
But eventually, it was done. Instead of one calm and one wild Ki, the two calm, controlled flames burned in unison. Opening their eyes simultaneously, Hinawa and the Saiyan shared one quiet moment as the first step of this training neared completion. In response to his smirk, Hinawa had one on her face as well. "Oh, you get used to it after the first two or three times. Then, it becomes second nature."
The Zoanthrope chuckled slightly at his soft voice still trying to be threatening, but Levlidian had nothing to fear from her. "Right back to you. You tell anyone how big of a softie I can be and I'll hunt you across the cosmos if I have to, you hear me?" Hinawa couldn't help but give Lev a honest smile. He was way taller than her, built out of solid muscle, and littered with scars - pretty much the opposite to what she'd consider nice to look at - but he really had a soft, nice center, if you got through to it. "I hope you can hold back that punching reflex, you brute. I never planned on showing this side of me to anyone, so you better appreciate the gesture, you hear me?"
Yes, no matter what would happen in the future... she'd probably never get tired of teasing Lev. Their auras were still in unison, and the Saiyan easily regained control of it as it flared up slightly for a moment, like a perfectly managed fire. With the thought of fire, though, a slight shiver suddenly went through Hinawa - and she noticed that the only sources of light in the cave right now were the two auras of Ki around the two of them, the fire having turned into nothing but ash right now. Sitting still for so long with perfectly managed Ki had managed to blend out her senses from her mind completely until now.
"Wow, this took a bit longer than I thought... Let me get this fire started again."
Attempting to move, the kitsune girl tried pulling her hands free of Levlidian's hands - only for a wave of sudden, completely unexpected weakness to wash over her, causing her to collapse against his chest, almost falling over completely. The void within her was gone almost instantly, and she could feel the color shoot into her cheeks.
"W-wha... S-s-sorry, must've gotten my Ki... a bit used up right now..." Hinawa tried pulling away from the Saiyan again, but couldn't even move an inch. It was as if every last bit of strength had been drawn from her through the extended meditation session, and every muscle in her body felt dreadfully tired and out of energy.

Levlidian's smirk extended as she returned the threat followed by a scoff that lacked so much humility if it wasn't for the amusement in his dark eyes, you'd assume he#d adorned an air of irritability. Their auras remained in sync up till her notion toward the cool air and he nodded in agreement seeking to aid her stand by releasing her hands until the collapse began. "Whoa," he reacted by catching her, the warmth of his drained form enveloping her and one arm settled over her shoulders before he burst out laughing. It was funny, at least to him in an ironic way, how many times had he exceeded his limits this way as well but upon realisation that truly she couldn't manage it alone; he stood and collected her legs beneath his arm whilst supporting her head with his chest and strode for the dry embers.
"It takes a while to learn to keep a little aside," he muttered and peered down at her with a warm grin, "I do this more often than not but using my technique requires you learn to keep a little aside; though I'm sure you usually don't spend so long helping someone learn your ways," he quivered and adjusted his stance. It was true, meditation to this extreme level sure drew it out of you. As the young Saiyan settled by the embers he reached across with his hand and out spread his palm. from the center would spark a simple ki manipulation using the void he help close and the blaze reignited. Still supporting Hinawa he settled back against the cavern wall and free watched his palm for a moment.
The warmth of the cavern bloomed like a flower, spreading over the folded limbs now acting as a seat and filling the darkness with a glower of orange and red. It was an odd situation but one Levlidian found himself enjoying more than hating; to cease fighting wasn't as bad as it felt. Here in the night he'd found some solitude with an unlikely creature, until recently he was even aware her kind existed and assumed it was the familiarity of her that eased him so.
"I've never been able to do that before," he muttered then peered down at her and only now noticed the flourish of colour about the cheeks, he furrowed his brow as if he'd not quite connected the jigsaw that was a woman's mind. It didn't take long, soon he too widened his eyes and lowered his hand to the floor to support himself straightening up and allowed it to rest as she sat in his lap.
"Not used to being so close to my wretched kind hm?" the utterance was partly bitter, partly mocking and he nodded as the beast looked on into the flames. Sure enough he#d never looked at another in quite a way that would suggest interest. Fighting was all he lived for but it wasn't hard pressed to notice he acted differently about Hinawa; even he had noticed and the switch baffled him. "I didn't know I had a side like this," he admitted mostly to the flames, "Everything I've experienced until now has been consistent combat or berating; it makes a nice change to know someone like you," he cleared his throat and tipped his chin up as his Pride enveloped him a smidgeon; "Then its a pact, if either of us speaks of the others kinder sides we fight and pound some sense into the other," a small laugh follows and again he finds his eyes drifting to watch her a moment; his complexion unreadable but the eyes showed a level of curiosity; curious of what? Well who knows. Now the void had drifted back to normal and his ki diminished to its dormant state, he hadn't noticed his other hand hadn't relinquished hers.

Levlidian's warmth was quite pleasant and nice, which just made Hinawa's face take on an even deeper shade of red. She wasn't entirely sure if she absolutely hated this feeling, enjoyed it, or both at the same time - she just knew that she both wanted this to end immediately and for it to continue for a bit longer. When was the last time someone actually picked her up...? She was pretty sure that it had actually never happened before. As Levlidian re-ignited the fire with his Ki in much better control than before, she actually couldn't help but smile, despite her embarrassment. It had actually worked - giving it her all to support the Saiyan was worth it for this moment alone.
As he sat back down, Hinawa remained quiet for a moment, simply enjoying and dreading the situation at the same time. She leaned against the much taller man, and as he commented on being close to someone like him, she scoffed with a smirk herself. "I'm not used to being close to anyone, period. But I don't exactly hate this. If you were anyone else I'd be punching you through the ceiling right about now." The hand that was still held within his gripped it a bit tighter. Damn it, he was just some Saiyan brute, so why...? Was it because of their similarities? Or because of how different they were as people despite them? She had no idea why, but she enjoyed it - being this close to Levlidian. The color in her face subsided a bit, as she continued to lean against his chest. Yeah, this was... pleasant, despite how weird it felt. Even the thoughts of how Emer would probably blow them both the hell up if he knew about this didn't matter anymore to her.
"All I've ever known was hatred and solitude. Meeting you... has probably been one of the best things that ever happened to me."
Letting that hang in the air for a moment, she smirked as their eyes met for a moment. "Don't let that get to your head, though. I still plan on being better than you, at everything. But for now..." With a content sigh, she closed her eyes for a moment. Sure, thanks to being more muscle than anything else, Levlidian wasn't exactly a comfortable person to sit on, but hey, she was used to using hard rocks as her chairs. Really, this was an appreciated change of things.
"Let's just stay like this for a bit longer, alright?..."
