Noxa’s emotional catharsis came through means a little different than most people; there wasn’t much screaming and howling, but instead just a good deal of slashing and gouging. Once the writhing swarm of scarlet had died down Noxa found the pesky little hybrid on the floor, choking on her own blood. The precious sight of one’s last moments of life. Noxa crouched, reaching lower to take a hold of the body’s neck.
She rose to her feet, just as she rose Tekuma’s mangled body in the air with an outstretched hand.
Their eyes met. Tekuma’s eyes like bright green emeralds, whose lights were slipping — growing dimmer and dimmer by the moment. Noxa’s own were as jet-black obsidian orbs, whose light had never glimmered in the first place; staring back at the hybrid was only the piercing xanthic glare of retribution.
The hand that held onto Tekuma found itself swinging as the woman’s body was swiftly sent out of the immediate area; it was no longer important. Instead, it was out of sight just soon enough for Noxa to watch as Kazar attempted to rush towards her. The woman’s arms crossed beneath her substantial bust. It seemed like a bad idea to focus on what she was doing, especially when an enemy that outranked him so much had just declared killing intent.
“If I were you I’d worry more about Carva, who has already made up his mind about killing you — and less about me, who is still mulling it over.” The redhead advised, strongly urging Kazar to turn around and mind his business. Unfortunately, for the both of them, Kazar would continue to go on about her semantics.
“Her words were ‘I killed Captain Nova’; that’s all I had to hear. I couldn’t give the smallest iota of a fuck about what you are proud of or not. If I wasn’t there to protect one of the only lives that mean anything to me, then I sure as hell will avenge it. Besides, everyone is subject to Natural Law; despite what values have been drilled into your head the cold reality of this universe doesn’t change: the weak die and the strong survive.” Her words were blunt and rigid, much like her expression, which hadn’t changed since the hybrid was butchered. The progenitor’s exquisite traits were still mostly stoic with a light touch of consternation.
That, however, soon changed. The woman was left to watch as the clear sky began to be shrouded behind a heavy canopy of clouds, that with them, brought a heavy monsoon. The unnatural, unexpected tempest with its occasional flashes of lightning soon found itself drenching Noxa’s luscious form; her scarlet mane, however, refused to be matted by the rain — her red locks continued to writhe regardless of wind or rain.
The torrential downpour, alongside the rising in power, caused a sensation of Deja Vu to settle onto the predator; this all felt far too similar. It wasn’t until his hair began to flicker into an auriferous state that her she fully understood why: this half saiyan was transforming!
A super saiyan. Noxa’s jaws found themselves clenching as the realization came to form itself. This wasn’t good. Every single example of a Super Saiyan the woman had ever experienced ended poorly for her. The stranger’s abuse; her teacher’s scorn; Doctor Katsu’s own dissertation on Zucceta… Every Super Saiyan she had encountered vastly eclipsed her power, but she wasn’t going to stand down if he chose to take her head on. His power, despite rising, was still — strangely enough — inconsequential.
She couldn’t help but feel a satisfied smile tug on her lips. The memory of her own evolution fresh on her mind; the moment her instincts resonated with her more logical mind; the moment the previously feral progenitor came to be in control of her own power; the moment Noxa came to realize she had a stake in the life of this planet — that she had people whose lives she valued above her own.
The little simper faded completely.
Tekuma had allegedly taken one of those lives.
With one of the few people whose existence Noxa treasured gone… Noxa felt as though an indirect failure on her part; Tekuma’s death was not only earned, in her eyes. It was a necessity; a judgment of which not even divine intervention had a right to question.
Then, finally, it seemed his emotion-fueled outburst came to a crescendo; his power blossomed into a swirl of golden light. Noxa narrowed her eyes, attempting to see if his eyes had also changed, she wasn’t sure; she didn’t remember what they were like before. Still, with his power's awakening there was an unmistakable growth to his power, that much Noxa couldn't deny. While respectable, it wasn't going to be enough should he wish to take her own.
It seemed that newly ascended saiyan wasn’t keen on following her advice. With a burst of speed, he had positioned himself behind Noxa. Something told her he wasn’t going to be listening to reason anytime soon. He had reached a plateau of power, but he wasn’t quite at Noxa’s level just yet; there was still another leap — albeit not very large — to be made.
Still, his mistake would likely become apparent as Noxa’s hair violently whipped about, both the strands and vines working to parry or counter his blows. Her aspect began to change, just slightly. Despite the foul mood Tekuma had plunged her into there was a bit of entertainment to be found here — especially considering the fact she could now feel the power the android was summoning — a power he had clearly stated was meant for the saiyan.
It was clear Kazar wasn’t prioritizing his targets very well. Maybe that was it — maybe Carva had hit the nail on the head; this hybrid had lost his mind, too busy with ‘his new toy’ to truly assess the situation as it should be.
As Kazar’s catharsis was being released the redheaded vixen found she had enough. She turned around, her right arm sweeping in a wide arc to slap away the pestering fly.
“I think you have bigger problems to deal with; don’t act like a child — if you’re fighting to the death do it right!” The same arm that had attempted to slap away at Kazar found itself cocking upward, Noxa’s right hand gesturing with a thumb back to the android. “I think your biggest problem is over yonder.” As to attempt and further illustrate her point the woman’s aura would flare — an opaque black that blazed from her form, with a ruby red outline. The Progenitor’s ki inflated to 150% its normal size.
It was a bluff; a gambit to attempt and set this child’s mind straight.
As if reacting to the sudden rise in power Noxa’s body found itself reacting violently, namely her carapace. The cloth that billowed against the tempest found itself tightening around her wet form, attempting to reform into something more suitable for a fight to the death. Her carapace ‘coat’s opened ‘V’ found itself rapidly shutting, the petals rushing to meet at the middle and hide her flesh. Her armor attempted to clamp down like a maw — or zip up like a jacket. However, the same hand that earlier gestured to the saiyan found itself stopping the motion.
Noxa held the damp cloth around her chest open, refusing to allow her carpace's maw to shut.
“No.” She reminded herself, speaking audible before her thoughts returned to the sanctuary of her mind. ‘No, we’re not dressing for a battle; we’re dressing for a funeral.’

His power, his aura, his hair, his eyes. It's all changed. His power rose to new heights and his hair and eyes had changed color. His personality went blank, and silent. A constant stare stood on his face looking at everything that he see's. Once the transformation settled he did take a few seconds to flex his arms and hist fists under the new power. But he was distracted for a minute. He remembered what happen, Noxa killed Tekuma...Hmph, a half-bad choice to make. As he charged at Noxa it became immediately clear he got surpassed again. Just as he got to her, her power felt as if it artificially grew double in size! Easily he got swiped off to the side by her, which lead to her speaking. She spoke to him concerning Carva and what he intends on doing. "So it seems...Hmm, how about this Noxa. We'll continue this on later, because you make a fair point about Carva. I can look at him and see he's going to blow me up. Hell he'll possibly blow up Earth if he charges that up enough. Look fine, i'll deal with him for now. But don't you forget the reason i even transformed. You killed Tekuma and i plan to do something later when this gets settled. Besides i can't even fight you equally now, your now transformation is double my own strength. Me trying to ponder on and waste what valued time i have left of my Super Saiyan state is useless. I have to keep myself calm and collected, or the best i can manage. And regulate my ki long enough to sustain it for the fight. Otherwise my ki will burn out as fast as a fire in the middle of a storm." He turns around and looks at Carva. There's only ONE thing he can do now to prevent taking the full effects of this attack. A classic move he's had since the days of his early 10k's or so. He lowers his hands to his sides and powers up. His golden-yellow aura flares around him as he tries to collect very small amounts of energy.
"I have a plan. I'm gonna use my Ki Barrier technique in a few minutes, i just need to collect a little more energy before i do it. Because if i use my Ki Barrier now and charge it, it won't charge as fast as i need it to. If i wait an extra minute and then use it, i'll charge it 66% over and over again. The weakest my Ki Barrier can be is 33% or so of my current power, and charging that requires more time i don't have. If i let this go until the next minute or two, i should be able to charge up the Ki Barrier at an extent, and block most of the oncoming attack if he fires it." (Short post i know. But you know, this is all i can do.) KP: +1 2/3 (no KP used) Carva

His power continued to spike. Deep down, Carva's organic tissues would feel as if they were on fire but the Super SaiyAndroid would grind through that pain. Debris would slowly float into the air as he drew on his endless well of power, his metallic joints glowing with the heat of his energy. This...this was his most powerful attack, and as of right now he saw Kazar as a cornered rat.
"Any last words, hybrid? Have you nothing else to say before I unleash the wrath of hell upon you? Or would you prefer to just stand there, strategizing with yourself, hoping against hope that you were going to defeat me?" His eyes had developed a bright azure glow now as the electricity and flames arced off of his mechanical form.
He'd address Noxa with taking his focus away from his prey. Carva was the perfect warrior with the pride of a Saiyan Prince, and as the two orbs of energy appeared on his palms, they'd quiver and pulsate with this deadly energy the SaiyAndroid had trained. "You were right, Noxa. In the grand scheme of things, this child has forgotten who is reaper is. He's taken his attention off a man he once attempted to bully with his meager power..." Carva growled. "But now, he learns...he learns that karma is a bitch! No man shall surpass me! I am Carva! I am perfection!"
"You thought you could save lives, Kazar. But what you failed to realize is that I KNOW that I can take them! If you cared enough for that stranger to waset your emotion on her..." his voice thundered over the mountains, like a God, as he brought the palms of his hands together. "...THEN JOIN HER IN HELL!" And with that, all that energy would flow from Carva in the form of a large, orange wave of ki that flew straight at Kazar. If it were to hit him, it would certainly destroy the hybrid, obliterate him even. The blast would send a shock wave throughout the oceans surrounding the continent, and all Kazar would see would be a flash of bright light as it engulfed him!

Maybe it was the fact that Noxa had seldom interacted with anything sentient for the first eighteen years of her life; maybe it was the fact that when reaching a new plateau of power the mind is muddled. Whichever the case Noxa was left absolutely confounded at what happened. Kazar — the new super saiyan — decided to look Carva dead in the eye and simply narrate his plans.
The amazon’s visage was overtaken by confusion. Why would someone do that — outright not only give away their plans, but to go as far as to give precise calculations as to the intensity of their abilities?
Maybe this was all some kind of twisted fever dream — that had to be it. No one wielding this much power could make a mistake like that. At the very least this had to be some gambit — a ruse employed by Kazar to trick Carva…
But what if it wasn’t?
There was no tone of treachery in that hybrid’s voice — in fact, he sounded both sincerer and utterly distracted, going as far as to turn his back on Noxa.
‘Oh my god; this is really happening, isn’t it?’ Noxa thought to herself. The absolute bizarre nature of this event managing to completely eclipse the raging ire that toiled within her just moments ago. It wasn’t enough to bring a simper to her aspect, but it was more than enough to cause a rumbling chuckle to escape her throat.
The woman began to step away from to Kazar. Her gait was that of a person with plenty of time to kill — and time wasn’t the only thing on her plate. Noxa's opaque-black aura continued to intensify; its movements slow like the licks of a gentle flame. The progenitor’s aura grew in intensity to the point where her figure began to lose all texture or shape; the only visible light emitting from her form was the neon glow of her auriferous irises. Even the radiating golden glow of Kazar’s aura refused to reflect from her body, causing Noxa to look like a vantablack, two-dimensional figure looming a good few dozen feet behind the 6’7” man.
“That’s a nice barrier you’re planning to use there, kid… It would be a shame if… Something were to happen to it…” Came Noxa’s voice, nothing more than a silky whisper caressing against the violently-whipping air caused by Carva’s apocalyptic power.
Another surge overtook the woman’s body, whose size bulked in all proportions: Noxa activated No’va — a technique her instructor warned her against using, albeit this seemed like one of the few times that not using it would be almost irresponsible.
The woman’s hip swayed ever so slightly to the right, while her left hand rose over her face. In that menacingly ridiculous pose Noxa felt as her power began to gather; causing the gentle lick of her aura to become more and more agitated — much unlike her state of mind. Now that a bit of time passed, and her state of mind had been slightly diffused by Kazar’s affable behavior.
She could help Kazar — that was an option, but should she? The power she held now would certainly be enough to at least defuse the situation between the two warriors; enough to give Kazar and Carva both chances to live to see another day. Maybe doing so would earn both their favors… Maybe she could heal them somehow — maybe she could act as a mediator and bring the two under her wing.
'What should I do?'

And here it is. The time is now and it's coming in quick! Carva's attack that's double his powerlevel races towards him! His aura gathers up ki even quicker! Just a little more! And-! Got it! The final lick of power he needs to fend off most of his attack! Although he won't get the charge it anymore then what he has to use it for, he can definitely take off most of it. He's done the math in his head for the most part, and he knows he'll survive. However he knows he'll be severely crippled or roughly harmed. His aura drops and now it begins. He shoves both hands infront of him and grunts. He expells all his ki and life-force out of him, or 66% of it around him. He manipulates his ki into a compressed barrier of ki. His life-force surrounds him in Golden essence keeping him mostly fine inside the barrier.
"Alright here it comes-....N-Noxa...'Oh shit..' (In mind) Noxa please listen, and listen carefully. I took your advice and took more priorities into Carva as you said, and i'm glad you told me that. I could've died if you hadn't told me when i was distracted....I forgive you....You done some good, but you did kill Tekuma and i'll remember it. But you saved me by telling me about Carva...Thank you..." Before the attack reaches him he senses her power split in two. Each orb of ki pointed at him and Carva. He paused for a quick moment, and his breath sharply left him. His heart may have just skipped a beat while he was at it. But before he could even realize what she was doing, or rather thinking. Carva spoke to him...And this didn't help things at all..^You thought you could save lives, Kazar. But what you failed to realize is that I KNOW that I can take them! If you cared enough for that stranger to waset your emotion on her...THEN JOIN HER IN HELL^ (doesn't count on WC) He clenched his fists tightly. Although this angered him more and his Ki Barrier flared brightly, he isn't going to take a risk and blow himself up to Carva's attack due to words. He looks over at Noxa. "Do the right thing Noxa...I look at you and it is hard to tell, but i can sense good in you. You were willing enough to alarm me of Carva's presence in my own pit of rage to prevent me making a same mistake as you done. Rather then just killing me on the spot with the power you had just possessed. Look at Carva, he's just evil. He's taunting me over the death of Tekuma and he's willing to takes lives if he has too, to hurt me physically or emotionally. I never bullied him, i only met him one other time many many months ago. I only showed my full power to him, and he takes it as 'bullying' all because i was stronger than him. I didn't mean anything by what i did at that time. What he'd be willing to do if he was motivated enough is much worse on hundreds of times fold what i could possibly bring myself into doing. Noxa i really don't want to kill him, i don't. Even while he wants to i can't bring myself into it. But he's leaving me with not many choices but to. Please do the right thing and follow what you think you should do. Whatever your heart thinks, or what you think right here and now is the right thing to do. That's all that matters."
He looks back up seeing Carva's attacking racing to him ever so more, getting closer and closer by the passing second. In just moments this attack will hit him, and he'll be left badly hurt. His heartbeat starts to race, and his breath becomes sharp and fast. His tail unfurled out behind him and shaked wildly, the fur on it spiked up. It's time, it's gonna happen. And it's gonna happen now.. "Noxa look at me. I've done the best i could ever do on this world while there's times i feel that i could've done so much more (Doctor Who). I've only saved maybe few hundreds of civilian lives on 1 or 2 occasions. I've trained hard, lived a rough life and moved on from my past mistakes. I wanted to do better, better myself and train harder to do better. But i kept training to much i couldn't help many souls. Not even Tekuma...Even if you killed her, i'm held responsible. I could have helped, and prevented it far before you ever killed her. But i didn't and i slipped up my chances! I should've gotten her to safety, i should've helped her before trying to fight Carva. And it's on my hands alone that she died...You're the killer but i was the one who could've stopped it from happening. My efforts was in vain to help her...But Noxa you have a chance to try, a chance to make an effort..Please try all you can and don't give up..Please do better then me if at all any better..Do the ri-RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!" Mid-sentence it happen. Carva's attack landed and dealt a very bad injury. Light flashed across the entire desert, and past the clouds. He blocked most of the damage, and the rest got split in half. He took quite the hit. During the explosion, his Ki Barrier shattered and within mili-seconds all his ki and life-force returned to him to try and keep him from dying. After the blinding light, and the smoke clearing. He's laying on the ground deformed. He got knocked out only for a small instant from the badly timed explosion. Rain started to fall back on the ground and onto him after the explosion. He lightly grunts and slowly gets up looking at Carva. He picks himself up onto his feet and sharply breathes. He grunts heavily as he re-activates his Super Saiyan state, his aura flaring up into a golden color and his hair spiking into a golden-yellow. When he was finally up and transformed, he fell onto one knee and coughed up blood onto the floor. His body was lathered in scratches, bruises and mostly cuts that lead to light bleeding. He forced him back up and dropped into his fighting stance, sluggishly. He looks over at Noxa before staring at Carva. "...D-Do the right t-thing.." Ki Barrier (UP2) Used at 66%! Blocked around 700k damage, and due to bleed-through damage, the rest of the attack was split in half! Kazar took a heavy 880 or so thousand damage! Carva KP: 0/3

As his attack shook the Earth like an Earthquake, Carva's face would twist into a sinister grin, illuminated by the brilliant energy of his attack. The attack would hit the hybrid's barrier like a ton of bricks, the point of impact becoming concave as beams of light leaked off the barrier in general. "How long can you keep this up, Kazar!? How long until you break!? Getting tired. Aren't you?!" Barked the big bad wolf as he roared, pouring more power into the attack, his eyes flashing with devilish intent as the beam finally broke the barrier. As his beam struck true, he'd cackle with glee. Yes, the android was laughing.
The beam faded out after engulfing Kazar for a moment, and Carva could see the damage he'd done to the hybrid. He could see it, and he loved it, and as he lpoked at his hands he thought to himself. Incredible! I've never possessed such power! Have I... his mouth would drop open, eyes widening slightly. ...surpassed a Super saiyan? I never thought it possible...but if anyone was to do it, it might as well be me. He spoke allowed, pride ringing in his voice as he landed gently about ten feet from Kazar. "I will beat you, monkey. Make no mistake of that. The pain I gave caused? It is but a fraction of that which I am capable of!"
His scouters would beep as he picked up the power increase in Noxa, his azure eyes aglow as they cut through the voluptuous Bio-Android with the red hair and he'd think. What the hell!? Is she...is she trying to kill both of us? No matter...she can't kill me...but still...I need to end this quickly. I may have to fight her as well...which could be fun... his eyes would light up with excitement as they focused once again on Kazar.
The android could see the weakness in his prey, the sluggish movements as he braced to attack. Whether be survived his attack or not, Carva had weakened him. It'd only be a matter of time before Kazar fell if Carva continued his onslaught and so he did. The Android charged forward and drew back a fist, driving it with all of his force toward the soft abdomen of the hybrid. If he doubled over, Carva would raise his left knee and strike at Kazar''s jaw with bone shattering force.

There was an indescribable sensation that came along with Noxa’s power surge; even as she reached another plateau it seemed her mind had remained relatively lucid. It was not too long ago that the redheaded amazon could remember the onset of feral flare and mind fog at the slightest gathering of power. No longer, it seemed. Her heart hammered in her chest; her blood pumped through her veins; her ki shrouded her form as the atmosphere began to quake under her gathering force… But her mind remained her own.In fact, that was all she could her now: the thumping of blood rushing at her ears. Everything else beyond that played as a silent movie.
Strangely enough, one thing managed to cut through the deafening veil of power that had temporarily muffled her ears: the struggling super saiyan’s requests for mercy.
The hybrid’s pleas were not something she could count on as being genuine; dead men tell no tales, but they sure do bargain a whole lot — that any predator could confirm.
Without any delay, the woman felt the blackness draining from her body; the ventablack being pushed away as form and texture returned to her. The opaque black ki being pushed to her back, where a surge of energy was revived. Two massive turbines of ki roared to life, sprout from her shoulder blades. Their purpose to help propel the virago forwards toward her target(s); despite this, she had yet to move an inch. Into her right arm ki began to swell; into her tightening fist, which now bulked in a grotesque mass of twitching ki-infused muscle, went most of her energy.
“...D-Do the right t-thing..”
Kazar's words reached Noxa's ears; he had a point. Noxa understood what she had to do; he was correct: she had to do the right thing. Noxa’s right arm cocked itself back and the woman lunged forward, sending herself hurling towards the men at many times the speed of sound.Through the still-raging tempest, Noxa found herself tearing through both the rain and the wind, leaving a clear trail of her path after the fact. A singular motion of an arm would be made as she closed the distance between them; a swing. A swing from its chambered position behind her back to a hooking motion upwards into the heavens.
That uppercut came to smashed through the hybrid’s chest, her fist having changed into the shape of a claw at the very last moment; she made an attempt to punch through, and hook, the man’s torso to grab his still-beating heart.
Should her strike be true, Noxa would come to look past Kazar’s shoulder and into the lump of throbbing red muscle that struggled in her palm. Her tender fingers enclosing around the organ as his red, hot, meaning of life began to drench her body. She could feel his blood beginning to run down her exposed mid-section and saturate her cloth.
“Thank you for the advice. I realized that the right thing to do was erase all the evidence of my actions.” The eviscerated flesh at the end of her open palm would begin to sink into the woman’s hand as her flesh melded with it — consumed the heart. “Letting you walk away is a liability. In your eyes my sin was great enough to push you to a new stage of being; I am an affront to everything you stand for.”
Noxa’s black / yellow eyes turned right just enough for the woman to look at the back of his head, attempting to make at the very least a half-hearted endeavor to address him properly.
“I don’t know if you can still hear me, but for what it’s worth: unlike what humans will have you believe, this isn’t personal. I simply don’t like loose endings. If I let you walk away now that would always be at the back of my mind — that one day you'll try and find me. Things are just easier this way; I'll be able to sleep better at night knowing that you'll be sleeping forever.”
At that point whatever was left of her energy would begin roaring around the woman; there was no more gentle aura. This was a blazing spectacle meant to consume and corrode away at the body that was pressed against her — she was going to burn him until there was nothing left but dust and ash.

As he stood there looking at the blood soaked Noxa, the Super SaiyAndroid's azure eyes would at first be filled with sheer rage. He'd fought Kazar this whole time with the intention of terminating the mouthy hybrid, who had talked far too much shit for his own good. Carva was the perfect warrior! How could she have just stolen his kill?! He stood there, trembling in anger, flaming aura licking the darkening sky around him. Suddenly...he closed his eyes and commented. "Hrmf. Make no mistake about it, I could have beaten that fool myself...but..." his platinum hair would flicker for a moment, finally returning to it's pitch black color, heat returning to the SaiyAndroid's body and dissappearing. He'd open his eyes, folding his arms over his chest. His amber eyes locked on her's for a moment. "...thank you. He needed to be silenced, by any means necessary."
Dropping those huge arms to his sides, he'd move to Noxa and look her over, taking in every curve and features. Needless to say, his organics would be affected by the beautiful redhead who stood before him, the blood covering those curves making her attractive to him. As he scanned her, his lips curled upward into a devilish, almost flirtatious grin. "Hrm...let's see who you are...I think my computers can tell me. Let's see."
A voice spoke to Carva, the cold and mechanical Logic. He'd hear beeps as information on Noxa would appear on his HUD. "The Virago, Noxa. She is slightly more powerful than you, Lord Carva. But Doctor Breech wanted you to return to Konats with her and the missing Katsu Yuda. She is your target, but not marked for death."
Carva would nod to himself, his mission briefings playing once more in his more. "She looks even better than she did in the bar..." He'd comment out loud to Logic, then his expression would just turn into a tiny smirk as he would address Noxa. "...you and I, Lady Noxa, should go somewhere more private if you will. We have much to discuss."

With the last of the body having turn to ash — and the thumping muscle having become one with Noxa — the woman looked up to the SaiyAndroid; he didn’t look happy. In fact, there was some kind of familiar ire about him — an anger that burned off of a familiar fuel. Noxa came to quickly understand that it was likely pride. The woman couldn’t directly sense his power level, but considering the kind of blows he had dealt she more than understood that whatever kind of punch packed it was would have been a sizable one.
Once more, while she could not directly sense the kind of power that this ‘Carva’ had, his change in appearance likely signaled some kind of power down. That conclusion stemmed from the fact his appearance took a bit more of a peaceful turn; his hair lost its luster, and his body seemed to cool off. Another tell-tale sign would have been the aspect change in his rough features; his once burning glare and trembling body began to relax — or at the very least ease off.
In fact, he went as far as to give her things — acknowledge the fact that what had been done was a necessity.
“It’s good you understand where I’m coming from; the last thing we need is another hero showing up at the last minute to save someone on their last legs. Not to mention you shouldn’t put that kind of stress on your back — it’s not as if this was a prestigious kill. You may have had a history with that hybrid, but let’s be honest, I’m sure if you wanted you could find more worthy prey to take pride in.” Her words came as both a mixture of praise and sincerity; while she had to diffuse the situation there was plenty of truth to what was said. “It isn’t as though I did this to piss you off; his death came at the cost he had to be silenced — permanently. I have a reputation to uphold; I couldn’t have let that girl live for personal reasons, but I also couldn’t let the word of what I had done getting out.”
Her muscles, still swollen with imbued ki, began to flatter, in turn returning her to a more slender, more feminine figure. With her power having lost a hefty chunk the woman’s arms came to cross under her chest; she wasn’t going to hide from his scan. As far as she was aware he was going to come up with nothing — in Noxa’s mind this guy was, while not an Earthly, still Earthbound. In other words, whatever database he would be accessing would be from Earth; a place she had gone through great lengths to stay off of the grid from. At least in terms of law enforcement.
Still, she couldn’t help but feel he had found something; his smirk couldn’t have simply been born out of remembering their fun night at a bar. The amazon had to follow him, at least to find out what kind of information he had gathered on her.
“If you think a woman looks her best while covered in the blood of two eviscerated corpses, in the middle of a tempest born from supernatural power in a desert…” A toothy grin spread across her face, “Then I’m afraid you’re more of a warrior than anything else.” A hearty laugh escaped her throat, “Which is good — we might get along well after all. It’s good to see I don’t have to worry about you breathing any of this to anyone else.”
At the man’s request to take this somewhere the woman could only find herself nodding in agreement. He was absolutely correct: they had plenty to discuss.
“I can’t say I disagree; please, lead the way.”
