Namorel Powerlevel: 6,766 [-75% heavy Weight Reduction]
"So, this is Yunzabit Heights... Honestly it is nowhere as cold as I anticipated it to be."Namorel said to himself as he looked down on the barren wasteland below him. The high winds were picking up around him, lifting his cape into an almost horizontal path perpendicular to his body. He had heard this location was perfect for those that wanted to train in the harshest conditions, perhaps it was; yet Namorel was unimpressed by the lack luster temperatures of the wasteland itself, but he had to agree that the vastness of the location was worth the visit as well as the layout of the landscape offering for the perfect terrain for a real fight if one were to break out here. IT was a good place to train someone who was new to flying as well... perhaps this was the place... Ayumu had told him if he wanted to fight for his ideals working with others would benefit him; yet he knew a location.. a headquarters of sorts would be in his interest and this location was perfectly secluded from the world to offer a safe place for him to put it.

At the top of one of many plateaus of Yunzabit Heights, Aido floated in the air with his legs crossed, eyes shut as he braced himself against the bitter cold of the wasteland. He'd sought out a place like this to further his progress in his trainig, believing that conditioning himself to deal with harsh weather conditions would be a great way to test one's endurance. As he meditated, he recalled past battles in his mind, most notably his battle with the Rogue SSE soldier, Okra. He'd narrowly grasped victory thanks to Suna's intervention, but if the Earthling hadn't been there, he would have certainly been killed. The Namekian wanted to make sure that would never happen again. It reminded him all too much of his battle with his elder brother, Harpe. If he ever wanted to liberate his village back home on Namek, he had a long journey ahead of him. Minutes morphed into hours as he remained still in the air, despite the powerful winds that blew in all directions. It wasn't until he detected something most peculiar, that the Namkian opened his eyes. Someone was near. Someone powerful. "Hmm... interesting." He mused tohimself, slowly floating down to his feet. For some odd reason, this power, while foreign, felt somehow familiar. Giving into his curiosity, he flew off in the direction of where he felt this powerful ki signature.
It didn't take long for him to find the visitor, as they weren't making much of an effort to hide their power. When he got in close enough to make out the stranger's features, his eyes widened in surprise. "A Namekian...?" He said under his breath. The Elders of Namek had told him that his kind roamed the Earth, but he hadn't seen any until now. Perhaps there was an opportunity here.
TOC.
Aido's boots touched the barren, cold dirt as he landed several feet behind the other Namekian, folding his arms as his lips curled into the slightest of smirks. "Well now, it's not often that I see another Namekian on this planet," he said in a calm tone. "What brings you to this barren wasteland?"

Namorel Powerlevel: 6,766 [-75% Heavy Weight Reduction]
Namorel closed his eyes as he stood on one of the many plateaus that made up the mass of Yunzabit Heights. The wind was still blowing, harder than any other location Namorel had dealt with, yet he found it refreshing at the same time, perhaps it was the balance of temperatures against his rugged, green skin. He didn't know, and yet he did't bother to question it either. It was easier to accept that which was rather than throw a rock at the wall and expect them to become one, it was a foolish endeavor. Recently he had managed to learn a technique typically taught to the younger namekians, one he had missed out on in his youth on Namek. He trained his mind to search for ki signatures around him without the use of the scouter that he had left at home. He felt it, the power wasn't huge, but it was with in proximity of what his weights placed him at now, and another thing caught his attention as the power drew closer, it was a namekian! It had been so long since he had met a full fledged member of his own race. "Greetings brother, I was examining the wasteland for training potential. May I ask you the same question back... or rather what brought you to Earth?"Namorel replied to his namekian brother, he wouldn't immediately turn to face the namekian, but when he did he saw the green skin and pink/red muscle pads that were common amongst their race, although Namorel himself varied from that some with the color of his muscle pads being a sort of yellow color. Standing at seven feet and a few inches Namorel looked over the namekian, who stood at a similar height, from what Namorel could tell this namekian seemed rather young, much younger than Namorel himself, perhaps he would ask him later, but for now the focus was on the question Namorel had asked him moments ago.

"Hmph, I came here do do the same," Aido responded with a light chuckle. He folded his arms, eyeing Namorel curiously. He could tell the Namekian was powerful. While he felt that they were nearly even in terms of raw energy, he could tell that this Namekian's power was being suppressed. On top of that, he seemed to be much older than Aido. Perhaps this was an opportunity to better himself as a warrior. "As for what brings me to this planet," he added, folding his arms and looking at the ground. "I came here after seeking guidance from the Wise Elders of Namek. I was told this planet held many powerful warriors, providing a great opportunity to hone my skills and grow in power. One day, I intend to return to Namek, and liberate my village from the tyrannical rule of my brothers."
He didn't often share this with many people. It took ages of Suna's prying before he finally told him about his brothers, but with this Namekian, he felt an overwhelming sense of trust. Perhaps it was just their kinship, or perhaps he was simply that trustworthy. "I'm Aido," he added, "From a small, rural village in Namek, Kuji. Who might you be?"

Namorel Powerlevel: 6,766 [-75% Heavy Weight Reduction]
"Your elders seem a lot like the ones from my own village."Namorel spoke with a chuckle, the thought took him back to days on Namek when he would train with his father and the elders alike. It was a fond memory, but one he preferred to suppress because it reminded him of why he had left Namek in the first place, he remembered why he was running, but... was it justified? That was the question he continued to ask himself more often than he wanted to, yet no matter how much he ignored it; it came back just as much to haunt him, he was glad he didn't have to sleep, for the dreams would drive him crazy if he did. Aido was his name, it was an interesting name for a namekian, Namorel wondered if it was a clan name or one of hereditary descent, he even gave the village he hailed from Kuji, one of the rural villages. Namorel was unsure if he had visited the village on routine with his father, but the name seemed familiar. "As for my name, I am Namorel. As for my village, I prefer to forget the name... for personal reasons.""As for guidance, perhaps I can contribute to that, it may benefit you to gain greater depth into our traditional style."Namorel spoke to reply to Aido's question, the younger namekian intrigued him as he spoke of tyrannical brothers. So perhaps Aido had a drive similar to Namorel's own, guiding him to do whatever it took to achieve his goal without hurting any innocents along the way, prompting him to offer his training to the young namekian, and maybe he could learn something he missed while he himself was training with the elders. HE would wait for the namekian's response before taking stance or any other indication or combat preparation.

"Is that so?" Aido asked, as the Namekian named Namorel suggested contributing to his guidance. It was clear he was suggesting training with him, something he wasn't entirely opposed to. He couldn't quite explain why, but he felt like he could trust Namorel. There was something about him that made him feel more relatable than most others he'd met on this planet, something beyond sharing the same heritage. His unwillingness to speak about his village made him think he understood what it was like to to have a troubled home you wish to return to and save.
"They say the best way for warriors to know one another is on the battlefield," Aido said, slowly shifting into his fighting stance. "I can sense that you're a powerful warrior, perhaps there are a few things you can teach me."

Namorel Powerlevel: 6,766 [-75% Heavy Weights]
Aido spoke once more, it seemed he was just taking in the information, more so than anything else after Namorel spoke. He hoped the younger namekian would accept his offer so that Namorel could see how strong Aido really was, that and it had been so long since he had last sparred with another namekian warrior and this would be a wonderful opportunity. However he had hoped the younger generations hadn't been taught a new style of fighting Namorel had yet to see, knowing the older ways and a few of the newer styles that rose up from it, he had always preferred the traditional style over any of the others as it was both traditional and it was very versitile in combat. Aido then replied, accepting the offer and taking a battle stance Namorel hadn't seen, it contained familiar elements, but varried form any of the styles he had seen before. "I couldn't agree more."Namorel said as his feet were spread three feet apart and one was turned slightly to the left, towards the center of his stance. Meanwhile he waits was positioned perfectly in the center of his position and rose into a slightly bent torso, his left arm arching over his head, extended slightly and with the hand hanging open above his head, while the right arm remained coiled at his side. His arms were much like a snake, the rattle at his side and the snake itself arching over his head. His stance gave a sort of apparent opening, but would Aido take the bait or know better and be tactical?

The cold, bitter winds of Yunzabit Heights howled across the barren landscape as Aido eyed Namorel's form curiously. It looked like the warrior fought in a more traditional fashion. It eerily reminded him of his father, bringing back a string of memories he'd thought had been long buried. Memories of training with his father and brothers, before the war, before the corruption. It was a much simpler time, a time he longed for, but deep down inside knew that it could never be. There was no sense in dwelling on the past. All that mattered now was attaining the strength necessary to bring about a better future, both for himself, and for his people. He stood poised, ready to attack, trying to figure out the best way to initiate the battle.
"HYAAAAAAH!" He bellowed, wasting no time and pushing off the ground, cracking the stone floor beneath his feet as he rocketed forward, gliding at Namorel at a blinding speed as he cocked his right fist back, intent on landing a strike on the Namekian's sternum. Just before attacking, however, he pulled his fist back in a feint as he closed the gap between himself and Namorel, instead leaping into the air, over his opponent, before twisting around, aiming a hard spinning kick at Namorel's exposed back.

Namorel Powerlevel: 6,766 [-75% heavy Weight Reduction]
Namorel watched carefully, he knew that this namekian was still young, but was sure there was something up his sleeve, perhaps he would take advantage of the environment or his own body, Namorel did not know, but he anticipated anything from his namekian brother. Namorel's ears would perk back while he narrowed his eyes as he watched Aido, the younger namekian's stance was that of a newer style he had seen being taught to the younger warriors a few years before leaving the planet himself. Namorel's attention was quickly drawn though when Aido began to yell as he flew towards Namorel. He seemed to be preparing an attack, but Namorel noticed the feign moments into the action and watched as the young namekian leaped in for an overhead flank on Namorel's stance. "Remember, we may be able to hear better, but that doesn't mean we aren't the only ones that can hear, And don't forget, we do have a biological advantage for melee combat over other races."Namorel said as he twisted his super flexible body in an almost impossible contortion, kicking off his right leg to flip himself around, extending his left leg as he allowed it to come crashing around him to meet Aido's in mid air, with intention to falter both of them back into their respective stances, or into whatever flow Aido would think of next. Namorel's goal of this spar was to see what they hadn't taught Aido, instead of prove himself the better warrion, he wanted to see if this namekian would fit the bill on what Namorel had planned, he already had the backing of Asper... all he needed was his namekian brother to join him; but for now they were locked in combat.

Aido's brow furrowed as Namorel countered his attack, leaping back and taking up his fighting stance once more as he slowly paced in a circle, eyeing Namorel down as he contemplated a different method of attack, nodding as the older Namekian spoke. He was fast, and powerful. Even from that small exchange, Aido could tell that Namorel was holding a lot back. It would appear that his assumption was correct. There was definitely much this Namekian could teach him, both about the art of battle, and about himself. This was an opportunity, and one that he wanted to be careful not to squander.
"Very well, in that case, I'll skip the warmup and cut to the fun part," Aido said with a slight smirk as he bent his elbows, keeping his arms locked closely at his sides. Letting out a deep, mighty shout that steadily grew in volume, a bright white aura began to surround the warrior. The already violent winds of Yunzabit heights grew in their intensity as the rocks at Aido's feet slowly began to levitate. When he finished, the stones fell harmlessly to the ground, only to get blown away once more as Aido charged once again at Namorel, firing a flurry of ki blasts at his opponent until finally closing the gap, and letting loose a furious barrage of punches, focusing more on speed than strength in an effort to keep Namorel preoccupied with defending his onslaught.
Finally, Aido delivered one final, powerful knee aimed for Namorel's chin, before quickly leaping backwards, floating high into the air until he was at an adequate distance. Aido then extended both of his arms to absurd lengths, lashing at Namorel violently, his arms moving and whipping about like blood thirsty serpents before firing a powerful ki blast from his mouth, hopefully catching the older Namekian off guard.

Namorel Powerlevel: 6,766 [-75% Heavy Weight Reduction]
Namorel carefully watched Aido, the young namekian showed expertise in the combat style already. As they were tossed back into their positions Aido took back to his style innately form Namorel's observations, but Namorel himself took a less formal stance as he recovered, lowering his stance and leaning back some while his hands retained the same relative position as before. Namorel took to note the glaring opening of his back; yet perhaps this was a good thing as he could use it to draw in attackers into a trap and do as he did similar to Aido moments ago. He noticed the younger namekian was watching him, perhaps seeking other openings int he older namekian's impromptu stance. "Yes, let's."Namorel responded, Aido has already tucked his arms to his sides, flaring up his ki as the wind around him intensified and pulled the smaller stones around him into a sort of levitation briefly before he launched himself at Namorel, firing a flurry of ki blasts at the older namekian as he did so. Namorel would retaliate this with a fifteen foot long whip made of pure ki energy he materialized in his right hand, whipping it up in a diagonal manner in order to hit the vast majority of the ki blasts as they flew towards him, but then in that swift motion he reeled the whip into a sort of spiral, pulling it into his and and wrapping it around it all at the same time, changing it from a range to a melee weapon in an instant, ready to counter the younger namekian, were he to come into the melee range. In the matter of moments that was the onslaught of Aido's punches Namorel was able to get some strikes in on the younger namekian. However his intensity on focusing on the punching made his miss Aido's knee as it came up, launching Namorel into the air. Using the hang time to over look the battle field he loosened the whip from his hand and pooling a small amount of ki into his left hand. When Aido's arms came up Namorel fought them back, or at least attempted to with his whip for a moment before releasing what appeared as small green bees from his left hand, they phased around as they were made of ki, when Aido's mouth blast hit one of them it exploded, leading up to a chain reaction of all the bees eventually exploding around it. Namorel would try to use this as a distraction to get some distance from the younger namekian. "That's more like it."

Aido winced as Namorel's strikes weaved through his defenses as they exchanged blows at rapid speeds, his eyes widening in surprise as the Namekian fabricated a whip made of pure ki, lashing through his flurry of ki blasts and clashing against his extended arms. The exchange was brutal, with neither party gaining much of an advantage, ending in a stalemate when Aido's mouth cannon clashed with the swarm of bees Namorel created. Landing on his feet, Aido panted, winded, but satisfied. Namore's strikes were painful, especially with that whip coiled around his arm. He was also faster than he'd anticipated. He winced again, trying to ignore the searing pain on his scorched arms where Namore's whip clashed with his forearms. "Well... at least now I know you're not all talk," He chided, his palms glowing with crimson energy as he powered up for another attack.
"Now, let's see how you handle this! Raaah!"
He sent another flurry of ki blasts at Namorel, homing in on his location and shooting through the air at blinding speeds. They weren't the brunt of his attack, however. Only a means of keeping Namorel distracted and in one place as he charged his true attack, a large sphere of blood red ki forming in his right hand as he aimed at Namorel. Digging deep within himself, Aido felt a surge of ki travel throughout his body, down his extended arm, increasing the size of the sphere until he was ready to unleash his attack.
"SHELL CANNON!"
A thick, red beam of ki shot out from the palm of Aido's hand, barreling toward Namorel like a freight train, digging up a deep trench in the ground as it rocketed through the barren landscape, threatening to engulf the Namekian warrior.

Namorel Powerlevel: 6,766 [-75% Heavy Weight Reduction]
Namorel's feet hit the ground with a skid, distance once more between him and Aido. The younger namekian proved to be quite the force to be reckoned with, with each new clash Namorel saw a little bit of his own self in the namekian warrior, much like the gusto he had before the incident; perhaps it was simply innately born into namekians, but Aido played off of it so well that it would be terrifying if Namorel were still on the same level as the namekian, but the gap in their true power made it more of a spectacle rather than any threat beyond what the weights placed Namorel at right now and even then there was the difference in wisdom and practice in their age gap, but Namorel knew these assets could be bypassed with raw power if one so insisted them to. When Aido fired the beam Namorel thought for a moment on what he could do to retaliate this maneuver. Perhaps he could try something less direct and more evasive this time. Flying towards the beam with intent to evade, he would blink out of view for an instant with an Afterimage technique to avoid the blast and appear behind the younger namekian, taping him on the shoulder before once more taking a battle ready stance to combat the young warrior, while generating another whip in his free hands, coiling it just like the other that accompanied it.

Aido kept his arm extended as the blast rocketed forward, completely decimating the top of a far off mountain in a grand display of light and debris. He wondered if his technique did any severe damage, but his train of thought was cut off by a tap on his shoulder. Namorel had evaded the attack completely. He'd vanished behind an afterimage. It mimicked a maneuver that Aido's elder brother Harpe used, many years ago back on Namek. In that instant of a second, Aido was brought back ten years into the past, his brother mockingly tapping his shoulder as he evaded his Shell Cannon.
__
"You're too slow, little brother." Harpe taunted, flashing his typical mocking, fanged grin. Aido quickly spun around, trying to act fast and catch Harpe off guard with a hard right cook, but the elder brother saw it coming, catching his fist with ease and countering with a hard knee to the stomach. Aido coughed up a mouth full of violet blood, falling to his knees and clutching his stomach. Harpe let out a deep, condescending laugh as his younger brother knelt at his feet, writing in pain. "Utterly pathetic," He said, his tone cold and bitter as he looked down at Aido in disgust. "Is this truly the best you have to offer?" He continued, delivering a swift kick to Aido's chin, knocking him flat on his back. "Didn't you want to save your village?"
Aido struggled to get to his feet, but was halted as Harpe lifted his foot, and brought it down hard on his chest, forcing him back down. "You should have known your place, little brother. Your hatred isn't strong enough... you're not strong enough." He reached down, grabbing Aido by the throat, squeezing tightly and lifting him up, his feet dangling several inches off the ground. "Look at you, Aido. The proud son of the legendary Escar.... you're an embarrassment to his name." At that moment, Aido mustered up the last of his strength, quickly forming a crimson ball of ki in his right arm and hurling it at his brother's face at point blank range. He quickly released Aido, clutching his face in pain and quickly retaliating with a powerful kiai at Aido, bowling him over end over end until he crashed into a large outcropping. "Miserable wretch..." Harpe murmured, lifting his finger and firing a thin white beam, penetrating straight through Aido's sternum. The pain was so immense. He could only remember the pain, and suddenly, darkness... ____
Aido was quickly brought back to earth, but the emotions brought up from that fateful day had been brought up to the surface, like a once dormant volcano suddenly, and violently awakening in a blazing explosion. Before he knew what he was doing, Aido quickly spun around, attempting to Strike at Namorel with a spinning back kick, following through with a consistent barrage of punches and kicks, putting all his strength into every strike, bent on keeping Namorel on the defensive, his teeth grit in anger as the face of Namorel morphed into the taunting face of Harpe, and back again, repeatedly. Images of his brothers, his father, and the troubled people of his village playing constantly in his mind like a wild storm that mimicked the ferocity of the Namekian's attacks.

Namorel Powerlevel: 6,766 [-75% Heavy Weight Reduction]
For an instant after Namorel tapped Aido on the shoulder, the younger namekian's eyes seemed to glaze over. Perhaps he triggered a flashback of sorts... Namorel didin't know, but what he did know was that in that instant he felt a sort of sorrow for the younger namekian, he didn't quite know what reason he had for this feeling, but he had the inclination that Aido was repressing something in his past, much like Namorel was. Namorel thought back on his father, what would he do in a situation like this... it Namorel a moment of thought before it all seeped in and he realized he had to help Aido if he could, help him through these tough times as one of his namekian brothers and as his elder. If there was any virtue he could desperately hold unto from his people and their culture while he remained on Earth, it was his brotherhood to his fellow namekian, he would raise his hand to touch the younger namekian's shoulder to speak to him. "If you need any help I am here to assist you..."Before he could get his hand tp the shoulder of the younger namekian, or even finish his sentence for that matter; The young namekian turned back to get a solid kick in on Namorel. The older namekian considered blocking the kick, but a though came to mind... he let Aido have the kick, the barrage following would be met by Namorel on an equal point, but the older namekian let Aido gain his ground. Namorel was intent on giving the younger namekian the opportunity to vent any steam and anger he may have had before kicking back into gear to keep the flow going on a fair field. If he could do anything now, Namorel could try and live up to the legacy of his father and be the better namekian he had been taught to be.
