He'd spent those nights by her side, the protective side of the large warrior watching over her. He meant what he said...he actually did love her. But at the moment, he noticed a cold sweat, her bangs matted to her forehead...he reached out with a small piece of cloth, answering her as he wiped his woman's forehead. "No, my love. I've heard nothing. Everything seems to be quiet up here, like Noone comes here. But indulge me, dearest...were you possibly dreaming?"He tilted his head quizzically, his eyes focused on hers as he awaited her answer. He took up a mug with steaming liquid, sipping from it. A black, steaming liquid. If she looked at his eyes, she'd see that they had bags under them. He hadn't slept since she went unconscious.

A little bit nervous still, she shuddered slightly as she looked at Carva. Watching him dab away the cold sweat, she noticed his exhaustion. Immediately, she spoke. "Carva please, go to bed. I'll tell you about it later but you need sleep!" Her voice was laden with concern, eyes soft as she looked directly at him. "Please.." She whispers.

He stretched out...a biiiiig stretch, and a yawn. He really hasn't slept in so long, and honestly, it'd taken it's toll on him. He'd been worried about Arias who'd been passing out during their training. He looked at her and slid into bed with the Saiyaness, sliding his arms around her. "I've just been worried about you is all. You've been passing out every time we spar, and that doesn't seem normal. I know it's not natural for my kind to show this much concern..but.." he frowned. "...I can't help it."

Arias rested her head on his chest, sighing quietly. "Most people think I'm purebred.. I'm not. I am 1/4 human and 3/4 Saiyan.. I guess the human part of me enables me to feel the emotions I feel.. love, happiness. Good emotions that most Saiyans don't have.."
She sat with her head against his torso, thinking to herself. "Carva, are you a hybrid?" She asked, her tail slowly intertwining with his. "Don't worry.. I won't judge. My mother was half human and half Saiyan, my father was purebred.." She cuddled a bit closer, feeling strangely calm and safe.
The small, weak shimmer of ki had gotten faintly stronger, resting within the body of his unknowing mate. A soft purr would rumble from her throat, calm and feeling protected, strangely enough. He was 4x weaker than her, yet.. she loved him.

Carva gently stroked her silky hair, kissing his girl's forehead. "Noone ever said that a Saiyan has to be heartless and cruel, Arias. We are just a proud people, but sometimes you meet someone who brings out the heart. I will admit, my temper isn't exactly that of what Earthlings call a kitten, but I can love and I love you. You calm an otherwise stormy soul."
Upon hearing her question, he was brought back to his lineage. He frowned slightly. "My dad was Kabochan...he was a pirate who...took advantage of my mom during her leave after a great battle. He disappeared. Nine months later, I was born...breach birth. Mother went Super Saiyan as she gave birth to me. So I am three quarters Saiyan, one quarter Kabochan." He looked at her proudly. "A born warrior!"
Her mate was boisterous and strong, and she'd be the only one who saw his kind hearted side. He did hold her protectively, and he could feel that ki shimmering once more...he tilted his head in confusion. "Do you feel that?"

Arias had her eyes closed, resting her head against his torso. She simply listened as Carva spoke, twitching her tail from time to time. "I can sense it in your tone, you don't like your father, do you?"
She would continue on, tone laced with some sorrow and grief. "I lost my parents when I was six. Born into the lowest ranks of Saiyans, my parents hid me to avoid my very possible death. They raised me at home, until.." Her voice choked, tears beginning to slip down her cheeks. "One morning, I lost my twin sibling to a Vegetan wild creature, and later that day I was forced to watch from a hiding place as my parents were choked to death by Arcosians, their necks snapped.. I... I..."
The Saiyaness started to cry. Tears slipping like rainwater down her cheeks steadily, burying her face in his torso and sobbing, body racked with the force of her sobs.
The faint ki energy would bear some similarity to his own ki, steady and definitely not part of Arias..

His father? The look on his face would tell his lady that he didn't care much for him. He sighed, shaking his head. "Of course not. He basically had his way with my mother..." he growled the words dripping with ferocious venom. "...had that not happened, I wouldn't be here...but I despise that low down dirty bastard. How he overpowered an elite is beyond me!"As she shed those tears, he'd nuzzle his lips on her cheeks. He hated to see her in this light...hated to see her crying. He'd comfort her, running his fingers through her hair. "I am so sorry to hear that, Arias. I know it's of no consolation, but I will always be here for you...to protect you...and...." he smiled, his eyes sparkling as he placed a hand on her stomach. "...our child..."His ki sense was pretty strong...

Arias cried, holding him tightly as tears ran down her cheeks. The torrent of tears soaked her pajamas, her sniffling evident whenever she took a small breath. The consolation Carva gave her calmed the upset female down, her ki having twitched like nuts, sparking within her. It was clear emotions ruled the Saiyaness..
Her ki smoothing itself once more, she felt him place a hand on her stomach.. and speak two words which rang in her head. "Our... child?" She replied in a dazed manner.

He nodded with a proud smile, his hand still on her flat stomach. The pride in his eyes? It was increased tenfold. "Yes...I hope that doesn't bother you. I can feel it's ki forming already...and it feels like my ki. A daddy's boy...or girl." He chuckled, rubbing her stomach.

Still somewhat dazed, her sleepiness not helping, she looked up at Carva with her midnight-blue eyes. Remembering the other kids she had and lost, her ears flattened against her head for a moment. She'd been so foolish.. taken their lives for granted and the ex-mother's heart had been broken more than once.
"If this is true.. please, tell me this.. Don't leave me.. don't do anything to get yourself killed..." She whispered softly, a few black strands of hair from her on his torso. She felt him continue to rub her washboard-flat stomach, and chose to merely relax in his embrace.

Those eyes... Those beautiful eyes. They remind me of the oceans on planet Shikk. So clear and blue. I could learn to get lost in them, and sadly...I wouldn't care if anyone found me. Those eyes were like flames to a moth for Carva. He'd not been able to advert his own gaze from hers as their eyes had locked. Is this what it feels like to feel something other than rage? Is this what being in love feels like? It's true, I love kicking ass. But this is downright heavenly.Through it all, the Saiyan warrior, so full of pride and fighting spirit had found the one person who could make all that rage go away. Through it all, he'd found a woman who was a diversion from his bloody business ventures. He looked at her, and gave her the proudest smile, a smile that any woman with Saiyan blood would just melt to. "Me? Leave you and our child? Woman, I may be bull headed, but I am not a complete dumbass." He chuckled. This would undoubtedly let his mate know that he wouldn't lose his edge because of her...if anything...she made him stronger. "As for dying, the only ones dying will be the fools who fuck with you and our family."You could almost picture his son or daughter in her womb, poking it's little chest out and laughing like daddy with the grin, so full of pride.

Before she'd met Carva, she'd been secretly bent on getting revenge for her death. Even thinking about it would make her blood BOIL with overwhelming fury. Yet, she couldn't bring it to mind in Carva's presence.. he was a tranquilizer to the insane Saiyaness.
A small yawn escaped her lips, shifting gently in Carva's embrace to get comfortable. Her head still leaned against his torso, eyes slowly closing and her body relaxing.
(OOC Note: The kid has only recently been conceived and wouldn't be able to hear you until 4 months in @ least)

He ended the night by kissing his mate on the forehead, never leaving her side. He was happy that he'd put her mind at ease, but still wondered exactly what those voices she spoke of were. He closed those deep green eyes of his, nuzzling her soft hair, smelling her conditioner. Closing his eyes, he drifted off to sleep, finally resting.

Arias slept, curled close to Carva and making no move to leave his side. As the dawn rose, sun peeking over the horizon while the sky greeted the sun with beautiful colors, Arias continued so slumber. With it being so cold, there was no hazy inhibitor of heat to block the clear, crisp sky.
A soft purr was audibly rumbling in her small throat that morning, the sleepy Saiyaness still very fast asleep. Perhaps a heavy sleeper, the sun shone through the window and did not disturb the female.

A he was drifting off to sleep, Carva thought about the legend told to him by his mother. She'd said the she'd gone "super saiyan" in the middle of giving birth to him, but the more he thought about it...that couldn't be right. Thinking back further, he thought deeply about how his mother's eyes would light up with such delight everytime her young son's power would grow. It was then that he realized something...he nudged Arias. "Arias...I think my mom lied to me..." he said, quietly, and with a sadness in his voice.
