Core was enjoying every bit of Phae’s cuddles, he would smiling widely as he was held close to his new motherly figure and she was taking care softly of him, there was nothing that he would want less than being separated from her right now, but Celmaru splat them apart as he would look rather concerned about something on Core, which Core had no idea of. Even after that though, they would still hold themselves pretty close, Core still has his tail around Phae, which was making sure he wouldn’t lose her should… uh… the wind blow her away? He really didn’t have a reason for it but to keep contact with her, which, at this point, was reassuring him not to have her go away from him, which he was somehow afraid of. Turned out that Celmaru was worrying about Core’s oxygen, though he didn’t knew that Arcosian didn’t need that to live, giving them the capacity to ‘breath’ in space and live there no matter how harsh the conditions are, which Core was aware of and was something he liked to play with when he really had nothing else to do.
‘’ Well, it did start out without your consent… so… I guess there is one exception to the rule… but… That’s too complicated for me and I can’t doubt that there is a strong bond between you two, and the love that is radiating from both of you is so strong that even an alien, which had nothing to do with both of you, from a species that is known for its violence and genocide, was welcomed and loved by you both in an instant without questioning further…. That’s… something I love a lot about… both of you.’’ He would simply whisper as he looked down shyly, it was about time he would say something gentle to them, they were treating with so much love, he needed to give them some back, should it even be a little bit, so he wasn’t completely just leeching good feelings from them, which Core didn’t wanted to do, it was a relationship of family, not parasite after all.
When things started to warm up between the two lovers, Core would look at them and smiles gently, he was wondering if he should leave and leave both of them alone to have some times together, after all, from what Core’s caught about love, it was a special relationship, special enough that Core should leave them alone, they seemed like they could have some. ‘’ Phae, Celmaru, would you two love to… have some time together? Maybe discuss my adoption and everything… I mean, it must be something major and probably require the adults’ part of the deal to talk it up? And I mean, I’ll see you two really soon after, maybe tomorrow, to get my refill of mother love~’’ He would say, holding Phae a bit tighter as he released his tail. ‘’ And you know, making it official and everything after you talked about it!’’ He would say with a wide smile on his face, still going back to holding and curling near Phae like a baby.
