Thread Power Level: 162,539 -Permanent Trans: x11 Qlipoth: 1,787,929 Ki Setting: 1,700,000 Reikiko Above the Bamboo forest, a floating island slowly sailed past, the clouds around it disturbed by an invisible wall of energy. It was permeable, but that field held the place aloft, allowing it to float about on it's own. Within this flying structure was the partial home of Walker, the moving tree who nearly a year ago had been thrust, quite abruptly, into the sheer lunacy that was Earth in this day and age. Since then, he had come quite a long way, and the time he spent on the Lookout had yielded plenty of results in regards to increasing his inherent skill in magic. At the moment, however, he was merely pacing about a courtyard, allowing his Ki to flow forth at near full capacity. It was like a beacon, but trying to keep it sealed to a unremarkable level constantly was painful, and besides, it could be handy. If some hostile force targeted him, he would be able to contact all the other Z-Fighters and defenders of Earth in but a moment, whereas others might not have been able to do so. If he had been on the ancient Lookout, that would also have been true, but since Bing's departure, the required work had dropped quite a bit. Not many people were visiting, everyone occupied with their own projects, and so Walker had found his own as well. Running his hand along the smooth column of stone, he tapped it for a moment before moving on. The courtyard sat nearly at the top of the plateau-like rock and associated structures, open to the elements. He had been tempted to add a chair, but it looked too much like a throne, so he left it out. As such, he was left pacing, musing about recent events in Vegeta's Orbit, and the future of this world. That, and drinking a literal gallon of tea. A 3 meter tree's teacup is a large thing.

It was not often one saw a giant floating island hovering above the Bamboo Forest, or well any place for that matter. As far as people knew the only time such technology was used was back when Avalon had been constructed, a sorrowful memory of a joyous past that had disappeared after the crimes her sister had committed. It was the truth, Reikiko often thought back about the days she spend upon the soil of the floating island, innocent memories of a more naive and childish Reikiko. It was a time when dark thoughts haunted her no more, when thoughts about war and the consequences of one's actions had not been on her mind. Nevertheless, to allow herself to remain chained by the memories of her past was a thing Reikiko desired no longer, so she idly discarded the thoughts and turned her focus back toward reality. She had been nestled on one of the larger branches upon a tree nearby the cottage she and Hikari shared. Like expected her caretaker had been busy preparing a snack, judging from the scent likely something that included some delicious apples. However, the sudden darkening of the sky had rather easily drawn away her attention, in the end it was rather difficult to remain ignorant of the giant construction that obstructed her view of the sky.
"This scent..."
The bio-android closed her eyes, seemingly enhancing her senses as she could feel the distant presence. While most people would have sensed a person's energy, for Reikiko it was a slightly different scenario. It was as if the very energy of the individual upon the floating island had gained a scent, one that drifted away from his body, and led an invisible trajectory toward the bio-android who finally opened her eyes.
"Curious... Hey Hikari! We got company~"
Her voice reached the hybrid rather easily, who came outside the cottage, her usual suit accompanied by an apron, and judging from the basket she was holding she had finished her preparations nicely on time.
"What's the matter Reikiko? You mentioned someone--- Wait what is that thing in the sky?"
The bio-android grinned sheepishly as she unfurled her tail from around the tree branch, hopping off the branch while allowing her wings to spread, the soft buzz and the vibrations in the air hinting that she had started to descend toward the surface. Hikari clearly had been bewildered by the sight, and at the same time also slightly mesmerized. It reminded her of the distant past, and yet at the same time there was a presence upon the island that felt somewhat familiar to her. It was like a presence she had known, and yet it was somewhat different from how she remembered it, both in 'feeling' and density.
"Dunno, but I'm curious about who has the guts to disrupt my stargazing activity."
Hikari couldn't help but chuckle at that comment, jokingly remarking on Reikiko's words with a bemused grin.
"There aren't any stars to be seen in the afternoon."
Of course the bio-android had expected to receive some form of commentary, for she mused happily.
"Then it's sky-gazing. Anyway, let's go and check it out!"
There was little Hikari could do to stop Reikiko, especially when she saw that innocent smile that accompanied the grasping of her hand, and obviously the basket of apple slices and soon the hybrid found herself tugged along into the air, seemingly pursuing the floating island above them. Who did it belong to? Reikiko had already a certain assumption behind who had been the one to claim ownership over the island, but she was still curious what that person was doing here, instead of the usual place one would find him at. Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that Scargot had been missing again for a while already? Perhaps she had even developed his habit of disappearing without a trace, just to reappear when people least expected it.
It took only a few minutes of flying as a casual pace before the two of them reached the courtyard the presence had been located at, and while Hikari was momentarily distracted by the rather mysterious, almost even mystical design of the architecture of the place, Reikiko had decided for a frontal head-on confrontation, descending till she was hovering a modest distance above the giant humanoid tree.
"You grown quite cocky to obstruct the pleasant view of my nap spot with a giant floating rock. Almost made me think we were having a solar eclipse. Then again, I guess it does bring back some nostalgic memories, so you're forgiven Chibi Treebeard."
The bio-android smirked at the nickname she had given Walker, finally reaching the surface while looking at Hikari with an amused grin on her lips.
"Ooy Hikari, why are you more interested in the floating rock rather than the giant tree boy with us? I think someone poured too much water on his roots lately."
Hikari, who had clearly been too distracted by the architecture of the island, to the point she had been exterminating one of the stone columns in great detail, turned to her companion and Walker with a bashful expression.
"It's not like I was fascinated by the resemblance of this island's style toward some civilizations I read about in books! Besides, with all due respect, when one hangs around you so often you tend to get surprised by only the most outlandish of events. Albeit, it's still a pleasure to see you well and healthy Walker. I was rather concerned about your condition after Kami--- I mean Scargot disappeared from the timeless lookout."
The bio-android's gaze focused onto Walker, tilting her head to the side in a look of curiosity.
"I don't believe it's only your height that changed. The density of your scent---ahem Ki seems to suggest you accomplished something that until now was merely a theoretical idea I entertained my thoughts with. Evolution, but you're lacking the same predator-like instinct someone who absorbed a individual would have. Still, I'm delighted to see you growing up. I guess my father would have described it as 'watching a seedling slowly nurtured into a majestic oak'."
She hummed playfully while looking at the large teacup he had with him, and for a moment she was unable to contain her inner-monologue from escaping.
"Such a giant cup... makes me wonder how many seconds it would take for me to drain it if I filled it with apple juice... Maybe it would reach almost a minute..."

Taking an ill-timed sip, Walker would have choked if he digested things normally when a familiar voice came from behind him. He had been so lost in thought, he hadn't even sensed her energy approaching. Then again, it was entirely possible that this was because it was significantly lower than he remembered it. Turning about, cup in one hand, he stared for a second. "...Rei? You're Ok?" Blinking for a second, he chuckled. "Well then, I'm sorry for disturbing your nap. I wasn't aware there was anyone down below."
Moving over to a patch of grass, he stomped once, and a series of roots coiled upwards from the ground, twisting and curving around each other until they formed three chair and a table. The table was proportioned for the other's heights, which made Walker look a bit odd when he stood next to them. "Come, sit! This is wonderful. As for the architecture, Ms. Hikari, I believe someone else may be better versed in the specifics." From the air, a strange green mist seemed to swirl out of nothing, coalescing into an indistinct shape, much like a large, glowing minotaur. It bowed, and spoke in a rumbling tone. "Greetings, Ma'am. I am Loccus, the Genius Locci of this place. It's all that remains of the people that first awakened me." Crossing his arms, the spirit leaned against the air, watching the group with interest.
While this occurred, Walker had his hand upon the table, concentrating on something. His efforts were revealed a moment later as a large, snake-like plant slithered out of a nearby stairway, a basket in it's mouth. Depositing it on the table, it curled around Walker's chair, head bobbing as it peered at the two new arrivals, one of the tree's fingers scratching its chin. "I appreciate your concern, Ms. Hikari. However, I was quite safe, it turns out. I decided to attempt to meditate to calm some of the more disconnected aspects of my Psyche. I assumed Scargot would awaken me if I became too absorbed in my efforts." He shrugged. "Apparently, I am poor at judging time. The next thing I knew, I was feeling an odd surge of power within myself, apparently the effects of the Kami's Holy Water being used on the tree I appeared to be." Loccus, apparently deciding to aid in the storytelling, moved one hand.
A moment later, the scene was playing out in front of them all, the glowing green mist reproducing it in emerald. "I discovered that, in what I thought was perhaps a day since I began to connect the disparate parts of myself, months had gone by. You and Scargot had vanished, Kaula was now the master of the Crane Style, and Bing had become Kami. They had also both grown far stronger than I had." He sounded slightly disgruntled at this, but there was a resigned acceptance to his tone. After all, he HAD vanished for an extremely long time. Tilting his head, the tree's version of raising an eyebrow, he listened to Rei's musing about seedlings and acorns.
"Yes, I have indeed. I'm still not entirely sure how, but I managed to "Force" my own evolution. It's not as strong as what I've heard about your own, but it's nearly equal to a Super Saiyan, and I managed to surpass Toma, so I suppose that's something." Stepping back from the table, he floated upwards for a second. "Heh... Funny you should mention my height. When I cease suppressing it, I become significantly more... intimidating. Hence why I try and keep it contained most of the time. One moment." Reaching into the basket, he removed several items, including a large jug and a cup. Tipping the jug over, the cup was quickly filled with apple juice, and upon closer inspection, the contents of the basket would be revealed to contain several apple-based products. Walker had been hoping Rei would turn up again, and had prepared for his friend's well-known tastes. There were several apple trees on the Cathedral, among the various other plants.
Moving several dozen meters up, the tree exhaled once, and let his suppressions go, Ki surging through him. His head began to blaze, energy pouring out of cracks in his limbs as they split and warped, growing larger and thicker. His body expanded, reaching a similar size to the Oozaru the Saiyans became under the full moon. His formerly featureless face cracked, gaining a more prominent mouth and hollow eyes, and an additional pair of limbs extended from his back, the clawed hands grasping at the air. He let it sit for a moment, feeling the sense of relief at not having to keep himself constrained, and then cracked his neck.
Folding his hands behind his back, he shrunk once more, returning to his previous tall, but not gargantuan size. The cracks sealed, the flame-like energy died away, and his glow returned from the hellish red to it's usual deep purple. Sitting back down at the table, he nodded. "That is my full power at the moment. I'm continuing to train, but as of yet that's all I can manage" The tree was somewhat oblivious to the fact that this was actually quite strong. Being around Bing, Kaula, Rei and others had warped his perception of strength. Dusting off his hands, now two again, he picked up his tea cup and took a sip. "Well then, enough about me. Where have you been? Kaula didn't seem to know anything, nor did anyone else. I spoke to Vi-Poi when I went to talk with him about the BBA and it's Freelancers, but he was just as uninformed as everyone. Which is... unusual."
Slither coiled down from the chair and around his arm, the large plant-serpent peering at Rei. The tail snaked out, and grasped one of the 4 cups, pointedly avoiding the apple juice one, and placed it in front of the tea-pot. Without paying much attention, Walker deftly poured it some tea, and the snake nodded to him, before picking up the cup by the handle and bringing it to it's mouth, taking a sip of it's own. Anyone with Ki sense would be able to tell the snake had a very similar Ki signature to Walker. Apparently, the tree had been up to some things. Including the attempted explosion of an odd planet or two.
Walker turned Ki Setting Off and on again. Walker turned Giant Form on and off again Walker turned Four Witches on and off again. Slither had tea. It was delicious.

It was clear that Reikiko was amused, at least one would have assumed as much when the bio-android chuckled heartily at Walker's apologize. Now she thought about it... One could say that there were only a handful of people who know about the cottage within the Bamboo Forest, and the fact that whenever she desired solitude she would go there. Nevertheless, at Walker's questioning of her health the child-like being nodded her head while replying in an amused tone.
"Hehe~ As you can see I'm as healthy as usually."
In the meanwhile Hikari had been clearly occupied with the arrival of the mystical entity known as a Minotaur. At the same time Reikiko decided to listen a bit further to the events that had transpired during her absence. Like expected her presence and that of her father had disappeared entirely from the surface of the planet, and for a moment she couldn't help but feel a little bit proud at her ability to conceal her presence in such a way. Kaula had taken the role of passing on the teachings of the Crane school, seemingly in her own way as she had learned from the girl's first apprentice. Of course the bit about Bing becoming the successor to her father's role was something she had been familiar with, and although it had taken a while, she had finally accepted it as a fact.
However, that wasn't everything. Walker had chosen to display the height of his ascension, both figuratively and literally as he grown into what one could only describe as a 'Titan of a Tree'. Still, the transformation had left the girl quite fascinated at the changes he underwent, causing her to tap her chin lightly while tilting her head to the side in a thoughtful way, clearly thinking and considering the facts she had seen just now.
"So the theory is confirmed. One can force their body into an ascension if they were to approach their limits in a different way. I assume that you reached the next step of evolution as a result of the aforementioned meditating, and likely were able to use the Holy Water as a catalyst to force your body to change. One could say that rather than absorbing an individual, you absorbed the liquid and drew power from that. If that's the case one could likely even find different sources of power to manifest this 'cocoon of evolution'."
The bio-android seemed genuinely fascinated, but in the end she mused with a hint of sadness in her tone.
"But judging from your ascension and comparing it to when I ascended for the first time the maximum potential of such an enforced evolution is lesser than when one consumed the energy and potential of a powerful opponent."
Nevertheless, after the arrival of a serpentine creature Reikiko sipped some of the liquid that had been poured in the cup, and with Walker clearly confused and curious about her whereabouts and situation, the bio-android finally lowered the cup onto the table as she replied, her cheerful tone growing more somber into a neutral one.
"I believe that you awoke shortly after the Saiyajin invasion, didn't you? I guess I should start at the beginning then... With the destruction of Avalon. As you likely recall, I was created as a part of the Chimera project."
The Chimera Project, a experiment that involved the creation of several powerful bio-androids, sisters whose sole purpose was to best each other and absorb their fallen sibling. By carrying out this vile deed they could obtain the very power of their prey and ascend to a greater level of existence. According to the project it was possible that at the end of the Chimera project, the one that remained would have gone past the boundaries of mortality, to become the thing closest to what humanity called a 'God'.
"The one responsible for my master's death, my sister Yuriko had launched an ambush onto Avalon while I was away. The attack was devastating, and the entire island was destroyed in the process. However, the most painful loss for me personally was the fact I lacked the power to prevent Hikari from receiving a near-fatal attack that left her in a comatose for several months. Nevertheless, the Avalonian Knights still desired their home, so we started to rebuild the island in the form of a large ship. It was shortly after it had been completed that the Solar Saiyan Empire invaded Earth."
Reikiko sighed in annoyance at the mentioning of the event, closing her eyes briefly as if she was recalling something.
"We might had won the war, but at what cost? So much destruction and sorrow was caused by the Saiyajin. While my thoughts were consumed by concern for our planet's future, there was a growing shadow of despair within my heart. Heroes of our planet, even some of the 'glorious' warriors that fought under Bing's guidance had voiced a clear sense of distrust in me. I understood their feelings at the time, in the end I did commit some serious crimes during the events at West Capitol that led to the rise of the Blue Banner Army. Nevertheless, I couldn't forgive them for the fact some of them had mellowed down to the very people that invaded us. Saiyajin who 'seemingly' betrayed the empire, the mere thought that they would rather side with our planet's enemy, instead of giving me a chance to prove my intentions had made me believe that Earth would never accept me as one of its own, one of its guardians. It was clear as daylight, especially when the rumors of those heroes rejecting me led to a divided Avalon. Some of the refugees we took in started to fear me, and hushed whispers of my existence as a monster started to rise."
The bio-android paused momentarily, seemingly giving Walker a moment to response when she finally continued.
"As you can imagine I didn't take those accustations well, especially after trying to follow into my father's footsteps. I conceived a plan that would have ended my fears, but Hikari and Vipoi easily debunked it, and as a result I sought solitude within the forest while I sought the answers I needed. In the end I arrived at a point where I realized the answers had been within me all along: The fact I shouldn't care about the opinions the masses have about me. As long as those I care for know who and what I truly am, then all is well. I discarded my concerns, embracing my true nature as a predator and a bio-android once more. Nevertheless, as you can likely sense the battle against my sister, and the fight against a Saiyajin who surpassed the famous Supah Saiyajin form forced most of the energy I had gained from my ascension, an ascension that was flawed due to my subconsciously rejection of my true nature."
She briefly turned her gaze sideways, noticing that Hikari was still consumed by her conversation with the Minotaur when she finally voiced her concerns.
"Unfortunately that leaves us is a complicated situation. The Saiyajin might had been defeated, but they are surely regrouping and growing in power, merely waiting for an opportunity to launch their campaign once more. The 'heroes' of our planet have grown weak. Some of them might still be willing to fight the Saiyajin, but a lot of them clearly have mellowed down. We got some who ignore the threat they represent, others who wouldn't mind us being slaves to their warmongering culture... And for the one with the potential to stop them... He is in a rather complicated situation where a reckless action could divide the planet entirely."
Her small hands that had been holding the cup seemed to had tightened their grip as she continued speaking.
"Sadly from my time at Vegeta I do not believe that the Saiyajin are as harmless as people make them out to be. Their warmongering ways will not rest until the whole galaxy is under their heel, and I refuse to let this planet become property of a species that believes everyone aside from themselves to be inferior. Such a close-minded civilization is neither interesting nor prospering for our planet... And I do not exactly believe one would be able to change the ways of a stubborn woman like their current Queen."
The girl smiled briefly, taking a deep breath before she declared in a harsh tone that shown her seriousness toward the matter.
"No Walker, the only way to end the threat that the Saiyajin represent is to destroy the Solar Saiyan Empire. To decapitate its leadership, and forcefully remove their warmongering ways. Figuratively one could say it means cutting off the head of the snake before it can bite again. Of course it does mean we need to find a suitable replacement for the throne, one who we could be certain of that they won't become a threat to Earth. Or force them into submission to our terms with an iron fist... Then again, as tough as my carapace might be, I currently lack the strength to be the knife to cut off the snake's head, or the fist to keep them in submission. At the very least until I ascend to my true power once more..."

Walker's hands tightened around his cup as he listened to Reikiko's words, the story a far blunter portrayal of his missing time. He had known Avalon had fallen, but for it to vanish twice... that was a tragedy. He also, to his disappointment, had to acknowledge what Rei was saying. His ascension to the next level had not been nearly as strong as hers, not by a long shot. Additionally, she had apparently managed to force even more power out, and something told the tree that, even if he tried, he would not increase his strength again until he managed to fully evolve. There didn't seem to be any further potential in this form, no "mastered" level. It was disappointing, but perhaps to be expected.
"I'm not surprised that I turned out weaker than you did. I essentially fed off my own energy to cause a chain reaction, propelling myself to where I am now. It was unusual, but then, I am not a typical Bio-Android. My absorption, when I used it, did not... properly function as it was intended. The absorption consumed the life energy of the person, rather than their physical form." He wasn't sure what happened to the people afterwards. If it was merely death, that would have been fine, but he suspected there was something else to it. After all, he had gained more than just energy on a few occasions. Although, this was sparking an idea in his mind. Something that he had left as of yet unfinished.
As Rei began speaking of the Saiyans, however, the tree nearly dropped his cup. It was a bit of a shock to hear his own thoughts echoed out from someone else. Last time, it had been an SSE soldier, speaking of how the earth was weak, dependent on the few. It had been true then, and it was true now. Earth's fighters were complacent, ignoring the growing threat of the SSE, the chaos they could cause. Even Kaula... His fist tightened, and with a quiet crunch, his tea-cup was snapped in two. She had stopped him over Vegeta, prevented the possible weakening of the empire. Oh, the Z-Fighters had claimed it was just going to anger the Saiyans, but wouldn't destroying their Throneworld lessen their forces? Break their leadership and government? Sure, Zuccetta would be angry, perhaps try to attack again, but what was Earth supposed to do? Just try and avoid angering the warmongering queen, hope she would never try what she had done again? It was idiotic. Calming himself, he turned to Rei and nodded slowly. "I agree. The Saiyans are problem that must be halted, before they spread out of control. For some reason, the fighters of Earth have failed to band together and face off against Zuccetta, and when she was here, they let her go." Exhaling, his eyes narrowed.
"So, not long ago, I attempted to at least throw SOME sort of block in the way of the empire. A sin, to be sure, but one within my power, since nobody else seemed willing to do anything. Shortly after Bing left to confront the queen on Kanassa, I left myself, heading for Vegeta." One finger tapped on the table, his rage evident. The memories of the recent confrontation over the planet were flooding back, and his recollection was not improving his mood. One chance, ripped away. He was starting to doubt whether the Half-Saiyans in the Z-Fighters really understood just what had occurred. Those people the SSE killed, they were gone. No Dragonballs had been used to wish them back, and it was doubtful any were strong enough to return from the Otherworld through their own power. In their own thoughtless way, the Z-Fighters were just another example of the strong trampling on the weak.
Folding his hands, Walker leaned forward. "I went to Vegeta, and I floated above the planet. As a single act of mercy, I gave them 10 minutes warning, enough time for me to charge my attack and allow perhaps some to escape the planet. My intent was to destroy the planet. To, as you said, cut the head off the snake. I was stopped." His fist slammed down on the table, and his voice was no longer calm. Despite the fact that his power was suppressed, the voice of his Qliphoth form was issuing through his mental speech, the telepathy transmitting his emotions somewhat.
"Not by SSE troops, no. Nor by some quirk of fate. KAULA, of all people, with Toma and Maeve of the Z-Fighters behind! One of them, I might have been able to defeat, but certainly not all three. I was sent home in defeat, while they proceeded to Vegeta. Why they did this, I still do not understand." He cooled somewhat, sighing and spinning the shattered remains of his teacup around and around on one finger. "But it doesn't matter. It only proved what you yourself have said."
"However." He suddenly stopped the spinning, hand grabbing the broken cup and crushing it, dust falling from between his fingers. "I put my life on the line once. I do not fear the Otherworld, for many have returned from it. As such, Rei, I have a proposal." Looking at the smaller Bio-Android, he folded his hands. "I believe you are one of the few that could fight the queen, perhaps take us back from oblivion. Additionally, I have certain business I must resolve before I can reach the level you, Bing, and Kaula have reached. Business in the Otherworld. You say you need the power of someone else to regain your former might?"
His hand slapped against his chest. "I was willing to brave Hell to stop the Saiyans. That hasn't changed. Merely my methods. Take my power, and I will see if I am truly capable of defending the earth. If I am able to be stopped by mere mortality, then clearly I have overestimated myself." Standing up, he lifted Slither, rubbing it's head for a moment. "All I would ask... between you and Hikari, I can truly test where I stand, and I would much prefer to go out in battle." Finishing his speech, he waited for the Bio-Android's response.
Rei, like Kaula, was one of his friends, and someone he looked up to. Once, long before when Bing had been a rival, it had been mentioned that if it was required, the fighter would allow Walker to absorb him to help defeat a truly monstrous foe, to protect the earth in death. The idea had been frightening, but it had made sense. If power could be consolidated, if one could empower another, then in desperate times, it would be done. He had made the offer. All that remained was to see Rei's reaction.
Not far away, within one of the rooms of the island, two glowing green eyes peered out a window. Listening to the current conversation, they closed for a moment, then re-opened. They had been imbued with their father's will, and listening to his intent, resolved to support it. If Walker was to die, then the Cathedral would be kept safe until his return. An impregnable Bastion, protecting his legacy should he never return....

When Walker's emotions started to surface, an event that was quite rare as far as Reikiko was concerned, the knowledge that Bing had left his sanctuary on the planet to settle some matter with the queen on Kanassa had made the bio-android wonder what events had transpired upon the distant planet. For the Kami to leave Earth was unheard of, so it must had been something as important as the day he put his life on the line during the invasion of the Saiyajin. Nevertheless, when Walker told her his recent actions she couldn't help but narrow her eyes slightly, a hint of annoyance in her tone.
"That isn't cutting of the snake's head Walker, that's genocide. And even then, unfortunately your actions would have been useless. Considering the fact it was Kaula and some of the Z-fighters that stopped you, I would be inclined to say that the leadership of the Solar Saiyan Empire was elsewhere. I firmly believe those individuals would be too proud to let others fight their battles. Well, at least most of them. I am hesitant to say I understand the Queen's psychology, for the fact she had waited till I engaged the corrupted Vipoi in battle makes me believe she has a slightly different approach than most Saiyajin."
She smiled briefly, shaking her head while she mused out loud.
"It's no wonder that they tried to stop you. This wasn't a matter of destroying the source of their aggressive civilization, you were about to destroy the whole planet. Although it's a decision I can sympathize with to an extend, I doubt the others would, to them you were simply about to commit a crime known as Genocide, and turned into a villain that had to be stopped."
Reikiko finished her explanation with a light nod while she paused for a moment.
"And that is where our ideals differ Walker. I plan to eliminate the Saiyajin's leadership, and try to find a suitable puppet ruler. Nevertheless, if such a person can not be found... I would not hesitate for a second to take the burden myself. If becoming a tyrant that the Saiyajin respect and obey out of fear, then so be it. While I genuinely hope I'll be able to have Kaula come to terms with the threat the Saiyajin civilization currently represents... I believe in a worst case scenario I shall have to render her incapacitated till the deed is done. Still, there might be a chance that if I only eliminate the dangerous elements of their civilization... That she might be willing to listen to reason."
The bio-android's eyes seemed to sharpen in a more focused gaze, seemingly intrigued by the offer Walker made. He seemed to be sharing her opinion, at least for the most part but clearly lacked the power to act upon it. Albeit, Walker was still a significantly strong being, and it was no question that he would have been one of the few on Earth who could truly become a boon to her on terms of her choice of victims. She did mention the thought to Vipoi before, and now the matter was raised by Walker, who was willing to become a sacrifice in exchange for going down in a glorious duel, a request one would have expected from a proud warrior.
"It's a fascinating offer Walker, but before I answer it I'd have to advice precaution. It's unlikely I could beat you at my current level. Perhaps if I tap into the deepest reaches of the Chimera... However, such an act would make me adopt a more aggressive personality Walker. It's unlikely I will be able to snap out of such a state easily, so if you change your mind in the middle of our battle, or someone senses the clash of our energy, then it would be too nearly impossible to stop me, unless someone with a significant difference in strength would attempt to restrain me."
She tapped a fingertip to her chin, seemingly pondering for a moment.
"If I leech into the essence of the Chimera sisters that I absorbed, I would be able to reach a height of power slightly above your own, a choice I would prefer so that I can challenge you to a one on one duel. Hikari, would you please keep an eye on the perimeter to ensure we won't get uninvited guests?"
the hybrid, who seemingly was about to say something had been hushed before she could speak.
"There is no use trying to convince us otherwise Hikari. Surely you must notice it already, that feeling that surrounds Walker?"
Hikari shifted her gaze sideways, clearly uncomfortable while she whispered softly.
"It's the same expression you had when you prepared to join the attack on West Capitol. A look of someone who was determined to do something, or die trying."
The bio-android mused playfully onto those words, a sheepish grin on her lips.
"Whether it's succeed or fail, it seems both options will lead to his death."
Reikiko's jest was ill-received by Hikari, for her cheeks turned red from anger while she shouted.
"This isn't a time to be speaking in jest Rei!"
The bio-android's smile faded away before she nodded her head firmly in response, turning toward Walker.
"She is unfortunately right. I guess you'll have to make your decision now Walker. Still, I'd be lying if I said I didn't look forward to challenging you. In the end, a predator like me only truly feels at their best when clashing against an enemy, with our lives as the gambling chip."

Walker winced at Rei's words. "I... had not thought of that. I was aware the Queen was gone, but not that everyone else was as well. I presumed they would not have ALL of the planet's leadership leave. I will take that under advisement, however. In that case, this may act as atonement as well." He wasn't feeling TOO guilty, as he hadn't done anything, but it was beginning to dawn on him that he may have not thought this through as much as he should have. Rubbing the back of his neck, he sighed. "Well, if you see her before I do, Apologize to Kaula on that count for me. Oh well." Dusting his robes off, he stood. He had trained with Celmaru not long before, and the results had been impressive. There was no other business he needed to take care of for a while, and the Lookout was still in it's pristine state. He was more than prepared, whether he had intended it or not. He had been prepared before Vegeta. "I am determined, Rei. It is clear to me that I need to unlock my own wells of power if I am to truly accomplish anything, and to do that... I cannot let even death halt me." His eyes blazed with energy for a moment, tinges of crimson staining the purple. It was odd, to say the least. "As you have your sisters, I have those who gave the essences, knowingly or not, to create me. I know at least two of them currently reside in Hell. I will go there, face my past, and then fight my way back out if necessary." The determination in his voice made his opinion quite clear. Death was but another challenge to overcome, and the tree had no intention of letting it stop him. His form warping as he stretched, he cracked his neck and sighed. "Ms. Hikari, I understand your reservations. However, what else would you suggest? Anyone else Rei could fight would either be unwilling at best, or far beyond her current level, if they were to give her any serious power. Besides." He laughed, a harsh, joyful laugh. "I have wanted to face off against her for ages now, and while I have no illusions about how it will end, this is my one chance on a somewhat equal level. I find it surprising that I do not seem to possess any Saiyan essence." He floated upwards, looking to the sky. "After all, I do seem to enjoy battle." Glancing at a window, he nodded, and then turned back to Rei. "If we could go a bit away from here? I would rather not destroy my new home during the fight." Lifting up further, he took full advantage of his telepathic message of speech, as he rose up and away from the Cathedral. "I must agree, even if I am not precisely a predator anymore. There is a certain thrill there, one I have not found many times. I am prepared, and aware there is no turning back. Let us face each other, Rei."

The bio-android briefly closed her eyes, as if she was savoring the final droplets of the apple juice she had just consumed when finally she raised herself out of the chair. Despite Hikari's concerned look the bio-android gave her a reassuring smile. There was no denying the fact that this was about to become an intensive fight, and Walker's request to fight somewhere distant from the floating island was a request she understood, at the very least due to her own memories of the time she had spend upon Avalon. A momentary silence lingered in the air as Reikiko followed behind Walker, her eyes cast upon his back and for a moment she felt a somewhat curious sensation. It wasn't the rising excitement for the battle that would await her, but a certain fondness, a warm emotion she sometimes felt when looking at certain individuals. Then again, now wasn't the time for such thoughts, especially with them reaching the edge of the building while the titan-sized Walker started to hover off the island. No, it was time for her to allow her true nature to surface. A deep breath escaped her lips, and alongside it the thoughts that had lingered in her mind started to disappear.
If she wanted to properly challenge Walker the only option was for her to use the ability most Bio-androids called Bio-metabolism. In Reikiko's way this meant channeling the dormant energy that she had gained by devouring her sisters, and while there was no fancy transformation to accompany this act, Walker would most certainly have felt the change. The previously stable energy, a modest fount of power that surrounded her at all times had suddenly burst free into a fiery flame, a purplish aura of energy that wrapped around her while the density of her presence intensified.
They often said that for a predator a moment of opportunity was the most vital element of a battle, and with Walker moving away from the Cathedral she had decided to give him a 'hand', or quite literally a foot. A sudden rush had accompanied the spike in power, and if Walker had not moved in time he would most likely have felt the pressure of the Bio-android's knee in his back, a blow with enough strength to send even his monstrously-large body reeling away from the island.
Whether her ambush had succeeded or not, the moment they had made their distance away from the island Reikiko's lips had been curved up into a smirk of mischief, explaining her intentions with a tone that clearly suited her demeanor that might had reminded one of a cat playing with prey.
"Just giving you a little hand in getting away from your home~ Or in this case it's a foot I guess."
She giggled sheepishly while her aura started to slowly spark into a more lively state. Yes, her body was starting to adapt to the energy she had been calling forth. Just a bit longer before the thirst for prey would truly settle in. In the back of her mind she could still feel Hikari's presence, observing them from a distance while the bio-android turned toward Walker.
"I'm about to turn into my Chimera mentality any moment now Walker. so I'll apologize in advance for any rude remarks, foul play or downright torture that is guaranteed to follow."
The child giggled softly, taking a deep breath before adopting a combative stance.
"At least I'll grant you the chance to retaliate back for that kick first."

[PL: 195,855//Ki Suppression On]
Etoru sat in the forest beside a tree. He was just...thinking. He was really worried on what was going on with Bing. He had little doubt Bing would lose. After all, he is the Serpent master! Etoru grew a faint smile, but that smile soon faded away. The sunlight beamed on his face as he hugged his knees. His tail swayed across the grass back and forth. Etoru sensed extremely powerful energy there. In fact, he can feel Zerori's energy there too which worried him. What was she doing there? Etoru sighed. He couldn't be worrying about this right now. Bing's coming back obviously. He doesn't lose! He just can't! How could someone as powerful as him be defeated. Ha. That's funny. As the child sat beside the tree, birds sung and animals did their daily business. A butter fly fluttered past Etoru's face. It passed the light, it's wings glittering majestically. Etoru smiled a bit. Being here eased his mind. This place was awesome! Suddenly, something darkened the sky's. Etoru frowned and looked up seeing a...giant island floating by?!
Etoru craned his neck up, his mouth gaped open, eyes wider than gumballs. "Wait...do I sense Mr.Walker up there...?" Etoru frowned. He sensed another powerful energy there as well. What in the world was going on...? Etoru walked and followed the island. His feet crunched against the grass and fallen leafs. He was in his usual outfit. A white T-Shirt and black training pants with his little brown shoes. His tail swayed back and forth as he walked. Keeping his ki suppressed, he floated up to the level of the island simply just observing. He watched the two conversate. Etoru sighed in boredom. She looked oddly familiar. In fact, she looked TOO familiar. Etoru squinted and realized that was the girl who he saw on the lookout during that gathering of warriors preparing for the Saiyan invasion. Etoru smirked. "Well it's certainly been a while since I last saw her huh. Oh man I got so much stronger since then, wait till she sees my new strength!" While it was true they never really talked persay, but he did show off his strength before.
"Maybe I should go say hi!" Etoru was about to fly down when something...happened. They both started to fly away from the location. The other companion however seemed to be on the lookout. Etoru frowned. What was going on? As Walker was flying, he saw Rei cheap shot him in the back. Etoru's eyes widened. This didn't look good. He needed to get in there and help, or at the very least, figure out what was going on. He was NOT going to lose another friend! NO! He wouldn't allow it! But how would he get passed 'her'. He looked at Hikari frowning. For all Etoru knew, they might not even be enemies and this was a spar. However, by the looks of it, she seemed ready to get serious. Etoru couldn't take the risk of Walker dying. He cared to much for his friend, and so the Saiyan hybrid needed to formulate a plan to get passed Hikari.
He floated cross-legged as he watched. "...Think...Think...Think..." Etoru put his hand to his chin. "Hm..." Frowning when he thought of nothing. Each plan he came up with always involved a second person. "Ugh...if only there were two of me..." His eyes lit up. "That's it!" Etoru grinned sheepishly. "Ehehehe..." Watching Hikari, he waited for the right moment. "...One....two....three....now!" Etoru bolted out of his hiding place and soared towards Hikari. He glared at her as he speeded towards her. As he was flying, a golden aura snapped onto him revealing his super saiyan and his speed increased dramatically. Despite his golden appearance, his tail remained brown. Once Etoru was just a few feet away from her, he grinned. "NOW!" And with that, a bunch of Super Saiyan Etoru clones poofed up beside him. They all attempted to swarm Hikari. Should they succeed, they'd grasp onto her tightly. He had no intention of hurting her until he figured out what was going on. "SORRY! I JUST DIDN'T THINK YOU'D LET US---Uh, I mean ME, pass!" Etoru stated awkwardly before bolting off.
The clones on Hikari would snicker. "Gotchya!" One would say. An Etoru grasped onto her leg rolled his eyes. "Shut up will ya. You know we wont last that long idiot." An Etoru grasped on her arm blinked confused. "Wait, if he's an idiot, doesn't that make us all idiots since we're one in the same?" All the clones mumbled amongst each other. They looked at Hikari. "What do you think miss?" Mean while, on the real Etoru's side, he soared towards Rei and Walker. He stopped a few meters away. "Mr.Walker!!! Are you okay...?!" He frowned. "What's going on?! Why is she attacking you! Ugh this all doesn't make sense." While that went on, the clones on Hikari would poof away allowing her to move.

He hadn't been expecting the foot to the back, but he wasn't particularly surprised either. Pragmatism was the order of the day, and honestly, he would have been a bit disappointed if Rei hadn't tried something. It meant he was a threat, at least. Chuckling, he straightened up, and looked towards Rei, a gleam in his eye. "I don't mind at all. I understand if you get a bit... wordy, but I understand why. We cannot help how we are made, those like us especially." Laughing, a bit manic, the tree threw his arms wide. His body exploded outwards, like before, except this time, it seemed to halt and reverse. When it stopped, he was back in his evolved form, power flowing forth, but he was not Oozaru sized. It seemed he was capable of compressing the power of his larger form into a smaller body. Smaller being extremely relative, in this case, as Walker's typical height was still a quite tall 3 meters. Bringing all four fists together, the tree's flaming head blazed in the Mid-evening air. "Yes, I think I will get a blow in, if I can." Zipping towards Rei, his long taloned fingers extended, suddenly glowing with energy. The power wrapped around them, forming trails of energy. As he came close, he swept the arms forward, roaring "MYSTIC TEAR!" as he did. Large slash-marks appeared in the air, tracing the movement of his fingers as they dug towards Rei, trying to slam into the terrifying Bio and blow her back, just as she had done to Walker. He would have tried to use a normal punch of kick, but anyone with Ki sense could feel Rei powering up, and he knew that by the time he reached her, she would have surpassed his power. His own "Predator Mode" had never given this kind of boost, but then again, he had never really been hunting as Rei was now. Backing off rapidly as she reached full power, whether or not his attack hit, he had to chuckle. This was where he was at the moment. It was farther than he thought, but still far, far below his goal. Arms brought forth, he was just about to lose himself in the battle-lust, when suddenly a voice called out. "MR WALKER!" Down below, the familiar form of Mr. Urote... wait, no, he wasn't wearing the glasses. The familiar form of Etoru appeared, calling up to the two. Normally, the tree would be glad to see him, but this was... rather incredibly awkward timing. "We're fine, Etoru, we're just sparring. We're Bio-Androids, we can regenerate. Thus, we can fight much harder." His voice was a little strained, trying not to snap at the young saiyan, but it was difficult. Of all the Z-Fighters, Etoru was the least likely to understand. He was quite literally a child, and much like most people on this planet, saw death as a final thing. It was rather ridiculous, considering they had wished back fallen members not long before. Sending a mental message to Hikari, Walker stayed on the defensive, weaving back and forth and trying to predict Rei's next attack. "Ma'am, if you wouldn't mind trying to get him to shove off, this is a bit of a personal fight." It was phrased as politely as he could make it, but there was an undisguised annoyance running through his tone.

To say that Etoru's arrival was to be expected, most certainly would have been a lie. In the end Reikiko had not expected that there would be many that would have been either ignorant of her presence, or foolish enough to come close to the battlefield when she occupied it. Indeed, the deception of the child had worked remarkably well, even if it had been an elementary trick, likely since Hikari had yet to power up.
"Hey, wait a moment!"
Her attempt to verbally warn and convince the boy to stay back had unfortunately been ignored as a small crowd of copies of the boy in his Super Saiyan condition had started to cling to her. She had to react fast, as was evident when Walker telepathically asked her if she could do something about the child. It was rather unfortunate that her ascension to the legendary form would have to be in this matter again...
Nevertheless, at the same time Hikari was being tackled Reikiko's lips curved upwards into a mischievous grin. The large additional arms that erupted out of the tree's back did little to disrupt her, no with the change in her demeanor it seemed the sign of the large arms had clearly stirred the bio-android's excitement. However, it was shortly when Walker started to use his arms to claw into the air that a strangely familiar child appeared by his side. A distraction?!
"I wouldn't exactly call this sparring!"
Reikiko's voice was raised into an excited shout, clearly seemingly to be having no intention of avoiding the attack that was launched her way. No, instead she had remained stationary, her ki clearly starting to burn outwards as a sign she was charging up an attack. However, no beam or explosion followed... Rather, the aura seemed to expand outwards like a burning flame, and finally the bio-android soared forwards, straight into the claws!
It was only a moment that her body clashed against the ki-infused projectile, her aura slamming into the energy when after a few moments it finally seemed to dominate the struggle. The bio-android's rush returned, seemingly reappearing before Walker, and if he wasn't quick on his toes he would have become the suspect of a flurry of attacks. A series of rapid knee strikes aimed toward his chest, continued by a blurry sidestep where she reappeared near his shoulder, intending to slam her own into his to force a knockback effect when finally she unloaded a swift barrage of basic ki blasts toward him. It had all happened in a smooth combination, a technique known as 'Blitz Mode'.
"You heard him kiddo, this is a duel between warriors, a fight where our lives are the gambling chips... A child has NO PLACE here!"
She glared angrily at Etoru, yet at the same time it seemed Hikari had finally been prepared to deal with the little nuisance the clones had been. A surge of power could be felt from nearby, and Reikiko's smile seemed to return when suddenly that familiar voice resounded through the air.
"Get back here Etoru!"
Hikari's transformation into the Super Saiyan form had been accompanied by a blast of energy, one that seemingly had been enough to wipe out the clones and at the same time made her rush toward the boy, clearly placing herself between the Saiyan child and the fighting bio-androids.
"Do not try to stop them, for such a gesture is wasted on those who prepared to fight to the death for their dreams. If you do intend to try to disrupt their fight, then I'll be forced to be a bit less... gentle as I was toward your clones."
She gestured with a hand toward the spot she had been at earlier, and it seemed the Etoru clones had been rendered unconscious, and in a rather terrifying manner. Each of them had their pants lowered, and their rear was looking crimson red, clearly spanked quite harshly when finally they would have likely disappeared in a poof of smoke.
"To protect the planet they love, they would be willing to do things we can't comprehend. Whether it means sacrificing oneself, or becoming a individual that the world despises. I will not let you sully their conviction by disturbing their duel!"
Yep, it seemed that if Etoru was going to try to continue his disturbance, there would likely be some form of troubles for sure! In the meanwhile Reikiko had started hovering in the air above Walker, grinning smugly while making a beckoning motion with her hand.
"Surely you got more in store than Walker. Or did the Woodpecker get away with your tricks?"

It seemed that Etoru's clones seemed to hold of Hikari a bit. Good. That'll buy him some time. Besides, they're super saiyans, ha! The only way she'd break out is once the time limit is over! Hehehehee! Etoru frowned as the battle raged on between Rei and Walker. He soared as fast as he could before he stated his words and demands on what the heck was going on. Walker seemed surprised Etoru got here. The tree claimed they were just sparring. Etoru frowned at his claims. It was believable, but hardly. At the power they were going at, one couldn't tell it was a spar. However, Etoru was a bit naive. "Oh...I-I mean...don't you think your um...being a little rough Mr.Walker....you can get se-seriously hurt and---" Suddenly, Reikiko cut the child off. Apparently she claimed they weren't sparring. Etoru frowned. He knew something was up. Reikiko sent a flurry at attacks towards Walker. Etoru widened his eyes and glared at her, extremely concerned for his friend. Reikiko told him this was a battle between warriors, they were gambling their lives, and a 'child' had no place here! WHAT THE HECK?! AGAIN! He was being discriminated by his age! BY ANOTHER KID! "Hold up! You're a kid too dummy!" Etoru frowned. Gosh it really irritated him, when people discriminated him because of his age. He glared angrily back at Reikiko as she glared at him. Suddenly, he felt a surge of power come out of no where! "Huh? Isn't that where my Super Saiyan clones held that g--no way..." Etoru gulped and looked back. He saw an energy wave blast the clones out away and her soaring towards him calling out 'get back here Etoru!'. Etoru gulped and looked extremely startled. "Uh oh...!" Suddenly, she blocked his only path to Walker and Reikiko. They battled it out while he stood their, helpless once again. Dang it! This stupid super saiyan girl was blocking his---wait, super saiyan?! "Whoa wait what?! You're a Super Saiyan too?!" He frowned. This gets worse and worse. She warned him that he shouldn't fight, or she'll be less gentle with him than his clones? What did that even mean? When she pointed, he looked back. All his clones were toppled over with their pants down and red hand marks on their rears. Some had fresh tears, some had looks of distress, but they were all out cold. Etoru gulped. "n....no way!" A cold sweat ran down his neck. Instinctively, he put his hand behind his rear end frowning taking a step back. She stated that in order to protect the planet they love, which meant sacrificing oneself or becoming someone everyone despises?! "M-Mr.Walker is going to sacrifice himself?!" Etoru looked at the back of Rei, noticing she had a Bio-Android tail. Just like those two freaks of natures, Zyajin and Contagion! Etoru growled. He was starting to grasp what was going on. Walker telling him it was just a duel sort of shows that he's letting her do this, but if the case why fight? It all didn't add up! Etoru frowned. He perked his head up at Hikari. Looking at her with a bit of a sad look in his eyes, he glanced at Walker. "M-Mr.Walker...! I...I...think...I mean...ugh! Look that girl your fighting is trying to absorb you! Don't you get it Mr.Walker?!" He glanced at Hikari frowning. He had two options. Sit back and observe, or try to take her on. He clenched his fists. He couldn't lose another friend! But...rushing in wouldn't do any good either! Walker didn't want his help for some reason! Etoru felt like it wasn't pride talking, but rather he didn't want someone interfering. He was lost. "Fine if I have to fight you...THEN TAKE THIS!" Etoru kicked off and threw a punch towards her face. HOWEVER, he stopped in midair, his hand inches away from her face shaking. Truth be told, he was afraid. He wanted to protect his friend but...this was a REAL battle! He didn't know these people! They wouldn't think twice about killing him, not like Jarvis or Zerori! He shook a bit before slowly descending and landing on his knees hanging his head. "D...Damn..." Tears dripped and smacked the floor. He clenched his fists giving it hard thinking whether to try and help or not. ---- Etoru threw a punch at Hikari, but stopped in midair. Etoru's afraid and debating if he should jump in or not.

Wincing as he was buffeted by the opponent's fist, Walker tried to control his positioning, but it was no use. Even guarding, he was knocked away from Etoru, thrown through the sky like a rag-doll until he managed to right himself. Cracking his neck, he breathed heavily, and frowned at Rei. "You're scaring him." Kicking off of nothing, he leapt forward to deliver a vicious low kick towards the opponent, followed by a series of punches from all four of his arms. The blows howled through the air, the speed leaving small thunderclaps in it's wake as Walker grit his teeth, both annoyed and excited. As down below, Etoru tried to call up to him, he attempted to put the child's redundant warnings out of his head. Yes, Rei was trying to absorb him, that was rather the point. However, Hikari was understandably hesitant to beat up a 6 year old, it seemed, and he felt somewhat obligated to settle the score. It really wasn't any of his business what was currently going on, but he seemed concerned, after all. "Etoru, I will be fine. If Zuccetta had been stopped, this wouldn't be necessary. As it is, we need fighters capable of facing her, and neither you or I are at that level yet." He laughed, a wild, bloodthirsty laugh, and slammed his hands together, before spinning about Rei and starting to send claw-strike after claw-strike at her, tearing at the Bio and her defenses. His hands, normally sharp-looking as it was, had refined to sharp points, and his increased number of limbs meant they could come from multiple directions. It wasn't enough to do real damage, but he needed a moment for what he intended to try next. After all, an all-out attack would need every drop of Ki he could muster. That was why it was called an All-Out Attack. "I don't intend to stay in the Otherworld for long. Just long enough to find someone, a missing piece of my past. Then, I will be back." Slamming his hands together, he fired off a flurry of simple Ki blasts, peppering Rei with energy shots. Leaping back from the cloud of dust, he concentrated on gathering his Ki, returning to full power. It would be difficult with how hard he was being pressed, but hopefully that had bought him the moment or two he needed for his body to regain ground. Cracking his neck, he pre-emptively brought up his hands, ready to guard against whatever was coming for him.
Ki Points: 2/3 +1 for no Tech use 3/3 Walker continues attacking, trying to dissuade Etoru. The tree prepares for a full power attack. [Sorry it's so short, but today's a really busy day and I didn't want to fluff too much.]

It seemed that Etoru was quite surprised at the arrival of the transformed Hikari, whose eyes had narrowed into a stern look toward the boy. She did understand his confusion, in the end she lacked the tail most Saiyajin had, and her personality didn't exactly qualify for the common attitude a Saiyan tended to show either.
"Yes, although the blood of both a human and a Saiyajin flows through my veins, I have learned to tap into the power of the state people call a Supah Saiyajin."
It appeared that even her identity as an opponent who possessed such a form was unlikely to be enough to convince the boy, especially as he verbally tried to convince Walker to stray from the decision he had made. While she secretly held the wish she could have done the same, her respect for both warriors made her unable to act upon those feelings. When she noticed the twitch in the boy's shoulder, soon followed by his raised fist Hikari had raised one of her hands, intending to intercept his blow and grapple him into a submission hold, it had been unnecessary for Etoru's fist slowed down, his hesitation likely causing the fist to merely rest against her hand as she tried to lower it backwards to his side.
"You seem to be misunderstanding something. To you this must be looking like a murder attempt, doesn't it?"
She paused for a moment, her gaze shifting to the battle raging on nearby when she finally continued speaking.
"However, you couldn't be farther from the truth. Reikiko isn't trying to kill him out of entertainment or hatred. Look more carefully."
At the same time she said those words Walker had clearly taken the offense, his arms swinging with dangerous speed and sharpness at her. It was like each arm had been a clawed appendage, and although Reikiko had been the type of warrior who tended to value speed over strength when it came to close-quarters combat, this was clearly getting a bit too much for her. The first flurry of attacks had been easy enough for her to read. Whether it was sidesteps, backwards maneuvers or even motions that might had been compared to acrobatics, the continuous assault had finally paid off when one of the attacks that came from the side had hit her. It was only scratch, the claw-like strike having only slightly hit her, but the attack had been enough for her to become forced into a defensive role. A powerful second strike forced her to raise her arm, the toughness of her carapace clearly evident as the attack felt like it had hit an iron shield, but the third strike had hit her cleanly in the chest. It was a powerful blow, one enough to leave a small crack onto the scales that covered the area that had been hit. At the same time she had even been send reeling backwards, but recovered quickly enough to make a backwards leap to put some distance between herself and her opponent. The child-like bio-android seemed slightly surprised, a hand reaching for her chest, a fingertip trailing lightly over the small crack that was akin to a scar, and after a moment of disbelief she grinned excitedly at Walker.
"She is fighting him out of respect and pride. It would have been simple to just absorb him without any struggle, but her respect for him caused her to accept his request for this duel. Their pride doesn't allow it to be otherwise, for at the heart of their being they are both warriors. What you see right now are two warriors fighting to the death, having put their lives and pride on the line to represent their shared dream. You would dishonor them by trying to stop them."
She hoped she could at least convince Etoru to stand down, in the end the last thing she wanted was to see needless casualties, especially one who seemed to be a friend of Walker. However, she decided to at least try to continue her attempt to convince him through a pacifying kindness.
"It's not that I do not understand your reasoning. I don't want to see Reikiko devour a friend we all care for, but this might be our only way to ensure Earth has a guardian powerful enough to end the threat the Solar Saiyan Empire has become. To ensure there won't be a second invasion or a war where the casualties aren't only soldiers, but thousands of innocent people."
Of course the words had fallen upon deaf ears when it came to Reikiko, for she had become too absorbed in her excitement for the battle that was happening. She could sense Walker's growing energy, a hint that he was likely about to pull out one of his secret techniques to surprise her. What type of attack would he bring forth? She was genuinely curious, but also excited to face it.
"It's not often someone has the power to leave a scratch on my carapace, you really grown up... and it makes me happy."
Her lips curved into a smirk as she finished her comment by adding a little bit of a extra.
"Because it means you won't break the moment I get serious~"
Hikari's expression had grown sorrowful, explaining to Etoru with a clear concern in her voice.
"Unfortunately even in her weakened condition I doubt Walker will be able to best her, especially when she gets serious. That devastation during the events at West Capitol... An attack with such destruction that none has been able to declare they survived its full power... Not even Administrator Azure, who is the one she considers her true rival. The moment she uses that forbidden attack it will most likely be settled."
---- Reikiko: KP: 3/3 (1 regained from no action use) Battle Actions: Dodged most of the flurry of attacks, but got hit by several at the end, leading to Reikiko's carapace to receive a little crack/cut while allowing her to make some distance
Hikari: KP: 3/3 *Using pacify no jutsu to try to talk Etoru into standing down/not interfere in their battle*

Etoru was on his knees looking at the floor shaking. He couldn't bare it. How is he just sitting there letting Walker fight alone! Sure Walker doesn't want his help but...Etoru doesn't want his friend to die! Then Walker said it. If she didn't absorb him, then they would have a warrior powerful enough to take on Zucceta. Etoru looked at him blankly. "S...So...h-he's...letting himself get absorbed?!" It all didn't add up! Etoru was left in shock! "B...B....But...." He stared at the ground sniffling. He felt hurt. Confused. He's just leaving everything behind without a second thought? He clenched his fists tightly.
Hikari questioned him. She asked if he thought it was some kind of murder attempt or whatever, which Etoru stared confused. Etoru stared at the battle field curiously. Walker seemed to have taken the offensive and attacked Reikiko. Etoru had a faint smile to see him land those hits, but it soon faded away. Reikiko is a powerful foe. There's no way Walker was going to win this. Then she started saying how they're fighting for pride. Etoru grit his teeth and clenched his fists tightly. "Pride and respect huh..." Etoru murmured out, hanging his head. The shading had his eyes covered. The super saiyan child had his fists balled up tightly. He raised his head glaring at her. "SO ALL MY FRIENDS DIED BECAUSE OF SOME STUPID THING CALLED PRIDE?!?! AND NOW WALKERS NEXT?!" Etoru's golden aura flared around intensely. Don't get the situation wrong, from what he can see, he likes Hikari. He thinks she's a good person. It's just that he's all worked up. Right now, Reikiko is his enemy, and she's just in the way of that.
His aura died down a bit, but he still had a frustrated expression on his face. He glared at her. "If you don't want this then STOP IT! A-AND IF YOU WONT PLEASE! JUST LET ME PASS!" Etoru looked at her frowning. "We have more than enough strong warriors to deal with this! This doesn't have to happen! So let me through!" Etoru then looked at Walker frowning angrily. "If I'm not at the level to beat Zucceta, then I'LL GET TO THAT LEVEL! SO JUST STOP THIS YOU BIG DUMMY!" Etoru shook his head fast still unable to quite grasp the situation at hand. "Listen! If she absorbs you, then stops the SSE! THEN WHAT?!? WHAT IF SHE BECOMES THE NEXT BIG BULLY WALKER?! AND YOU'LL BE THE ONE WHO HELPED HER! THERE ARE BETTER WAYS TO STOP THIS!"
Looking back at Hikari he frowned. She stated Walker wouldn't be able to beat her. Etoru knew that much of it. Even Virtual Po fell in combat against her. Etoru clenched his fists. "...then....I'LL BE THE ONE TO DEFEAT HER." He pointed his thumb against his chest glaring. If Hikari disagreed to Etoru's request of moving, then he'd use force. "I don't know your name lady, but I don't want to fight you. But if you wont move, then I'll just PUSH THROUGH!" With that said, Etoru bolted towards her. He sent a sideways kick to her right temple. Whether he succeeded or not, he'd bounce away from her then kick back off the ground sending a barrage of punches towards her. ---- KP: 3/3
Etoru enraged that pride was the reason all his friends are gone.
Etoru asked Walker what would happen after the SSE is gone, and claimed Rei might be a threat later on.
if Hikari didn't move, Etoru would attack her.
