The Saiyan opened his eyes shortly after and set them on the Namekian, he couldn’t help but watch the fight. He knew how to move but he lacked power and that was a real shame, he thought that the green man could have done a lot more as a warrior with a more intense training regimen or anything else that could make him stronger.
The Demon knew how to move himself by the looks of it, and he knew that it could have been an issue if Gnash would have not reacted swiftly enough, he needed a few minutes to charge his attack; else the fight would have been more complex.
“Hm.. better if I get to it right now! I can't waste even a moment!” - he said to himself. He clenched his fists slightly, with a slight bend of the arms, all of the power he had been focusing on begun to surge. His white Ki aura flared up around his body, he was finally charging up his attack.
Though, he needed Gnash if he wanted to make sure of the Demon’s defeat. “Namekian! Come on, just a little more!” - he called him out.

“Namekian! Come on, just a little more!”
“Gngh…” Gnash’s vision blurred. His body had once again been crushed by the earth’s natural formations. He raised his neck, yellow globes piercing straight through the cloud of dust that had surrounded his current residence. It had taken the green man several minutes to even remember how the hell he had ended up here. One second he was charging his enemy.. The next he was back in his early grave. Right.. That’s how he got here. He recklessly launched himself into battle against a much stronger opponent expecting to do the slightest bit of damage to him. That’s how his dumbass ended up here.
He could feel his consciousness slipping in and out of reality, eyelids struggling to defy gravity. There was a sharp pain resonating from the right side of his abdomen, near his hip. Of course, there was a massive amount of pain haunting his entire body, but the mid-section pinged off of his mind at the moment. The demon had struck him with a powerful knee aimed upwards. The attack had been so strong that it felt as if his organs were pushed up underneath his ribs. He felt like he could just open his mouth and vomit his intestines out, simple as that.
Cornatto’s supportive gibberish danced around his eardrums. He still had faith in the Namek? Even after witnessing how effortlessly he got demolished for the second time in a row? Either that, or he was just desperate for the demon not to attack him while he was charging up his attack. More than likely, it was the latter, with good reasoning.
“I wanna play.. Cucumber is too weak to play. You were fun to play with! Stop making bright lights and play with me!” The demon’s taunting voice echoed throughout the small valley. He continued his march towards the Saiyan, intentions on the rise yet again. “We’re gonna have a lot of fun…. Saiyan. LET’S PLA-”
“I told you I have your minutes covered!” Gnash screamed as he flew through the air, ramming his shoulder into the side of the demon’s torso while wrapping his arms around the furry waist. He tackled the demon into a small tree to the right of Cornatto, smashing the both of them straight through it’s trunk. “I may not be able to hurt you.. But I can definitely distract you.” A thin smile crept it’s way to Gnash’s lips as his eyes stared down upon the fallen demon who furiously slammed his fists into the ground, rattling the entire valley.
As if right on time, Gnash flew up into the air, narrowly avoiding the demon’s attempt at returning the tackle favor.
“Gngh…! You stupid cucumber! I-I will KILL YOU!” The demon pressed all four of his limbs against the ground, pushing himself into the air to give chase to the Namek who now held all of his hatred.

The Saiyan frowned slightly, unsure if the Namekian had any chance to provide a distraction to let him charge his attack. Perhaps his expectations were higher than what they should have been, but he knew there was no other way he could have distracted him long enough.
Cornatto grit his teeth, trying to put in more effort to collect as much energy as possible but he knew that his plan would have failed if the Demon would have tried to attack him. Though, the it looked like the Namekian still had a lot to give and hopefully enough for the Saiyan to charge his technique.
He cracked a smile, it was great to see that Gnash was not intending to give up. But he couldn’t let the Demon kill him! He closed his eyes for a brief moment, he was not using all of his energy but he was sure that it was enough to stop the conflict once and for all.
He extended his hands towards him, palms wide open as he’d release the huge, blue beam towards the Demon in the attempt to hit him before the latter one could try to attack the green man.
“TAKE THIS!” - he’d exclaim.
KP [0/0] -3 Cornatto would try to hit the Demon with his [MP3] Giant Kyūtsuyo (200%) = 104.226!

“I just have to lure him around and avoid him until Cornatto is ready to unleash his attack.. This shouldn’t be too difficult.” Those thoughts ran through Gnash’s bald green head as he rapidly circled the valley, occasionally jostling to the right or left to avoid vicious pink ki blasts from behind. In order to defeat this beast, he had to stall for time. Cornatto needed the precious minutes in order to gather up enough energy to be able to defeat him. Unfortunately, there were no other fighters around at the time to help with this, so Gnash was the only option.
He’d previously tried a head-on approach, going straight in to attack the demon. This method did not work out so well in his favor. The demon pummeled him within mere seconds, throwing him to the way side. He tried that method twice, actually, both ending with the same results; Him sent flying into early graves. So, since he couldn’t necessarily fight the demon head on, he’d have to use a more indirect manner; Luring him around until Cornatto was ready. Luckily, or unluckily depending on how you looked at things, the Demon had a very childish demeanor. He didn’t like to lose, and he didn’t like being made to look like a fool. Up until a few minutes ago, he wanted absolutely nothing to do with the Namekian, and everything to do with the Saiyan. His prideful nature is what allowed Gnash to strike him while he wasn’t looking, and subsequently make him look like a fool.
It worked. Gnash had the Demon hot on his trails as he soared through the sky, slipping and weaving in between ki blasts. Fortunately there were a lot of obstacles such as mountains and such around the area for Gnash to maneuver around. Had it not been for them, the demon’s absolute speed would have caught up with him already. Then he’d really be laid out like a cucumber.
As he rounded one of the mountain peaks, he could feel Cornatto’s energy spiking. “I hope he’s saved up enough.. I can’t kite him around forever. He’s gaining on me, inch by inch. I’m sorry if you’re not ready Cornatto.. But I can’t keep up with his speed any longer!” His body engulfed in a blazing magenta cloak of energy, he dived straight down into the valley, turning himself upwards right before he hit the ground. His eyes set on the charging Saiyan, he shot towards him like a torpedo with the demon in tow. As soon as Cornatto extended his palms outwards, Gnash barrel-rolled to Corn’s left, leaving the demon behind to take the brunt of his almighty energy beam.
The impact of the energy beam upon the demon’s beefed up body caused an explosion that rocked the entire basin to it’s core, kicking up dust and smoke everywhere. Soon after he rolled through the air to avoid Corn’s attack, Gnash had taken cover behind a large rock. Not that it would help any in protecting him from such a powerful attack in the first place, but it wasn’t aimed at him. The rock was merely there to help protect him from the aftermath.. The shock wave.
By now, Gnash had powered back down to his normal state, his body returning to normal and the blazing energy dissipating. He raised himself up, holding his arm over his mouth so that it was buried into the crook of his elbow. “Did.. Did he really do it? Did Cornatto beat him with just one move..?”
His question was answered when the smoke began to clear.. He could still feel the demon’s energy. It was there, and he was still alive. But it had.. Diminished? His power level was nowhere near what it had been before. It had even dropped below Gnash’s.. Was that even possible?
Struggling to even hobble at this point, the demon was revealed; He was standing on his right leg, as the other had been torn clean off by the blast, along with the entire left half of his torso and face. The only yellow eyeball left on his head vigorously strained itself to catch a final glimpse of the being who defeated him; Cornatto. “Y-y.. Y-y-you.. I will… K-kill… y-..”
His threat was cut short when he fell flat on his face, pupils disappearing behind hazy eyelids. His power plummeted to absolute zero, ending in his ultimate death. Gnash closed his eyes, obviously disheartened that the battle had ended this way. “I didn’t want him to die… But it was probably necessary.” He lifted his head up, looking over towards Cornatto. The man was damned impressive.

The Saiyan widened his eyes, making sure that the Namekian was able to dodge that and thankfully he did. With that, he had no other doubts and tried to keep up the energy wave as much as possible. He was entirely sure that the Demon could have not handled that too well, he was not sure of the result itself but it could not be any good for him, but he was ready to whatever was necessary to stop him.
He let out a sharp exhale, catching his breath. It was not the fullest extent of his power but it had taken quite a bit of his energy, but he could deal with that, something that the Demon couldn’t apparently do. He frowned, shifting his gaze at the Demon. Some could probably define him an ‘undead’ but not for long.
“Heh. I’m sorry but I fear you won’t kill anyone else.” - he told him. It was.. quite unsual for him to kill anyone, even if he had not planned it, but at least he knew that he did it for good and not for evil; just like the average Saiyan would have done.
He looked at the Namekian, offering a nod. “I didn’t plan that much but at least he won’t hurt anyone else. And.. you? Are you alright?” - he asked. He took a moment to stretch himself, then he jumped down the hill and took his weights once more. "Phew.. thankfully I didn't hit these.. it was a pain in the neck to get enough Zeni so that I could buy these weights." - he thought to himself as he put on his weights once more.

With his chest heaving to and fro, Gnash raised himself from the dirt. He used both of his emerald green hands to wipe the excess dirt and debris from his clothing. They had done it. They had finally done it. They (Most Cornatto), had defeated the tyrant that had plagued their lives and taken many others over the past hour or so. While Cornatto was the true hero of this story, Gnash liked to think that he played a part, even if a small one. Of course, the fact that he couldn’t have beaten this beast alone chipped away at his psyche, he was glad to have met the Saiyan.
“I am ok. My body is a little sore.. But I will be alright. How about you?” Gnash asked, yellow hues glancing over towards Cornatto after he had draped his white cloak over his shoulders. He reattached the pauldron to his right shoulder, bringing the hood up over his scarred face. “Had it not been for you, Cornatto.. I think it’s safe to say that I would have lost my life today. I am not keen on the fact that I needed someone to save my life for me,” He hardened his expression and tone, folding his arms along his chest. Like any man, he had his pride, and it had been crushed today.
“But I am grateful for your interference.. I am in your debt, Cornatto. I may not be able to offer my services right now, as I have a mission I need to accomplish. I will re-pay you someday, in some fashion. That is a promise.” He walked towards the Saiyan, extending his hand forward. “My name is Gnash.”

The Saiyan was glad that the Demon was no more, perhaps it was not necessary but he had the slightest feeling that he would have not changed whatever would have happened. Either way, his death didn’t shake him too much and at least the Namekian was fine. The green man was not that strong but he had helped him a great deal.
“This entire thing could have possibly turned into a huge mess if the Namekian would have not been here, mhm..” - he thought to himself.
He looked at Gnash, offering a reassuring smile while nodding. “I am fine. I suppose I’d thank you or something, you could not give him that much of a challenge but it’d have taken longer if you wouldn’t have been here.” - he told him.
“And you shouldn’t worry that much about it. The first step of getting stronger is take what your opponent gives you and then give all of it back to him.” - he said. The Saiyan knew a few things about it, not all of his spars ended with a victory after all, and he had not expected them to. He did in the past, but he had realized how important could defeats be, even if they were not pleasant.
He took a firm grasp of his hand, nodding slightly. “Nice to meet you, Gnash. You don’t really owe me anything, your.. mission must be important to you I suppose? If that is so, just focus on that. The only thing you could do for me is to train as much as possible.” - he told him, offering a subtle smirk.
“Anyway, what are you doing on this planet if I might ask? I thought you Namekians live on that.. uh..” - he paused for a moment, narrowing his eyes slightly as he tried to remember what he was told about the green men.
“Planet Namek?” - he finished his speech there, looking at him curiously.

Gnash simply nodded at Cornatto’s comments, retracting his hand for the time being. A humble man, Corn was. He didn’t particularly want anything in return for Gnash’s help, only requesting that he train himself to become stronger. A reasonable request, seeing as it may be needed for the future. He couldn’t stay this weak forever, as it may lead to his downfall. His antennae perked up when he began asking why Gnash was on the planet to begin with. He ran his fingers along the length of the brown leather straps that secured his cloak and pauldron around his left shoulder, pondering on how to actually answer this question.
“Yes, Planet Namek is where I was born.. Though my father brought me to Earth shortly after my birth because of a misunderstanding with the village we resided in. I have lived on this planet for most of my life.”
He brought his hand up to wipe some specks of dirt from his face. It was odd that Cornatto had been asking this sort of question.. Didn’t he realize that Namek had been destroyed a long time ago? Rumor has it that a rogue robot went off on some sort of rampage and blew it up.
“Trust me, if I could return.. I would. But my home was destroyed a long time ago. Have you not seen any other of my kind around here? I had assumed that most of them moved here…”

The Saiyan offered a nod, he couldn’t tell what kind of misunderstanding they’ve had with their village but they probably had their reasons. He knew a few things about it, thinking about it, after all a similar thing had happened to him when he was not even born. But such lead him to live on Earth.
"I suppose this planet became his new home after a bit, just like it happened to me. Even if I was actually born here." - he thought to himself.
Though, what the Namekian said shortly after was rather curious, had he not heard about the news? Cornatto couldn’t be sure himself, but he heard about the planet Namek being ‘restored’ out of nowhere while he was taking a stroll in the city.
“Uh.. Actually, it was restored apparently. Don’t ask me, but that TV of some sorts spoke of how they found the planet there once more. As if it had never exploded. I can’t tell how it was restored, even if I thought about something, but apparently Namek is still a thing.” - he told him.

The Namek’s eyes widened, his face contorting into an amalgamation of shock and joy. Cornatto had just hit him with a bombshell of information.. His home, Planet Namek. It was back? And it was all over the news? Had he been living underneath a rock for the past couple of months? More than likely so. He had piled himself with tons and tons of research and minimal training, keeping himself away from most of civilization for the most part. Now that he actually thought about it, he hadn’t taken a single look at any sort of news or had contact with but a select few people over the past year.
“Y-you.. You can’t be serious, right? Namek was brought back? You’re saying.. that my home still exists..?”
Gnash’s voice had become a higher pitch than before, his yellow eyes transfixed on Cornatto. He could feel the overwhelming sense of pure happiness surging throughout his giant green body. To have thought that all of his people.. His family were dead this entire time. Having thought this for a considerable amount of time, it wasn’t unreasonable for the large Namek to be moved to tears.
“Cornatto.. You’ve somehow managed to put me further into your debt. You do realize that you have just told me that my family.. My home.. It is still alive and thriving?” He took several steps forward, reaching his arm out to place his hand upon Cornatto’s shoulder. “I hope what you have told me is true. I will NEVER forget this, Cornatto. Thank you. I need to go, now..”
While Gnash wasn’t a naive little kid, this definitely sparked his curiosity. He couldn’t help but feel the need to go back home and get his space pod working again. All he has ever wanted was to be surrounded by family, and if what Cornatto had said was true.. His family was still alive. If there was even a one percent chance that Cornatto was right, he had to take that chance. He could very well end up in the void of space due to how damaged he remembered his space-pod being… But it was worth it. Family was worth it.
White energy washed over Gnash’s hulking frame as he jumped off of the ground, soaring into the air away from Cornatto. He turned around in mid-air, raising his arm to offer a friendly good-bye to his new friend. This man not only saved his life today.. But he changed it. If he ever returned to Earth, he knew the first person he’d go and see. “Thank you, Cornatto.”

The Saiyan offered a nod in agreement with his first statement, he could not assure if Namek was truly there but that’s what everyone was talking about around the city, last time he took a walk there at least.
“Yeah, I do. But you don’t really owe me anything, just go ahead and have fun with your family.. and train, of course.” - he let out a chuckle, nodding once more.
The Namekian seemed friendly enough, but Cornatto knew that he could trust him, how could he not after all of that? At least he knew that he had one more friend he could trust out there, and one less enemy on his homeworld.
He watched him fly away, raising a hand and waving as the two took different ways. The Saiyan himself took off and flew away, in the opposite direction. “Well, well.. time to train a bit before lunch..” - he said to himself.
