The prophet's body was a statue, completely fortified inside and out. His veins had turned to steel, his body had frozen completely. And he dreamed once more, as he had done the night before. And the prophet saw visions of turmoil, of calamity and malice.
Helix was falling down the throat of the eternal dragon once more, except this time he did not emerge in the oceans of namek. He simply kept tumbling. The guru was buffeted back and forth by the tenacious thrashing of the beast, each turbulent twist terrifying the namek. Seeking solace, he called out the names of his disciples, but his words simply echoed up and down the massive black windpipe of the beast, growing louder and louder, more and more shrill until they pervaded every crevice of the namekian's body vibrating him, ravaging him, tearing his flesh. The guru shrieked out in desperation, a plea for help. His cries of pain worsened the situation: magnifying the twanging agony that skittered through his body. There was nobody to save him. The walls of the beast's throat began to shrink, closer and closer. The echoes of his screams were distorted, taking on a malicious tone, becoming increasingly devilish with each repetition. The shrieks became more and more diabolical, until they were cackles of sadistic glee. The namekian contorted, lashing out, attempting with all of his might to break free of the dragon's throat. He clawed viciously at the walls as he tumbled, hoping to pierce the godly being but it was no use. He was powerless to escape the ordeal now that it had began. Helix began to sob as the endless churning of the holy dragon tossed him about like a ragdoll; the beast appeared to be no more happy with the events occurring than Helix was, but both were impuissant to bring the unfolding events to a halt. With every second, the namekian fell deeper and deeper, worsening the situation. Just as the broken prophet was about to give up hope, he was in the ocean once more. Exhausted and unable to stay afloat, the guru sunk to the bottom of the namekian sea, swallowed by the shifting sand.
And then a hand. A benevolent, beautiful hand reaching out to him. The ocean was gone. Light flooded Helix's field of vision. And he awoke.
Anyone watching must have noted that the appearance of the namekian vastly shifted in those brief moments after his vision. His previous near comatose state had left him tense as stone, but now he softened, melting back into a more lax cross legged position. He coiled slightly, twitching and shaking before regaining his breathing. Thoughts floated through his head, but did not formulate into words or actions.
Helix took a deep breath, regaining his mental composure, and opened his eyes.

"That Namekian... Still meditating..."
The Guardian stared at his visitor from across the Lookout. The green mystic had been here for nearly the whole day; showing up hours ago to watch Shenron's summoning, but simply watching from afar. Everyone else had left long ago, but not the Namekian. Bing would have awakened him, but he seemed to be meditating. He was clearly troubled by something, as his meditating posture was a very unnatural one.
The sun slowly began setting, signaling the end of the day was soon to approach. Bing peered inside the temple; his bed wasn't far, and he was quite tired. Should he retire for today and leave the Namekian to his own devices? No, that would be incredibly rude. He decided instead to wait. No matter how long it would take, he'd be right here.
After an hour, the Namekian finally changed positions. He sat upright, took a deep breath, and opened his eyes.
Bing smiled.
The Guardian approached the Namekian, bowing formally as he arrived in front of the Namekian. "Greetings, Namekian. I hope you'll be glad to hear your planet and its people have been restored."

The first thing that the namekian noticed was that the sky was naturally dark now. It had been early afternoon when he arrived. How long had he been here? The vision appeared to last only for a fleeting moment, and yet hours had gone by.
The second thing Helix noticed was... the person standing right in front of him. Helix felt a twinge of shock, and shouted out, surprised by the presence of another and a bit shaken after his vision.
"Zounds!"
Helix recovered his composure and chuckled good naturedly at his own at his skittish nerves. He apologetically informed the bowing stranger that he was a bit shaken at the moment.
The prophet was immediately greeted with news of nameks revival, and color returned to his paling complexion. Sure enough, the guru felt it in his heart. His people had returned! And wait just a moment. The strange looking man was… The orchestrator of the shenron summoning! The namekian barely had time to contemplate the meaning of his vision when he was already sucked into a conversation.
"So you did it with your dragon balls? You restored namek?" He laughed gleefully. "Father is benevolent! what have we sinful nameks done to deserve such good fortune?" Helix was grinning ear to ear, and looked away, trying to wipe the goofy expression on his face. His joy was simply radiating. "Oh, by the way, the name for me is Helix Crust. I am namekian refugee, and a scholar." The idea of introducing himself as a religious leader or legendary guru never even passed the jubilant namekian's mind. "I saw that you were the one who was doing the handling of the dragon balls, yes?" He shook his head, chuckling once more. "Skillful and straightforward! But surely you are not the creator of the balls?"

Bing stared curiously at the Namekian as he jumped in surprise. It seemed he hadn't expected to be greeted so suddenly. The Namekian explained he was a bit shaken, which was understandable. "I see. The sight of Shenron was quite the spectacle; I wouldn't expect anyone to be able to watch without becoming awestruck." He chuckled lightly, remembering that he too got a bit of stage fright when the dragon revealed itself.
At the mention of Nameks revival, a barrage of words flowed from the Namekian. He asked questions, reveled in the fact that his people returned, and introduced himself all at the same time. Bing nodded as he began to speak. "Yes, we restored your planet. I'm glad to see you so excited for your people's return." He bowed once more as the Namekian introduced himself. "It's an honor to meet you, Helix. My name is Bing Gan: I am the Guardian of Earth."
The Namekian's excitement knew no bounds; as one would expect, of course. His planet had been revived, who wouldn't be excited!
Helix posed a question; asking if Bing was the one who summoned Shenron. "Indeed, that was me. I've been studying the Dragon Balls since I've become Guardian in hopes of using them one day... Luckily, I was able to use them for something of worth." Helix continued, pointing out there was no way Bing could have been the one to create the orbs. The Guardian nodded somberly, explaining the situation. "Sadly, yes... My predecessor, Scargot, was a Namekian like yourself. He created the Dragon Balls before I became his student, but when he made me his successor he suddenly disappeared... Yet his Dragon Balls remained. It leads me to believe he's still nearby... Guiding me like he used to." He turned to the sky, a smile appearing on his face.
After a moment, he returned his attention to Helix. "Well, now that your planet has returned I presume you'll want to go home, no? I have a spacepod you can use if you wish." He grabbed a pouch from his belt, grabbing a capsule from within its leathery folds. He jiggled it around as he continued. "It's not going to be last you more than a single use, however; it was pretty banged up when I found it, but it'll certainly get you home."
As he waited for an answer, he couldn't help but feel like simply sending the boy on his way alone would be a bad idea. His eyes had a hint of worry as he stared at the capsule. "Should I?... Perhaps, but I'll see his reaction first."

"No, it's an honor to meet you, summoner of Shenron." Helix laughed good naturedly and stretched, pushing up to one knee before heaving himself up to a standing position. The guardian of earth! So he was like the elder guru of this planet. And a scholar of the dragon balls like himself. The guardian continued, accounting that the previous guardian of the planet was a namekian, which explained the presence of dragon balls.
And then the guardian wondered if Helix wanted to return to namek. The guru smiled fondly, nostalgic of the planet, but something felt unfinished. The prophet stood waiting for a moment.
"I too am a scholar of the dragon balls, and an ardent one at that. Seeing them work has been truly phenomenal, even if the eternal dragon of earth is quite different from Namek's own father. In fact, when I return, I believe the duty will fall to me to make new dragon balls for the planet." Helix then addressed the question. "Although I'm eager to return to the fatherland, there are feelings in me that tell me that there are matters here that still need resolving."
"Have you spoken with the previous elder guru of Namek through telepathy? I have been singled out as the next in his lineage by my people, and will likely have to attempt to fill his shoes when I return home." Helix chuckled and shrugged. "It will be something of a struggle, I'm rather weak compared to the gurus of time past."

As Helix declined the Spacepod, Bing couldn't help but feel relieved. His senses told him something sinister awaited Helix on Namek, but the Guardian simply chalked up his fears to being over-protective of people. He quickly pocketed the capsule, ignoring the banged up pod for the time being. Bing's brow arched in curiosity. Apparently Shenron was not the same entity that resided in Namek's Dragon Balls. How many other Eternal Dragons were there? Did every planet have their own dragon, simply waiting to be summoned?
The Guardian replied in a quizzical tone. "You say that Namek's Dragon is different? Are there any other differences between the balls and the dragon connected to them?" Bing brought a curious hand up to his chin, scratching it as he fell deep into thought. He spoke his mind as he ran through possible options. "I assume the Dragon of Namek is mightier than ours, due to being created by Mystics who I can only assume are or were much more attuned to the spiritual arts. But perhaps he can grant more wishes? I don't know the extent of Shenron's power, but there has to be a limit somewhere, right? I couldn't simply wish to erase events from existence or something ridiculous like that..."
Bing suddenly came back to reality, apologizing profusely to his new friend. "I'm so sorry, Helix. I got a bit sidetracked." He folded his arms before continuing. "Now, you were saying that you still had much to learn, yes? And you think you'll be the one to recreate Namek's Dragon Balls? I can teach you what I've learned in my short time as Guardian, but sadly I do not know the process to creating Dragon Balls."
Helix then posed a question; it was something Bing had not even thought about doing. He shook his head in response. "Sadly no, I haven't. Namek had been destroyed shortly after I succeeded my Sensei, so I didn't have much time to do so. However, I did go to Namek once. I met a Namekian named Salti who was planning on succeeding the Guru at the time. To my knowledge, Salti left before he could inherit the role, so whoever Guru was before the planet was destroyed should still be the same person, right? If you know who he was, perhaps you can help me locate his Ki, and we can converse with him!"
(Not my best post. My Apologies.)

Helix attentively watched the body language of the earthling. He appeared to be slightly relieved that Helix was not going right back to namek. He subsequently pondered the dragon balls, and their respective dragons, guessing correctly that the Namekian dragon balls held far greater power then those tended to by Shenron. In a flight of philosophy, he pondered the nature of wishing, and to what extent the dragons held power over the universe. Helix chuckled slightly, shrugging his shoulders at the questions. "You'd be right to assume that the dragon balls of Namek can hold much greater power then the ones on this planet, provided they are created by a skilled elder. The Shenron of earth is a younger brother of the elder Porunga, blessed be he. Father porunga presides over namek continually, lending a benevolent watchful eye to it's people. You would likely find his appearance incredible and rather queer, considering the looks of the dragon on this planet!" Helix laughed, scratching the back of his head nervously, translating the lineage of the dragons into terms that an earthling could empathize with. He did not want to bring up the relations and visions that he had with Father, it would make for bad conversation. Bing apologized for his sidetracking of the conversation, and shifted the focus to the impeding burden of Guruship to soon fall on Helix's shoulders. He offered to teach him some of the tricks of the trade, albeit admitting that he was clueless when it came to dragon ball creation himself. Helix was leaning forward slightly, seemingly interested in the prospect. "In terms of the dragon balls, I likely know as much as, if not more than, any other scholar on namek, save for the actual creation process itself. However, I would be infinitely grateful if you could spare to teach me a few things concerning guardianship. While I have studied long hours and spoken to countless masters, my physical abilities and awareness leave a bit to be desired." Helix chuckled, stretching out the skin on his brownish arm flesh patches, as if that would demonstrate that he was out of shape. The guardian responded to his inquiry about the nature of his telepathic communication with the current elder guru. Helix's good natured attitude shifted to a slightly more somber frequency. "Alas, I afear that the current elder guru is withering away, if not dead… However, It could likely do us well to attempt to make some sort of contact with him, an endeavor which I will whole heartedly assist with, should you choose to pursue it." The elder guru would likely be overjoyed at hearing from Helix, as they had previously been good friends, but the prophet was reluctant. There was a significant chance that the guru was dead, and Helix's emotions would rather leave the cat in the box, so to speak. Although the guru would likely disclose vital dragon ball information, he knew nothing that Helix could not likely discern himself from avid disciphering of the ancient texts, should he gain access to the guru's library. Lusca come join the fun!

A green hand reached over the edge of the floor, slowly pulling up its owner up past the final rung of the ladder and onto the Lookout proper itself. The Namekian stood there for a while, her hands resting on her knees as she took this opportunity to catch her breath, looking around at what was up here. She could see rows of trees and several plants, as well as a building that looked like a palace off to her left. Lusca looked around a little more before spotting two figures talking together, a human and a Namekian in robes.
It looked like they were in the middle of a deep conversation, and given how the Dragon Caste could get when it came to their conversations, the Namekian Warrior decided to just sit down for the time being and not interrupt them, instead deciding to try and recover herself after that gruelling climb. Lusca was tempted to peer over the edge of this massive edifice, but was also sorely tempted to not fall over the edge right now. She didn't particularly feel like trying to climb back up that pillar any time soon.

Bing smiled as Helix explained Namek's dragon was indeed normally stronger. "Just as I thought! It only makes sense that the elders who've trained for it their whole lives would make stronger Dragon Ball! The Guardian frowned, stammering a bit as he continued. "T-that isn't to say my predecessor wasn't great! Scargot was a great teacher, it's just that the elder's of Namek probably know more, y'know?" He mentally berated himself for sounding like such an idiot. It must have been clear to Helix now that the Guardian wasn't the best at his job just yet. The Namekian went on to explain that the two dragons had drastically different looks to them, which was intriguing. "Very interesting indeed..."
Helix continued, saying he wished to learn as much as he could about the Dragon Balls. Bing nodded happily, beginning to explain how he could help. "Alright! I can teach you the art of self defense, as well as any mystical abilities I know; such as Healing others and Telepathic Communication. Hopefully that helps you along!" He pointed his behind himself towards the large palace before continuing. "I also have a massive library in the temple. It has journals and tomes written by previous Guardian's and their Understudies. I know all I do about Dragon Balls thanks to that library; perhaps you can find some information that I have yet to come across?"
Before the conversation continued, Bing could sense another warrior approaching. Like Helix, the Ki felt very peaceful; another Namekian perhaps? He turned, waiting for the warrior to reveal themselves. Soon enough, he saw green hands grasp onto the edge of the Lookout. The Namekian hoisted... Herself up? Bing had to do a double-take when he saw the green woman. He thought all Namekians were male -or at the very least, genderless. He decided not to mention it though; whatever it was that was different about this one, it might be a touchy subject.
"Apologies, Helix. I must attend to our new guest before we continue our conversation."
He approached the girl, bowing respectfully to her. "Greetings Namekian. My name is Bing Gan; Guardian of the Earth. I presume you are here for a similar reason to my friend here? You must have noticed the summoning of the dragon as well. You'll be pleased to hear that your home planet has returned." As he waited for the Namekian's response, he noticed her breathing was somewhat ragged. "Would you like some water, friend? I can get you some from inside the temple if needed." Should the Namekian accept the offer of a fresh drink, Bing would use the After-Image technique to quickly blink across the Lookout.
He'd return with a glass of water quickly, offering her the moderately sized wooden cup filled with rejuvenating liquid. The Guardian would wait for her to speak, but if she asked no questions, Bing would turn to Helix and speak.
"Now, let us continue, Helix. You said that your Guru is soon to pass, yes? If we combine our Ki Sensing abilities together, we should be able to pinpoint his life force; if he's still alive that is." He turned to Lusca before continuing. "With your help, it should be even easier. Do you both know how to sense Ki?"

Helix chuckled lightly when bing seemed to confuse himself, and shrugged. He empathized with the guardian, they both didn't have so much experience yet, he supposed. Helix had to meet this Scargot, the namekian artisan of this planet's dragon balls. The guardian offered to teach Helix self defense, and various other mystical skills. "I am actually already proficient in healing! It is sort of a 'namekian thing,' if you know what I am meaning!" He laughed. "But I would certainly be grateful for any assistance you would venture to extend in the realm of training, mystical or otherwise." Helix was also deeply intrigued by the mention of the library, and his goofy grin probably conveyed his interest quite well. "I would be honored to spend some time in the library, if you would provide me that privilege!"
Bing and Helix shared a moment of unspoken communication as they both sensed the distinctly namekian power level, and concurrently raised their eyebrows and slightly cocked their heads. They turned over to it's source, and sure enough, a green arm grappled onto the ledge, and hoisted it's owner up onto the glistening white tiles. Helix raised his brows at the sight of the namekian. He had spent long enough on earth to know what an earth woman looked like. Was this an earth woman dressed up as a namekian? No, the ki was genuinely pure bred namekian. Helix nodded as he walked over to the new arrival alongside the guardian. Helix was too distracted to hear what Bing was saying, his eyes curiously locked on the namekian. "Hello," he finally decided to speak, cracking a kind smile. "I am Helix Crust."
His focus was broken as the guardian continued their earlier conversation. He suggested that they all combine their Ki sense to lock onto the signature of the Guru. Helix shuddered, hoping that he wasn't already deceased. "Yes, that would likely prove successful, should he still be in the realm of the living."

When the human approached her, she steadily got to her feet and repeated the bow he had given her, albeit a little deeper. "I did sir. Although I am disheartened to say I didn't get to witness the dragon itself, the portents of its summoning were clear to be seen." replied Lusca, giving a smile at the mention of what the Wish had been used for. When he offered her a drink, she gave a nod. "That would be most-" she began to say before he seemed to vanish and then reappear with the water, "-gratifying." Lusca finished, offering a bow of her head in thanks before she accepted the cup and took a small mouthful of the refreshing liquid within, ignoring the gaze that the Dragon Caste Namekian was giving her.
"If I may presume to ask, and it is not out of turn... what is this place? Given the challenge of the tower... Well, I'm not certain what I was expecting." she inquired before nodding at the Dragon Caste when he introduced himself. "I am called Lusca." was her reply before the human, this Guardian Bing, suggested that she lend her help with trying to locate the Namekian Guru if at all possible. "I... do know how to sense Ki yes, but I've never attempted anything like what you're proposing... I'm not certain how much use a Warrior Caste like myself would be for this task." said Lusca before she shrugged her shoulders. "But if it is for the sake of locating the Grand Elder Guru, then I shall help in this task. Tell me what I must do." she said nodding at the Guardian and the Dragon Caste.

Helix CrustBing chuckled as the Namekian asked what the Lookout was. He was surprised that the girl was unaware, as he presumed that all Namekians were aware of the Lookout. "You see Lusca, this is a place known as the Timeless Lookout. It is where the current Guardian of Earth watches over the entire planet, making sure no immense evil befalls the world. From what I can tell, a handful of Guardian's have been Namekians, much like yourselves!" He turned, listening to Helix as he accepted Bing's training offer. The Guardian nodded, an excited tone in his voice as he spoke. "Wonderful! We'll begin training soon enough, but first..."The two Namekians agreed to assisting Bing, though Lusca seemed confused as to how she could be of assistance. Bing offered the woman his hand; offering the other hand to Helix as well. He explained to them what was about to happen. "Well... I believe if we sync up our spirits, we can stretch our Ki Sensing abilities across the galaxy to your homeworld. I can already sense Namek from here, but with your help I might be able to sense specific people!"He waited for the duo to grasp his hands, hoping they would understand his idea.

The prophet couldn't help but grin at the newcomers somewhat apathetic response towards his attempts at familiarity. He, or she, he supposed, was evidently rugged, but somewhat uncertain. He chuckled to himself. She would be a tough nut to crack!
The guardian continued to prattle off details concerning the lookout. The namekian looked around the large monument once more. He was actually growing quite fond of it.
Helix was taken aback at the guardian's mystical prowess. He could sense namek all the way from here? Bing certainly possessed mystic powers beyond helix's own, but probably nothing comparable to the skill of the grand elder. Still, his abilities were seemingly impressive, and helix sighed with relief that he had indeed accepted training from the generous guardian. Perhaps he would learn a bit more than how to fight!
Helix stepped forward. "No use wandering around it I suppose. This shall be the moment of the truth!" He chuckled, internally nervous that the guru was already dead. If he was alive, he would certainly be able to lead their collective force to his location.
The minute the prophet grasped the hands of the namekian and the guardian, he would be overwhelmed with a rush of pure, aqueous energy. It would soon become obvious that every member of the circle was almost exceptionally pure of heart. He would begin to trust the other two more immediately.
Helix would speak gently. "Well then, let us begin the search. If you would lead us, dear guardian of great?" The guru would shut his eyes and let his energy dilute and mingle with the other's.

She nodded at his explanation of what this place was and its purpose. "I see... that would make sense. Although it must be irksome having to climb up and down the tower each time you wanted to travel." mused the Namekian warrior. When the Guardian of Earth explained how they would go about performing the feat he desired, she had a moment of hesitation, especially when she saw the Dragon Caste reaching for her hand in turn.
She knew that Namekians could fuse in order to become much stronger, but that one of them would effectively cease to exist in the physical realm. And with the Guardian's suggestion of them all synching up their spirits and energies in order to achieve this interstellar sensing... there was a possibility that she could... Lusca shook her head and looked at the pair of them before she first took hold of the humans hand, then hesitating before she took the Dragon Caste Namekian's hand in her other.
There's a human involved as well, so there's no chance of us fusing, even by accident. thought the Warrior Caste Namekian to herself as she focused on stretching her Ki senses as far as possible.

As Bing felt the two Namekians grasp his hands, he closed his eyes. "Just... Focus your Ki on one thought... Namek." Slowly, an aura of Ki enveloped the trio, and it began to blaze brightly. With the three of them working together, Bing was able to accurately feel individual Ki signatures; even the wildlife of the planet across the galaxy was easily sensed by the Guardian. His eyes shut tighter as his mind raced towards finding the Elder Guru, or at the very least his replacement.
In their minds, both of the Namekian's would suddenly hear Bing speak. He was using telepathy to communicate; a helpful tool in cross-planet conversation. His voice was worried as he scoured the vast plains of the Maima Region. "Come on... You must be here somewhere... Perhaps in Moori Capitol?... No... Grand Elder Village..."Bing's mind raced towards the Elder Guru's village, where he could sense the Ki of two very interesting individuals. A Young Namekian child( Milac ) and a Namekian born from another world( Rock ). Both of them had such different Ki compared to their brethren, but he could tell they had good intentions. He ignored the two for the time being, and moved his mind towards the largest building in the village. Inside the dim house rested a large Namekian. Bing smirked as he began to make contact. "Guru... Elder Guru? This is Bing Gan; Guardian of Earth. I'm speaking to you along with two Namekian's. One known as Helix, the other Lusca... Introduce yourselves you two!"The Guru opened his large eyes as he heard the voice intrude on his thoughts. At first he was worried, but with the mention of Bing's role on Earth, he smiled. "Ahh, the new Guardian of Earth... It is a shame to hear that Scargot has already been succeeded, but I am more than glad to hear his replacement's voice already." He pondered on the name Helix, before responding again. "Helix... Helix Crust? I haven't heard of that boy in... Ages." A smile grows on his face. "How are you my lad?... And Lusca was it? An honor to meet you as well, though I cannot actually see any of you."
