[Heavy Weights EQUIP]
As his pod landed softly on the barren soil of the Vegetan Wastes, the tiny Basil opened up the hatch of the space craft and clamored out. He had cleverly kept his back to the Makyo Star until the demonic waves of radiation ceased to affect his body, but every joint and bone in his body ached like crazy from his forced transformation, trying to fit inside the pod with an over ten foot tall body with the Mighty Mallet in tow. Luckily, his weighted cloak was made from a highly flexible and durable material and didn't rip to shreds upon the change. Refusing to look at the Star for now to let his bones and muscles rest, he walked around the wastes stamping his foot seemingly at random until he felt a hollow point in the soil with his toes through his boot. Dropping to his hands and knees he began to dig for a few moments until he uncovered his old home, the site that had integrated him into the folklore of young Saiyans as the ''demon of the wastes''. The hole in the ground was fairly large, and opened up into a large cave. His campfire was still there, which made him smile toothily, as well as his cold-storage stash of fruit which was pretty hard to come by on Vegeta. With their high-protein red meat diets, Saiyans didn't care much for the sale and trade of produce with the exception of a few acquired palettes. Crawling back into the cave he rested against the far wall, igniting what was left of the aged wood in the fire with a small blast of dark cyan ki. Folding his arms as he began to relax (and pleased that the smoke was tunneling out of the path he had dug to get in, same as the old days), he reached into his cold storage and plucked out an apple, taking a big toothy chomp.
He fumbled with it after bringing it away from his mouth, forgetting about the increased pull of gravity on the planet. He had gotten used to it back then, but it caught him by surprise now. As he reached for his delicious apple and scuffed the soil from it and took another bite, he heard the padding of boots near his home, and what's more, near his pod. Tunneling out some dirt above the fire to redirect the smoke, he crawled back out of the tunnel just far enough to poke his head out, seeing a young, curious, and seemingly ill-tempered Saiyan investigating his pod. As soon as he opened the hatch and went to step inside, Basil popped out full force like a mole, pointing an accusing finger after firing a warning shot with his free hand. ''Hey, jerk! Leave that alone! What's mines is mines, y'hear!?'' He was answered by return fire from not only that Saiyan, but two more that rushed in after hearing the commotion. It was a hunting party, it looked like, and far removed from any of the cities or villages of Vegeta. Perfect; no interruptions. As the three Saiyans stepped closer in a triangle formation, each powering a blast of differing color, the pod thief smirked after dialing in Basil's power level on his Scouter. With his weights on, he was laughable to them. ''So, runt. I'll be taking your pod after we turn you into ash on the wind. Any last words? As if I should even afford you that.'' Basil looked to his sweet, sweet Red Moon, lifting his hand. A thread of deep red energy snaked down the tips of his fingers, spiraling around his arm. ''Ohhh...just one.'' ''And that is?''
This was gonna hurt.
''PESTO!''
Coiling his arms into a bodybuilder's under-arm flex, his stature shot up as his voice turned from shrill screech to hoarse roar. As his fangs elongated and he grew to over ten feet tall, his muscles exploded in size, bulking his frame to ridiculous proportions. He was now a giant among Saiyans, and his power increased eight-fold to match. The primary thief began to panic as his Scouter's readout climbed higher and higher still. He barely had time to gasp before Basil's gigantic fist smashed into his face, breaking his nose on impact and sending him tumbling across the wastes. The other two fired their blasts, grilling a small scuff into either side of his shoulders. It wasn't anything that would last, but the attempt was irritating, as well as the small sting that accompanied the attacks. Turning and stomping slowly after the two, he broke into a charge while they stood their ground and executed a charging double lariat, tackling both with his massive forearms before flinging them away and against each other. As he moved to pursue, the previous Saiyan with the broken nose clung onto his back, arms around the giant's neck, presumably trying to choke him down. Reaching behind and gripping him by his shoulder, he heaved him forward and slammed him into the ground. Soil exploded at the point of impact, but he wasn't done yet. Lifting the dizzied young Saiyan up, he raised his knee and performed a brutal back-breaker before chucking his limp body to his friends. He'd made sure to leave him alive; he wasn't trying to incite a bigger problem down the road.
''Y-you can't be...it's just a story!'' Basil smirked, his large fangs toothily poking out from his lips. ''This is no nightmare, Saiyan. Flee for your life.'' The trio hurriedly scrambled to their feet, vacating as fast as they possibly could. Rolling his shoulders and getting a satisfying pop from each, he squeezed through his now hard to fit through tunnel to enjoy his fruit.
''It's good to be back. Hee hee hee...''

[Thread PL: 65,161 | Heavy Weighted Clothes Equipped! Weighted PL: 16,290] "Damn, where the hell did Rotim say this old hole was?"Xylo flew slowly across the wastes, scanning the area intently as he floated. His informant had told him of another old legend that circulated around the planet. It was said that in the past, young Saiyan warriors would test their mettle against the fabled Demon of The Wastes, and none who challenged him were victorious. Many challengers say he was a large, fearsome beast, while others say he was a minute little trickster. There were so many tales surrounding the legend, that few thought it were true, until they themselves trekked through the wastes to face him. Xylo, while interested in testing himself against the demon, was more intrigued by his usefulness as a warrior in his plan to overthrow the Queen. Should this demon prove to be truly powerful, perhaps he might recruit him. His search seemed to be fruitless, until he heard the screams of a group of Saiyan warriors. He looked down to see a trio of Saiyans running for the hills, terror etched into their faces. The Namekian descended in front of them, a curious tone in his voice as he spoke. "Saiyan's running from something? This is new... Tell me, what were the three of you running from?" The trio stayed silent for a moment, seemingly a bit embarrassed of their failure. Eventually, the wounded one spoke up. "It was the Demon of The Wastes! He's returned after all this time!" Xylo grinned. He walked towards the wounded Saiyan, placing a hand on the boys shoulder as he spoke. "Can you point me in the direction of this Demon? I'd like to challenge him myself." The three Saiyan's looked at each other, gulped, and pointed directly behind them. "H-he's back that way," the wounded one said "but you won't beat him! My scouter read his Power Level at over Twenty Thousand! There's no way you'll be able to beat him!" The Namekian's grin widened as he slapped the boys shoulder. "Thanks for the info boys. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've gotta go kick some demonic ass." A dark indigo aura surrounded the tall Namekian, and he took flight. Within only a few minutes, Xylo would find his target: Hidden within a massive hole rested an equally massive energy. It was quite powerful, even more so than Xylo with his weighted cloak on. He 'hmphed' at the thought. Perhaps this fight would be an actual challenge, unlike his brawl with Kizuki. He folded his arms across his chest as he descended, letting out a shout as he touched the ground in front of the massive hole. "Hey asshole! Are you the Demon of The Wastes I've heard so much about, or have I found a different massive hole in the ground?"

[ Thread PL: 29,517 ] [ Heavyweights On - Current Thread PL: 7,379 ] "Ah'. It's down there." Xylo would hear a voice that was all too familiar to him calling out, from a higher point on the terrain. If he were to look up, he'd notice that it was Kizuki, standing atop a large rock formation overlooking the hole in which the demon was calling his home. Kizuki would gently hop off the formation, channeling his ki to control his decent towards Xylo. Eventually, Saiyajin style boots would hit the ground as he stood next to the Namekian, arms crossed over his chest in that classic pose. "Whatever it is. I scouted a pod entering Vegeta's orbit. I just so happened to be training not too far from where it came into view." He'd point off towards another direction. "I hid my ki and followed it here. Looked harmless enough, though three Saiyajin went in after it and they all left promptly screaming for their lives."He'd turn towards Xylo with a grin, popping his neck a few times to the left and right before his arms uncrossed. He'd lower his right arm, pointing an open palm into the hole, then sparking up a bit of ki energy into his hand. The swirling orb of blue energy would spark to life, whining upon its conception. "Doesn't seem to want to answer the door. Perhaps knocking is in order?" He wouldn't fire right away, instead he waited to see if Xylo would join him in sending a few "knocks at the door" in the form of ki blasts being fired into the depths. The little beast seemed to give three Saiyajin a run for their money, though it seemed this planet housed quite a few less than worthy warriors to make note of at the moment. They could have just been lower ranks of the army, or residents of the Radittsu District. He let those coal, black eyes wander from Xylo back down towards the darkness of the hole, his ki still charging in his open palm as he spoke. "Or did you want to contact Alaistair first?" Kizuki wasn't keen on the whole telepathic message system, so he wasn't exactly sure how to reach Alaistair or Xylo with it.

After he had sent the three uppity little monkey punks packing, Basil had decided to get comfy; or at least, as comfy as his large, transformed frame would allow. He had nestled in to his cozy little hiding hole quite nicely. Sprawled back against the soft soil wall of the cave with his back and shoulders propping him up, he'd crossed his ankles and cradled his arms behind his head, stopping only long enough to unfix his hands to take swigs of his delicious citrus grog and chase it down with juicy fruit. Plucking a vine of grapes out of his cold storage, he hung the mass of twigs above his mouth between two massive fingers before chomping off a sizable portion, stick and all. Chewing the small orbs voraciously and wiping a mess from his mouth before spitting out the fragments of twig, he let his gaze fall to his fire, which thankfully was still funneling smoke pretty well. He silently reflected on the circumstances that had led him back to this planet once again; it had been so long, he surmised, that the Demon of the Wastes was beginning to fall into nothing short of a tall tale. The three young upstarts earlier had unconsciously done everything to prove it. He didn't plan to establish himself again, at least. Saiyans sought conflict, it was in their nature, and while it had been a source of entertainment in days past, now wasn't the time to invite more of said conflict to himself. He'd been seeking a crew, and a good one. He hadn't found it here, nor on Vegeta previously, which due to his recent exploits on Earth had led him to lay low and think in his home away from home.
Just as he had hit the height of his relaxation, however, a voice boomed, echoing through the long tunnel leading to his cavern. It seemed like he was being called out. Another Saiyan, maybe? Using his Scouter right now would be useless; with the terrain standing between Basil and the above ground stranger, it wouldn't be able to dial in a read. He heard him mention the Demon of the Wastes, and that was what piqued his curiosity enough to think about offering him a response. Maybe it was just easier to let him think he had the wrong address, though. Just when he considered it as an option, though, a second voice would echo through the cavern. Basil furrowed his brow, pinching the bridge of his nose with his massive index and thumb finger of his right hand, clearly frustrated. While it did begin to get on his nerves to have this much company, what annoyed him even more is what he witnessed after opening his eyes. The energetic light of what couldn't possibly be mistaken as not energy glowed to life throughout the cavern's entrance, washing down against the soil and barely breaching the entrance of his hideout, as crude of one as it was. Who did these two jokers think they were!? If they were insisting on knocking, though, he'd have to oblige by answering the door.
In his mind, though, following the skirmish with a few Saiyan bandits, he would assume the ones invading his space were the same. It was time to clean house. Agitated by the invading light at his doorstep, he patted his muscled abdomen, feeling nice and full of flavorful grog and fruit in his downtime. Slowly rising to his feet in his massive frame granted to him by the Red Moon, he chuckled quietly. He wouldn't make the exit the perpetrators would expect; oh no. Standing proud and tall at full height, he sank his fists near his hips, crouching low as he began to summon his ki. His dark cyan aura began to scream forth, ripping apart the soil around him; flecks of dirt and dust combined themselves into a localized whirlwind around his body. The Red Moon had a way of changing his persona. While he remained mischievous and even a little soft without it, once drenched with its power he became what all demons strived to be; he was merciless, and enjoyed flaunting his unlocked potential. Standing tall at a sudden instant, his aura would explode, detonating the cavern he called home. Standing in the hollow of his home, he would perform a mighty leap to reach the surface, slamming down with all several hundred pounds of his weight, standing at well over ten feet tall. As he landed upon the surface, he set his eyes upon two peculiar opponents. One, a slug-man, familiar as to the one he'd fought before on Earth. The other, another uppity Saiyan. Still in his weighted cloak and leaving his Scouter behind, he entertained the thought of gauging their merit.
Twisting his neck sharply without a word of greeting, the satisfying yet sickening pop would be the only greeting he would offer. Sizing up both of his would-be opponents, his dark cyan aura cloaked him in a brutish fashion as he glanced from one to the other, unsure of which one he would entertain and brutalize first; he looked forward to taking down the more bold of the pair first. Having exited his lair and likely with his bulk and height catching the two by surprise, he'd already made a guessing game of which one had the gall to challenge him before the other could. The most satisfying fact, however, was that he was still in his cloak; he knew full well that if he were to ditch it to the Vegetan soil, the output of his power would reach nearly one hundred thousand.
''Come to throw down with the Demon of the Wastes, have we? Consider the door answered!''
He sized up the both of them as his form hunched forward slightly in a defensive oriented posture, his fists clenching and tightening as he awaited either one of them to make their move. He was outnumbered...
But he was earlier, too.

Xylo didn't wait long for a response, but the one who answered was not the person he expected. Kizuki had arrived on the scene, explaining he was simply in the neighborhood doing some training. The Namekian smirked at his ally, watching as the Saiyan landed near him and the hole. "Funny. I happened upon the same trio of terrified Saiyan's. In hindsight, I probably should have sent the three blubbering idiots to oblivion before they could go get help, but I doubt anyone will believe them if they try."
The duo stood outside the hole for a few more moments in silence, until Kizuki finally spoke up. He raised his hand, charging up a Ki orb to blast into the makeshift home. Xylo brought up his own hand, opting to join in on this violent form of knocking. As the duo charged their energy, Xylo turned to Kizuki, responding to his question with an annoyed tone in his voice. "We don't need Alaistair for this one. He'll just interrupt again; where's the challenge in that?"
Just as Xylo was about to fire off a few pot-shots, he sensed the demons energy rising from within. The ground shook violently for a moment, nearly causing the Namekian to lose his balance. Suddenly, a massive explosion came from within the cavern, destroying it from inside as the owner leapt from his home. The demon landed on the opposite side, standing at a menacing height which towered over even Xylo, who stood at 6'6.
Xylo folded his arms across his chest as he looked the demon over. He was certainly powerful, but something about him seemed... Restrained. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but it seemed like the Demon of The Wastes was holding back somewhat. Perhaps he was using weighted clothing? Xylo wasn't sure, but he was going to be careful, just in case.
"I must thank you for sparing the lives of those three weaklings. Had you slain them we might not have found you as quickly."
The Mazoku Warrior turned to Kizuki, arching a brow in curiosity as he posed a question. "So, you wanna take him? It'll be over pretty quickly if I go at him, so if you want to take a crack at him I suggest you go first."

He'd feel the sudden rumbling of the ground around them and before long, the monstrosity held up in the hole, or what was left of it, had exploded out to make his appearance to the duo. Kizuki would watch with arms crossed against his chest, arching a brow at what was before him. "Hnn. That isn't what I saw before." He'd kept a careful gaze over the beast as Xylo addressed, unable to properly grasp the power emanating from it. As the ten foot tall demon declared himself, Kizuki couldn't help but smirk. "Heh'.. another demon? Must be Alaistair's son or something." As Xylo had offered him first shot, Kizuki was all too happy but to oblige. In reality, he would've gone first regardless of the offer. Eyes narrowed at the much larger being, as he took a defensive stance.
Arms would uncross, and rest at his sides, bent at the elbow with hands clenched into fists. "I suppose I'll leave something left for you." He'd regard the Namekian without looking at him. He'd cause the ground to tremble a bit himself, but this was nothing compared to what he was fully capable of without his own weighted clothing on. As the dried earth shook and began to crack, it was as if his own power, his aura, erupted from the ground under them, coming up from his feet to envelop his whole body in a swirl of pure, blue ki energy. With his body powered up, he'd expose his teeth with a growl and would launch himself forward towards this new enemy!
A flurry of punches were sent at the direction of the demon, moving at quite the pace but still slow in regards to his own full power. Damn this weighted clothing! If he were to just discard the armor, boots, and gloves.. but then how would he be able to catch up with Xylo? And even Alaistair? He did what he could to push the distractions out of his mind, doing his best to break the defenses of Basil with his weighted fists and feet, even working to push him back some if possible. The demon definitely had some sort of edge over the Saiyajin, he could feel it in the way his onslaught didn't do much to break through. Staying in the air proved to be a chore as well, the armor being the heaviest of his attire. Kizuki would go for a final combination of rights and lefts to the face before pivoting in the air and crashing the point of his elbow into the top of Basil's head with everything he had!

After his appearance at the surface, the two fighters he came across seemed appalled, and almost surprised, at his appearance. This was clearly not what they were expecting. After he had postured up, due to past experience, he expected the slug-man to try and prove a point by charging in first. As it turned out, he was proven wrong. It seemed his first challenge would fall onto the shoulders of his Saiyan friend, and Saiyans were a common opponent to Basil. He'd fought plenty. They were always prideful, and had plenty to try and prove. After the Saiyan's cocky remark of ''leaving something'' for his buddy, he knew full and well then and there that he'd have to toss this maggot a good beating to put him in his place, knocking him down a few pegs. While he couldn't sense his power, he could try and gauge it through a good, old fashioned throw down. He was confident his power would win out in the struggle; the Red Moon hadn't failed him yet. The curious thing about Saiyans, for all their pride and warrior culture, was that they were always flying a bit too close to the sun. They loved to take on any challenge presented, without forming a game plan and using their smarts before their brawn. Through his upbringing as a Makyan, Basil had learned to use both in equal and fair measure. He smirked as he observed the Saiyan's display of power, a pure blue aura surfacing around the being's body as he prepared for combat. Basil kept up his defensive posture, shifting his legs and feet to allow him an easier shift of position. With his massive muscular frame holding like a sentinel, he would observe the Saiyan, preparing for his assault. He was familiar with Saiyan combat tactics; what they lacked in form and finesse, they made up with by cutting corners and exerting brute force. His current form was able to answer in kind.
As the assault came in quick fashion, Basil focused his defenses on the punches. In a combat situation, punches were meant to be precise and deal real damage; kicks, on the other hand in his experience, were meant more for a surprising heavy blow. They covered a more broad area. Curling his body forward in a boxer's stance, knuckles to his own chin, he began to weave through the first of the storm of strikes. He had to admit, he was impressed. Many monkey-men he'd come across hadn't been this bold, nor this skilled. It was apparent this one had paid his dues in training. While he avoided most of the punches, tanking the ones he couldn't against his body with some light bruising, his strong, muscled shoulders would soak up the kicks. He could feel the damage of the flurry soaking in, but with a massive frame like his, there was plenty of area to damage. Kicking off of the dirt and circling around his aggressive opponent, a leg smashed against his shoulder before his gaze shifted upward, clocking in an elbow soaring for his head. Raising one massive arm to intercept in a block, he would reveal his elongated fangs in a toothy grin. This one was trying a little too hard. Intercepting the blow and bracing against the striking arm in a deadlock, he grinned.
Reeling his massive unoccupied fist back, he'd make a point to attempt to slam it right into the Saiyan's abdomen. If he managed to push him back from the blow, he'd whirl forward in a short spin, attempting to drill into him with a powerful straight to send him flying above the soil. While the slight bruises were becoming apparent, he was confident in his new massive body blessed by the Red Moon. If he managed the knock the Saiyan off balance by the blows, he'd close in and return the favors with his own flurry of high-speed punches.
''That desperation...what exactly are you trying to prove, Saiyan!? Hahahaha!''

The Saiyan immediately accepted Xylo's offer, charging his energy to its weighted peak before taking off. It was only now that Xylo realized Kizuki must not be able to sense Ki. The difference in power was immense, yet he decided to keep his weights on! Either that, or he was trying to prove himself ny defeating a stronger foe; a task he was unable to do when up against Xylo.
The two fighters immediately went at it, Kizuki being the aggressor. He tossed out a multitude of strikes, but they seemed to do little to the demon. Most of the attacks were blocked, and although a few kicks made their way past Basil's defense, they did little to harm his hulking form. The demon readied a counter-attack, which seemed like it would put quite the hurting on Kizuki should it land.
"I wonder if I should help... No. Helping him would hurt his pride more than losing would... Most likely anyways. They've only just started fighting; I'll give it a bit more time before I step in."
The Namekian hovered above the ground, ascending a bit above the battle to get a better view from all angles. Should Basil attempt to attack Xylo during this time, he'd be ready to avoid it.

It was clear that his strikes were doing very little to his massive demon opponent, if for nothing else by the way he didn't emit any grunts or groans from his attacks. In any case, that gargantuan frame proved a bit of a chore to damage, but for the most part he wasn't missing any shots. He'd feel the momentum shift suddenly, as his elbow was blocked by the sheer muscle mass of Basil's arm, causing a toothy grin to come into his line of sight. What arrogance! Though, before he could counter off that block he'd feel that massive fist get driven directly into his armored abdomen. The armor doing very little to shield the rough impact, the heavy BOOMing sound of fist against body nearly causing another hole to open up in the ground under them. Kizuki's mouth gaped open, as well as his eyes, as the air was forced directly out of his body, saliva spewing forward as he let out a groan. Then the followup happened, another fist drilling Kizuki to send him up above the ground, his body contorting in the air as he used his ki to push himself backwards, furthering the gap between them. He dared call this desperation?! Bastard! As Basil approached at an alarming rate, to which Kizuki was continuing to soar away backwards just above the ground, both gloved palms were aimed forward and in a series of flashes, several blasts of ki were aimed directly at the monster in an effort to slow him down, though Basil seemed to be able to absorb or avoid most of the shots and before he could cause any serious damage he'd find himself on the receiving end of Basil's onslaught, using his own arms to try and block the demon's punches, impacting him at such incredible speed! He was gritting his teeth, a few bullets of sweat marking his face. Incredible! For something so large to be so fast... it appeared he would need to drastically increase the toughness of his training, and soon. His arms and hands began to give in from the impact of the attacks, and in one motion the Saiyajin would have planted his feet before throwing himself down onto the ground, with his upper back touching the surface. Both arms motioned to have hands on the ground by his shoulders, cocking his legs and pushing off with his feet to try and kip up and over the demon beast, though as tall as Basil was in this form, and how weighed down Kizuki was, it would most likely prove to be quite the task.
- Basil is no joke! Kizuki is doing his best to keep up! - Kizuki threw himself on the ground and attempted to kip up and over Basil's massive body! What will happen? [ KP: 3/3 ] [ WC w/HW: 437 / TWC w/HW: 1,241 ]

Within the beginnings of the bout, Basil felt that satisfying impact; the impact of his massive knuckles boring into Saiyan mass, just like how it used to be. Even though he was quickly proving a superior opponent, it still got his blood pumping nicely. After his follow-up punch landed (he tended to favor those, his large frame made kicks somewhat awkward), he began an alarmingly fast sprint after the airborne Saiyan, his eyes narrowing at the sight of glowing blue light. Tucking his upper body inward and hunching forward using his huge arms as a shield, the blasts tagged his shoulders and biceps for the most part on both arms, causing him to grunt a small bit at the bee sting-like feeling. Smirking devilishly as he arrived at last, he littered his armored body with lightning-fast punches to return the strategy back to him he'd used earlier in kind and then some. Even if the Saiyan wasn't as strong, he was certainly clever. He'd taken a defensive stance, taking a good number of the blows to his arms, but with each hit he could feel the monkey-man's defenses begin to cave and give way. Just as Basil reeled back for a powerful hook to the jaw, he blinked in surprise as he met nothing but air. Peering down to the Saiyan who was clearly up to something, he grunted in frustration, lifting his foot and intending to stomp down right on his chest to hold him still. His massive leg and foot soaring down to squash his opponent like a bug, he sneered briefly, awaiting the feel of crunched bone.
It never came.
In what seemed like an instant, the Saiyan was airborne, and the Makyan's huge booted foot had collided with the soil which caused quite an eruption. Past that, his foot was now somewhat entrenched in thick wasteland dirt, causing him to awkwardly twist his body in an attempt to free it. Realizing he wouldn't have time for both plans of what he wanted to happen, he growled and quickly twisted his torso to the side, lashing out with an arm to attempt to snatch the monkey-man's tail as he soared through the air. Saiyans had a notorious weak spot, he had learned from experience. If you could just get your hands on their tail, they froze up like a deer in headlights. Maybe that would stop all of his hopping around? If he were successful in grasping the appendage, he'd dangle the Saiyan upside down at eye level one-handed for a brief moment as he freed his own foot with a grin that spoke ''Got'cha!'' Then give him one swift knee to the abdomen before whirling him into a nearby dirt mount by the tail at high speed, finishing off the combination with a one-handed quick volley of dark cyan ki blasts. He'd shown himself to be crafty so far; even though that was the plan, there wasn't any sort of guarantee it'd go off without a hitch.
He was quickly finding himself surprised by the duo. The slug-man had decided not to interfere and let the Saiyan have his fun, even though Basil had clearly taken an upper hand. He figured he would have jumped in to help out his buddy by now, but maybe there were more to these two strangers than he was seeing?
[After two frustrating misses and eating a bunch of ki blasts, Basil attempts a tail grab to hold Kizuki still, hoping to follow with a combination!]

"N-Nani..?!" ("W-What?!") Kizuki would shout out as the demon would reach up during his flip mid air and grab the tail coiled tightly around his waist. With a flinch, he'd feel the force of the grip begin to drain his body of any power whatsoever. It was like his guard was completely down and he got hit with an attack so hard he had nearly died. That damn tail; both a weakness and a powerful tool in the TRUE power of the Saiyajin. Unwillingly, that tail would uncoil from around his body, dangling now as Kizuki let out a roar of pain, unable to even move any other part of his body. One eye was shut from the pain, the other straining to stay open as he was brought to eye level, upside down, to hear him mock Kizuki. If it were possible to retort, Kizuki would but he would further feel pain as a knee slammed directly into his unguarded abdomen, unable to tighten his body to brace for impact though he was lucky the armor did a somewhat decent job at protecting him. Launching by his tail into a nearby mound of dirt, clumps of debris would fly up in all directions after the loud impact, his body slamming into it as if it were a corpse, with a sick THUD.
Clenching his jaw tight, covered in dirt, debris and some of his own blood he would feel the grip still on his tail. The demon's hand would fire off blasts of ki at his useless body, unable to block. Feeling each shot hit him, his body jerked violently each time. Though, through all this pain, he was beginning to focus solely on the grip on his tail, trying to work it out so that the pain would be less bearable, maybe even that the pain would completely go away. It was a common theme for elite Saiyajin to train their tails to the point of not being able to feel pain in them, a thing that had left Kizuki's body after all his time in cryo stasis.
It then occurred to him. Once Alaistair had taken the two in, they would be able to message each other telepathically. He would focus his eyesight on Xylo, who had seemed to begin to float away from the battle, possibly out of the demon's sight. "N-Not.. yet.. a-a.. little.. more.." Xylo would hear Kizuki's strained voice in his mind, using that link as The Devil's Knights were able to do. At this point, Kizuki was beginning to regain some feeling in his body, raising one bulky arm up to cover his face as the ki barrage continued. "G-Get.. something.. going.." He was hoping at this point, the demon would keep on attacking Kizuki so Xylo could charge up a sufficient attack and fire it off at him on Kizuki's call.

A satisfied smile painted the Makyan's face as he felt his hand grip fur; it seemed the Saiyan hadn't been expecting that. He was glad he caught him, or he likely would have been at a big disadvantage. As he tightened his grip and felt the monkey-man's body quickly take on the posture of a wet noodle, he'd waste no time in following up with the planned combination. After the last of the dark cyan light fired off from the palm of his hand, he would slowly begin a walking advance toward the mound of dirt he'd introduced his opponent to. He wouldn't kill him, of course. He actually had begun to respect the Saiyan's toughness and guile. Shooting another glance at the Namekian as if waiting for him to make a move, he paused his advance briefly before scrolling his eyes back to the Saiyan. As one massive booted foot followed the other, he idly scratched at a few small scabs the Saiyan's ki blasts had left on his arms and shoulders. It was hard to make out what with all the clumps of soil littering the ground and the Saiyan both, but it was probably fairly difficult for him to get up. Having felt he'd won the bout, Basil suddenly got an idea. If these two were teamed up like he could obviously figure, then maybe he could spur the slug-man into action? Saiyans always hated interference, but the Makyan didn't see much more point in beating up the Saiyan. If Kizuki were still prone, he'd attempt to grab at his tail again with both hands. Were he not prone, he would attempt a swift backhand to put him there. If he succeeded in grasping the appendage again, he'd keep a tight grip on it to immobilize the warrior for now, making sure he wasn't up to any surprise tricks like throwing dirt in his face.
Due to his tall stature, he would have had to crouch down to do so. Regardless of if he succeeded in his ploy or not, he would use the momentary break in combat to peer quizzically at the Namekian. ''Oi! I think your friend here is all outta gas! I'm surprised you haven't come to collect him yet and run away!'' It was definitely puzzling. Even the trio earlier, hell, even many Saiyans before that had tangled with him in the past all got the idea pretty quickly for the most part when one of their buddies got tossed a whoopin'. This Namekian, though...he was strange. Had he been more unforgiving, he could have tried to pluck the Saiyan's tail right off. He wasn't out to form grudges, though; all this fighting had been his main form of entertainment during this and his previous stay on Vegeta. He'd even been challenged multiple times by the same Saiyans before, and they came back stronger each time. Probably that annoying zen-key nonsense or whatever. Pshaw. It was at this point of inner thought he realized something, though... Namek had gone boom quite some time ago. The fact this Namekian was here surviving on Vegeta meant he was a likely target for Saiyan sport, so he had to be pretty tough to both escape Namek and survive here.
Had he been unsuccessful in grasping the tail, he likely would have been distracted by shouting to the humanoid green bean.

It seemed things were going pretty poorly for Kizuki; not only was he getting trounced quite easily, it seemed his tail had been grabbed, rendering him near useless. The Namekian let out a disappointed huff as he circled the fight from above, looming over the duo like a vulture waiting for its meal. Suddenly, he heard a voice squeak out in his head. Kizuki spoke to him telepathically; a skill given to the two of them by Alaistair. The Saiyan told Xylo to 'get something going', which must have meant he wanted the Namekian to charge up an attack. Xylo nodded, replying telepathically to his weak ally. "On it. Keep him busy will you?"
The Namekian brought both of his hands up, charging his energy as quickly as he could. Soon, a set of two Ki orbs ballooned into existence, one in each hand. They slowly grew in size as Xylo surveyed the scene below. From what he could tell, he should have time to get some major damage in on the demon, he just hoped Kizuki wouldn't be killed by his attack in the process.
Suddenly, the Demon turned his attention to Xylo, posing a question to the floating Namekian. He didn't respond to the demon's query, deciding instead to focus more intently on charging his attack.

"ACH! GRAAAHHH!!!!" Another roar of pain would escape him as the demon brute clenched onto his tail, this time with both hands, squeezing it within those massive mitts. His eyes would narrow, his body attempting to fight through the pain of having his tail strangled. It was then that he could feel his body begin to adapt, his tail had begun to numb out. When the tail of a Saiyajin was submitted to incredible pain for long periods of time, it would eventually become hardened to combat. It was then that Kizuki's eyes had shot open wide, his body getting a surge of adrenaline. Twisting onto his back now, he'd shoot up both booted feet under the chin of Basil, in an effort to kick the demon in the face and create some separation between the two while both of his hands were occupied grasping his tail. [ TAIL MASTERY LEARNED! ]
Should that double kick hit, he would be able to begin rolling away backwards before ending up on his feet. His body had taken quite a bit of damage during this battle during the first tail grab when he was sent flying in every which way, throttled into the earth several times but he still had some fight in him. "I'll keep him distracted enough.." Kizuki would respond in his mind to his Namekian comrade, his arms down at his sides, bent at the elbow as two orbs of ki sprouted in either palm, fingers curled. "Whatever happens.. hit him with everything you've got! I'll survive.." With enough power flooded into his palms, he'd throw his arms out before him as the two orbs fused into one larger one, and a torrent of blue ki was fired from it in the form of a wave that was dubbed: [ N1] Destruction Cannon! - 2,435 PL "HAAAAA!"
- Kizuki attained Tail Mastery! - If he was able to create some distance, he would fire [N1] Destruction Cannon at Basil for 2,435 PL! [ KP: 2/3 ] [ WC w/HW: 298 / TWC w/HW: 2,019 ]
