[Thread PL, 256,311] He couldn't help but admit he'd been curious of the rather feisty soldier since their last encounter. Even more so since all the surprises between her blood ties and the strange coincidences that had been at work since that meeting with the motherly Kagami. He was within the uniform of the KAOS growing rather fond of it of late in fact. He rather liked its battle ready style and comfort for walking around. It also made things a little easier when came to clearance and moving freely around smaller bases and areas that needed clearance. Besides it wasn't really like there was any other blue haired, blue tailed saiyans in this army. Regardless given recent words with his friend Mimikku he found himself curious a bit more of this little dove he'd consider chasing. She wasn't like others he'd been after before but had something special about her... a je ne sais quoi that just couldn't be described. An when Jarvis got a hook in him he couldn't resist letting his curiosity real him in. There'd been a whole invasion since their dinner meeting. As well as possibly several clean up runs after the fact of the main battles. Who knew exactly how many minor attacks were dealt with as well. He'd promised Mimikku he'd watch out for Aina and still felt himself a little... curious. How she had the clear sight to see he may have had some personal interests in this as well. Jarvis made his way through the initial gates of the base working his way into the complex. Making his way past several guards and giving the occasional asking of directions to aid him in locating Aina. He had thought this was the base he was gonna find her at. But maybe the files had been mistaken. It was always so annoying when people didn't file information correctly. He detested the run around when it felt like people were crewing him. nonintentionally or not. The base however was running on a small crew of late most were out and about taking care of clean ups still and all sorts of other work given the state of all the cities. It seemed like there was always too much work to do and never enough time to do it... Made it nice to be a little higher up the food chain then the average grunt. Jarvis had been lead to one of the barracks but didn't know which room could have been Aina's either but it was as good as he was gonna get he figured. Losing sight shortly after of even the guard that got him this far. " I can never get any clear god damn instructions..." He'd say with a light huff. His imagination and curious ideas though once hooked in something and he was interested it made it hard to let go. He could easily keep a one track mind for long periods of time before ever letting something go until either it turned hopeless or he finally ha what he desired. He wasn't one to just take no or failure easily.
He'd walk down the hall slowly listening for any voices that sounded like hers beyond one of the doors perhaps. Maybe he'd get lucky and someone would send a radio message to call he'd came looking for her. He wanted to discuss Mimikku as a face value for his reason to appear,.. But also was a bit curious to discover more about this dove as well. At least without Cipher around this time he could be a little more himself. Sure it was fun to be overly aloof to pick at the android and get under his skin... Wait did androids have real skin? Bah didn't matter. He'd draw in a deep breath as he realized he was letting his mind wonder.
Briefly pulling a cigar quickly from his pocket to help calm his nerves as he slipped it to his lips. Disregarding the no smoking signs around some of the walls. Who was gonna tell him no given his power wasn't suppressed in the least. Anyone with scanners in their helmets knew of his power. Most knew who he was as well at this point. A flicker of his lighter coming shortly after as he'd huff in igniting embers at the end of the cigar. A sweet scent and oddly crimson colored smoke emanating from the cigar. You could find anything and any brand if you knew the right people. Taking a light smoke curious if this girl had perhaps been curious of him at all as well. Not able to resist considering if she'd had him in her mind at all as she'd been in his on occasion. Guess he'd find out soon enough if he could pin her down somewhere and find her.

Aina was sitting in the corner of the room within the barracks she had been given. Sitting cross legged within the computer chair she was using as her seat at the time she had her uniform on. It was not the same as the average KAOS members as she was still using her old uniform from her Earth Military days but it was modified to include the insignia of the BBA. So the black form tight suit clung to her body as she had a collection of knives scattered around the table in front of her. It seemed that a couple of them had recently been resharpened and where laying there awaiting being put back within the belt and sheaths that sat just near her on a peg between her desk and bed.
The door to her room was slightly ajar as she was slowly humming to herself as she worked. The tune was something comforting to the Hybrid yet she had no knowledge where she had learned it from. Yet the humming was quite loud so that if someone was walking by outside of her room she would sound quite clear. As she sharpened the blade she had a piece of the saiyan’s armor that she had killed hanging from the wall to her left that she was testing them on. Small clunks could be heard alongside her light singing as pieces of the armor fell onto the ground near her.
Within her head she was trying to piece things together. She had this unmistakable feeling that something was about to happen and normally when she got these feelings it meant a mission was forthcoming. So that was why she was sharpening the blackened daggers as she hadn’t done so since the day she protected the base from the saiyan invasion that wanted to eradicate it from existence.
Yet with all this anxiety her mind went back to that blue haired man she had met the night she had met her commander and his family. She could not but help feel as if he was something of a kindred spirit to herself. Perhaps he was an orphan of the world or galaxy at large as she was. To her that had to be why felt the attraction as that had to be the reason. Sniffing the air she smelt a cigar smoke and as the cigar would poke in the slit of her door a knife would come flying out cutting the glowing part of the cigar from the rest without touching the rest of the cigar. “Smoking is not allowed on base whoever that is out there. Would not want you getting in trouble with the base commander no matter how good that smelt.”
Turning in her chair she waited to see who it was that would pop their head around the corner.

It took a few moments as he drew in heavy drags of his cigar. The sweet scent and lightly mind relaxing warmth taking hold of him. The flavor sweet as well and the best he'd found as far as his favorite little vices went. The embers burning bright when his ears perked up lightly. Curious aqua eyes looking around momentarily when a familiar sound and humming hit his ears. Lightly picking it up at first but quickly having a small tickle of recognition. He snickered a bit as he neared the door and heard the voice that only confirmed his suspicions. At least he'd found his way after all. His light chuckle echoing like a whisper as he grinned placing a hand to the door and slowly pushing it open after he became close enough. "I'm sure they'd get a little mad! But then again I try not to worry about what all the other officers think. It'll drive ya mad if ya try and follow 'every' little rule." His blue tail swaying back and forth behind him as he seemed pleased smirking when he saw her. Her uniform catching his eye though.
His eyes drifting over her briefly curious why she'd still be wearing that over the BBA one. Old loyalties die hard he'd think to himself. It had the insignia at least not that he'd be complaining though. She wore it well after all. His eyes catching the sight of daggers being sharpened as well and briefly the hanging saiyan armor. She definitely knew how to give off a intriguing impression... The knives were always fun too. Perhaps she'd done rather well in the fighting after all. "Thought I'd came check on my little new friend again to make sure all was still well after the invasion troubles... Make sure our foes didn't go and do any damage." Trying to make up a believable excuse. He did want to make sure she was alright given his promise to watch over her. As well as some personal curiosity. He was also wondering about possible irregularities... The relationship between the girl and a possible spirit like her mother. All the little possibilities only adding to the excitements and possibilities.
"Heh, Hope you don't mind a fellow KAOS coming through to check up on ya and all Lass, Not that I don't think you can handle yourself of course." Still trying to remain relaxed. Not exactly sure if it was his place to dive to deep into informing the girl of her mother. But perhaps he could at least find a way to ease what he knows into the open in a more natural way. Time would tell he supposed but for now he'd settle with just getting past introductions. Trying to read the moments and expressions. His own the usual smirk but a bit more relaxed then when they first met. Perhaps a bit more kind and natural since there wasn't a certain android around to try and upset and anger for fun. Thinking lightly on that hummed tune of hers as well. Curious a bit on it as he lightly played it through his head as he'd wait for her response. Curious of what sort of greeting he may receive and perhaps if his reputations had gotten ahead of him since when last they'd met.
He couldn't help but find her almost a kindred spirit in interests. Even if she had a mother that loved her she'd came to understand hardships as well. The more he learned from either daughter or mother the further his intrigue grew. It wasn't often one could find another who could relate to such dark pasts and relations. Somethings some just couldn't understand if they didn't experience themselves. the more he learned the more he wanted felt a need to keep learning and diving further. Curious for some understanding of his own perhaps.

She instantly recognized the voice at the door as it slowly opened up. The very same blue haired man that was tormenting her mind when the other being, person, whatever the hell it was was not trying to drive her insane. Stopping the last stroke of her sharpening she turned to smile at him as he entered. As he spoke about going mad if you followed every single rule she let out a chuckle. “Well that is true that it would drive a normally sane person mad. But when you are already mad it cannot do a lot to you. Though as I am still new they pretty much forced me to memorize the stupid thing… and if I had stuck with the rules this base would have been obliterated by the saiyans and we would of lost many good men and women…”
She was speaking back on the day that the battle was hot and heavy around the base and surrounding area. Having dove headlong into combat she managed to kill a fair share of the saiyans who had come to try and kill many personnel or nearby civilians. Catching in her look at Jarvis in his own uniform she smirked at him as she saw his eyes slowly moving around her frame. The dress she had worn was quite sheer but compared to the dress this uniform was form fitting tight and left very little to the imagination of her opponents. Hearing up the excuse that the man came up with as he stood there brought a light chuckle to her lips. “They tried to come in aand cause a lot of damage. The first volley caught many with their pants down as it where. I managed to dodge a rather persuasive bunch who came into the base through the shooting range wall. Took em down without much effort. Guess they never expected a small woman to be so fast and deadly with a knife.”
As she spoke she felt the voice slowly creep back into her mind and as it did she grabbed one of her knives and threw it at a thick board beside the door. A makeshift target was painted on the board and most of the wear points would be in the middle of the board as the knife impacted it and stuck into the wood perfectly. Jarvis would notice the creep of coloration change within her right eye as she did the motion though. “The leader of their little group did not expect that type of throw from me either. Caught him directly in the spot to catch his windpipe and slice into the vein right next to it. Had him drowning in his blood within seconds. Poor saiyan bastard never stood a chance. How about yourself Jarvis? Get any big fish in your fight? My scouter said you where off fighting with the Administrator and a few other really strong opponents.”
Bringing up his own mission she was hoping to learn more then what she had from the official broadcasts and the internal broadcasts about the fight that had occurred across the planet. Motioning toward the second chair that was set at the foot of her regular sized bed she did not move from her cross legged position in the computer chair. “Please sit Jarvis. Sadly I do not really have anything in here to rival what you have at your resteraunt. All I got is some water and a few cracker sleeves as I usually just eat at the cantina when given the chance. So what brings you by my friend?”

He chuckled a bit but gave a friendly smile at the fact that rules did get in the way at times of doing what was more direct and right at times. Impressed it sounded like she'd saved a few people as well from how she spoke. Drawing in a strong breath of the cigar feeling his curiosity grow. "Well the more you memorize perhaps the more we can break later. Its always fun to let loose after such troubled times anyway. I'm sure they'd hardly care for such tiny details after we did so much to save the planet after all." Bringing up how it was people like them that were responsible for defending this planet. Sometimes on more then one occasion. The trip through hell always haunting his mind to some degree or another as a reminder of the pains gone through for such a special planet.
He listened to her story keeping his eyes to her figure now and again. Even if others things leaving stuff up to the imagination could be fun something about those body suit style uniforms just had a way holding his attention. He had a tough time breaking his mind from something the more he grew interested. But perked his eyes a bit following the knife with his gaze quickly as she threw it with keen accuracy into the board. Quick and precise... Feisty and with skill. He knew she had to have been good to gain the attention she did so it was nice to not be disappointed chuckling nervously after what he saw. "Heh to bad for him he underestimated ya... Now you make me curious just how well you could stand up to me. Curious... Curious." Walking by for a moment reaching to her board and target as he did. Catching hte strange coloration in her eye... A deadly chill shivering down his spine as he pulled the blade from the board. Flipping it in his hand and catching it by the handle each time as he'd move a bit closer. Sitting on the side of her bed so they could be more close together eying her in her chair. Looking over the edge of her blade as he considered the battle. The strange squads he'd encountered. Sitting on the bed rather then the chair
"I was in fact briefly fighting at his side... At the center of south city. We had to face some rather large Oozaru forces as well as several powerful saiyans in a leading sqaud. I killed one of the tough ones and around forty or so Oozaru's. It was a very satisfying day... Beat another girly they had with em but what can I say. I ended up sparing her... oddly enough their leader was too much for me to take. Spared me though since the girl I spared turned out to be his mate. Guess lucks always on my side one way or another..." Licking at his inner teeth with that cheeky grin of his.
He pondered what to say as to why he'd come. There were several meriting reasons but he didn't want to be outright direct and boring. Looking at her knife he was still holding after a few seconds of quick though before answering as his blue eyes looked into hers briefly. "I've been moving about here and there checking up on things since the invasion ended... Maybe I was just curious to see if you'd made it? Thought it might be good to come see with me own eyes if the red eyed lass from the last meeting was still all in one piece. Besides it always nice to have a little talk when its just two people rather then a whole jumble of people right? Heh and as for food my appetites don't really hunger for things like that at the moment." Being a little coy in his words. Watching if there was any signs of what he was gonna watch for as well. The spirit or goddess as such like what Mimikku had. He did recall perhaps her needing aid to learn to accept it. While he didn't exactly understand it himself he did promise and desire to lend aid. But it wasn't exactly something he could ask about. Watching for subtle reactions was more his key to figuring things out.
"I hope my company isn't so bad... I'd be heart broken if I found you'd desire me to be sent away. Heheh. Maybe I don't really have a reason. Just wanting to make sure my feisty new friend is just all well and good..." While he still had that look in his eyes his smirk faded for a lightly more relaxed sincere smile. This planet was really make him soft. He was getting to used to the idea of wanting to protect people and actually allowing some of his feelings and inner self to shine through. Either way hopefully he could pull a little fun out of his white haired friend if he was careful. After all for the most part they seemed to have this area of the base to themselves. Or at least no one else was making any noise. Finishing his cigar and crushing in his fist the gloves of his uniform strong enough to resist flame before tossing it into the trashcan nearby. Offering her knife back as well but he'd hold onto the tip of it and not release it if she grabbed it at least not until she answered. Also holding it in a way so she'd have to lean close and wheel her chair closer to retrieve it lessening the space between them.

Raising an eyebrow at the mention of breaking the rules slowly transitioned into her smirking and smiling widely at Jarvis. Her pearly white teeth showing through as the thoughts about breaking many of the rules came to mind. As she most certainly agreed with him. After everything that had happened with the invasion the fact that she had not had a day of rest had made her a little stir crazy. Rubbing the side of her head she spoke back up at him. “IS that not the truth. Saw some of the guys around here. Some look like they have not seen a woman beside their mother or sister ever. So seeing someone like myself seemingly blows their mind. So some time to relax would not be a bad thing.”
With a light chuckle she leaned back in the computer chair having it release a light squeaking noise as she watched him grab the handle of her knife. Noticing with the ease with which he pulled the knife from the board she had to guess that he was very much stronger than the average guy around here. :: Would make sense he is stronger than most around here. Hell he is probable stronger than everyone except the Administrator and the Commander. So him tossing the blade and catching it like that also suggests that he is not just who he appears to be. :: Her thoughts where rather rapid fire as she was specifically trying to keep the other voice within her head from emerging any at all. Yet even despite these precautions and everything she once more felt that voice nibbling at the back of her psyche. :: He … knows.. something… He.. smells.. of.. fam..ily… ::
As the goddess spoke to her Aina’s face furrowed in a determined look as she turned her head away as both of her eyes began to cover over for a short bit before she pushed the goddess from her mind. Turning back after she grabbed the water beside her and taking a drink from it. She had relaxed her face yet the coloration of her right eye had changed to a vibrant violet in color. Though she didn’t seem to notice it nor mind it as she followed his movements.
“Well good to hear that you where fighting alongside both the Commander and Administrator. I take it that the fighting was actually dangerous as all the saiyans I saw had a look of bloodlust within their eyes. Though that bloodlust did not make them any stronger then I could imagine most of the rank and file where. Also you fought Oozaru monkey’s? That had to of been difficult. I saw the damage reports that they did across the cities. North City was nearly leveled.. again, as was West City and Satan City. Though I also read the reports of the saiyan troopers openly rebelling against one another once the elites where scattered…” She shrugged her shoulders once more as if she was trying to process all of the information she had just spoken of. Smiling widely as she felt the flirt coming from Jarvis to her. It was not all that unusual but this time she was enjoying to reciprocate the attention toward him as well.
“Well maybe play those cards right Jarvis and maybe we can both quench a hunger from within ourselves. And if your company was not pleasant I would of sent you away shortly after you entered.” Her voice rolled ever so slightly taking a slightly alluring tone as she smiled at him and moved in closer to take ahold of her dagger’s hilt. Leaning in she was about halfway over the dagger and almost in close to Jarvis as her white hair cascaded down a little as she felt a pang at the back of her head. The goddess was once more trying to talk to her but she was having nothing of it. Bringing her left hand up to the back of her head she held onto the hilt with her right hand.

Jarvis chuckled he could tell when someone was feeling cooped up. The rules bearing down on her s they spoke an talking about the men who clearly enjoyed what they saw. Jarvis feeling a momentary twinge of something in his gut at that idea. Something almost made him desire to point out he'd come to see her after he left later. Not really overly recognizing the strange sensation when the sensation came to him. He normally didn't feel this way in concerns to other men and all. As well for knowing the traits of being cooped up and telling when rules or regulation wore down on someone... Well survive as many years as he did on ships and traversing the galaxy you learn quickly the many difference faces of people when they feel the walls closing in in more settled ways. "Well it is hard to look away at times... But it could be stressful feeling eyes on you often? I suppose its just a matter of finding what eyes you would enjoy to watch you rather then make you feel annoyingly observed rather. Oh what a challenge to find such gazing eyes..." Smirking and playing along with his little game.
He paused for a moment though after he'd sat finally and saw her furrowing her brow. Drinking quickly at her water trying to calm something. The color in her eyes picking up a sign he caught quickly as well. Mimikku was right after all there was something going on here. Jarvis considering it being the spirit part of her given what Mimikku had mentioned. Perhaps needing help learning to accept it. Something possibly troubling the relationship. Sadly Jarvis only had what he heard from her to go off of for information on it. It wasn't something he understood or new about personally so he could only consider so many options. "Are you ok? Headaches?" He'd say for a moment the charismatic whimsical expressions he had fading for a brief opening of more sincere concern. The promise to the mother as well as his own interests letting a little sincerity momentarily break through without the mask and fun of his joking style he normally uses.
"The Oozaru weren't that much of a threat... At least not to me personally I killed a few of them with just well placed blasts. But yes some traitors to their ranks broke the spine in the south where I was fighting. A group of them turned against their own an I believe are still roaming about on the planet. Heh... Suppose its something to watch out for. One less enemy working for the saiyans but still a lightly worrisome thread if we aren't careful." Speaking briefly about what happened. His grin returning but his eyes holing light concern as he momentarily stared into her eyes looking at her violet color. It might have looked like he was staring in her eyes for other reasons a light blush caught his cheeks even if he didn't realize it himself as well.
The reddened blush only worsened at her words. That cause him to snicker ever so lightly. He held the blade lightly by the blade to keep her close after she took the hilt. "Oh I'd love that, Heh tell ya the truth you definitely have a way of making hungers grow for me. More then most others can that's for sure." Trying to be a little coy and flirtatious. Something made him want to ease reactions out of her then be as direct as he may have been in the past with others. More of that softening from earths impressions possibly. But he paused his eyes flashing on reaction that slight worried expression again. He'd release the blade and momentarily a appear as if he was about to touch her cheek but stay his hand. Realizing it as he caught himself. "Its the whispers isn't it...." He'd say in a lightly stoic and somber tone. His expression lightly worried for her and her reactions. He didn't want to risk prodding to far into her business or getting into matters he shouldn't. But maybe he could help with what little he knew at least. "The whispers... Like another person's thoughts?" He'd try to reach out for her hand that would be holding the blade. If she'd allow him to touch it if not hold it lightly.

Shrugging to his question about the stressful eyes always looking at her. To her it was nothing as she had grown so accustomed to them over the years. Always watching her be it in envious, jealous, or lecherous eyes. She had used this to her advantage plenty of times as she had gone along in her life. Using one man to pit against another as she escapes the both of them. Yet by the end of it she smiled wildly. IT was true she was most certainly searching for that pair of eyes that did not unnerve her and that she would not seeing her in all of her glory at any time. She had not met any set that matched that description quite yet but she knew a couple of possible candidates for this.
Waving her hand as he showed concern for her over the motion she made cause of the headache. Rubbing her temple lightly she attempted to stay calmer than she had. “Yea its just a minor one. I have a feeling it is something genetic as I have always been getting them. For as long as I can remember I have been getting them. Always with something else nibbling at my head each time. It hurts something fierce but passes just as fast as it comes.”
She stopped talking about the headache as she listened to the synopsis of the battle from Jarvis’ perspective. It differed from the version that was released to the public that said most who surrendered had been apprehended and taken care of by now. Which this meant that even the administrator was flexible and malleable in situations that could change based on the situation. Which was a good thing for her to understand and believe. “Well the old Earth adage of the Enemy of my Enemy is my friend comes to mind here Jarvis. So us sparing them makes them in debted to us in a manner of speaking. If the Administrator wanted to he could possibly bring them in the help defend against a greater threat. So for now they are of no mind. Instead we look into the future and realize that there has to be more out there that will bring us to issue.”
Her head lowered a little as the pain cameback a little until she heard Jarvis speak up about whispers. Blinking several times she looked directly at him. “I.. I do.. how.. how can you know about that…” Not even flinching as she raised her head and looked him directly in the eyes as if expecting him to be pulling her leg with what he said. To make fun of her or ridicule her as so many had done in the past.

She had faith in the administer and this military. He had to find that good news it was settling to feel like she trusted this place. It made him consider that to mean as well she wasn't gonna be going anywhere anytime soon. His fingers fidgeting lightly as his hands resting at his wrists rested at his knees for the moment. Heh he'd not like to admit it most likely but he'd not desire her to leave anytime soon. He tried to reach out for her hand though when she gave him that look... Confused an he couldn't really blame her. She didn't seem willing to let it out and if he didn't know so much from her mother already he'd have just brushed it off as migraines perhaps and little else.
He'd try to slowly with his finger tips move to hers. Not overly sure how to address this topic. Letting out a sigh as he looked of to the side for a moment breaking the locking eyes and gaze briefly before turning back. Giving a soft smile but clearly struggling to think on how to speak. "Well... We may have mutual friends in a manner of speaking... On who holds similar genes of that species you are born from... I don't know much I'm afraid. But I do now you should consider listening to it I've been told... Rather then fighting it or blocking it out like a simple headache." One hand stayed its course while another reached behind his head scratching at the back of his head and into his blue locks of hair. Smirking but blushing a bit. Looking lightly embarrassed as if he thought he was sounding rather foolish. This was a rather serious turn of conversation an he wasn't really sure how to candy code it.. Or even how to say it at all properly.
"I mean... I've met others with this spirit in them. A goddess she called it. It was interesting to see how the commingled. Like two existences in one body. I'm not sure if this is a topic you are comfortable speaking about with me... But I know a little on the subject even if that's not allot. I'd like to help though... If you'd allow." That somber feeling that seemed to take him on this planet coming back again. Just like with the mother feeling a lightly genuine form of caring in his voice and expression. The kind he'd been developing in his ventures to protect this planet as well as learning of the warriors he now called friend from this earth. Some part of him hoping she'd listen or that he was right. He'd try to remain calm and locking eyes with her to give a serious yet welcoming expression. Waiting to see how she'd react to this little bit of advice an information.

Aina did not pull away from him as she felt his fingertips brush against her own. IT was odd for her to be tis open with someone as she had always hidden away the fact of the voice within her head. To her it was a psychological disorder that would of needed treatment if she had actually spoken about what she had. Yet as she listened to Jarvis speak and act she felt a calming presence come around her. To Aina it was a familiar feeling that she used to get on nights when things looked bad when she lived on the streets. It was a presence that she had taken for granted. “A.. mutual friend? I have never met anyone else who has had this type of thing inside of their heads except those that were very ill. And born from… Jarvis what is it that you are not telling me? If you know of what I am born from then you must know…”
In a sudden movement Aina lifted her head and looked directly into Jarvis’s eyes with her own crimson eyes. Her hand moved and grasped his tightly after dropping the knife to the ground. In an eerie moment she seemed to peer through the Hybrid as she spoke. “Does that mean you have found either my mother or father? If you have tell me who they are.. Where they are… I.. I want to…” Her words trailed off as her eyes seemed to dilute and fade away for a moment.
As her pupils returned they where a sharp violet in color yet the grip she had was still tight to his hands as if they had frozen themselves over him. “It… seems that this works. Have never attempted to dominate her to calm her down since she was much younger. I believe you are Jarvis the one that moves about her mind . It is good to meet you in the flesh finally. I am Avacyn another of the goddesses for the Kagami. I cannot do this for long as the moment she calms down I will lose this connection to speak. The only work I need to.. be.. in the presence.. of another goddess.. that can.. draw me out…”
The goddesses words slipped away as her eyes shifted back to their natural red colors. Shaking her head as she seemed calmer than before. Bringing a hand up to her head as she rubbed the side of her head. “That.. felt odd. I have not felt that emotional about something in such a long time… but you spoke about knowing someone that could help… Can I ask who they are and just how it is that you could assist?”

His finger tips would tangle with her own pulling a little closer and taking her hand. He could see that look or feel it perhaps... He'd had plenty of times when he was a boy and more when he was one his own when just a touch or words would have made all the difference. Sadly his need for aid and kindness was always met with silence or pain. It was calming to feel some acceptance as he touched her. Maybe that's what made him want to help, What attracted him to the mother and now the daughter. Broken spirits often sought similar company after all. "Uh what I know... Well... I." She was piecing something together and wanted answers. That was fair but he gave lightly wide eyes his mouth hanging open lightly a gape as he seemd to search for the word. Searching for some explanations.
She gripped his hand now a little more in a strong grasp then the soft holing prior. Her eyes locking onto him a serious expressions. A shiver down to his very soul echoing throughout his body. He tried to think what to say the blade clanging on the floor that she dropped. "Your mother... I know your mother... An I.." A momentary break in his words as he saw her eyes fade lightly. A new color take hold of violet and the voice began to change as well. It didn't take long to realize exactly what happened. The grip was still strong but he seemed a little on edge... Curious but cautious. His grip increasing in strength as well. "I'm never gonna get used to that... Wait another goddess? Like Lilith?" He'd say quickly snapping to attention. Some part of him flaring as his desire to help came into him. That better side of him that had been growing since he came to this planet and settled here.
he didn't realize she had taken back control when he blundered out a added. "Wait she's been thinking about me?" He'd let out snapping a blush and clearing his throat when he heard her original voice return. Hoping she perhaps didn't catch that... He'd let out a sigh... No wishing he could have gotten a few more moments to talk to this Avacyn. If only Mimikku was around perhaps Lil would have had some answers. Either way he was to deep in now to play it off softly now. "I guess there's not real sugar coating it now... You have a goddess inside you. If you really know of your people I guess it happens to them? An it seems you need another to help get it more active. I mean she told me about this you possibly needing help... I.... I know your mom. She's a sweet person and we've met a few times. I think perhaps she can help you or maybe it meant some other goddess. I'm not really sure how this all works all I know is that. Avacyn the one in you needs another to aid it awakening."
He'd clear his throat lightly. Running his free hand through his blue hair a little worried how she may react to all this. "I kinda wanted to be sure before I came to you with this. Its kinda why I visited you today... Well that and... Well you're ok. You just need to find a way to find the right goddess I suppose. Sadly I don't know if this means your moms or some other form... you don't have any info on your people that makes any make more sense do you?... I'll help?" Looking in her eyes past her white hair. Features that were capturing him rather strong. His eyes drifting to their hands as his thumb would lightly brush her hand in the hold they still had. He knew well in this world you could easily die tomorrow if things went crazy so why not be a little hinting. As to what his other reasons were for coming to see her and wanting to help. As well as what the goddess said gave him a little bit of a renewed interest at that. He'd keep his word to Mimikku. He was gonna help and that was just that. "Something tells me this is allot to take in at once right? Heh. We can talk about this more but maybe this will help first?" Reaching with his free hand under his armor and after a few seconds pulling out a small flask. A strong Brenchian whiskey inside that may have taken some of her edge off if she was so inclined to partake.

As Aina was fully regaining her capacity for thought she swore she heard Jarvis speak up about her mother and that he knew her. This had sent her over the edge the first time and yet something had pulled her away for a few seconds and allowed her time to calm herself down. Shaking her head lightly from side to side she realized that Jarvis had to be telling her the truth about this. About all of this as she looked at him she squeezed his hand lightly. Yet the admission that she could only assume this other side of herself forced a massive blush to cross her face. It burnt across her face as she took in a couple of breaths. “I… yes I have thought about you since.. since we talked at the resteraunt. You are not like the others here… You are not from Earth and yet you devote yourself to help fight for it. That selfless nature is something I admire Jarvis..”
She let out a light cough at the open admission to him. It was obvious that she was telling the truth as the crimson blush on her face did not go anywhere as she admitted it. As she stopped her head movements she listened to him just speak plainly and get to the point. This was another reason she had taken a shine to Jarvis. As he did not beat around the bush any and just shot it straight with her. “The name… I remember the name as the.. angel that used to visit me in my dreams when I was a young teenager. I remember her forcing me awake several times by scaring me and those moments saved me from being attacked several times… Then the angel vanished slowly dissolving into nothing as time went away. Her voice once a comforting thing became disjointed and painful to listen to. Bringin me headaches and pain…”
Watching him shuffle underneath his armor and pull out a small flask she smiled widely. As he offered it to her she brought up her hand to take the flask and take a quick swig from it before handing it back to him. Her eyes widened for a split second as she adjusted to the strength and potency of the beverage. Shaking her head from side to side she smiled at him. “So that is your good stuff… Take it the stuff at the resteraunt is just the easiest to find stuff then?” Her smile returning to her face as she tried to divert the conversation as she processed it completely.

It wasn't what he was used to that was for sure. He found what she said sweet and her reaction only enhancing his reactions to it. It wasn't the normal description he was used to hearing anyone to describe him with or anything about him with kind words. He'd clear his throat as a light nervous chuckle broke past his lips. A little crimson on his cheeks brightening as he saw hers as well. He liked to think he was good at reading people but he didn't need to be a master at it to see the little signs this time. his voice was lightly nervous and cheerful though like he he was pleased with what he heard. "I... Well I've never heard anyone say anything like that about me. Most just think more my more... eccentric side." His grip only molding with hers softly and firm in strength to match her own. "It's Kinda nice... Guess you'd like to know then lass that you've been crossing my mind as well more often then not? Guess similar minds attract one another at times... I mean you protect this home of yours as well. A very strong woman better then most that's for sure." Trying to break his mind from wondering. He was never good with dealing with these tense moments. His thoughts drifting briefly but rather then looking at her form he found himself looking at her lips briefly. Trying to hid he was biting his inner lip as she spoke more of her inner 'angel'. Finding this a interesting way to phrase it. A little more fitting then just saying goddess or gods all the time.
"Its good you know... Maybe if we find the right trail we can fix whatever is wrong with the connection. Figures it'd involve one of the species in the galaxy I know little about. Guess my luck came up short there this time... Been over quite a few corners of the galaxy and tis one of the few I know little about... From what I gather they do help. You can trust them and hell like I said to another once it'd have been nice to have something like that when I was a boy. Some comfort perhaps in not actually being alone all the time..." He gave her drink and smirked then laughed as crimson cheeks gave a true smile. The kind only a few people on this planet were privy to. Beyond his normal coy smirks and bravado expressions. "Yea its a personal favorite. The strong stuff that most can't handle. Helps take the edge off at times like these ya know? I've always found a stiff drink is sometimes just the ticket." Throwing back a quick drink himself as well. The strong burn at his throat causing him to clear his throat once more. The burn rushing down his throat and into the stomach. the sensation easing the edge off lightly an giving the nice warming sensation he loved from it. It was a god send when on the cold planet of Arcose. Setting it on a nearby table rather then putting it away. Should either of them desire a bit more.
His eyes drifting back over her lips briefly trying to get a pin on exactly what type of moment person she was. He was used to coaxing out a little interest when he found himself drawn to someone but never had he actually felt chocked up or off his game like this. The tensions in the air were a little high as well as it wasn't every day you revealed someone had a god in them. As well as those long lost family connections combined with the fact of possible attractions. It almost teased his mind with how people talked of kai's or gods playing with mortals. Maybe these gods and goddess's in the Kagami people liked to watch mortal fumble around like this when they had trouble deciding what to do.
"I imagine this is allot to take in? I don't plan on going anywhere... If you need someone close. Rather then just sticking to thoughts alone." Going for a light jest after hearing she had been thinking about him. His eyes still drifting from her crimson eyes to her lips and then lightly giving her hand a light pull trying to get her to come closer and sit next to him perhaps. He felt like a school boy with how he was going about this. "It's only fair I help you figure all this out for dropping it all on you after all. I liked to make sure I pay all my debts. I don't like to leave things undone and not taken care of dove." Feeling embarrassed hoping he wasn't being obvious he had some strange emotions twisting here. Wondering if she was perhaps finding this comical which only made his cheeks redden a bit more. His breathing growing a little more heavy. He thought back briefly to how Lilith seemed to spark up around this time when he was around Mimikku before with some comical added dialogue. Hopefully this girls angel would like him as well.

She still felt a little apprehensive as she sat inside the computer chair. It was obvious as the crimson that covered her cheeks. “Well your eccentric side is something that distinguishes you from many others Jarvis. It does sound nice to know that you have been having the same thoughts as I have. It… is refreshing for once to have someone reciprocate a feelings instead of them being all one sided.” She had noticed his actions as she spoke about the childish inner angel that she spoke about. To her it reminded her of stories about ‘Guardian Angels’ throughout the years.
“Well I do enjoy a stiff drink. Yours is most definently the most exotic I have had. The cool burn as it goes down your throat and the not quite so heavy taste on your stomach. It is most certainly a unique taste and one I rather enjoy.” Her genuine smile stayed upon her face as she looked around and noticed the moon light shining in on hallway just outside of her room. An idea started to form within her head as she was trying to think about the next step to do. As she did not want to rush things with him despite the obvious physical want to do just that. With the tug upon her hand she raised her head and smiled at him as she stood up and moved to sit beside him on the bed.
The moment began to stretch on as she felt nervous energy building up and her usual confident bravado slip away. Pulling her hand back she began to wring her hands a lot like Mimikku would do as she thought to herself. After a minute she stood up and smiled at him. Tugging at his arm after reaching for his arm. “Come along… I think staying inside is not a good idea. Not to mention if you wanted to smoke another cigar I would prefer neither of us getting in trouble. That and maybe we can enjoy a rather nice moonlit night out there… See what all happens and.. and.. well come on lets get going…”
With something of a giddy jump to her step she took off and moved toward the exit of her room. Reaching up she grabbed the bandolier of knives that hung on the door and smiled at him as she slipped it around her shoulder. She would wait for Jarvis to respond before heading out into the hallway where she would look for a door to exit the floor of the base.

The relaxing calm only increased as he could feel his bodies temperature raising. His lightly crimson tone showing strong with his naturally light complexion. The blue didn't help either to hide it from his eyes too his light blue hair. "I know just what you mean. Strange though... It only makes the feeling heavier in a sense. When you know the other person starts feeling the same right? Nice as well to consider all sorts of company, Beyond angels alone." A building tension within him forming. His heart beating rapidly in his chest but his breath was slow and calm. Adding a bit of more heated implications to the conversation.
He enjoyed she could also savored and enjoy rare brand drink as well. The way she described it as well only further riveted his imaginations and the sensations running through his mind. He didn't speak about it back though merely looked at with a lightly cheeky yet innocent smirk. Feeling more like a lost pup then his usually self in such instances like this. The heat in his cheeks and strange fluttering in his belly kept him for some reason from being as forward as he normally may have been. The stretching moment just sorta rose the tension and anticipation. A want to consider a more physical mingling built in the air. His eyes looking at her lips and then seeing her wringing at her hands after their grasp was broken with each other. He bit his inner lip as he considered making his move. To place his own lips upon hers. But just as the idea ran through his mind she was rising from the bed.
She tugged at his arm and he was a bit surprised taken by curiosity and a little unprepared for wanting to leave the room rather then enjoy it. But it quickly lead to a smirk on his lips and a light chuckle that lead him being lifted and following along with her mere inches behind if not right at her side towards the moonlight hall. She slipped her knives holstered in the bandoleer upon her shoulder and gave a smile that had him hooked like a fish on the line. Moving close almost brushing against her at first as they'd be at the doorway heading towards a exit no doubt. Curious what the minx dove had in mind. "Yea a smoke... Might be just the ticket. Its starting to look like too lovely a night to be cooped up in the dorms anyway right?... Lead the way... Aina." Speaking her name in a soft warm tone. Feeling like it was all some giddy story playing out. The jump to her step and look in her eyes all the way down to the way she sounded. It just had him drawing in further down the rabbit hole.
His eyes nearly always upon her as he had a cheerful spirit to his tone and more innocent or at least relaxed way about him then normal. His shoulders relaxing and less on edge as he'd been the last few days with all the troubles occurring from the prior invasion. He needed this... this feeling, this distraction. Normally not letting get such ideas or emotions getting the best of him. But he just couldn't resist wanting to be lead on by her wherever she had in mind to go.
