[This will be my 2/2 Zeni thread for the week. Tier 3 shop active for 100% Boost] The day was booming and Jarvis had been busy of late! Training celebration an preparing! But would that mean he'd let himself miss the chance to enjoy himself just cause danger was coming? Pfft hell now. Jarvis had decided besides those rare moments when people called upon him for training those grav chamber visits would likely be his only real training. Push the body hard and strong but at any other time enjoy this fleeting thing we call life! The night was a more casual one then others. The music was live but more a casual and classical sorts! The bar was packed but the dinner crowd was gathering some notice! Along with the wild party's and gambling there were nights for when families desired time after all! A area set asside for dinners and fine meals while other areas were set up for the dancing drinkers to wriggle about! Jarvis had been working with one of his soldiers to get a proper schedule up so they could cater to many customers with different needs at different days. Jarvis wasn't always the most direct owner he had people he trusted and put in charge of various parts of it so he wouldn't have to be troubled but he still got final say on all big decisions.
West city did like its 'clean' entertainment. The weekends were usually when the gambling and hotter dancing took place anyway. Going from dinner crown in the evening to night club scene at night was a good setup as well to bring in the cash. There was as well a couple of Jarvis's squad on guard now and again. Helmeted the two women at corners of the store in uniform as well. BBA KAOS underlings. Jarvis though it would add a edge of making people feel protected in these times and want to spend more money as well while feeling safe! Jarvis was for the moment in the back room sitting with his squad leader. The man who let the other three women. "No more trouble I take it from the arse's contacts?" The second giving a shrug and and smirking "They were... happy with the payment we sent. They should mind their own business now. This place is secured. We should get any trouble... An if we do. I'll handle it as I've promised. Its not that hard to get these guys on bogus charges... or to have them turn up on the bad end of a shoot out. Accidents happen out there..." Jarvis lighting up a smoke with a match and a strike. Puffing at one of his cigars. A fine brand but not hell smoke. He'd ran out of that not long ago. "I knew I chose the right guy but lets try to keep away from killing. I don't need to upsetting some of my new fr...contacts. I want this to be legit and clean! We did what we did now we just need to secure the investments. Only go to that extreme if we got no other options. If you do anything to extreme I will hold you responsible... But for now you did good. Heh." The soldier smirking. Jarvis pouring the man a drink as he watched various screens through a security feed of the outer area and dining area as well as ones that linked to the various areas of storage and the kitchen. He could see the whole lay out from here. Jarvis had a nice little suite setup as a upper floor. Like a well setup apartment should he choose to rest in this place. Even if he still preferred the lookout for its company but good luck getting him to admit that.
There had also been a good amount of BBA showing up that only made him laugh. So the people in uniform also knew how to have a good time apart for his most special little squad. Jarvis was wearing the saiyan body suit with military pants over it an combat boots upon his feet. His feet were kicked up on the counter as he was close to falling a sleep shortly after his squad leader mad his leave. He had only showed up today to ensure some settlement business after rushing the old owner was taken care off. buying off people so no chance of hard feelings for brutalizing the man then sending him to jail. Jarvis had it all planned out and already greased the wheels and was home free now. He would have considering taking his leave if not for a little sound coming from the door after the leader returned. Peeking in for just a moment. "Boss... Apparently some big person is coming in? I figured I'd let you know. Not sure if its for personal reasons or any meetings just thought I'd let you know... I'm gonna relieve one of the girls and take my turn at watch." The man taking his leave. Jarvis had ensured they were all paid well and had better lives thanks to BBA benefits. They were good people to have and he would kick extra cash their way as needed. Although any reall BBA that knew them would know they came with a reputation. Likely anyone that knew of this take over as well would be whispering how Jarvis got ownership after bringing down a criminal leader. One of his old contacts no less that was often a little rude about his half blood features. Guess they should have known better then to fuck with a rising blue star!
Regardless Jarvis would reach out clicking the camera towards the doors and main rooms. Trying to get a peek at what kind of people were coming in. Or if he'd need to take his leave or make a appearance.

"Oh, this place looks nice," Porsalynne said with a smile as she walked into the building, her arm hooked around Cipher's and their daughter Charlene on her other side. The place had a nice, warm atmosphere, and seemed to be pretty busy. Not so much that there was no room for them, but enough to show this place definitely had something going for it. Cipher merely nodded in reply, looking around. It had been a while since they had gone out to dinner together, as a family. It was nice to just relax and have a good time. But there was something that ate at Cipher. As they had approached the building, Cipher had noticed a number of BBA soldiers standing guard in front of the place. Normally he wouldn't have minded, security in the populated areas had been increased in response to Zucceta's announcement, but there seemed to be some guarding this particular establishment above all else. Why was that?
As he pondered this, the host approached them with a warm smile. "Good evening. Table for three?"
"A table for four please. We have one more coming." Cipher replied. Truth be told, this wasn't entirely a social event. A new member had just been accepted into KAOS and had been arranged to meet with him tonight. Porsalynne had suggested they invite this new recruit out to dinner, make them feel relaxed and welcome. Cipher couldn't really argue with that logic. The host nodded, picking up four menus and asking them to follow him. They weaved through the crowds before they arrived at a booth. "Will this be acceptable sir?" he asked. The android nodded and gave a courteous smile. The host nodded, setting the menus down and leaving as the family sat at the table. Charlene was already looking through the menu as they got comfortable. Glancing at his menu, Cipher looked around, hoping to spot the new recruit soon.

The soldiers kept a eye out the three women and one male keeping helmets on. Jarvis's soldiers didn't have the best reputation before he took them into his squad. He needed people who knew how to keep secrets but also be loyal. Your normal loyal to the core type soldier just wouldn't have done. Jarvis chuckled almost unable to believe his eyes when he saw Cipher and that lovely little robot wife of his. Jarvis scratched his chin respecting that boundary but the old boy still wondered a bit in his mind. Jarvis made way his way out the body suit on and the boots and gloves leaving his helmet behind. He'd been grabbed his his 2nd and told another was coming. Heh some sort of meeting maybe... Was vi-poi gonna show up? There'd be a real treat. Jarvis making his way across the floor past the dancing and more revited part of the club the dinner area. The nice more family corner of things. Jarvis grabbing a bottle of more fine scotch from behind the bar on his way. Jarvis would rather quickly and out of nowhere as Cipher scowered the room scoot up and plop right down next to him. Getting right up next to Cipher in a instant his face mere inches away. " Weeeeeellll. If it isn't my favorite android and officer! Come for a nice little treat ave' ya? Little night on the town? Rumor is ya got some company coming as well? Awfully mysterious..." Smacking his hand on the table lightly chuckling turning towards Porsalynne and Charlene. " ROIGHT! Now I know this one! The pretty lass I met once before when ya gave me a light kicking around. But the little lass I know not off! Cute too! Ya little one?" Jarvis chuckling carrying a oddly cheerful aura about him. Curious in nature but not as abruptly rude as usually but clearly trying to have a little fun. He'd place a hand to the side of his mouth as if jesting a secret or to hide what he was saying from Cipher when clearly it was a joke since he'd still here. " At least ya got some more expression then yer ol man here. I can't tell when he's pissed, happy, or about to throttle me sometimes! I think he's just jelly of me pretty face and my lovely tail! What ya think little dove?" Sliding a bottle on the table as if to offer it to Cipher unsure if his wife or he actually drank. " Compliments of thee house its said! So what's got you out and about at a place like this so late and lively? Don't mind a little droppin in do ya? I can be friendly like!" Giving Cipher a huge green from ear to ear as he had his toothy smile that just said he was the mischievous little fox everyone who knew him knew he was. Aina

A rather simple job for Aina. To go and meet back up with her bosses within the BBA. To make sure that everything was still going as well as they had been hoping and that she had been acclimating to her new life working with those that she had at one time fought. Yet social interactions like this where something that she was not accustomed to. For her the most human interaction she got was usually through the implants in her ears that she would give and receive intelligence on her missions through. As for her she was more comfortable far away from civilization. So after all this here she was standing outside of the place within a red dress that hugged her half breed self quite well. Accentuating just the right places and showing just the right amount of skin. Sadly for her it was the only really nice dress she had so here she was.
A soldier leered at her as she stepped from the taxi she had brought in and she caught the look just from the corner of her eye. With a smirk on her face she flared out her hips toward the man as she walked toward the entrance of the restaurant and the young man nearly fell over himself as he scrambled to open the door for her. With the smirk plastered on her face she watched him hold the door for her with a large grin on his face. “Ah.. Here you are maam. E..Enjoy yourself this evening.”
“You are a good soldier now aren’t you? I would suggest keeping your eyes out for those who would cause harm instead of my arse young man.” She spoke softly as she passed him as she moved her head and her hair moving to show off the fresh tattoo on her neck. The BBA logo with her own touch of a darkened phoenix visible for a split second which caused the man to stand up a little straighter as she let out a chuckle and she looked around the restaurant as she entered. She had been told that her commander would be out here with his wife and child and their general descriptions. So she after spending time memorizing the looks would be certain who it was that she was looking for. Noticing the android and family off in a corner she smiled widely as she would assume that her reputation would of made it appear that she would be a he instead of what she most obviously was.
Striding across the dining area as she made note of another person appearing beside the table with a rather large bottle of alcohol. ::Must be a waiter… Wait he just said commander. So this must be one of the others from the unit. Alright keep an eye on him. :: Making mental notes as she slowed her pace and made her steps more purposeful. Nearing the table she could not help but overhear Jarvis speak about how the rumor was that Cipher was there to meet someone. Stopping as she made it to the table she coughed lightly as Jarvis was distracted by Cipher’s lovely daughter. “Apologies for being late commander. I am not used to such places of opulence and finery despite my appearance to the contrary.”
She would give him a very formal and crisp bow as she crossed her hands in front of herself holding her small billfold in place. Looking over the table she noticed the bottle was a bottle of scotch. A slight smirk crossed her lips as she enjoyed a rather strong drink on her own time but if she was allowed to have a few glasses while in such a formal setting then there was a chance this was not going to be so bad. As she rose from the bow she continued on speaking her tone normal as she looked at the quad of people. “I am Aina, formerly the Dove of the Earth military sole survivor of the Phoenix Black Ops Team that was wiped out during the first Battle over West City. It is an honor to meet you Sir Cipher and Lady Porsalynne.”

Out of all the people Cipher was expecting to see here this evening, Jarvis was NOT one of them. Apparently he was the owner of this here establishment. Suddenly the BBA security made sense. And it also explained where some of the BBA's more delinquent soldiers disappeared to. Trust Jarvis to attract the troublemakers. Jarvis wasted no time in reintroducing himself to Porsalynne, and then to his daughter Charlene. He had a feeling that Jarvis would get along with his daughter. After all, both were troublemakers (though he hoped to the bottom of his heart that Charlene would turn out better than him when she got older).
Charlene chuckled at Jarvis's joke. "You learnt to pick up the little things in his expressions. Like when he's angry at me for raiding the armory."
Cipher spoke up cooly. "You raided the armory and led my men on a chase around Site A. Honestly, I don't know whether to be proud of you or annoyed."
"I'll give you a hint dad, it starts with a 'p'."
Porsalynne was beaming at the conversation when she noticed someone approaching. Gently tapping Cipher's hand, the android looked over to see woman in a red dress approach their table. Cipher gave a small smile as she introduced herself, noting her mentioning that she had formerly been a member of the Global Military and had fought in the Wetsern Capitol Conflict. He made a mental note to keep the conversation away from that, lest things get awkward. He rose to his feet, offering his hand. "A pleasure to meet you Aina," he said courteously, "Allow me to also introduce you to my daughter, Charlene." He gestured to the small girl, who gave a smile and a friendly "yo". Cipher then strained to keep himself from sighing as he gestured to Jarvis. "And this is Jarvis, a fellow member of KAOS, and the owner of this establishment." He silently prayed that Jarvis didn't do anything to mess this up. They were supposed to give a good impression to the new recruit.

Jarvis chuckled at the little one. She was a rather spirited girl and Jarvis seemed to like it. Waving over a man one of his guards and whispering something to him before shooing him away a moment later. Clasping his hands together and talking across the table to the two lovely ladies of Ciphers family. "You're old man is a bit yea... HE really worked one over on me in that arena not long back. An once when I landed on the planet actually... An one other time but you could say that was more of a 'hairy' situation. A king kong sized problem! But he's not sooooo bad. I still think I'm at least prettier though! Blue Banner and all. I'm a little more blue as you can tell Kiddo." Jarvis eyeing Ciphers wife innocently. AS if making sure he wasn't offending. Jarvis was... in good spirits. Sure the saiyans were coming but he was alive. An even with his recent... acquiring of business. He had been turning in quite a few criminals of late. An been noticed training with Bing and his comrades. He would always have a rough around the edges bit to him. But perhaps slowly chip away at it with time.
Jarvis stood up with Cipher and when he was introduced he rather cheekily would at least try to throw a arm around Cipher's shoulders and place his side against him. Smirking at the girl who entered. Clearly liking her looks except... Why did she look familiar. Something about her just gnawed at him right off but he was in too good of spirits to let it fade on him. "Don't worry dove! Being fashionably late is always best! An yea if you haven't heard of me yet I'm sure you will sooner or later. I've got a little more spunk then the rest of my soldierly friend." Jarvis seeming suddenly eager to meet this new girl. Whatever they ordered would be free but he'd not bring that up till later. Bit still be wanting to pop open the bottle he brought over. He'd reserve his cigars for later as he figured Cipher would be the type to waggle his finger at the idea of smoking around his family possibly. Jarvis would release Cipher and sit back down next to him when they all seated once more shortly after. "All sorts of fun this eve right? New faces new soldiers and saiyans speeding our way... A little celebration and relaxation before we kick some furry arse back to that dust ball of a planet they got." Jarvis chuckling a bit. His eyes drifting to Aina time and time again as if trying to recall why she looked... familiar. Her race and hair color as well as those eyes. He'd need to ponder on this over the time to relax before trying to push out a further response or see if the time to rest had him recall naturally.

Aina bowed slightly as she was introduced to Ciphers daughter. To her it must have come naturally to just be so nonchalant around such fighters and soldiers. She could not help but crack a smile at her demeanor. Such a small bundle of joy she must be for him. Though this brought up a nagging feeling in the back of her mind. Had she been like this and if she had why had her parents given her away to live a life on the streets as she had. Yet her mind was snapped back to reality as Cipher began to introduce Jarvis to her. The sight of the large muscular man made her smile a little wider as moved her hips ever so slightly in his direction to stand just that bit more alluring toward the fellow half breed.
Though instead of bowing she spoke up toward him. “It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance Jarvis. A lovely establishment you have here. Though I think one of your gentlemen out front for security prefers to watch the clientele more than watch for security. You may want to go speak with him about that.” What started off as flattery turned into a rather scathing burst of information toward the owner of the establishment. Yet her words had stopped when he heard her call her dove and her left eyebrow ticked ever so slightly as she hated anyone using her codename outside of missions. Though as he mentioned spunk she shook her head as the double entendre of the word stuck into her mind and she could not help herself.
“I have heard there are certain people that can help with that issue Jarvis. A strapping man like yourself should not have that much spunk within themselves.” In the single statement it showed just how long Aina had spent with the soldiers and other men instead of other women. Taking a moment she noticed the empty chair and assumed it was for herself as there was an unused menu sitting on the tabletop and she sat down holding her dress in place as she sat down.
“Apologies for the joke Cipher I saw an opportunity and well I do not fail to strike when an opportunity presents itself.” Bowing her head toward Cipher and his wife and child. She was not over being prim and proper with those higher in rank than she is. Though those of equal rank or else she would just act as one of the guys as it where.

A small smile appeared on Cipher's face as Aina took a quick jab at Jarvis. He knew of Jarvis' reputation with the ladies (and how that sometimes got him in trouble), so it was a little satisfying to see someone throwing it back at him. "No apologies neccassary. It would save us all a lot of trouble if Jarvis had a little less spunk in him." Hearing her own father crack a joke at Jarvis brought a sharp laugh from Charlene, and a small giggle from Porsalynne.
"But anyway, please, have a seat. Join us. I didn't invite you out here just for you to stand. And don't worry about the check. The BBA will cover it. After all, I do believe this could be considered a business meeting." At the mention of them not having to pay for the meal, Porsalynne perked up. "You mean, we can have as much as we wish?" Cipher blinked then sent her a wary look. "Erm, yes." Porsalynne gave a big grin and began looking through the menu in earnest. Cipher then recalled that his dear companion had the eating ability to rival a Saiyan, and the appetite to back it up. He could just imagine having to explain to the Administrator the rather large food bill now.
With a small sigh he turned to Aina and Jarvis. "Come, sit and join us. And since this is your place, you're welcome to join us too Jarvis." He and Charlene shifted over to make room for the two.

Jarvis snickered about his guards. Most of them were pretty much just for looks anyway or a little aid when anyone got too drunk or needed roughing up. He had to make sure as well if any special business went on the right people were around for the right reasons an all that that may imply. Of course Jarvis himself only had four who actually held any trust. The Kaos squad he took under him. Not the most clean record folks but they got the jobs done. Good for what he needed and he still had them run what they did clean as to not do anything to distasteful towards BBA or anything that would get Bing all in a tussle. But he did feel a little need to play the part of the charming little devil! Still curious why she looked so familiar when he was almost sure she wasn't someone hew knew. "Aye is this right lass? Well taking a peek meself I may like to say I can't rightly blame them now can I? I mean is not simply a flattery to know some 'clientele' Draw so naturally don't you know? Them and their 'assets' and all!" Jarvis letting up a huge grin upon his lips. He was at present just glad to be alive after what happened with Red in the battle prior. Now was a time for cheer and enjoyment in what little time they all got in between the training of late. It was nice to just be care free when you didn't have gravity burning down on your back in a weighted room while thinking of furry tailed bastards coming to steal your treasures.
He seemed to pause on her second comment. A bit lost for words and clearly thinking on her words. Not sure if he was just complimented or insulted. Trying to decipher it for a few moments or two. Then Cipher too? An the girl laughing a bit. "Oi Oi Oi! I have me ways of getting me spunk lowered but there are children present! The lass knows just where to stick her dagger I see? Heh sweet little thing I like her already! She'll be more fun then the rest of the KAOS stiffs I have to deal with." Jarvis popping the top off the bottle and pouring down some into a glass and a few others at the table for those interested. Drinking it quickly as the sweet scent of a more find brand filled the air rather fast once the bottle had a moment to breathe.
"Business and the like? A little pleasure drizzled on top for a right good bit of spirits" He was curious what these two had planned to discuss a bit. Always curious to catch a bit of information or gossip. Raising a brow and snickering lightly at how cheery Ciphers wife was. Curious just how much she wanted to eat. A little curious what androids did in fact eat... He would find out soon enough he figured.

The fact that her boss the android before her had continued along with her joke actually brought a slight smile to her lips. Which would be in sharp contrast to the neutral expression she had on her face for most of the time. As he spoke about taking a seat Aina nodded and moved to take the seat she was standing next to. Setting the small billfold upon the table she took the seat. Pulling up the menu she began to read through it. The price tags of most of the cuisine would make her scream on most other nights. Yet tonight she was here and being wined and dined by her newest suitors. She had never assumed that she would be working with the BBA. Especially after the intelligence she had gathered from rather careless soldiers just after the battle within West City.
To her it was sloppy how bad the security was directly after the attack on the depots that the BBA had set up around the city. So for her to slink in and escape was elementary. The thoughts of the last time she had been in contact with the BBA though was pushed from her mind as Jarvis returned the playful words with more of his own. Smirking at him she leaned a little forward on the table as she looked at him. “I bet you would love to try and catch the dove now wouldn’t you Jarvis?”
Her own flirting back at him was nearly identical to the never met matriarchal figure of her mother. It would be striking to Jarvis in just how her mannerisms where and the way she tilted her head and looked at him would be identical in every aspect. Watching as he poured the glass she would take the drink and down a decent portion of it in a single gulp without so much as flinching as she set the glass back on the bar. “A bottle of good strong stuff. Quite good enough to knock the novice off the stool that is for certain. Though for one who has been there and done many a thing it takes the edge off the evening more than anything else. “
Letting her words linger as she shifted in her seat. Turning her gaze back to the menu she found something that finally intrigued her. As she did she felt a tugging at her head. Which made her bring a hand to her left temple. A slight wince of pain would cross her face as if she felt the same tug a second time only harder this time. It was as if something was attempting to talk to the ‘voice’ that inhabited her head. Focusing within her mind she blocked anything that was incoming with effort and she brought her hand back down after a few moments and pointed at the collection of pastas. “Seeing as you own this fine establishment Jarvis which of these would you suggest for a lovely evening such as this?”

Cipher couldn't help but chuckle as the two had their little exchange. It was good to see Jarvis get taken down a peg or two. He just hoped that they could keep their relationship professional. He knew of Jarvis' reputation with the ladies, and how that sometimes got him into trouble.
He glanced down at the menu. The prices here were outrageous! Cipher had thought that Jarvis had given up on crime. This was plain daylight robbery. He glanced over at Porsalynne, who was quietly picking out what she wanted. Yep, he was going to have to explain to Vipoi why a business dinner cost such an insane amount (in which case he was going to blame Jarvis). He just hoped she and Jarvis didn't get into an eating contest. That would probably bankrupt the entire BBA. And they had enough money issues as it was.
Charlene was glancing at Aina with curious eyes. "I don't get it though," she said, "You said you fought with the military during the Western Capitol fight right? Wasn't that against the BBA? Why are you joining us now?" Cipher froze. The one topic he had wanted to avoid, and his daughter had brought it up. She had mentioned that she was the surviving member of her platoon, implying that the BBA had killed her comrades. He just hoped that this didn't ruin the meal too much as he awaited her answer.

Jarvis snickered at the girls words to catch the dove... But still he found himself eyeing her and the angles of her face and body. Something familiar but elusive when trying to find what ti was he recognized. He was sure after searching his memories he didn't know her but as well couldn't help but feel like he should have. "I think my reputation proceeds me if your saying things like that lass. Whose to say it won't one day fall in my traps and snares. I've been know before to be the fox in the hen house so to speak and I imagine a dove even more of a challenge for the mischievous fox." Jarvis pausing for a moment as the smell of alcohol on the bottle he opened hit his nose. Something tussling his memories. Jarvis poured some of the alcohol but froze up looking her over. His caught wide his blue hues lost fora moment as his jaw hung open lightly ajar. Oh shit he wondered as to was he possibly actually meeting who he thought he was meeting. He remembered the girls story of her children and her search for them. The women he'd met on that night of dark memories. He wouldn't be forgetting her any time soon that was for sure.
His ears also catching wind of the fight they were talking about. Cipher would likely remember as well Jarvis had only come to this planet for a few months now and hadn't been around for some of the events he'd heard of such as the Oozaru problems an apparently this form of battle as well. "So it wasn't always rainbows and sunshine then? Heh... I'd like to hear about this. An I have this? If you were asking for recommendations. Its Cold Brandy and by Cold I mean a rare arcosian brand not just frosty. I... Know a guy that got me a few cases. Given the empire is in.... Not the best shape. You'd be surprised at how many goods are coming up for sale. All sorts of old big wigs from various planets trying to do whats best for them and all. Not that I care about a dead empire mind you." Jarvis jesting a bit and curious on the subject they talked off. Pouring a few drinks all for the people at the table except the child of course. The brandy that was the caliber in which normally even arcosians would find high caliber. It would if they were drinkers in the least be quite the treat. Jarvis didn't know if Cipher or is lovely wife for a android would drink so he made sure it was just a modest amount in the glass. "We can just forget the cost as well. I am good on profit for now,... You could say I got a great deal when taking this place. It was a real steal." Jarvis wasn't sure if Cipher was watching him or not but at least he'd arrested several people of interest in west city. Although it would be hard to peace together Jarvis was making sure he was setting up a cushy home. Possible more of a sign he was setting up home on earth. He just wanted to be comfortable. People were growing on him and he liked this place but he still had a style of lively hood he wished to pursue after. A boy who had nothing for so long after he struck out on his own would likely desire greatly all of which was denied to him for so long.
He seemed to ponder something taking a drink from his glass slowly the strong burn not getting any reaction on his face. It took allot more then even this to get a reaction out of him when it cam to his alcohol. Looking at the elusive dove while waiting to hear what foods they'd all desire. Jarvis curious of the android womans appetite as well. But first speaking softly as if trying not to sound like he had a motive for asking but just curious when he said. "So... The BBA is a nice place though from what I've seen if they accepted me as well. I assume your family must be proud? Serving your planet is a bold thing... Your mother proud?" Pausing each time she moved seeing it. He was almost positive but had to be sure. Now it was like a mystery he just had to unravel.

Aina sat in the chair patiently listening to the idle chatter between the others. As she lifted her drink to her lips she felt that voice attempting to nibble on the back of her mind and make her acknowledge its existence and it drew her away from the chatter. The drink on her lips as she realized that Charlene had asked her something and she snapped back. Her face turned a little dour and she looked downward. “Because it was a few members of the BBA who found me and saved me. When I was fighting within the city I stumbled across a squad who where pretty much the squads that should not be. I have a feeling your husband knows what I mean on these units but they found me and well they helped me escape the city instead of allowing me to head to the center of the city. They gave me the way I used to contact your husband as well when I felt I was ready to take them up on the bargain. As for my comrades… We where together then that massive brawl began in the center of town. One of the errant ki blasts came from that battle and slammed into our barracks. I was outside of it as I was training myself so I survived by sheer dumb luck.”
Finishing her short explanation she heard Jarvis speaking up about the fox and the dove and she smirked as she turned toward him to give him the attention he deserved. Waving her hand toward him dismissively she was smiling wide at him. “Well if I ever do fall into your snares then I myself have been slipping then. Cause we are not friends there Jarvis. Though if we were friends who knows there Jarvis. As for me friends comfort one another from time to time.”
Unknown to her she was echoing words that her mother had spoken toward Jarvis in almost the exact same style of situation. The smirk on her face did not move as she took a long drink from the alcoholic beverage. After that she set it back down and listened some more. Listening to him speak about what the type of brandy there was brought her mouth into a larger smirk. Raising the glass to her lips she finished off what was within her glass in a single gulp before raising the glass toward Jarvis and smiling toward him. “Gimme some of that stuff then Jarvis. I would love to try something that foreign to Earth. I can only imagine what it is that would be needed to make and Arcosian become drunk. I hope that it is incredibly strong.”
“Though before you bring me the drink how about we get some food ready to fill our stomachs. An empty stomach full of alcohol is but a lonely stomach that needs companions. So seeing as I brought it up I will order first then. I would love a large plate of pasta, red sauce, extra cheese upon it, and meat. A lot of meat upon it Jarvis.” The order came out before she listened to him ask about serving the planet as she was going to do. That brought the smile to her face to extremely wide across her face until he spoke about her mother. With that her eyes narrowed a little and a slight glare toward Jarvis would feel ice cold as her voice would come up with a quite evident frigidness to it.
“I have no mother or father… I was raised on the street, of the street and I have had no need for a mother who had no need for me. All I know is the bitch left me at a hospital the day I was born. Sent into orphanages until the day I ran away and stayed away til I joined the military and earned everything I have today… So I would not have a single damn idea if she would be proud or not.” The venom stuck upon every word as she slid her glass toward him as she felt the bile raising in her throat and needed something to burn it down and get the pain away once more.

Cipher nodded quietly as she gave her explanation. A stray ki blast? It must have been from the battle between Vipoi, Reikiko and the super Saiyan. It made sense considering their power at the time. He was somewhat glad though that this conversation didn't turn awkward or anything. Though he was somewhat curious about who gave her the information to contact the BBA. Oh well, he could work that out later.
As Aina explained her backstory, Cipher's face fell. Abandoned and forced to live by herself. Cipher knew what that was like. He had spent a good chunk of his short life alone, living on the streets until the BBA took him in. Porsalynne seemed to think the same thing, turning to give Cipher a sad look. He glanced down at their daughter, remembering the years she had spent alone as well. "I can safely say that most of us know how you feel. In the end, it's not about how proud your parents are of you. It's how proud you are with yourself." Posalynne gave a small, approving smile.
At that point, the waiter approached them. "Are you ready to order?" he asked politely. Porsalynne smiled brightly, beginning to point out a couple of items, all rather expensive. Cipher tried to suppress a groan, reminding himself that the BBA was covering the meal. As Charlene gave her own (thankfully cheaper) order, Cipher glanced at the menu briefly before his turn came. "Oh, I'll have schnitzel," he said, pointing to the object in question to clarify.

Jarvis he snickered a bit and though of continuing his jests about catching a dove but with children present and Cipher he didn't feel like playing the cad or the scoundrel this evening. Besides as he listed to her words further he found himself with a twist of knots within his gut. He could perhaps just for a moment see the similarities from movement and some of the ways she moved and when she mentioned her past family or lack there of. He knew it was still a bit of a stretch but his gut and instincts were sure his suspicions were correct. An it made him think on refinding his strange green haired from from nights prior. Pouring the woman a drink and bringing it over before sitting back down as well. His eyes likely being caught he was staring again but the expression for a moment as if he'd seen a ghost as he pieced this together. Somber and lightly curious still on what more there was to this story. "Its hard to know what circumstances lead one to leave a child in such a way. Could be for protection as well? I suppose... at least for now we will not know. My mother was likely killed on Arcose recently but never got on well with her. Been ten eleven years since I saw her? Turning out and running from being a potential Arcosian empire officer I don't imagine left her with any more love for me anyhow. Suppose in the end right call given its all a pile of ash or whatever you wish to phrase it as now. Heh... Cheers to that." Mothers that cared and daughters left for various reasons. Jarvis wasn't good with parenthood problems like this. He knew only scorn and harsh discipline when it came to his small knowledge of his own mother and a father he would likely never learn of. Shooting back the alcohol strong as he jested on how Arcose was nothing now but death and ruin.
Listening to all the peoples orders as well finding it a bit more classy then the company he was used too. Normally most people didn't order thing beyond more plain food but at least they had taste. Jarvis didn't order thing for himself just poured another drink and took it back. He was too distracted to consider dining at present. but he did wish to see his companions enjoy themselves. "So what was this conflict all about? What was happening at the center of the city? When I first met Cipher here I thought it was simply earths main military given I was new to the planet. Heh an now I work for them so I guess I can't insult it anymore really. But even if they aren't exactly that I am curious... Why were they fighting other there? Perhaps the boss has a more interesting way of doing things then I thought." He'd slide one of the glasses to Cipher as if curious if the droid could even feel the effects? He wasn't sure if all those mechanical bits made it hard to get drunk or not. "Also lass streets aren't so bad. When I went on me own as a boy away from that cold shit planet of Arcose I had a hell of a time moving around arcosian controlled space. Had my share of smuggling training piracy for awhile... I think if it wasn't for there recent 'war' I'd likely still be wanted there. Or maybe I am... Does bba have a way to check that? To know if its safe to go there? Ah either way the harder your life is the stronger you can become. Trust me when I saw life in that planets system is hell considered what a cake walk this planets underbelly seem like." Smirking a bit with a rather large grin as he for a moment recalled some of those dark years.
